We all know cheating in Conan, thanks to easily obtainable and relatively affordable hacks, is out of control especially in populated official PvP servers. The cheats, currently being offered by someone named Xetal, allows players to speed around the map, see through walls, chests, benches, beds, and unconscious players, and enter player bases regardless of server settings. A select few individuals even have the ability to loot every single piece of loot a player owns with a simple console command, something only admins have the power to do. This of course drives players away and Funcom continues to alienate their leftover dedicated playerbase by not acknowledging the issue at all and stonewalling us with silence.
I have friends who are in regular contact with Xetal who just released an update to the hacks today. The hacks now allow cheaters to change the time of day in-game at a whim, which may not seem like a big deal, until it's always night time or someone is constantly switching the lights on and off.There are new updates to what they can do to your thralls as well. Not anymore! Your thralls and companions are now at the mercy of the same hitbox pulling many of us experience when facing someone with these cheats. Nothing you own is safe.
I have dedicated thousands of hours of my time into this game. Conan Exiles is my favorite game of all time, and I truly think it could be one of the best out there if Funcom wasn't so incompetent and ignored their player base. I thought the introduction of the battle pass and bazaar would help resolve many of the issues the game has, but nothing has been done. I have invested heavily into this game and seen no attempts to even acknowledge any of these issues. I am at the point where I am even ready to quit the game and put Funcom on my black list out of spite. I will never touch a game published by them again if this is never resolved.
However, I have not lost hope yet, and will continue to actively report these hacks, put an end to Xetal's business, and fight against anyone else with ambitions to ruin this game. Me (M25) my girlfriend (F25) and friend (M29) applied to tour these apartments (built roughly 7 years ago) that were running a move in special. If you moved in by certain date you get discounted renter for duration of lease. The woman seemly in charge reaches out via phone and asked what days we had available and we schedule a time. Fast forward to the tour, we walk the apartment everything is good and we begin the process of asking all necessary questions: What are all the other fees you guys charge, when would we need to make payments for rent, deposit, pro-rated rent for the remainder of the month we would be moving in, etc. She begins to explain all the fees and we explicitly ask about a pet fee as we have both a dog and cat. She insisted there was no pet fee, nor a pet deposit and that we wouldn’t have to worry about that. That shocked us as we had currently been paying a substantial pet fee at our current residence and understand most other places charge them.
We leave the apartment really happy about the price, the condition of the apartment and decide to apply. Application fees are $100 each applicant ($300 total) and there is a $399.99 application hold fee. This is so they cannot rent the unit out to anyone else while they process our application. All together is was $699.99 plus tax to apply. The application fees were listed as non refundable and the hold fee would be returned only if the application was denied. That all seems a bit steep but considering what we paid to move in to the place we currently are it, it seemed somewhat normal. We call the woman who walked us through the property back and say we’d like to apply, she takes my card information over the phone and says she will be in contact.
A few days go by and we hear nothing. We reach out and can hardly get a call back or a logical answer on how long this process should take. The woman is constantly giving us the run around and whenever we call and someone else answers, they do the same thing. This continues for a week. At the same time all of this is going on, our scheduled move-in date stays the same and continues to inch closer and closer to move-in day. Another week goes by of the same run around before we finally get an answer that we’ve been approved. We see it as a bad sign but also consider the fact it just took awhile for the applications to process and we move on to signing the lease. The lease states that we are getting a discounted rent at $1699 a month, and the space for pet rent and pet deposit is left blank. It’s stated that upon signing the lease and being approved there is 48 hours to make all necessary move-in payments. We signed the lease on a Thursday and didn’t hear back from then until Monday night after calling Friday and Monday with no response. We get a call back Monday at 6:00 PM asking if we can do an orientation at 1:00PM the next day. We state that we all three work and although Tuesday is our scheduled move-in date, after getting no response we had not planned anything in advance in terms of time off work. We agree to come in not at 1:00 PM but at 5:45 PM and over the phone they state they have some concerns. They state the women who showed us the property and who has been assisting us in the whole process has since been fired and that we would have to pay a pet deposit of $1000 and $50 a month for each pet ($100 total extra each month) if we wanted to move-in and get our keys.
I explained to the person we met with that this is a legal binding contract and that if they choose to break it we would like to get a full refund. The person claimed they would not be able to make any accommodations or issue any refund for the applications or hold fee and that by the fair house act, he cannot legally not charge a pet fee and pet deposit.
Sorry this is so drawn out, Im just stuck in shitty situation and felt the need to explain as much as I could. I have attached the lease for reference. - Persistent online world
- You spawn in one of the cities
- You can hunt animals for resources, chop tree's for wood, mine ore etc.
- You can sell there materials to NPC's for gold, or sell them to other players
- With your gold you can rent out one of the houses in a city
- Each city has a bank, you deposit your gold in your bank account
- Rent is taken out every 12 hours (real-world time), if you fail to pay rent you get kicked out.
- There is a skill tree for each profession
- Blacksmithing
- Tailoring
- Woodworking (create furniture)
- Alchemy
- etc
- If I am a tailor I might need certain items that only a blacksmith can make (e.g. belt buckle)
- Players rely on trading with other players to get materials they need
- Each city has a marketplace, you can rent out a stall (daily cost) and hire an NPC (daily cost) to sell your items for you, so you can still make money while offline.
- You can also rent out a empty block of land outside of the city where you can build your own house or place of business.
- For example, I can save up enough gold to rent a block of land outside a city and build my self a lumber mill, I can hire some NPC's to go out and chop wood and cart it back to the mill where they will process it into wooden planks and other timber materials, then I can instruct the NPC's to deliver the processed materials into the city and hand them over to my vendor NPC.
- Business is picking up, I make a lot of gold, more and more players are joining the server, rental properties are starting to run out. I rent some more blocks of land and build some houses and rent these out to new players.
- There are NPC service workers such as guards that patrol outside the city to kill wild wolves.
- We as players are unable to fight, so wolves kill us easily.
- There is a tax system where each resident has to pay a daily tax that pays for NPC service workers (such as the guard)
- Players can vote on the tax rate and where the tax money is spent.
- For example players decide to lower the tax rate, this means there's less funding for guards, in turn the wolf population starts to rise and more players die to wolves.
- Other areas tax money can be spent is welfare, new players get a daily pay-check to help them get started.
- When you rent one of your houses out to a player you both sign a contract which looks something like this:
- John Doe agrees to pay 12 gold per day to Bob Smith
- If John misses 3 payments in a row then Bob has the option of going to the property and removing all of Johns belongings and placing them outside in crates. The door lock is also replaced, now Bob can find a new tenant.
- John will have to go bring a cart to haul away his crates of belongings if he wants to move them into another property.
- John is sent a letter from the court saying he owes Bob 24 gold and the payment is due in 4 days, if he fails to pay he will be arrest by guards and put in court where other players will play the role of jurors. John will have to use VOIP or type out his defence and try and convince the jury to extend his payment due date, otherwise he goes to prison.
- Optionally instead of all players voting like a democracy, one player will be king and they will choose the tax rates.
- Each server has a list of laws that the king can change.
- Tax rate %
- After how many missed payments can a Landlord evict the tenant
- How many guards are currently hired
- Welfare pay-check
- If the community are not happy with the king they can cast a vote to dethrone him. Once this happens an election period start that lasts 3 hours. In this period any player can register them selves as a candidate to become king, they have 3 hours to go around to each other player and sweet talk them to convince them to vote for them.
- After 3 hours the vote is cast and a new king is in place.

I, 33F, have been married to my husband 43M for 3 years now, together for 5 years. His daughter (22F) has HATED me since day 1. For context, I’ve never once tried to mother her and have only tried to be a supportive adult. In the beginning I tried everything to extend an olive branch, I financed a car for her in my name, I added her as an authorized user on my credit cards to help establish her credit after she turned 18. No matter what I did there was always open hostility and blaming me for anything that went wrong in her life. She gets pulled over for a DUI? It’s my fault because I must have called the cops on her and told them. She loses something? It’s my fault because I must have stolen it from her. The examples are endless. It got to the point where she told my husband that he had to choose between us and when my husband stood by my side, she didn’t attend our wedding and went no contact with us for a year and half. She resumed contact when she wanted his help, but it’s always with the caveat that I am not around. She throws fits whenever I am involved even if it’s as simple as we invite her to dinner. She is always asking for money since resuming contact since she refuses to hold a job. He ended up paying for her rent, gas, groceries, and fun money for over a year. Well he finally cut her off financially and only gave her the opportunity to earn money by cleaning our office. He started the business and I work with him. We had previously closed the office down and went full remote but we recently opened a new office and he’s hired his daughter to do the cleaning, which was supposed to be during business hours a set day each week. I was planning on doing hybrid work and taking an office, but I recently learned that he’s going to let her have a key and come in when she’d like, unsupervised. I am extremely uncomfortable with the thought of her having any unsupervised access to any space that I call my own considering her continued hostility towards me. WIBTA if I tell my husband that if she’s allowed to clean unsupervised that I will stick with working fully remote?

Ethernet has landline 1900s phones two pairs wires reserved in the spec sheet its 8 or so wires when crimping the ends uses like two with one for ground and one seemingly empty and then has two for phone and some unused, with old 10/100 baseT coax with terminating ends exactly like optical or coax 90s cable TV with optical fiber 99% of the way just your block has coax to the rest which uses the 'same'DOCSIS data over cable standards as fibre optic.. just slightly worse latency and bandwidth is calculated by latency things like wifi lan has like 11 channels or 15 channels of frequency which optical calls wavelengths of light. A 2015 or around there linus tech tips video of him going to a swedish lan party called dreamhack had a bunch of multiple redundant 8Terabit or was it bytes of fibre optic internet they explained with light having 7 colors but having 8terabytes of bandwidth with different wavelengths of light called frequencys or a better term for optics is known as LASER ARRAYS of light at fixed frequencys that often plugs into the PC via ethernet cables or whatever for a gamer lan party or home/residential or small businesses at realistically within budget of anything with enough users to require that bandwidth or 'web hosting or web servers' you dont need to be an undersea cable or international link with 200terabits plus for an internet exchange to your main CBD or the fastest like the netherlands IX...
So the problem im trying to solve is, here in australia we got our undersea cables done wrong they kept breaking and we didnt have a navy or defense force securing our countrys communications to prevent war crimes and keep us connected to the global banking systems or whatever.. and then when our biggest telcos cable or fibre all had dialup speeds for around 2 weeks in the early years 2000s to force us to pay other countrys to connect to their links and be ' end of the line' maybe paywalled or proxied off the internet randsomewared to connect to and borrow bandwidth from other countries satellites and other countries undersea link cables which truly were indestructible to any cruise liner ships anchors whatever being flexible giant steel braided cables big as a CAR when australia finally paid to lay small sections of that stuff to link up to others and not pay randsome to internet butt bandits or have private businesses and multi nationals run their own links and ignore the public our lack of a defense force actually let somalian pirates literally somehow pick up and walk off with our expensive undersea car sized cables filled with a few arms thick of hair thin fibre optics which is cheapest clear resin enamels plastics about $3 not sure if USD per kilometer and resembles modern glass/glazing. How does anybody steal that stuff without people noticing like you cant just load it onto a truck and drive away? or a boat? if only satellites and some sort of defense organization existed to prevent us from being impersonated or whatever.. I had to pay a fortune for a mainboard with 10gigabit LAN port and everytime i got a high speed LAN port its been broken or missing so some pricks can sell ebay routers or switches for thousands here.. not knowing why its so expensive is youre paying fortunes for any real bandwidth because australia has to pay literal somalian pirates for their internet connections or privately owned businesses like telstra for access to their private links and glares at countries like new zealand and hawaii for being super technologically superior.. a cheap USB ethernet adaptor costs under 10 bucks on ebay or whatever and is maybe gigabit and your switches and routers 90% of the time you want the cheapest UNMANAGED switch possible. Yet the mainboard i recently purchased ASUS pro art creator x670E i recall had an issue with some asshats trying to steal pathetic measly 40gigabit USB4 chips from all the boards at the computer store to sell on EBay as other junk, when anything in the universe with an M.2 ULTRA slot does 40gigabits since PCI express 3.0/4.0 as PCI express 3.0 SSD drives famously use a specific I/O controller chip which gives them 38gigabits of the ultra M.2 slots 40gigabits of bandwidth. But for a couple years when AMD had pci express 4.0 and better than M.2 ultra intel was playing catch up on PCI express 3.0 and still had regular m.2 in all their boards until AMD was ready for pci express 5.0 my friend on intel bought the same NVME drives and complained they had corruption errors or issues i later learned his board wasnt fast enough and he was maybe trying to use the samsung magician RAM disk and enable NVME features and functions intel maybe did not yet support.
So.. why is USB 4 so many years late and why is it so dang expensive when terabits of ethernet or anything optical is like the cheapest stuff ever and comes with every internet connection since the 90s at the lowest cheapest mhz and 1900s land line wire telephones ever, remember digital isnt a physical thing and everythings literally analog with a sensor or multimeter whatever mathematically translating it to a graph or algebra equation mapping it into different values digitally +10 -10 whatever using microphones or camera sensor whatever. the gigabits tax and uhh LAN port taxes for dumb gay australians being literally see it via satellite outerspace levels dumb and gay astrogaylian should not apply to the cheapest of raspberry pie free 3d print or laser CNC yourself something computery like risc V for the cheapest of USB flash drives or memory cards etc.

also before you complain, but ethernets not the same as USB you cant power over ethernet or use your houses electrical wires as ethernet. You also cant use ethernet for monitors or displays, and its not like you can extend HDMI range limit of a about 10 to 15 meters by swapping its ethernet wires with optical ones for it to maintain its HDMI 0 latency spec or type C USB 0 latency spec. USB lets you connect heaps of devices you cant do that with an internet or ethernet for things like keyboard and mice or monitors or whatever. I understand what you mean power over ethernet or PPOE standards suck theres no way those are a thing. using devices over the internet and not the intranet who does that? thats so dumb. remote administration, theres no such thing youre mistaking malware or rootkits im sure. you cant connect a heap of devices up or entire computers to a ethernet port thats the dumbest gayest thing i've ever heard in my entire life! Captains, as voted last night, our Guard Headquarters and all the stations in the city have been connected to the new telegraph system! Alone, they're only able to communicate between each other (although even that is a significant benefit), but as the system is further developed, they'll be able to contact and be contacted by various locations all over the city, only increasing their effectiveness. We'll have more opportunities to install new telegraphs in due time.

As the headline says, I got some pretty mind blowing news today. For context, I’m the oldest of 4 grown adult children in my 40s, mom is in 60s my siblings are 12 years + younger with the baby 26. Long set up but I promise it sets the tone…My mom has always been very controlling of everything, utilizing her children as commodities for visits with family and other parents etc. I never knew my dad and when relationships ended with the other siblings fathers, they only got access on her say so etc which was not often. By the time I was 16, I was in high school raising 3 siblings ranging from infant to toddler. She was barely home working long haul trucking while stepdad at time was recovering from flipping his big truck. He ultimately tried to kill himself again in my presence with my siblings asleep (he was Vietnam vet with ptsd) one night and I stopped him and called for help. He went away for a few months but ultimately she brought him home one day months later, shipped my siblings off to my aunt and told me at 17, I had 24 hours to find place to live. I was still in high school but newly dating a guy who had lawyers for parents. They stepped in took custody of me.
Needless to say I was traumatized, she took off with stepdad and went back on road with him. I didn’t get to see my siblings often because they were hour away from me and I barely spoke to my mom. She ultimately didn’t speak to me till the weekend of my 18 birthday. She called to tell me to come back home and quit school to take care of siblings because my aunt was no longer going to do it while they continued to drive cross country. I was senior in high school months from graduation and said NO. She said she would never speak to me again because I was selfish and I couldn’t see my siblings either.
This started decades long cycle, I barely got to see my siblings as they grew unless I did what she wanted which as I grew up, I chose less and less to conform. I only got to see them at family affairs that I was invited to with all family. My grandparents came to my 1st wedding when she refused to. Ultimately the stepfather in questioned that she chose over her own kids in my teens left her and cleared their bank account of his inheritance money the night she came to my house to visit with my second child shortly after I gave birth.
She has been relatively a single parent since, she had to come off road long haul trucking because she had no one to watch 3 young children all the time. The siblings grew into teens and young adults with some major issues. The two older ones cannot stay out of prison, the youngest struggled early in teen years, I tried to help where I could but it was not easy. Their 1st born was in dfcs custody before 2 months old, I took guardianship of both child and parent but they did not stick around and did their own thing. After 2 + years of failed parenting plans etc, we adopted to keep them in family despite the fact my own children were teens at this point.
My mom was angry and said I should have left them in dfcs to disappear but later tried to say I stole the child. My sibling does not feel the same way but they are still very heavily reliant on my mom financially (she control their bank account and money) she would not let them tell me she was pregnant with 2nd child and I didn’t find out till they were 4 months old. They hid pregnancy and baby from rest of family. By the 3rd child we had a better connection but they are still very reliant on my moms financial assistance and when she does not want me to know something or participate in certain events they won’t tell us or avoid contact. I don’t play into the antics though and one of my mom’s biggest issues with me is that I don’t call/text her on daily basis as my siblings supposedly do. I’ve explained that I have a busy life of my own multiple times. I have full time job, manage care of a special needs child and assist with care of aging fil while running a household of 6 people. My grown children still live at home because college and living expenses are too much to handle in this economy.
I do make an effort to text or call every few weeks. I connect for sure on holidays, birthdays etc. I knew when she called to come over today it was important and I was available despite it being a work day normally. She came in bluntly told me about her widow maker heart attack and triple bypass surgery that occurred while she was out on a run in the truck. My sister and aunt where has power of attorney over her will etc was notified in time for them to travel several hours to another state to be there by time she was out of surgery. Per my mom she told them to notify those who called or were in her 2 week call history. Which apparently left me out. I went back into both my call log and text history and showed her our communication with in 10 days of the event and she said she had no idea about it, she was high on morphine at time. I showed her the multiple text conversations we had had since no more than 3 weeks apart between each conversation since January, asking why she never mentioned it during those conversations. She never answered my calls during that time but that was not too unusual. I had met up with my baby sibling a few weeks ago to get the kids together and they never mentioned it either. My mom has been living with them since the event full time and has not worked since. No mention what so ever. I did find out two of her own siblings were also left out intentionally as well and found out much later too. The only reason I found out today was because she found out she had cancer in her kidney and has to have another surgery soon and wants me to get test to make sure I don’t have it. She is not apologetic about leaving me out of the loop at all. She says I have to call her or text once a week in order to be considered for notification of such events.

My question is, what is the next step from here? I know that I need to pick a set path to go down in the IT realm. Being a systems engineer seems cool, playing around with server racks and kubernetes clusters and stuff. I just don't like the travel aspect for that, at least for my employer.
I went to college for 6 years and I studied Java 7/8. I enjoyed doing the homework when I actually knew how to answer the questions, but oftentimes I had no clue what I was doing. Especially in Advanced programming. Into and Intermediate were alright, but I just couldn't grasp certain things like recursion and polymorphism.
At my current stage in life, I would like to get out of break/fix and hopefully interact with an IDE or command line more. I just don't know how to actually get there. I have no bachelors and no certs, but I do have Linux+ and Security+ books that are up to date. I'm working through Sec+ now, but it's really dry and not very interesting to me.
I just don't want to be stuck in help desk forever. Any insights into potential paths are appreciated. I do think that I could become a programer with a lot of effort, just as a side note.

Kaiser's proof of originality I think what's most interesting about Kaiser is that while the backstory explained Kaiser's mentality, we've been seeing signs of who Kaiser is as a person even before the backstory. His way of speaking theatrically, his constant obsession with sinking other players into despair, his self-harming attitude, and even the way he treats Ness as a person. All of what we've been seeing as been building up to the current backstory that we're witnessing unfold in our eyes.
Now, let's talk about the originality of Kaiser.

He's someone whose perception of love has been warped due to him being constantly tortured by his father. To him there is no such thing as kindness. In the world he lives in, you can only show kindness through the act of malice.
The act of hurting others and destroying their dreams brings him one step closer to being human. It explains the actions of Kaiser throughout the NEL, he isn't the type to play nice with others. While others would introduce themselves with a simple hello, he would rather introduce himself by challenging others to a fight as seen at the start of the NEL).

We've seen before that certain players in Blue Lock come from unfortunate homes and soccer is a means of escape to them. For Kaiser, it's no different and it's warped the way he views football. It is impossible to play football as a single person, soccer as a sport is one that requires you to communicate with your teammates and to craft plays to crush the opposition.
In order to counteract this level of teamwork, he created a single weapon to prove his individuality and sink his opponents into despair. That weapon being known as the Kaiser Impact. A weapon not born out of love, but pure malice. Even with such an invincible weapon, it's still a sport played by 11 people. Most people in his situation would have realized that they need to make a friend or at least a teammate they're on friendly terms with.

But instead, he decided to find someone that would be loyal to him to a fault. Somebody that couldn't challenge his ideas and wouldn't question him. Someone he could bring hope to and easily corrupt their heart. And that person being Ness, now before I dissect more into Ness and Kaiser's relationship. Let's take a quick moment to answer a question that a few people are wondering in this match. Even though Kaiser is such a talented player, why is his current level of play not as satisfactory?
Ultimate performance

So far in the current match, we've had 2 goals scored and each of them were done by a clash of peak performances. The first goal being a clash with Shidou and Charles pulling a similar move as the final goal scored in Ubers. And the next goal being scored by a clash of three players colliding their ultimate performances in order to score in this match.
Each of these goals were scored by following the proposed formula that Hiori explains in the panel above. Hunger -> Suitable Goal -> Flow -> Ultimate Challenge -> Peak Performance. Let's use Kunigami as an example! His hunger was destroying Shidou which transformed into his suitable goal of man-marking him. Leading him to reach the state of flow and having successfully completing his ultimate challenge of stopping Shidou, he reached his peak performance allowing Isagi and Hiori to make use of this.
If you've been reading so far and paying attention. In order to succeed in this match, you need to fulfill two simple conditions.

There are a lot of things eating at Kaiser right now, but if I were to name the biggest one. It's the fact that his current ego is not the one that will lead to his best performance. This ego of hurting others through malice is something that is eerily similar to that of his father when he was heartbroken. It's an ego that was born as a result of that day.
But this current ego leads him to seeing himself as not human and to plunge all of his foes into despair and to reign over his teammates as a tyrant. It's one that dissociates himself from reality and leads him to believing he's someone not worthy of love. Which has given him a warp sense of view on his relationship with Ness and one that was possibly blooming into a friendship. It's true that Kaiser approached Ness with the intent of using him as nothing but a tool. But is that how their relationship has stayed throughout everything?

If Kaiser considers Ness as a tool, then why is he openly laughing with him? Why would he allow someone else to touch his hair and get close to him? Better yet, why would he open his heart to someone else and reveal that part of his past? In Kaiser's mind he may consider Ness as nothing but a tool (currently), but his heart and actions are speaking differently. He's treating Ness as more of a friend, something that Kaiser has never had before in his life and has no way of knowing how to act with a friend. I'm pretty sure the concept of friendship is foreign in Kaiser's mind. So, where am I going with all of this?

I (and many others) believe that Kaiser is on the verge of an awakening. When Kaiser first awakened his ego, it wasn't out of despair as Kaiser seems to believe. But it was out of the fact that he wanted to protect the one thing in his life that he learned to love, the one thing that his father was attempted to take away from him. A soccer ball, Kaiser didn't awaken his sense of identity due to malice as he seems to believe, but due to the fact that in the first time in his life he learned to love something.
I believe that Kaiser at the end of this match will learn to view himself as human and will start to learn of the concept of love. And for that to happen he needs to receive a similar trigger and that trigger will be when he's on the verge of losing Ness. Which I'm not sure how that would happen, but what better way to awaken Kaiser fully by having his rival Isagi stealing Ness temporarily by forcing a pass out of him. Which will potentially spiral Kaiser to despair and lead to the birth of his evolution.

So, why do I think Ness being almost taken away from Kaiser is the key to his evolution? I think the ball in the flashback is literally just Ness and is foreshadowing the future for this two. The current Kaiser is very abusive to Ness and simply treats him as the ball in his flashback. Someone who is there to just be obedient to Kaiser and not make up a fuss. But I think what's really interesting is that the ball (Ness) is Kaiser's only companion and the moment he was about to lose that companion. It sparked the birth of his ego and prompted him into action.
Interlude: Ness's evolution So, if Kaiser's evolution is linked to Ness being taken away, then what is the key to Ness's evolution? I believe Ness's evolution will come before Kaiser's evolution and the key to that will be seeing Kaiser in despair and being on the verge of almost giving up. This will spark Ness to unleash his creativity and try to make a play that will allow for both him and Kaiser to succeed. But Isagi will be the first one to notice this change and will run to the perfect pass course forcing the pass out of Ness as he hoped Kaiser could have read him. Once Kaiser sees this interaction of Isagi stealing Ness's pass, that will be when Kaiser will awaken.
Honestly, I imagine it'll be a mix of Bachira's evolution for Ness and a Barou like conqueror moment for Isagi.

Kaiser's whole character arc seems to be heading in a direction where he's being forced to discover who he really is as a player and to understand what he wants. And in order to do that, he's being constantly met with the same level of despair that he forced onto others. In order for Kaiser to reach his peak performance, he has to fight with the same intensity of ego as he felt first when he discovered himself for the first time.
And I think one of the main things that needs to happen is Kaiser is taking a moment of introspection (possibly on the bench after Noa swaps with him). Understanding that behaving like his father isn't the best way to move forward in life. Him being constantly obsessed with putting others in despair is clouding his judgement and leading to him making reckless mistakes that he would normally avoid. And most importantly to realize that he no longer sees Ness as a tool, but as a friend for the first time in his life. Leading to him accepting Ness's creativity and to stop berating him.
And if Kaiser does possibly get benched, I think it'll be the moment he goes back to analyzing the field and planning his moves accordingly. Which will lead to Kaiser utilizing Ness's imagination on the field and leading to both of them succeeding in their ultimate challenge. Which is...
Making the Kaiser Impact: Magnus succeed.

Basically, how do you do this? Secrets such as database passwords. I am currently using appsettings.json , which is under C:\inetpub\... , but that means the file can be viewed by anybody who can log into the system.
Some other reddit comments say "The industry standard is environment variables" but how are they configured and for what user, and what prevents anybody else with server access from viewing them?
I have tried storing values in web.config intending to encrypt them with aspnet_regiis , however there does not appear to be anything in NET 8 that will read values out of web.config (even environment variables defined in web.config). Web searches find code samples from .NET framework 4.7 etc. that no longer work.

Recently switched over from Manjaro and just cannot get steam working well at all. Using Proton tried installing both .deb and flatpaks with the same results.
OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64 Kernel: 6.8.0-76060800daily20240311-generic CPU: Intel i7-4790 (8) @ 4.000GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

My friend had a world with the same mods corrupt previously as well. I have been trying to figure out what the issue is but am at a stand still. I am unsure if any of the mods we have installed are known for being unstable, either on their own or in combination with other mods. I also do not know if having this many mods is a risk for corruption in of its self. If so, downsizing is very doable. Our world became temporarily unplayable as we waited for the catalyst mod to release their update, making catalyst playable on the new calamity update. When catalyst released the update, the world owner downloaded it to the world and attempted to boot it up. Before restarting, he saved and exited the world, and closed tmod. He then restarted his computer. Upon boot up of the world, it did not allow him to join and sent him back to the world select screen, only for him to be met by a similar image as the one above. I guessed this may have been caused by a failed cloud save, as he may have restarted his computer too quickly, not allowing steam to make a proper cloud save, but I have no idea. Does anyone have any idea of what could be causing this, or where to start trouble shooting at? If you've read through this all, thank you and I hope you share any knowledge you may have. Side note: My game occasionally crashes on startup or upon loading into my friends world, and I have the log file of these crashes. From what I can tell within the log, it may be caused by the Wrath of the Gods mod, but I am unsure. Not everyone's game crashes though, as some other friends who play on the world have not experienced any crashes on startup or upon loading into the world. Apologies if this doesn't belong to this sub, I saw similar Etsy API related questions within the sub before and am really hoping someone out there has dabbled enough with the API and development to be able to assist.
I'm building out an application for a family members store, I requested access to the API on my account/email as I'm the one that would need the API Key and Secret, I made sure to include the full URL of the store this is being made for within the request form as required.
I've got the client side of the application ready to go, and I'm ready to start work on the server side that would handle all calls to the Etsy API. To get a grasp on the API outside of the docs, I've setup authorization via oauth 2 and gotten an access token via Postman but whenever I hit the endpoint I need

I just get back the following error:
I get not allowing anyone with API access to just put in any User ID or Shop ID and get ANY data we want but if the API access request specifically stated the store, and I'm using the shop_id for the GET request endpoint, I'd expect to be able to see what I need instead of being limited to shops owned by my account.
How do third party developers utilize this system without having to gain access to shop owners accounts if the shop has to be registered under your account? Does my family member need to add me to the store as an employee somehow?
