I’m moving into my grandma’s house soon, but all of my furniture is black (desk, nightstands, tv stand), and my bed is an upholstered dark grey. Tbh, looks great to me. But the problem is that my sister left me 5 bookshelves and a cube organizer and they’re snow white!! Painting the shelves and organizer isn’t an option, and neither is replacing them. I want to find a way, preferably cheap (less than $250) to make the space cohesive. Not all furniture is in the room yet, so they’ll be stock images if they are in my current place. All look identical to stock, bed is slightly lighter but not by much. Desk will go where white desk is, bed + nightstands will go where rollaway is, tv stand under the thing on the roof (a/c???)

I do plan on replacing the curtains with black blackout curtains (necessary, light sensitivity) I’m thinking adding some more color to distract from the weird colors, and maybe putting my white decor on the black furniture and vice versa

I recently got my hands on the Royal CS120 Black Coin Sorter, and let me tell you, it's been quite the experience. At first, I was excited to sort my loose change into quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies using these neat little tubes with fill lines. But boy, was it challenging!
Firstly, the tubes were pretty big, which made it hard to fit in the smaller coins like pennies and dimes. I had to constantly open the lid and adjust the tubes, ensuring the white line was correctly aligned to prevent any mix-ups. But honestly, it wasn't all that bad. I thought it'd be tedious, but it actually became quite fun.
The digital readout that counts the total money in the sorter? Well, that was another story altogether. It didn't always give an accurate count, but I didn't mind much because I bought the sorter mainly for sorting, not counting.

There was a discussion here not too long ago about transporting ammo. I believe it was specifically about driving from out of state gun shows. Well I’ll be traveling from the Southwest next month and thought I’d buy some ammo cheap and bring it back. I called the airline and they confirmed it will have to be placed in a locked box (same as transporting a firearm) in my check in bag and declared at the desk. Glad I called. When looking for a cheap hotel room, on short notice you don't get very much. Super 8 by Wyndham Lenexa, Overland Park/ Mall Area gives even less, one might say they don't give anything at all.
Checking in at 11 pm went smoothly and I was excited for a bed to sleep in with my exhausted wife, even requesting a room by the stairs was granted. Walking into our room and glancing around it was not long after, we found multiple glaring errors. Which did we notice first? The literal hole in the drywall from the door being slammed open one too many times, or maybe it was the broken dresser handle or perhaps it was the rustiness and grimey residue on all of them. It was late and while checking in we were misinformed that we would not get a refund so we both shrugged our shoulders and climbed into bed. Ohh maybe it was the bathroom counter top disconnected from its base, or the bathtubs water spicket improperly sealed exposing the bare pipe. The window curtain blocking the air conditioning from working correctly, or the extreme humidity this caused for the room. I made a list and informed the front desk attendant of these errors so our deposit was safe.
The same desk attendant woke us up early the next morning, which was another whole ordeal in itself that I will not get in to.
I left in the morning, while my wife stayed back, she left the hotel around 2 pm and I arrived back around 3:30 pm. In that hour or so of the room being vacant someone had entered to "fix" the hole in the drywall. They were not too successful in this attempt, as I entered the room I noticed chunks of drywall spread across the entrance walkway, a dirty footprint caked on the bathroom floor, and more drywall in and around the now full trash can. I took a shower, packed all of our stuff and went down to the lobby just after 4 pm to explain the situation, check out and get our money back.
Even though it was extremely unsatisfactory I had no issue paying for the first night. The front desk attendant was kind and helpful, however asking his manager he proceeded to inform me that due to being past the check out time 11 am and that it was after 4 pm he would have to charge me for the second night. Utterly baffled, mentally exhausted at the mental gymnastics, and a line forming behind me I checked out and got the refund for the reminder of my stay minus 2 nights, again I have to state we had only been there for 1 night. How could I check out before 11 am when the final and most errgreious mistake was made around 3 pm?
Overall it was the best $248.71 I ever spent. I would HIGHLY recommend against staying at this disgusting hotel. If you find yourself contemplating staying there, I am hoping they plan on paying you the $248.71 for the privilege of a stay less than 24 hours.

I'm finally going to swap my beloved MX518 for a wireless successor. I have started with the MX500 > MX510 and since the last 10 or so years the MX518. They have served me very well, I tried the G502 for a little bit and thought it absolutely sucked.
However the MX518 I have is dying, and I would like to get rid of the cables on the desk.
I always thought I had palm grip, but reading a lot of posts here and via Youtube I came to the conclusion I have a hybrid grip between palm and fingertip (my palm sometimes barely touches the back of the mouse).

At first I thought about the Dav3 but I feel the hump might be too big for me.
Now i'm looking at the Viper v3 Hyperspeed instead. I actually like the replaceable battery as I don't have to use a cable to charge the mouse. But I also see a lot of positive reviews of the (cheap) VXE r1 Pro max.
