I get the Maces have a stat in their info that states they are good on materials like rock and the such so they are a good weapon against things like golems, however a friend kept pointing out to me that they are good against undead like skeletons. He tells me that they deal more damage to skeletons as a form of blunt damage and tells me in that it’s deep in the coding. I don’t know… if anyone has deeply tested this, could I get an answer to this. I mainly run spear and scythes for my play style so I wouldn’t know. If this is true then I suppose it is a hidden stat in the game…

Hi all, my boyfriend recently moved in (April 20th) and we each have three cats… so now a six cat household (all fixed males). His cats had the upstairs for a few days with all amenities and my cats had the basement with all the amenities. Then we slowly did introductions. They had some little tiffs here and there but generally became fairly comfortable. Just yesterday (May 12) one of the orange boys started spraying on furniture and curtains. He loves to go outside so we do supervised garden time often that he loves. But he’s often at the door asking to go out. I’m not sure if it’s a dominance thing or behavior because we don’t let him out enough in his opinion? But the main thing is we want to figure out how to resolve this so he can stay in the house and not keep spraying! Any advice is very welcome!

I've seen many posts here on Reddit asking for recommendations for cars for tall men.(I'm 6'5 350#'s). Most of my height is in my legs, so I need lots of leg room. Even in my suburban, I had to ripe out the @#$%@#%#@$%@#$%@# center console(WHY ARE CENTER CONSOLES A THING?!?!?!?) so my knee had some where to be. I custom built my own console after I ripped out the one that blocks my knee from being comfortable.
I'm looking for a new daily driver and prefer a plug in hybrid, but i think i'm going to have to make do with a non plug in hybrid. Looking for something about 10 years old. And it needs to NOT have a center shifter because all that crap needs to be ripped out.
I tested a Lincoln mkz and it's pretty comfortable. the shifter is party of the dash. It looks like there's enough space to cut out part of the plastic of the main dashboard peice and blelow to fit my knee in. I'll have to add some padding n'stuff but it should work. BUT it's not a plug in.
Every other hybrid i've looked at from about 10 years ago all have the center shifters. Are there any that aren't?

I just wanted to leave this post for anyone interested in repasting their MSI Laptops in the same series or with the same chassis.
TLDR: About a minimally 16c decrease in temperatures during gaming on the CPU and about 20c decrease on the GPU. Replaced both thermal paste and thermal pads.
I’m an amateur when it comes to PC/Laptop modding so my testing methodology is very basic and included Cinebench, in-game performance and speed fan only.
I was having problems with temps regularly hitting 96c during gaming. I play both newer and older games such as Elden Ring and Final Fantasy XIV.
Often, at least once a day, the temps will hit a point where the laptop cranks the fans to maximum as if I turned on the Turbo Mode setting. This would persist until I shut down the game and waited a minute or so, it would not shut off unless this was done.
When the device was new this was not a problem. Now if it were just me in the house this would not be a problem, but my wife often complains about the loud fan noises.
I have repasted in the past with Arctic MX-4 or MX-6 and that would fix the problem for a short amount of time. I used too little, just right and too much amounts of thermal paste to see what would alleviate the situation.
Finally, after watching many videos both on Snark’s Domain, Linus Tech Tips and a myriad of different videos I decided to try Honeywell PTM9750 and Upsiren UP6 Pro.
The PTM9750 was purchased from LTT Store, however there are legit sellers on Aliexpress.
The Upsiren UP6 Pro was purchased from Aliexpress.
I won’t go over the PTM9750 installation as you can find that information on YouTube easily.
However the Upsiren UP6 Pro was applied by generally making 1cm balls and placing them in areas where the original thermal pads were. I made sure to replace them both on the motherboard side and the heatsink side.
Side note: by this point the thermal pads were easy to peel and felt thin. This was probably the main reason for my temps.
Results: Pre-paste In-game: CPU 96c, GPU 86c Cinebench Multicore: CPU 87c, GPU 45c - 7871 pts Cinebench Singlecore: CPU 96c, GPU 41c - 1422 pts
Post-paste In-game: CPU 80c, GPU 67c Cinebench Multicore: CPU 74c, GPU 52c - 8021 pts Cinebench Singlecore: CPU 85c, GPU 44c - 1501 pts
As you can see, I have had tremendous results overall.
Potential Problems: TPM7950 - My application had a few cracks/rips in the padding. I patched it up using spare pieces that were excess. However, upon reading up, this is not the correct way to apply PTM and may lead to poor contact. However, I believe I counteracted this by ensuring I screwed in the area around the CPU/GPU die instead of the fans first. In addition, as the PTM9750 melts, solidifies, melts and solidifies, this should work out over time.
Upsiren U6 PRO - My application was generally 1cm balls for each of the chips that previously had thermal pads on it. Upon screwing down the heatsink, excess thermal putty flowed from the sides. I believe if I allowed the excess to remain it would negatively transfer heat from the chip to both the heatsink AND any other component it may touch as excess (including the motherboard). As a result, I use the included scraper to remove excess and put it back into the container as best as I could.

I’ve had these bumps pop up on my body (mainly my feet, hands and torso. They are constantly itchy I’ve tried tons of creams because at first I thought it was eczema but then my boyfriend started saying he got bumps to. My dr said it was dust mite allergy and it was the reaction at first, and another said eczema, finally I went to a third and she told me it was scabies. I got the treatment for me and my boyfriend we both did it cleaned all our sheet’s clothes and anything we can think of. 1 month later and it’s getting worse, I’m constantly itching them and he’s popping the small bumps on him, I’ve tried tea tea oil treatments and it hasn’t worked any help is appreciated.

• Spawn system is unbearable after extended play time. Half of the game is just deathmatch fighting at spawn in which kind of defeats the purpose of an open world style game. Please add many other spawn points with a wider range on the sides of maps or make a dynamic spawn system that detects other player proximity and moves your spawn based on range so there is at least a buffer of room to get away. I know this is hard to do on farm based on the map size but currently this spawn system is going to turn off a lot of players since the game is built around hardcore loss of gear.
• Initial recoil bounce of guns should be removed/reworked. This was already hated in tarkov for years and makes semi auto guns really unviable compared to full auto. Please change this to be a more consistent curve of recoil instead of just a barrel bounce. Think Counter-Strike but more realistic based on attachments, etc.
• Jumping and shooting with full accuracy (super manning corners) needs to be nerfed. This is especially bad with scavs who have zero reason to lose anything and can still melt your legs/face with stock guns. I do enjoy the more arcadey movement but please don't make this into a call of duty 360 noscope type of game. If your feet are off of the ground your gun recoil should be double in my opinion. Easy fix.
• Full auto spread needs increased (lazer hipfire is bad FPS design). Currently full auto guns are way too strong in terms of being able to just hipfire horizontally and not really aim the gun. I do not want the goofy solutions that tarkov did like durability and jamming to make full auto not so dominant. Just make the recoil realistic in terms of the first few shots are accurate where aiming and then if you continue full auto the cone spreads. This is a known design that works in just about every single FPS game. Keep the realistic ballistics of course but also make the recoil patterns realistic as well. If you want an FPS shooter that is skill based than the player should be controlling the recoil not some arbitrary system. The current design just promotes cheesing as players will shoot the first 2-3 shots prefire into the corner of a wall knowing by the time they strafe out the recoil is "fixed" and they laser. It is just bad design overall for a game that wants tactical realism.
• Scav detection radius is absurd. I am not sure if it changes based on your player level but after hitting level 30 scavs see me from EVERYWHERE. I am talking like a 150m radius if I am anywhere near them I am spotted. They very often comm and rush at me from behind cover or non line of sight where they really should have no idea of my exact location other than general footsteps. Sniper scavs on valley are just as bad and I have been hit through trees at like 300m out just randomly moving through cover. Either please reduce the detection radius or make thier shots a bit less accurate. Sniper scav will basically kill you by shot 3 if you do not have hard cover or some serious armor. I have even multiple times (im taking like every other raid) will see a scav in the distance just straight rushing at my location when I have not fired a shot or given any target inidcaor and I will just watch them path right up to me like a magnet. Its both immersion breaking and annoying as hell.
• Scav tanking expensive ammo. This one drives me insane. If you want to make scavs be stronger by increasing health pools than please make some kind of visual change to thier clothing to look armored, especially the face. They dont actually have to have lootable gear obviously to keep the loot balance but there is nothing more immersion breaking or frustrating than shooting a scav with a baseball cap in the face and they just flinch and run off. This is one of the worst design aspects of tarkov and how BSG uses hp pools to balance the boss/AI and it kills me to see it copied in ABI. Please ask the art team to do some kind of pass even making the scavs have ghetto looking armor like something out of the game Rust to keep with the lore feel.
• Higher tier 6-7 7.62x54R does same TTK hits as lvl 5 making the cost pointless in many hours of sniping with a mosin. So basically T5 ammo costs roughly $1k. It on average will two shot body a naked and three shot a geared player with L4+ armor. Headshots are one hit kill. T6 and T7 mosin ammo again from my extensive tesing does the exact same damage counts in terms of hits. So you are paying an extra $1k per round to get the same bullet DPS. Of course yes these rounds will shine vs level6+ armor players but I do not think any ammo worth $1k+ per round should take more than two body shots for L4 armor players. There are a few exceptions to this but I have used mosin on Valley for multiple 10+ hour sessions and something is weird with the 7.62x54R T6 and T7 ammo class.
• Shoulder swap for weapons to left peek. This is an easy addition and honestly should be in any tactical FPS game that requires CQB fighting. Please add this for a huge quality of life.
• Option in player list that can be enabled so whatever team mate gets the killing blow can only loot that body who they killed locking out the rest of the team. This would greatly help with players not wanting to join random squads and get thier stuff taken after putting in the hard work of securing the kill. Not a perfect solution but would greatly help stopping thieves. Yes would players try to "last hit" to steal your loot. Sure. Would this system work 10x better than currently just watching a teammate rat your gear. Absolutely. Again make this a selecable option in the lobby so party leaders can choose and everyone wins. You don't want that option just don't enable it.
• Allow ANY keyboard key to be rebound. Many of us use custom key binds that are shred across multiple game titles and having to "relearn" the keys for this game because certain keys like ALT can not be bound to crouch for example makes the player controller feel really bad. A normal person is not going to just unlearn 15+ years of gaming keyboard binds and so every time there is a panicked firefight I naturally revert to the expected keys and it gets me killed. Super annoying and again very basic fix to allow those keys to be rebound.

My main concern right now is that these types of changes I have listed have taken tarkov YEARS to update. So what I do not want to happen is players having to camp the ABI patch notes for another 2-3 years just to get back those quality of life changes missing in this game that tarkov now has resolved. I do expect ABI to be much more efficient with the patch releases but none the less for someone who has played tarkov for many years some of these changes feel like "starting over with an old version" waiting for the same fixes that already exist in tarkov. They copied a lot of the bad design aspects of tarkov along with the good in my opinion.
At the end of the day this game is fantasic and really blends the casual and tactical mix to hit a wide audience. If you do not currently have beta access please do understand watching the game really does not do it justice. You have to play it to feel all of the small quality of life changes that make this title rival tarkov. I personally could care less if the game is copied or not. They did it better and BSG had 6 years to get thier act together. Someone like myself has been praying for this exact mix of extraction for a long time now. As long as the monetization does not impede the hardcore looting aspect AKA buying gear than I think this game will be just fine for the long run. Good luck out there!

I am a transfer student , transferring to UC’s main campus in Fall of 2024 and tried to fill out my housing application to where I was then placed on the housing waitlist. How long until I know if I’ll be offered housing ? I have already started the transfer process at my current university and will not be able to attend UC if i will not receive housing. So I (20F) have been out since I was 14. I had a girlfriend as soon as I came out but that was an entire mess and i haven’t dated a woman since. Hello, my name is Levi I’m a 28 year old male whom before July of last year was perfectly healthy! So July of last year I was at work and began to get really shaky and weak, this progressed over the next few minutes until I was white as a ghost, on the ground unable to move a muscle and being rushed to the hospital. They said I had heat exhaustion, gave me fluids and sent me home. 2-3 weeks later it happened again which cost me my job at the place I was working. Since then this has became a very serious problem. And ALOT OF OTHER THINGS ARE HAPPENING! My life has literally SHUT DOWN! I can not go anywhere anymore EVER without this being a problem. I’ve missed my sons first steps cause I am unable to go outside in the heat I’ve been on bed rest for almost a YEAR NOW! This doesn’t only happen in the heat but it seems heat is the biggest trigger. I’ve been to probably 30 doctors appointments in the last year to try to figure out WTH is going on with my body. And most of the time they are very dismissive and say I’m fine. I’m loosing weight now. Lots of other GI issues also. And the tremors! The tremors are eye catching to say the least. Let alone all the other symptoms including, vision loss lightheadedness, confusion, memory loss, ANXIETY, and loads of other craziness going on with my body. My daughter starts kindergarten in a couple months and considering her mother passed away a couple years ago I have no idea what I’m going to do about getting her to and from school. Hi, I drive a 2012 Honda Civic lx. I need to change my tires asap (all 4). I mainly drive in the city, but I also go on trips in different states (maybe 7/8 k miles per year) Searching for tires led me to two options currently. 1. BDGoodrich Advantage Control from Costco ($500) 2. Sentury touring from Discount Tires ($400).
Can you guys suggest which one to go with? Also, if there’s any other option. I need something on a low budget, but also good enough for day to day drive. Thanks.

Where I live the heat and humidity can be brutal, and this year spring is already cooking. So how chuffed was I when Outlier sent me a ramielust tank to test. For the last couple of weeks I’ve been wearing it into the ground. I wanted to really test it, so I leaned into it a bit more than I generally would. At this point it’s seen eight full days of wear (and a cpl partial), has been washed five times, slept in, worked out in, dressed up (a bit), tugged on by a small child and a small-legged dog, and is still in one piece. I know this form, in this fabric, has been highly anticipated by many (myself included) - so here’s what I’ve got:

• Quick Stats:
  • I’m 5’10” (or so) and I’ve generally considered my “true size” to be L for Outlier, but have been sizing up lately and enjoying it. I took an XL for a loosebreezier fit in Lilac Mist. I likely will stick with XL however I think I could definitely wear L and fit would still be solid.
• Fabric
  
  • Ramie is a natural fiber, it’s old and it’s bast, if you’ve never encountered it before here’s a better description than I’m going to write: https://outlier.nyc/products/ramielustIn-hand
  • In-hand, this batch of ramielust is weighty and smooth, with a dull shine that almost makes it look slightly metallic (ramie-lustrous). The feel of it is like cooled silk. It can be counterintuitive to pull on a heavier (200gsm) fabric to head out into the heat, but in practice the fiber is always pulling heat away from you, while the openness of the fabric welcomes any breeze right through. Along with the weight comes drape that isn’t typical of lighter and stiffer summer fabrics – in motion the sway of the fabric is elegant and special, especially with the cut of the garment (more on that later). The shine of the fabric does become milder following the first wash, but I didn’t notice any significant change after the second or third wash, it’s still got a light gleam to it.
  • To be honest, I’ve been looking forward to this fabric, but I didn’t expect it to feel this nice having only ever tried the very first run of ramielust some time ago – I didn’t intend to wear it four days in a row. But I kept reaching for it in part just because I wanted to feel the fabric again.
• Fit + Form
  
  • The only Outlier tank I’ve tried prior to this was the Push/Pull Tank. Compared to that cut (in the same size), the Ramielust Tank is a much looser format. The neckline falls lower, and the chest/body is cut wider – it’s a much easier, more leisurely feel, and the ramielust weight makes the additional fabric really drip down and around you in the most lovely way.
  • The cut is open and refined. As with the push/pull tank, the straps are nice and broad, which matches nicely the width of the ramielust tank in the body; it’s substantial, loose, and breezy. When I first tried the tank on pre-wash I immediately thought it was too long, bunching around my hips, but after the first wash/dry the length felt perfect; not cropped, but flowing freely around my midsection when I moved. The fabric sort of leans against you a bit, instead of giving you a full on hug. Not prone to static, just luxurious wavy folds. I really hope this cut shows up more in the future.
• Items of Interest
  
  • Color + Transparency
    • The fabric is a bit transparent, but not too much - I have a lot of contrast between my skintone and tattoos, and I wasn’t able to easily see my tattoos through the fabric unless the light was pretty direct, and then only where the fabric was flat and close to my skin. The color is crazy, similar to the other lilacs Outlier has done, but with the added touch of the slightly metallic shine of the fabric. If you’re at all inclined toward this color (in tank or other format), you should go for it.
  • Shrinkage Etc.
    • I washed on delicate and dried on medium heat (despite the care instructions pleading to dry on low heat) for all five wash/dry passes. On first wash there was ~2” of shrinkage in length, and probably 0.5”-1” of shrinkage to width. The width, I think, released out a bit with wear but the cut is roomy enough that it wasn’t especially noticeable either way. The length also stretches back out a touch, mb 0.5" or so, I think it was calibrated with shrinkage in mind, as again for me the fit was better after losing length. The fabric always tightens up a touch after dry and then relaxes out quickly with wear, which has been true of prior ramielust runs. In comparison to the push/pull tank: I measured 24” across the ramielust tank after first wash/dry, and measured 20” across the push/pull tank which has taken the same wash/dry treatment. Length is similar btwn the two, with ramielust tank being about 1” shorter after wash.
  • Hand Feel vs. Prior Runs
    • The only other ramielust I’ve had was from the very first run, and I found it effective at dealing with heat but generally rough and a bit unfortunate in terms of texture. This ramielust is very different. I think it was described as “buttery” on live and that’s apt af. If you tried ramielust before and found it rough, you may be pleasantly surprised by how soft and welcoming this run is.
  • Twist
    • I mean, it exists. It’s not bad, but if you look for it, yea it’s there. If you’ve had ramielust before, it’s pretty much the same thing, either a dealbreaker for you or not. Twist has bothered me in the past but with the looseness and flow of this cut, you really have to be looking for it to notice it.
  • Durability
    • Not really a selling point for this fabric, but I was pleasantly surprised by how little battle damage I could find after multiple days of non-delicate wear. I found the fabric stretched out across the day a bit but with a wash/dry snapped back to regular form. I did find one small snag on the fabric, not sure where it came from (dogs).
  • Pet Hair
    • The secret metric for all Outlier fabrics: To what extent does it hold onto pet hair (or lint or whatever) - pleased to report that pet hair comes off of this fabric with little (relative) effort. Take the shirt off, give it a proper shake and a whip, and most of the fur will fall away.
  • Random Thoughts/Scenarios
    • Wearing under injex overshirts, I noticed that my skin was cooler where it was touching ramie vs. where it was touching injex
    • Wearing directly under a rain shell, same thing, felt much cooler where ramielust was touching me vs. the goretex-ish material (no surprise there)
    • Wearing as part of a semi-formal outfit works, I think, because of the very apparent quality of the fabric - both color and luster help give it an “elevated” look that can be pretty well dressed up, and Lilac Mist is nice against black.
    • Works pretty well as a workout shirt (especially in a small, hot garage with no airflow), handles sweat great, is still soft against the skin even with moisture in the mix; I did drag it against knurling a few times and didn’t find any abrasion damage. Not a replacement for a dedicated exercise shirt and isn’t meant to be, but in a hot and humid environment it’ll do the trick.
    • I did have a tiny hand, at one point, tug abruptly on a handful of the fabric, which caused an area to stretch out and bag slightly; a wash and dry snapped it back to normal
• My Feelings
  
  • In the end, my feelings are that this form is the highest and best use for the ramielust fabric (yet). This tank makes me feel protected and unrestricted out in the heat. It keeps me comfortable, it’s easy. I have to look for reasons not to wear it, and I’m running out of them.

I just finished a meditation session and I am wondering if you could help me figure out what the vision(s) mean. Note: I am aware that it is up to me to interpret as it is different with every person I am just looking for a external point of view.
The moment I started the temple automatically formed as the gods eagerly awaited me. Before I could ask anything I felt the a flap of wings behind me and the hand of Freyja. I felt the presence of every god and goddess in the room. I asked to see what is to come. As my fate is not my own and I am a mere reader of it. The gods showed a vision of me in a tank in a field looking down the sights and firing soon after the glorious Valkyries came and took me with no time wasted. I then saw myself amongst those in Valhalla feasting at a table. And not the tables of our brethren but the table of the Gods next to Odin himself. I also asked when the cycle of me messing up will stop and they showed a vision of me currently meditating. As I finished my meditation the statues of Odin, Freyja and Thor that I had emplaced at a specific location where moved closer to me. I then looked at myself in the mirror and I saw myself in a different light. I was surrounded by Valkyries with a raven on my shoulder with runic markings and Viking paint on my face. Then I heard a voice say 'Glory to the Aesir, Glory to the drengr of Ragnarök!' before it all faded and I returned to my normal state.
I know the gods are near me at all times as I see ravens everyday each deviating from their path to follow my direction of travel. As well as I had one land on my shoulder and look at me. I extended my arm and it jumped to my arm. Its talons in my arm yet not painful. In the distance I could see Odin looking in my direction and smiling at me.
I have a feeling that this vision is tied to what the gods have taught me in the past. They had mentioned and showed me a unspoken goddess named Ylva Odinsdottir. And in visions where I stood in Valhalla I was in the body of that goddess. As if they were telling me I am that unspoken goddess(for more context look at the other posts I have made).
I have really gotten into Assassin's creed Valhalla recently and despite it not being fully Historically accurate I have a feeling of strong connection to Eivor. As if I am watching myself. Some of the visions I am shown correlate a lot to what I see in the game. I believe the gods are trying to show me the truth of who I am not only in celestial realms but here on Midgard and what purpose I serve down here. Also another thing that correlates to the game is how the gods talk to me during the day. Time freezes and I get taken to a darken place with all that are around with Odin, and Freyja walking around talking to me about things. I notice that I am no longer in my Midgard form but rather in celestial form during these talks. Once they have said what they needed to time would restart and continue as if nothing happened during that time.
I appreciate any who answer and give their view on what I shared. I will take any opinions on what I said into consideration in the meaning of the vision and what the gods have shown.

Anyone know how to have a consistent sleep schedule. Ever since covid lockdown (also sometimes prior during like summer vacations between school semesters), my sleep schedule would be erratic and would sleep inconsistently.
Before i became a full out neet, i remember having sort of a ritual before I would get to bed: I would light up a scented candle ~2 hours before I planned to sleep, and also have a cup of warm chamomile tea. Before I got to bed I would brush my teeth and wash my face while listening to a relaxing playlist that I only listened to before bed. After all that was lights out, I would put my legs up in a 90° L-position on the wall while im in bed which was relaxing. It’s a yoga pose that I would hold for about 10-15 minutes and it feels really nice. After those 10-15 minutes was *supposed* sleepy time.
After all that ritualistic esque planning before I got to bed, BOOM, I CANT SLEEP. I did that ritual before bed for about 1-2 months yet I was struggling to sleep.
Actually the whole boiling point of me full out becoming a neet and dropping out of school was me trying to sleep for several hours tossing in bed and turning but absolutely couldn’t on a 4:30am Monday morning, and had class 3 hours later. That drove me fucking insane that morning, which turned me into a neet because i CANNOT function without sleep. Of course there were probably also other factors that drove me into a deep depression, but just not getting enough sleep was the thing that tipped me over the edge.
I’ve haven’t been to school for 7 months now (still don’t plan to go back) but i at least want to get my life back together at least a little. How the fuck do i tell my body to sleep when I want to? It’s ridiculous. I remember getting to bed at 9pm but didn’t actually get to sleep by like 2am. I’ve ignored my sleep schedule for 7 months now so my circadian rhythm is absolutely fucked since i sleep and wake up whenever i want

I’ve never talked to a medium or hypnotist before today but I had been waiting for today forever to get some answers. I haven’t been myself for at least a couple years and I knew negative energy and my blocked chakras from trauma were holding me back from my best self so I scheduled a hypnotherapy session today. I didn’t know she was also a medium before today’s session! I was so excited because I not only got hypnotherapy, but I could also be open with her about these demonic beings I’ve been seeing and feeling for years. I struggle with alcoholism and the thing about being under any substance is you open your body for entities to come in. I have been drinking for years and when I was roofied last year and got a concussion, she said there was a man who had been attached to me since. She separated him from me and helped him cross over. She said there are also two entities from my past life in my home she wants to work on next. Now this all may sound crazy to people who haven’t experienced anything paranormal but this woman told me things nobody would know. Her and I also both got chills at the same time. I probably got chills 10x today. She said I would feel tired afterwards and I doubted that as I had planned to go to the gym. Once we were done I fell asleep in a nice nap. I felt lighter, the world seems brighter. Has anyone else experienced any of this?

I’ve been EP for almost 6 weeks now. The first month was SO painful, I realized I had the wrong flange size and have since bought the correct size but now I’m having different problems. Does anyone else get irrationally angry while pumping? I feel so awful for my fiancé, but whenever I’m pumping I am just SO angry. I know I’m being ridiculous but I just can not control my anger and it’s literally only when I’m pumping. I also literally hate pumping, I know it’s great for my baby and everything but it is so uncomfortable. I hate feeling alike I have any milk in me, I can not go to sleep unless I’ve freshly pumped and if I wake up I have to pump after, even if it’s only been 20 minutes. It’s almost impossible for me to get comfortable as well, my nipples are so sensitive. Like just breathing I can feel them rubbing and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. I’m not sure if I need a smaller flange size for my right breast but that nipple is insanely sensitive and it’s also much more swollen than my left after pumping. I pump for the same amount of time and with the same suction for both. I’m also freezing always and any type of cold weather makes my nipples hurt. Where I live it’s starting to get warm, I can feel that my body is warm but I physically have the shivers quite often. I just walk around feeling extremely uncomfortable 99% of the time, I love that I’m able to supply my baby with some breast milk but I just hate feeling this angry and unbearably uncomfortable all the time. Just hoping someone here is going through something similar or has some insight into why I’m feeling this way.
I’m also going for my 6 week appointment in two days and I plan on bringing this up with my OB. Also my baby is still in the NICU so they heavily advise that “breast is best”, even though my baby has to have 27 calorie fortified breast milk. Which 27 calories is the most extra calorie they do at this specific hospital.

The apothecary spent the first few months tending to wounded Space Marines, starting their garden aboard the ship, and learning as much as they could in order to stay in the good graces of the Lady who took them in. They had learned that she was Mortarion, Primarch and daughter of the God Emperor of Mankind. They knew little of the Emperor of Mankind, and he focused on more practical medical research than learning more about their commander’s father.
Mortarion had kept a watchful eye on the apothecary she had brought on board. She half expected her sons to rip the psyker to shreds, or for the young apothecary to be overwhelmed by the number of wounded and dying. However, they had thrown himself at his work, spending time working on caring for her sons and learning. Most surprising was that the apothecary had created a garden inside the apothecary chamber, and Mortarion was starting to think the chamber smelled .... good? Pleasant? She could not be sure, but she was sure that she had made a good decision. Her sons seemed to have even accepted the psyker into their ranks, at least enough that they wouldn't immediately kill them. Typhus however did not seem quite as accepting of the apothecary, and Mortarion couldn’t quite blame him.
The apothecary kept working and working. They could feel that their psyker powers were getting stronger, and their control over them growing. They could heal the massive sons of his master quickly, knowing now how to best heal them but also how to best control their healing psyker powers. As they improved his apothecary skills and their psyker powers, they worked diligently on their garden, adding new plants and keeping the garden beautiful. Typhus watched on from a distance, sometimes while he was checking on his brothers, sometimes just to keep an eye on the psyker. He did not trust the apothecary, no matter how much his mother said that their skills were of great use, and they were badly needed at all times.
Mortarion started spending more and more time in the apothecary chamber. She said it was to look after her sons, but Mortarion knew part of her just wanted to enjoy the smell of the flowers. She wanted to smell something else, something other than the gas and the haze. Of course she never took her mask off, but what bit of pleasant aroma she got, she would take. Typhus could see this. He could see what he considered to be the slow corruption of his mother by someone by a psyker, even if they were from his home planet. It didn’t matter. He would have to confront his mother, or take action on his own. As he plotted, far distant bile filled laughter could be heard, the father was watching and waiting.
They could see their master spending more time in the apothecary chamber. One day they walked up to their master, “Do you have any wounds that need tending M’lady?” They held a series of flowers and herbs in their hands that they had been working with before they went to check on Mortarion.
Mortarion wasn’t sure what to say but thought it would be best to say something. “I am alright apothecary thank you…” Mortarion didn’t know what came over her, but she hoped that no one heard what she said.
They couldn’t quite hear the last parts, but they were at least comforted that their master was unhurt. They returned to their apothecary work, creating substances, tending to their plants, and the Space Marines.
Typhus looked on ever longer in disgust. Upon Mortarion’s exit from the apothecary, he approached her with the intent to confront her. “Mother, is it truly necessary to keep the psyker on the ship, I care not if he is skilled, he will surely cause the corru….”
“Typus, I will not tolerate such thoughts. The apothecary is within the rights and is well supervised. They will bring no harm to your brothers, I assure you. Now, if there is nothing else, I have other matters to attend to.” Mortarion walked off to take on other duties, leaving Typhus in a building fury. He would not tolerate the desecration of their mother; he would have to get rid of the plants. That would surely drive a wedge between Mortarion and the apothecary.
The apothecary had the nightmare again, the four voices laughing, and the smell of bile.They can also see their garden withered and dying, the smell of decay in their nostrils. They wake up in a shock, hurrying to check on their garden. They found that their vision had come true, and that they were too late. Mortarion came in shortly after, seeing the apothecary on their knees trying to find something in the field of decay. Mortarion called out to them, “Apothecary, what has happened?” Mortarion moved to their side, laying a hand on their shoulder. “Apothecary, what has happened” she said again, but quieter, calmer; maybe even caring.
The apothecary turns to Mortarion, eyes wet with tears, hands and knees covered in dirt, grime and withered plant parts. “My plants. They're gone. They’re all gone….”
Mortarion did not know how to comfort the apothecary, they had no knowledge of care or concern. However, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a lily, growing alone in the field of decay. She was going to grab it, but seeing the grim on her hands, she avoided touching the little flower that was left. “It seems a lily still remains. I know of a safer place if you wish to take it elsewhere.”
The apothecary looked up, gently cupping the lily in their hands. “Thank you, M’Lady.” They dug the lily carefully out of the ground, placing it into a pot near their workstation. “I am ready to transport it, M'Lady. Please, lead the way.” The apothecary said, dried tears caking their face.
Mortarion led the apothecary to her personal quarters, gesturing to an empty space on the far side of the room. “You can use this as your garden. No one will hurt your plants here.”
The apothecary was both shocked and appreciative at the opportunity. They gently laid the pot into space, taking care to keep it safe. Mortarion thought perhaps she would do her best to ease the pains of the apothecary, her lily. “I’ll leave you to your work.” She said, calmly, not her usual aggressive or brooding manner. She exited her room, leaving her lily alone to care for her flower.
As soon as she was out of line of sight, her face twisted in hatred as she went searching for Typhus. Once she found him, she picked him up, holding him by his neck. “What did you do to the apothecary’s garden!? Tell me Typhus!”
Typhus laughed maniacally in Mortarion’s face; his face twisted with an evil she had not seen from her sons. “You care too much for that psyker. Have you forgotten what those sorcerers did, did you forget mother? Have you forgotten you are?”
Mortarion squeezed his neck tighter, her hatred burning in her chest. “You know better than to talk to me like that.” She could see the mark of Chaos upon her son, and she took her scythe in free hand. “You are no longer a son of mine; your corruption will end with you. Goodbye traitor.” She cut off his head with her scythe, carrying his body to the airlock, where she jettisoned the body of what was once her son.
Mortarion went to join her lily in her room, joining her apothecary in the making of their garden. She hoped it would calm her down, she hoped that she could smell that sweet smell again, she hoped that she could show her traitor son that he was wrong. She would show him that he was wrong, even if she had no idea how to garden.
