Hey all, these are some nice cameras that have served me well, but unfortunately they don’t fit well into my workflow or I have other cameras that I prefer. So its past due to get rid of them.
Fuji GFX 50r Kit Includes-
Camera Body- I’d say this is in what I’d call pretty dang good condition. Only issue is a small scratch on the lower left of the lcd. I included a photo in the Timestamp to highlight this. Other than that there’s some very very small nicks around the hotshoe and on the bottom of the camera from normal use. Comes with body cap. Shutter count is under 2k.
Two native Fuji batteries + charger
Two different thumbgrips
ViltroxEF-GFX adapter with autofocus capability
Fringr Nikon F Mount-GFX adapter (I’ve got some f Mount glass I’ll be putting up for sale here soon, if you’re interested let me know)
TTartisans M Mount-GFX adapter
Includes original box, and I’ve got some original boxes for some of the accessories too.

FM2N- This camera is in great condition. It was just CLA'd earlier this year by United Camera in Rock Island, Illinois. They replaced the seals, adjusted some of the slow shutter speeds, and repaired the meter, as well as general CLA work. (The meter always worked but it would only shut off by timing out) This camera is ready to rip and should be good for years to come. No major flaws, has some light (yet aesthetically pleasing imo) brassing. The only thing to really note is that it doesn't have any protection over the viewfinder. So if you're a glasses wearer you should buy one of the rubber rings or eyecups. Im pretty sure B&H have them available for like $25.
Price- $350
AI Converted Nikkor 24mm f2.8- I love this lens. Probably my favorite Nikkor ive owned. But it is old. Definitely shows some wear and tear on the body. There is some dust and one larger piece of dust in one of the rear elements that is shown in the photos. I tested it on my gfx 50R and could not find any trace of it in the images. Included two images in the link taken with it.
Price-$50 or $25 with purchase of either of the cameras above.

OK, so I’m looking at getting a VR headset with a 360° treadmill. My goal is to have the whitest flexibility in the games I’m able to play, but mostly I want to play things like Skyrim and fallout 4.
Large world, lots of exploration, and I intend to play with fast travel, turned off.
which makes the most sense for me to get?
Which headset and controls? Which treadmill? Do I need a separate gaming PC, or does it just work with an external hard drive?
I think I wanna play mostly on steam, and I’m also open to getting a router if that’s the best way to play wirelessly to whatever the PC is.
I’ve been looking for some thing that would explain how to get into this, but I don’t see a lot of reviews or anything that seems to help with the hardware side of things.

For real though.... I obviously don't have this issue with gx on my laptop, but on android, there's a simple 'close' button that closes all tabs and it's so easy to hit on accident. There's no "Are you sure you want to close all tabs!?" warning pop up either, which is yet another severe oversight, especially since one can't pin/lock their tabs.
It's as simple as press-holding the tab in question, popup offers to 'lock/unlock tab' and bam. Tab is locked/unlocked. How has not a single dev done this? Sigh.

Howdy! I’m looking for 1 player for a DnD 5e campaign that’s going to be taking place every other Saturday at 4:30pm pst. We play on Foundry, no need to have it all you need is a link, and we’re starting at level 1 so players of all experiences are welcome.
An overview of the campaign setting:
Tamrashyyk is run by House Balaur, a family known to be the descendants of the first ever Dragonborn created. They’ve long since been holed up in their keep, deep within the northern territories of the country neglecting all but their nearest townships. Unfortunately for the outlying towns and villages, the Radiant Rats are the power that control the roads and provide for those that can afford it. Most cannot. The Rats set up many different checkpoints under the guise of protecting those in their lands. Due to the dangers of such a job, they’ve imposed taxes on towns and villages, as well as implementing steep tolls for those that wish to travel safely by land, allowing the Rats to operate efficiently.
Once a home to many dragons in need of slaying, three prominent families made names for themselves as powerful mainstays of the land. The Charont, The Rafelle, The Zygonian. With Dragon’s extinct after the Sibling War, these families took their power and tried to change with the world. The Charont and the Zygonian were the largest of the families, most turned to mercenary work, but with the Rats taking over work couldn’t be afforded. Some wound up joining the Rats as enforcers, others took what money they had left and turned it into drink. The Rafelle turned to more charitable and experimental works. They run a large orphanage and spearhead research into being blood hunters, hunting for the sake of the world.
Clouds magically block the sun from appearing during the day, parting at night to reveal the illumination of both the moons. This is one of the many reasons that makes Tamrashyyk a refuge for those that would otherwise never have called this place home. A safe haven for the not so safe, a reprieve from the sunlight brings in the kinds of creatures that wouldn’t thrive anywhere else. The lack of any governing power brings in those that would find themselves fleeing from persecution or seeking to do something most laws would normally prevent. Rogue wizards, criminals, and even those brimming with the hope of adventure find themselves at Bistanwall, the village at the outskirts of Tamrashyyk, seeking to find themselves further in.
Tamrashyyk is a land of danger, escaped experiments, creatures that dwell best in darkness, criminals, rogue wizards, and so much more. For many, that keeps them out, for a few, that welcomes them in. Welcome to Tamrashyyk.
This campaign is going to be a more sandbox style adventure where you chose what it is you want to do in a place ripe with different hooks to catch your attention. With over arching hooks that will make for grand adventures, great stakes, and greater loot.
I’ll also work with you to make sure your character feels like a real character in the world with a story that won’t just be forgotten for what lies ahead. :)
The campaign is going to take inspiration from Castlevania, The Witcher games, Dragon Age, Full Metal Alchemist, Mass Effect, and Star Wars! (it will still be fantasy, don’t worry) Plus more, I’m sure I’m forgetting something, and I get inspired by whatever I’m reading/watching/playing at the time anyway.
Player Requirements: Looking for players who are at least 21 and can consistently make the session. Foundry can be a bit heavy resource wise, so a desktop may be helpful. We play through discord so a decent mic is preferred. You don’t need to have TTRPG experience, I’ve worked plenty with players that have no experience and am well versed to bringing new players up to speed.

I’m very exciting to return to Soft Punk for a round 2 after my first pleasant experience. In my box were a very generous amount of gift candies. Borax is a free optional extra but I didn’t order any. Good on Soft Punk for that, I’m ashamed to say I have started to toss sachets of borax as I’m drowning in the stuff! It makes a lot of sense to make it an optional extra to save a store some money in the instance that the purchaser doesn't need it. I thought the theme/pun in the name of this slime was a lot of fun (the sprinkles are little game controllers.) The base was a little sticky but nothing that a few puffs of activator didn’t take care of right away. The color was great and the slime nice and stretchy. It left a bit of a moist residue on my fingers at first touch, as is typical of this sort of texture, but it very quickly combined. This was a beautiful slime, so very soft, dense and jiggly with a gorgeous aesthetic. It was a nice and clicky, easy to stretch plush jelly texture with just enough resistance. This texture was just so incredibly squishy and soft and unique to Soft Punk. It was a perfect, super jiggly jelly with a soft, plush velvety feel, completely non-sticky and very pleasant in the hands. My fingers did come across a few pieces of the lava rock but they were quite sparing in the formula and consequently his slime is not in the least bit pokey. It had soft bubble pops and was very inflatable. I would best describe this texture as a whipped, super thick and holdable, matte T&G (I know that’s a contradiction!) It was a beautiful mauve that I really appreciated and had some big, loud, aggressive bubble pops. Medium finger pokes as this has less moisture in the formula as is indeed more like a matte "vinyl." This was a truly exceptional slime that was profoundly pleasurable to play with. I have experienced multiple slime sellers claim that certain textures are particular to them and allocate them new unique names. Often these textures end up being nothing particularly new or unique. However, Soft Punk really have earned the right to do this. This gorgeous slime gets all the more clicky as it inflates and was a beautifully soft, ultra plush and fluffy inflatable, holdable cloud creme. The more you stretch the more it inflates and gives you the best soft sizzles. I run a business that sells vintage sneakers and shoes. My business partner and I use local thrift stores to source our products. Our store has been open going on 11 years and we have a strong following locally.
About 2 months ago a 50ish man came into the thrift store. While I was browsing this man came up to about a foot away from me and reached in my cart and took one of my items. I confronted him and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about while smiling. I shrugged it off and went on with my day.
This same guy began coming into this store daily and from what I observed he was there attempting to find items to resale. Do to the recent surge in popularity for thrifting/vintage/reselling I see a lot of new people trying their hand at it, which I think is awesome. I have always had the mindset that there is enough for everyone.
My next interaction with this man was about a week later when he came from behind me while I was pulling a tshirt off the rack and reached his arm over my shoulder and super aggressively ripped the shirt out of my hand so hard the hanger broke.
At that point I had had enough of this and approached the store managers to report the issue. I was met by a woman who called this man by his first name to come over to us. She said “(name) leave this nice guy alone” and they both began laughing. I felt like the manager had a personal relationship with this man and did not take my complaint seriously.
The next day the same man came behind me and quietly said “bitch you want to die?”. I was not aware he was behind me and when I asked him if he was talking to me he said “if you keep fucking with my money someone is going to get hurt” with this creepy smile. He then followed behind me for the remainder of the time I was in the store.
Long story short, it has been 2 months of this man harassing, assaulting, stalking and saying weird creepy threats on my life. If he was just verbal I wouldn’t even pay it any mind.
I know that a logical person might say, why don’t you just stop going to that store? The reason I continue to go to this store is because it is one of the biggest thrift stores in my area and I have been sourcing my own stores products there for 10 years.
Since management has refused to stop this man from confronting me daily, I began to wonder if I might be able to get a restraining order on this man or if filing a police report would just make it worse.
My issue is that I only know this man’s first name because of the manager who knows him personally. Would I have to have his full name? Would the order apply while I’m shopping in public?
Sorry for the lengthy post but I wanted to give a bit of backstory. Any advice is appreciated as this has become a daily issue in my life.

I have a 2014 a4 and the water pump when out last week. I went and got that replaced at a reputable shop, along with the thermostat and the belt that drives those components. I also decided to do the serpentine belt just for assurance. They found that my timing chain has stretched about 6.5 degrees. The timing chain(s) have not jumped any teeth yet. I have about 87K miles on the car. I enjoy this car and I am planning on getting the timing chain replaced, but I don’t have the money yet to do so.
I know that I need to get it replaced sooner rather than later. What is the urgency of this issue? And has anyone ran their timing chain over 7 degrees of stretch? I was hoping this problem would come along closer to the 110K mark, as that is when the owners manual recommends to replace the chain at.
Also, while they are inside the engine doing the timing chain, is there anything else that some folks on here would recommend? I was thinking of doing a walnut blast to clean to the intake ports and valves.

$120k base + 15% bonus (they won’t put the actual bonus number in the offer. Recruiter says it’s usually between 15-20%)
3 weeks vacation
No RRSP matching
$25 deductible for any use of benefits, only 80% coverage. User pays remaining 20%.
$500 per year for each health practitioner
Which seems like the better offer? I’m also getting the second half of my bonus ($7500) at the end of the summer. This new job has said that they need me to start ASAP so I’d be forgoing this bonus as well as my year end review which make result in a raise/promotion. This review is set to take place in the next two weeks and the new job needs an answer by Tuesday. This has also probably been my most successful year at this company as well.
I’m also really wary about how they won’t note the actual bonus structure in their offer letter and they’re just offering it based off trust essentially.
I’m really happy where I’m at right now. This new job I interviewed with a year ago (when I was not as happy, they also gave the job to someone else) and they just reached out again recently.
There may be more of a growth opportunity at the new job, but there’s also growth opportunities at my current job, I would just need more experience. The new job would have me running larger scale projects however.

For starters, my apologies given I know this is subjective, and I’m just now getting up to date with all the new cube technology! A few of you might remember my post yesterday.
This post may be unnecessarily long, over explained etc. It’s just that given the changes to cubes and changes to setups, there are many many more variables that have effect. I don’t want to order several cubes unless I have to.
I’m hoping if I break down my setup, likes, and dislikes of my old Aolong so that I might get a bit more guidance of which modern cube to pick.
As far as setup, all internals plastics were spread with CRC silicone spray. The core, springs, internals of the pieces then had Traxxas 50k differential lube in it.
Its tension was set fairly tight, I don’t know how to quantify it, but it allowed ~45° corner cutting with a R move, and ~22.5° Corner cutting with a R’ move.
What I like about this setup/cube is: -Turn speed is perfect after warming up
-It’s smooth, but I can feel the pieces actually gliding over each other. I like the tactile sensation, but it also helps give me an idea of where I’m at in the rotation if that makes sense.
What I don’t like: -The lube in some way “warms up”. The first few solves it feels like the lube is much more viscous and sticky and then after a few solves loosens up and just “glides”.
-The cube feels unstable and like I’m always fighting the layers while they try to slide around in my grip. Most notably this is a problem for me when doing the U and D moves of OLL 23 (headlights) and occasionally when doing double layer moves.
As far as feel, I want:
-A cube that’s stable so that I’m not fighting layers moving around.
-A controllable cube. I’d like it to not be ridiculously fast(leading to overturning and lack of control), though with the magnets speed may not cause me the control problems I used to have.
I’m looking at the tornado v3, RS3M v5, WRM v9.

 | NPC Academy has now been on Royal Road for a full month, so I thought I'd share my experience and what I've learned so far. submitted by InfiniteLine_Author to royalroad [link] [comments] WHAT I DID: I launched with a backlog of 20 chapters, posting 9 intermittently on day 1 to reach 20k words. Then I posted one new chapter per weekday for the first 3 weeks. This obliterated my backlog, but I wanted to make sure I had enough content that people would actually consider it worth their time to click on the story. Since then, I've been posting 2 chapters per week. I was afraid I'd lose followers when I transitioned from 5 down to 2 a week, but luckily most everyone has stuck around. I did 7 review swaps in the first few weeks, but was informed that review swaps supposedly don't go into the Rising Stars algorithm. One thing I did enjoy doing as part of review swaps was also exchanging chapter-by-chapter comment swaps. Sometimes comment sections on RR can be pretty barren so it was fun to actually see what people are thinking as they read. Highly recommended! I also discovered some really interesting stories, which is a nice bonus. I switched to shout out swaps a few weeks ago and I think that's what actually started to boost my follower count. I've had 10-12 people shout out my story in their pre/post author comment sections (including a story with >5k followers). I ran an ad in parallel, so it's difficult to know exactly where followers are coming from. But I definitely got a good number of story page views from the shout outs from looking at the advanced analytics (usually 5-40 unique user clicks per shout, but almost 200 from that high follower story). I did a few self-promo posts on litrpg and progressionfantasy as well, which can often be met with some negativity and downvotes. I saw a few clicks from those as well, so I still think they were worth doing, especially because early on even one more set of eyes on the story makes a difference--if only to your self-esteem. I imagine reddit promos might be more impactful once more chapters, followers, and community are built up though. RESULTS AFTER ONE MONTH: NPC Academy hit the main Rising Stars list exactly one month (yesterday morning) after posting the first chapter! I launched with a self-made cover. I'm very amateur in terms of digital art and design. I made the mistake of thinking a unique, somewhat cutesy cover would work. Spoiler: it doesn't. I wholeheartedly believe my original cover hurt my ability to get people to click on the story. I had a low-cost cover commissioned and updated it at the beginning of May (also when my follower count started rising). Your best bet with a cover is to fit within the common reader expectations, while having some element that stands out--look at the Rising Stars list and see what kinds of covers people are clicking on. I also revised my blurb several times throughout this process. I thought the draw to my novel would be the idea of NPCs going to school to learn how to battle Heroes, but I think the real interest is the MCs journey. It's also important to have some sort of epic-sounding, standout line(s) in the blurb, which I didn't have originally. These are what get people excited to actually click on Chapter 1. I think I've finally settled on something that works well and I'm happy with. Shoutout swaps are a lot more valuable than review swaps in terms of story clicks and potential new followers. No idea if my ad led to followers, but it definitely generated a significant number of clicks. I expect a lot of the non-follower readers who have stuck with the story came from ads. I started posting about halfway through the Writathon as a non-participant. Would not recommend. No idea if it hurt my story, but presumably more stories are being posted at a higher rate than normal, so your story won't stick in the latest updates list as long. It may not have hurt, but it certainly didn't help because I didn't get to be on the Writathon list. If I could do it again, I'd have waited to build up more backlog and launched in May instead. TAKEAWAYS: Don't underestimate the importance of the cover and blurb. Do shoutouts. In general people are very friendly and happy to swap--especially if you can get on some discord servers. Lately, going grocery shopping alone has been quite tiring. I don’t feel panicky or anything, it just wears me down so much. So much of my energy goes into thinking about how I’m walking, what I’m doing and what other people think about me.
I overthink the looks that people give me (mainly the cashiers etc). I just always get the feeling that they think I’m weird??? So tiring to think about this stuff.
Anyway, I’m going to head to the city quite early and I hope it’s not as busy as in the evenings. Wish me luck.
