Hi. Im creating a c# program which creates a video of a song and posts it on tiktok. Right now my program uses spleeter to split the song into stems and then uses a script of GitHub to create waveform images of the stems

basically I want the stems of the songs to be placed on top of a FL studio timeline, synced to the song, then I want to overlay a image intop of the video. and then to contribute for todays gen's 3 second attention span, add some audio virtualisations ontop of the fl studio recording (the music making app in the video) and a little shake to the image
I've tinkered with ffmpeg before, and I reckon it could do the trick here. I'd use the waveform pictures and mix them with a pre-recorded FL Studio video using ffmpeg's filters, like VStack to stack images, Scroll to slide them around and Blend. And then tweak the overlay filter for that shake effect. Plus, I found out ffmpeg can whip up some basic audio visualizations, which is neat. But my main issue with this approach is, how the waveform images will look weird/out of place ontop of the fl studio video, because FL studio has a really spesific "theme". I could manually create a template and then use some other library to merge the template image and the waveform image. But, it feels a bit janky and would probably be a hassle to set up and implement.
So, I'm curious if you folks have any ideas, nifty libraries or GitHub gems to help me nail this video?

2024.05.14 20:27 TheOriginWizard Is there considered to be a best version to use?

I've been using RPG Maker since the 2003 edition, I buy every version and tend to make small games in my free time. Well it's my final year of university and we've been tasked with using any engine to make a game, the assets, art, music, etc have to be made by us.
I got permission to use RPG Maker since I know it better than unity/unreal. But now I need to decide on a version. So I thought I'd come here and ask you fine people! Which version would you consider the best for this situation? So perhaps ease of use, how easy it is to replace all of the files, make your own main menu, create a custom tileset, that kind of thing. But also perhaps which version gets the most support from the community, custom scripts, tutorials, general information known. I'd hate to end up in a situation where I'm stuck and cannot find a guide.
The game is going to be fairly simple in scope. No combat, life sim, make friends with people in town, go on fetch quests, go fishing, buy and sell items, etc. I have 4 months (Due in September)

2024.05.14 20:14 Techn0-Viking Artesian Cloaks (FSMP cloak mod) suddenly not working on save with Legacy of the Dragonborn

It's as the title says. I've been playing Skyrim for ages, and I have multiple saves separated by profiles in MO2. On all of them, I have FSMP and its requirements, it works perfectly, etc. Artesian Cloaks is fully functional on all saves and profiles, except for one. On all saves, FSMP is fully functional as well.
However I recently decided to get Legacy for the first time, I installed all the associated patches for it, loaded the game, and played. All FSMP mods work perfectly and beautifully on this profile and its saves, except for Artesian Cloaks. Everything else is fine, just not this mod.
I have run LOOT several times over, FNIS, I've changed my load order manually to move various patches around, and none of it works. Artesian Cloaks just outright does not seem to work with Legacy installed.
I've also tried to reinstall FSMP and all requirements, all cloaks, XP32, Artesian Cloaks, all patches, and so on, multiple times now. Still, Artesian Cloaks only works on saves that don't use Legacy, and it does not work on the one with Legacy.
Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, did you find a fix? If you found a fix, what was it?

I'm using the Steam Valheim Dedicated Server, and before update worked just fine. The world I'm trying to use on the server works just fine with Ashlands, but when trying to utilize the server I just get this in the Command Window (scroll all the way down once you've read a dozen or so shader warnings). I truly have no idea what to make of this, I don't know anything about coding. I figured out just enough to get the server running in the first place. No mods.

Iā€™m really excited to share a project Iā€™ve been working on called Flight of the Maganauts, a satirical musical. This show takes Americaā€™s most controversial ideologies and launches them into space for (what I think is) a hilarious and chaotic ride.
Synopsis: Theyā€™ve been cancelled on Earth, but they wonā€™t be erased. Join the MAGANAUTS on an intergalactic musical adventure as Americaā€™s worst ideas are taken to space. Characters include an antisocial incel bunkmate, a murderous Christian fundamentalist housewife, an aggressive January 6 shaman, and a corrupt, free-market-obsessed captain.
What I'm Looking For: Iā€™m seeking feedback on the script, characters, and songs. Any thoughts or suggestions to make this project better would be amazing!

I was at a party that for some reason I wasnā€™t enjoying. Suddenly a strange overweight redditor-looking man with a beard and graphic t shirt approached me. Under a hushed tone he revealed to me that he was a time traveler and had an important message for me. He coerced me to follow him as he looked for a less crowded area. We went outside and found a place to sit. It was still crowded out here but I guess he was satisfied with the location. Then he gave me the big news. I was on the edge of my seat and hanging on to his every word. He said ā€œlisten to the song (I donā€™t remember the name) by the black annes and the black Annieā€™s.ā€ I guess they are a conjoined band that got together over a complication due to their choice of name, and possibly music style. I wish I could remember the name of the song, but upon waking up I discovered that the band unfortunately does not exist. Lying bastard.

This has been marinating in my head for quite some time but it was buried under... Well, everything else
In the best and most delighted way possible, I'm trying to wrap my head around how Bambie did so darn well with the juries, outscoring the audience votes when it was widely speculated it would do well with the televote but crash and burn with the jury
Are the juries becoming more open-minded or do they just really, really like to reward good staging and vocals?
Given the juries' reputation for being old-fashioned and conservative, I was hoping for a tentative top 15 jury result for Bambie, but seeing them do well from the get-go and continue the trend throughout to 6th place really made my jaw drop (in the best possible way)
I'm still reluctant to believe the juries are rewarding the composition as much as I like the song myself. The chorus, possibly, but the verses and bridge almost certainly put some of them off. Bambie's vocals were very good and stable even when doing ballet (which engages core muscles a lot, it's impressive they did it this well) but I doubt many of the juries understood or appreciated the screaming, even if they did it technically flawlessly
I think it boils down to execution. The whole number from start to finish was meticulously crafted down to every detail, Bambie wasted not a single second of screen time, every shot had a purpose and they used the space and available camera angles cleverly. The performance had a clear storyline and it was not only scripted but also choreographed breathtakingly well. Add in the beautiful LED work (the shot of them on the ground lighting the candles is maybe my fav shot in all of ESC history - recency bias probably a bit at work here) and Bambie's clear knack, experience and drive as a performer, and I think we have the reason why
Even if most juries do not appreciate the genre and maybe even not some of the imagery, I could imagine there being a begrudging acknowledgement that the staging and performance itself are worthy of points. The whole thing from beginning to end was straight out of musical theater, so maybe some juries, even if conservative, could detach themselves and look at the thing as maybe the villain song of a musical rather than an earnest ritual taking place on stage
Anyway, this is getting long. I would love to hear your thoughts on why Bambie did so well!

2024.05.14 13:28 wiggly_wands I auditioned for a musical and was the worst one there

I auditioned for a musical last night. There was a dance portion, then a singing portion, then script reading. A long night for me, but I was excited. Iā€™ve been looking for things to get involved with to gain new experiences. I knew Iā€™d do fine with the singing portion and thought the dancing would be a good challenge for me.
The audition was full of college students who were so beautiful and fit. Iā€™m a 31 year old woman who works for a school.
I was, by far, the worst one there. The dancing was so incredibly hard, even while the choreographer taught the steps. I only followed along with everyone by watching others while we danced. But then we got to the actual dance audition and I had no one to follow along with.
I was very bad. However, I kept up the smiles and complimented others on their auditions. Iā€™m proud I went, but cried all the way home.
Itā€™ll take some time but I think Iā€™ll try again, but for a show with less dancing.

2024.05.14 11:48 le_avx Working extension to auto-sort downloads into folders?

Is there still extension for Firefox (and derivates) which actually works (under Linux) to move downloaded files into dedicated and configurable folders based on things like domain/file-type/-extension/date/...?
I found 'save in' (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/save-in/) which is supposed to work automatically based on some rules, however does absolutely do nothing with my files even with the most simple example like move files ending in .mp3 to downloads/music. And of course it does not give any output/indication it is actually running, file just ends up in downloads/.
(save_in also offers a right-click menu, which works, but is error prone with regards to forgetting and the actual download link first redirecting to some kind of script).
Anyone know of a working addon? Essentially I just want to be able to for example browse Printables and have files downloaded be stored in downloads/3d_printing/$pagetitle/$file

Real easy to lose hope these days, so I want to talk about something nice even if it's hard to. I want to hear from other Bunnies: what was your moment that you totally fell in love with NewJeans? I'll go first.
I never liked kpop. I wasn't a hater I just didn't listen to it. But when your 3 year old son with cerebral palsy asks to see "the super shy girls" to sing and dance to everyday, what do you do? My YouTube feed was filled with thumbnail after thumbnail of NewJeans. One day, I saw a girl in a yellow cardigan with a Les Paul electric guitar. I thought I must've seen it wrong. Kpop idols dance, not play guitar right? Of course, it was Hanni and she knocked my socks off. There's no other way to put it, I was utterly charmed by her talent and her sweetness.
At this time, I had no idea what Phoning was but one sleepless night I got a TikkiTokki rec of Hanni playing guitar. Eventually, she played and sang "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script. Existential crisis is a bit strong of a term, perhaps it was just an existential predicament. An existential pickle, if you will.
You see, when I was 19-20, I aspired to be a professional singesongwriter, but for reasons I'll hold close, I let that dream go. I had written tons of songs and performed a bit and I also covered songs, one of them being this very song by The Script. I hadn't heard the song since then, and something about listening to this charming girl singing it at the same age I was when I gave it all up did something in me at 2:00am in the dark of my bedroom. It's like I thought, where did a decade go? What have I been doing? It's like I remembered that I still have a dream. That I still want to create music. I want my loved ones to be inspired by the things I create if no one else. I started writing new music about month ago and I'm gradually putting together a simple home studio and I'll be releasing original music soon.
Watching Hanni love doing what I would have loved doing at her age makes me feel like the dream is alive and I'm truly inspired by her. I hope one day she knows there's a tired dad that she totally made fall in love with NewJeans, that new songs exist because of her just being herself, and that there's a 3 year old kid that doesn't let disabilities stop him from dancing his hardest in our living room with "the super shy girls" on screen.

[Scene opens with some ambient spooky music, and the sound of a ouija board piece scratching on the board, writing something out. Some sort of sound like a phasing in or out of energy or something as the ghost appears]
Ghost: Oh- uh, hello there!
[Sound of the board and piece falling on the floor, followed by a thud]
Ghost: Oh, Iā€™m sorry, I didnā€™t mean to scare you! Are you alright? You didnā€™t hit your head, did you?
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Huh? What do you mean who am I? You already asked if anyone was here! I said yes, and then spelled out my name for you! Remember? This just happened! Maybe you did hit your headā€¦
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Oh- well how did you think it was moving on its own then?
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Magnetsā€¦? Sorry, no. There are probably some spirit boards that are fake, but this one is genuine! It was mine, a long time ago. I was hoping youā€™d find it eventually when you first moved in here.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Yes, this was my apartment. This was my room, in fact. I was glad you were the one to end up sleeping in here and not your roommate. You seem more in tune with the other side. By the way, love the decor! Some of it is definitely mine, I was glad you put it back up! Most people donā€™t decorate their rooms with the possessions of long deceased inhabitants that they found in storage boxes in the back of a walk-in closet, haha. I used to live here with my mom, Iā€™m guessing when I died, she couldnā€™t stand to take some of my things with her. She was superstitious, so she never liked ā€˜occultā€™ related things. Although turns out she was right, so I guess she earned an I told you so. Too bad she left before I could get her to notice me. Most people canā€™t perceive me at all, and well, no one lived in this unit for a long time.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: How did I die? My my, thatā€™s an awfully forward question. To tell you the truth though, I donā€™t remember. The last thing I remember is watching tv in the living room, but I donā€™t know how much time passed between my last memory, and my death. I know for sure I died here though, I havenā€™t been able to leave this place. I havenā€™t even been able to go out into the main hall.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Ah, itā€™s not all bad! I can still turn the tv on, so thereā€™s that at least! Uh- sorry, a-about your power billā€¦ Ahem anyway, I seem to have this weirdā€¦ attunement I want to say, to certain things. I donā€™t know how it works, electromagnetic waves maybe? I didnā€™t pay much attention in high school science. Or- high school in general, really.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Oh, I donā€™t know why Iā€™m still here. Unfinished business, I guess? I donā€™t know, most spirits are angry, vengeful psychos because they got murdered or something. I donā€™t even know how I died, and life wasnā€™t all that great either, so I donā€™t really have anything to be angry about. I mean I miss my mom, sure, but I know my grandparents would take care of her, and she has some brothers and sisters and really great friends.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Aha, no, no girlfriends. No boyfriends, either. No friends, at least not close ones. No one to really miss me, besides my mom. Iā€™ll admit, it does get a bit lonely from time to time.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Youā€¦ want to help me? Well- thatā€™s really sweet and all, but I donā€™t even know why Iā€™m still hereā€¦ where would we even start?
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: When did I dieā€¦ Iā€™m not totally sure. My sense of time isnā€™t great anymore, maybe twenty years ago or so? Things have changed so much, at least what I can see from the window. Iā€™d say a long time.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Obituariesā€¦ thatā€™s not a bad idea! At least gives you a place to start! Are you-... sure you want to help me with this? I feel like Iā€™m putting you out, I only wanted to talk to you and say hello, but youā€™re going out of your way to do something kind for me.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Well, okay, if youā€™re sure then, thank you! Just one question- how long are you going to leave the creepy music playing? Iā€™m not spooky enough to warrant that. Am I?
[Music stops abruptly]
Ghost: [The ghost laughs] You totally forgot about your mood ambience, huh? Do you like music? I did too. Not too many good ghostly radio stations these days though, hahaā€¦ but anyway! I think youā€™ll be able to see me from now on, I sense some sort ofā€¦ connection with you now through the spirit board. As long as nothing happens to it, I think youā€™ll be able to see and hear me from now on! I donā€™t think your roommate will though, so that probably works out for the best.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Thank you, so muchā€¦ I actually feel kind of hopeful about not being trapped in this tiny apartment for the rest ofā€¦ well, forever. I finally have a chance. That means a lot to me. I thought you might not be afraid of me, given your apparent interest in spirits, but this is even better than I could have hoped for.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Iā€™m glad to see youā€™re so enthusiastic, but donā€™t you think you should be getting to bed? Your schedule on the fridge says you work at 7 tomorrow, and itā€™s past 11.
Listener: ā€¦.
Ghost: Of course! Iā€™m dead, not blind! I can check your schedule just as easily as you can! It was nice knowing when people were going to be here and when they werenā€™t. Iā€¦ actually paid really close attention to it. Alright, no more distractions! Get to sleep, or youā€™ll be totally exhausted for the first day of our investigation tomorrow!

Iā€™ve been ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with a couple of musicals lately that I simply cannot find ANY scripts for! Iā€™m aware that many musicals donā€™t sell their scripts because of theft, but I just want to know the story of these musicals that I love. Theyā€™re not niche enough that itā€™d be impossible to find their scripts anywhere, but theyā€™re niche enough that theyā€™ll never be performed anywhere within a reasonable distance from me. The musicals are The Clockmakerā€™s Daughter by Michael Webborn & Daniel Finn and Ordinary Days by Adam Gwon. Can anyone help me find somewhere to watch the musicals online or purchase/rent the scripts?
