hey, I want to play baldurs gate 3 with my friend, but sadly since we are in Iran, the servers are blocked, and port forwarding to have him directly connect to me is not possible, I have purchased a vps, fyi I have not yet set up a vpn and dont know which protocol would work for such thing, how can I make it so we can both connect to it from our homes and have it look like we are on the same lan so we can play the game?

I love my iPhone 13 mini and it's staying as my main phone, but I also love photography and would love a bit of zoom for when I go to concerts (I'm looking at you, Taylor at Wembley).
I was looking at upgrading to a 15 Pro, but then I noticed that you can pick up Pixel 7 pros for around £270 ish in the UK.... so would I be mad to buy one as a complement, to use mainly as a camera in zoomy situations?
Or is the "zoom" on a 17 pro really not that great anyway?
What I would love would be to see a shot taken on a iPhone 13 mini and then the same shot taken at full optical zoom on a 7 pro so I can get some kind of idea of the difference it would make.
I'm also not really sure how the Pixel 7 pro zoom copes with low light / concert kind of settings, so any advice or experience would be appreciated.

We're encountering an issue with one of our customers. We have a mailbox set up to directly channel emails into a CRM tool for my colleagues' handling. Periodically, they manually delete some older emails, as we prefer to avoid automated deletion to prevent unintentional removal of important messages. However, when these emails are deleted, everything proceeds smoothly except for one individual.
The emails are marked as "not read" within the mailbox because the CRM tool simply moves them to an overlay without opening them via Outlook. Consequently, when they delete emails from this specific user (all emails from whom exhibit this behavior), he receives an email notification from our on-premise Exchange server at his address:

So I have set up a small Plex server earlier this year - for me, in house, it all works fantastic. Outside, also most of the time - but I wanted to watch a movie at a friends place and some stuff is buffering to no end while others is loading.
If the movie or show is transcoding, it works well - if it's the original file though, it ends up buffering endlessly.
I can influence how long the show/movie is paying before buffering by lowering the bitrate. It will eventually end up endlessly buffering though no matter what.
The bitrate for transcoding stuff is higher than the the bitrate of a show that should stream through just fine so it shouldn't be the internet. Could it be a port that's blocking specific stuff? We tried watching it through an Xbox Series S.
It's weird, because it all works as intended in a different place. Tried at my parents and everything is fine. At my friends place, it's just not working.

The amount of time and storage I've wasted downloading like 70gb of mods only to see that a server or hosted mod is 1 version out of date and stopping anyone from joining is absurd. How is this not automated by now? It's so rare that new updates break mods, and there's no way to rollback your DayZ or mod version so there's just dozens if not hundreds of dead servers littering any and all forms of DayZ launcher. There is absolutely no excuse to make server upkeep so tedious and demanding. I would set up my own local server, but just the process of adding and configuring mods is insanely tedious and there's no easy way to do it. By the time I find a server with the mods I want to try out that actually works, I'm so mad that I don't even want to play DayZ anymore and end up just giving up for the day.
Sorry for the rant, I know these are annoying to read but this has been burning a hole in my brain for days now. Dayz even.

Hi all, i wonder if what I'm looking for even exists. i want to migrate away from Yahoo and into Outlook.com - however, Yahoo has taken the ability to forward all emails. in the Windows Desktop app for Outlook i can set a rule that will monitor Yahoo's Inbox and copy each email to Outlook.com's inbox however my laptop has to stay running 24/7. is there a Docker i can setup in one of my cloud servers that will do the same? looking in Google didn't find any results

i want to get rid of the printnightmare vulnerability. So far it seems not possible for the infrastructure to enforce it with ncessary elevation prompt / admin privileges. I sttup the whitelisted printservers (trusted servers) and allowed the installation without evelevation prompt. Ive read a lot of blogs and other stuff about those settings and ive heard that its still not safe - can you explain why? what should be the best and safest way to disable the vulnerability without restricting users to install print drivers by themselves? (only our printservers ofc)

I have asked my boss if we can find a way to update the RAM, coz my computer really seems to struggle with AE (After Effects) and even other adobe Programs too. But he says the M2 should make up for lack of RAM.. I looked into creating RAM Disks using virtual memory but from what i understand, Mac's do this automatically... Is there anything I can do to maybe create more virtal Memory? Or anything I can say to convince my boss that we need to make a different plan? Or is he right, and my computer should be handling it, and maybe I am doing something wrong?
I generally make videos for socials, so not much longer than 15 sec, at most an internal video might be 2 min. I use proxies if I have video footage, I have changed my preview settings, I keep everything closed except one program at a time.. and still everything is so slow and often glitchy (perhaps this is just an Adobe issue?)
The other thing is that we work off a server.. which really seems to slow it down even more, I try to work of my computer for big projects- but its quite inconvenient coz all our media is stored on the server anyway..

Quite an elementary question here!
I'm new to the world of headless CMS and static site generators and realise that there are lots of them out there. I've just built my first headless site with Astro and Netlify. Took a bit of working out but I got there.
When it comes to setting up backup policies for conventional CMSes like Wordpress ... it's pretty straightforward. The target is the server running the sites and there are lots of plugins for handling backup.
Taking Astro as an example ... I can back up my project incrementally by backing up the local filesystem.
Alternatively I could configure a backup from Github onto some object storage like S3 or B2.
if I wanted to back up the site after deployment (although I should have no need if I have the above in place) ... I'm a bit lost. Is there an option somewhere?
More than this I'm curious how it works in general.
Hashnode CMS let's you blog on their cloud and then deploy headlessly. If there's no good backup functionality on the hosted CMS side of things ... where do you do your backups?

I have an Apple watch ultra 2 attached to an iPhone on a Go 5G plus plan. I have roaming enabled. The watch is set up for myself. I know the watch is supposed to be able to roam in other countries, but for some reason it keeps telling me there is no signal. Anything else I can check? Is there some feature that needs to be enabled to get international data roaming on the watch? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you
