The origins of this list came about when the Denver Nuggets won the NBA chip last year. I asked my bball group chat if winning the NBA chip made Jamal the best NBA player named Jamal/Jamaal. I then made this list:

After some research we learned about Jamaal Wilkes and then we made Tinsley an honorable mention.
With the NBA playoffs coming, I thought I tried to do something similar but on a much larger scale and share it with the NBA subreddit community.
I'm not sure if such a list has been done before. If it has, please send me the link to it so I can read it.
Also this is how I came up with the list. The list is not in any specific order per letter. Its more like the first name for each letter is the first name I thought of. Whenever I have trouble finishing up the list, I go to Google and basketball reference. I indicate when I do so.
The list is done by first name and not last. So for example, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will fall under K and not A. The other thing is players will be listed by their actual given name and not nicknames. For example, magic Johnson will be under I for Earvin "magic" Johnson.
Please let me know what you think about the list and let me know what players you feel I missed. Also let me know which letter has the best NBA players.

He cited a summary of 3.4 million real-world (leaked?) 4-digit pins plotted in graphic form with first 2 pin digits on horizontal axis (scaled 0 to 99) and 2nd 2 digits on the vertical axis (also scaled 0 to 99) as shown here: https://www.grc.com/miscfiles/pin.png
The bright colors are more frequent. You can see a bright diagonal line, which means people are prone to making the 3rd and 4th digits a repeat of the first and 2nd (for example 4747). And the brightest points on this line are things like 0000, 2222, 7777, 8888. And also 6969
There is also a bright horizontal line with vertical values 19 or 20 representing years (probably birth years) with the highest concentration being around 1965 to 1990.
But the real kicker, out of those 10,000 possible 4 digit pins, the top 20 most-common pins (0.2%) make up 27% of pins in the set. Those top 20 are: 1234 0000 7777 2000 2222 9999 5555 1122 8888 2001 1111 1212 1004 4444 6969 3333 6666 1313 4321 1010.
There are a variety of pin applications with different requirements. But using something like a birth year isn't a good idea. You could generate a randon numeric pin using the bitwarden password generator and unchecking everything except for digits. You may want it to be memorable though. I have an unhealthy obsession with organizing storage. I've built a big Silo structure at our home base, and everything there is sorted into chests by name, alphabetically. Some things get multiple chests (wood is a good example). In all, its been a huge hit for everyone in the server because everything people need is easy to find, and when they want to drop something off for storage they just put it in the donation chests for me to organize.
I'm caught between my desire to avoid all spoilers, and my desire to not have to re-build my silo more than once. Expanding the structure is quite difficult, so is reorganizing things because of new items.
Is there a way that I can find a list of all new items, but perhaps only the first letter of the item name? After tonight's episode, it seems that again the consensus here is that Kenzie wins. I can 100% see it: she aligns with a lot of the themes in the season, she has a very carefully-crafted edit, very likeable with a lot of positivity, and we hear from her a lot even when we don't need to.
...but I think this subreddit as a whole is ready to christen her, perhaps because we want to see her win over milquetoast nerd narrator, when Charlie in no way should be eliminated right now. I guess I'll go against the grain and make the case for Charlie to keep things interesting:
1) Charlie these past few episodes has hit consistent strategic themes about having options, being adaptable, and ultimately playing to win. Last week, this looked a bit hypocritical as Q stayed and Venus went home. This week, we see Charlie honor these themes by taking out Q, betraying his ally Maria (who admittedly was also betraying him), and "playing to win." We got the big crescendo in the music at the reward after his letters from home. The other players left in the game have not really had the same consistency. Focusing on Kenzie specifically, a lot of her content has centered around wanting Q out. Now, this in of itself isn't a bad thing given that Q is basically the season's big bad, and in the bitter jury/social winner theory that's been circling around, this could explain why a jury would be more willing to vote for Kenzie over Charlie. But, this episode was basically presented as Charlie's move. It wasn't Kenzie and co. convincing Charlie to flip. It was Charlie himself building up social connections (tying back into his themes) and making a move when the time was right. It almost stands in stark contrast to last week's episode, when we see Kenzie and Venus try to flip Charlie and fail, versus this week when it's portrayed more as an individualistic move from him and not the result of Kenzie building a social bond.
2) Charlie's win conditions. Last week, he said he needs to get out Q/Maria. This week, he got out Q. I think most of us here agree that Maria won't be in the F3. If he gets out Maria (probably at 5), he satisfies the win condition he set out for himself. In a more meta sense, he also finally got a flashback package.
3) Charlie is a threat in-game. We got (subtitled) conversations this week about Charlie being super likable and beating everyone in the end. While this isn't the end-all-be-all, it's worth noting.
4) Kenzie as a runner-up. This subreddit has gotten on-board with a Kaoh Rong dynamic for this season, with Michele/Kenzie beating Aubry/Charlie. But I want to propose another theory: maybe Kenzie is built up to be a compelling and rootable runner-up because Charlie really did just play that strong of a strategic game. I mean objectively speaking, the man has completely steamrolled. The edit has downplayed the alliance of himself/Maria/Ben throughout the middle of the merge, instead choosing to focus on more entertaining characters, but we knew that they were in control. Charlie also got his moment this episode to one-up Maria, which plays into what the edit has suggested with Charlie always getting his way and being the center of that duo. But having Charlie march to the end and win wouldn't make for a compelling FTC in what would be the most obvious win of the New Era thus far. Kenzie is the last of her tribe standing; she's been called a threat by others who ultimately took her out. She's slipped through as Q foretold in his hide-and-seek prophecies. She's even tied into a lot of the major themes of the season. But none of these things are exclusive to winners. I think a key example here is Carolyn, who was edited as a super rootable character that was portrayed in the edit to be a lot closer to winning and a much bigger threat than she actually was. There are other things too, such as the unfortunate reality of female winners not usually having such big edits, and Kenzie (I believe) would be the first New Era winner, male or female, to actually lead in overall confessional time for the cast. She'd be an incredibly unique winner for the series in that regard.
All-in-all, I think this subreddit has jumped a lot onto the notion of Kenzie winning when I don't think it's the slam dunk yet that a lot of this subreddit thinks. After voting out Q this week, there isn't anything that is glaringly wrong with his edit. Sure, he's a bit boring and doesn't have a ton of personal content outside of, say, Taylor Swift, but maybe there just isn't much there? The New Era has also done a lot of editorial legwork to try and mask obvious winners in the past. 41 basically made up fiction about Erika to make her seem more in-danger than she was when in reality her alliance of herself/Deshawn/Heather ran the game. 44 propped up Carolyn to be a legitimate threat to Yam Yam when that wasn't the case. 45 chose to spend most of the merge focusing on the downfall of Belo and Emily's underdog arc and then only really circled back around to the Reba dynamics at the end. I can see the editors of 46 choosing to focus on the more wacky and compelling rest of the cast over a dull dominance of a Charlie + playing up Kenzie as a legitimate threat to win so the finale isn't a slog when Maria probably goes out 5th.
I'm personally probably split about 50/50 between Kenzie and Charlie. I do see the argument for a Kenzie social victory. But I also think that the Finale and FTC is going to have to do a lot of legwork on why Charlie loses given the edit has basically done nothing but show him playing a stellar strategic game; given the current meta of the show and how fans have reacted to "wtf?" winners as of late, I'd expect the editors to be a bit more explicit on why Charlie would lose to someone who admittedly didn't do as much strategically. But we will see.

I have worked as a stone assistant (NOT AN APPRENTICE) for 3 years in a kitchen company. I would cut, polish, install and got trained to use cnc machinery and waterjet by them. For actually building, the stonemason would do it and I would assist. But I would never "create" by myself. My boss always said I could be a good stonemason but back then i didn't know if I would love it.
The boss (and the industry) is in dire needs of workers and he contacted me 4 months after my departure asking to sponsor me. Since I do eventually want to become a stonemason specializing in benchtops, i thought it would be a great idea. Most workers there were not stonemasons as well so I guess you didn't need to be one to do the job i was doing.
When i looked at the visa, we both thought i could apply under occupational training to improve skills since:
My job was related to one in the eligible skilled list
Had a year of experience in the last 2 years.
But then we looked at the step by step guide and saw that I might need to provide relevant registrations (which I don't have, since it didn't require any). I called home affairs and they said that they "might" not necessarely "need" depending on the job i planned on doing.
He then said i could apply for occupation training required for registration. The thing is when I called the TRA to get a letter saying the job was required to get certification (which is true, TAFE for example offers stonemason courses including benchtop handling etc...), they said they only do that for the 405 and 408 visa. Furthemore, they had no idea about the 407 training visa and said to call home affairs to get the body of authority. I tried to explain them that it's like basically an internship but even then they couldn't write a letter. When I looped back to home affairs I spoke to this lady who was so CONFUSED she muttered some words and quickly said sorry I can't help you and directed me to a regisered migration office.
Where I live stonemasonry is a cute name for bricklaying and the courses do not include kitchen benchtops, bathroom, sinks etc.... It's chimney, gravestone, BRICKS.
So I'd like to ask which one should i go for? I feel now occupation to improve skills would be good but I don't want to have any surprises if they ask me for papers (which i don't have yet). It does say RELATED to the elligible occupation, which is a grey area for me since it doesn't need registration. On the other hand, the other one could be good for my professional developments but no bodies exist in australia to give me that letter.

Flows into these names at the peak of the early 2021 frenzy were over four times Monday's volume. "Do we think more retail traders can jump in on the trend in the coming days? Yes. Do we think this is a repeat of 2021? No, and the chances we reach that stage are low," said Vanda. Without glancing at a single stock chart, it's easy to point out that 2021 was likely a historical aberration fueled by bored recipients of pandemic stimulus checks. Wall Street was caught flat-footed. Hedge funds like Melvin Capital were obliterated. But institutional investors learned from the 2021 episode and are better prepared now, argues Vanda. "Quant/hedge funds are much better equipped to handle these situations nowadays," Vanda senior vice president Marco Iachini noted. "If anything, we believe the chances that they participate along with retail in the squeeze but also lean against and then exit these trades ahead of retail traders are high."
As of Monday's close, the portion of share turnover in GameStop attributable to retail investors averaged 7% over the prior five days — and that number was only slightly higher for AMC. In 2021, the averages and spikes were materially higher, indicating much greater participation by retail traders. Data in the options market confirms a similar story. Biden hits China with tariffs: The White House announced a suite of new tariffs on Chinese goods on Tuesday, with a key focus on EVs. I'm a film student from Germany doing his bachelor project at the moment. For my project I am making a short film and music video based off of "Madeleine" (Personally, my favourite Good Kid song) but I'm in need of support for the project.
I don't love doing advertising like this, nor begging, but I feel this is a really cool project that I want to make for the band I enjoy listening to and if I want to do it well, I will need support. This is also a great opportunity for the community to come together in order to get this done.

I didn’t mind it, stayed and listened to what they had to say and eventually he said they wanted me to pay them( pay for a full-service POL which consists of two payment one for a IBA(independent business application)99$ and one for a $25/month subscription to online service) to recruit me. The representative had some compelling points and example of people making lots of money. So me as a naive young adult (and not wanting to embarrass my cousin) went in blindly and payed them to attend there class. Now I’m having second thoughts as I look more into the company. I need help and don’t know what my next step should be. so lend me your wisdom Reddit.

I know a little about reddit, and I'm not native English speaker, so my posts may not be grammatically correct, but I will try my best:) and while posting it here, I would love to hear community (if it would be any:)) feedback commenting development process.
Over time, I've tried several ideas and prototypes about what the game could be and finally came to the following:
It would be good to keep the same principle, but create new mechanics around it, to change the goal of the game - instead of comparing and confronting players, it would be better to give players thought the game can be played together, and while playing - research some new words and languages.
So, based on this, the final idea can be described in following principle:
The word entering mechanics are key to use everything in the game, and all players - are the passengers of hot air balloon which travels through some landscapes.
Currently I already implemented the new logic, which allows players to.control hot air balloon through the words, actions (moving crystals) and technologies.
I'm not great in UI design, so currently not focusing on it and making opposite - mechanics, and testing it how it works.

The initial idea of the game was created by me and my wife during long trips on transport, which required fast, simple and fun game which can work offline on one device and it was based on simple rule - which famously known as "Snowball" (or similar) - I say "Adventure" the the next person should say word which will contain three last letters from the word, i.e. "ure", so he may say "capture", the next person, can say "bureau" and so on.Over time, I've tried several ideas and prototypes about what the game could be and finally came to the following:

ADVICE/QUESTIONS/CRITISM WANTED AND ENCOURAGED
I apologize for the bad writing and spelling errors in advance. I'm trying to write this quickly. Even if I have come to terms with it, I don't want to think about it for too long.
I, 22F, was not the best person in high school. In my sophomore and freshman year, I had a more refined 'sub-group' of friends. They were never my first choice, but I was their first choice. I didn't feel bad, however I now do. I would constantly choose my 'better' group of friends over them. However, I was still well-liked in the group. Spending time with them was fun, and I was relatively nice. Except to this one girl, who I will call 'Emma'.
Emma wasn't exactly conventionally attractive. She had decent features, but it didn't come together well at all. Her hair looked bad, and her style wasn't the prettiest. So, she was subject to getting made fun of. We all made fun of each other in the group, but even I could admit we were a bit ruthless when it came to Emma. Here is a list of some of the things we did:
Dump out her backpack when she did homework
Make fun of her love life
Poke her in the stomach
Take really bad pictures of her and post them online
Pretend the ground was shaking when she would walk by
Laugh at her when she ate
Push her when she was walking next to one of us (so another one of us could sit there)
Take her things (snacks, pens, homework assignments)
I know, it is bad. We did other things, but not things I am particularly proud of or want to share. Now, she would generally laugh along. However, towards late freshman and early sophmore year, she didn't laugh as much at our jokes. She would chuckle, but not like she laughed earlier. One friend in the group noticed she stopped bringing food to school, which could also be because of us. However, this didn't make us stop. If anything, it made it worse. Once, I had made the decision to host a hang-out at the skating rink. However, I decided not to invite Emma. I don't really even have a reason. But, sometime before the event, she found out. She said she didn't care, and that she didn't have any roller skates anyways. Looking back, she most likely did care.
In the last semester of sophomore year, Emma stopped doing almost anything. She wouldn't eat, barely drank, stopped doing schoolwork, stopped talking, and eventually stopped going to class. When we asked her about it, she just told us she was tired with the newfound stress the year gave her. We bought it. I remember exactly what I did after. It feels like I will never forget it, because it set off a spiral. About ten minutes after our conversation, the topic turned to Emma again. She had her head down, but started listening a few minutes after we started talking about her. I got up (we were sitting in the library, so we were all on the ground) and walked over to her. She smiled and started to say something, and before she could finish her sentence I bent down, lifted up her shirt slightly, and jiggled her stomach in front of everyone. We weren't the only ones in the room, mind you. Somewhere near ten or twenty people laughed. I dropped her shirt and pinched her cheeks. I told her something about eating a salad, and she shot me one of the most dejected glances I have ever seen. She muttered something about actually really liking salads, and I made yet another joke about how that couldn't possibly be true. I then told her, word for word, 'Next time you think about eating another chocolate bar, maybe try chewing some gum.' I remember being a bit upset that not as many people laughed, only a few people in our friend group. Emma nodded and went back to whatever she was doing.
Everything I described earlier, the not eating, drinking, etc., got much worse after that. She would go days without saying a word unless prompted, and yet we continued to make fun of her. At the end of the year, Emma handed me a folded up sheet of paper. I made another stupid joke, once again (What, is this your McDonalds order? Or a confession letter?) She dodged the joke and told me to read it whenever I could, as long as it was after school, and to spread the message. I laughed and called it cliche, and then continued on with my day. But the letter was painful to read, and I didn't even accept it or really comprehend it until later on. This is a slightly paraphrased version, as it is in my room at my parents' house:
"Hey, Mia (me). I just want to talk to you about what happened this year. I don't blame you that much, but I don't want what you did to be repeated. Ever since last year you've been incredibly rude. I get that it was jokes, but I felt completely targetted. I was the only one in the group to be made fun of my physical appearance. I get it, I didn't look the best, so it kind of makes sense. But did it have to be a daily (if not hourly) thing? Sometime last year, it really got to me. I tried to ignore it, to joke along. But it really hit me hard. I'm made fun of a bit at home already, and I really liked school up until these years. It felt like a safe space, and it was ruined a bit by your constant bullying. I tried everything. I dieted, I worked out, I did it all. Eventually (and by your suggestion) I just slowly stopped eating. You probably noticed since you took my food all the time. I've been working on my self-confidence recently, and I noticed something. I'm average. I have average weight, average looks, an average life. Why should I be made fun of for that? I apologize for the bad writing and spelling errors in advance. I'm trying to write this quickly. Even if I have come to terms with it, I don't want to think about it for too long.
I, 22F, was not the best person in high school. In my sophomore and freshman year, I had a more refined 'sub-group' of friends. They were never my first choice, but I was their first choice. I didn't feel bad, however I now do. I would constantly choose my 'better' group of friends over them. However, I was still well-liked in the group. Spending time with them was fun, and I was relatively nice. Except to this one girl, who I will call 'Emma'.
Emma wasn't exactly conventionally attractive. She had decent features, but it didn't come together well at all. Her hair looked bad, and her style wasn't the prettiest. So, she was subject to getting made fun of. We all made fun of each other in the group, but even I could admit we were a bit ruthless when it came to Emma. Here is a list of some of the things we did:
Dump out her backpack when she did homework
Make fun of her love life
Poke her in the stomach
Take really bad pictures of her and post them online
Pretend the ground was shaking when she would walk by
Laugh at her when she ate
Push her when she was walking next to one of us (so another one of us could sit there)
Take her things (snacks, pens, homework assignments)
I know, it is bad. We did other things, but not things I am particularly proud of or want to share. Now, she would generally laugh along. However, towards late freshman and early sophmore year, she didn't laugh as much at our jokes. She would chuckle, but not like she laughed earlier. One friend in the group noticed she stopped bringing food to school, which could also be because of us. However, this didn't make us stop. If anything, it made it worse. Once, I had made the decision to host a hang-out at the skating rink. However, I decided not to invite Emma. I don't really even have a reason. But, sometime before the event, she found out. 2024.05.16 02:04 SleeplessxMachinist OD Engraving Issue on New DN Solutions (Doosan) Puma 2600 Y II with Fanuc Control
I'm am making parts on my new lathe (DN Puma 2600 Y II with a Fanuc control) that I used to run on one of my other machines (Haas ST-30Y). For the sake of conversation, I will describe the part as an aluminum tube with engraving on the OD. When the feed rate is higher than 28 IPM on my new machine, it adds or misses some of the contours of the text. For example, a capital letter "A" has one diagonal leg that is longer than the other and longer than it should be. Also, some of the bottom legs of the number "2" are not fully completed. I have fully verified that the toolpath is correct in CAM (Fusion 360), I have also played with every toolpath settings and combinations in Fusion I could imagine. The toolpath is a 2D contour that I wrapped around the OD of the part using a text font that is made of straight lines as opposed to block style letters. I have been running Fusion since 2018 and I have been making these parts since 2021. What I find to be very strange is that rather than poor kinematics where you would see the machine make shuttered or faceted motions, it is adding or missing features of the simplest style of text you could think of. Again, no issues until I surpass 28IPM. This engraving opp is taking about a minute longer on the DN than it would take on the Haas, and considering I am making thousands of these parts a year, any added cycle time is no good. I am new to DN and Fanuc, but I imagine (and hope) that the issue is some sort of simple setting or parameter. My fingers are crossed that it is some stupid mistake I am making or something obvious that I am missing. I am more than aware that I have years of learning ahead of me before I am remotely proficient on the new control, but I am confident that the learning curve will be worth it in the end. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So my (32f) boyfriend (39m) and I have been together for 14 years. He help me get accepted to college, and I always tough that we were walking "parallel lines" and some parts of the road were the same, like becoming a couple, living together and such.
We do NOT live together, we're in such a position that I can afford leaving my place and he lives in a very expensive zone he doesn't want to leave. He started talking things like red pills talk, but just the "reasonable things", don't know how else to explain. But he started acting like I'm just a lowsy hobo and I need to catch up with him. Edit. Some times he makes bad comments about my physical appearance making it sound like that's what other ppl think. For example "your neighbor must think 'that fat with the crazy hair is very annoying'", for context I was having a dump argument with a neighbor. But I'm getting that kind of comments from him 3-4 times at weeks. He always talks to me in a very condescending way. Honestly, I've been rummaging through my memories and there's so many red flags i just overlook. Mostly from 3-5 years to today.
Such as:
Trying to breaking yo because I had depression and was saying about how hard everything was. I had to lie about me being somewhere because according to him he actually saw me. He decided I should stop talking to my friends, specially the one whom socioeconomic status is under mine or such (but that's my choice, he just advising) Inviting me to places but then expected me to pay in the spot. It's just... 14 years is too much and I just at lose.

Texts received by MyrtleBeachSC News show that Power of Attorney documents were supposedly signed by Mica Miller on December 4th at the Solid Rock church. However, those documents were not notarized by Winslow Law employees (Briyana and Tiffany) until the next day at Winslow’s law office.
According to the S.C. Secretary of State, a notary must be present at the actual signing of such documents to prevent fraud.
Two months later, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Mica was “involuntarily hospitalized” on Feb. 8, 2024. But what makes the case even more odd is that JP’s power of attorney documents were not filed until March 20, 2024, despite having been signed and notarized three months prior.

According to DailyMail: “Miller’s first wife, Alison, filed for divorce in 2015 after discovering he was having an affair with Mica, who was 14 years his junior.” Alison also claimed that “Miller had an addiction to prostitutes and had ‘sexual encounters’ with underage girls.” She continued, “He had also confessed to me and other staff members of the church that he had sexual encounters with young females from the church, who were under the age of 16.”
The lawyer representing JP Miller in his first divorce case was S.C. State Representative Val Guest.
Mica's Statements About Suicide
Mica’s sister, Sierra Francis, said, “Mica stated to me on many occasions, ‘If I end up with a bullet in my head’, it was JP,” referring to her husband, John Paul Miller. In a written affidavit, Seirra writes, “I know my sister to have expressed the abuse and violence against her by her husband to others, including family members and members of the church congregation. My sister also expressed to me that she was fearful that she would not make it to the divorce and that her life would be taken from her.”

Also, as we reported yesterday, Attorney Tom Winslow owns 200 acres of land that backs up to the state park area where Mica’s body was found.
All of this is circumstantial, at best, but it is also very curious.
*The Call Made By Mica At Lumber River State Park?
Mica wrote to her attorney: “Since the day we became husband and wife, I have been abused in every way I can think of. Emotionally, sexually, spiritually, financially and physically. He has harassed me physically and electronically with letters, phone calls, emails and texts, hacking my emails, hacking my personal Facebook and impersonating me. Using my stolen phone to send texts and emails out to church members pretending to be me, texting friends and family saying that I am sleeping with teenagers from our church, and showing up in person at places around town … to having installed three different tracking devices on my vehicle.”
MyrtleBeachSC News learned that JP was in possession of a mobile phone he had stolen from Mica. Anyone who has left an outgoing, “I am not available now” message on their phone, knows that a recorded version of her voice was likely on that mobile phone.
According to the Robeson County Sherriff, at 2:54 p.m., a 911 call was made from Lumber River State Park parking lot.
Miller is calm throughout the call, asking a dispatcher if her phone can be tracked. The operator asks for Miller’s phone number and location, and then why she was calling.
“I’m about to kill myself, and I just want my family to know where to find me,” she replies.

TL:DR debating writing a letter to ex/current situationship (18 years) complicated past, Ive changed alot got sober did work on myself, they are now in a space dealing with some addiction and going to therapy.
I know letter writing comes up a lot and i want to share details but make it unidentifiable if possible. If you have more specific questions let me know. Met guy ( we will call him A) when i was 19/20 he (21/22) terrfied me he was sweet attentive romantic kind not like any of the men in my life. I freaked out b/c i didnt know what to do with that I didnt know how to date. Up until that point men always wanted me for tna secret fun etc. He showed up at my work with a rose and a teddy bear, tried to take me on dates, but it was easier for me kus to get naked to be honest. I did feel really safe with him and the connection was undeniable the second the other person showed up in a room we were in our own world and usually would just leave. After the flowers and the failed on my part attempt at a date i basically ran. His brother (older)swooped in and tried to date me. New years came his brother didint invite me out, i was at a different party A msged me we ended up spening the next 24 hours together but i knew he didnt trust me. I got him a birthday gift and dropped it at his house but im not even sure he got it i was too afraid to ask. I ended up waiting a few months then dated his brother for a little under a year, his brother was everythibg inwas used to in a man unattentive, didnt consider me in anything etc. We broke up and me and A started seeing each other almost every weekend again. This situationship kept up for a good 10-12 years. There were times we would both be drunk and emotional and apologies were always being given i love yous were said but the wall was still up and inwas still afraid. I finally got sober and we still kept hooking up he got his dream job i got mine. Time spent together shifted because we were in our 30s and had careers, but he always saw me on big events or after he had been with his family. He has some trauma from a parent leaving when he was a young adult, and then i basically went and did the same thing. In my own personal healing journey and schooling and the wisdom that comes with age im aware of the shit i did and the accountability i need to take. His career is intense and my background is helping people in similar professions so i noticed when his behaviour shifted, and didnt say anythibg for awhile but recently did and he admitted to it and said he was getting some help. One common thing i hear alot in my job is how people always wonder what the other person thought, or would blame themselves for and see themselves as falling short without realizing the impact young relationships can have. Inwas never vulnerable when we were together, and I want him to know the stuff i never said or told, having been in the addiction phase myself i do want to share that with him. I dont expect a response from him, if i got one thats great but i can live without it. Im not expecting it to magically fix him because i am just one piece of the puzzle. I just think he deserves to know the version of my story because in it hes always been the one true constant safe thing.
How would you react to getting that? Would you welcome it wpuld you hate it? Its 18 years of stuff its gonna be more a short story or a novel than a letter. Thoughts.?

In the very first pronouciation chapter of book 1 it says that o is pronounced as oh as in boat. But afaik the o in boat is pronounced like saying the letter o in English (like goat, flow, zero) . It underlines the oa in boat which is even more confusing because that is nothing like o in Japanese? If oa in boat was pronounced like Japanese o it would sound something like bot.
The most accurate comparison I've seen is like the o in more.

1-Attention to detail -Minominimal typos for example, if you misspell one letter from word, or write the wrong word believing it to be the correct word. 2- How you decide to write and format a report or an email. Senior makes changes which are rephrasing that appear to be personal preference. Also, restructuring by moving your work around and changing words or sentences, but the aim/objective of the statement is the same.
Due to point 2 I am informed this reflects badly on me not providing a report senior is happy with.
Previously this was accepted as everyone writes differently.
I believe that the 2nd point would be difficult as it’s subjective and you cannot train someone to write the exactly the same. The content of what is written is there, it’s just personal preference. How could targets be set and sufficient training be provided to support an employee improve.
I have evidence saved of the senior making numerous typos and significant mistakes which have caused impacts/delays. I also saved examples of personal preference changes that add no value.
I feel this level of critical scrutinising and micro management is an attempt to bully me out of the organisation. what further evidence do I need to raise a grievance? Would HR consider my evidence? What would be the outcome?

I've been thinking about the way we use our ships in the verse, and with the recent update bringing Master Modes (MM), I'd like to better understand why things are the way they are today. I apologize in advance about the length of this message ("I could have made it shorter, but I didn't have the time"), and just to be clear: this is not a rant about MM, this is only my ideas for the future of SC. This really is an invitation to discuss, please put your guns down ;)
The way things are today, there's really 3 methods to move our ships around. There's the (1) standard way, which is called SCM (Space Combat Maneuvering) that is limited to 200 or 300 m/s depending on your ship or environment. There's also (2) Navigation mode (NAV), which goes up to over 1000 m/s, again depending on your ship and environment. Finally there's Quantum mode (QT) which allows you to travel extremely fast to a quantum marker.
Each mode comes with its own caveat, which end up being extremely important while playing:
An interesting point to note is that switching to NAV from SCM is not possible, as you switch to QT first. NAV is only the second option, so if you're looking to escape, QT mode is really what you're going to use, since it first allows you to speed up while spooling your quantum drive, then once spooled, you're free to run to another quantum marker. Going to NAV would only make sense if you're looking for some time to recharge your shields away from your attacker, but it doesn't feel as possible as it use to be since NAV disables your shields.
Sorry for this long preamble, but I think it's necessary to understand what I'm thinking about. As it is today, I think that NAV mode only exists because we do not have custom quantum markers, and that quantum markers should always bring you under 20k of your destination. - NAV mode is technically less plausible (I know I know, it's a game, none of it is). You're not using your quantum drive, but you're still going 3 to 4 times faster than usual by using your ship's engine, while spooling.
- I find that I'm using NAV speeds only because the game isn't right yet. It's like a band-aid to hide the fact that some features are missing, namely the custom QT markers.
- I don't understand the logic behind exiting quantum travel 30k or even 20k away from your destination. I feel like this is okay because we can go to high speeds, but as I mention, I don't understand high speeds, so this bothers me.
- I think it would be easier to balance ships if there's less variables to deal with. Right now, they have to balance SCM and NAV speed and acceleration for each ship. Removing high speed from NAV would simplify things by half.
- In most science fiction, ships either go their normal speed, or light speed. I don't think they ever have a 3rd mode.
- I think it would be simpler to use. It's a simpler concept that should be easier to grasp for new players.
