So, I am trying to work on my mental health. I am a bit impulsive about spending money and often use tech. I find I like to collect things for hobbies more than actual hobbies. So I am trying to find some stuff that steers me away from money and tech. Every time I try to think of something offline, I only come up with chores.
Things I enjoy:
-Writing (often done on my computer)
-Drawing (often done on my tablet - which I much prefer)
-Board Games (board game socials but I live alone)
-Genealogy (Apart from the archives which I do go to, all records are online)
-Podcasts (Limited tech, but still tech)
-Singing (fun but not a hobby unless I get involved in a choir)
I do want to get into crafting but those cost money to get started. And I notice that my interest in crafts tend to fade once I own the things to do it. I live in a big city and have access to public transit but no car.
I know that this is definitely a 'stupid question' anywhere else with obvious solutions, but if people could list their hobbies that they can pick up and spend little or no money, and very rarely requires tech, that would be amazing. I tend to be quite introverted.

As we all know, there are many factors that can determine the rise and fall of a memecoin. Hege is an extremely promising, yet still very young memecoin. We are only 4 weeks old. For our first 2-3 weeks we relied almost exclusively on organic growth, which brought us from 1.5 to 8 millions just by the sheer power of our narrative and viral graphics. Now, we are taking a blended approach and spending our growing marketing funds to encourage the community. We have already had three big calls just this week. Two were from Chinese influencers, as the asian market access will get us a lot of new buyers and attention. Both influencers have 120k+ following on X, and we expect more whales and big buys in the next days as general market volume recovers. We also were called from the Whale Everything X account (140k+ followers), and a lot more marketing is on the way. We have a CEX listing wallet to gather more funds to be listed in CEXs and a separate marketing wallet where the community and top holders put quite a lot into regularly. It's actually amazing how much (and how many) people believe in this project. Most importantly, we have a newly launched online merch shop which just like everything Hege is extremely cool. Multiple Hege accessories and clothes, and all profits go directly into the marketing wallet. There's also plans to film a video of someone dancing in the club in full HEGE outfit (chad Dev offered 500€ out of his own pocket to whoever would do it)... And it's gonna be a banger.
Hege Factor 3: The community.

Hi, I am f21 and live with my first bf of 3 years m25 and his two roommates (m26, m31). We are pretty good friends since moving in with each other despite not knowing each other when we did in the beginning - It was also the first time I lived out of home and with a partner (our relationship was long distance primarily before that and we met on a game). I started a fast food job last month. I was the shy and quiet type. I've since opened up more, thanks to my co worker. he tried befriending me and got me to play online games with him and other co workers after work. we've spoken on the phone at night a couple times (in a gc with other coworkers so anyone else can join, but no one else does.)
I started training on his position and now we kind of tag team it. So im next to him for the entire shift. and now we're constantly messing around (I just mention we are both just barely adults, he's less than 6 months older than me as well.) By messing around I mean teasing, and even a little touchy but not inappropriately. he has also made some jokes about me wanting him in a not-so appropriate way. and I was surprised it didn't bother me much. I don't get offended easily. but I really can't tell if he's flirting with me or if he's just really nice. his nickname for me literally means a "woman with a large chest and curves." im a bit thicker than him and short so. idk. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find him attractive and I wish I could go into more detail but I don't want to risk him finding this. My mom (70F) has been suffering from dementia for several years and is in denial. She desperately wants to be a hot twenty-something again and hates the idea she’s aging. She battles the appearance of being old with Botox and surgeries (facelifts, tummy tuck, breast lifts, mommy makeovers).
While she initially was pretty well-off from the wealth she inherited from her parents, she has spent a lot of money fighting nature. She has also spent some pretty substantial sums being romance scammed. We have confronted her as we have become aware of the scams but it has only made her more secretive about how she spends her money. My 4 siblings and I currently have no real insight into her finances.
In the past year, she almost burned her house down by putting a pot holder in the oven. She is a hoarder (pets and things) and her house is a hazard. She also almost burned one of my homes down by leaving a pot holder on a hot stove. She has gotten lost driving, frequently forgets who we are, constantly forgets to take her medicine (or takes it twice) and has run her car into random things.
Calls to her doctor have been basically useless. He did a mini-cog and said that while it evidences she has some memory loss, he was hesitant to start her on meds because she said that she agrees she has memory loss, but it comes from “not talking enough because no one coming to visit her.” My siblings are on the brink of reporting him because his apathetic “medical care” is only bolstering her belief that she’s fine.
To put it lightly, my mother was cruel, abusive, and neglectful to my siblings and I growing up. I was beaten every day of my childhood with a horse crop and put into unsafe situations via her neglect until I ran away from home at 16. While dementia has made her a much kinder person overall, my siblings and I cannot forget our childhoods and cannot allow her to live with us.
While we have all tried confronting her with the evidence of her increasing dementia over the last few years, she has been deeply in denial. Things came to a crescendo this past weekend when my siblings and I went back to gather in our hometown for a sibling’s birthday/Mother’s Day and she wandered off by herself and got lost, lost her phone, and forgot who some of us were. She is still in denial there’s a problem.
Regardless, a situation has come up where a house up the street from mine has come up for sale. My siblings and I have decided that my mother should buy it to be closer to family. I would never allow her to live with me, but I think I could stomach my family and I checking in on her if she lived up the street. This will give her a chance to have a little bit of independence. Unlike her, I live in a walkable city with a multitude of resources for the elderly.
However, she is already bucking a bit because she doesn’t want to leave the town where her boyfriend lives. This man barely gives her the time of day. He flatly refused to live with her (he’s also a hoarder) when she was buying her current house just two years ago. We tried to convince her to move closer when she was in the market for that house but she insisted on moving to his town to be near him. I’m not sure why because he rarely comes to visit. He has also been dismissive of her memory problems and told her that everything she is experiencing is part of normal aging (if you can’t tell, I don’t trust this man and neither do my siblings).
My siblings say if she does not accept the plan and buy the house in my neighborhood, she must go to a nursing home. Overall, her dementia has become a time bomb. We are all sure that the “big event” that will force our hand on action will be here before the end of the year. Yesterday she seemed cool with moving here but today I am pretty sure that the boyfriend is going to become an excuse again (anyone who has dealt with family dementia probably understands the agree/disagree cycle).
I don’t know if I’m looking for advice, support, or I’m just venting on this situation but I would appreciate guidance from anyone who has been in something similar. Sending hugs to anyone else going through this, it fucking sucks.

I’ve been debating posting on here or speaking out for a while, but I finally decided it needs to be said. I was a former mod for Scudi, he is NOT who he says he is or appears to be on stream. The people defending him so hard are insane. It’s not just about my story, there are so many others that have been affected by the actions of this man. Scudi does nothing but sit behind his camera & yap. His mods do all of the rest of his work for him. They run the discord, they handle any issues, they are in charge of everything. He has said before he wanted us to handle it all so that he could be able to just get on and stream. It was our job to make it as easy for him as possible. On top of doing all of that and handling everything he had the nerve to tell us in a meeting that we don’t do enough as mods, we need to be doing more, we need to find and suggest games for him to play. Another mod spoke up and said it was unfair of him to say we weren’t doing enough and should do more. He’s even made me cry on more than one occasion. Know what happened to her? He got so pissed that he actually made her cry and feel like she had to apologize to him, not long after that she mysteriously disappeared from the discord. Probably either left on her own or was banned. He talks crap about any other streamer who isn’t himself and actually brags about it. He really hates BimBamgaming & Captain Tubesocks the most as he has referred to them as “Bimbo gaming & Captain C*msocks” on more than one occasion. Also his “buddy” Juuq? He doesn’t like him either, regardless of what you see online. he talks crap about him to his mods too because he feels like Juuq copies him since Scudi has “figured out what works” and he thinks Juuq is stupid for choosing to not have any mods himself. Also ever notice how he never says the name of a game and it’s always a “funny” made up name? He doesn’t do it to be funny, he genuinely doesn’t want to tell people the game so there’s less of a chance of someone “copying” him. At one point he had it as a rule to ban or mute anyone saying the game name, only did he have us stop doing it when people noticed and he was starting to get called out for it and had people asking. He’s also admitted to us on more than one occasion that he records every call he has with someone via discord or what have you. He proudly and openly admits that and he does so without the other party being aware or consenting. This is all honestly a small part of everything that has happened or gone on. Don’t even get me started on the fact that he is a creep who harasses most of the mods for nudes or tried flirting with them and making everyone uncomfortable. He is a creep, it’s disgusting. Just saying there is a reason there are only ever female moderators, men are almost always automatically denied & even if they get to be interviewed, most likely won’t be accepted. Maybe, just maybe if he could have admitted his wrong doings and owned up to his mistakes this could have been better, maybe we could have moved past this… but instead he continues to be a master manipulator, never taking accountability, making everyone think he’s some great saint when he’s the furthest from it. Take what you will, believe me or not I don’t care. All I’m saying is this is all happening right in front of you & you should open your eyes. There’s so much more I could say or mention.

I don't think I need to hate my ex to move on. Even if he played the villain in my story, I choose forgiveness and genuinely wish him the best. After all, he's growing and learning from life just as I am. Understanding that my ex isn't the villain in the story helped me a lot. I had a t300 setup and worked perfectly for months then decided i want to upgrade so i got the sf1000 wheel. When i connected it and updated everything the t300 stopped working and i thought it was the base so i got a tgt2 instead. i got a SF1000 wheel, updated the drivers by plugging it in via usb like it says to do. Rim didnt work. no screen, no button recognition, nothing. did everything i could think of or found online to try and fix. chalked it up as a broken wheel and gonna return. Here is the kicker. I go to plug in the standard GT wheel that it comes with and now im having the same issue. Buttons dont work. iracing doesnt recognize the Shifters. Control panel shows im not hitting any button when i am. deleted everything and reinstalled everything and nothing has changed. My wheel base still works. I have full FFB working and even the L3 and R3 buttons on the base show as being clicked in control panel. i have the wheel in OTHER mode and not GT mode, even in GT mode nothing happens. Why did my buttons stop recognizing?? all physical connectors look still in great shape. no bends or any signs of wear. the wheel has only been used for a total of less than 40 hours. Any fixes or help would be a life saver and hopefully fixes the SF1000 wheel also. i wasnt getting the LCD to turn on at all and buttons were not mappable in game as it wasnt recognizing it.

weve been together over a year. i would say our relationship is mostly positive, but when it gets bad, it gets really bad. i grew up with an angry, narcissistic, alcoholic father so i cant stand when my bf starts to show some of the same characteristics. he acts immature in arguments, usually arguments start because he says something hurtful, or if hes angry about something unrelated he puts it all on me. he gives me attitude like an angsty teenage boy shows his mother, he uses sarcasm, he plays the blame game with me, and just acts super disrespectful like a child. im a very sensitive, anxious and reactive person, so i have a tendency to overexplain and pour my heart out during the argument, BUT i never ever get disrespectful. im very good at choosing my words carefully and avoiding the mind games when i argue. from there it just escalates and escalates and gets worse and worse until finally he admits hes wrong, he feels super guilty for a few days, comes back apologizing and asking for forgiveness.
heres the catch, he NEVER says that he’ll change. he recognizes and acknowledges that he hurts me sometimes, but when he apologizes he basically just says “ive ruined it all” “i know im such a terrible boyfriend” “i dont deserve you” “this isnt fair to you”
i end up being the proactive partner in the relationship all the time. sometimes i feel like i wear the pants and im the man in the relationship. i start searching up things online, i started going to therapy, i send him articles and i ask him “how can we fix this? what can i do for you? what can we figure out together? what can we fix in our communication?” hes never the one to initiate that, he apologizes and moves on.
