So I’ve had my 99 tl for about two years now and I don’t know how to switch heat from ac. My dad told me there is a switch somewhere in my car that you have to manually switch over the seasons for ac and heat, but I have no idea where it is. My ac will switch on for about 30 seconds and then I’ll hear a pop and it’s back to heat. Does anyone know where the switch is or is it an actual problem with the heat and ac?

Hi all. I help run a small family-owned business, currently with around 50 employees. The employee count sometimes goes to 100, since we have seasonal employees that aren't always around.
Right now we're using a very barebones timeclock that simply shows the dates and times that employees punch. It isn't able to differentiate between time in and time out, which makes it a pain in the butt since we have to manually identify them in excel. I'm looking for a more robust time-clock machine/kiosk that can help keep track of employee working hours. This will make it easier for our payroll team to help calculate wages at the end of each pay period.
Required features:

• Needs to be a physical machine or kiosk that employees can go to and do their punches. I know a lot of modern time-tracking services are online and use your phone or something, but many of our employees are older or are not tech-savvy, and so this is the easiest way for them.
  
• Some kind of internet connection that lets me access the machine and its records remotely from anywhere, preferably through a web UI and not a phone.
  
• Fingerprint and RFID card punching. Some of our employees prefer doing fingerprint, so we give them the choice. Right now all of our employees have 125kHz RFID access cards, so ideally we'd want to use them for the timeclock machine too and not have them retain two separate cards.
  
• Be able to automatically calculate the amount of time worked for each employee.
  
• Be able to track employees who punch more than twice a day.
  
• Be able to differentiate between in and out punches. For example, we have some employees who leave in the middle of the day to run personal non-work related errands. When they punch, I want the machine to be able to know which punch is them leaving, and which one is them coming back, and be able to calculate their hours.
  
• Be able to set a time offset for breaks and lunch. For example, lunch is 30 minutes, so ideally the machine knows to automatically subtract 30 minutes from the total recorded time for each employee each day.
  
• Be able to export time records and attendance reports in excel format, preferably CSV.
  

Bonus features that are nice to have but aren't required

• Be able to identify late/tardy punches. Allow us to set a custom grace period, after which a punch is considered tardy.
  
• Be able to identify duplicate punches. Sometimes accidents happen and employees will double-punch. Currently I have to manually identify these and delete them myself. It'd be nice if there was a way to set a grace period of a certain time interval so that an accidental second punch doesn't get recorded.
  
• Would really love one that doesn't require a subscription. If we really have to though, we can accept paying a subscription.
  

Ultimately, I'm just trying to make things easier for our payroll team when they need to calculate payroll. Ideally, I would like to just give them a list of all employees and the amount of time they worked during the pay period, and that's really it.

If you're using a UXG, and you have a softphone or potentially even use certain VoIP systems, you're likely going to run into issues with calls dropping after a certain period of time.
at some point along the way, Unifi changed the value of the following string from 300 to 30
sysctl -w net.netfilter.nf_conntrack_tcp_timeout_unacknowledged=30
If your latency to your VoIP server exceeds 30ms, you're call is basically going to get dropped.
I manually fixed this once before in mine, however with the new update it rolled the setting back again and I had to re-apply this AM.
Pretty sure this isn't an official channel, but hoping someone gets visibility on this so they'll force the change. Other users have reported the same issue in the past with no change from Ubiquiti

I’m writing this review in the hopes that someone else doesn’t get ripped off like I have
I purchased the Michael Phelps Chilly Goat Cold Plunge in December and took delivery early January.
Normally I only buy products with great reviews and from vendors with great reputations for customer service and product support.
For some reason I ignored all of this when making this purchase. I couldn’t (and still can’t) find a single review from someone whose actually purchased this product. However, I figured if Michael Phelps and Master Spa were going to put their names on it, then it MUST be a good product. Unfortunately that assumption was very wrong, and here’s my honest review.
Upon receipt of the cold plunge, I unwrapped it and got it placed in my garage. Atheistically, the tub is gorgeous. I was extremely happy with the way it looked.
However, once I started unwrapping the components such as the cover, thermostat, filter cover and the covers around the base of the unit, I got the immediate impression that it was all super cheap, bottom of the barrel components. Everything except the white tub itself is extremely flimsy, and cheap. Definitely not what I was expecting from a $9000 cold plunge.
Regardless, I got everything ready so we could get it running once I had the new 20 amp circuit installed. For some reason, in the setup manual it tells you to make sure to wire in a GFCI outlet (even though the plunge whip has a built in GFCI in it already). I had a feeling these two would trip each other out, but I followed the instructions in the manual.
It powered on fine and started working towards getting the water down to the 40 degrees. I then hooked it up to the App (which is a generic app that’s used by many companies selling generic pumps). I tried setting it up to automatically cycle off for most of the day, and cycle on a couple hours before I would be using it.
The next morning I went into the garage to see if it worked.
It didn’t.
The power was off due to the GFCI tripping (just as I thought it would). I reviewed the manual again and it explicitly states that I only use a GFCI, so I powered it back on and tried again. It eventually tripped again, so I contacted support.
This was my first contact with support and the rep “Paul” was helpful. He advised me to try removing the GFCI and replace with a regular outlet. So I did and it worked perfectly. No more tripping the breaker and shutting off.
So now I tried setting the schedule again, and to my delight the cold plunge was at 40 degrees the next morning.
However, what I realized was that it wasn't cycling on or off. It was just staying on the entire time, despite any scheduling I put into the app.
The only way to control the tub (by the way) is by removing the tub skirting and using a small rectangular circuit board that has 4 buttons. Up, down, mode and power. So there’s no way to schedule or do anything with the unit other than turn it off/on, turn the temp up or down, or switch to hot or cold mode. So it looks like scheduling (an advertised feature) wasn’t actually available.
Fast forward a couple months and the cold plunge is working great. It runs 24/7, but it keeps the water right at 40 degrees. I decided I’d like to try the hot side now, so I opened up the app, made sure the mode was on Auto and turned it up to its max.
Now their marketing and manual said that it would be able to get up to temp in a few hours. So I started a timer and watched it. I started it at 5:00 p.m and by 7:30 p.m it went from 40 to 46ish. Definitely not what I was expecting.
So I went to bed, expecting it to be at 104 when I woke up. Fast forward to 8:30 a.m and the tub is only at 73 degrees. At this point I knew for a fact that something was wrong with the unit. So I took a video and added it to my dropbox folder to show support.
I continued to wait and by 11:00 the unit reached 90 degrees. And then at 11:40, it stopped warming up and threw off the error code E20. So I snapped my pictures, added it to the drive and then went into the manual to see what to do about this code.
I then followed the instructions, and reset the machine. It started working again and was able to get to 100 degrees by 12:30 (target temp was 104). However, once it hit this, the machine errored again and threw out E21.
Back to the instruction manual I went, and it said to basically just reset it. So I did, but this time the error code wouldn’t go away. And then the temperature slowly started dropping as I couldn’t get rid of the error code.
Eventually I unplugged the unit and reached out to Paul again. This time he wasn’t as helpful. I sent him the link with all of the videos/photos, but we never really got anywhere until I started getting angry and pressing to return the unit.
At this point he sends me two maintenance companies in my area with their phone numbers (and presented it to me as if it was my responsibility to call them and I would be in charge of paying for it).
This was the last straw for me. I drained the tub and asked to be refunded and return the unit. I’ve been denied over and over, with them citing a 30 day return period. However, my stance on this is that the unit hasn’t worked correctly since the day I bought it. I’ve lost all confidence that this unit will stay in good working condition over a long period of time
Things stalled out from there, so I cooled off and decided to try to get the unit working again. I filled it back up and simply tried to turn it on. Now I’m getting hit with error code E03. I followed the troubleshooting in the manual and it didn’t work (of course).
And now I’m at the end of my wits with this piece of junk.
To anyone considering buying a Michael Phelps Gilly Goat by Master Spa, please heed my warning. Do not.

All of the components on this thing are very cheap quality. I have the feeling a large % of our purchase price is going for the rights to use Michael Phelps name, not in getting a quality product.
This unit is in a climate controlled garage. Not exposed to any elements. Yet it took it 18~ hours to go from 40 degrees to 100 degrees (and potentially burned itself out by doing it). The motor doesn’t work at all ever since making that switch. I can’t imagine what it’d do if you actually placed it outside in the elements. There’s no way all of the lines wouldn’t immediately freeze and burst if you did so in the winter.

Scenario: 30 users, AD properties Profile Path set to \\Fileserver\Users$\username, no GPO defined to manage folder redirection. End goal is to move user data to OneDrive.
I've read a number of articles but they all reference having a pre-existing GPO that can be reverted to copy user data back locally and then use another GPO to sync local data to OneDrive. There is no GPO for this customer managing folder redirection. The previous system administrators have simply manually typed in the \\Fileserver\Users$\username into the profile tab->Profile path. Rooms

• Creatable after selecting quest difficulty.
• Consist of two players.
• May be open for public or protected by filters (Friends and/or Alliance) or a password.
• Also joinable through search, auto matching or pick one of the given list displayed after selecting a difficulty.
• List may also be updated.
• After joining, guest player must press "Ready", so that the host player may start the quest.

Stages

• After taking your turn, next turn goes to partner.
• Only current player gets debuffs from enemy.
• By using new mechanic "SKIP", you can change current player WITHOUT triggering next turn.
• SKIP can't be used twice in a row.
• Stages 3 - 6 consist of mini bosses and one boss in the final stage.
• The mini bosses always do the same actions.
• The boss may be one of many, each haveing their own behaviour.

TIPS

• In contract to bosses, behaviours of mini bosses aren't noted in the quest guides, so find a way to remember them.
• Luck is also attained through a 6* RR dupe (+2), a RR 5* dupe (+1) and for every fifth LvL (+1).

Hi, first post here on rstats for me.
I'm trying to fit a line between two coordinates (x = 0, y = 50 and x = 30, y = 0).
A simple linear interpolation can be simulated as
data.frame(x = c(1:30), y = seq(from = 50, to = 0, length.out = 30))
Now I wish to simulate a relationship that is non-linear, e.g. one that slightly increases initially while decreasing exponentially, as well as one that decreases exponentially initially and thereafter flattens. Importantly, both lines need to end at (x = 30, y = 0).
Is there any good way of doing this? I thought about simply manually adding the data points and fitting a loess curve, but I would like this to be less manual, preferably using two separate functions. Many thanks in advance!

My garage door opener is a Chamberlain with a learn button and I have the new 2024 bz4x limited with the homelink buttons under the rearview mirror. I tried following the steps in the manual - press learn button, within 30 secs, press-hold 2 sec-and release a homelink button (3x times). I did that so many times. It always just blinks ambeorange each time I press and hold. Never green like shown in this video: https://youtu.be/PUTG5O1SJkg?si=3HqdVzH4u5p3GnpC
I even tried clearing out the homelink first by pressing and holding the 1 and 3 buttons for several seconds.
Nothing works. I’m so frustrated. It’s so easy on my Subaru -- press learn button, press and hold the homelink button until it flashes green and you’re done. Why is this so difficult on the Toyota? Why press-hold 2 sec-release and do it 3 times? Ugh.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hey guys, I have a 2006 Mazda 6S (duratec v6) with 150k miles that’s been very well maintained. I’m quite knowledgeable regarding mechanics but I just thought I’d get others opinions as I haven’t been able to figure this one out.
About 30-50% of the time my car feels very down on torque at low RPM only with light throttle (under 3K RPM) Once it gets past about 3K rpm the correct power fills in. It doesn’t misfire or anything, it just has very little torque at low rpm. This issue happened quite suddenly and it almost feels identical to how my car ran when the fuel pump was dying, so I replaced my fuel pump again with another one. It actually does seem slightly better, but still not fixed.
For example sometimes I’ll be cruising (1200-1800 RPM) and I’ll try to just barely accelerate, not enough to down shift, but enough to increase my speed gradually, however there’s very little power, so after a second my car realizes this and is forced to down shift when it shouldn’t have to. Other times the cars power feels normal or almost normal (can’t remember exactly what normal is anymore haha) For another example the more throttle I give it off the line the less likely it will incur the issue, but if I start off with light throttle and then right away increase the throttle it will be slow until it gets to 3-4K RPM. If I just flat out floor it off the line it seems to have full power (torque converter is helping avoid low rpm in that situation) It’s mainly only light throttle and low rpm. While driving any amount of throttle above 30-40% causes it to down shift which raises the RPM so the issue doesn’t really occur then. Although I just realized I could manually shift it and give it more throttle in a higher gear and see if it still does it. Not sure if that would help figure out the issue though.
I feel like the car is running lean at low RPM. In fact over the last 1k miles the check engine light did pop on very briefly and if I remember right it did say cylinder bank 1 lean off idle.
So I think the two most likely causes would either be a fuel delivery problem (doesn’t seem likely unless there’s a clog somewhere?) or there’s a vacuum leak (I checked but I don’t have a fog machine) Of course it could be something else entirely.
The spark plugs, coils, alternator, and battery are all less than 1,000 miles old, but the fact the code had only indicated 1 bank of cylinders pretty much rules that out anyway.
This car doesn’t have any other fuel filter other than the one at the bottom of the pickup tube that’s part of the fuel pump, right?
I have a $350 Autel obd2 scanner that can read live data if that’s helpful. Never used that feature before. Anyway, any suggestions?

I found a 2014 Nissan Leaf S with 48k miles and 10/12 battery life bars. It's currently listed for $7600 by a private party which I believe is too much, but I'll negotiate it when the time comes.
I drive 30 miles roundtrip for work everyday (95% of it is highway) and I live in the deep south so I'll be using A/C the majority of the time while going highway speeds. I'm wondering if this is a good option of a car or is it too risky for it's range. The trade in value according to Carvana/CarMax is $600 (lol) so if I purchase it I need to be sure it sustains my needs to commute to work because it seems like there is no sense in trading it in for something else.
I've never owned an electric car so I'm certainly not sure if the "78 miles" on a full charge truly means it or if it drains faster than the range suggests for being 10 years old or what. I don't know anyone irl who knows much about electric cars so I'm hoping y'all could point me in the right direction. Thank you!

We have an EV9 LLR with almost 7k miles on it. Have mostly loved it but twice now had it act a little weird. After an hour long drive I arrive home, park and turn off the vehicle. Plug it in so it'll charge overnight (set to a timer on the charger to start at 10pm). I walk by the car 30 minutes later and notice that the orange light/sensor on top of the dash is lit up, the AC is blowing full blast, and the red battery warning light is on. I get the key, turn on the car, manually turn off the AC then turn off the car. Twice now in the last month this same series of events has happened.
Any ideas? I'm not accidentally leaving it going in Utility mode, the car is turned off. I thought at first maybe it's cooling the battery off after driving for an hour or something but even that makes no sense. Somehow the climate control remains active after the car is turned off, which I think is using the 12v battery thus the orange dash top light and battery warning indicator. Needless to say I don't want to have to manually turn off climate every time I park the car and REALLY don't want to run down the 12v. Thanks for any theories.

I have produced a live excel spreadsheet hosted on SharePoint for a department in my workplace that is used by around 30 other people. They use it to input data into various tabs that is subsequently pulled into one master tab to provide overall figures.
However, the master tab keeps showing '0' and not updating to reflect the correct overall figures in the tabs. I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot this, changing formulas (that were already correct) and it subsequently updates only to not show up again later. Some of the data in another tab that relies on formulas to pull through data from that same tab is also disappearing and resetting to 0 so I'm wondering if it's a problem with formulas and SharePoint?
The data is set to automatically update/refresh (not set to manual) so it's not that.
Please help as it is driving me insane and taking up so much of my time.
