2024.05.04 12:53 anontarg Raja the greatest

Raja the greatest
When SPB joins in between, the song takes a different turn emotionally. Up until that moment, the song follows a rather gloomy mood. The heroine is outside the prison, singing her heart out. The situation is not great, her love is in prison. And that too as a death row inmate. She isn't sure if this love will succeed. She doesn't even know for sure if the guy she is in love would reciprocate her feelings. So her song is filled with longing. And Raja with his orchestration just builds on that. Right from Janaki ma's humming in the prelude, Raja sets the tone. Janaki ma invokes such great feelings of longing in her voice. You feel every bit of the uncertainty the heroine should have felt. Her voice embodies all her hope. Raja uses the strings section to enhance the longing. He drags out the melody. It's like the whole world is going slow for the heroine, so the melody is also slowed down. The flute in the interlude sounds like a bird singing out in sadness just like the heroine herself. But when SPB joins in right at the midway, the song takes a slight turn. The hero has acknowledged the heroine. He has acknowledged her love for him and is reciprocating it. He is giving her hope. He is calling her "Paadum Nilave". He himself has gained hope. And SPB sounds like hope. He comes in like a mild and pleasant drizzle that chills the atmosphere. And Raja too shifts the orchestration to match this hope. The 2nd interlude starts off with the strings playing out a jubilant melody. It's like the strings are rejoicing in the newly found love and hope that has bloomed. It's joyous. But the reality has to sink in. Yes, the hero is also in love. Yes, he has returned her feelings. But he is still in prison and he is still going to be hanged. And Raja sets in this reality check right away at the end of the stanza. The strings start to drag, the melody turns back to being somber. And Raja connects it beautifully back to the mixed emotions.
This is one of my all time favourite Raja songs. The lyrics by Mu.Mehta deserves a special mention. And I simply love SPB.
Raja forever ❤️

2024.05.04 06:53 No_Chard9615 Kendrick vs Drake?

Why do you think that is? I’ve been listening to their discography including their older songs and I must say that as time went on, their songs felt more “Filipino”. This is why I’m saying na nahanap na ng BINI ang kiliti ng Pilipino with their hit tracks Pantropiko and Salamin Salamin as well as their lesser-known tracks like Lagi and Kinikilig. For me, Kinikilig feels very Filipino. It doesn’t feel like a foreigner wrote these lyrics, which is what a lot of P-Pop groups feel like to me. It was nice to hear the contrast of their newer singles to their older songs like Da Coconut nut and Born to Win, both releases na hindi pumatok sa target audience.
To be honest, I never bought it when stans keep bringing up “mas patok sa masa ang girl groups”. Naalala ko pa dati, mas sikat pa BGYO sa kanila. I listened to their interview with Rico tapos sinabi pa niya na BGYO were famous and he was asking them how they felt, kung na-ppressure ba sila being compared to the boys. Who would’ve thought that the tables turned, and now BINI na mas marketable?
Only time will tell kung magpapatuloy yung paglaki ng BINI. In a recent interview, the members mentioned na natatakot sila na baka madali ring mawala sa kanila yung success na nararanasan nila ngayon. But you know what they were told? Pinaghirapan nila yun, it was years in the making and hindi sila naging overnight success.

2024.05.03 00:32 ReggaetonPartyMane1 Top 10 Essential Reggaeton-Latin Rap Albums of the 2000's (2000-2009)

Top 10 Essential Reggaeton-Rap Albums of the 2000’s (2000-2009)
1. Tego Calderon – El Abayarde (2002)
This was the album that kicked the doors open for Hip Hop & Reggaeton on a global scale. It broke sales records for the time and had the major labels come knocking to sign every top Reggaeton act they could find. Tego had the respect of both worlds, the Latin Rap and Reggaeton communities alike which contemporaries like Daddy Yankee or Wisin & Yandel never achieved. "El Abayarde" had its 'Perreo' for the trendy crowd, but Calderon does not abandon his potent lyricism nor intelligent social content in favor of mainstream appeal. Ironically, the album was still commercially successful. It is the most universally acclaimed Urbano Latino album of all time.
2. Luny Tunes & Baby Ranks – Mas Flow 2 (2005)
"Mas Flow 2" is the perfect commercial Reggaeton album. Every song is a hit. The album sold a million units when it was mostly physical due to its mass appeal. "Rakata", "Mirame", "Verte", "Mayor Que Yo", "Tiburon", "Es Mejor Olvidarlo", "Dejala Volar", "Castigo", "Tortura" (Yaga & Mackie), so many memorable songs specifically created for this masterpiece of an album. You don't know true Reggaeton if you don't know "Mas Flow 2".
3. Hector & Tito – A La Reconquista (2002)
"A La Reconquista" was actually the first major label release for a Reggaeton album to achieve wide success. Hector & Tito were in peak form with their writing partner Don Omar who wrote a large chunk of the album along with contributions from Noriega. This album is the one that made Luny Tunes & Noriega into the superstar production team they became. Originally DJ Blass and DJ Goldy were going to produce it, but Hector felt he needed a more commercial sound and then DJ Nelson had him working with Luny Tunes who ended up producing the majority of the album. Eliel, Nelson and Goldy contribute to album as well which is chock full of signature songs such as "Gata Salvaje", "Yo Te Buscaba", "Duele", "Caserio" feat. Don Omar, "De Niña a Mujer" feat. Don Omar, "Felina", "Bandida Universitaria" and more. The album sold over 400 thousand units worldwide.
4. Vico C – En Honor a la Verdad (2003)
Vico C came back better than ever on "En Honor A La Verdad". It was like what if we got a wiser, but equally deadly Vico C like in his best days (1988-1993) and hooked him up with the modern sound of the time? The result was "En Honor a la Verdad" which many consider Vico's best album in his illustrious career. The production was handled by DJ Blass, Echo and Vico C himself. It is intelligent, but with enough mainstream appeal to sell over 200 thousand units worldwide. Vico never dumbed himself down like most do in this game. He should be commended for that.
5. Luny Tunes & Tainy – Los Benjamins La Continuacion (2007)
Underappreciated in its time and bigger in the bootleg circuits through Latin America than in actual sales, Luny Tunes & Tainy launched an expanded edition of "Los Benjamins" only 6 months after the album's first version was released which received a mixed reaction and sold far less than "Mas Flow 2". This perfected version sadly was originally a limited edition thus not everyone heard it at the time. It wasn't until blog sites posted free downloads of the album in zip files that it has caught on within the Reggaeton community and hailed as the classic work it always was. It's hard to believe that some actually thought "Los Benjamins" sucked when it first came out. How!? This still boggles me too, but maybe there was too much hype and the lack of solo DY or Hector songs along with RKM & Ken-Y missing though originally announced for the project maybe peeved some fans off. Also Tego, Eddie Dee, Vico C, Ivy Queen, Nicky Jam and other big names were missing from the original version (Ivy Queen appears in a remix exclusive for the expanded edition). Plus, no one cared RBD was on this. That hyped up collabo was pointless. But in the long term this album has become much more appreciated by newer generations especially since "Mas Flow 2" is yet to be available on streaming services. The music production is also a masterclass far superior than most works today.
6. Don Omar – The Last Don (2003)
You know your album is good when old school salsa folks praise your work. That's what Don Omar did with "The Last Don". He took chances that others rarely did at the time such as the tropical infusions, ballads and street songs all combining to make one hell of an album. "The Last Don" has a little bit for everyone from the battle rap style malianteos with Hector and DY, to the club bangers like "Tu Cuerpo Me Arrebata" feat. Trebol Clan, "Intocable" or "Dale Don Dale". Of course "Dile" has now become a song that embodies Latino culture and our music overall. It is alongside "Guantanamera" and "El Cantante" from Hector Lavoe as himnos that are inseparable from Hispanic culture on a global level. The rest of the album is very good as well.
7. Calle 13 – (Self Titled Debut) [2005]
Residente & Visitante broke through an invisible glass ceiling within the pantheon of Reggaeton and Latin Rap; which was that artists with an alternative sound and point of view could never achieve widespread success or acclaim. That changed with their self titled debut album that has sold over 500 thousand units worldwide to date. "Atrevete-te" is still an anthem adopted by modern generations which seems to resonate with today's audience more than the one of the time. But the deep cuts on the album are what gives it the historical significance like his verbal attack on P Diddy and American corporations coming into Puerto Rico to exploit the Urbano culture he represented. Other songs criticizing the corrupt local government but also making you dance with silly lyrics, non sequiturs along with battle rap lyrics that most MCs could never compete with. Visitante's unique production style with contributions from DJ Blass and Danny Fornaris fit the album's motif perfectly and it is Residente's most acclaimed work to date.
8. Daddy Yankee – Barrio Fino (2004)
DY's magnum opus is the second highest selling Reggaeton album of all time after BB's 'Un Verano Sin Ti'. Yes, "Gasolina" is overplayed to the Latin community especially those of us true Reggaeton lovers, but its a classic song. The rest of the album is filled with memorable tracks as well like "Tu Principe" with Zion & Lennox, "Mami No Me Dejes Solo" feat. Wisin & Yandel, "King Daddy", "El Muro", "Corazones", "Dale Caliente" feat. Blacka Nice, "Sabor a Melao" with Andy Montañez and the inescapable "Lo Que Paso Paso" which still receives plenty of airplay on all platforms to this day. It was universally appealing with this being the last time Yankee did a work that was acclaimed with the mainstream and the underground at the same time.
9. Tres Coronas - Nuestra Cosa (2006)
Tres Coronas have performed the songs from this album in stadiums on more than one occasion with a large portion of the crowd knowing and rhyming along to the lyrics. This album was created when they still had the supremely underrated Reychesta and were a trio. No other pure Hip Hop album from this era has had the influence in Latin America "Nuestra Cosa" did. It is a gritty and very raw album which managed to get a lot of traction thanks to the trio's underground buzz prior to signing with Machete Music/Universal Latino. Roccca, PNO, and Reychesta detail the experiences from growing up and living in the barrios of New York and Latin America which resonated with audiences across Spanish speaking countries.
[10. Wisin]() & Yandel – Pal Mundo (2005)
El duo de la historia sold over a million copies with "Pal Mundo" which is just commercial Reggaeton at its best. Almost every song is a hit and instantly recognizable. The production was handled by Luny Tunes' Mas Flow team which included Nesty, Tainy & Nely. This is some of the catchiest and most well produced Reggaeton you will ever hear anywhere. Wisin was also in peak form here with his chanteos and Yandel may be the best Reggaeton chorus guy of all time.
Mencion de Honor: Voltio – Voltage AC (2004), Mala Rodriguez – Lujo Iberico (2000), RKM & Ken-Y - The Masterpiece Nuestra Obra Maestra (2006), La Conspiracion (2001), Baby Rasta & Gringo - Sentenciados (2004), Luny Tunes & Noriega – Mas Flow (2003), DJ Blass – Sandunguero (2001), Nach – Poesia Difusa (2003), Orishas - Emigrantes (2002), Eddie Dee – Los 12 Discipulos (2004), El Roockie - Semblante Urbano (2008), Buddha's Family (2001) & Violadores Del Verso – Vivir Para Contarlo (2006).

This was a tough list to make. Again, this is only 50% my opinion with the rest being general public assessment of those most knowledgable of Latin Rap and Reggaeton history during this period. I am focusing on the opinions of the nuclei within the Reggaeton and Latin Rap communities mainly.
My personal Top 5: 1. Mas Flow (2) 2. Baby Rasta & Gringo - Sentenciados 3. Buddha's Family 4. La Conspiracion 5. El Abayarde

2. Vico C - Hispanic Soul/Xplosion (1991/1993)
Both albums are hugely influential. Both albums were considered widely successful for their time. Even though the mid 90's were a downtrodden time for the father of Hip Hop in Spanish, the early 90's was his peak success for quite a time. Most of his signature songs appear in these two albums. "Xplosion's" production is a little more sleek and refined, but "Hispanic Soul" has so much variety and reflects its title in the sound from Merengue, to House, Hip Hop, Reggae Dancehall and even a ballad. Both albums are considered undeniable classics in the pantheon of Urban Latino music.

Everyone else then followed suit.

2024.04.26 05:32 fizzyscales Ratiorine, Late-Night Apples and Oranges, and How I Realized I Loved Life Because of Erotica: A Story No One Asked For.

Today is April 25th, so it’s time for me to tell a story.
This story starts on Christmas, but it actually doesn’t. No, this story starts with Alhaitham.
To set the stage: it’s two years ago. Sumeru’s cast has been leaked, and I feel absolutely nothing looking at this man. “He’s ugly,” I say, “I don’t care.”
I play the Sumeru storyline. “Oh,” I realize. “He’s funny. He’s autistic.” And so I like him a little.
The turning point comes with the introduction of a pretty blond man for him to queerbait with. Suddenly Kaveh is here. He’s beautiful. I like him a lot. I love him. And so I like Alhaitham a little more.
Haikaveh serves so much to me. Their dynamic is insane. Their lore is insane. Their fan content is insane. Something strange happens here: with each piece of fanfiction or fanart I consume, my liking of Alhaitham ticks up a little more. I realize, unfortunately, that he’s… just like me, for real.
And my liking of Alhaitham keeps ticking up because of this yaoi that includes an arrogant autistic intellectual asshole and a pretty blond man who happen to have matching bird motifs. My liking ticks up so far, in fact, that I now like Alhaitham more than I like Kaveh.
So that’s that: I lost to Alhaitham. Hoyoverse got me again. Now, why does this matter?
To answer that, we have to fast-forward to half a year ago. Dr. Ratio gets drip marketed, and I feel absolutely nothing looking at him. “He’s ugly,” I say, “I don’t care.”
I play the 1.6 quest. “Oh,” I realize. “He’s funny. He’s autistic.” I think you get where this is going.
Yes, of course. The turning point comes with the introduction of a pretty blond man for him to queerbait with. Suddenly it’s Christmas morning, and I’m still awake at one or two o’clock, and Final Victor gets leaked.
I stare at Final Victor for a long time, and then the description for it comes out, and I stare at it some more. I hadn’t thought about Aventurine before this. Nothing much about his appearance in Future Market had stuck out to me, and his render with that fuckass hat on it hadn’t done anything either. But Final Victor does. Final Victor sells him to me immediately. I like him a lot. I love him. And this light cone that’s entranced me happens to have Dr. Ratio in it. So I like Dr. Ratio a little more.
Over the course of the next three weeks, I keep thinking about it. I consume the handful of Ratiorine fics that come out. There aren’t very many, and I want more. At this point, all we have is a handful of lines and the vague idea of toxic yaoi, so I say I don’t ship them. “I don’t think these two should be in a relationship,” I say. “I just need to see them against an office desk.”
I hadn’t written fanfiction in months. I hadn’t completed writing a fic in over a year, and that one had been a joke that had been preceded by another year of dormancy before it. And I’d never written anything above a T rating.
But I need more than Final Victor. I need more than what I’d been scraping through. I think about it. I consider it. I talk about it to my roommate.
My roommate draws them, and so Google Docs gets opened. I have to have something to give back. For the first time ever, I start drafting something more than teen romance and mutual pining.
It’s from Ratio’s perspective because I don’t know what Aventurine’s thinking. All I had for him was a handful of voiced lines and a yaoi light cone, so I write through Ratio. I think long and hard about how he thinks, rewatching the 1.6 quest and picking through his lore.
My liking of him keeps ticking up, because now Hoyoverse has given me a new yaoi with an arrogant intellectual autistic man and a pretty blond man who also happen to have matching bird motifs.
I finish that fic, and 2.0 comes out. My roommate and I go crazy over how much I’d gotten right from how little I’d had to work with. My roommate keeps drawing. I keep writing. Actually, I don’t, because Persona 3 Reload and finals take over my life. I meet another fic writer on the leaks thread though whining about that. She encourages me and gives me advice.
I finish P3R and finals, and it’s spring break, and I throw everything I have into writing. I become a social recluse by spending every day in a coffee shop. With each little bit I write, my penchant for angst starts shining through. My brain tells me to wreck Aventurine, so I wreck him. I consider how Ratio should react to that. I consider it deeply, and I write it.
I don’t realize it then but… he’s just like me, for real. And it’s more than that. More comes later. Even after I admit I relate to Ratio, I don’t realize the other part: somehow in all this, I’d subconsciously imprinted the relationship between my roommate and I onto Aventurine and Ratio. My roommate and I are so aroace that I made us yaoi. Okay, I guess.
I come back from spring break, and I’m still writing. Every day, I disappear in the evening into our room and only resurface around ten-thirty to eat fruit and clean the kitchen with my roommate. I talk about writing, and my roommate talks about art, and we keep digging ourselves into a deeper and deeper hole as I throw out ideas and my roommate draws them.
It hadn’t been like this before. Our relationship had been good enough to keep living together for the second year in a row, but there’s this new sort of vulnerability involved when you’re yapping while loading the dishwasher with no one else around.
The feeling of creativity in the palm of my hands, of being able to share it with others is something so new and special to me. “Hold Me Just Because” by Madeon ends with the words “Tu m'as encouragé à… / Bah, à créer un truc quoi, et.” “You encouraged me to… well, to create something.” Isn’t that beautiful?
So there’s the first gift Ratiorine gave me.
The second gift is quieter. It’s something that’s not just from them, or even writing in general. It’s something that had been building for a while, through walks to the library and Persona 3 Reload and relapsing on Porter Robinson’s Nurture.
The second gift is given to me through the gentle breeze of the wind and the blossoming of flowers in the spring. The second gift comes through the advice of my yaoi-fic mentor and all those nights cleaning the kitchen in between hours spent staring at Google Docs.
My current piece, where I’ve gone back to writing Ratio’s perspective after a little stint of writing with Aventurine, is made up of many heavy-handed metaphors about the colors of spring and finding beauty in the quiet parts of life. I’d written those without thinking too much about them. I’d thought I’d just been stringing pretty words together to write a love story.
But it’s not just that, is it? No, these words came from me, even before I knew it. “Somewhere behind his consciousness, a feeling without a name clicks into place,” I’d written. It’s funny how I didn’t realize I’d been talking about myself.
I thought about it on a walk in the rain to the library, electronic music back in my ears. I thought about it, and I danced across a bridge with my umbrella in the air and without a care in the world, and I realized.
I wasn’t just writing a story about some yaoi men from Honkai: Star Rail falling in love with each other. I was writing a story about how I’d fallen in love with life.
There was a point in time where things were very bad for me, but I’d gotten past that even before coming to college. I was fine. What I didn’t know was that I could have more than fine: I could have joy and childlike wonder and poems written for the one person on my private Twitter account to see. I could listen to Nurture and think that I too could make something good. I could bike back from class and feel like crying over watching trees sway in the wind and hearing birds chirp in the air. I could be happy about nothing more than the act of being alive.
And I think I could’ve gotten here eventually, Ratiorine or not. But they were what pushed me, with that silly little light cone that lured me in with toxic queerbait before the story flipped the narrative and left me to work with a relationship based on hesitant-yet-genuine care.
So now it’s April 25th, and it’s been four months since Christmas, and coincidentally it's also four months until my twentieth birthday. I thought about doing a write-up like this last month, but I missed it. I’m glad I missed it, because that last part wouldn’t have made it in there if I’d written this last month.
My favorite Porter Robinson song, “Trying to Feel Alive,” ends with the lyrics “and then somebody somewhere finds / the warmth of summer in the songs you write / maybe it’s a gift that I couldn’t recognize / trying to feel alive.”
I get it now, Porter, even if where someone found the warmth of spring was through some fanfiction I wrote that was supposed to be porn and ended up as angst. Life is a gift. I’m happy to be alive, and I’m happy to have written Aventurine having a mental breakdown on the floor of a casino bathroom.
Happy four months, Ratiorine. I’m not sorry for what I’ve done to you, but thanks for all you’ve given me.

P.S. I still like Aventurine more than you, Ratio. Try me, bitch.
P.P.S. Don’t tell him, but I’m losing to him in that battle.

2024.04.26 01:04 Jonas_super_nao WOLF 2010 (2024 status)

WOLF 2010 (2024 status)
last update:26/24/04

disclaimers:

  • cherie, toilet milk and mars arent from wolf 2010
  • This post is just an update, most of this post isn't even written by me, im just doing this cuz the creator dont want to update the post since 22/7/23 (not their fault) and we got a lot of information since then (it was written by @ u/MikiTime tho)

"track list" :

  1. Adam’s Family (uncofirmed)
  2. Wolf ("one" even tho is not one)
  3. Skut (Lucky Charms) (Tyler's verse on "Chordaroy" by Mellowhype (at 3:12) has been reused for this song. Tyler said he doesn't like this song. Lucky Charms is a fake name, the real name for this song is Skut)
  4. Fish (OG Fish, the second half is missing vocals and its a little bit different on the first half)
  5. Good Morning
  6. Berlin (Instrumental only, confirmed to be track 7. However, the version of Berlin with vocals was supposed to be changed to track 6, however that version is lost)
  7. Tron Cat ( Original version of "Tron Cat", doesn't have the Dr. T.C. outro )
  8. WSUP (Low quality unfortunately)
  9. Secret Garden [V2] (Secret Garden was a Stereo-Type instrumental which then was recorded in 2008 (Which is lost) . From what I understand on the tracker, the song was re-recorded for Wolf 2010 or Tyler just used the 2008 version for Wolf 2010. Only thing that exists of this track is the instrumental which was made in 2008. So the Wolf 2010 version is supposed to have vocals. Image confirming it was from stereo-type and image confirming it was gonna be on wolf
  10. In The Sun (Lost, instrumental to this is called "hackk" (Named after Bruce Hackk). This Wolf song was mentioned in an article about odd future as being played to the interviewer, version with vocals is lost. Has production from Matt Martians and Om'Mas Keith, features Frank Ocean.)
  11. Half and Half (Lost, said to be one of his best songs by Tyler himself)
  12. Bitches Brewin 2 (doesn't exist, it was supposed to be bitches brewin with a third verse )
  13. mitten kitten (instrumental only. but tbh we dont even know if it was supposed to have vocals)
  14. You’re Drunk (This audio is the first version of "You're Drunk", the second one was played on UStream, it is pitched down with parts that are only piano and singing. The second version was recorded with someones phone and it isn't even the full version)
  15. Unorthodox (lost, (it had some snippeds but they all ended up being fake (they are really good tho). Tyler said to be one of his best songs lyrically)
  16. Nino (This is an instrumental from 2008 ace, the wolf 2010 version was supposed to be and updated rework. Nino also had a remix made for Soundz On Acid however it is lost. The instrumental to Wolf which was found to be made in 2008-09 had an alternate outro which is said to sound similar to Nino without drums, however it is lost also)
  17. Annie (instrumental from Eargasm is the only thing that exists of this track. Wolf 2010 was supposed to have the version with vocals, it has some pretty cool edits tho)
  18. Chewbacca (not Ooh; has extra Hodgy verse)
  19. Llama (made around bastard times, it was supposed to have Earl, but his mama didnt let tyler publish it anywhere, it was some cool edits tho)
  20. WolfSwag(bonus track? extended version of wolf, it was supposed to be on physical versions)

extras:

  1. Let em go (last part of "radicals" of goblin, it has some diferent things)
  2. Bitch Suck Dick (OG)
  3. Hey You (it is theorized that it was going to be on 2013 wolf, nothing confirmed tho, i personaly thinks not)
  4. Sleep
  5. Analog (Rough draft) (an analog version that doesnt have tyler, just hodgy yapping alone. He has some different verses tho)
  6. Fuck this Christmas
(if im missing anything/said something wrong, mb, english is not my native leanguage, so pls correct me with anithing)

Cover arts found:

  1. tyler one, it features a normal pic of tyler, it was founded on his twitter around 2010
  2. the cats one, it features a bunch of eyeless cats, and "wolf" writen on it, no one knows where it came from but everyone uses it, even tyler tracker, its my fav btw
  3. how do i even call this, it features a photoshoped easter with the wolf logo on it, it looks weird but it doesnt look that far from something tyler could do (if you compare it to the B.S.D oficial cover) it was founed by a reddit user, saying that he founded it on a old of forum on a post made in 2012, its prob fake but still pretty cool
  4. blonde kid one, it features eyeless lucas vercitti as a kid with "wolf" written. it was leaked by someone who leaked a lot of tyler songs before, (like rotten sarah and some other random dinosaur songs) and its prob the real one

2024.04.24 13:22 Shimariiin Hiphop Heads New Upload : Prime BLKD vs Preparadong Sak Maestro

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFeIzF1NM7g
Here are my thoughts abt this video :
100% na BLKD - vs Flict G or Uprising Royal Rumble 100% na Sak - vs Zero Hour or M-Zhayt
If comparison lang ng peak performances nila, point goes to BLKD kase yung ginawa ni BLKD nung 2013, kayang kaya parin durugin 95% ng emcees today in terms of written, delivery, and stage presence. Sobrang lakas din ni Sak in his prime pero may tendencies rin na masyadong mahaba yung setup kaya natutulugan.
Written : I think lamang si Sak in pure lyricism, sobrang ganda ng construction ng bars at multis ni Sak, Flawless pakinggan pero ayun nga medjo may pagka dragging. What's going for BLKD though is mas versatile siya sa jokes and bars, malakas ang sarcasm, at lakas rin ng reference game but he also tends to use jargons, bisaya, deep and complex words na nakaka alienate ng crowd minsan.
Delivery : 100% BLKD to, boses palang ni BLKD maiintimidate na kalaban tas sisigawan kapa harap harapan during his rounds. Sobrang clear pa ng boses niya pag nasalita siya alam mo siya agad. Though props kay Sak Maestro dahil smooth parin ang delivery niya kahit di niya main language ang Tagalog.
Stage Presence : Again 100% BLKD to. Intimidating talaga kabattle si BLKD lalo na nung prime years niya (eg. vs Gin, vs Thike, and vs Flict G) na kulang nalang umiyak at mag choke yung kalaban dahil mao-overshadow kalang talaga ni BLKD. Charismatic rin si Sak Maestro but in a good different way.
Just my tots so TLDR : BLKD would win.

2024.04.23 12:15 mariposa933 the lyrics of "coreto" by Céu

Hi, i like listening to brasilian music, espeically when i used to learn the pronunciation in portuguese.
But i have a hard time understanding the meaning of the lyrics sometimes.
Like this song called "Coreto" by Céu Eu sou a voz que balançou o teu coreto Eu prometi não estremecer mais Teu coração já nos provou não ter sustento Pra suportar a erupção De uma voz incandescente Como as lavas de um vulcão Mas você petrificou Tudo, tudo que queimava Trate de se resolver, pois agora 'To cantando mais que nunca o que aflora Eu quero ser a sua trilha Quero tocar na sua rádio
can someone help me in understanding what it talks about ?
