• He tells us we need to learn how to do something but he also says he isn't gonna teach us how to do it
• He puts pictures on the board for us to translate (he tells us first tho) (a variety of photos, sometimes its obvious sometimes its not) but I really think he should have a picture, the word in french and the word in english.
• He does ^ in bulk so like idk how many at a time and expects us to memorize it all within 2 months, doesn't always stick with one, and doesn't test us on all of them
• oh yeah and one time he mumbled under his breath (in french but it was an easy translation - he either said c'est impossible or vous impossible, I only got the second word tho) saying that WE'RE impossible.

Hello everyone,
I noticed my current SSD (only one) is not really doing well atm. (20% health or something). Decided to buy an M.2 SSD, which I never had. For my windows.
However, whenever I have the M.2 connected to my MOBO, the entire thing wont work at all. I cant even get into the BIOS. Black Screen only.
I tried removing all other disks, and just have the M.2 connected. Same issue. When I remove the M.2, it boots like it always does without any issues.
Specs I am using: - Z390 Aorus Elite - Intel i9-9900k - MSI GeForce 2080
Is the M.2 I received just bricked? Or is my MOBO broken? I am out of ideas and going insane on what to do.

Hi Snoo parents! I’m hoping some of you may have advice about what to tackle first as we prepare to transition to the crib: motion or arms out?
Some background: Baby girl is 4.5 months old, she’s starting to roll both ways consistently and loves her hands. Her sleep was amazing the first couple of months, but lately it’s gotten a lot worse. She went from sleeping through the night to waking every couple of hours. The past few weeks she’s also been waking up for an hour or longer in the middle of the night, so we knew we had to try something.
The situation: Last night she slept in the Merlin suit for the first time and it was a major improvement (she slept two 4-hour chunks, and went to sleep immediately after nursing both times). So I’m definitely going to have her keep sleeping overnight in that for the time being.
But since we don’t have too much longer in the snoo, I’m wondering what we should work on during her naps. These are the potential options I’m considering, and I’d be grateful if anyone could weigh in one way or the other!
Options for next steps: 1. Keep her in the Merlin for naps, but turn on weaning mode on the snoo, so she can hopefully get used to less motion.

1. Practice naps with her arms out, no Merlin and just the snoo swaddle around her belly and legs. She’s taken some naps like this so I know she’s capable, and I think this is would better prepare her for a sleep sack since it’s less restricting than the Merlin.
   
2. Try naps in the crib so she gets used to no motion as well as the bigger space. Probably would keep her in the Merlin, although with the larger space there’s more risk of her rolling so I would have to keep an eye on that. She might like sleeping on her side or belly at some point, in which case we would have to do just a sleep sack, but I don’t know if she’s ready for that.
   

Does any of these seem to make more sense than the others to try first? Or is there another option I’m not considering that you’d recommend? Any advice would be much appreciated!

My wife and I are planning to retire in 6 years at age 62. We have a comfortable amount of retirement funds but could of course use more. Our house will be paid off at the same time as retirement.
We don’t have any heirs, so our plan is to spend our very last dollar one day before we die lol. We don’t have anybody to leave the house to so we are thinking that we will pull a reverse mortgage to supplement our retirement funds. Once we die, it goes to the bank.

My main pet peeve with the Insta360 is the FOV is less than the other two. I want an action camera to record a variety of my activities (horseriding, biking, driving, hiking, scuba diving etc) and mainly want to create vertical format videos. For low light, I don't think I need an action camera I have a really capable phone that can do stuff low light and I won't need an action camera in such scenarios anyway.

Just kidding, it's not a memoir. Yes, I'm back at it again with everyone's favorite topic. Anyway, there's a few reasons 6s despise being called 6s and why they might mistype so easily:

1. 6s are naturally attuned to sentiment analysis.

What do I mean by this? I mean that 6s are very carefully listening to the things that people say, the chatter that goes around, because they don't want to be left out of the loop. It doesn't matter what variant the 6 is, this "attunedness" is one of the defining and characteristic traits of 6s. In unhealthier 6s this verges on the edge of paranoia, sometimes even dipping into it fully, where the 6 feels like you are talking about or more specifically against them. Usually the arguments stem from some sort of misalignment or misunderstanding of language choice where the hyper-specific language of the 6 in question doesn't match the environment. To combat this, mirroring the 6's language choice will do wonders.

2. 6s are inherently distrusting because of their ambivalence to authority.

There's a misconception that 6s somehow like being told what to do, but that is not the case. Really what they want is clarity. 6s will not accept anything that does not resonate with their truth. The ambivalence of authority and trust that 6s have often spawns from mistreatment, so when you try to tell a 6 "what they are" even if it may be true, the instinct is to deny or shut it down. Unless framed properly, 6 brain interprets it as something along the lines of "I KNOW YOU MORE THAN YOU DO" "YOU ARE LESS THAN" "YOU DON'T KNOW YOURSELF" "YOU'RE NOT [desired trait] AND NEVER WILL BE" so of course the instinct is going to thrash against it unless you have evidence of the contrary that isn't belittling. This distrust, though, is natural to the 6 so calling it out as some sort of failing isn't going to get you very far at all.

3. There is a genuine undercurrent of belittlement and predation.

Being openly vulnerable in this world invites harassment and scrutiny. Despite being a Head type, 6s are a bit unfortunate with being naturally expressive of their emotions. 6s wish they could simply be straightforward about things and have their needs respected, but they are aware that it's only going to lead to more trouble. Because they feel the "trouble" anyway, a more counterphobic 6 tends to get into arguments about this expressiveness, while the phobic 6s try to keep it under the hood. Predators often see young 6s as targets which is what spawns and then reinforces the natural defenses that 6s have. On the flip side though, this sudden vulnerability is a shocking component that 6s have and can catch people totally off guard even in good ways if they aren't prepared for it.
A lot of people genuinely see 6s as "weaker" 8s at best or whiny children at worst, and a lot of those people are also unconscious 6s themselves.

4. The 6 descriptions outright suck.

We all know this to be true, but the descriptions of 6s don't do it much justice leading to the community to form unjust stereotypes and give all of the positive 6 traits to someone else. Think about the various stereotypes - Analytical, intellectual? Sorry, that's a 5. Strong, protective? That's an 8! Caring, sensitive, devoted? No, that's a 2. Creative, emotive, deep? That's a 4! 6s are left with... drumroll loyal, which might as well be spitting in their face to the type that is most inherently distrusting and sensitive about their natural human vulnerabilities. Pragmatism, the thing that 6s do best, isn't something that is often valued and 6s often don't see themselves in it.
Back to the first point, 6s are so attuned to this that they will reject it because they sure as hell don't see themselves as more "loyal" than anything else, nor would they consider that a strength even if they did. 6s aren't some nondescript type, but from the descriptions you'd think they are. 9s have a similar problem of being delegated to something less than and generic but their psyche doesn't demand they fight it, so they typically don't. This problem really isn't unique to the Enneagram community, it's genuinely fucking everywhere, but this is just how it happens to play out here. It's similar to "sensor discourse" in the MBTI community. This is a double whammy for the 6s who happen to feel alienated from society as a whole, because again you're essentially telling them that they're not only boring but that they don't experience the alienation that they do. "You make up all of society as a whole!!" No, no we don't. 6s are just one of the more vocal types.

5. 6s have naturally low self-worth and struggle with identity.

The burden of consciousness comes at a cost, and for 6s it means they typically start out with a low sense of self-worth. Growth for 6s is accepting this burden of consciousness and becoming a truly confident being. Some 6s take on a more aloof or rash persona to combat this, but true confidence is not something that can be faked. Unfortunately though this can be so convincing that even the 6 is not aware of their self worth, as "what they feel is what everyone feels" (unconscious projection). It can't be understated that these mechanisms are truly unconscious so they won't even know they are doing it, which means until the 6 can identify it within themselves they have to fight and test it.
Being an attachment type, 6s can struggle with identity. Unlike 9s, they typically are only aware of what they are not. It isn't until the patterns have crystallized and become identifiable to the 6 that they feel they know who they are. This is again not something that can be touched externally, but accepting what they are in the moment goes a long way.
To avoid the problem of 6s complaining or mistyping, it takes pretty much the same thing it does for everything else wrong with the world: An open discussion, but also empathy. 6s crave an understanding more than anything else, so showing them that you are trying is often good enough to put down the knife. Basically, let the 6 come to their own conclusions.
Personally, the only people historically that have snapped me out of my aggressive moments were the kind ones. The rest I could easily brandish as "against me", but not the kind ones. Try to be more kind with the things you say, even if you are joking. As much as I like the dog joke, doing it all the time without content of substance about 6s is just going to reinforce all of the trigger points. If you're going to be joking about someone or something in general, it's best if you don't "punch down". Hopefully this post will change at least some things people think.

1.) Our life here on Earth is short compared to enternity, why does what we do on Earth shape our afterlife with no chance of redemption?
2.) Why hasn't our Bible been perfectly persevered? There is many translations and the Catholic church took books out of the Bible that they didn't think needed to be added, how can we trust a book that has been changed? Each time I read the Bible I question "what else was changed, what else was taken out"
3.) The apocryphal were books removed from the Bible, one of the chapters, Infancy Gospel of Thomas which talks about Jesus during his childhood (we only see Jesus in the Bible from birth then to adulthood). In this chapter it talks about how Jesus killed someone for bumping into him when he was younger. I also remember hearing the story how Jesus pushed another child off the roof which killed the child and Jesus later brought him back to life. These were taken out because it didn't align with the character of Christ and it is said that these chapters are written by various authors. Why don't we see Christ's childhood? Why are these stories taken out?
4.) Why does Jesus only speak in paraboles? He never comes out with what he really means, it is left for interpertation. I believe this has a large part why there is so many branches of Christanity. He also never says that he is God, I know the scriptures ( John 1:1, 14:,John 10:30:, Colossians 2:9:, Philippians 2:5-6: , Hebrews 1:8, Titus 2:13,Matthew 26:63-64, John 20:28, John 14:9,John 10:30, John 8:58 ) but why doesn't he just outright say it?
5.) How can we trust Paul? Often times his teachings go against what Jesus taught

I’ve recently been informed of my grandparents’ will logistics, wherein when one of them dies I will inherit 1/4 of the property (currently owned 50:50 between each grandparent). This is looking to happen before I am in the position to buy my own house, since I’m currently 25 and studying for a PhD.
As far as I understand, the inheritance would invalidate any First Time Buyer status I have since I would technically own property, despite not really being able to access it (and even if I immediately sold out to another family member, for example). As a consequence, any money saved in a LISA would then be “locked” for retirement or subject to the 25% withdrawal penalty.
I have £10k in a Moneybox LISA (2 years’ maxed contributions) and 3k in my EF (Barclays rainy day @ 5%), as well as another limited access Nationwide account that matures for 8% lump sum interest later this year. Any income is pretty stable and between the two accounts I have a solid enough Emergency Fund that I’m comfortable with.
I acknowledge I’m very fortunate to be in a position to inherit anything of substance before purchasing a house, but am looking for guidance in the best way forward.

[A figure over 20% is fairly high] it becomes easier for the stock to increase.. the buyers can force the stock to go higher, and brokers will cover, force buy the shorts to close out positions but it is not necessary..
AMC had near 500 million volume and GME 200 yesterday….
AMC had 263 million shares available… AMC took advantage of the volume and printed 72.5 million brand new shares at an average of 3.45 yesterday for 250 million.
Does AA have #FOMO ?
This morning’s peak was 13 for AMC and 80 for GME … AMC does need the money for business, it does suck that they didn’t have more offerings available and had they known, this 250 million would be over 1 billion today!

Yesterday, I did bid 500 dollars on 2 different GME puts for July. I guess I was lucky that neither filled. A 25 and 27 strike… Based on premarket I may be able to 60-70 LOL! If I lose it is a risk I am willing to take.

I would like to buy 3 different AMC and 3 different GME puts. Maybe different strike prices or expiration dates and at most 500 each. The most I can lose is the money in the option. No YOLO! No one can predict the prices, just that it will be hot money…
If you go on the fundamentals :
AMC 330 million shares = 700 to 800 million value means near $2 to 2.50 fair value
GME 305 million shares = 700 to 800 million value means near 2.50
It is obvious that the companys’ themselves can not make enough money to justify the 4 and 10+ billion market caps they will have at open.

I sold PERI at 12.55 from 12.10. I will keep making this trade. They will be doing a 75 million buyback soon. The CFO expects it to start soon and close by June 30^th. The only speculation here is when it starts and if they will have a daily limit… Will they buy in several days? Or buy 5 million a day? 10 million a day? That no one knows… I took a bet a few weeks ago on DNUT because of MCD news.. The earnings were good. I have 1,000 at 13.55, I may buy 1,000 more as it goes near 12…. I am positive when MCD roll out completes there will be a 25% increase in sales… not earnings, but sales….. earnings, I do not know… I have WBA at 19 and 19.25… I am glad they are selling off Boot stores in the UK. They must unlock some value here. I did bid 22.50 on more ACMR.. I did try YOU … I almost sold SOFI at 7.35 [In 1,000 at 7.10] I did make a bid for PYPL . COIN had amazing earnings I am watching… OSCR as well…
Looking for a deal on MTCH again, last sale at 29.. So there are lots of things to do besides memes.. Just be careful out there. It is a roll of the dice!

AMC / GME – Open the casinos! I don’t blame anyone long or short, I am willing to make several 500 bets on different strikes and dates.. They will all have time. [Yesterday I tried July GME puts with a 25 and 27 strike, no fills]

PERI – I have 500 still at 22, They will be at the auctions soon and I want to be in first! Last trade 12.10 to 12.55 on 500… I will keep trading more blocks of 500

SOFI – I would like to make 25 cents on my 1,000 at 7.10 and keep trading a block of 1,000

ACMR MTCH OSCR – Some stocks I have been watching with good earnings or value

DKNG COIN – Both great earnings but speculative at valuations, I would risk money in Call options, not shares

I (25F) am honestly a little hurt. I started talking to a guy (30M) recently, and although I know that most relationships fail I have seen no red flags in this guy yet whatsoever.
The guy is super respectful towards me, he said he likes me more the more that we talk and so do I.
My 2 girlfriends (27F) have had bad experience in dating (like most of us, duh) but are not even trying anymore, they are in a single era which is great, and we have a groupchat. This group chat is constantly filled with hate about men and dating in general.
However, as they are my best friends I decided to share with them the other day that I think this guy likes me, not saying i am head over heels or anything, I am also being cautious and just taking it slow. One of my friends which has never met him or knows nothing about him proceed to say things like "he is definitely sleeping with other women" and "I will be mocking you so hard when you see it will not work out". Okay, maybe it won't work out but nobody knows that, not me or them this early. This obviously made me sad and I decided to stop sharing. Another girlie that is a new friend of mine gave me great advice and was super supportive so at least that.
I feel like the reason my girls are so unhappy in dating is because they are kinda becoming so bitter. I also have been hurt and the relationship I thought is going to be my one and only fell apart only last year but I am hopeful about the future.
Why are my friends so negative and should I stop sharing any news from my love life even though that would make me sad? Honestly they said other things too and I don't want to make this too long but I am really hurt because now I'm scared to share even the smallest bit of happiness. And if it all fails all I am going to get is "I told you so".
