Hey all, I picked up this knife last year from Best Made Co. for $150 thinking I'd use it quite a lot more than I do. It's made in Solingen, Germany by a knife maker called Hubertus. I'd like to sell it for $120 including shipping. It's a beautiful knife, but sort of overkill for the hiking and backpacking I do. As far as I know, it is only sold in the US by Best Made Co., It has a sturdy brown leather holster as well. It's basically new, only used it a couple of times. If you're interested, I can send some more photos.

- SAK #1 (D) (I am 3rd owner, there is a crack in the plastic on one end, I actually downgraded this - was originally sold as B, but the cracked plastic is definitely present)

- Snap-On (B-) (Finish has some paint rub on the sharper edges of the handle - Got this in a bundle, I know nothing about this knife. - Solingen Auto Clone (B) - (This is a clone of the oldschool automatic Solingen Hubertus German knives. It is a brand new clone - originally sold as not working, the mechanism seemed to have just been jammed and needed some added force. Have opened and closed more than a dozen times, no hang ups.
- Brass Bottle Opener (A) (Second Owner, never used. Real brass.) Considered keeping this, but decided to pick up a multi tool for my EDC.
- Lanyard (A) (550 Paracord, never used)

Hi everyone,
I inherited this knife from my Grandfather a few years ago, and just had the notion to go check it out as I had put it away in a cabinet.
I was thinking about starting to use it this spring when I am outside doing work but I am not sure if it will get ruined or not... I dont want it to just sit there gathering dust I think my grandfather would want me to use it... so I figured that I should use it somehow... that is unless this has value...I dont want to ruin it.
I am wondering if someone can give me any information on it, what kind of knife it is etc. It is relatively old I know...
It says HUBERTUS Solingen on the outside and that is all I know...
Also there apppears to be a black mark starting at the very tip of the knife any clues as to what it could be? Sorry for the potato quality my phone camera is not the best... I was going to crop it but it is on a standard sized pillow for size comparison.
Any info will be appreciated.
