Epilepsy monitoring unit
2024.05.14 04:45 unloadedtrauma Epilepsy monitoring unit
Has anyone stayed at the EMU with their little ones? My babe is 10 months old and I am going to be staying at the epilepsy monitoring unit with him for 2-3 days. I’m nervous. Not sure what to bring, not sure how to even really bottle feed him for 3 days (meaning how am I going to have enough bottles without washing them in that timeframe?). Not sure how I’m going to feed him in a highchair? Do they have those? I do have a portable one but it hooks up to an actual chair. Not sure if that would work or if they’d allow that. I tried calling to verify these things and they said “uhhh let me ask the nurse” and never got back to me. I’m going to call back again tomorrow but just trying to see if anyone out there has any advice.
I also feel weird about being on camera 24/7 and having someone watch my son and I but I know it’s medically necessary.

Romanza: North Florida Saxophone Quartet
Romanza Festivale presents the North Florida Saxophone Quartet as they perform a variety of familiar music in a live concert in the Courtyard of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, on Sunday, May 14, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The four saxophonists have each played with various ensembles worldwide, and North Florida music lovers have been delighted that each has made playing in this quartet a priority. They choose music from several genres — from classical to Disney — to create a lively show that audiences always enjoy. While the members of the North Florida Saxophone Quartet certainly focus on the sax, all of them are proficient with other woodwind instruments, such as the flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon.
- Paula Prince performs on the soprano saxophone and graduated from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
- Charles Almeida performs on the alto saxophone. He served in both the U.S. Army military band and the U.S. Air Force military band. In addition, he has played with several well-known big bands such as Harry James and Tommy Dorsey.
- Robbie Zukauskas plays tenor saxophone and played with the U.S. Army Band and the Florida National Guard Band. Robbie studied music at the University of Central Florida.
- Bill Prince plays the baritone saxophone. He's a professor emeritus at the University of North Florida and arranges most of the music for the ensemble. Bill has also performed around the world with famous bands and as a solo artist.
Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs.
Admission: Free.
When: Sunday, May 14, 2024, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

2024.05.14 04:28 BritneyNotBrittany DAE notice how men who “cosplay” women in movies never do so in a way that presents women in a good light?
From Martin/ Shenehneh From Tyler Perry/ Madea Eddie Murphy/ Resputia & the list carries…
From what IVE seen, women aren’t portrayed as the BEST, it’s often some degrading, stereotypical, bad joke, kind of portraying. Funnily enough, it’s MEN doing this, yet men complain of these same “types”. Just wondering if anyone else peeped this, & if so, what are your thoughts?

2024.05.14 04:27 JLindsey502 Mark Lanegan - Mockingbirds
| Masterpiece of an album. Took me way to long to get into Lanegan’s stuff but after hearing Mad Season I knew I had found another favorite vocalist along with the likes of Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Eddie Vedder, Scott Weiland, Kurt Cobain and the very underrated Ben McMillan of Skin Yard and Gruntruck! But back on topic The Winding Sheet is a masterpiece! I’m going to listen to Whiskey for the Holy Ghost tomorrow, as I am currently listening to every Led Zeppelin album in order and I’m already on Houses of the Holy next! submitted by JLindsey502 to grunge [link] [comments] |

2024.05.14 04:16 g_em_ini Suggestions for an inexpensive laptop for studying & crafting?
LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE - Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:
Around $300-$400 US
- Are you open to refurbs/used?
I prefer a new laptop but am open to refurbished.
- How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?
I would like it to be decent quality and not lag (something kinda fast would be a huge plus), battery life is somewhat important but I don’t necessarily need it to last all day.
- How important is weight and thinness to you?
I would prefer it to be portable and somewhat lightweight, nothing bulky or clunky.
- Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
I prefer something between 13-15 inches, closer to 13 or 14 though.
- Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
I will mostly use it for crafting, Cricut design space and Silhouette are the programs I use the most. I also play the Sims but that’s the only gaming I would do.
- If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?
I really only play the Sims from time to time so I don’t need much of a gaming laptop.
- Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
I’d like something that doesn’t feel cheap and will last at least a few years, so good quality build would be nice. Bells and whistles are nice but not necessary. I’d like something that is fairly fast and doesn’t lag or take forever to load everything.
- Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.
I will mostly be using this laptop for crafting, studying, browsing, and maybe some gaming. I’d like something portable that I can put in my bag so nothing too bulky. I can’t go up too much in my budget but might not necessarily be using this laptop every day so hopefully a few hundred will get me something reliable, portable, and fast. I know my budget is limiting and I have realistic expectations lol. Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions!

2024.05.14 04:06 Midmod2 Character Development
Who was your favorite character to watch change over the season or who was most surprising? I thought Mary’s transformation was hilarious. In my opinion the Evelyn whale thing then move to Eddie was too over the top.

2024.05.14 03:26 ekopwolston Marvel Series Logan Movie Bundle Concept
| With Fortnite making new, different versions of collab characters (such as Sakaaran Champion Hulk and Eddie Brock), I would love to see Logan added to the game! Here I’ve gathered together a concept for what a Logan Bundle could look like: Outfit - “Logan” Edit Styles: - “Old Man Logan”
- “Daddy” (Get your mind out of the gutter, it’s a reference to what Laura calls him while he’s, let’s just say, in this outfit.)
- X-24
Back Bling - “Old Man Professor X” (The idea is a Back Bling-sized version of old Charles Xavier, like what was recently done with the Yoda Back Bling.) Pickaxe - “Bone Claws” (I know Logan doesn’t use the bone claws in the Logan movie, but every Wolverine skin needs some claws and we haven’t gotten the second most iconic version of them yet!) Glider - “Logan’s Limo” (Preferably a surfing Glider.) Emote - “F*ck Off” (I know Fortnite would never add this, but it would be the best Emote in the game lol) submitted by ekopwolston to FortNiteBR [link] [comments] |
2024.05.14 03:20 Wrong-Climate6314 [F4A] Stranger things roleplay
Hi everybody! I’ve been listening to ‘Running up that hill’ a lot lately and now I want a stranger things roleplay! I am looking for you to play a canon character and I will be playing an oc. I will give information about me, My rules, and anything else that comes to mind.
Firstly let me tell you about myself. My names Min-ji. I’m from South Korea, I’m 20 years old and going to college to be a doctor! I am also in a dance class and I teach some dance classes but I am free 95% of the time and should be able to respond rather quickly, if not I will let you know if I’ll be busy. I love the color green and black. I love watching k-dramas, obsessed with Kpop idol and love pandas!
Next are my rules! They aren’t very serious rules just simple things:
- Please write in 3rd person
- Please have discord
- I will be using a oc and id prefer if you played a canon
- Please respond quickly. I know we all have lives but I’m looking for a quick responder.
That’s all!
Now I will give a list of characters that you can choose to play:
•Steve Harrington
•Billy Hargrove
•Jonathan Byers
•Eddie Munson
•Jim hopper
Now I think that is all for now. Of course we will discuss anything else in the chat, such as plots, tropes, and anything like that.
‼️‼️If you message me please give me 2 facts about yourself so I know you read the whole things! ‼️‼️
Bye now, I hope to see you soon💕

2024.05.14 02:49 catbakes Insight Needed for Graduation Gift
| Hi guys! I admit, I am a complete novice to Wacoms and would really appreciate some insight. My boyfriend is graduating from a masters program in Industrial Design and I would like to gift him a tablet to upgrade his current model. When he first started the program we met up with someone from craigslist and bought this model shown in pictures. I can’t find any information on it, but it measures 29 inches from edge to edge. He bought a smaller tablet for around $300 earlier this year, but he returned it because he said the features were nowhere near the one pictured. The one he has is obviously way too bulky to travel with, which is why I was initially considering an iPad Pro for the portability, but that is just my preference. However, when I tried to sneak some information from him, it seems that he prefers the Wacom as he is more familiar with illustrator? and Photoshop than an iPad. While I have two iPads myself, I am completely lost in the world of Wacom. My budget is $1000 or less and I know he would be completely OK with used or refurbished. My only concern is I don’t want to get something that is older or has less features than this model shown. I would really appreciate some advice from users or people in industrial design as to what their preference has been. Even if you guys tell me there’s nothing wrong with his model and he should keep that, maybe even suggestions on a tablet to be a portable addition to this would be appreciated. Thanks a lot for any help! :) submitted by catbakes to wacom [link] [comments] |

2024.05.14 02:35 master_crane It seems pretty easy to find a match in 30th Anniversary
I have owned 30th anniversary for a while, but just decided to try the online for the first time this week on switch.
Contrary to everyone saying it is dead, when I join the ranked match queue I suprisingly get matched within a minute at most. Mind you, it’s not super busy or populated and the connection can be crap, but, I can play SF3 online and portable!

2024.05.14 02:21 Tablefish06 GP10s are dogsh*t
I have tried seemingly everything to get my gp10 to record on external power only without a battery as I’m trying to use it as essentially a dash cam, I’m not running any demanding features like gps, stabilisation, horizon leveling just 1080p on 60fps, I’ve never gotten the overheating message I’m even using GoPro labs to tell the camera to trust the usb power, I’m running the camera off my cars cigarette lighter which is more then enough to run the camera power wise, and not using a dodgy sd card I’m using a Samsung evo plus 128gb card, even using a portable charger it’s still cuts out, it runs fine for 2 minutes and then shuts down.

2024.05.14 02:10 Eillusion The success of the game deserves a larger dev team that can produce larger live service updates.
I’d love 2 new factions, (I know the Lumi’s are coming)
New planetary system with less fog would be wonderful.
Weapon upgrades, attachments, etc. doesn’t have to be game-breaking. +2-5 bullets in mag, +damage, +reload speed, +fire speed, etc // weapon skins (people LOVE customization to continue progression and playing)
More weapons that are useful against new factions.
More cool Strats. Vehicles, call downs (building-like // I’ve seen the gate & fence call-downs with guns attached) portable fortified choke points. More boom. Possible call down of HB that can be shot at. Possible double laser.
L2 and R2 supers. Press them together. These could be buffs, fire power, etc. auto call mates with 100% speed, auto revive yourself, maybe shockwave, super armor, super damage, flame bullets, toxic bullets, ice bullets. All semi realistic to the lore.
Give us more armor skins, variation, etc. more things to hunt for level to level.
There’s SO MUCH opportunity for delicious content to be produced to reflect the actually success of this game.
Just my thoughts.
