51% return: Element79 Gold collects over CAD 5 million for Maverick Springs! (CSE:ELEM, OTC:ELMGF)
4.4 million CAD in cash generated from the sale
Now the deal is done and dusted! As previously reported by Goldinvest.de, Element79 Gold (CSE ELEM / WKN A3EX7N) is selling the former main project of its Nevada project portfolio Maverick Springs to the Australian company Sun Silver. The process has dragged on, but now CEO James Tworek’s company can announce the exercise of the binding option agreement to complete the sale of Maverick Springs!

Element79 acquired the project in 2021 and has since developed it further. Among other things, a resource update was carried out, certifying Maverick Springs inferred resources of 3.71 million ounces of gold equivalent in accordance with the Canadian NI 43-101 standard.
Element79 had already started looking for financing partners for Maverick Springs last year, as the formerly producing Lucero gold mine was already coming into focus at that time. In August 2023, the company then negotiated and later signed the binding option agreement with Sun Silver.
Proceeds from the sale support Lucero development
Element79 is now focusing almost exclusively on the development of the high-grade Lucero project in Peru, where it sees the potential for a return to production in the foreseeable future. The proceeds from the Mavericks Springs transaction come at just the right time. According to Element79, the adjusted costs for the original acquisition of Maverick Springs were CAD 3.337 million, while the project can now be sold for CAD 5.033 million. This means that the value of Maverick Springs has been increased by CAD 1.696 million. This means an ROI (return on investment) of 51% – within just 28 months, as Element79 Gold calculates.
As the company further explains, the sale will generate a total of CAD 4.4 million in cash. In addition, Element79 will receive 3.5 million Sun Silver shares at AUD 0.20, which represents a fair market value of AUD 700,000. It is expected that the Sun Silver shares will be tradable on the ASX from approximately May 15.
According to Element79, it will use CAD 2.2 million of the proceeds from the sale to repay a loan in connection with the acquisition of the Nevada projects. The remaining capital will be used to fund other corporate projects and operations and to reduce capital debt and liabilities.
“The successful completion of the transaction underscores Element79’s unwavering commitment to executing its strategic plan,” said James Tworek, CEO of the company. “This is a critical milestone in the Company’s history: it is a testament to our team’s ability to create value through project execution and indicates a potential inflection point in our ongoing mission to build a stronger and more focused company; it underpins careful financial management by cleaning up the balance sheet from past efforts; and it provides non-dilutive capital to support operations and advance strategic exploration programs on our core properties to create further value for our investors.”
Conclusion: With the Maverick Springs transaction, we believe Element79 has not only shown that it is possible to create value for shareholders, but also that it is now possible to intensify efforts in relation to the ongoing exploration and optimization of the main Lucero project. This should be all the easier as the company is now in a much more stable financial position. We are excited to see what Element79 Gold can achieve this year.

2024.05.21 17:58 Snoo10889 No Classroom Management

So I have taken a long term substitute job.
I am at an elementary school which I love dearly: supportive staff, friendly colleagues and kind students - for the most part. I will be returning to this school next school year because I love it so much!
From the beginning of April until now, they assigned me to be the paraeducator in this one 5th grade class- I mainly help one student with special needs by keeping him on task and repeating things for him to write down.
This is where it gets frustrating beyond belief. The class travels to another room to do science with Ms. K (different name). Ms. K is a first year teacher with little to no classroom management. Students constantly get out of their seats, interrupt, and do off task things like coloring. 2 students in particular are CONSTANT PROBLEMS. Yesterday they were collectively in the class for maybe 5 minutes total? They remained in the doorway and in the halls. Ms. K is the type of teacher to just constantly “shhhh” while shes talking (annoying to me) and gives EMPTY WARNINGS. Ms. K warned the wandering students that if they don’t sit down she will call the Vice. One of the two students responded to her “i don’t give a fuck, call the vice.” Ms. K did NOTHING. The student kept saying i dont care i dont care call the vice. This was at the beginning of class and this student continued to remain out of his seat all class with more empty threats from Ms. K.
Why did she not call the vice?? She later tells me that she didn’t call because the vice would just tell the student to sit down and do their work but when she leaves he will be disruptive again. I was like ??? ok.
Ms. K threatens to take away recess time (new administrative rule that we can’t take away all of recess due to parent complaints) but rarely EVER does. There are just no consequences and the classroom is like a circus for 3/4 of class time.
I help with classroom management but there is only so much I can do as a paraeducator. I completely understand that it’s the end of May and everyone, including Ms. K, is checked out.
I’m wondering how or if I can make this situation better? A different 5th grade teacher who’s class is across the hall from Ms. K’s told me privately that Ms. K has GOT TO CONTROL HER CLASS. He said the kids in the hallway disrupt everyone and it’s why his door is always closed.
I don’t understand allowing the severve disrespect. I give students 2-3 chances before they receive a REAL consequence. I’m talking to fellow teacher friends at other schools and the consesus is it’s Ms. K’s job to step up which I know. But maybe the teachers of reddit have a tangible solution? Thank you!

2024.05.21 17:10 SoftJellyLove I feel like I'm about to lose my only friends

I've (16f) never had many friends growing up, and the few friendships I did have up until this point weren't exactly good ones. I've always had trouble making friends and because of this, not being as sociable enough as my peers has become a huge insecurity of mine, as well as simply feeling lonely. That was until this year, my 2nd year of high school, when I started hanging out with my now 2 closest friends. I was very close with one of them last year, but we weren't friends for a bit due to a misunderstanding. This year, however, we've formed this trio and they both genuinely mean so much to me.
Long story short, the problem arose today when I was talking to one of them, let's call her K. The other girl, let's call her P, wasn't in school today so it was only me and K. We were talking about how P is planning on transferring schools next year (cause she always says she hates this school and has some friends at the school she wants to transfer to) and we were talking about how we were a bit concerned how she would perform at the other school due to it being a public school and much more difficult than our private school, and P already having not very good grades and a poor work ethic. Then, K mentions to me that she's planning on switching schools too. Her parents currently aren't allowing her to do that, but her plan is that if a lot of people from our school switch schools next year (which I believe they will cuz most people don't like our school) she'll tell her parents how everyone is switching schools to convince them it's not a good school so they'd let her switch. Up until this point she herself had been against any of us in the trio switching schools, partly due to her own selfish reasons as well, so this was a huge surprise. She revealed she wanted to switch to another school cuz she had a friend there who (I believe) she recently started hanging out with, not sure though. Her parents certainly aren't allowing it as of right now, her dad even going as far as to convince ME not to switch, back when I wanted to, but I really don't know if her plan could change it.
I think my point is obvious, but I'm deathly scared of being alone. I don't know what I'll do if both of them leave me, knowing I practicaly have no other friends (I do have one other close friend but I practically never see her due to both of ours schedules and her strict parents). As I've mentioned, I've considered switching before but I have no idea where to go. Both of them have other friends they want to be in school with, but I have none. I'm also afraid of going to a school in which I know no one, cause by then it'd be my 3rd year of hs and eveeyone already has well established friendships by then and I feel like no one will want to hang out with me. Plus, I just genuinely love my friends so much and I don't know what I'd do without them and their jokes in class, our after school hangouts or our evening hangouts.
I'm secretly praying to God that at least one of them will stay, either P due to possibly not being accepted into her desired school due to bad grades (she had previously tried getting into the school at the beginning of this year and they told her she would be accepted but that they didn't have space in any classes, which I suspect might not be true because a few people who either go to that school or know someone who does, claim that they're pretty sure there is space, so the school may have been letting her down gently? Is that possible) or K not being allowed to switch due to her strict parents. I feel so selfish for thinking this and I'm a bad person, I know. I'll never try to talk them out of it cause, despite everything I said, I do wish the best for them and won't stand in their way. It just hurts though. I just can't be alone again, I couldn't be able to stand it. I don't think I'd have a reason to live if I were alone again.

2024.05.21 15:59 thedrunkenwarforged Monosyllabic Analytic Language with Consonant Mutation. Is this insane

Hello guys
Nautralistic artistic monosyllabic analytic language with consonant mutation. Is this insane? Obviously totally impractical but I like consonant mutation and I think it's a fun idea.
The idea is that this language in its old form (Old Language) will feature nasal, plosive, fricative, and approximant codas, but for now plosive codas are most important (example words would be like: pʰɔt ("red"), zeik ("horse"), maoq ("sun")). In adjectival pairings (so like, 'pʰɔt maoq' "red sun") and maybe some other scenarios, this language will develop consonant mutation, so the onset of the second word will switch to the place of articulation of the coda of the first word ('pʰɔt maoq' would become 'pʰɔt naoq', the place of articulation changing where the manner does not). Then following this, the language loses plosive codas (maybe tone will develop, I'm unsure, feel like that would maybe happen) so "sun" alone would be 'mao' where "red sun" would be 'pʰɔ nao'. So all words gain a particular grade ('pʰɔ' would be alveolar-grade, as words in an adjectival pairing with it would have their onset become alveolar). Anyway by this point it's translated into the modern form.
This language features six significant places of articulation which would affect consonant mutation: labial, alveolar, post-alveolar, velar, uvular, glottal. Glottal wouldn't matter too much because the only glottal sound (/h/) would occur on onsets, so no words would be glottal-grade. Same for post-alveolar, only post-alveolar sounds would be /ʃ/ and /ʒ/ which would occur only on onsets, so no post-alveolar grades. This leaves labial-, alveolar-, velar-, and uvular-grade. Then there are seven manners of articulation: nasal (m, n, ŋ~ɴ (the velar and uvular nasals would be allophones)); plain voiceless plosive (p, t, k, q); aspirated voiceless plosive (pʰ, tʰ, kʰ, qʰ); plain voiced plosive (b, d, g, ɢ (/ɢ/ would only occur due to mutations)); breathy voiced plosive (bʱ, dʱ, gʱ, ɢʱ (/ɢʱ/ would only occur due to mutations)); voiceless fricative (f, s, x~χ (allophone)), and voiced fricative (v, z, ɣ~ʁ (allophone)).
I wonder if this makes sense . So a labial-grade word (I'll label this word A) in an adjectival pair with a word (B) with an aspirated voiceless plosive onset would cause the /pʰ/ sound on the onset of word B. This would happen for all adjectival pairs.
Do you guys think this could feasibly happen . Total mashup of what I think is Celtic consonant mutation + transition from Classical to Mandarin Chinese. Would speakers let this mess gradually happen or would the loss of plosive codas even happen if there's consonant mutation? Thank you anyone who reads this mess

2024.05.21 14:52 FlipMovieScript Brookmount Exploration Inc ($BMXI) - Why should I take strong consideration in this GOLD mining and operator junior company?

Who is Brookmount Explorations, Inc?
Brookmount Explorations, Inc ($BMXI) is an operator of producing gold properties in the Republic of Indonesia. The Company currently operates 2 gold producing properties in volcanic hosted sediment within the tropical rain forest region of Sulawesi Province in north east Indonesia and is in the process of acquiring additional high grade properties in the area, which was originally surveyed and developed by Newmont Mining of the US. The Company is incorporated in Nevada and was organized for the purpose of acquiring, exploring and developing mineral properties. The Company recently acquired a 5000 hectare gold property in the Tintina gold belt in the Yukon area of Canada and a smaller property in the Alaska USA portion of the Tintina Gold Belt.
Why should I really strongly take consideration on this GOLD mining and operator junior company?
As of recent, Gold prices have been taken center stage with prices exceeding (($2400 / ounce)). That being stated, $BMXI has been putting together their 2021, 2022, and 2023 financial forms for inclusion for PCAOB Audit set to finish this MAY 2024 (has been worked on for some time now) being completed by a firm out of Australia called "Hall Chadwick".
One thing to note about this operator is that they are highly profitable off a single mine in Talawaan, Indonesia. While they have a heap leeching mine in Alason (starting back up this quarter), and recent purchases in United States and Canada (Atlin, McArthur, and Yukon), this Junior mining company is looking to expand, with a LOT of coin in their pocket. Here is a link to figures of their net income, profit, liabilities, total assets, and operating expenses:
Kevin C on X: "$BMXI u/brookmountgold is a Junior #mining operations company producing #gold in Indonesia, and soon in North America. With a 3-year #PCAOB #Audit to be completed (End of May), and future #Nasdaq #uplist, here is the #preciousmetals company by the numbers! $SPZI $IGBK $FBEC $PDGO https://t.co/kO0FaJjuzi" / X
Link to their disclosures: BMXI - Brookmount Explorations, Inc. Disclosure OTC Markets
As of current, their total assets exceed: $45,650,000
Total Liabilities: $2,700,000
Net Income: $10,000,000 (YoY)
Operating Expenses: $1,600,000 approx.
What is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO enticing about this company if the above doesn't already look good is that they are sitting on $20,000,000 in cash / gold reserves that is stuck in Talawaan, Indonesia, their first venture. As of today, they have agreed and accepted the conditions to buy out the entire Talawaan mine by June 30.
Part of the agreement with their partner in Talawaan, was that most, if not all the production would be held at that mine for operating costs and upkeep. That agreement will go away when Brookmount Explorations Inc ($BMXI) outright buys the entire mine.
Additionally, currently, they are starting to open back their Alason heep leeching mine that was forced closed during COVID. At that time and recently, they havent been able to start it back up because their cash has been held in Talawaan. To keep working, $BMXI, CEO Nils Olquist has to use Leonite Capital Hedge Fund ((3) Leonite Capital: Overview LinkedIn) as a capital alternative and dilute the stock so they could use funds to stay operational, while seizing on deals in the United States and Canada (This has come to an end, diluting has ended by Leonite).
Their plan is to get their North American mines up and running this summer 2024, break even, and be ready to run next season. In doing so, they needed cash infusion to pay for this land and seize the day while their cash is currently being held up until June 30 of this year.
They plan to spinoff the North American property into its own stock that is majority owned by Brookmount Explorations Inc, which also will end up being audited. For loyal shareholders, they will receive complimentary percentaged shares into the spinoff.
There is a lot planned and, in the works, but the central driving forces here is that END OF MAY the plan is for Hall Chadwick to finish the audit, and Brookmount Explorations Inc to list itself onto the Nasdaq Exchange. Recent tweet last night drives home the fact that the audit is finally coming to an end and all the financials will be solidified.
Brookmount Gold on X: "$BMXI We are pleased to announce that our CEO Nils Ollquist has just arrived in Melbourne, Australia, and will joined by CFO Chris Lim, and Board Member Fred Kempson at a meeting this week with representatives from our auditor, Hall Chadwick. The meeting will aim to address any" / X
You will not find Gold Mining outfits like this anywhere that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Undervalued while listing assets, net income, and liabilities this company has. For instance, compare it to $SDRC, which sits at $.30 and hasnt produced gold. You can compare this stock equivalently to Nasdaq gold mining stocks and our comparable blows them out of the water. You can do the math. The EPS of $BMXI is .10-.12.

This successful demonstration marks a significant milestone in integrated photonics, blending Silicon photonics with polymer materials. Building on this demonstration, both parties are aiming to enhance the modulators to ensure these advanced components are readily accessible to product companies on a manufacturing scale.
Dr. Michael Lebby, Chairman and CEO of Lightwave Logic, commented: "AMF is truly a world class facility with their silicon photonics maturity, and capacity for volume manufacturing. Working with AMF, we not only increased our wafer size to 200-mm, but we also turbo-boosted silicon photonics with our polymer slot modulators to achieve world class performance. Engineers from both sides have worked hard to achieve a silicon photonics design that integrates smoothly with polymer – a process that would have been much more challenging if other next-generation modulator materials had been utilized. This accomplishment puts our company in a very strong position to ramp volume both for our polymers as well as 200-mm silicon wafer volume with AMF."
Mr Jagadish C.V, CEO of AMF, stated: "Lightwave Logic's EO polymer modulators have been demonstrated to support higher baud rates, low power consumption, all while preserving their compact size. These features, integrated with AMF Silicon Photonics platform, make them cost effective options for 4X200 Gb/s (800Gb/s) and next-generation 1.6Tb/s pluggable transceivers applications. This demonstration opens exciting opportunities to develop novel solutions for commercial-grade-compatible EO polymer modulators seamlessly integrated with AMF's standard processes. We are keen to continue to explore the synergies between EO polymer modulation on our foundry processes, to provide innovative and manufacturable technology solutions for data communication."
About Advanced Micro Foundry Advanced Micro Foundry (AMF), Singapore is the world's first specialty Silicon Photonics foundry. AMF offers a full spectrum of manufacturing, prototyping, and testing services, all supported by proprietary technology platforms. These platforms are enhanced by continuously evolving Process Design Kits (PDKs), which are designed in-house for applications in sectors like Telecom, Data Centers, LiDAR, and Sensors. CPU - Following the graphics card, the processor stands as the second most pivotal element in your gaming laptop. Although the GPU generally bears the brunt of gaming demands, the CPU significantly influences overall system performance and holds the potential to bottleneck the GPU's capabilities. Gaming laptops housing more robust GPUs are often accompanied by 8-core processors. In the mid-range spectrum spanning $400 to $800, you'll typically find quad-core CPUs. While dual-core CPUs can handle gaming, they aren't optimal since sustaining boosted clock speeds might not always be achievable.

RAM is generally the most straightforward laptop component to upgrade. So, if you're working with a tight budget, you have the option to choose a laptop with lower RAM and later upgrade it yourself. Overspending on RAM is unnecessary; 16 GB is sufficient for gaming. However, considering 32 GB can provide future-proofing for your laptop.
Storage-wise, if your budget permits, it's advisable to select a laptop equipped with an SSD for storage. An SSD can significantly enhance a laptop's speed, particularly when compared to an HDD. This translates to reduced boot times and quicker load times, resulting in noticeably improved performance.

2024.05.21 10:50 Apprehensive_Mood_85 THANK YOU BISHOP!!!!

A few weeks ago, I felt dejected upon seeing my results for the USTET and ACET, both were my dream schools but unfortunately I didn't get in. I hoarded the past posts of people in Tomasino and the ateneo sub especially in the megathread in hopes I may be able to get myself reconsidered, from getting details such as the formatting to understanding the purpose, contents, and such of the reconsideration letter which I was able to make at least a week after the results were released. There was this one particular comment though which set me interacting with people of prestige and that involved the letter of endorsement.
The comment detailed how his friend was able to get into UST after talking to a Dominican Priest whom she was able to show her masterful works. That drove me into actively looking for priests to talk to myself. I didn't know anyone, nor did I know the process, but I was ready, I was ready to be interviewed, ready to show my works, ready to endorse myself to whomever was willing to help me in my endeavor, which also involved helping my friend attain a letter of his own. I asked my church friends if they knew any, and even joined religious groups on facebook to see if I could get into contact with anyone and after a while in passivity, a church leader friend messaged me. Apparently, he knew a Dominican friar and so, I pleaded with him which I really didn't have to given we were close and he was really willing to help. After detailing my situation, he set us up with the said friar in the Sto. Domingo church.
Fast forward to a week later, we were able to have an insightful conversation with him, but unfortunately he said he couldn't help our situation but recommended me to go into UST to talk to the priests there, or as an alternative which my aforementioned church leader friend and a priest from the church endorsed, approach the bishop of Cubao himself. I do admit that the meeting demoralized me, and I went home rather broken but a good sleep, short conversation with a friend whom I was also helping get into UST, and Miki Matsubara's Mayonaka No Door later, and I'm back in the game. I wrote a letter to the bishop for the both of us and asked his hand in endorsing us, especially that we were alumni in the school that housed the seat of the Diocese with weights to carry. Honestly, I wasn't really able to pour my heart and soul into that letter, unlike my reconsideration letters for ADMU and UST which I worked on in a computer shop for better focus, and I thought it wasn't written that well, but I gave what I could give, and was ready to face the uphill process I thought it was going to face. It helped that we had a late mother's day dinner to seal the day too.
A day later, I went to the obispado and gave the letter to the guard with whom I conversed with again after an errand in school regarding my DLSU grades form. He told me to come back yesterday and I did, unfortunately, still nothing but this time the different person on the desk asked me for my contact details. I was optimistic, and was willing to wait even more, but I didn't think it would be as quick as one day later. This morning, at least hours after I had once again checked my emails for updates, they called and told me to return. I was excited, and rushed to leave. "This is it" I thought. "We finally got an endorsement letter!" The guard enthusiastically gave them to me and the sister, whom I assume was Bishop's secretary, asked me to check if it was alright to avoid any issues and after reading the short but meaningful contents, I was happy.
My happiness was fanned further by seeing the K-Wave canned coke finally arrive in the Philippines after having it in Osaka.
Although right now time and slots are our enemy, being endorsed by the bishop is a good thing, a relatively big milestone, and a good impression I suppose to both universities run by Catholic orders. I didn't get any letters from either the Jesuits or Dominicans, but I am happy I got to meet with the latter in the quest for España and Katipunan. Thank you so much bishop!!!!
I suppose this deserves a little celebration 'no?

2024.05.21 06:51 Proof_Ad_5770 Another anniversary

Huh, so I just realized that this coming weekend will be 10 years since the last time I was physically sexually assaulted.
I was molested by a neighbor during pre-school so don’t know what the Anniversary date of that was, and was raped/molested/traded out by my older brother from 3rd grade - 8th grade so don’t really have any Anniversary dates for that Just other triggers. I was gang raped by a group of high schoolers when I was in 6th grade but it all blended in with everything else and I knew I couldn’t tell anyone after what happened when I told my mom about the neighbor and my brother when I was 10 so no real adversary date for that either. My older brother tried to rape me one last time when I was 18 in August but again, just blends. When I was 23 I had a stalker for a year that broke in 3 times and raped me but that was back in the early 2000’s when universities didn’t take that stuff seriously at all so I just tried to kill myself. It wasn’t the first time. The first time I tried that was when I was 10 and my mom yelled at me for trying to embarrass her. Just like later when I started to cut myself she said that if I messed up her summer plans she would kill me, I guess if I had been smarter I could have gotten her to kill me instead of trying to hang myself and taking jars of pills.
My liver was destroyed at 20 years old from trying to kill myself with Tylenol… No one tells kids that they pump your stomach but Tylenol destroys your liver and kills you slowly.
Anyway so where was I? Oh my early 20’s. Things calmed down for a little bit other than having an unmedicated traumatized bipolar husband and having to take care of him and my mother and brother and everyone else because I’m a people pleaser and have no value.
Oh I forgot to talk about how I was stabbed in the face and my brother used to test the sharpness of his knives on me and hold me down and burn me with a magnifying glass. He was the golden child and I had to testify in court about what a great role model he was and great big brother when he was arrested for bringing a gun to school.
So my husband liked to open our marriage every once in a while which I am not a fan of but no one loves me anyway so there it is and fast forward to 2014 and I was hospitalized for trying to kill myself again and was unconscious for several days because I got much better at getting the pill mix right and I tried to have friends for a change which I never do and so went camping with friends and woke you with an uninvited dick k in my mouth that I just didn’t want there and then he kicked the crap out of me and told everyone I messed up his vibes… so back to not having friends.
I have done everything in my power to make my life as good as possible since then. I have always worked hard and has respectable jobs and taken care of the people around me…
Now I have a neighbor who threatens to rape and kill me regularly and has for a year and a half (he’s been arrested for felony stalking and threats but they released him and keep pushing back trial so I can’t go outside other than to run to my car for work), my brother who abused me stole everything from my parents after they died even though I took care of them 24/7 and did all the worker to take care of their estates so I’m in a court case against him but never want to see his child raping ass again, my last job literally bullied me so badly because I’m autistic that I could barely function and they broke tons off laws but I can’t ignore stuff like that or injustice so now I’m a plaintiff in a case against them as well… my husband… he’s always unhappy and snippy and never hears a word I say it’s about him or something he wants.
And last week a client I was driving home described how he wanted to rape me in great detail and my boss acted like I should just be cool with that.
Today a client offered to have sex with me. I know I’m fat/ugly/unfashionable and I always nip anything inappropriate in the bud when they hint at it - but there it is.
Honestly, in the other side of all that with a husband who has no interest in me except how he sees me fulfilling his image of his goals and needs but who has been going through a medicating juggling nightmare for 5 years and sees straight through me, I need to get laid so bad (a I am not going to have sex with my client, not even an option, I have crazy strict levels of ethics and it would be har full/predatory to him and I actually do the work I do to HELP folks.)
Why can’t someone ever like me for me though and not sick transference ways or just using me?
Why do I bring this shit out in people?

2024.05.21 06:43 Spirited-Tonkatsu PREMATURE DEATH OF MY CAREER..

Some contexts:
24M Attorney. Worked as an Associate at a firm that had only one lawyer. He was my boss. Unfortunately, he let me go. Ang sad lang nung reason which is:
He's off to Dubai for three months and he can't trust me enough to "man the fort" while he's gone.
Madami pending cases ang firm and I've drafted several pleadings and appeared several times before different courts despite my short stay. Yet, I was laid off.
Nakakalungkot kasi tuloy padin naman ang operation ng firm. Iba na nga lang ang lawyers na hahawak ng cases and I don't even know who these lawyers are. On top of that, I don't know why hindi ako pagkatiwalaan. Hindi naman ako incompetent and sumusunod naman ako sa directives. Diligent din akong pumapasok, always early, never late.
I feel like my effort and time went to waste and now I have no fall back. I'm jobless once again. Hanap nanaman ng bago. Should I even mention this sa next interview ko or should I just say wala padin akong work experience?
Idk. Maybe I was just unlucky sa pinasok ko. It sucks because this is my first time working (given that I was a full-time student ever since) and ganun na agad track record ko. Di manlang naka 6 months. Ang sad ng bati sakin ng working era.
(btw, since a lot of people asked, 1999 baby ako. my birthday is December 24. and yes di ako inabot k-12 plus accel din. deretso Grade 1 ako. Hernando bar passer ako. Was even bullied for being young. usually 1997-1998 kabatch ko)
(I've read your responses everyone and I really appreciate them. Pasenya nalang din kung OA sa "death" part. I was laid off literally today so heightened pa ang emotions at the time of posting.
May napansin ako nag tanong kung may feedback ba sa work ko. Wala naman major. just some typos (for instance "that that" but nothing fatal naman sa case. grammar, material dates, names, and annexes were in order. no comments din naman on how I argued sa pleadings at sa mga cinicite kong jurisprudence. As for appearances in court, okay din naman except for that one time the judge said "pleasure, counsel?" and i had no idea how to respond.
In any case, I appreciate your responses guys/girls.
I don't hate my boss naman. Tbh I'm actually afraid of him. Maybe isa na din yon. I should've communicated more but i feared na asking questions meant I was incompetent and ayaw kong isipin nya yon istg.
Baka may di na pala sya gusto pero unaware ako since I didn't ask. Even itong vent na to. He doesn't know. I just smiled and told him:
No problem po attorney I fully understand. Mas mabuti na talagang sa seasoned lawyers ipahawak ang cases ng firm. Name nyo din po kasi nakasalalay.
nung kinausap nya ako about letting me go.
I'll post an update here pag naka kita na ako bagong work. Thanks Reddit. Thanks People of Reddit! Blessings to you all po.)

🔗InfiRay Rico G-LRF 640 Thermal Scope with Precision Laser Range Finding

https://preview.redd.it/ipzwabd8ip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dfe751b4d258882f5dd432af5fd7e62205c5d8a8
I've been using the InfiRay Rico G-LRF 640 50mm Thermal Clip On Scope in my outdoor adventures, and it's been quite the game-changer for me. One of the standout features is the precision laser range-finding module. It ensures accurate measurement up to 1000 yards, which has really helped me in my hunt for game.
The 1024×768 AMOLED display provides a crisp, high-contrast image, making it easier for me to spot my quarry, even in the harshest conditions. I also love the fact that it comes with two batteries right out of the box, saving me the trouble of making a trip to the store for extra power.
However, there's one thing I wish was different – the battery life could be longer. That being said, the performance I've experienced with this thermal scope has made it well worth the investment.

🔗InfiRay Mini V2 Thermal Imager: Compact, Powerful, and Easy to Use

https://preview.redd.it/t7ehr9j8ip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be388ad07acc6f229d02d666c24f53180dc08d91
I recently had the chance to try out the InfiRay Outdoor MINI MH25 V2 thermal imager, and let me tell you, it was quite an experience. The first thing that caught my attention was its sleek, lightweight design, perfect for both handheld and helmet-mounted use. The seamless transition between handheld and helmet-mounted operation was a game-changer for me.
One of the most remarkable features of this thermal imager is its next-generation MATRIX III processing, which delivers an unmatched viewing experience. The upgraded AMOLED display, along with the eyepiece and onboard video and audio recording, truly enhanced my overall experience. While the power supply options might seem straightforward, they are essential for the device's functionality. The unique housing material made of aluminum and ABS adds to the durability and overall aesthetic appeal.
Although the InfiRay MINI MH25 V2 offers digital magnification up to 8X, it's crucial to note that the optical magnification is only 1X. Additionally, some users might find the manual focus mechanism a bit less convenient. Nonetheless, the device's image capture and onboard recording capabilities along with the user-updatable firmware certainly make up for it.
In conclusion, the InfiRay Outdoor MINI MH25 V2 is a versatile thermal imager that offers a range of features to enhance the user experience. Personally, the seamless operation, powerful processing, and overall build quality stood out to me. However, the manual focus and slightly higher price point may deter some potential users.

🔗High-Resolution Thermal Rangefinder for Hunting and Wildlife Detection

https://preview.redd.it/50hmclz8ip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae948d3e87ff5730d809366913c230bbbfa3d5b9
I've been using the Covert Optics ThermX HS1 Thermal for a while now, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. I've had some thrilling experiences using this thermal scope. The black Lepton 3.5 micro core sensor with 160x120 sensor resolution and a 9hz frame rate has been remarkable in detecting even the slightest of movements. It's like having an extra pair of eyes when you're out in the woods!
This device is perfect for both day and night hunting situations. The 1.5" OLED color display with 160x128 resolution is so vivid, it provides remarkable clarity even in low light conditions. It's just like having a cinematic view of the world around you.
One of the things I love about this product is its simplicity. The 3-button control system is a breeze to navigate. It's like having a remote control for the real world. You can easily change settings, adjust the display palette, and even adjust the brightness to suit any lighting situation.
The HS1 is compact, lightweight and can be easily mounted. I've used it for tracking game and detecting predators, and it has worked wonders for me. I have to say, I'm a fan.
However, one thing I didn't like about it is there were some issues with the video sticking every now and then. I found it a bit frustrating, especially when I was tracking an animal, and it suddenly froze on the screen.
Overall, the Covert Optics ThermX HS1 Thermal is a fantastic tool for any hunter. It provides clear, accurate, and reliable images, making wild game detection a breeze. Remember, practice makes perfect, so don't be discouraged if you encounter some initial issues.

🔗Professional Thermal Imaging Camera for Inspection Applications

https://preview.redd.it/s3hr8xd9ip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d44d4ef6e8571fa2561de732ed3743b644209d1a
I recently had the opportunity to try the Hikmicro M11W thermal imaging camera with a fixed focus lens. This handheld device was designed for professional inspections of large objects, particularly those where a wider field of view is necessary to capture more of the scene in a single picture.
Its 192 x 144 resolution thermal detector and 37.5° x 27.9° fixed focus lens are impressive features that stood out to me. The high-resolution 3.5-inch touchscreen displayed crisp, clear images and made camera operations quite intuitive. I particularly liked the multiple image modes available - thermal, optical, fusion, and picture-in-picture; they allowed me to make accurate temperature measurements and quantify the impact of potential faults.
The M11W's sensitivity of 40 mK (NETD), as well as its Super IR resolution, provided a distinct thermal vision of the target. The camera also came with a laser spot, which made it easier to narrow down and focus on specific areas of interest. Overall, I found the Hikmicro M11W to be a reliable and efficient tool for large-object inspections.

🔗Burris BTH35 V2 Thermal Imaging Scope: 3.3-13.2x Magnification and 400x300 Resolution

https://preview.redd.it/js2tmvx9ip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=000f27f09034f7766117de06ed51e1fff34460dd
I recently had the chance to take the Burris BTH BTH35 V2 Thermal Imaging Handheld out on a hunting trip, and I must say, it was a game-changer. The device's hot track feature allowed me to track animals in their natural habitat with ease, making them more visible in low light conditions.
Its 10 reticle options provided me with the flexibility to choose the perfect aiming assistant for my eyes and shooting style. After spending a few hours using this device, I discovered that it held up quite well in varying weather conditions, thanks to its IP67 weatherproof rating. One area where it could improve, however, is the battery life, as 5 hours might be a bit short for extended outings in cold weather.
Nevertheless, this thermal imaging handheld device proved to be an excellent companion during my recent hunting trip.

🔗High-Performance Clip-On Thermal Scope for Outdoor Exploration

https://preview.redd.it/kfay5z7aip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95a86bd62dbc42a57ba90e29ce7b12bf25c35e0c
I recently had the chance to try out the InfiRay Rico Micro 384 2x 25mm Multi in my daily life, and let me tell you, it made a huge difference. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it was, weighing less than a pound. I found it easily fit in my palm, and it gave me the freedom to use it in multiple ways – handheld, helmet mount, and even rifle-mounted.
What truly sets this device apart from others is its advanced thermal technology. It's packed with features such as onboard recording, playback, and high definition AMOLED display, all of which are unheard of in helmet-mounted thermals. It also comes with a state-of-the-art 384x288, 12 μm sensor, making it so much more accurate compared to other thermals on the market.
However, I did notice that sometimes the manual-focus f/1.0 objective lens could be a bit tricky to handle, but overall, it's a small price to pay for the wealth of features this device offers. And I'm definitely looking forward to using it during hunting season!

🔗Raptor RQ50LN: Advanced 940 NM IR Thermal Imaging Camera for Outdoor Exploration

https://preview.redd.it/3cjvp6saip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=04bdfebec66f2f1c8a0ca8892fe79e25801184e8
I recently got my hands on the HikMicro Raptor RQ50LN 940 nm IR, and let me tell you, it's a game changer when it comes to outdoor activities. Whether you're hunting for game in the nighttime or tracking a hiker on a mountain, this little guy can handle it all.
The best part is the adjustable 940 nm infrared lamp. It works day and night, and the thermal imaging is just incredible - it helps you spot even the smallest animals or people from miles away. The lens size of 50mm doesn't hurt, either.
However, it's not all roses. The Raptor is a bit bulky, and the battery life could use some tweaking. But when you're in the wilderness, a little bulkiness and need for some battery swaps are worth it for the unmatched performance.
Overall, the HikMicro Raptor RQ50LN 940 nm IR has become my go-to for outdoor adventures, and I can't imagine going back to the old ways of hunting and tracking without the added benefits of this powerful thermal imaging camera.

🔗Next-Gen Wi-Fi Rechargeable Thermal Imager with High-Resolution Images and Three Color Palettes

https://preview.redd.it/b8n1acxaip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3626479e7ed09a879a34cf6e3facc000bb783f4
The Klein Tools TI270 is an impressive rechargeable thermal imager that truly stands out from the crowd. The high-definition display makes it easy to spot hidden hot and cold spots, while the Wi-Fi capability allows you to easily save and share your thermal images through the Klein Tools app, available on both Google Play Store and the App Store. This lightweight tool also comes with three color palettes for precise temperature capture, along with adjustable high and low temperature alarms.
Overall, the Klein Tools TI270 is a game-changer for those seeking a reliable and cutting-edge thermal imaging solution.

🔗Pulsar Proton FXQ30 Thermal Imaging Kit - Compact Hunting Clip-On

https://preview.redd.it/7rj3wyabip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=569f0512867898bfbf87e8dc4824bb45884d15c8
I recently had the chance to give the Pulsar Proton FXQ30 Thermal Handheld Front Attachment a try, and let me tell you, the experience was both enlightening and thrilling! This nifty little gadget is a perfect companion for all those who love outdoor activities like hunting or pest control.
One of the standout features is its high-quality 17-micron thermal imaging sensor, which boasts an impressive resolution of 384x288 pixels and a NETD of just 40mk – not bad at all! It fits neatly onto your handheld unit, transforming it into a powerful thermal imager in no time.
While it may not be the smallest gadget in my kit, the Proton FXQ30 makes up for its size with versatility. It's compatible with several devices and comes with a convenient video recorder, a long-lasting battery, and even WiFi functionality. Just imagine, you can connect it to your smartphone or tablet using the free Stream Vision app – now that's a feature I can't get enough of!
However, there's a small catch. I noticed that the image quality isn't always perfect and sometimes could be a bit grainy. Nonetheless, I believe the pros far outweigh the cons, making this a worthy investment for any outdoor enthusiast.

🔗HikMicro Raptor RH50LN 940 nm IR Thermal Imaging Camera: Powerful Multi-Functional Outdoor Scope

https://preview.redd.it/tjd3udubip1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6d7806d3eb535917b99c5bfa7090dbace1258a7
I've had the pleasure of using the HikMicro Raptor for a week now, and let me tell you, this thing is a game-changer. It's a digital binocular with a thermal imaging module and an optical module, all powered by a 940 nm infrared lamp. That means it's not just great for daytime viewing, but also brilliant at night. I took it out on a hike, and it made the forest come alive with detail.
One thing I especially love is the laser rangefinder on this baby. It can measure distances up to 1000 meters! Talk about precision. And let's not forget about the GPS and compass features that help you figure out where you are and where you're going.
But that's not all. This little wonder is housed in a rugged magnesium casing that's both lightweight and durable. It's perfect for long outdoor sessions, and the 3 18650 batteries it comes with are more than enough to power it through.
However, nothing's perfect. The Raptor has a 25 Hz refresh rate, which might not be the smoothest in its class. But honestly, in my experience, I haven't notice a significant impact on the overall image quality.
All in all, the HikMicro Raptor is a powerful and versatile tool for any outdoor enthusiast. Its multitude of features, coupled with its high-quality durability, makes it a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor experiences.

As a reviewer, I've been using the AGM Rattler TC35-640 in my daily life. This compact thermal imaging clip-on system transforms my day optics into a thermal imaging device, without any need for special tools or equipment. The high sensitivity 12μm thermal detector and 640x512 resolution have provided clear images even in harsh conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, wood, camouflage, and more. The product's applicability extends to patrolling and hunting scenarios.

In my day-to-day life, I often find myself troubleshooting various issues that involve spotting hot and cold spots. With the Klein Tools TI220 Thermal Imager, I can easily identify these spots and diagnose problems more accurately. The 10,800-pixel resolution delivers excellent detail, and it's effortless to capture images and videos for storage and sharing.
One feature that stood out to me was the user-selectable touchscreen temperature readouts, which helped me quickly pinpoint high and low temperatures, as well as differential readings. The wide temperature range of -4 to 752 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 400 degrees Celsius) in three color palettes made it versatile for different scenarios.
However, there were a few drawbacks I encountered. Focusing the camera proved to be a bit of a challenge, and the definition wasn't as sharp as I would have liked. Additionally, the storage case could have been improved to prevent it from opening too easily during transport.
Despite these minor issues, the Klein Tools TI220 Thermal Imager for Android Devices proved to be a valuable tool in my repair and maintenance work. Its ease of use, compatibility with various Android devices, and the availability of a free app make it a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of a portable thermal imaging solution.

As an avid hunter, I've always prioritized safety while trekking through the wilderness. When I first heard about the Muddy Safe-Line 30" Durable Nylon Outdoor Hunting & Tree Stand System, I knew it would revolutionize my outdoor experiences.
One day, I ventured into the dense forest, armed with nothing but my rifle and the Muddy Safe-Line System. As I climbed my tree stand, I felt a strong sense of security. This 30-inch long nylon rope, durable enough for its advertised 300-pound weight capacity, stretched before me. The Prusik knots felt reassuringly comfortable as they guided me up the tree. In the low light of the forest, the rope's visibility played a crucial role.
However, this wasn't all about safety; it also made my climbing experience seamless. The nylon rope was flexible enough to adjust to my movement, making climbing and descending a fluid affair. Yet, it maintained a solid grip, ensuring I never lost my footing.
In essence, the Muddy Safe-Line System is a vital tool for hunters seeking a balance between safety and ease of use. Its unique features ensure it's worth the investment for any hunter. Whether it's your first time climbing a tree stand or you're a seasoned pro, this durable nylon rope system is a game-changer, promising a safer and more enjoyable hunt.

I recently gave the Realtree EZ Rope a shot, and let me tell you, it made my tree stand experience so much better. With its 25-foot length, hoisting my gear up was a piece of cake, thanks to the easy-to-handle plastic handle.
The EZ Rope even came with an extra-sturdy coated carabiner that securely locked onto my tree stand. The nylon braided rope, with its reflective threads, allowed me to locate my stand in the dark with ease.
But be careful - if you're not careful, the rope can get tangled up in a mess. All in all, the Realtree EZ Rope was a handy addition to my tree stand setup, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their hunting life a bit easier.

🔗Stainless Steel Climbing Tree Stand Replacement Cable

https://preview.redd.it/qvsljgc8gp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1877b1129943d0474b44445b7743ca1ea7e3bbab
Sometimes, you need a reliable replacement cable for your climbing tree stand. That's when the Eder Stainless Steel Cable comes in handy. This durable cable is priced per foot, so you only order the exact length you need.
A 3/32" diameter ensures it's sturdy yet lightweight. I've had great experiences with this cable, but the drawback is that you have to calculate the number of feet you need before placing the order.

🔗Safe-Line Climbing Tree Stand Replacement Cables for Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/fj25qvn8gp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb7834c7dbc70ff942876ba7cac9a0020e0a0955
I recently had the chance to try the Muddy Safe-Line 30" Durable Nylon Outdoor Hunting & Tree Stand System, and I must say, it has become my go-to for all my hunting tree stand adventures. The first thing that stood out was the safety aspect - knowing that I had a reliable system to climb up safely, no matter the condition, was a relief.
The product's durability was impressive too, as it withstood the wear and tear of climbing up and down trees numerous times. The nylon rope stretched to 30 inches, making it perfect for my needs and providing a smooth climbing experience.
However, it's not all smooth sailing. One downside I've noticed is that when the weather gets rainy, it can take some time to dry, which can be inconvenient. But overall, this Muddy Safe-Line system has made my hunting excursions much safer and more enjoyable.

🔗Tough, versatile 7/16 climbing rope for arborist and tree work

https://preview.redd.it/71wp2n29gp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8495a2cadbe0fd8f66549a6fb3438e249bffa3d
As an arborist, I've always been on the lookout for a reliable climbing rope that can withstand the harsh elements and resist chemical damage. The 7/16" Arborist-24 Climbing Rope was a game changer for me. It's not your standard rope – it's made specifically for professionals like me, who need to tackle complex tree work.
One of the most impressive features of this rope is its 24-strand construction. This doubles the strength, making it a reliable option for heavy-duty tree maintenance. The nylon core is both durable and flexible, ensuring a seamless climbing experience. And I love the double-ply braid design – it gives the rope an added level of toughness.
The polyester cover is what really sets this rope apart. Its chemical resistance is top-notch, meaning it'll stand up to all kinds of environmental hazards without a hitch. Plus, it's incredibly smooth to the touch, making it a pleasure to handle.
The 7/16" diameter is ideal for my line of work, providing a good balance of strength and control. The rope is also lightweight, which is a big plus when you're spending long hours in the tree canopy.
There are a couple of downsides to this rope, though. First, it needs more maintenance than some other ropes – the chemical resistant polyester cover can be a bit more high-maintenance. Also, the factory splicing eyes can be beneficial but they do lower the minimum breaking strength to 5,400 lbs, which might be a concern for some users.
All in all, the 7/16" Arborist-24 Climbing Rope is a fantastic choice for arborists and anyone else dealing with demanding tree work. Its toughness, smoothness, and ideal diameter make it a standout product in its category.

🔗Tough Winch Cable for Tree Stand Replacements

https://preview.redd.it/kkm16ke9gp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b712c79ca95da52534e8250f0004bf72c52deb90
The Badland 3/8 in. x 65 ft. Replacement Winch Cable with Hook is a sturdy and versatile aid for those needing to tackle tough tasks that require a winch. As someone who has personally put this cable to use, I can attest to its reliability and effectiveness.
The cable's heavy gauge steel construction and zinc plating make it a formidable force against rust, ensuring durability in even the harshest environments. Its aircraft grade braided wire design gives it the strength to handle some seriously heavy loads without fraying or snapping.
I appreciated how the cable comes equipped with a heavy-duty drop forged clevis hook, which makes it easy to attach to various objects needing to be pulled or lifted. The hook's robust build added an extra layer of confidence when tackling challenging jobs.
One of the most significant advantages of this product is its versatility. Users have reported using it for a wide range of tasks, from assisting with tree removal and stump pulling to towing large truck trailers out of tricky situations.
However, the cable's longer length might prove a bit unwieldy for some users who only require a shorter cable for their tasks. It could be helpful if there were options available in different lengths to cater to various needs.
In summary, the Badland 3/8 in. x 65 ft. Replacement Winch Cable with Hook is an excellent tool for those who need a long, heavy-duty winch cable with enough strength to tackle even the most challenging jobs. Despite its occasional limitations, it remains a top choice for those who require a dependable and versatile winch cable.

🔗Versatile 30ft Braided Steel Cable for Secure Locking

https://preview.redd.it/95n2cv0agp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0b191dc2a60087ded7488ee789cb86768483becc
Imagine a cable that's not just flexible, but strong and durable enough to secure your precious gear. That's what you get with the Trimax Versa-Cable Trimaflex Braided Steel Cable.
Its unique weave design allows you to easily lock up items like bikes, tools, patio furniture, and more, while its interchangeable nature lets you customize its length to your needs. The cable effortlessly transitions from securing a bike rack to locking up your jet ski, making it the ultimate versatile solution for various scenarios.
It's the perfect addition to your security arsenal and a must-have for all your outdoor adventures.

🔗No-Burn Treestand Hoist Rope for Tree Stands Up to 25 Feet

Recently, I had the opportunity to use the 30-06 No Burn Treestand Hoist Rope in my tree stand hunting setup. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it worked, and the no-burn aspect made it incredibly safe to use.
The large carabiner clip made clipping and unclipping the rope simple, while the 4-inch tubing helped protect my fingers as I let the rope down. However, I did notice that the rope wasn't long enough for my 25-foot tree. Overall, this product stood out for its safety features and easy use, but it would be ideal if it came in a longer length too.

🔗30' Safety Line for Hunting Tree Stands

https://preview.redd.it/ljbaukxagp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df5a659c8c036cf3e097bc4e994c40cb251a81ab
When I first got my hands on the Summit Treestand SU83102 Safety Line, I could feel the quality in the materials. The 30-foot length allows for plenty of range when ascending and descending the tree. One of the standout features for me was the dual slide-and-grip prusik knots. They made it easy to adjust and move without needing more than one hand, making the entire process smooth and efficient.
However, I did notice that the safety line wasn't the most affordable option on the market. It's a bit of an investment, but for those who prioritize safety while hunting, it's well worth the price. With a weight capacity of 300 lbs, it's a reliable and secure choice for anyone looking to climb trees with ease. Overall, I'd recommend the Summit Treestand SU83102 Safety Line to anyone seeking a high-quality, dependable climbing safety line.

🔗Helo Hang On Tree Stand Replacement Cables

https://preview.redd.it/t751m4kbgp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2c394ceaa6402d3a252cc543b53bfa56aca3eb1
I recall last season when I decided to invest in brand new climbing tree stand replacement cables for my Lone Wolf Alpha, after learning about the importance of safety. This product, Hang On Cables, turned out to be an excellent purchase that I couldn't be happier with. Not only did the cables fit perfectly into the stand, but they also came with all the necessary hardware for installation. The peace of mind that came with this purchase has made a significant difference in my hunting experience.
However, I did encounter one minor issue with the knob of the platform leveling assembly on one of my cables. It required some creativity with needle nose pliers to remove the nylon lock nut, but I managed to get it done. But aside from this small hurdle, the customer service and overall quality of the product have been above my expectations.
With Hang On Cables in place, I've been able to enjoy a safer and more secure hunt, knowing that I have the right protection to prevent any unwanted incidents.

🔗High-Strength Industrial Accessory Cord for Climbing and Industrial Applications

I've been using this Cypher 300' Accessory Cord for climbing, and I must say, it has made my life so much easier. The vibrant green color not only looks great but also makes it easier for me to spot as I'm scaling the tree. The high-strength nylon construction of this cord is impressive, and it has handled the rigorous demands of my climbing adventures without any issues.
However, one thing I noticed was that the spool it comes in can sometimes be a bit tricky to close, but overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

🔗Secure Tree Stand Cable Lock Set for Protection

https://preview.redd.it/y4s0abmcgp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb14cac41605f9dd25a2d7f2b909590862fd16bf
I've been using HME Treestand Cable Locks to secure my hunting gear and tree stands every season. Out of the 3 pack of cable locks bundled together, they all have unique keys that match only the corresponding lock, making it convenient for storage. The 6-feet coiled cable is sturdy and self-contained, simplifying the process of securing around any tree. These cable locks are also suitable for securing other outdoor gear like kayaks, patio furniture, and even duck boats.
While these locks provide ample security and ease of use, I did notice some downsides. The keys aren't the same for all locks, which can be a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the cable's durability can be a concern because of potential weather-related rusting. Despite these minor drawbacks, the HME Treestand Cable Locks are a reliable and easy-to-use option for securing your hunting gear.

🔗Outdoor-Ready Tree Stand Security Cable

The pick and hook on the cable make it even more reliable, giving me peace of mind that my camera will remain secure.
The lock housing components are super resistant and designed to last outdoors, and I appreciate the scratch-resistant coating on the rubber-coated steel cable. I must say though, there have been a few times when I struggled a bit to lock the cable, and I wished it came with an easier-to-use lock. However, overall, I'm quite satisfied with the Muddy Defender Security Cable and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable security solution for their treestand.

This reliable piece of equipment provided me with that extra level of safety as I made my way up and down my stand. Overall, the Millennium Safe-Link proved to be a reliable and essential addition to my tree stand hunting gear, and I highly recommend it to all fellow hunters seeking a safer and more enjoyable outdoor adventure.

Buyer's Guide

Climbing tree stand replacement cables are essential components for deer hunting and other activities that require a stable and secure tree stand. These cables replace the ropes and straps used to hoist and secure the tree stand to the tree, providing a safer and more efficient way to climb and set up your tree stand. When selecting climbing tree stand replacement cables, there are several important features to consider.

Material Type

https://preview.redd.it/9a1fu91fgp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f7ab59a52a438b19f4746ed18622de084a2ead5
The material type plays a crucial role in the durability, strength, and resistance to wear and tear of climbing tree stand replacement cables. Common materials used in tree stand cables include nylon, polypropylene, and steel. Nylon and polypropylene are lightweight, flexible, and easy to handle, while steel provides additional strength and durability. Consider your needs, budget, and the expected use of the cables when choosing the material type.

Length

Ensure the replacement cables have the appropriate length to secure your tree stand safely and effectively. The length should be long enough to accommodate different tree diameters and heights, allowing for easy adjustment and ensuring a snug fit. Check the manufacturer's specifications for the recommended length of the cables before making a purchase.

But what exactly does this phase entail and what is the upside for those involved early on?
Well, every natural resource company starts at the exploration phase. During this phase, companies are actively searching for deposits with economic potential. As you can imagine, discovering a project's potential involves a lot of effort and resources. For those that choose to invest in these companies during the exploration phase, there is potential to make a considerable profit, especially if the deposits are in high demand.
Besides the economic upside, resources play a major role. Take nickel for example, it plays a crucial role in our everyday lives, often without us realizing it. From batteries found in EVs and smartphones to household items like kitchen utensils and doorknobs, nickel is everywhere, contributing to our daily routines in numerous ways. This is why supporting companies looking to supply these essential resources is important for our future.
Of course, not all companies and projects are equal in terms of their potential for the future, and there are always risks involved. This goes for every company, whether natural resources or not. When investing, it's important to consider factors like the experienced management, the demand for resources it aims to produce, and the quality of its project and project portfolio.
One junior mining company to look at is Alaska Energy Metals ($AKEMF), who is mainly focused on securing a secure domestic supply of nickel for America’s future. The company is focused on its Nikolai Nickel Project in Alaska.
A big breakthrough for $AKEMF came in February 2024 when it announced it had Indicated Resource of more than 3.9 billion pounds of nickel and an Inferred Resource of more than 4.2 billion pounds of nickel at the Eureka Zone within Nikolai. $AKEMF has been very proactive in exploring Nikolai’s potential this past year, having conducted an initial drill program by effectively leveraging sound and historical drill data.
In 2024, $AKEMF has additional initiatives in the pipeline, including an expanded drill program scheduled for the summer. Led by Greg Beischer, an experienced seasoned explorationist with a solid track record of success, the company's main focus is on identifying higher-grade core zones at Nikolai. The aim is to enhance the quality of the mineral resource estimate.
$AKEMF presents a great opportunity for exposure to nickel exploration and potential development, as well as supporting domestic supply initiatives. With a significant discovery already made and strategic plans for further exploration at Nikolai, the company appears well-positioned to capitalize on the demand for nickel in the future.

2024.05.21 05:49 hungry144 SAT Strategies that took me from a 1540 to 1590!

I made a post about my score improvement and got quite a few PMs so I'd like to make my own post specifically for the strategies that worked for me! At some point above 1500 the SAT becomes less about knowledge and more about strategy, and I know this because I didn't study at all between my test dates; I just changed my strategy.
My first tip: your mentality. You need to be in a good state of mind during your test - this looks like getting a good night's sleep, eating something good in the morning, maybe drinking some caffeine (maybe not; you know yourself better than I do). And I know this is so much easier said than done, but don't stress too much. I already had a 1540 so I went in with the mindset that I would still be fine if I failed, and I think being relaxed helped me a lot. I think if you do your practice tests while simulating a real test this will help - I did my tests while playing "computer lab ambient noises" on YouTube, so you could try that. Do your best to feel your best on test day!
Now, for Reading (I got an 800), your strategy is really important (after you know your fundamental grammar, of course). The optimal solution is going to be different for everyone, but here are some miscellaneous strategies that I used:
  1. Understand the main idea and the idea of each sentence. Often the main idea is stated in the first or last sentence, and to make the text more understandable to me, I used the annotate function to paraphrase each sentence. Once I analyzed the meaning of each individual sentence, I was able to understand the text better and I was able to understand the function of each sentence in relation to the others
  2. Reading and Writing is, as they say, EVIDENCE-BASED. This means that the correct answer will always be supported directly by the text - if an answer is correct, you will be able to highlight a sentence or phrase that basically explicitly says the same thing as the answer key. Don't make inferences or jumps in logic!
  3. PROCESS OF ELIMINATION! The strikethrough tool is a godsend on the DSAT, so make sure you know how to use it. There are sometimes answer choices that are partially true and partially incorrect - if an answer choice has even a single assertion that is not directly supported by the text, cross it out. This way you sometimes don't even have to find the right answer, you just have to know the others are wrong. And if you guess, you have a greater than 25% chance of getting it right
  4. Read the question before the text so you know what to look for. Pretty self-explanatory
  5. For the last 3 or 4 questions where you have to use bullet points to support a claim, you don't need to actually read the bullet points - the correct answer will be obvious from looking at the answer choices. By not reading the bullet points, I basically halved the time I was spending on these questions, allowing me to focus on the trickier questions more.
  6. Speaking of timing, do NOT rush. This is what was my downfall in my 1540. The digital SAT is curved, so if you make a careless mistake on an easy question, you will lose more points than if you mess up on a hard question. You don't need to go through every question twice; just spend some extra time the first time and review the ones you flagged.
  7. And then advice on a few question types that I personally struggled with:
    1. The answer to "main idea" questions will never be in a specific example from the text. I don't really know how to explain this, except that examples will usually support the main idea rather than expressing it.
    2. Transition word questions are easy - they are asking, "how does the function this sentence relate to the priofollowing sentence?". If you do the annotate and summarize thing that I do it's fr a walk in the park.
    3. This is super specific but a name/clause will only be surrounded by commas or em dashes if it is nonessential. For example, between these two sentences: "American author Dan implies..." and "American author, Dan, implies...", the first one would be correct because the identity of the author is important to this question.
For Math (I got a 790), I have fewer tips, because I think Math is really just about knowing the concepts. What helped me was taking math a grade up, doing Kumon, and participating in math olympiads (I really think these are valuable even if you don't place or anything; I'm not really a standout but they helped with my problem solving). However, you should know desmos in and out. Know every piece of its functionality, and know how to apply it to basically every single problem in the math section. Lastly, what I struggled with was getting tired and losing focus. Especially near the end of module 2, I found that I really had to slow down and be methodical with my work so that I was not making careless mistakes.
The only resource I used other than Bluebook was Erica Meltzer, and I definitely recommend her grammar textbook. That's all; props to you if you managed to read all this, and good luck on your SAT!

2024.05.21 05:23 boymom1dr Am I going to damage our relationship?

1st post so bare with me. Stepdaughter is moving up from 8th grade. She lives with my husband and I…and my older son I had before I met them and younger son & daughter I had with her dad.
A few years ago I told SD that if she wanted to invite her mom to something but felt like she had to pick sides, that I’d sit out and celebrate with her separately to take the pressure off so she can enjoy her day. Her mom says thank you to me for taking care of her, but gets in a mood whenever I’m a part of any special event with her. What usually happens (like 80%) is her mom flakes at the last minute and then I come to the event, even if it’s a bday party I planned and set up for SD. I typically plan to attend and have a plan b for my kids if her mom does show up.
My friend since pre-K’s son is graduating high school the same day as the 8th grade moving up ceremony. She had him at 17 and by the time he was 3.5 I had already finished my 1st nursing degree and was working as a RN. He lived with me from that age to almost 5 while my friend got herself together. He’s always spent a lot of time at my house even after that and has always had a room or bed wherever I’ve lived, wakes up with my kids on Christmas, etc. I made him the godfather to my oldest son, which he takes very seriously.
I’m going to his graduation and my older son wants to too. The little kids are going wherever I go because of something SD’s mom did around my daughter and some keep her away from our kids. SD and husband think I should plan to be there for her ceremony since mom probably won’t come & that the kids should be there to celebrate her. There’s a set # of tickets for each graduate, you can’t get them at the door and I would not have time to get all the way across town in case mom does show up to hers, so that’s 4 tickets that he had to find that would go to waste because we have to wait until the day of to make plans?
He keeps saying “what if it was 2 of our kids?” This whole thing would not be as big of an issue then and I’d tell my kid that in this situation, it’s not fair to ask me to miss it to be a plan b.
I know I made myself the 2nd option, but I feel like if I was really wanted there, I’d be 1st & I’m ok that I’m not, I just don’t think it’s fair to miss out on his graduation because her mom may or may not show up to hers AND this is really important to me. I feel like this is the bigger milestone.
