This film was canon for me back in the day. I really loved cars growing up, but this movie put that love on steroids. Twenty years later, I started to recognize some strange things about the plot. When I told my wife - who had never seen the film - she noticed what I was pointing out to her immediately. They say, "you need multiple posts to build a fence", and there were so many "posts" that we had to compile those points into a video. Everything from the initial rewrites, name choices for the characters, car selection, and several other carefully placed elements, embeds an entirely different narrative in a film about street racing. One of those rewrites sets the film in Los Angeles, which was originally NYC. Los Angeles means "the angels" and angel means "messenger" and there is certainly a message in this film. Hi, I'm moving to Blr this month and looking for PGs online has left me pretty stumped. I can't really afford (supposedly stable) places like Stanza or HelloWorld yet and I've looked through basically every app/website out there and I could genuinely use some help.
I liked some Colive properties from the pictures and videos and it's also in my budget but after looking at a lot of posts about people getting scammed out of their security deposits and getting charged more money for nothing, even getting hit with legal notices, I don't think I want to look into Colive properties anymore.
I'm looking for a single room PG. All I need is for it to be clean with a nice bathroom and a table and chair (hopefully). My preferred budget is around 15k but I can stretch that to 18 if I need to. Can someone please tell me what to look into?
I see a lot of people suggesting Zolo but even that's a bit out of my comfort zone financially. It's more of a last resort. I also would prefer not to get a hotel for a few days and look around because I want to save as much as possible. Everything I see and like seems to be just out of reach and things that do seem doable end up looking shady. Any advice/suggestions/contacts would be greatly appreciated.

My girlfriend is looking for videos about being offered drugs and I think there is a video of Icecreamsandwich where he talks about how being offered drug is not like a stranger offering you in drugs in a dark street, it is more normal. You are with your friends one day and one of them says "hey I got some coke" and all seems so normal. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I don't want this to come across as hate for the internet, because access to the internet opened my world and brought me my first friends. I was really isolated growing up and the internet has been my lifeline, so this isn't about that.
But, I am so tired and exhausted by consumerism and constant ad-messaging and paywalls. I feel constantly bombarded by ads for things I don't need, and I feel like most platform content these days does nothing but get in the way of friendship and community building. I can't keep my thoughts focused for anything because I am constantly being interrupted by absolute crap I don't want to know about. I feel like my mind is being stolen incrementally on a daily basis and I can't take it anymore. I feel like I'm covered in leeches and the only way to get them out of my face is to put them on payroll in a more convenient area of my life. Reddit is literally the only online place that I don't feel overwhelmed these days.
I used to really enjoy youtube, listening to other people's ideas, participating in some sort of community forum on topics of interest, but I feel like the entire human experience has been monetized at this point. Every video has 2+ ads, not to mention the ads embedded into the content by the creators themselves. What pushed me over the edge today was an ad for getting rid of ads without even an X to click off/close it. Sometimes I want to destroy my eyes and ears just to escape. I have ad-blockers but they don't appear to be affective and even those pop up and ask me for more money almost monthly. None of my friends post on instagram anymore. Everything is content-creators and advertisements for courses, trainings, coaching, items, clothing, etc. I can't even go for a walk without seeing 5+ ads for food and clothing. I can barely talk to another human being without them regurgitating some semblance of an ad I've heard, at some point in the conversation. "Have you heard about X. It sounds/looks so convenient/cool/amazing/fun! I'm thinking about getting it. They have free shipping and a free return policy." "Check out this Y! I absolutely love it. They're having a sale right now if you want some."
I'm done. I can't do it anymore. I deleted my entire youtube history and account. Instagram will be going next when I have the energy to sort through photos and contacts. I'm going to try and talk my partner into throwing dinner parties. I can't live like this anymore. I just can't. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of ad-sense.
Even subscriptions I've paid for have added ads and secondary ad-free subscriptions. I'm finished with Amazon Prime when I'm done with my current show.
I'm all for creators getting paid for their work, but I cannot afford and don't care enough to pay to listen to the rambling thoughts of another person on inane topics, and I've reached my limited for advertisement intake. I need a drive with no billboards, and a walk with no advertisements. Even in suburban neighborhoods, roofers and renovators are advertising from the lawns. I want to cry, but it feels like such a stupid thing to cry about. How am I supposed to explain to people that I'm sobbing because the volume of advertisements right now is so overwhelming it makes me want to crawl in a hole and die or run away somewhere where I can't understand the language, just to be free. I feel boxed in on every side, driven in one direction, buy, buy more, buy everything.
Don't ask a friend for a ride. Buy one. Don't ask your partner to rub your shoulders. Buy a massage. Don't use the pavement outside your door. Buy a treadmill. Don't use the bicycle in your garage. Buy a two thousand dollar stationary machine and pay $40+ a month to access the screen. Don't visit with friends and talk about life, money, and relationships. Buy a subscription and listen to a forty-year-old influencer talk as if they have the wisdom of a lifetime, pretending they haven't made millions from selling common sense. Don't chop your own vegetables. Don't make your own food. Buy it and pay someone bring it to you $10 off today only!!
I'm going to build my actual physical library of books and music again. Convenience be damned. I don't need access to every damn song on the planet, at all times, in every place. I will do without.
Is this just me or is this hurting other people too? I know that I have combination inattentive & hyperactive ADHD which could factor into the impact, but I'm on medication and a supplement regime, and seem to have a solid handle on it in the rest of my life.
Is there a way to get away from all the ads without going the full Monty, moving into the woods and growing your own food? I really don't want to do that. I just want to live a simple life, with a regular job, in an average city...without constant pressure to buy. I don't want advertisements in my mailbox, my email, and my grocery store. I unsubscribe a hundred times and they just keep coming. I don't want to hear about the BIG SALE!!! that is occurring ONLY THIS WEEK...3 out of 4 weeks...all year round. How do I escape this?

By now, you’ll no doubt have made headway through the latest Operation in Halo Infinite —titled “Banished Honor”—which was accompanied by a new Waypoint Chronicle based around a simple question: “What would the story of a Spartan who joined the Banished be?”
We had the perfect character lined up to tell that story, one who hasn’t been seen since the end of Hunt the Truth's second season all the way back in 2015.

THE THIRD LIFE

Our ninth Waypoint Chronicle has arrived, which follows on from the concluding events of Hunt the Truth where a Guardian awakens on the colony world Laika III. Broadly, these events are concurrent with the story that unfolds in Halo 5 as Cortana lays claim to the Mantle, rallies AIs to her cause, and sets about imposing an imperial peace upon the galaxy.
Where Hunt the Truth saw the mantle of narrator pass from journalist Benjamin Giraud to undercover ONI agent Maya “FERO” Sankar in its second season, that torch is once again passed on to a character who made her presence felt in this story... the rogue Spartan known as Ilsa Zane.

Last issue, we gave you a totally legitimate look at the cover art of Halo: Empty Throne. Art is in the eye of the beholder, and unfortunately the powers that be decided that we could do better than a screenshot made in Halo 3's Forge mode in ten minutes with some crudely edited-in elements... it was a close call, really, but we ultimately pivoted towards something with the vibe of it having come from an incredibly talented and brilliant artist—namely, Will Staehle, whose other work you can check out here.

Born on the Outer Colony world Kholo, Ilsa Zane was just eleven years old when she lost her parents and everyone she had ever known as the Covenant descended upon her home and reduced its surface to glass. Taken to the remote colony Asphodel as a ward of the state, Zane remained largely silent and solitary until coming of age in 2547, where she was conscripted into UNSC military service.
In 2550, Zane was selected as a candidate for the prototype phase of the SPARTAN-IV program. Though she survived the augmentation process, additional experimental cocktails caused severe neurological damage to Zane. After escaping the facility, she was recovered by Admiral Mattius Drake and integrated into the rebel group known as the New Colonial Alliance.
In the immediate aftermath of the Covenant War, Zane led a group of operatives who attempted to commandeer the UNSC Infinity —securing it as the flagship of the New Colonial Alliance and to prevent the UNSC from deploying it to police independent colonies. This plan was thwarted by Spartan Sarah Palmer, who ejected Zane into space where the rogue Spartan was once more rescued by Drake, who was on standby in a nearby Prowler.
Following this, Zane served as an acquisitions specialist for weapons and materiel, as well as a ruthless instructor for mercenary and rebel groups that joined the New Colonial Alliance, forging them into a veritable fighting force in preparation for a large-scale strike against the UNSC. However, the awakening of the Guardians in 2558 waylaid these plans, leaving Zane as a prisoner of the Banished—with whom she ultimately came to find both common cause and brotherhood.

What does it mean to be Banished?
To be Banished is to seek to liberate oneself, to pledge loyalty not to false promises of divine ascension but to the fearsome might and will exemplified by Atriox.
Service is welcome from any species, of any previous affiliation or loyalty—from the lowliest Unggoy thrall to the mightiest Sangheili warrior, and all between and beyond.
Power is its own end. In the wake of the Covenant War, opportunity is rife to carve up the remnants of the fallen empire’s vast resources and obtain technology that furthers the prime directive of the Banished: to never bow again, a “reclamation” all their own of freedom.
Following decades of calamitous conflict that has left even the most capable commanders war-weary, it is the Banished that are energized and fortified in purpose and will. Payment for those who share common cause with Atriox comes in blood and sport and spoils.
But those who would choose this path must unshackle themselves from ties to the past—unbind themselves from old masters, cast off their piety, and banish their sentimental devotion to honor.
Only then can one become a true vessel for victory.
Only then is one truly Banished.

Why would a Spartan go rogue?
It’s an apt question. After all, Spartans are meant to represent paragons of humanity in both strength and spirit. But across the generations of Spartans, there have been traitors, rebels, or those who simply wanted to leave the UNSC behind to live on their own terms.
For the Spartan-IIs, these examples came as a result of their training—of recognizing and rebelling against the horrific context of their situation.
In the “Homecoming” episode of Halo Legends, Daisy-023 and several of her fellow candidates sought to escape the program following the augmentation procedures that killed or maimed many of their brothers and sisters, but were ultimately brought back into the fold.
Likewise, in the Halo: Evolutions short story “Pariah,” Soren-066 was left disfigured by the augmentations and was gradually radicalized by a technician named Partch, eventually attempting to escape Reach and join the Insurrection. Indeed, the Spartan who sought to apprehend Soren was Randall-037, who later appeared in Halo: Nightfall where we learned that he had evaded the UNSC after the Battle of Vodin in 2532, even starting a family before ONI eventually caught up to him over a decade later, "reversing" many of his augmentations in exchange for release from UNSC service.
Looking to the Spartan Field Manual, originally released back in 2018, we can gain further insight into the risk of rogue Spartans as it applies to the SPARTAN-IV program:
STOLEN GAUNTLET
Nevertheless, the SPARTAN-IV selection process is not foolproof. Spartan-IVs are soldiers with preexisting philosophies and loyalties, and even the most carefully screened candidate can react to their augmentation and training in unexpected ways. Individual Spartans represent a strategically significant level of combat power and pose a major security threat if their loyalty is compromised.
The STOLEN GAUNTLET fail-safe protocol has been created to provide training and permissive rules of engagement for special agents tasked with tracking down and swiftly neutralizing rogue Spartans.

Ilsa Zane represents the earliest example of this manifesting as a critical issue for the Spartan-IV program, and she is far from a singular example.
In Halo: Escalation, we see Spartan Vladimir Scruggs—another New Colonial Alliance defector—attempt to sabotage the peace talks between Arbiter Thel ‘Vadam and Chieftain Lydus.
Another prominent example is Michael Crespo in Halo: New Blood, who became disillusioned with being sent to kill other humans in the wake of the Covenant War and defected to the United Rebel Front with fellow Spartan Rudolf Schein.
Of course, defecting is one thing, but what is it about the Banished that would be attractive to a rogue Spartan? That is something wholly contingent upon the individual, and at present there is a specific example we can examine: Ilsa Zane.
Having been discarded by the UNSC after falling victim to experimental augmentation cocktails that ravaged her body and mind, she was eventually left for dead by Admiral Drake as well—she was herself “banished” from the places she had sought to belong. This, in combination with her proclivity for violence and a ruthless mindset, led her to discover a certain kinship with the Jiralhanae on Laika III, leading her to willingly pledge herself and the New Colonial Alliance to the Banished.
In the words of Spartan Scruggs: "I am a Spartan. But what you fight for isn't always the same as who you fight for."

ARMORY INFINITUM

The Ravager was a new weapon introduced to the sandbox in Halo Infinite, though it made its fictional debut in Halo: Shadows of Reach.

Featuring a semi-automatic, three-round burst and a charge ability that can create a burning pool for area-of-effect damage, the Ravager quickly became a favorite tool of Jiralhanae warlords for its capacity to flush out garrisoned infantry.
A unique version of the weapon, the Rebound Ravager, can be found in the possession of Captain Arthoc—a high value target the Master Chief encountered on Zeta Halo. Rounds fired by this weapon have the ability to bounce, to which the words of Agent Washington from Red vs. Blue may come to mind: “It bounces? Who designs a gun that bounces?!”

ARMORY OF RECKONING CAPT ARTHOC FWD: RAVAGER
The Armory of Reckoning—it is a fitting name for the tools of conquest and destruction birthed from its forges.
When we advanced on the human remnants that had sought shelter within their crashed ship, I requested of Commander Bannix an augmented version of the plasma tossers produced by the Forge of Torograd.
Where we have mastered both spike and spear in our weaponry since before the Immolation, infusion matter remains an object of study for our alchemists. I was informed by the Screecleaver that there is a great savant stationed on Oth Liqattu who has sought to unlock further secrets of this fetid power, applying it to our own troops and many of our vehicles.
It is said that prolonged exposure to this corrosive bile can addle the mind and rot the body... that is good, for there are many small spaces in human ships. The capacity for this weapon to launch projectiles that bounce before erupting into toxic piles was of great use in flushing our foes from cover. How they flailed and danced to our battle song!
It is my understanding that pure infusion matter is pumped throughout Forerunner facilities, so we must dedicate resources to finding these wellsprings within the substructures of this ring. I shall bring this to Tremonius once he has returned from investigating a disturbance at his outpost.

MERIDIAN SLOANCOMING

Last month saw the arrival of Halo: Battle Born's rerelease, featuring two new short story “adjuncts” which we took a closer look at in our previous issue.
On April 30, the rerelease of Halo: Meridian Divide hit the shelves and—as folks have noticed—there's another adjunct in this one as well!
MERIDIAN HOMECOMING

Completing the trifecta of new adjuncts in these rereleases is “Meridian Homecoming,” which is set in the immediate aftermath of Cortana’s final sacrifice on Zeta Halo in December 2559.
With the leader of the Created dead, the future of this fledgling faction has been thrown into doubt. High Auxiliary Sloan has returned to Meridian where he occupies a Promethean Knight’s carapace and wanders the vast glasslands of his home to find his own fate.
Of course, fans who followed the Precipice short story series last year (which accompanied Halo Infinite's recurring FIREWALL events) know that Sloan has emerged as a new leader within the Created and set into motion the creation of the Executors. “Meridian Homecoming” gives us a small moment in time with Sloan as he contemplates what the concept of home means to him, Cortana’s unfulfilled promise of salvation, his regrets over how he departed from Meridian, and the memories held within a Promethean Knight that set him on a new path.

Good morning!
I’m absolutely loving this app so far and have been using it in clinic where I work. I need to open YouTube videos and close my screen as to not be distracting to the kiddos.
But the other day I noticed this pervasive beeping sound like a small alarm going off. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from and thought I was going crazy— UNTIL a kid in clinic asked why I was beeping.
Is there a way of disabling this feature for certain focus modes? I would like it for home, studying, and music practice.
At work though it can be disruptive, especially since this is the space I need the most support remaining on task.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Voyager for the reaction videos. They were truly one of the greatest highlights of this Eurovision season and have made it so much better and more wholesome. TL;DR boyfriend sexted his girl work friend the day after we split up for two weeks. They still communicate now that we are back together. She also hit on him while we were together. He says he doesn’t have feelings for her but the texts exchanged with each other say otherwise.
My bf and I have been seeing eachother for a year now. We were previously struggling and decided to break up. It only lasted two weeks. We have be going solid for 4 months after our break up.
Backstory: Recently, I noticed my boyfriend frequently discussing his female friend who helped him land a job. I asked if they ever had a thing, he said he used to have a crush on her when they first met 5 years ago, they hooked up once and have remained friends ever since. One day he showed me a video the girl sent him. It was the girls mom saying that she should go for matty and she wrote DTF?
That alarmed me but I suppressed the feelings for a while until she helped him get a job. During this time, they were conversing a lot more and he was very thankful of her, as he should be.
However it still was bothering me how much they were texting and that he I couldn’t stop thinking about that video.
So I when through his phone. I discovered sexual texts from him to her saying he wanting to sleep with her the day after we break up.
I also found texts from her to him while we WERE together saying “break up with her and date me” and “ I want to kiss you” “I’m prettier than her”. He joked with her and said they would be drunks together (I guess they used to party together). He was sending her the same pictures he would send me, and sometimes calling her pet names similar to what he would say to me (not honey or love but other cute names).
I confronted him about it. He said I can’t be mad because we were broken up at the time . He also dismissed it as drunken loneliness. he said he doesn’t have feelings for her and she has a bf now. I asked him why he joked around with her when she told him to date her and not say no he is with me. He said he didn’t want to upset her.
They still text often and make plans to hang out but never do. However now they work together and go to lunch.
Him and I are still together, happy. Except for this. These texts happened more than 3 months ago and I’m just seeing them now. I’m hurt he didn’t tell me about this, what else he might hide from me and if something will progress from just friends as now they work together.
He insists on their continued friendship because she did him a favor and got him this job. I told him I don’t feel comfortable if they hang out alone. He said he wouldn’t but it’s almost impossible since they work together now.
He also was furious I went through his phone. He said I was mentally ill for invading his privacy, said I’m the one who has issues, that I create my own miserable and paranoia, that I make up things in my head that aren’t true.
He then brought up all the shitty things I did in the relationship and said it’s not fair. We both were Unfaithful in our relationship in the early months but now we have been dating for a year. We are practically sober as these occurrences and the majority of our problems were created from booze. We are doing well at work, talking about moving in together and starting a family.
But this is really eating me up. I feel disrespected.
He says he doesn’t have feelings for her but it’s hard to believe when both parties showed interest and now work together, still communicate everyday.
He is upset with me for these accusations and has been distant. He said I need to get over it or leave. He says the only thing that is pulling us a part is me.

She also has a hard time taking accountability. Most of her apologizes are not real apologies and lack accountability. I.E 'I'm sorry you felt that way... I was young and thought I knew everything too... I'm sorry you think I'm a terrible mother...etc' None of us have ever called her a bad mom, she raised all of us alone and wasn't around a lot because she was working two jobs. I recognize that struggle, I appreciate it everyday because I am who I am because of it, but it doesn't give her a free pass to act the way she does.
Now onto the main issue: Mom enjoys 21+ drinks a little more than most people do, but I don't know if I'd classify her as an alcoholic. She's not getting drunk EVERY day, but it's enough that we've (me and Sis) have noticed an uptick in the number of drinks and the amount of days that she drinks. Sis, doesn't live at home anymore, but I do now since school is out for the summer. When my older sister, we'll call her L, was visiting the weekend before last, Mom got drunk at home. We went out to dinner the following night and she got drunk again. And again the next night. When Mom drinks, she gets loud, doesn't know what personal space is, and doesn't really have a filter, and I know that happens with most people. But this is like turned up to a hundred for Mom.
All three of us (me, Sis, and L) were annoyed, but L ignored it, I tried to keep Mom calm, and Sis was more vocal. When dinner ended we went back to Sis's house and played with the cats, but I'm allergic and hadn't take any allergy medicine, so we had to leave shortly after getting some group pics. When me and L got back to Mom's, we had to pour her into bed, which is normally a job left to me. Convince Mom to not sleep in her jeans, get her water with ice, and make sure the fan is on in her room so she can sleep well. Mom also likes to get up and then lay back down a couple times until she's finally out. L and I went to bed after going through old family pictures and keepsakes.
After L left back for her home in a different state the Monday morning after "the drunk weekend", so it was just me and Mom in the house. Well Monday night mom went to her friend's house and I was home just watching TV when she came in at around 10:00 pm. I came down to the kitchen, where she was unloading the dishwasher and asked her how her night was. She was slurring her words a little bit, so I figured she was just a little tired cause drunk driving was not my first assumption. It should've been.
The conversation as follows: Me: "Are you drunk?!" Mom: "Duh." Me: "Please tell me you're joking." Mom: "No, but I waited until I wasn't REALLY drunk."
We then got into a screaming match, mostly me yelling at her and I did call her stupid, which I feel a little guilty about. Not enough to feel THAT bad though. After I'd said my piece, I went up to my room and locked the door because I know Mom's MO from previous fights. You think it's done, but five minutes later she'll open the door and start arguing again. Which is exactly what she tried to do. She told me to unlock the door but I refused, so she yelled through the door. She tried to make herself into the victim and said she knows that we all (me and sisters) hate her, think that she's a disappointment, and so on and so forth. (I took a video in case she tried to come in.)
When I tried to talk to her through the door, I didn't get an answer and went to her room to find her lying down in the dark. I reiterated that what she did was stupid, that she could've killed someone or even herself. I told her that if she ever did it again, I'd call the police myself. Then I asked her why she didn't call me. She said she didn't want her friend to be right, that she was gonna need me to pick her up. I got even more angry and texted my sisters. I didn't send them the video, but I did send it to my best friend.
That's where I might've messed up. I know Sis, she holds grudges worse than any of us. But I was so angry and felt like they had the right to know.
Well, Mother's Day rolled around, L FaceTimed Mom, I was home, so I gave her the gift I'd gotten her. Sis never contacted Mom and I guessed the drunk driving incident had something to do with it. Mom kept contacting Sis even after I told her not to, because Sis is also the type that needs to cool down before she comes around. I felt guilty because I knew that what I told them was probably what caused this whole mess.
This morning, my mom came into my room sobbing and woke me up by yelling "You told Sis! That's why she isn't talking to me!"
I said I was sorry, that I didn't mean to cause trouble, but they had the right to know. She was close to hyperventilating, so I told her to sit down and breathe. I looked at the messages and Mom has been texting and calling Sis for three days straight multiple times a day. Which is what I told her NOT to do. Nowhere in the messages did Sis say she she was no longer speaking to Mom, all she said is she is changing her number and she will call her when shes ready. I wont be giving Sis's new number to Mom, nor will I be defending Mom's actions to her. But I feel like a major AH because if I hadn't texted my sisters, everything would be fine.
I don't know what to do or how to fix this, and I can't be the reason Mom loses contact with Sis. That guilt will eat me alive. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you

For context, I am a software engineer, used plenty Android smartphone in the past, and I'm generally considered a tech savvy
I was an early adopter of Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Ear (1)
Great hardware/price ratio The software design is the most pretty I've used
However, the software (Nothing OS) UX is one of the worst I've used (still better than MIUI though)
Every update cause something to break.

• Bad camera third-party use performance (generally slow and makes bad looking videos and photos outside of the native camera app)
• Bad camera app performance (clicking early on the capture button sometimes make the photo be displayed in the gallery view at the bottom, but you realize soon after it was not saved and you lost those memory footage forever)
• WhatsApp picture random performance (usually slow, sometimes just not responding after capture)
• Instagram stories bad performance (making very low-fps and poor looking videos and photos ; random decrease if any process is running in background)
• Passkeys totally broken since 2.5.4 A (it's been a few months since they told me the devs will be releasing the fix in the next update; it was, in fact, not fixed in the next update, and still not fixed as of the date I'm posting this)
• Random battery discharge (hard to analyse)
• Very buggy native screen modes (Night light / Extra dim / bedtime mode), although seems to be fixed since 2.5.4 A
• Buggy media control above the notification center (slow, causing double click sometimes, showing dozens of media from long-ago closed apps)
• Tereible multiple-word text selector behaviors (feels way too slow and sometimes scroll at the same time or options disappears after having selected, really annoying. Also the zoom display is too small and sometimes doesn't disappear after use, it actually happened right now as I tested it)
• Random "charge steadily overnight" activation (sometimes work, sometimes the phone is already at 100% in the middle of the night)
• Native (android) UI → not that good reactiveness compared to hardware capabilities (opening notifications, switing app from swipe on bottom button)
• Trash-tier Bluetooth calling sound and microphone (I made a post a long time ago about that). That is a general Android problem but I think can be overriden with a layer such as Nothing OS.
• Feeling of abandonment since Nothing Phone (2) release

The general software really doesn't feel like it has been optimized enough. How is it that an old pixel phone with fairly worse hardware feels more performant for day-to-day tasks?
That's a pity because I trusted them as an early adopter, and those will make me not buy anything software from Nothing in the future.

TLDR: I asked my mom (my baby’s caretaker while I’m at work) to follow a few rules for introducing first foods to my baby, and she got upset saying that I need to “give her more credit” and trust her more.
My baby is 5 months old as of Sunday. I work full time (4 10’s). My mom told me that while I’m at work, he’s not interested much in a bottle at her house. When I’m with him I don’t see this side of him, he breastfeeds/nurses when I’m there and takes a bottle for my husband well. However, my mom seemed really concerned and saying that he’s ready for solids. I told her I would rather wait until he can sit up better on his own/closer to 6 months based on research I’ve done… but I trust her opinion, she’s raised 3 babies and ran an in home daycare previously. So, on my day off yesterday I tried some mashed avocado with him. He did okay, it mostly made a huge mess but I think he did swallow some of it and seemed to like it. Last night, I messaged her with some of my concerns/stipulations to follow with introducing solids. Here was my exact text to her:
“A few things before we dive straight into solids, it might sound silly to you but I need to make sure we're on the same page. I've done a lot of research and I just want what's best for his safety 1. Please don't introduce a new food without me or at least run it by me first. 2. I want you to take a basic infant cpr class. I'll pay for it if I can't find a free one. Just in case he would start choking. 3. His main source of nutrients still needs to be from breastmilk until at least 1 year. Always offer milk first and then purees if he's acting hungry. 4. He's still not sitting up on his own & not hit all of the milestones for readiness although I agree he is ready in other aspects, but I still want to take it slow & not rush anything. I hope you understand this.”
Her text back said “I’m not getting cpr certified. I’ll refresh myself. Is Adam (my husband) or David (my husbands dad who rarely watches him) certified? They are the worry, not me. I’m more educated on babies than most. If you can’t trust my care with him, maybe we need a new plan for his care. I’ve been way more up front with you than a daycare would be. Give me more credit. I’m his grandma, not just some childcare provider. Took that tougher than I expected. Luckily for you.. I’ll get over it quickly. You might need to reign in your “first time mom” feelings a bit. Give me more credit”.
I agree that a full cpr class is a little excessive, I more meant a refreshea simple video. However, I don’t think the others are asking too much. I don’t think it’s fair that she threw it in my face that she’s doing us a favor by watching him. She is, but she also was the one who volunteered/wanted to watch him and I tell her all the time how appreciative I am about this. AITAH or is she completely disregarding my feelings/safety concerns?

Started watching SBR lectures after the July Results from VIFHE (Its a resit batch but I joined with 0 knowlege), didnt realise how long they were and im still watching it. Can someone please give me some Exam strategy tips. I might finsh the lectures by early next week (I'm working at BIG4 as well so).
I am yet to start any revision beyond a few group revision videos I watched. Just looking to get by, I have short notes on the stadards and trying to memorise them.
I have around 2-3 hours free a day I am able to study and most of the weekends(provided no work). And 3 days before the exam as study leave.
Kindly looking for any help in how I can get by in the next 3ish weeks. I'm still feeling confident in myself to be able to get this done, but want some help in how I can imporve my exam strategy in the next 3 weeks.
