I have an old S8 that I want to use just for some app testing. It has no battery and the little usb charging coil thing that sat over the battery is gone also.
Phone works fine with a cable plugged in and I can have the apps I need but I continually get the Charging Stopped error on screen about the temp being too low.
I have do not disturb turned on with no exceptions as I was hoping that was going to do the trick but it keeps popping up and blocking 2/3 of the screen.

Now, since the update, it's basically unplayable, even on lowest settings. This doesn't only occur in matches, but in the shooting range and even in the lobby. My wifi is pretty good, didn't change and all other games like Fornite and The Finals work perfectly fine with a ping of around 10-20. I'm pretty sure regarding my specs, I also shouldn't be having an issue with playing Apex on my PC. When playing Apex, my GPU seems to be pretty occupied and a sound occurs, which I believe is "coil whine". But when testing it with furmark2 its doing a good job and showing no signs of an issue.
Could there be an issue between AMD and the latest update? Or does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Thank you in advance! (See video below)

my 2003 ford f150 with the 5.4 triton has a misfire in cylinder 2 and my long term fuel trim was around 25 in bank 1, the other bank was ok i think the ltft was something like 6 and the short term fuel trim for bank two oscilated around 0 +- 4, the stft on bank one tho was anywhere from -8 to 16. i replaced the spark plugs, swapped the coil packs from cylinder 2 to cylinder one to see if my coil pack was bad but the problem stayed in cylinder 2, took out my upstream o2 sensor on the passenger side but when the pcm matched bank 1 and 2 fuel trims the problem persisted. i just replaced alot of the tubing from the pcv valve and i used a unlit propane torch to see if there was a vacuum leak (although im not enitirely sure i didnt miss anything). also i cleaned all the fuel injectors and swapped the injectors on cylinder 1 and 2 but the problem persists in cylinder 2 (or so my scanner says, code p0302). it idles rough, i have a huge decrease in power (if my foot is on the break and im at a stop my calculated load is like 50% and driving up the hill to my house i was pushing 85%). the next thing im planning on looking at is a pressure test in the cylinder, a smoke test to check for leaks, or any burnt out wiring for the coils or injectors. does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions

(TLDR: I've always wanted an RX-8 because it was the best driving car I'd ever been in. It seems like I'm not going to be able to ever get one. Are there any alternatives?)
When I was 16 my parents gave me a 2009 Honda Civic (I don't remember the trim). It was a pretty standard car but it was in good shape and felt pretty good to drive. Unfortunately I was young and dumb and made a mistake that ended up totaling it.
I went to look for a new car using the insurance money and I wanted something small and quick. Because I was a dumb teenager, I started by looking at sports cars I had no business buying. While I was going through autotrader looking at cars I couldn't afford I stumbled upon an RX-8 for sale.
Since it was in my price range and looked pretty cool, I decided to do some research. Overnight I was smitten. It was fast, revv'd to the moon, had the coolest engine design I'd ever seen, and the car WANTED you to drive it like a bat out of hell. I spent hours researching, learning about all the problems, reading all the ways to mitigate them, and found a checklist of everything that I should check before buying one.
We found a private seller that had an 05 RX-8 with sub 60k miles in our price range and was willing to let a teenager test drive it. It felt fantastic to drive, granted I didn't have a ton of experience at the time but I loved it. Then we got back to the owners house and started talking stuff over for awhile. It seemed like I was going to be able to drive it but the owner mentioned that the engine had flooded out on him before and he'd had to tow it to the dealership to get it fixed. I knew about the flooding issue, I knew that the ignition coils on the 05's were weak and that flooding became less of a problem if you replaced them with stronger coils. My mom wanted they seller to start it again for us. He went to start it and flooded his engine.
That was that, my parents concluded that this was an unreliable piece of shit and I couldn't be trusted to look for a car myself. They took me to a dealer we had a family connection with and bought the first car he recommended, an 08 Nissan Altima. The transmission blew up after a year and a half, thankfully while it was under warranty , but two months after that a tree fell on the car.
While I was looking for a new car my parents and I got into an unrelated argument and they decided to go back to the same dealer that sold us the Altima and buy the first car he suggested. It's an 09 Chevy Malibu and I hate it. I've been driving it for around 5 years and it's killed all the love I used to have for driving and working on cars. It's slow and it handles like it's way bigger than it actually is. I'm so tired of it but since it's still driveable, I haven't looked into buying anything else.
Yesterday on a whim, I decided to try looking for a new car. Lo and behold I found my old dream car on sale for super cheap. An 09 RX-8 for 2,500 USD ... with 101,627 mi. So I started doing all the research again and remembered the fun thing about the RX-8, no one wants you to buy this car. I was reminded of all the reasons that this car is a bad idea. Premium gas with shit fuel economy, lots of upkeep, no parts being made. With no way of knowing if the previous owners had properly maintained the car, my main worry is the engine compression. So I called a Mazda dealership near the seller to see how much getting a test done would cost. As soon as I mentioned an RX-8 the tech immediately started trying to talk me out of buying one because the parts are non-existent and there's only one Renesis engine left in the US.
The world has finally convince me, getting this car as a daily driver is a bad idea. But I can't get it out of my head, I've wanted this car for nearly a decade. I'm still considering getting the car as a project without selling my Malibu since it is so cheap, but I'm not rich and $2500 is still a good chunk of money and the compression test is $640. So I'm turning to the good people of whatcarshouldIbuy, would I be a fool to buy this car? Is there any car that can drive as good as an RX-8 within my price range? Can I ever be free of this masochistic obsession with a car I've barley had a chance to drive but have longed for almost as long as I've been driving?

Hi everyone.
I wanted to share my experience after almost 3 years and hope for some support and hope as my health anxiety is taking me down the rabbit hole of self-diagnosis. 1.2 years ago I had all hormonal bloods and markers as well as a pelvic and transvaginal scan and was given all clear on all.
I have been having the following bothersome symptoms and recent blood tests that were clear but I am hoping that these are all caused by the copper IUD and not the dreaded C word as I am nervous.
Coil was fitted in August 2021
Two negative pregnancy tests but the period is now 7 days late...I also had a shorter cycle of 17 days in the March period after 2 years of regular 26-29 days..(I use a flo tracker)
I have had for a couple of years...
Frequent urination especially around ovulation and Period. A feeling of incomplete emptying of bladder Ovulation cramping Constipation Gastritis Pain that feels like spleen under left rib Tender breasts Fatigue Bloating most of the time Lightheaded Blurry eyes Leg pain Cramping Heavier flow Longer lasting periods Terrible mood swings Anxiety Acne Panic attacks Heart palpitations Strange taste in my mouth Depression Weight gain Insomnia Hot flashes (have increased a lot in the last 4 weeks) Dryness Itchy skin Lower back pain Headaches
Some of these I originally put down to c-section in 2020 but I'm not convinced!
All in all, I am struggling, fed up and scared!
The late period is a new one and the cramps although mild are worrying me.
I have a telephone consultation booked for tomorrow afternoon to discuss with GP but I am leaning after research toward iud removal.

I have a Blues Jr. (version I from the 90s completely unmodified if it matters). I love the clean tone, but I wonder if it doesn’t have some distortion when you crank it. Unfortunately in my bedroom is not the place to test the limits of a Blues Jr. Bitch will shake the windows.
I do want to overdrive the power amp as well as the preamp for no reason other than I want to hear it. Is an attenuator the device I'm looking for to push the amp to break up without the volume being at a level unbearable without ear protection?
As I've read over the past day or two about attenuators, it looks like there are (basically) reactive and resistive. To the degree my interest is in exploring what the amp itself has to offer (as opposed to altering the signal to make a particular desired sound, which I could do with a pedal), it seems like a reactive attenuator might be what I want. But for my bedroom purposes will a $50 Carl's Speaker Soak or $100 Bugera Power Soak suffice?
Reactive attenuators under $400 (used) of which I'm aware are Weber MiniMass and ToneKing Ironman II Mini. I could also build an hybrid reactive-resistive attenuator based on a circuit that uses an inductive coil and a series of resistors (I build guitars and am comfortable with a soldering iron).
Also, is a "DI load box" the same as a reactive attenuator (e.g., Two Notes Torpedo Captor, Suhr Reactive Load)? I understand the purpose of a DI load box for DI purposes, but I don't know if it does what I want - make my combo quieter.

Cosmetic Details - For the life of me can’t fine the front plant color I want, so most likely will be using a spray paint meant for the aluminum housing. However, could I theoretically get away with not completely gluing it closed if I put it inside a transparent hard case for easier access? EDIT: Found a place nearby that does powder coatings and they have thousands of options, very glad!

Hola como estan hace 5 dias compre una placa rx 6700 xt asrock challanger d la de 2 coolers teoricamente "nunca usada" solo montada en el rig, pero nunca minada, recalco por que me lo vive diciendo. Tema llega, los cooler sucios por dentro, el resto impecable parecia no usada con respecto a los metales, y el plastico. por otro lado stock(no undervolteada) tiene 99 grados de junction point (coolers al 60%)lo que me parecio mucho y adicionalmente ayer al 4 dia empezo a hacer coil wine en los test leve pero esta, cuando juego un bannerlord en ultra se escucha el ruido, ademas de como un polvo gris entre los metales, medio color metalico, poco leve igual. Que onda la devuelvo o me la quedo? Si la undervolteo llega a las 75 o 80 grados lo que deberia ser supongo (la verdad no tengo experencia entre las placas potentes)

i have a 2003 toyota camry 2.4.
It had a multiple cyl misfire code as well as 2,3 cyl misfire. I changed the coil on plug from cyl 3 to cyl 4 because it had a historic fault on #3. After resetting the CEL i then got cyl #2 misfire so i changed the cyl 2 coil to cyl 1 I now have a cyl 1 misfire.
The low tech approach has pretty much told me that the cyl 2 coil is bad but i would very much like to confirm that it is bad by testing it.
Does anyone have the testing procedure for this coil?

Just finishing up on a 1998 Mazda 626 LX head job. 2.0 liter, 4 cylinders.
Car cranks, but no start.
I think that I may have a damaged ignition cable to cylinder one, but would that legitimately cause the car to not start? 🤔
I can smell fuel, but no spark.
Also...suggestions for some easy DIY tests before I start throwing parts at the issue (spark plugs, cables, coil).

Learned a valuable lesson when I bought my first nice mattress without testing it in person. I did a ton of reading on mattress underground, went to one of the trusted vendors on their page and tried out a few of their mattresses as a replacement, thought I had the perfect match and I was wrong and then wrong again and then wrong again…
The first mattress I bought was a hybrid mattress with 3in of foam on top. It felt so comfortable, but after a full nights sleep, my lower back was SO tight I could barley bend over and get back up.
I went back to the location, talked with the owner and decided to get the model that had 3in of foam, but slightly firmer coils in the center where your hips rest. This felt pretty darn good at the store, but after a few months of trying it out, my hips were sore. Not sore like before, but sore like it was not soft enough and was causing pressure on my hips (side sleeper).
Drove the 1hr again after talking to their online support, tried out their mattress that had the same coils as the first one, but only 2in of foam on top. Thought to be a happy medium between the two I tried before. Once again after a few months of using this my hips are sore. Again more like a pressure sore and I felt like my sleep was very inconsistent as a result. I was tried ALL the time.
At this point, I decided maybe I try a topper. I decided on a 3in memory foam from Costco that a lot of the reviews said help with pressure in the hips on their too hard mattress… I bet you can guess what happened next. Yup, My lower back and hips are so tight, I was uncomfortable. Last night I moved first to the floor and then to the spare room…
I am past the 365 sleep trial at this point and I’ve tried the majority of the vendors mattresses… I am just not sure what to do now and it is stressing me out. I need a good nights rest and I am just not getting it. I’ve also invested a lot of money getting it right, so that hurts too.
Any ideas what to do from here?

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are looking for a new mattress. Our current one is memory foam and 8 years old. We are both overweight (270 for me, 240 for him). He is a side sleeper while I alternate between all three (side, stomach & back).
I’ve been doing a lot of reading on this sub and thought the Titan Plus would be a good idea. The main issue is that we’re in Canada, so we’d be buying the mattress without testing it out first. We’ve been to our local mattress store and the mattress that felt most comfortable for the both of us is a hybrid semi-firm at $3.5K. I’m a bit hesitant because I can’t seem to find any reviews, so I’m not sure about the durability, especially with plus size sleepers. Here are the specs of the mattress (I can’t seem to be able to attach a screenshot):
