Been looking at hand guns, was gunna put it on hold for a while but the Cz p10s is on sale for $299 rn and it seems like too good to pass on. That being said I held a fn reflex in an lgs the other day and god damn it felt like it was made for my hand. Anyone have any experience with them? Iβve read rave reviews of both so I donβt think I can go wrong, I really like the fn but the Cz seems like such a good deal

Someone sent this.
How do you deal with ridiculous / insulting offers?
A 2015 honda crv was put up for sale for $15500 (negotiable); this car with the same mileage and condition typically goes for around $16500 and even more at a dealership, excluding additional fees and tax.
Then a person texts and says they would pay "$9k cash", the response to the offer was - "Yeah, you could bring a gun when you're coming"

2024.05.21 20:51 HisSunshine3-9 Busy morning
Hi π Just got home from running around all morning. I got up, took R to the bus stop, came home and immediately was on the phone with a client for an hour π€¦πΌββοΈ. Rushed to take a shower and get to my massage appointment with my favorite chic. She did EXTRA AWESOME today. Ran to the office. Had to go fix someone else's insurance and now I'm finally home with a few hours to myself before I have to get up and go pick R up. I had a taco for lunch. I'm soooooo beyond ready for a nap. I'm still tired from yesterday. I got a little pink, but it's tan now.
R had his 3rd swim lesson yesterday. He is showing huge improvement, but I think yesterday kicked his ass. She worked him hard. He has now been introduced to 3 out of 4 strokes. Butterfly is last. So far he seems to be the best and backstroke and isn't too bad at breast stroke for only doing it one time. We are skipping next week, because the lady didn't want to do a lesson on Memorial Day so he will go back again the week after and then I believe he's done with it. I'm not sure if he's going to stick with it, that's what this trial is for. I think he could be really good at this though. He's like me. Naturally well rounded at anything he tries. Not necessarily the absolute best, but reeeaaalllly good. I think he could be a track superstar if his head was in it. I couldn't believe the shit he was doing.
I am on a mission for a big citrine cluster rock to add to my table. I have been finding some pretty cool pieces but I don't wanna pay the ridiculous prices. If I keep it up I'm gonna need a bigger table.
Omg the tax lady just called me back. I got THE best news ever. I am getting a refund instead of having to pay. AND she said she going to go back and redo my last TWO years of taxes and I will get a refund AND get back all the money I paid in. So at the end of it all I will probably get back over a 10k check. I am soooooo relieved about this. I should have found her years ago. She said there were so many things he fucked up and wasn't making sense AND she said I can claim all those medical bills and even the sales tax on my car! Like holy shit. Why the hell didn't anyone else tell me that? The good news is that I will get this refund soon. The amendments might take 6 months but you know what? That is perfectly fine by me. I can track it and then wake up one day with a huge chunk in my account. I knew something was sketchy about paying in all that money when I was filing single, head of household with a dependent and all of those write-offs. I just didn't know where else to go and who else to trust. Thank God the dude in my office recommended me to her. I am keeping her forever! I just have to dig up a few papers but that's fine too. I am almost positive as to where I have everything. Soooooooooooo stoked πππ
On that note, I need to nap like I said I was going to. I miss you something fierce and I love you beyond measure or explanation. I will talk to you soon, my love. ππ Always and forever, I love you more.
PS: Send me a picture pretty please π₯Ί ππΌ

2024.05.21 20:37 kopy05 Is it safe to shorten the end of my inner barrel? If it is, any tips on doing it so?
| The inner barrel completely blocks both the flash and the sensor inside the tracer unit. The inner barrels lenght is 455mm, so I don't think there would be any performance difference from shortening it. The only issue is that I haven't really done any modifications to my airsoft guns yet. So I don't really want to mess up anything. Any tips on how should I do it? [The gun is the cyma cm.040, and the tracer unit is the acetech tracer with the muzzle flash immitation] (Originally bought it for a gbb pistol, but I want to try it on my AEG) submitted by kopy05 to airsoft [link] [comments] |
2024.05.21 20:34 mintdreams Which note isnβt working for me?
Let me begin by saying that I am a newbie to the world of perfume and that I am a vanilla enthusiast, but I am also very scent-sensitive and susceptible to migraines and allergies. Vanilla seems to be the safest fragrance for me, and I enjoy smelling like a cupcake.
In an attempt to branch out to something a little different than my go-to Outremer Vanille, I decided to take the plunge and pick up Phlurβs Vanilla Skin at a good sale price. It was hideous on me from the first spray. I thought maybe it was the top notes of pink peppercorn, since I donβt enjoy pepper, but thereβs something I can only describe as sharp and sour that continues to linger. Something that, to me, smells like sickness. Is it the sandalwood? Cashmere? Iβll be offloading this one on someone who likes it.
Then, I tried Targetβs pistachio perfume, and I got the same sharp, sour wrongness, and no pistachio at all.
Sol de Janeiroβs classic 62 smells good at first, but then, it turns to that same headache-inducing sensation. It also has notes of pistachio and sandalwood, so I feel like the discordant note has to beβ¦ sandalwood?
Whatβs wrong with my nose? If sandalwood is supposed to smell woody and rich, why am I getting sour and sickly?

2024.05.21 20:23 Left_Development_279 Various YOUNG GUNS for sale
2024.05.21 20:20 JamFranz My coworkers and I live in fear of winning a certain award. This year, I was the nominee
I stared, mouth dry, heart pounding, at the message from my boss β That awful combination of words that my coworkers and I pray we never see:
βYouβre in the running for Employee of the Year.β
For him to send something so callous via email β that was just rubbing salt in the wound.
My eyes glazed over the wall of text that followed. I didnβt need to read the details β Iβd cleaned enough of the prior winners off the walls and ceiling of the soundproofed breakroom to know exactly what the award entailed.
After that initial, deep pang of fear faded, denial flooded in to take its place.
I wasnβt just hitting my sales quota, I was blowing it out of the damn water β selling big ticket items daily. I never forgot to place the stickers with my barcode on the products, either, so when my customers checked out and it was scanned at the register, the sales shouldβve automatically been linked to my employee ID.
We donβt receive commission β there are other βincentivesβ to keep our sales up. I hadnβt been watching the numbers because I knew I was making sales left and right β I would've never even dreamt that I was at risk.
It was just a glitch with our computer system, I decided with a nervous laugh. It had to be β something IT could probably sort out in no time.
When I finally regained control of my legs, I wobbled to my managerβs office.
There was no miscalculation, he assured me. It was my employee ID that ranked at the bottom.
βThe barcodes never lie, Graham.β He didnβt even bother making eye contact.
I was circling the drain figuratively, and if I didnβt get my shit together β literally β soon enough.
I begged him to review the camera footage β I knew he'd be able to see me making all those sales. βDonβt worry,β he added, with a smile vacant of anything remotely resembling happiness, βOne way or another, we all contribute to the success of our company.β
I suppose that by then, he was long desensitized to the pleas of the desperate.
As I left his office, I assured myself that this wasnβt a death sentence.
Not yet.
I had another month until they recalculated our final standings, before shit would get real. Before Iβd be given a limp handshake and an empty βThank you for your devotion to the companyβ as I was led down the hallway. Before Iβd meet what lives behind the usually padlocked door in the shadowy corner of the breakroom.
Before Iβd learn what it truly meant to sacrifice myself for the good of the company.
Word spread fast around the office.
Kevin gave me his smug, shit eating grin β maybe he thought that with me out of the picture, heβd finally have a shot with Elise.
Eliseβ¦ I just desperately hoped that hers wouldnβt be the name drawn afterwards β the one selected to hose whatβs left of me off the breakroom floor and down the stained, rusty drain.
As required, I began parking in my new designated space at the far end of the employee lot β the faded sign indicating βReserved for Employee of the Yearβ nearly swallowed up by the encroaching tree line. It added an extra ten minutes to my walk to our store, and I dreaded that added time in the oppressive Texas heat. The rational part of me knew that was soon to be a moot point, though.
One way or another, in another month, I wouldnβt have that parking spot. If I were lucky, Iβd live to see another summer β live to see some other poor bastardβs car parked there.
If they hadnβt already heard the news, when the rest of my coworkers saw my car in that space, they knew what it meant. Donβt get too attached.
They started avoiding me like the plague. I didnβt blame them.
We all knew what would be coming next if my sales didnβt improve β it's the same thing that happens every time:
Weβd gather for the mandatory meeting on the closing night of the fiscal year, all eyes on the sorry son of a bitch that had βwonβ β the room so quiet that you could hear their muffled sobs. Theyβd receive what barely constituted a handshake from my manager while he muttered β dead-eyed β his appreciation for their devotion to the company.
Next, theyβd be ushered off to the breakroom to meet βcorporateβ. No one tried to run β not after what happened in '19. Instead, the winner would always turn back, shooting us a desperate, final look β eyes pleading for someone, anyone, to intervene. And, of course, no one ever did.
Once the door closed behind them and that sound-proofed room swallowed up the last of their sobbing, begging β it was over. The rest of us would be sent home and I'd try to shower away that disgusting feeling β that sick sense of relief that someone else was sent to their death, and not me.
Cal β the nicest guy Iβd ever met β he was the bottom performer two years ago.
Heβd fallen so ill that heβd nearly wasted away and eventually, couldnβt work anymore. He must've thought that freed him from his contract β if he left, if he never came back into work, heβd be okay.
He must not have read the fine print in our hiring paperwork.
Although, to be fair, if any of us had read it, we'd never have signed it in the first place.
Cal was a warning to the rest of us, that there is no quitting in our line of work. If they have to track you down and find you (and I promise you that they will find you) β well, wouldnβt you prefer to go with your dignity, with the company compensating your loved ones β rather than be pulled from your home, kicking and screaming into the night?
Gina was employee of the year in 2023. Gina, with the kind smile, whom Kevin had set his sights on before Elise β and, just like Elise, she wanted nothing to do with him.
I still remember that day, the day they released the final numbers. The way Ginaβs mouth hung open in confusion, shock.
When she finally managed to form words again, she too insisted that there must be some mistake. We all vouched for her to management β Iβd personally seen her make so many sales.
Our manager simply reminded us that the barcodes never lie.
My name was the one drawn for breakroom duty that next morning, to pick up what remained of her smile and her simple gold wedding band, to be returned to her family. In one business week, they received a box containing a check, and everything left of her that wouldnβt fit down the drain.
Once the numbers are finalized, once your employee barcode has been slapped on that innocuous looking pink slip, well, your fate is sealed.
Kevin, in all his years at the company, has never parked on the far side of the lot. He has never even come close to becoming Employee of the Year, even though he couldnβt sell a bottle of water to a man dying of dehydration. He is sleaze incarnate and doesnβt even have the charisma to mask it.
I never understood how he did so well, but I couldnβt afford to think about him.
I had myself to worry about, and the glitch in the system. Any time I found myself in the breakroom, that ancient wooden door was an unwelcome reminder of the impending one-way trip it held for me.
I took special care to keep an eye on my sales, working my ass off, pulling double shifts. I pulled up the numbers as the end of month drew near, and couldn't believe it.
I was still dead last.
Somehow, there were days where less than half of my sales had been recorded to my employee number.
I didnβt understand.
I waited for the opportunity to sneak into the manager's office, and pull the footage myself.
Iβd show the boss that something had gone wrong with the calculations, that the system was broken.
I finally got my chance. At first, I triumphantly watched myself make sale after sale β far more than had been credited to my account. For the first time in a month, I felt a sense of relief. I had evidence, and that had to count for something.
I switched feeds, to the camera nearer to the registers so I could confirm that the codes were being scanned. I'd seen several scanned successfully, and reached to turn off the recording. That's when I saw it.
Saw him.
Kevin.
It was subtle. I didn't realize what he was doing at first, until I recognized the pattern. Even then, I had to rewind and watch again for it to click.
It happened for nearly half of my sales that day. I saw him Intercepting the customers before they could check out β before I could get credit for my sales. And while he chatted them up, he discretely slapped his employee barcode over my own.
I confronted him that night β I was furious. He just smiled, smugly gave me that line about how the barcodes never lie.
He didnβt give a shit that he was sentencing someone else to death.
Hell, maybe he even enjoyed it.
Kevin had stolen credit for Ginaβs sales β and god knows who else's.
Fucking. Kevin.
The day our numbers were to be finalized, he had the audacity to place his barcode over mine on a huge sale Iβd made β he made no attempt at hiding it β right in front of me. He flashed me a grin as he did.
I caught up with the customers before they checked out and they kindly allowed me to peel the sticker off. I stuck it in my pocket to show my manager.
I pulled the video, too, and I stormed into his office, refused to leave until he watched it. I studied him as his eyes moved across the screen and if he was upset or shocked, he certainly didn't show it.
Finally, he met my eyes, and at the sight of the pain in his β well, for the first time, I felt a sense of relief.
Until I realized why he looked so miserable. Until he whispered, βI'm sorry, Graham. Someone has to receive that award tomorrow. It's out of my hands.β
I wordlessly handed him that damn barcode sticker of Kevinβs that Iβd peeled off. He studied it for a long moment before he handed it back to me with a mere, βWhy don't you hold onto this.β
I told Elise what had happened over lunch, and as much as I appreciated her outrage on my behalf, I was already resigned to it. I'd mainly wanted to warn her because I had a sick feeling she'd be the one Kevin went after next.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't devastated when, that night, my boss called me into his office and informed me of the final standings. Yeah, I knew it was coming, but I guess it's just human nature to hold onto denial β hope β until the bitter end.
For what felt like an eternity, we stared at each other in silence. The presence of the pink slip of paper lying on the desk between us, said more than enough.
Finally, my eyes drifted down to the form.
Heβd already signed, but the space where my barcode β the series of vertical lines spelling out my death sentence β shouldβve been placed, was empty.
I never knew how this part went, since it always took place behind closed doors. No one that ever filled out that form lived to tell the rest of us about it.
βI need you to place a barcode here before I send the form to corporate.β he said, eventually.
I opened my mouth for one final, impassioned plea for my life, but he interrupted me. He spoke each word slowly, softly.
βIβm leaving the room now. I need you to place a barcode here, before I send the form to corporate.β
He stared at me for a long moment, waiting for my barely perceptible nod of acknowledgement before leaving me alone in the office.
They processed the paperwork, and announced the Employee of the Year that next day.
Yes, I did feel a pang of guilt as I watched the smug grin fade, the blood drain from Kevinβs face as he stared in shock at the outstretched hand of our manager β as he was thanked for his devotion to our company.
I felt it again as I watched him plead all the way to the breakroom, as our manager spoke to him the same mantra weβd all heard before.
The barcodes never lie.
But I thought of Gina, of the countless others, and by the time I heard the door slam behind him β the guilt was already gone. In its place, the relief of knowing the rest of us were safe.
Well, at least until next year.

2024.05.21 19:53 casteeli I left sales
Iβve seen quite a few posts of people wanting to leave sales so wanted to share my personal experience.
Left sales last year to go into CSM. Reason, mostly because the company I was at sucked and burned me out. I have never missed a quarter, hustle hard af, was always in the top 5/10/15% on every team I was ever in. But the company didnβt give a shit, I was tired of the firing threats, even if they didnβt necessarily applied to me. I hate working with a gun in my head and I had enough.
So I joined another Saas company as a CSM and here is my review. I miss the fuck out of my commission checks, but for once I have energy after work to do the things I like. While the energy in sales motivated me a ton during the working hours, I didnβt have it in me to do anything after work, I was watching TV, playing video games and going to bed.
If you are feeling low, I really recommend this path. It doesnβt have to be forever, just for a year or two while you build on a different set of skills and stand out for working harder than your CSM colleagues who donβt have the hustle in them.
I saved half my commission checks every quarter, so while I have some money anxiety knowing I donβt have those nice checks coming in anymore, I will be ok.
My advice: prep your exit. Save money, network hard within your company and externally.
Itβs ok to prioritize yourself. Itβs ok to take a break from sales and learn a new set of skills. Iβm sure it will welcome me back when Iβm ready and have the energy again. On top of that, Iβll be a better coworker now that Iβve seen the post sales side.
Curious to hear how people who left sales and came back felt?

2024.05.21 19:46 Apprehensive_Pin2783 First time pink toe owner
For those who saw my previous postβ disregard it lol. I realized the guy who listed the babies was not one that I wanted to buy them from. Does anyone know a good way to find local expos? Or any other good source to find tarantulas for sale other than a typical pet store? Iβm wanting a pink toe specifically, if possible. Iβm willing to have one shipped to me as well, but 1. I donβt want to spend an arm and a leg on just the spider alone and 2. I donβt really know how that works. One of the things that means is I donβt know how to tell if I was being scammed.
Lastly, if anyone else has any other tips or advice for first time owners, please let me know! I have a notebook full of personal research on pink toes but thereβs always more to learn. Absolutely anything helps, thank you!

2024.05.21 19:38 Spartikis Any DD cannon owners here? Need advice.
Iβve seen WWII era DD cannons for sale (37mm bofors, M3, etcβ¦) and thought it would be an epic center piece to my NFA collection. One of the smaller cannons could easily stored in my garage.
Curious as to:
- Where do you shoot them? Iβm a few hours from knob creek but beyond that I donβt have access with private land of the size needed to shoot a cannon.
- How often do you take them out? Iβm assuming itβs 1-2 times a year king of thing.
- Where do you get the projectiles and powder? I've done some research online and I canβt find powder anywhere. I found a few cases but no 37mm projectiles on gunbroker. CDVS used to have tons of stuff but they are basically sold out of everything. Iβve read about 20mm Anzio owners complaining about the lack of rounds and reloading components, even powder is very hard to come by these days. Iβm guessing surplus everything has dried up and the gov just destroys stuff now instead of selling?
- What is the long-term outlook on owning a cannon? I remember a few decades ago when everyone wanted MG34s and MG42s because surplus 8mm Mauser was dirt cheap. When the surplus ammo dried up so did the interest in owning those MGs. Many owners had them converted to 308 or just sold them to buy something else. I'm curious if the same will happen or is happening with cannons. I don't want to get into the hobby when everyone else is getting out of it.
- Is owning a cannon worth the time/effort/cost? Or would you rather have a transferable Machine Gun, Barret 50 cal, or something similar that is smaller to store, easier to transport, cheaper to shoot, and less effort to maintain?
Thanks!

2024.05.21 19:29 MagnumAfficionado Help me decide....GSSF coupon burning a hole in my pocket
So, I like Glocks and have a few already, recently joined the GSSF, and now I have a coupon to get a discount on one glock this year.
I'm leaning towards a G34 because I am not into red dots, and figure the longer sight radius could be nice to have, especially since I plan to do some steel challenge type competitions this year. There is a store near me that claims to have one of the elusive non-MOS G34.5's for sale in stock at a good deal with the coupon.
However, I already have a G17 Gen 5, so the G34 is really only going to be like my G17, but a little longer, right?
My G17 is what I carry now when I am willing to carry a full-size gun, it fits perfectly for carrying in my Hill People Gear Runners kit, and I have a couple nice waistband holsters, and a shoulder holster that fit the G17 already. Two of those are leather holsters with an open muzzle, so I assume the G34 would also fit those holsters.
I'm wondering if I get the G34 if I won't end up feeling like I basically just got a 2nd G17?
Also, I already have the G41, which is basically the .45acp version of the G34, so maybe I should get something different? Although I do like my G41, even more than my steel 1911.
I also have a G44 (.22lr), and a G20 (10mm). I love shooting the .22 a lot, but don't really need a second one. My pinky finger doesn't quite fit on the grip of the .22 glock, but the recoil is so light I can still enjoy shooting it and shoot it well. The 10mm G20 has a good sized grip for me, but it is a bit heavy for carry, and while I can shot the .45acp well, full power 10mm loads aren't so easy to shoot well.
I have gigantic Ogre hands, so the "baby Glocks" suck for me to shoot. I was gifted a G27 in the past but got rid of it because I just couldn't enjoy shooting it, or trusting that I'd be able to shoot well in an urgent situation, even after I got a pinky grip extension magazine for it.
Thoughts?

2024.05.21 19:18 Wheresthelog1c Is it possible for me to get 3 waivers?
Posting again because my posts keep getting removed -- hopefully this one sticks but sorry if spam.
Im looking at enlisting on an 03 contract but I'd need 3 waivers:
- Moral waiver for major misconduct -- I got arrested twice before the age of 18. Once for burglary at 15 (urban exploring) and once for possession of an imitation firearm at 17 (an airsoft gun). I'm 24 now and I've kept my nose clean since.
- Mental health waiver. Around early 2021 I was dealing with depression from COVID. I fell for the betterhelp ads and got prescribed SSRI's once, never refilled. It's been >3 yrs since my last refill.
- Marijuana waiver -- I smoked growing up in NY, quit once I decided to actually do something with my life.
I know people say I can leave stuff out, but I want to be 100% upfront. I want to chance to try for recon eventually, and I don't want to mess up my chances with another stupid mistake.
I got a good score (93) on the practice asvab and I've been volunteering with team Rubicon for the past few years, I'm hoping this will help my case.
I haven't talked to a recruiter yet since I don't want to waste anyone's time, do I even have a chance?

2024.05.21 19:09 Separate-Ad-3231 [WTS]/[CA-USA] NPO AEG 9a-91 with 5 mags
Npo aeg 9a-91 -
https://imgur.com/a/0jsEqmP All sales are final, so please buy with confidence and please conduct your research efficiently. Thank you.
Ment to keep it, but unfortunately, I am forced to let it go. Can't really play as much as I can hope for due to work. But I still want to play at least twice a month or so. Unfortunately I'm moving into gbbr stuff. I'm only left with 1 tokyo marui scar ngrs (keeping that baby lol) and im also looking for the tokyo marui mp5a5 ngrs. But I'm trying to fund another airsoft related build
There's nothing much more to say about this rifle. It works and is in excellent condition.
There is nothing wrong with it. I don't have a small battery that can fit it, but I have some that can use to test fire.
The npo aeg 9a-91 will come with 5 metal npo 9a-91 Mags. Sadly as I mentioned, I have no battery that can fit without removing the suppressor.
For now, only selling local to Los Angeles area. Shipping is expensive, and this thing is pretty heavy. I'd rather sell this locally. Please don't send me trade offers (I'm not going to reply or respond)
Im selling foe $900.00 firm. Addition pictures can be provided upon request and shooting video. For some reason, can't upload some of them not sure why so ill just send them to any potential buyers.
Note the part were I put down the phone(using my phone to record the video), I switch to the second magazines to shoot full auto. Also I was using those bio 30bbs and forgot to fully charge the battery but it has more than enough to show that it shoots
Thanks for stopping by

2024.05.21 18:25 The402Jrod Tobacco profits - not a problem. Profiting off of Gun sales- not a problem. Cutting free school lunches to save billionaires a few tax dollars - great idea! Taking funds away from kids in public schools to give to for profit schools - love it! Rapperβs selling rap music - YOUβRE HURTING CHILDREN!
I know itβs ten years old, and BO is a rapey SOB, but it was just so funny watching Fox News talk about how βrappersβ are evil for making money selling music. How it hurts kids, and Bill could never imagine the very idea of putting profits over children in Americaβ¦
Except for β¦literally everything else Fox has ever said or supported.
Maybe I missed the episodes where he tries to shame the CEO of Remington for profiting off of gun sales, or when he chastises Phillip-Morris-Kraft for profiting off of addicting children to nicotine?
Did I miss the episode where Fox told billionaires they need to be regulated more so theyβll stop saving money by dumping toxic chemicals instead of disposing of them properly?
Hurting children. Jesus-Fβin-Christ.
Everything the capitalists do hurts children.
But at least Fox is firm on one thing: nothing is worse for kids than artists selling music.

2024.05.21 17:55 reechoreechoreecho AE Podcast 08: Info/Lore on 3d Printed Ghost Guns
I was listening to the AE podcast and wanted to give some more info on 3d printed Ghost Guns.
Firstly,
we've come a long way since the Liberator. Cody Wilson's company, Defense Distributed, released the pistol in 2013 as a way to push the envelope in terms of what was possible under the 2A, with little regard towards it being a good pistol. This is why the Liberator has a reputation for exploding, which has caused many to be skeptical of 3d printed firearms to this day.
On the topic of printing metal, the process is actually quite basic and not at all new. The same year the Liberator was released, a company called Solid Concepts showed off a
metal printed 1911. Selective laser sintering lays a thin layer of a metal powder down in a sheet. A laser then melts a shape into it and then another layer of powder is spread on top. Then the laser melts this layer, bonding it to the previous and so on. The unmelted powder acts as support martial as the object is built. The idea back in the day was actually that this process would soon hit consumer prices, which is why Defense Distributed also released an "accurate" 3d model of the AR15 with the idea it could one day be fully printed in ones bedroom. In reality, the model was a mash up of poorly speced parts and video game assets, but again, they were more concerned with the statement it made.
Fast forward to a German man known as online as Jstark and US man IvanTheTroll who create a Discord group to correct the AR15 Model from Cody Wilson. This group became the orgins of a community called
Deterrence Dispensed. After releasing their much more accurate AR15 reference model, they pivoted to their most significant project, the
FGC-9 (Fuck Gun Control 9mm). The design would be an overhaul of an older 3d printed design the
Shutty, with a focus on being metric compatible, easily assembled, and require no firearm parts. The barrel was constructed from an "explosion proof hydraulic tube" sold on Aliexpress, and was rifled and chambered with a process known as ECM (Electro Chemical Machining). Essentially this process used electricity and salt water to eat away at material and form barrels very inexpensively. The fire control group could be harvested from an airsoft gun, and their documentation on assembly was an IKEA inspired guide with over 100 pages. This firearm has been widely produced around the world, including various EU countries, and is even used by
Myanmar rebels.
That's the most basic rundown. I've been around the community since the IRC chat days, and there's a ton more lore/info. Below are some more vids and images of some things to help you get an idea of where printed ghost guns are currently at.

2024.05.21 17:49 samplant17 [For Sale] Weird Genre Spread!! Bowie, Panic!, John Coltrane, Halsey, Soundtrack, etc!
Hey all! Been downsizing my collection, here's the first batch of records! Asking $5 to ship, prices are pretty flexible (most are priced to sell on discogs, I'm less of a Saleswoman(TM) on reddit/fb haha)
Also I've been grading p conservatively because I'm scared of grading too high :') Can send over photos of anything if you'd like! (sidenote if reddit eats my formatting I WILL cry and also will b coming back to edit this praying tho)
Beethoven, George Szell, The Cleveland Orchestra - Symphony No. 7 - VG+/G+ - $22 - Sleeve has ring wear & general shelf wear but looks pretty darn good! Small hole punched in top left corner. Inner sleeve is a tad discolored just from being?? old paper?? :) Record is in phenomenal condition!
BΓRNS - Live at KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic (RSD 2016 clear vinyl) - VG+/VG+ - $35 - Cover slightly worn from being shelved, only played this one a couple times, so record is juust shy of new! (This live session is straight up soooo good, if you like BORNS it's a must listen, tbh won't even be mad if this one stays in the collection xoxo)
David Bowie - The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust & the Spiders From Mars - VG/G+ - $16 - Record is in good shape! A few scratches, but nothing major. Definitely has some popping but still very listenable! The sleeve has one (taped) rip on the front, and wear on the edges, but fairly decent condition :)
David Bowie - Reality - NM/NM - $45 - Been played MAYBE once, has been in the plastic sleeve since I bought it! Record & sleeve in absolutely great condition, the only wear is really on the plastic outer sleeve, just from being shelved, hype sticker still intact.
David Bowie - β
(Blackstar) - VG+/VG - $45 - Played only a couple times, I'm the only owner! Sleeve has two creases bc of the cutout :( otherwise is in phenomenal condition, kicking myself for not leaving this one in a plastic sleeve :') Haven't done the "leave the sleeve in the sun" thing yet but I'm so so tempted if it's on my shelf much longer!!
Dean Martin - French Style (NOT LEGIT lol, from First Records press in Taiwan, circa 1967) - VG/G+ - $20 -Record is in great shape, some minor scratches, sleeve has a bit of wear, small rip in the plastic on the bottom corner of the back side, but for what it is it looks great!
Halsey - Badlands (UO Exclusive baby pink marble vinyl) - VG+/VG+ - $55 - Record was played a few times, but handled with care! Cover has slight wear from being shelved, but looks pretty darn good.
Herbie Mann/Bobby Jaspar - Flute Souffle - VG+/G+ - $30 - Sleeve has ring wear & little tapes on the spine (they're not covering holes idk why they're there?), some pencil writing on the back but is otherwise in pretty good condition! The record looks BEAUTIFUL, even has a lil sheen still :') (I made
this post about this release bc it doesn't
quite match any of the discogs entries based on the sleeve/labels/runouts?? It's not a release that's like wildly different based on release but it's still weird!)
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme - NM/VG+ - $55 - Record only removed to check for quality but has never been played, cover only really worn from being shelved!
Mark Ronson - Uptown Special (bright yellow vinyl) - VG+/VG+ - $40 - Record was played once or twice, cover has one corner slightly bent but otherwise very light shelved wear! Such a gorgeous color for it too!!
Panic! at the Disco - Vices & Virtues - VG+/VG+ - $70 - Record played a couple of times, but handled with care! Inner sleeve is near pristine, cover worn a bit from being shelved, has one small crease but has been well-handled.
Peter Gabriel - So - VG/VG - $40 - Record is in great shape!! One minor scratch on B-side (only really visible if you're looking!) Original inner sleeve in VG+ condition, outer sleeve has some shelf wear, mostly along bottom edge.
Shel Silverstein - Where the Sidewalk Ends - VG+/VG+ - $40 - Sleeve has some wear from being shelved, record is in great condition!
Various - The Wizard of Oz OMPST (75th anniversary, ruby red vinyl) - NM/NM - $75 - Plastic seal cut open just to check the color! (GORGEOUS ruby red!) Never been played, just ogled for a while :)
Various - Katamari Damacy OVGST (Blue/Yellow, Orange/Yellow 2x LP) - NM/VG+ - $300 - Records never played, only ever opened to appreciate! Cover slightly worn in cornefolding bits, but I've taken good care of her! The music kicks in my fight or flight though it's time to let it go to be loved! (I actually fucking adore this thing I feel like I'm rehoming a kitten)
