Amphetamine sulphate

I see some people posted their medicine packages and it doesn't say dexmethamphetamine? But I was told it is dextmethamphetamine? Like for example when you get zenzedi it says dexamphetamine sulphate but Evekeo is just amphetamine sulfate.

Yesterday, I took 1.5mg of Rasagiline spaced in three doses (Irreversible MAO-B inhibitor, so for the next two weeks my MAO-B is completely blocked).
I actually have three questions regarding Rasagiline:
Q1a) Rasagiline (Keep in mind unlike selegiline does not metabolize into amphetamine-like compounds), does it potentiate amphetamines like Adderall or racemic Amphetamine Sulphate or does it dull the effects? I can't tell if my tolerance to them is naturally going up, or the MAO-B inhibition somehow dulls them?
(I've researched a bit about this and it seems that amphs are fairly safe to combine with B Inhibitors, but there is hardly any info on potentiation/inhibition of said stimulants)
Q1b) Since Rasagiline only inhibits the MAO-B could it have any effects on serotonin releasers like MDMA? I know MAO-A Inhibitors and serotonin releasers or SSRI/SNRIs are a deadly combo, but a MAO Inhibitor like Rasagiliine shouldn't mess with serotonin and norepinephrine as much, and is strictly related to PEA/DOPA metabolism, right?
Q2) While Rasagiline is selective to MAO-B, it could start losing selectivity at higher does and start inhibiting MAO-A as well in which case I'm fucked no matter what i take (depending on the dose, at least a mild serotonin syndrome or an hypertensive crisis) The question is, is 1.5mg Rasagiline (which i think is a medium dose) enough to start messing with MAO-A?

Hi everyone.
At the beggining of this year I was diagnosed with a adult ADHD via ADHD360. During my first appointment, I was told that there is a national shortage of certain ADHD medications, and was initially prescribed 20mg (10mg/2x day) of Amfexa, which has since been upped to 60mg (20mg/3x day).
Previously to address my ADHD through education, I had orally used Speed (amphetamine sulphate). I find them both similar, but Amfexa (dexamfetamine sulfate) appears to be much more effective in aiding my focus.
Some negative similarities I have noticed is with the slight "speedy" feeling that it can give. By this I mean I am quite energised, have some jaw tension (teeth grinding) and a reduced appetite. Although not pleasant, these are manageable and are a better offer than the symptoms of ADHD. It is clear thay they work and I am so far pleased with the results.
I understand the shortages relate to Elvanse, which is the longer release form of Amfexa. I'd be keen to try it for the convinience of a single dose, but have any of you had any experience with alternate stimulant-based medications (like Elvanse), and did you find to negate these "speedy" side effects?
I will of course discuss this with my clinician on my recent upcoming check in on Thursday, but I'm keen to gain some patient perspective.

We were talking about MH and our SH and I decided I would let him hear about mine cause he is my friend and he had been sharing his struggles too and I thought it would be relatable to him. IT WAS NOT RELATABLE FOR HIM. He was like “I’m so sorry. I didn’t realise it was so bad. I don’t know what to say. I wait with decision to try amphetamines and still found new excusses to still suffer AF from comedowns and develop bzd addiction with abuse drinking and taking unnecessary a lot amounts of antidepressants to make Mph more effective and less fiendish - it never happened. When things start getting worse and boofing or Injection with (bake soda) sublingually roa's became my daily routine and high doses of GBL/BDO/ethanol with bzd also no longer are ociasionally aids but my daily lifestyle when I was on TCA's high doses and MAOi + NRI without results I know it's time to stop it bc I am literally life like I could be addict to coke and probably get same results, I need to change my life and get my shit together so I must try amphs medicament or I die sonner then I think it happened, my life was hell with re-dosing every 2-3hrs also MPH and GBL/sometimes vodka, my ambitions, hobbys, I am lost intrested in things that I liked before, no sport, no sleep, fear of being off drugs, thinking how to manage my day and be more effective and never feel satisfied with myself, compulsive fapping and no nutritementation 24/7 that how looking my life when i Was 20.
I seriously believe I am do nothing bad cause if I should get other drug on doctor perscription I would get it so I am on best what can modern medicine offer to me, if amphetamines was so good why we don't get anyone substance in our healthcare avaliable? We had a lot of addictive substances for rare diseases like barbiturates so If drugs of last resort are exist and avaliable in our country why we don't have amphs? Probably they are unnecessary bc Methylphenidate are modern, better and less addictive also have less side effects -that what I hear from my doctors... I was so fucking stupid and regret with my knowledge I am avoid the long as it possible to order 2-FMA, illegal stuff, just sth else and my stupid dumbass brain 3 years need to discover a fact maybe I am shouldn't take MPH and that is reason of my problems? I was shocked how long it works, it was different from a Ritalin, not euphoric, not gave me shot of energy if I do nothing, but it work I read experiences and stories of people who taking ritalin long time and being addicted to them and doctor give instead dexedrine/adderall/desoxyn or their like me do it on themselves decision to self-medication cause nothing more options left (except addiction or not get well)

Hopefully I decided to try amphs before I totally loose myself in depressants. And GBL later BDO use almost a year daily - the withdrawal was worst experience in my life, it's nightmare i never thought I can break free but somehow I survive.
Nowdays I try to focus on my life and no blame others for my unhapiness even if I am know many things might see different if somehow happend or not - I am don't have influence on the past but still can change my future
I get diagnosed my ADHD when I was 6 First time i try Ritalin when I was 16 (don't ask me why ask psychiatrist and doctors being to lazy to check a my medical story before push me in to antidepressants in high doses, until finally new psychiatrist read ALL my papers and said he's shocked I never get before Ritalin if I had so long time ago diagnosed ADHD, and probably I am overmedicated by antidepressants and xanax in so Young age. First time I try xanax (from perscription) and alcohol when I was 14/15. I am start gettin' meds when i was 7. Abusing AMbien and bzd's I am started when I was 18 and lead myself to long friendship with phenobarbital later I am switch to GBL i most prefered.

GBL and Ritalin was my fuckin' "game changer" my stupid mind thought until I am found out I am in deep shit

2022 was one big withdrawn and get back to myself after GBL w/Ritalin (still on some kind of antidepressants and a lot of caffeine)
2023 - I was so confused what do with myself to get better, I read a lot of stories like I said and many people get a lot of better when start use a amphetamines after terrible experiences with Ritalin/other phenidates. In April I with strong support from my family decided to order RC fluoroamphs my first was 2-FMA - and it's a perfect show I am still use that with 3-FA and 3-fma (Use not all together daily, but I am use one of them daily, so almost every day I use 3FA or 3-FMA or 2-FMA)

If You don't know what is it please believe me it most similiar substance to dexedrine there's no more similiar drugs even elvanse is not so close to this, btw 3-FA is literally Adderall and 3-FMA is closest drug to Desoxyn (I can't say certainly but some ppl says 3-FMA is more close to Desoxyn than Meth (racemat) I can't confirm how true is it but it's doesn't matter ) I just know when I post it not everyone will know what these substances are and can get wrong impression thinking it sth much different than just dextroamphetamine or amphetamine sulphate It's almost same things - both can be abuse or use if You had adhd to treatment it if You keep doin' it with common sense I can answer if You have any questions

I am nowdays still on lyrica and use ambien/estazolam to sleep - all them I use to avoid seizuress and sleep, I slowly try to get off them too but I must do it slowly, I am don't get high or pleasant effect in doses 600mg daily lyrica and 2,5mg ambien (or one pill other benzodiazepine - never more than it is necessary) Things I use to keep depression and amphs tolerance far away from myself -Dextrametorphane (one or twice per week) -Turmeric (curcuma longa) with black pepper (one or twice per week) - Tianeptine (once-twice in a month) I soon try another dissociative drug to use in medical properties and think about kratom I try avoid to drinking alcohol and it's hard to keep soberity but in last months I keep it successful, I probably back some day to this but do not wanna keep using after I am fall GBL and BDO also Phenibut - these three things I am stay away as I could from them bc I know if I try again it no chance I am stop at one dose
Caffeine - i throw, maybe some days it could help me with sleepiness or focus but I prefer until I don't find a job and do nothing special to also stay away from additional energy bc it soon lost their effects and turn into taking everyday pills to not being zombie, if I could not to take it for now i stick to it
Cigarettes- I used to smoke 7-8 or more per day, this summer I throw but back in September, still smoking 2-4 cigs per day, and wanna to stop

Afaik amphetamine sulphate is not able to be vaped, and I have not heard of amphetamine being vaped. Inspired by a comment I believe was on this subreddit, I figured I I would ask if there is any vapeable amphetamine salts.
Am I just wrong, or is amphetamine not able to be vaped?

Take 10-15mg Dexedrine for work about 3-4 times a week. Ive seen thousands of posts on reddit saying what to take, and when, in order to avoid a nasty comedown and re-balance the brain with nutriens / vits that taking this Rx depletes in order to aid in overall brain health and recovery - per below, let me know if im missing something

I take a full comprehensive stack otherwise 3-4x a week but have mentioned the above as ive heard they are ideal to take specifically to mitigate harm caused by amphetamines. I also have Mexidol (emoxypine) on hand which ive tried but dont really feel anything aside from maybe having a more regenerative sleep that night and morning energy the next day. My life is very hectic so its hard to me to experiment with noots and do the trial and error way of seeing how things are working given how inconsistent my day to day is. I also dont take NAC daily as ive read reports of anhedonia and i swear sometimes it makes me feel weird. Any advice here is always appreciated. Thanks everyone

I am on 60mg atomoxetine. Will go up to 100mg. TBH it does not really help me with boring tasks. I was told it is better to keep the atomoxetine dose low(60mg) and add a low dose quick release stimulant (MHP) to the mix whenever it is needed(not every day). Unforfunately, MHP is not available for adults. I can only get dexmaphetamine. AFAIK it lasts much longer. I do use amphetamine sulphat recreationally. TBH I cannot sleep without benzos. Can you sleep after taking 30mg of dexamphetamine or other similarly long lasting stimulants?

Hello, I’m a 19 y/o student & I have had terrible insomnia for years (I’m also diagnosed with GAD, OCD, PTSD, depression, ADD). I also have pretty bad tinnitus in both ears. I currently am prescribed:
-6mg dextro-amphetamine sulphate in the morning & after lunch (for my AD(H)D)
-10mg escitalopram (SSRI) in the morning
-200mg Lyrica (pregabalin) for sleep & anxiety (but I usually take more because it doesn’t help me anymore, & I know it’s dumb)
A list of all meds I’ve been prescribed in the past for sleep:
-Trazodone (+levocetirizine): did help me for 1 week & did nothing for the other 6 months
-Melatonin (+ levocetirizine & lasaexan): didn’t help me at all, just made me drowsy during the day
-quetiapine: helped me sleep for the first night, after that it didn’t work & they made me up my dose almosr daily and it just didn’t do anything anymore besides giving me extremely annoying heart palpillations.
-olanzapine + abilify (aripiprazole): olanzapine didn’t help me at all & this combination made me feel so demotivated to to anything during the day.
-promethazine: did nothing.
-dominal forte: did nothing, made me more awake for some reason.
-lorazepam: only one that actually helped but since it’s a benzo I only took it for 2 weeks [3x 1mg daily], & tapered for 4 weeks.
-Pregabalin (Lyrica): I’m currently taking this but it doesn’t help me anymore now.
-& more but I can’t think atm lol
I also used fo self-medicate with weed a lot & also bromazolam but didn’t want to get addicted so I quit both.
I stayed in 3 different psychiatric hospitals for about 2 months (& that’s where I tried almost half of these meds).
Escitalopram seems to help me a bit with my depression & anxiety but this doesn’t affect my sleep at all. It’s 10am & I’m still wide awake & have been for about 3 days.
I’ve read on here that some people are prescribed clonazepam long-term. If you do, please tell me abou your experience with this (if you want ofc).

Could someone give me details (e.g. email) of a private psychiatrist in the UK who prescribes bupropion? In the UK its only licenced for smoking cessation so most NHS psychiatrists won't prescribe it.
I have obtained it online legally for smoking cessation and just lied and said I smoked, however its somewhat expensive (~£40/month for the low 150mg dose) and I would rather obtain it a more "officially".
I have not taken an antidepressant before; however, I would like to try this first as it lacks some of the sexual side effects that more common ADs have (such as SSRIs and SNRIs) and there is some evidence to suggest that it is better than SSRIs at targeting symptoms of hypersomnia and fatigue (e.g. see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16934768/) - symptoms which I have.
Following significant life stress around 6 months ago, I had a psychotic and manic episode and am taking olanzapine (5mg) for this. I have not been diagnosed with anything. Since then I have been quite depressed and finding it difficult to work and generally have little to no motivation to do anything, am very indecisive, etc. I also have ADHD and am taking methylphenidate for this - i'd prefer dextroamphetamine sulphate as this drug worked the best for me in the past, and also seemed to have some antidepressant effects (which isn't surprising as preliminary research suggests amphetamines might work in combo with antidepressants - see e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6375494/ ). However, I am having a difficult time getting this prescribed at the moment - probably because I was taking it at the time of my manic episode (and my dose of 35mg was too high in hindsight), so my NHS psychiatrist thinks dextroamphetamine way have played a part in my manic episode.

It didn’t help me with my issues.
Biggest issue is procrastinating and daydreaming or overthinking all the time.

Hi for me when was prescribed vyvanse i always noticed within 15 minutes (20 at most), an extremely noticeable increase in body temperature/heart rate, elevated mood,energy,stimulation,Concentration,motivation,ability to learn/recall information.
I would always take it orally on an empty stomach which reliably produced its effects within 15-20 minutes.
During the time in my life were i was prescribed vyvanse there were no other drugs being taken.No caffeine,alcohol,prescriptions,OTC, illicit substances.
These positive effects lasted around 16 hours when i first started taking 20mg. With no noticeable negative effects.
Due to tolerance roughly every week the dose would be increased by 10mg. 70mg being the highest.
At 70mg the positive effects would have worn of within 2 hours. leading to extreme irritability,depression and an intense craving which would last about 20 hours.
If i can recall correctly the vyvanse is meant to be metabolised into dexamphetamine in the liver. Its meant to take around 2 hours to produce a noticeable effect which can last up to 12 hours. (correct me if im wrong) .
Any idea why vyvanse had such a quick onset and short duration?
Also if this is somehow significant. I found 70mg vyvanse stronger than 40mg of generic dexamphetamine sulphate.(immediate release)
When roughly 1/4 of the vyvanse is meant to be turned into amphetamine.
Why do i find the same doses of vyvanse stronger than the same dose of dexamphetamine sulphate?
It makes absolutely no sense to me and my psychiatrist at the time.
