2024.05.21 12:37 DryAd2992 Homelab SFF PC

Hi all, currently looking for a new home lab machine.
Anybody know a pc that is bit larger than mini (i.e. SFF) but still comes with powerefficient Laptop CPUs?
Find the HP EliteDesk SFF 800 G9 quite interesting but probably power consumption to high / 65W TDP.
The HP Elite mini on the other hand comes with 35W CPUs, but the small case does not allow for a proper PCIe slot.
Any ideas are appreciated.

2024.05.21 11:37 Ashurnibibi I'm an unapologetic bot enjoyer who plays diff 9 and rarely dies. Here's my no 1 favourite bot loadout.

Hi all. Every day I see people saying they struggle with bots and how they just aren’t fun. As a certified bot diver, I know how those missions can turn into absolute disasters in a second. However, there is a loadout that I think is the most flexible and efficient in almost all situations that I think will greatly help you and might even change your mind about playing bots. If not, at least I tried. This is what I take with myself when I just want to win.
A summary first, then some explanations.
Armour: heavy fortified (explosion resistance) Primary: Pummeler SMG Secondary: grenade pistol Grenade: stun
Stratagems: ballistic shield, AMR, rest to taste. I like Eagle airstrike and railcannon.
Armour: go heavy. While mobility is everything against the bugs, positioning is everything against bots. Speed isn’t essential, so pick protection. The Fortified perk gives you explosion resistance which is crucial because trust me, there will be times when it feels like the entire world is blowing up around you. There is also the white heavier medium suit whose name I forget, that one works well too if you find yourself too slow.
Primary: the Pummeler. If you don’t have it, the Defender works well too. They both reliably kill everything except the following: hulks, tanks, scout striders, factory striders. The reason we’re taking the Pummeler instead of the higher DPS Defender is the stagger effect it has. Its time to kill isn’t fantastic but you can lock down groups of enemies by alternating between them, kind of like how you used to with the pre-nerf Slugger. The reason for taking an SMG in the first place is the ballistic shield. More on that later.
Secondary: the grenade pistol. Two reasons: fabricators and close scout striders. We’re not bringing other explosives, so the GP is our factory killer besides any Eagles or orbitals you might take. Its real strength, however, is its ability to one-shot scout striders at ranges too close for the AMR. It’s not always consistent and you might have to hit them another time, but that’s not a problem because you’ll be reloading behind your shield, which the striders cannot penetrate. You can also use it against devastators but probably not much, since it does have limited ammo. Although it is fun arcing a grenade over a heavy dev shield and nailing them in the face.
Grenade: stun. We’re taking this for hulk hunting. I don’t know how long exactly the stun is, but it’s really good. Easily long enough to switch to the AMR, line up a shot, fire, line up another, and fire again. No more hulk. It can also shut down groups of smaller enemies but that’s mostly handled by our primary.
Now for the stratagems.
Ballistic shield: this is the centerpiece of the loadout. Underrated, underutilised, unbelievably good. This thing is bulletproof, literally. It will block everything ranged except explosions and fire. Small arms? No problem. Raider or heavy dev machine guns? Ping right off. Scout strider cannons, tank MGs, even the heavy frontal miniguns on factory striders? Not getting through this bad boy. The best thing about it is that it’s directional, meaning that you can choose which side you want to protect. Just carrying it covers your left, aiming covers your front, and pulling out your support weapon covers your back.
Now I did say it doesn’t work against explosives. This is a downside, but that’s why we’re bringing armour with the fortified perk. I suggest against trying to block rockets and cannons since they can break the shield, but this is unlikely to happen if you use it as intended. It’s also useless against flamethrowers, which is why we’re carrying stun grenades for disabling and hopefully eliminating those hulks that carry them.
What’s great about bringing the shield is that it makes you think about your positioning in a way fighting bugs never does. Against bugs you run and kite, never stopping because if you do, you’re dead. Against bots, this will not work. You will be killed, over and over again. You have to be slower, more methodical. Unlike bugs, bots are easy to outrun, but if they catch you out of cover, especially if they get a flank on you, you’re toast. With the shield, however, you can pick the weaker flank, take a deep breath, and attack them instead of them attacking you. What’s neat about this is that this tactic is viable even without the shield but doing it with it first builds up your skill and especially confidence; it’s a bit daunting at first.
I could ramble on and on about the ballistic shield but I think I’ve gone on long enough already. Let’s move on to the last part of the loadout, which is...
The anti-materiel rifle, or AMR: yes, materiEl. In my opinion, the true Swiss army knife of the automaton front. Some might protest and say the autocannon is it. I disagree, because while the AC is a great weapon, it lacks two things the AMR has: a free backpack slot needed for the shield, and good sights. If I’m not bringing the shield, I do take the AC sometimes. Despite its name, the AMR is perfectly good against personnel too. Since we’re bringing an SMG, we’ll be using the AMR for long-range chaff clear too. It’s also usable, if not ideal, for close range, although the massive recoil makes it challenging for that purpose. Still, if you get cornered with it you can forsake accuracy and just mag dump anything in front of you and chances are it’ll work because despite appearances, this thing has an insane fire rate. It’s not ammo efficient, but it’s better than dying. However, we’ll primarily be using the AMR for precise shots at weak points. It kills all devastators with one shot to the head, scout striders with one or two shots to where the legs attach, and hulks with two shots to the optic. It destroys the factory strider’s miniguns with four-ish shots, kills them outright with one and a half mags to the underside. It downs gunships with four to an engine. It’s useless against tanks unless you can get a shot at the backs of their turrets, but we still have two unused stratagem slots for those.
As for those, nothing else is “mandatory" for this build so pick what you like or what suits the mission. I like the basic Eagle strike because of its utility in killing everything. The railcannon is great for those moments when you see a hulk you want to absolutely, positively just delete in an instant. Precision strike works wonders against tanks, as do the 110mm rockets. 120mm is great for groups and factory striders. 380mm levels big bases and stuff like dropship depots and command bunkers. You get the idea.
So there you have it, IMO the most versatile bot loadout you can bring. As I said, this is my win button for when I’m not interested in experimenting and just want to get the job done. It’s effective and it’s fun. If you’re a bugdiver struggling against the socialist menace or just need something different to mix up your Scorcher & AC life, give it a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Any questions, feel free to ask. SES Queen of the Stars, over and out.

2024.05.21 10:12 Hypersky343official Creality Ender 3 V3 Se fix!

You need to update the software. Remember that little micro chip slot in the pannel before assembly? It slides right off upward. Get a micro sd card, put it in your computer and go the internet. Look up the printers name and update. Here's the site.
https://www.creality.com/pages/download-ender-3-v3-se
After that, format your micro is card into fat32. Use this one. Just click the image and it downloads, then use it to format it. http://ridgecrop.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm
After that, drag and drop the TJC_SET folder into the newly formatted Micro sd card. Just this one for right now, then turn off your 3d printer completely. When you enter the micro sd into the control board, turn it back on, and the sd card will automatically update it to the latest update you downloaded.
After that is done, turn off the machine, take mixro sd out. Delete the TJCSET folder, then add the Singular Ender-3 V3 SE(long list of letters and numbers) file in the sd card now. After that, plug the micro sd card into another large sd card, then put it into the slot where it would read your files before printing.
Turn on machine.
You should be greeted with the fully reset screen. Click your language, then let it auto level on it's own. After that, all leveling should he single green numbers. There ya go. That's all.
No extruder sliding off the plate, no more bad leveling. It's done and the z-axis is leveled perfectly. Also use orca slicer...not cura. It's much better. I also still recommend a purple large gluestick in order to insure your print sticks on this printer. Have fun!

2024.05.21 10:04 kimmerdrengen I need some help on how to utilize my current hardware (and some NAS help)

Hello everyone, i'm a long time reader of both homelab and selfhosted. I have been tinkering with a small homelab for some time after i got my hands on a Dell poweredge r720XD. I'm not really a "Hardware"-guy (i can build you a gaming desktop, but servers are something else) so i need some help. I'm still kinda new in the whole homelab/selfhost world so some abbriavations might fly over my head :)
Right now the r720XD is running proxmox, with the following services: LXC's:
VM's
I'm about to setup an *arr-stack and Jellyfin/plex (probably Jellyfin, the commercialisation of plex annoys me), and in the long run i want to run some cameras with Frigate.
I recently got my hands on a Dell elitebook 800 g2 mini - for free. So now i'm wondering how to best utilize these 2 machines. Here are some specs:
Dell poweredge r720XD:
Dell elitebook 800 g2 mini:
In addition to the above mentioned services I would also like to make a robust NAS installation, but am unsure how to best go about this, as i only have 2x8TB , 2x500gb, 1x1.5TB and 1x2TB drives and i want to be able to "easily" expand this in the future. (the NAS would probably be hooked up with something like Nextcloud too)
How would you put these services together, with the mentioned hardware? And what would you recomend regarding a NAS setup?
Any and all help is appreciated!

The Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a handy tool that has simplified my life. The transparent casing allows me to easily view the amount of coins I have stored, preventing me from losing or miscounting them. I appreciate that this organizer can hold over $40 in change, making it a perfect solution for keeping loose change within reach.
One of the most appealing features of this product is its simplicity. The spring loader makes dispensing coins easy and straightforward, while the individual denominations ensure that I always have the right change for any situation. The sturdy construction and smooth operation make this coin organizer a reliable tool to have around.
However, there is one downside: the organizer's size might be a bit too large for some users, especially for those looking for a more compact solution. But overall, the Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a fantastic product that has made organizing my coins a breeze.

🔗Sophisticated Coin Sorter and Wrapper with Counting and Sorting Capabilities

It's a lifesaver when it comes to counting and sorting coins. Imagine sifting through piles of change, separating them by coin value, and wrapping them up so you can keep them organized - this coin sorter does all that and more. It's a business-grade machine that simplifies the process, saving time and energy.
I remember trying it out for the first time with a handful of coins, just to see how it worked. To my surprise, it did the job effortlessly – sorting and counting every single coin, even the smaller ones like pennies and nickels. Its ability to display how much of each coin type is being sorted and counted, along with the total value of the batch, made it even more impressive.
The coin tube attachments also came in handy, making it a cinch to fill pre-formed coin wrappers. And if that wasn't enough, the one-touch batch setting feature with auto-stop function ensured nothing got overfilled accidentally.
Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly device that's perfect for busy individuals or businesses in need of an efficient way to manage their coins.

🔗High-Speed Coin Counter & Sorter with Offsort Function

https://preview.redd.it/qkhvh0124q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d5cd0ba0911289ee0a89710086bb37eb3851d18
I've been using the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter for a while now and I must say, it's a game-changer. The ease of use is remarkable, with the user-friendly control panel allowing for quick settings of coin size. Its electric/electronic operation makes it a dream come true for those in need of high-speed counting and sorting.
The pushbutton control panel is a breeze to operate, providing the functions most often used by the operator. However, the coin sorting feature stands out the most, allowing me to count and optionally bag or package the largest coin while separating the smaller coins into a second bag or tray.
One downside is that it's only available in 110 volt or 220 volt, which could be limiting for some users. Nonetheless, its ability to process coins at ultra-high speeds yet remain quieter than many other coin counters is truly noteworthy.
Overall, the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter has been a reliable and efficient addition to my daily routine, making coin counting and sorting a hassle-free task.

🔗Elegant 5 in 1 Wooden Coin Organizer for Change Storage

I've been using the KAEKAT 5 in 1 Coin Sorter and Counter, and I must say it has made my life so much easier when it comes to managing my loose change. This wooden coin holder is perfect for keeping your spare change organized, and it's pretty easy to use too.
One thing that stands out about this coin organizer is its versatility. Not only did it work great at home, but I also found it to be a lifesaver in the office. Say goodbye to loose change cluttering your desk because this coin holder is designed to keep it all neatly sorted.
But, one area where it could improve is in its capacity. With room for up to 460 coins, it might not be enough for people who save a lot of coins. And while its wooden finish is a classy touch, some might prefer a more straightforward design.
Still, overall, I'm quite happy with this little coin holder. It helps keep my change organized, and as a bonus, it adds a touch of class to any room.

🔗Manual Coin Sorter with 200 Coins Capacity

https://preview.redd.it/wbx4dfu24q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dd8811201ba134e1eec81b85263e51b6e02a895
As someone who had long been on the hunt for an efficient way to sort through a massive collection of coinage, I recently stumbled upon the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter. Its unique design and portability immediately caught my attention, but I had my doubts about its efficiency. After using it for a few days, I can confidently say that my initial reservations were unfounded.
The first thing I noticed about this manual sorter was its impressive speed. Within minutes, I had piles of coins properly sorted into their respective tubes. While I expected the occasional jam or misplacement, I was pleasantly surprised by how minimal those issues were. With consistent and careful handling, I found that I could easily avoid most jams and maintain a steady flow of coins towards my targeted tubes.
One impressive feature that stood out to me from the start was the hopper's capacity to hold up to 200 coins at once. This eliminated the need for constant refilling, allowing me to focus more on sorting and less on tedious tasks. Additionally, the preformed paper wrappers that accompany the coin tubes provide an added level of convenience when it comes to packaging and organizing my coin stash.
While using the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter, I encountered a few challenges. Firstly, I noticed that the plastic coin tubes could benefit from clearer labeling when it comes to coin quantity per wrapper. This, in turn, would have made it easier for me to avoid overfilling certain tubes and ensure the proper weight and balance of each coin roll.
Another minor inconvenience was the occasional difficulty in removing coins that have gotten stuck in the tubes. However, with a bit of patience and the help of a small tool, I was able to resolve the issue and keep the sorter functioning at an optimal level.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this manual coin sorter. Though it requires a bit of trial and error at first, it has proven to be a worthy investment for those looking to streamline the process of sorting and organizing their coin collections. With careful handling and attention to detail, the royal Sovereign QS-1 can successfully handle hundreds of coins with relative ease.

🔗Versatile Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray for Efficient Coin Sorting

https://preview.redd.it/p5unhs834q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e6c9d49e7ce97bee9dd1ffa805edbaec00d7478
Recently, I found myself in need of a coin handling tray to help me with my daily coin counting tasks. Being somewhat particular about how my coins are organized, I was on the lookout for something user-friendly, and that's when I came across the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige.
Once I started using it, I was pleased with how the tray had been designed to fit coins of all shapes and sizes, brand new or worn out after years of use. I appreciated how the tray allowed me to quickly insert and remove coins, helping me to maintain better order and speed up my coin wrapping process. The denominations marked on the tray made it easier for me to keep track of my coin totals, which was a big advantage, especially when dealing with large volumes of change.
However, one aspect of the tray that I felt could be improved was the staggered rows. While it did enable me to count more coins across the rows compared to similar products, I found that it had two separate rows for twenty-five cent coins, when it should have been a single row for fifty cents. As a result, I had to manually count to make sure I wasn't short-changing myself.
Despite this minor flaw, I still found the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige to be a useful addition to my coin handling routine. Its compact size, easy portability thanks to the included cover, and ability to clearly sort and count coins made it worth its place in my daily life.

🔗Rapid Electric Coin Sorter with Anti-Jam Technology

https://preview.redd.it/sd6hhgr34q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=930c8b83f661657b5c52052dca9551ff0a715e95
As someone who recently tried the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000), I can say that it is a fast and convenient way to sort coins. The product's highlight, the 240-coin per minute speed, makes it a reliable and efficient option for anyone looking to manage their coins quickly.
What stood out to me the most was the coin hopper's capacity to hold up to 300 coins, allowing me to sort a large amount of coins at once without needing to replenish the hopper frequently. This feature made the process more manageable and time-saving for my needs.
However, there were some drawbacks to using this coin sorter. For starters, I experienced a coin jamming issue, which caused me to take the sorter apart and repair it. While the anti-jam technology claimed to prevent this, it seems that the issue was not entirely resolved, at least in my experience.
Additionally, I found it frustrating that the coins did not always fall into the designated coin tubes. Some foreign or oversized coins occasionally got stuck on the way to the wrappers, requiring manual intervention to clear them.
Despite these issues, I still believe that the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000) is a useful product, especially for its price. If these drawbacks can be addressed, it could become a go-to option for those seeking an easy, automatic way to manage their coin collections.

🔗Royal Sovereign CO-1000N High-Speed Coin Sorter

https://preview.redd.it/u75cqw144q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=916154b152158c506e0bd17b323e44fb6f1fdc0e
As a reviewer, I've had the pleasure of using the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter in my daily life. This nifty device has proven to be a game-changer when it comes to sorting my coins. With a capacity to hold up to 300 coins and sort them at a rate of 240 coins per minute, it's a real workhorse in my wallet.
One feature that truly stands out is its patented anti-jam technology, which ensures precise internal sorting so I don't have to worry about any mishaps during the coin-sorting process. I can easily pull out coin-filled wrappers and roll them up, thanks to the removable plastic coin tubes.
However, I did notice that it can be a bit loud sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for its functionality. Overall, the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter is a convenient and efficient choice for anyone looking to sort their coins in a hurry.

🔗High-Speed Coin Sorter and Counter with LCD Display

https://preview.redd.it/19lxe2f44q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=60b8e87ee376a79b66064eb029c8196eedd1c984
As a busy business owner, I've found it challenging to count and sort all my coins efficiently, but this electronic USD Coin Sorter and Counter has been a game-changer. The machine is effortless to use: simply pour your coins into the hopper and press start to watch it work its magic.
It sorts and counts the coins swiftly, with the option to either use the included tubes for coin wrappers or bins, depending on my preference for that day. What makes it even more impressive is its ability to sort 270 coins per minute, eliminating any concern of getting behind on my daily cash transactions.
With the backlit LCD screen, not only do I have a clear count of all the denominations, but it also displays a total count, making it easy to keep track of my earnings. However, there is one downside: the instructions could be clearer on utilizing the coin wrapper holder, as it took me some trial and error to get it right.
Despite this minor issue, the overall convenience and efficiency of this Coin Sorter make it a valuable investment for any business in need of sorting and counting their US coins.

🔗Easy-to-Use Coin Sorter with Color-Coded Tubes

https://preview.redd.it/ygo51rx44q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d22325f734b1e2e3d0cbb4916447d0b9da4d4aab
Recently, I tried out the Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle of 4 Color-Coded Coin Tubes and 100 Assorted Coin Wrappers. It's a nifty little gadget that I couldn't resist trying out, especially since I always have a lot of coins lying around the house. The tubes are color-coded, making it super easy to differentiate between pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
One of the things I really liked about this product was how easy it was to use. All I needed to do was insert the coin rolls into the tubes, drop the coins in, invert the tube, and voila - the coins were counted, and I could seal them up. It was a quick and painless process, and I enjoyed using it.
However, there was one downside to this product that I did notice. While the tubes worked well for pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, I found that the penny tube required a few extra pennies to reach the level required. This might not be a deal-breaker for some, but it was something I noticed during my testing.
Overall, I'd say that this Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle is a pretty handy little gadget. If you're someone who always has a bunch of coins lying around the house and wants an easy way to sort and count them, this product is definitely worth considering. Just be aware of the small issue with the penny tube.

When I first tried the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter, I was genuinely excited. I had a jar full of loose change that I wanted to get rid of and this seemed like the perfect solution. The first thing I noticed was how fast it could sort out coins, up to 312 per minute. That's impressive! The large hopper capacity also allowed me to dump in a significant number of coins at once, without having to constantly refill it - a feature I truly appreciated.
The product came with a couple of pre-formed coin wrappers, which I thought was a neat touch. It made the transition from sorting to wrapping seamless. However, I also noticed that the coin counter comes with some noise when operating, which might be an issue for those who prefer a quieter environment.
The anti-jam feature was a standout for me. I had never used a coin sorter before, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. But this feature ensured that the coins kept moving smoothly through the machine, without any unexpected jams.
But, as with any product, there were a couple of cons. The first was the coin counter's size - it's quite large and might not fit on a smaller countertop. Secondly, while the product worked well most of the time, there were a few instances where the coin counter got a bit confused - it would sometimes sort coins into the wrong slot.
Overall, while the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter has its quirks, I found it to be a useful tool for sorting and organizing loose change. It saved me a lot of time and made the process enjoyable.

🔗Portable Coin Sorting Organizer with Detachable Cover

When I first used the PEN+GEAR Coin Manager Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by its slim and sleek design. It fits perfectly in my pocket or on my keychain, making it a convenient addition to my daily essentials. One of the standout features is its clear slots that allow you to easily see when you need to add more coins, which is a lifesaver when I'm juggling multiple tasks at once.
I did notice, however, that the measurements for some coins, particularly pennies, seem slightly off. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the hang of it, but once I figured it out, it became a breeze. I like how the tray comes with coin wrappers, making it easier to organize my coins and create sets for collecting or spending.
Overall, the Coin Manager Pro is a handy tool for anyone who wants to keep their loose change organized and accessible. While it has a minor flaw with the coin measurements, it doesn't significantly impact its usability, and the benefits outweigh its limitations.

🔗Modern Coin Sorter with Digital Display and Removable Tubes

https://preview.redd.it/uf84ggl64q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61807183e99e0c75400e162b2ee8f01f53c13dd5
The Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter, as the name suggests, is a lifesaver for both children and adults alike. Whether you save pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters, this sorter makes organization a breeze. The digital LCD display keeps track of your savings, while the four separate tubes ensure that each coin type is tucked away perfectly.
One of the most notable features is how easy it is to use. Insert the coin into the sorter and watch as it automatically sorts it into the correct tube. The process is quite engaging, and it even helps children learn the value of money and basic math principles.
Yet, this device isn't without its quirks. Sometimes, a coin might end up in the tube sideways or not exactly where it's supposed to be. All you need to do is give it a little shake, and everything will fall into place.
The product itself is quite sturdy, with the ABS plastic construction making it a safer and more durable option compared to glass or ceramic piggy banks. And yes, it's perfect for all ages, making it a great addition to your home's financial organization system.
Despite these minor issues, the Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter exceeds our expectations. It's a practical tool that educates, organizes, and encourages good financial habits.

🔗Effortless Black Coin Sorter for Sorting and Counting Coins

https://preview.redd.it/oemo82374q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55d91169f3f049639e0e890ec85f537e35c6aa4e
I recently got my hands on the Royal CS120 Black Coin Sorter, and let me tell you, it's been quite the experience. At first, I was excited to sort my loose change into quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies using these neat little tubes with fill lines. But boy, was it challenging!
Firstly, the tubes were pretty big, which made it hard to fit in the smaller coins like pennies and dimes. I had to constantly open the lid and adjust the tubes, ensuring the white line was correctly aligned to prevent any mix-ups. But honestly, it wasn't all that bad. I thought it'd be tedious, but it actually became quite fun.
The digital readout that counts the total money in the sorter? Well, that was another story altogether. It didn't always give an accurate count, but I didn't mind much because I bought the sorter mainly for sorting, not counting.
But hey, let's not overlook the issue with the rolls. When you empty a tube, you have to put the money wrapper in before manually dropping in the coins. I got myself some extra rolls, which made the process much easier, especially when dealing with a piggy bank of coins.
My main gripe though is the quality of the sorter. It felt kind of cheap, and I had some worries about how long it would last, especially if my kids started using it. But for the price, I thought it was worth the risk.
So, while it might not be perfect, I've found the Royal CS120 to be a fun and efficient way to sort my loose change. And hey, it's even been a great learning experience for my kids!

🔗Heavy-Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter for US, Canadian, Mexican and More

Cassida's C-C850 Heavy Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter has proven to be a reliable workhorse in my daily processing of mixed coins and tokens. As a busy retailer, the 2-speed motorized hopper has been a lifesaver, quickly sorting my coin collection without any jams. The high-capacity hopper, capable of holding up to 6,500 coins, has been perfect for my needs.
However, the one downside I've experienced is that this particular unit is slower and prone to jamming compared to my other Cassida counter at a different location. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the ease of use and durability that Cassida's C-C850 offers in my daily business.

Buyer's Guide

Coin sorters make organizing your coins quick and efficient. With the variety of options available, it's essential to consider the features and design that best fit your needs. This guide will walk you through the important aspects of coin sorters to help you make an informed purchase.

Coin Types Compatibility

https://preview.redd.it/q7w1bp594q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=106e8de1f01f20cfde47996c89aeaedfac6c91cf
Check the compatibility of the coin sorter with the different types of coins you have in circulation. Most sorters can handle a mix of coins, including pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. However, some sorters may have restrictions on coin types or sizes.

Ease of Use

Consider a coin sorter that is easy to use, with a simple mechanism for sorting coins. Look for sorters with a clear and intuitive display, and one that doesn't take much effort to operate.

Capacity

Think about the amount of coins you want to sort at once. A coin sorter's capacity may vary, so choose one that can accommodate your desired volume. Consider the space where the coin sorter will reside in your home and the need for compactness.

https://preview.redd.it/eerao4i94q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c76eb15a003e27c257fda8f42b27d647d3cc2fa

Durability and Build Quality

A good coin sorter should be durable and built to last. Check the materials used, and look for units with a sturdy construction that can withstand frequent use. A coin sorter with an easily replaceable or removable coin tray can also simplify maintenance.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Ensure that the coin sorter you choose is easy to clean and maintain. Look for models with removable or dishwasher-safe parts, which can make cleaning up a snap. Consider how easily you can access the coin tray for cleaning purposes.

Portability

https://preview.redd.it/w4ae5y1a4q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca7745b0cd1a762889aed27fa3fd3998d326ab79
If you need a coin sorter that can be easily moved around or stored when not in use, look for one with a lightweight and compact design. Some coin sorters may come with a carry handle or a detachable tray that makes them more convenient for transportation.

Additional Features

Consider additional features that can improve your coin sorting experience. For example, some coin sorters have a built-in coin counter or cash register function. Others may include a storage compartment for extra coins or accessories.
Following these tips when shopping for a coin sorter should help you find a product that fits your specific needs and preferences. Remember to evaluate the features and considerations unique to your situation when making your purchase.

What is a Coin Sorter?

A coin sorter is a device that helps you sort and store your coins, usually in separate compartments for each denomination. It typically has a slot for inserting coins and a system for separating them into their respective compartments based on size and weight.

Why should I use a Coin Sorter?

  • Organizes your coins:
Coin sorting devices help you sort your coins by denomination, making it easier to manage your change and keep everything organized.
  • Saves time:
Instead of manually sorting your coins, a coin sorter automates the process for you, saving you time and effort.
  • Prevents coin damage:
Sorting your coins in a device designed to handle them gently will prevent scratches and bending, keeping them in better condition.
  • Space-saving:
Coin sorters usually come in compact designs, making them ideal for storage in small homes or offices.

How does a Coin Sorter work?

Coin sorters work by using a combination of size and weight sensors to detect the type of coin being inserted. When you insert a coin into the slot, the device reads the size and weight of the coin, allowing it to fall into the appropriate compartment. Some advanced models even use magnets or electronic sensors for a more precise sorting process.

What types of coins can a Coin Sorter handle?

Most coin sorters are designed to handle standard-sized coins such as pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. They may also have separate compartments for larger coins like half-dollars and foreign coins.

Where can I purchase a Coin Sorter?

Coin sorters can be found in various online stores, specialty shops, and retail outlets like drugstores and supermarkets. It's best to research and compare different models and prices before making a purchase to ensure you find the right coin sorter for your needs.

Can I turn a Coin Sorter into a piggy bank?

Yes, you can adapt a coin sorter into a piggy bank by keeping the coins in the devices' compartments and labeling them as separate savings accounts or piggy banks for each denomination. This way, you can still sort your coins and keep track of your savings progress.

How do I clean and maintain my Coin Sorter?

  • Empty the compartments:
Regularly empty the coin sorter to prevent the buildup of dirt, dust, and bacteria.
  • Wipe down the exterior:
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the coin sorter, removing any dirt or fingerprints.
  • Inspect the sorting mechanism:
Periodically inspect the coin sorter's sorting mechanism to ensure it's functioning correctly and free of debris or obstructions.

Best Online Casino Bonuses

There are dozens of real money online casinos in the US, and that means that competition for customers can be fierce. But that’s very good news for you as operators will offer a wide range of casino bonuses and promotions.
We’ve gone ahead and listed the most common of these bonuses offered by the best online real money casinos.

Welcome Bonuses

The vast majority of real money online casinos will offer a welcome bonus to all new users. This will see you earn bonus credit or bonus funds for simply signing up and making a deposit. You can then use the bonus credit to play real money casino games. Just bear in mind that you may need to make a minimum deposit before you can grab the bonus.

Deposit Bonuses

A deposit bonus is when real money casinos will match a deposit by a certain percentage. For example, if you get a 100% deposit match bonus on a $100 deposit, you will receive an additional $100 in bonus credit. This can then be used to play real money casino games, but you will have to meet some wagering requirements before you can cash out your bonus funds.

No Deposit Bonuses

No deposit bonuses are available at some real money online casinos but not all. These promotions are the best value as they don’t require you to make any deposit using your own cash. This gives you the chance to test drive an online casino to see if it’s what you’re looking for. These bonuses also have wagering requirements you will have to meet before you can withdraw your winnings.

Free Spins

Free spin bonuses are exactly what they sound like. They offer you free spins on specific slots titles. The idea here is to promote games from a certain provider or introduce new slots. Like the no deposit bonus, this is a great way to try out a game before using your own cash.

Reload Bonuses

A reload bonus is very similar to a deposit match bonus and quite common at real money online casinos. You make a deposit and the casino will match it by a certain percentage. These promotions are run on a regular basis with some of the best online casinos for real money offering them every week.

Bonus Terms and Conditions

Bonuses and promotions at real money online casinos in the USA have terms and conditions that can have an impact on the value of the bonus. That’s why you should read those Ts and Cs carefully and know exactly what they mean. Here are a few terms you’ll come across.
Wagering Requirements
Wagering requirements at real money online casinos can also be referred to as ‘playthrough’ or ‘rollover’. This is listed as a multiple and simply tells you the number of times you need to wager the bonus amount before you can withdraw it as cash.
So say you have a bonus wagering requirement of 25x on a bonus amount of $100. This means that you will need to place wagers totaling $2,500 (25 x $10) before you can withdraw the bonus as cash. This is possibly the most important thing to look out for on a promotion because a high wagering requirement on a high-value bonus might be hard to hit.
Time Limits / Expiry
There are two types of time limits – the time you have to take up the offer and the time you have to use your bonus funds and hit those wagering requirements. The first one is simple enough. Once you sign up at a real money casino, you’ll have anything from a few days up to a month to take up your welcome bonus offer.
The second one can be a bit trickier. US online casinos will set a time limit on your offer and you have to use your bonus and hit the wagering requirement before that time is up. If you don’t make it , you could lose any unused bonus credit.
Minimum Deposits
This is a very basic condition of any real money online casino promo when there is a deposit involved. The minimum deposit, as you may have guessed already, is the least amount of money you can deposit to activate the bonus.
Now here’s the thing – a minimum deposit for a promotion may be higher than the regular minimum at a casino. And in some cases, the minimum deposit amount may change if it’s a bonus made up of several smaller bonuses. For example, a deposit match and free spins bonus over two deposits might require a minimum of $20 for the first deposit and $50 for the second deposit to unlock the free spins.
Winning Limits
Real money online casinos will pretty much give you free money just to get you playing their games. But there’s only so much free money they can hand out. So understandably, they put a limit on how much you can win using your bonus cash.
It’s not a condition that you need to worry about too much though. After all, a bonus is free money, right? But just remember that you won’t win any massive progressive jackpots with that bonus cash.
Game Eligibility
Remember what we said about wagering requirements? Well, not all games contribute towards those requirements. Promotions tend to exclude some games like roulette so check the Ts and Cs.
Games that are eligible will contribute towards your requirement at different rates. For example, slots may have a rate of 100% while the rate for table games could be 50%. This means that if you play $100 on the slots then $100 is taken off your wagering requirement. If you play $100 on a table game, then only $50 counts towards the requirement.
Restrictions
This is a little different to games eligibility because it has nothing to do with your wagering requirement. To put it simply, these are games that you cannot use your bonus funds on.
Even the best online casinos may restrict bonus use for games like live dealer games or any games that have large prizes such as progressive jackpots. You may also be restricted from entering contests using your bonus.

Best Online Casino Games

One of the benefits of playing at a top real money online casino in the US is that you get access to hundreds of games as soon as you sign up. With instant play online casinos, you don’t have to download any additional software to start playing. Simply go to the site and you’re all set. And the best online casinos might even offer many of these games in demo mode for you to try out.

Slots

Slots are one of the most popular real money online casino games. You can spin the reels to hit winning combinations called paylines, unlock bonus features and win real money. But it’s not just about matching a few symbols, there are often multiple ways to win. Slots with the Megaways mechanic can have thousands of paylines.
Real money slots also come in a massive range of themes and styles covering everything from safari themes to ancient Egypt and even rock bands. And don’t be surprised if there are hundreds or even thousands to choose from at the best online casinos.

Progressive Jackpots

A progressive jackpot is a type of prize that you’ll find in some slot titles. These jackpots grow with each and every wager that is placed on the game. The most popular jackpot slots pool wagers from players all over the world and not just the casino itself.
The biggest progressive jackpots at online casinos for real money can sometimes reach millions of dollars. In fact , the largest progressive jackpot win of all time was $23.6 million won by a player in Belgium in 2021. The jackpot was won on the Absolutely Mad variant of Mega Moolah.

Roulette

Online roulette brings this ever-popular table game into the world of online casinos. Pick a number or color and place your bet. Then wait to see if the ball lands on your pick. It’s one of the simplest games to pick up but there are actually a few variants that you can choose from.
The best online casinos will have American, European, and French roulette variants. Some real money online casinos will even offer multi-wheel roulette where you can bet on two or three wheels at a time. Unsurprisingly, roulette is also hugely popular in live casinos.

Blackjack

Blackjack is a classic casino card game where you try to beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 as possible. While the game is simple enough with a straight bet on your hand, there are plenty of side bets to bring a little more action to the table. For example, you can bet on the Lucky Ladies – betting that your first two cards total 20.
You can play virtual blackjack at your own pace at all of the best online casinos. But if you prefer a more traditional style of play, then you can also try your hand at live dealer blackjack.

Video Poker

Most video poker casinos will offer a range of poker variants that combine skill of poker with the excitement of slot machines. It’s based on five card draw and you need to match one of several winning hands by changing or keeping the cards you are dealt. Bets are placed at the start of the game.
Each variant comes with its own set of rules and payout structures that can vary quite a bit. As you can imagine, you’ll need to have some basic poker skills to master this game. It’s also not a bad idea to follow some video poker strategies to improve your odds of winning.

Baccarat

Baccarat is a hugely popular game in land-based casinos, but not quite so popular at online casinos for real money. The goal of the game is to have a hand value closest to nine. You have a few baccarat strategies to choose from such as betting on your own hand, the banker’s hand, or a tie.
The game is available at most of the best real money casinos online in a virtual format. But it’s the live casinos where you’ll find the real action. Live tables are

Live Dealer Games

You can feel like you’re stepping onto the casino floor when you play at live dealer casinos. These casinos offer live streams of table games with professional dealers. All the games have the exact same rules as those you’d find at land-based casinos and you can even communicate with the dealer via chat.
Table games like blackjack, baccarat, and roulette are the most popular games. But in recent times, the gameshow has risen to the top with innovative games like Deal or No Deal and, believe it or not, Monopoly.

Best US Online Casino Payment Methods

Any online casino with real money games should have a solid set of payment options to choose from. Below, we’ve listed the most common.

Credit Cards

Credit cards are widely accepted at the best USA online casinos. They provide a safe, secure, and fast method for deposits, and as most people already have one, they’re super convenient. Withdrawals are a different matter though as very few casinos will payout to a credit card.
It’s also worth noting that some banks may decline transactions to real money online casinos for legal reasons. For example, if gambling is restricted in your state, the bank may decline your request. There may also be fees charged when funding your online casino account.

Debit Cards

As you may know already, debit cards offer exactly the same convenience, speed, and security as credit cards. They’re also accepted by practically all real money US online casinos. And much like credit cards, many casinos don’t offer debit card withdrawals.
One big benefit of debit cards over credit cards is that there are no legal restrictions on the use of debit cards to fund gambling accounts.

eWallets

A hugely popular payment method for real money online casinos in the US, eWallets offer fast transactions with great security features. They also provide an additional layer of privacy, as your bank or credit card information isn’t shared with the online casino. However, there may be fees associated with eWallet transactions, and some online casinos may not accept certain eWallets.
Popular eWallets include PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Interestingly, the online casino industry is slowly starting to move away from older eWallets like PayPal. Even so, there are still some great casinos that accept PayPal.

Cryptocurrencies

Many of the top real money online casinos in the US now accept major cryptocurrencies for both deposits and withdrawals. These digital currencies offer some of the best security features of any payment method, and yes, that includes credit cards.
Cryptocurrency casinos let you deposit and withdraw funds with very low fees and in some cases, no fees at all. Transactions are highly secure as you don’t need to share your banking details and extremely fast. Some crypto withdrawals can be processed in hours or even minutes.
The best online casinos will accept offer a variety of crypto options including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and more. If you don’t have any crypto, casinos like TG.Casino offer you the chance to buy some using your traditional methods like debit or credit card.

Checks

The best online casinos for real money offer the complete range of payment options and, believe it or not, that includes old-school paper checks. Just pick ‘cash by check’ and the casino will send your winnings by mail.
The only drawback here is that it’s quite slow. In fact, withdrawals can take several days or even weeks. It’s all down to how fast your mail provider is and how quickly your bank can clear the check. Still a good option to have though just in case.

Wire transfers

Wire transfers are another tried and trusted method for secure and reliable deposits and withdrawals at US online casinos for real money. This is a simple transfer made directly from your bank account to the casino’s account and vice versa.
This type of transfer is very secure as your bank handles the entire process, but it takes time and can be a little on the expensive side. There may also be limits on how much you can transfer to and from your account so check with your bank first.

Tips for Real Money Online Casino Gambling

With everything you’ve read so far, picking the best online casino for real money should be pretty straightforward. But if you’re new to the online casino industry, then you might want to learn a few things about how to gamble online before you place those first wagers. Below, we’ve listed just a few of our favorite tips to get you started.

Pick a Trusted Online Casino

And by trusted we mean one that has a rock solid reputation for customer support and satisfaction. You can do this by reading reviews by people who have taken the time to actually play at casinos online for real money. That’s exactly what we do here, so picking from our recommendations is a no-brainer.

Use those Online Casino Bonus Offers

There’s great value to be found through online casino promotions whether it’s a no deposit promotion or a deposit match. Whatever is on offer, take advantage of it to give your bankroll a nice bump before you play any real money casino games.

Sign-up with More than One Online Casino

Yep, there’s absolutely nothing stopping you from signing up with five or six real money casinos. This means that you can take advantage of all those welcome bonuses and promotions. You also have a better chance of finding the best real money casino games as you have thousands of games to choose from.

Look for Mobile Online Casinos

Common sense when you think about it because we spend more time on our mobile devices each day. The best online casinos will have either a mobile app or they will be fully optimized for mobile devices. Either way, this is an absolute must.

Manage Your Bankroll

This is perhaps the most important tip of all as gambling responsibly is how you can continue to have fun day in day out. Managing your bankroll is about setting a budget and sticking to it. It’s also about finding and taking advantage of any promotions that save you spending too much of your own cash.

Responsible Gaming at Online Casinos

The best online casinos take responsible gaming very seriously and will offer help and resources if you need them. This includes things like the ability to set limits on your deposits or gaming. Many will also provide tips and guidance on spotting the early signs of problem gambling.
Online casinos try their best to help, but the best advice for anyone who needs support can be found at organizations like:

Are Online Casinos Legal in the US?

2024.05.21 07:33 vasilenko93 Discussion - Will there eventually be dedicated NPUs?

Microsoft Copilot+ PC event was today and they announced Surface Laptops with a Neural Processing Unit ( NPU ), a new class of chip, no longer is it just CPU plus GPU, now it is CPU + GPU + NPU. The NPU is used to speed on local neural networks.
What I thought of is can desktops eventually have them? The Microsoft Surface NPU is a System on a Chip, combining all three CPU, GPU, and NPU, but for custom built desktops the CPU and GPU are dedicated and upgradable. Will we reach a point where motherboards come with an extra slot to insert a NPU, so you can upgrade the hardware of the AI models running on your machine?
Food for thought.

As a reviewer, I've been using the Red-Dot CCB 1-Gang RT Blank Cover in my daily life for a few weeks now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me. One of the features that stood out for me is the die-cast construction and industrial design, which offers a rugged, protective enclosure for my devices.
The clean cover edges provide excellent gasket sealing, keeping my wiring devices and electronic components safe from dust, moisture, and other potential hazards. I also appreciate the precision cast and machined surfaces that allow me to safely pull wires without damaging any components.
However, there's one downside I've noticed - it can be a bit tricky to mount the cover using the convenient mounting lugs, especially if I'm working in tight spaces. Despite this minor inconvenience, the Red-Dot CCB 1-Gang RT Blank Cover has been a reliable and effective solution to keep my wiring devices and electronics protected in a variety of situations.

As a sneaker enthusiast, I recently tried the Nike KD 13 'University Red' in men's size 10. The moment I slipped my foot into the shoe, I felt the comfort of the synthetic upper material. The rubber sole with a flat heel was perfect for my outdoor workouts. The round toe and full-length Zoom Air unit provided an excellent fit and responsiveness.
The shoe's standout feature was the all-over graphic print inspired by hip-hop culture. The metallic gold Swoosh branding added an opulent touch. However, I found that the design made the shoes a bit flashy for my everyday casual wear.
Overall, the Nike KD 13 'University Red' is a durable, stylish, and comfortable sneaker. While the graphic print might not be for everyone, the shoe's performance and comfortable fit make it a solid choice for those who appreciate eye-catching design.

I've been using the Kidde Code One hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector in my home for a few months now. It's a reliable safety device that's been working smoothly. The photoelectric sensor detects visible fire particles, perfect for detecting slow smoldering fires. I also appreciate the electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor that uses an 85-decibel alarm when it senses a hazard. The unit is interconnected, which means all the installed detectors will sound their alarms if one detects a threat.
However, I do wish the unit would be a little more user-friendly in terms of the hush feature, as it seems a bit too sensitive. It can be quite tricky to get it to work without accidental activation. Another improvement needed is the battery backup, which, although convenient, can be less reliable over time.
Overall, the Kidde Code One hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector is a decent safety device for home use. It might require a bit of patience while installing and dealing with the hush feature. But once you get it working, it's a great device to have in your home to protect you from potential fire and carbon monoxide hazards.

I had high hopes for this Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector when I installed it in my home. The voice warning system was a nice touch, and I appreciated that it had a 10-year battery life. But, it wasn't long before I started experiencing some disappointing issues.
Firstly, the device seemed over-sensitive. It would randomly go off in the middle of the night, causing disruptions to our sleep. Even when cooking with the stove or using the fireplace, the alarm would sound without any apparent reason. This unnecessary alarming made me question the product's reliability.
On top of that, the battery life didn't seem to last as long as advertised. After a year, I had to replace the batteries, which was quite inconvenient considering the product's claim that the batteries would last 10 years.
Despite these drawbacks, the Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector's biggest plus was its simplicity. There were no complex settings to navigate, making it easy to use, especially for people who might not be tech-savvy.
In conclusion, while the Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector had its unique advantages, it was let down by its inconsistent performance and battery life. I would recommend looking into other brands that promise better reliability and safety.

🔗Red Dot Vertical Weatherproof Cover for Co Witness

The Red Dot CKMUV is a versatile, weatherproof cover that's been a lifesaver in my outdoor projects. I've used it to protect receptacles, switches, and plugs in both dry and wet locations, ensuring their safety and longevity.
One feature I love about this cover is its deep design that keeps the elements out, even for large extension cords. The installation process was a breeze, and once it's in place, it's secure and stays put. While the cover is a bit taller than other options, it's a small price to pay for the additional protection it offers.
However, the one drawback I've noticed is that it seems to be attracting some corrosion over time, which may impact its performance in the long run. But overall, the Red Dot CKMUV has been a reliable and effective solution for my outdoor electrical needs.

🔗Red Dot VXG-11 Co Witness Sight Ceiling Light

Recently, I tried out the Red Dot VXG-11-C ceiling cross feed vapor tight outdoor light fixture, and let me tell you, it was a breeze to install. The outlet box cap and globe make the whole process quite safe and easy. I particularly liked the copper-free aluminum and stainless steel screws, which really upped the corrosion resistance of the product. That's something we can all appreciate, right?
One thing I noticed was the high quality replaceable porcelain socket with high temperature leads - it's clear that they've put a lot of thought into durability. It's always a relief when you don't have to worry about replacing parts for a while. However, I did notice a limitation with the globe: it was only suitable for 200-Watt incandescent bulbs and certain compact fluorescent ones. This could potentially limit the flexibility of the fixture.
I appreciated the fact that the globe was made of lime crystal glass which is shatterproof. The fixture was UL listed, which added more peace of mind. So, all in all, it was a pleasant experience using this product, but there's always room for improvements. It's all about striking the right balance, isn't it?

🔗Smart Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector with Lithium Battery Backup

https://preview.redd.it/jfoe4vxstp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bda157a1d57d3d383a80a24ed5e5dc63309215b6
I recently encountered the Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector, Hardwired with Lithium Battery Backup, and gave it a try in my home. The first thing that stood out was its reliability. Being hardwired, it's not dependent on batteries that need regular replacement, which is a great feature if you forget to change them. Additionally, the lithium battery backup provides an extra layer of protection during power failures, allowing you to rely on it during emergencies.
One of the most impressive functions is the interconnect capability, allowing you to link up to 24 of these alarms together. This creates an extensive network of protection throughout your home, ensuring every room stays safe.
However, there were a few downsides I noticed. The first was the sensitivity of the alarm, which could be a bit too reactive for my liking. It went off a few times unexpectedly, causing a bit of anxiety when there was no actual danger. Another issue was the difficulty I experienced with the disable feature. Although it's designed to be user-friendly, I found it a bit confusing and difficult to use.
Overall, the Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector is a reliable and robust device that provides peace of mind with its dual-sensor technology and lithium backup. The only downside is that it seems a bit more sensitive than necessary, which could lead to false alarms.

🔗Easy-to-Use Rust-Resistant Home Fire Extinguisher

https://preview.redd.it/4oqu3kfttp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46618a8a1e54b07c90c30bc640bfd69747a1778f
I recently added a Kidde Full Home Fire Extinguisher to my household, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. First of all, it's easy to use - even if you've never had to operate a fire extinguisher before. The clear instruction label with graphics is a lifesaver, and the easy-to-read gauge ensures you always know if your fire extinguisher is charged and ready to go.
Speaking of the safety pin, it's designed to be easy-to-pull in an emergency, which is exactly what you want when time is of the essence. The rust- and impact-resistant nylon handle is a nice touch too, as it ensures the extinguisher stays in good condition for years to come.
The highlight of my experience, though, is the peace of mind I've gained knowing that I have a reliable fire extinguisher on hand. It's always in the back of my mind when I'm cooking or working in the garage, and that sense of security is priceless. All in all, I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their home and family.

🔗Stylish Red Polka Dot Leather Wallet from Comme des Garçons

https://preview.redd.it/4wpe3oqttp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b95acc9d26c7189fd9e71ca357c2d21ef92fc9a1
I recently gave the Comme des Garçons Red Polka Dot calf-leather wallet a whirl in my daily life, and let me tell you; it's a stylish and functional accessory that adds a touch of flair to my outfits. Made with high-quality calf leather, this wallet has a classic look that's perfect for any occasion. The polka dot print adds a playful edge, making it stand out amongst my other wallets.
One highlight of this wallet is its all-around zip fastening, which ensures that my essential cards and cash are safely secured without the need for any fuss. The main compartment and card slots are easy to access and use, making it a cinch to organize my belongings.
Though I love the design and functionality of this wallet, there's one aspect that could use improvement: the wallet's size. While it's compact enough for everyday use, it might not be the best choice for travelers who need to carry more than just the basics.
Overall, I'd recommend this Comme des Garçons wallet to anyone looking for a stylish and functional accessory to add to their outfit. Just be mindful of its size when planning to use it on the go.

🔗10-Year Worry-Free Sealed Battery Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector with Voice Alarm (2-Pack)

https://preview.redd.it/vu0l5f5utp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fcb62ae75f00cb16be048bc07ac1ae7b93153588
I recently had the opportunity to test out the Kidde 10 Year Worry-Free Sealed Battery Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector, and let me tell you, it's quite the experience. While some of the reviews I came across had high praise for the product, I personally didn't have the best luck with it.
The first thing that stood out to me was the ease of installation. It's a simple process, and the instructions are clear. But once I had it up and running, I noticed something concerning: it would occasionally false alarm. Now, I'm not talking about a few random beeps here and there. This thing would go off like a fire alarm during a zombie apocalypse.
The voice alarm feature was supposed to be a perk, but honestly, it just made it worse. Instead of a calm, clear voice letting me know there was an issue, it sounded like someone hitting a red siren button. It was absolutely terrifying, and not conducive to a good night's sleep.
On the positive side, the sealed-in lithium battery did last for the full 10 years as advertised. And the end-of-life warning was a nice touch, letting me know when it was time to replace the unit.
However, the cons definitely outweighed the pros here. The false alarms were a huge issue, and the voice alarm feature was more of a hindrance than a help. After experiencing these issues, I had to permanently disable the alarm, which kind of defeats the purpose of having one in the first place.
Overall, the Kidde 10 Year Worry-Free Sealed Battery Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector didn't live up to my expectations. While it's a handy product to have around the house, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience. There are other brands out there that might provide a more reliable and less terrifying solution.

🔗Comme des Garçons Polka Dot Print Zip-Around Wallet in Red

https://preview.redd.it/pin1exlutp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f562c6c92ab556d91e3a39d5fbeb668207994bd
As a fan of unique and functional wallets, I was excited to try out this red polka dot-print zip-around wallet from COMME DES GARÇONS. Walking around town with this wallet drew a lot of attention from fashion enthusiasts, and I could immediately tell it's made from high-quality red and white leather.
One of the features that stood out to me was the partitioned compartment. It made organizing my bills and cards a breeze, eliminating the mess that usually comes with carrying around a wallet filled with miscellaneous items. The coin pocket was also a great addition, ensuring I didn't lose track of my loose change.
However, the zip-around closure did require a bit more effort to open and close, which wasn't the smoothest experience. Additionally, the debossed internal logo could have been a bit more subtle. Nonetheless, these minor shortcomings didn't detract from the overall style and functionality of this wallet.
In conclusion, this COMME DES GARÇONS wallet is a standout choice for anyone looking for a unique, high-quality accessory that carries both style and practicality.

🔗Premium Polka Dot Treat Bags for Gifting and Parties

Last week, I was on the hunt for unique and vibrant treat bags for a friend's birthday party. I came across these polka dot cellophane bags and let me tell you, they truly stood out! The bright pink color added excitement and festivity to the festivities. The plastic material was a great choice, as it was sturdy enough to hold a variety of treats and the bags had a classic design that made them perfect for gifting.
Not only did they hold up well, but they also had the perfect size for small treats and candies. I appreciated that they could be used for various occasions, not just birthday parties. They were also reasonably priced, which made them an even better find.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. The bags were easy to use, and their durability made them a convenient solution for party favors. The only downside I noticed was that the twist ties for sealing the bags were a bit short, but this didn't significantly impact my experience.

Recently, I had the chance to use these Ruby Red Dots 12" Latex Balloons for a birthday party, and let me tell you, they were a hit! The vibrant red color and polka dot pattern really added a festive touch to the decorations. These balloons are great for any occasion, from patriotic parties to Valentine's Day celebrations.
One of the things that stood out to me was how sturdy they were. Even though a few of the kids played a little too rough with them, none of them popped. I was also impressed by their size, which made them perfect for decorating tables or hanging from the ceiling.
On the downside, I did notice that some of the balloons had a strange smell when they were first inflated. It wasn't overpowering, but it was definitely there. However, after a few days, the smell seemed to dissipate.
Overall, these balloons are a fun and affordable addition to any party. They're durable, easy to inflate, and add a touch of whimsy to any celebration. Just remember to keep an eye out for that peculiar odor when you first blow them up!

When purchasing a co-witness red dot sight, consider the purpose for which you will use it. If you will primarily shoot close-range targets, a smaller sight may suffice. However, if you need to engage targets at greater distances, choose a sight with a larger objective lens for improved clarity and low-light performance.
Additionally, think about the durability and weight of the sight. Lighter materials, such as aluminum, can reduce overall weight without sacrificing durability. If you plan to use the sight frequently, durability becomes an essential consideration.

Co-Witness Pistol Sights: Features, Considerations, and General Advice

Co-witness pistol sights are a popular accessory for gun enthusiasts. They allow for both iron sights and reflex sights to be used simultaneously, improving sight picture and target acquisition. To help you make an informed decision, let's discuss important features, considerations, and general advice when selecting a co-witness pistol sight.

General Features

  • Compatibility: Check that the co-witness pistol sight is designed to fit your gun model. Some sights have multiple mounting options, while others are specifically tailored to work with certain guns.
  • Light transmission: Consider how the sight will affect your vision in low-light situations. Some sights have tritium night sights, while others require the use of a flashlight. Opt for a sight that will work in various lighting conditions.
  • Durability: Ensure that the sight is made from high-quality materials, such as aluminum alloy, that can withstand harsh environments and rough handling.
  • Ease of use: A co-witness pistol sight should be user-friendly, with intuitive controls and adjustment options for windage and elevation. Look for a sight that is simple to learn but not limited in precision.

Considerations

  • Sight picture: Co-witness sights combine the traditional iron sights and a reflex sight, providing a wide field of view. However, ensure that the sight picture does not obstruct your view of the target. Some sights may require some adjustment to achieve the ideal sight picture.
  • Red dot durability: Red dot sights, often found in co-witness sights, can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If you will be frequently using your co-witness pistol sight in harsh environments, it is important to invest in a high-quality sight.
  • Laser compatibility: Some co-witness pistol sights allow for the use of a laser, enabling the combination of a dot sight and a laser for increased accuracy. If this is important to you, look for a co-witness sight that supports laser attachment.
  • Price: Co-witness pistol sights range in price from budget-friendly to higher-end models. Consider your budget before making a decision, but understand that spending more money may result in better quality and durability.

2024.05.21 05:53 Responsible_Tea7466 My Ideal Nickelodeon Schedule

I have too much free time so I created an example schedule for what I'd like to see on Nick for a weekday in ~2018 - 2019 (there's barely any variety rn so I'm just gonna base this schedule between those years)

6:00 AM - Full House or George Lopez
7:00 AM - Spongebob or Loud House (Any juggernaut show)
Nick Jr:
8:00 AM - PAW Patrol
8:30 AM - Bubble Guppies
9:00 AM - Blaze and The Monster Machines, or any of the newest cartoons airing around this time.
9:30 AM - Dora The Explorer, maybe Go, Diego, Go!
10:00 AM - Thomas & Friends
10:30 AM - Peppa Pig
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Repeats or reruns of shows from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM or live actions shows, but there aren't any substantial live action shows during this time. Acquired programming shows that aren't as popular or are already cancelled like Team Umizoomi can also be aired. Maybe even a Nick Jr Rewind (so both nostalgic millennial/Gen Z parents can tune in along with their young kids) during this time, airing stuff like Blue Clues or even Pinwheel from the 70s, idk.
Nickelodeon: Juggernaut Cartoons (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM reserved for extremely popular shows to maximize ratings):
2:00 PM - SpongeBob, or acquired programming like Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks, Power Rangers, etc.
3:00 PM - SpongeBob; the show's usually classified eras (Seasons 1-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-now) will each air evenly: the first three seasons along with the newer seasons (assuming SpongeBob also airs at 2:00 PM) can have one or two reruns, seasons 4 - 8 will only have a single rerun (4-5 can be an exception when 1 - 3 are done airing (shows will also air in order: from season 1 episode 1 to the latest episode; in this case of SpongeBob, the eras will air in order).)
4:00 PM - The Loud House
Nickelodeon: Premiere Cartoons (Newer Cartoons that need some spotlight, so a good time from 5:00 - 7:00 can help):
5:00 PM - Rise Of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or any of the newest cartoons around this time.
5:30 PM - Harvey Beaks (Good show that got done dirty, so I'd personally still have it be here airing new episodes (Basically just not cancelling the show))
6:00 PM - Welcome To the Wayne
6:30 PM - Acquired programming like Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks, Power Rangers, etc.
Nickelodeon: Live Action Shows (Just live action stuff or any major stuff Nick wants to air, like a movie or something):
7:00 PM - Henry Danger or the newest show or around this time.
7:30 PM - Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn
8:00 PM - The Thundermans
8:30 PM - Any game shows or miscellaneous live action show. Maybe an old sitcom like ICarly or Drake and Josh or something more recent like Big Time Rush.
Nick at Nite:
9:00 PM - Full House
9:30 PM - George Lopez
10:00 PM - Mom, or any new originals for Nick at Nite (if there should be any)
10:30 PM - Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I guess, idk, any show can be here.
11:00 PM - Friends
11:30 PM - The Big Bang Theory, then Young Sheldon airs whenever it needs to (TBBT seemingly never aired on Nick at Nite, but Warner Bros can possibly see the potential in airing reruns on Nick at Nite)
Nick Rewind (Mainly the 90s shows):
12:00 AM - Hey Arnold!
12:30 AM - Rocko's Modern Life
1:00 AM - The Ren and Stimpy Show or Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
1:30 AM - The Wild Thornberrys or Rocket Power
2:00 AM - Catdog
2:30 AM - The Angry Beavers
3:00 AM - The Adventures of Pete & Pete, or repeats of what's been shown from 12:00 AM to 2:30 AM, some 2000s cartoons here, or the 90's sitcoms below.
3:30 AM - Kenan & Kel
4:00 AM - The Secret World of Alex Meck
4:30 AM - Welcome Freshmen
The shows above can change in what's aired. This is just what I think most of the audience during this late night would like to see - I'd love to see something like El Tiger or Catscratch, maybe just more action shows from the 2000s like Danny Phantom or MLAATR. The shows below used to be Nickelodeon's juggernauts, having them air earlier can bring in more viewership from kids that happen to wake up really early or something. Airing right as the block starts at 12:00 AM can also bring more viewers in already familiar.
5:00 AM - Rugrats, then Rugrats All Grown Up after finishing up its run.
5:30 AM - The Fairly Oddparents (Only seasons 1 - 7, maybe 8, but never 9 - 10)
6:00 - 7:00 AM can also have more recent shows from the 2010s like TMNT 2012 or Robot and Monster. Also, if it were to be the schedule of right now, probably like an hour of each Cartoon, 30 minutes for the Spongebob spinoffs, idk. If you noticed any missing time slots Spongebob at 2:00 PM then Loud House at 3:00 PM, assume that the 2:30 PM time slot is taken up by the former show.

Here's how a weekend schedule could look like:
Morning Throwback (Recent 2010s-ish cartoons no longer airing on Nick along with popular Nick shows back in the day):
6:00 AM - Rugrats
7:00 AM - The Fairly Oddparents
8:00 AM - Jimmy Neutron, then Planet Sheen after Jimmy Neutron finishes up its run.
9:00 AM - Acquired Programming like Alvin and The Chipmunks, Power Rangers, etc.
9:30 AM - Winx Club
10:00 AM - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012)
10:30 AM - Avatar: The Last Airbender, then followed up by The Legend of Korra after Avatar finishes its run.
11:00 AM - TUFF Puppy or Bunsen is a Beast
11:30 AM - Robot And Monster or failed 2010s Nick cartoons like The Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, etc.
Main Cartoons (An hour of each of Nick's currently airing cartoons):
12:00 PM - SpongeBob
1:00 PM - The Loud House
2:00 PM - Harvey Beaks
3:00 PM - Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
4:00 PM - Welcome To the Wayne
Nickelodeon: Premiere Cartoons/Sitcoms (If there're any new premieres for any cartoons or live action shows, they can air here. Otherwise, just the same Live Action shows as before):
5:00 PM - Henry Danger
6:00 PM - Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn
7:00 PM - The Thundermans
Nickelodeon: Movie Night (Just a random movie like they're always airing nowadays; at least not the same movies over and over)
8:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Top Gun (Rated PG apparently), or anything else from Nickelodeon's and Paramount's movie catalogue.
11:00 PM - Friends, or any new originals for Nick at Nite (if there should be any). Maybe a recent premiere of a new show from other channels like CBS, MTV, etc.
Nick Rewind (Mainly 2000s shows):
12:00 AM - Invader Zim
12:30 AM - Danny Phantom
1:00 AM - My Life as a Teenage Robot
1:30 AM - The Might B!
2:00 AM - As Told by Ginger
2:30 AM - Catscratch
3:00 AM - The X's
3:30 AM - El Tigre
4:00 AM - Back at the Barnyard
4:30 AM - Tak and the Power of Juju
5:00 AM - Mr Meaty
5:30 AM - Unfabulous

2024.05.21 05:53 Sarcastic_Rocket All the Treyarch perk systems are fundamentally flawed

I want to start by saying this is just the Treyarch systems I'm not familiar enough with the others to say anything. I still play BO2, BO3, BO4, and Cold War all the time and don't go 2 weeks without playing them. I love most of the games, this doesn't mean I hate zombies, or hate a certain game. I just thought about how I'd want the new game to work and I just something I noticed about the systems, and wondering if you guys feel the same way, and how you feel about my ideal perk system.
OG system: WaW, BO1, BO2, BO3
WaW & BO1 have the much worse double tap 1.0
WaW doesn't have Solo Quick Revive
You only get 4 perks, they all immediately disappear at a down, so you lose all motivation to keep playing or you just die trying to buy them back. some perks are required and some are so bad you never use them, so you always use the same perks and maybe change one of two from game to game. You're only hope to get more perks are with Easter eggs or gums and those are mostly random, and also disappear at a down.
BO4:
They make up for the lack of perk diversity, and fixed a lot of the bad perks, and cater to certain playstyles more. However you start with the max health, and the max revives buffing the player a little to much at game start. Plus certain perks work best with certain guns, if you're going for camoes or weapon unlocks, and get something from the box and don't have the complimentary perk do you just go with it? You might get a box only SMG and really need Bandolier, or kills for the helion and don't have PHD. The perks fit certain playstyles so if you get a random one instead of something that just doesn't do much, you might get one that actively disrupts you. Plus the fun originality of the machines and jingles is lost.
Cold War:
Everything is too strong, and there's no perk cap. Tier 5 perks are buffed versions of the original perk plus two other perks mashed in there. Mule kick gives unlimited ammo, PhD is basically advanced movement, elemental Pop is also electric cherry, death perception is a salvage farm. Wonderfizz is selectable so you don't even need to know where the perk machines are on a map, just the one perk spot. All it takes is points to be the most over powered a player can ever be in any zombies game ever.
Vanguard:
I don't need to explain this one.
My Ideal perk system:
Original perks come back, Quick Revive is in the spawn room, in multiplayer its just a perk. In solo it doesn't take a perk slot (like self revives in cold war). It starts cheap but gets more expensive each time, so if you are a bad player and go down a lot you can't depend on it to save you all the time, eventually the revives will become more expensive than you can earn if you aren't good and eventually you'll die. Three hit at spawn jug adds two more hits. Perk machines are scattered across the map almost every room has a perk machines and there's a BO3 style wonderfizz system for the rest. Theres a 5 perk cap, with the easter eggs and gums just giving you an extra perk slot, instead of a random perk. The 5 original slots have a perk decay on down like the BO4 system. You can re buy a perk at the machine (so not applicable to the wonderfizz perks) and it upgrades the perk in some way, like the Odin perk slot did, only one perk can be upgraded.
No losing all your perks on every down, big perk diversity with room to change perks from game to game, knowing where perk machines are is important, perks dont become super overpowered over time you get an extra strong perk but it's not pre selected before the game and you only buy it once.

Deep learning, AI and Machine learning ServeWorkstation Built from Scratch
Hey everyone, this my AI workstation that I built from scratch!
Here are the specs and the reason why i chose these parts for my build.

Comes pre-installed with necessary Nvidia CUDA, and drivers for GPU/AI.
Case Its a testbench case I found for $25 on Amazon. I like the idea of having the open air case in the event that I add more GPU's to the board.
Motherboard: Gigabyte MZ32 AR0 Rev. 1 I chose this motherboard mostly because of its ability to use the scalable AMD EPYC series processor. 16 cores can be upgraded up to 64 (128 threads). It’s also perfect for AI because it offers 5 generation 4 PCIe x16 slots. Perfect for cramming as many Nvidia GPU's to the main board as one can afford. Comes with a ton of SlimSAS ports for bandwidth, I'm sure ill find something to do with these as the project unfolds.
Storage 2x 1 TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSDs 1x Seagate BarraCuda 8TB HDD.

The Samsung NVMe drives are what I had in my PC drawer. they have great performance and work excellent as a boot drive. I could also easily create two operating systems attached via NVMe without having to make a partition. This is great if i need to move an OS to a different machine for whatever reason.
The 8TB Seagate BarraCuda HDD is for Storing models. It is a cost friendly, high capacity drive with decent performance.
CPU EPYC 7302 processor with 16 cores (7nm):
Speaks for itself. Will need to upgrade if more GPUs are added.
GPU Gigabyte Windforce 3x 3090ti:
This is what I had for my gaming and video editing PC. since I no longer game I have decided to use it for this application. I have never seen this GPU go above 64C, even at full workload. Its a massive heatsink that keeps everything inside very cool.
Memory 1x Module of 64GB Samsung 2666MH/z DDR4 LRDIMM: This was relatively cost efficient, bought second hand on eBay. I’m happy with the data rate, although I may have to upgrade to 3200MH/z in the future.
Will add more as time goes on.I would like to continue learning how to train AI models on this platform. Some things that I would like to add to it in the future: GPU Bay, more RAM! If i require more GPU's in the future, I will build a GPU rack for space and attach them to the motherboard with x16 risers, before eventually upgrading to the GPU that I mentioned earlier.

Help dating antique cup pulls/what type of metal?
I recently started a new restoration project - my grandmothers antique vanity. I’ve been told her father built it for her when she was a teenager, so I assume it was made somewhere in the 1920’s-1930’s. The drawer pulls were covered in multiple coats of paint. After a quick paint thinner soak all of the paint washed off, and then I lightly scrubbed them with a little BKF and the pulls in the photos are what I have now. I’d love to know how to polish them and make them look close to original if possible, but I have no idea what metal they’re made out of. They are magnetic, so not brass, and you can see on the backside that some of them are showing a darker grey/silver color as opposed to the pretty two-tone copper and gold colors on the fronts.
I did some research on the screws used to fasten them also and would love to know just how old they are. They’re mostly uniform and from what I can tell they’re machine made - threads almost identical, slots on the washer heads mostly centered, but they still have the blunt tip which, from what I’ve read, was common only until the late 1800’s/early 1900’s.
Basically, I’m very curious and would love to know any information anyone might have. Also tips on how to safely Polish the fronts of the pulls! TIA ♥️

Hey, back again with some more pre-move blowout sale items. As always, local is preferred. I'm in zip 19403, that's local to KOP, Oaks, Norristown, Lansdale, Collegeville, Phoenixville, and so on. I've got a lot of swaps here and you can also vet me on eBay (same name).
Everything BUT the PC is available to ship. I WILL NOT SHIP THE PC. Yes, even for you. You, the one reading this. I won't ship it to you. Please don't ask. I'm begging you, just this once, don't spam me with "Shipping the PC?" messages.
Shipped items will be via PirateShip. Please include your zipcode if messaging about a shipped item. I think these are priced pretty competitively but if I'm off, let me know and/or treat as OBO (especially for multiple items); I will ignore lowball offers.
Now, the stuff:
I've also got a HOTAS I'm trying to sell, here: https://www.reddit.com/hardwareswap/comments/1cvdgn2/usapa_h_magic_keyboard_11_t_flight_hotas_4_evga/
As always, thanks for looking. I've had really good experiences for the most part on HWS going back years and years now so I hope these are good deals that find a nice home.

2024.05.21 03:30 Dangerous-Invite9601 My Helpful Mech/Radar/Resupply Build

My Helpful Mech/RadaResupply Build
For this you will need 4 parts: Scout Armor, UAV Recon Booster, B-1 Supply Backpack, and the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit. This leaves you two stratagem slots to bring in whatever you like.
The build has three main benefits: 1) SPEED/STAMINA. the mech is a wrecking ball to terminids, but also allows for your character to not use stamina! This is wildly underrated. Traversing difficult terrain slowly can get you killed, the mech charges ahead like no big deal, crushing boulders and bugs alike.
2)RADAR. So with the UAV booster and a scout armor set, you can sit in your mech with your radar turned on and actively ping the map as you take on objectives. The scout armor’s ping and UAV-boost makes you a walking radar tower for your squad. You can ping and see enemies across the map!! Start making those call-outs and watch your squad turn into a killing machine. Intel can turn the tide in any battle. Use your brain. Fight Smarter, not harder. Plus the mech has air-conditioning.
3)Resupply. Your teammates will be shooting a lot more with your effective call-outs, now that you are a radar wizard. Which means they will likely run short of ammo. No need to fret Helldiver, as you have a backpack full of ammo, stims, and grenades on your back. Hop out of your mech and resupply your buddies, or yourself. I know, it’s genius.
————— What do y’all think of my Mech build? I basically just do it when I’m playing w my guys, but it works great with randoms too, I just usually pick one to follow around and act like a bodyguard/resupply/radarobot 🤙🏼🎮
