GRRM has been hinting around about Sandor Clegane and his relationship with fire since the beginning (its the first thing mentioned about him in AGOT, Eddard I). In this post I thought I would explore that a bit and see what it could mean for TWoW.
Note: I don't think gods exist in ASOIAF, they are just sources of magic. So when I say R'hllor throughout the post I pretty much just mean "fire magic".
The Initial Burning
While the Hound is walking Sansa home from the Hand's Tourney, he gives Sansa the story of how he was burned:

"Most of them, they think it was some battle. A siege, a burning tower, an enemy with a torch. One fool asked if it was dragonsbreath." His laugh was softer this time, but just as bitter. "I'll tell you what it was, girl," he said, a voice from the night, a shadow leaning so close now that she could smell the sour stench of wine on his breath. "I was younger than you, six, maybe seven. A woodcarver set up shop in the village under my father's keep, and to buy favor he sent us gifts. The old man made marvelous toys. I don't remember what I got, but it was Gregor's gift I wanted. A wooden knight, all painted up, every joint pegged separate and fixed with strings, so you could make him fight. Gregor is five years older than me, the toy was nothing to him, he was already a squire, near six foot tall and muscled like an ox. So I took his knight, but there was no joy to it, I tell you. I was scared all the while, and true enough, he found me. There was a brazier in the room. Gregor never said a word, just picked me up under his arm and shoved the side of my face down in the burning coals and held me there while I screamed and screamed. You saw how strong he is. Bran's Vision
Several chapters before that, we see the Hound's "terrible face" in Bran's vision of the shadows during his coma dream (note that the scope of the series was much smaller here):

He looked south, and saw the great blue-green rush of the Trident. He saw his father pleading with the king, his face etched with grief. He saw Sansa crying herself to sleep at night, and he saw Arya watching in silence and holding her secrets hard in her heart. There were shadows all around them. One shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood. -AGOT, Bran III

worth noting that R'hllor is referred to as the "god of flame and shadow" as well:

On one side is R'hllor, the Lord of Light, the Heart of Fire, the God of Flame and Shadow. Against him stands the Great Other whose name may not be spoken, the Lord of Darkness, the Soul of Ice, the God of Night and Terror. The Blackwater
In his next encounter with fire, the Hound flees the Battle on the Blackwater:

The night of the battle, Sandor Clegane had come to her chambers to take her from the city, but Sansa had refused. Sometimes she lay awake at night, wondering if she'd been wise. She had his stained white cloak hidden in a cedar chest beneath her summer silks. She could not say why she'd kept it. The Hound had turned craven, she heard it said; at the height of the battle, he got so drunk the Imp had to take his men. But Sansa understood. She knew the secret of his burned face. It was only the fire he feared. That night, the wildfire had set the river itself ablaze, and filled the very air with green flame. Even in the castle, Sansa had been afraid. Outside . . . she could scarcely imagine it. -ASOS, Sansa I

Trial by Combat
When Sandor fights Beric we see a flaming sword seemingly begin to defeat the Hound:

The flaming sword leapt up to meet the cold one, long streamers of fire trailing in its wake like the ribbons the Hound had spoken of. Steel rang on steel. No sooner was his first slash blocked than Clegane made another, but this time Lord Beric's shield got in the way, and wood chips flew from the force of the blow. Hard and fast the cuts came, from low and high, from right and left, and each one Dondarrion blocked. The flames swirled about his sword and left red and yellow ghosts to mark its passage. Each move Lord Beric made fanned them and made them burn the brighter, until it seemed as though the lightning lord stood within a cage of fire. "Is it wildfire?" Arya asked Gendry.
"No. This is different. This is . . ." -ASOS, Arya VI

but at the very end we see Sandor somehow win this "holy thing":

Smooth as summer silk, Lord Beric slid close to make an end of the man before him. The Hound gave a rasping scream, raised his sword in both hands and brought it crashing down with all his strength. Lord Beric blocked the cut easily . . .
"Noooooo," Arya shrieked.. . .
but the burning sword snapped in two, and the Hound's cold steel plowed into Lord Beric's flesh where his shoulder joined his neck and clove him clean down to the breastbone. The blood came rushing out in a hot black gush.
Sandor Clegane jerked backward, still burning. He ripped the remnants of his shield off and flung them away with a curse, then rolled in the dirt to smother the fire running along his arm. -ASOS, Arya VI

so he is set free by the Brotherhood, minus his gold (Fun Fact: The Brotherhood ends up with a good amount of gold from the Hand's Tourney).
What's Next?
When the Hound begins to follow them, some members want him dead but Thoros states that there must be some purpose left for Sandor.

Lord Beric shook his head. "Clegane won his life beneath the hollow hill. I will not rob him of it."
"My lord is wise," Thoros told the others. "Brothers, a trial by battle is a holy thing. You heard me ask R'hllor to take a hand, and you saw his fiery finger snap Lord Beric's sword, just as he was about to make an end of it. The Lord of Light is not yet done with Joffrey's Hound, it would seem." -ASOS, Arya VII

and I seem to think that similar to the show, the next step in Sandor's plotline (after Brother Ray (show) and Elder Brother (book series) is another encounter with the Brotherhood without Banners.

• The Brotherhood is likely using his helm to lure others into traps as we could potentially see with Lyle Crakehall. If interested: The (Strong)Boar & the "Hound" and:

• The Elder brother was the last person to see the Sandor alive as he tells Brienne (they also have his horse). After the Red Wedding, Lady Stoneheart and the BwB were hot on Arya/The Hound's trail before losing them (they find get his helm from Rorge). It is current unknown if Brienne has given this information to the Brotherhood/LSH or not but it definitely ties together the plotline. Random Thoughts

• With the identity of "The Hound" shifting from Sandor to Rorge and then Lem, it has created a Legacy Character
• The Hound wanted to sell Arya to Lysa but stopped due to weathebeasts/mountain clans. I am only half joking when I say maybe he would have changed his mind if he knew how much the Burned Men respected fire mutilation. If interested: The Vale Mountain Clans in TWoW
• While not "confirmed" the novice gravedigger on the Quiet Isle is likely Sandor. He is lame. That said the Elder Brother and Thoros are both noted "healers". We have also seen lame characters fight via horseback (ex: The Hedge Knight) although I am not sure this is necessary for his character arc.

TLDR: It is no secret that GRRM has been building up Sandor Clegane (formerly the Hound) and fire from the beginning. With him surviving his fight with a flaming sword (not wildfire) there is some potential "purpose" left for his life (Arya wouldn't end it for him either).

JEFFERSON CITY — Same tune, different players.
It only took a few minutes Monday for the Senate to return to a filibuster — this time led by Democrats.
With the state budget approved last week and the legislative session scheduled to end on Friday, Senate Republicans took up a resolution that would ask voters to make it more difficult to amend the Missouri Constitution.
The Senate resolution sponsored by Sen. Mary Elizabeth Coleman, R-Arnold, would require ballot initiatives to get a majority of votes statewide and in at least five of Missouri’s eight congressional districts.
That proposed change didn’t cause the filibuster. Democrats are standing up over language they consider to be “ballot candy” — provisions already in law that are designed to distract voters from the actual changes being proposed. The language states that non-citizens would be prohibited from voting in state elections and prohibits foreign entities from supporting ballot measures.
The Missouri Constitution and Secretary of State already prevent non-citizens from voting. It’s also illegal for foreign entities to support American elections at any level. Federal law supersedes state constitutions, so adjusting the Missouri constitution to ban foreign investment would have no effect.
Democrats want the language stripped so that voters will clearly understand the real changes being made to the constitution. They continued their filibuster past 9 p.m. Monday with no sign of stopping.
Three of five ballot initiatives to increase the threshold needed to pass initiative petitions have failed in other states over the last decade.
The bill has already been approved by the Senate once earlier in the session after a coalition of Republicans joined Democrats in supporting an amendment stripping the “ballot candy.”
It’s unclear whether something like that could happen again as the amendment’s sponsor Sen. Mike Cierpiot, R-Lee’s Summit, told the Missourian shortly after the vote that he wasn’t necessarily opposed to the ballot candy but wanted to get the bill done. The House then added the provisions back to the bill, forcing it back to the Senate for reconsideration.
When the bill was brought forward, Senate Minority Leader John Rizzo, D-Independence, offered a resolution asking the House to accept the initial Senate version of the bill or go to a conference committee where a group of Senators and House members can work it out.
Going forward, there are essentially four options:
*Rizzo’s proposition of a conference committee that would propose its own bill, which would need approval from the House and Senate afterward. That plan would also free up the Senate floor for discussion on other bills.
*Remove the “ballot candy,” which would need some Republican votes with the Democrats and require another vote in the House before passage.
*Move the previous question against Democrats, ending the debate and forcing a vote on Rizzo’s proposed amendment. The previous question is a rarely used tool where a majority of Senators can end a filibuster. Republicans outside of the Freedom Caucus and bill sponsor who have been the most outspoken on initiative petition reform have not broached the possibility of the previous question publicly.
*Lay the bill over and end session for the year. Now that the budget is passed the General Assembly is not required to take up any more bills and can adjourn.

Hello, I made a GBG game and would like to share it, but I for some reason decided to develop it on an account without Switch Online, and now I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer it to the account that does have it. Currently I'm thinking of getting an online free trial, publishing the game, have the account with online download it, make a copy of it, and release it when the trial ends, but can you help me figure out any better ways to do this, or let me know if that would even work?

Such is the state of our nation since the advent of Trump and MAGA. For centuries our politicians could debate (sometimes forcefully) and then come to a compromise. LBJ and Tip O'Neill had legendary battles on the senate floor, and then went out for drinks afterward.
But no more!
Now the thugs of MAGA have been aroused, supported and encouraged by Trump and the Republican members of the Houe of Representatives, and they brook no compromise. They pull out no stops, their threats of violence and even murder are commonplace, and once honest and ethical Republicans now quake at their threats and let their integrity slide into the cesspool of expediency.
If MAGA is producing the wanted results the GOP now happily closes its eyes to sedition, treason and terror -- ethics and patriotism be damned, the Constitution and Democracy be damned -- the End knows no allegiance to the Means; let cowardice and force prevail over voter rights and constitutional guarantees -- this is their dogma.
The Justice Department will arrest and convict these criminals, sentence them to long prison terms -- but will it be enough to stem the tide of fascism?

Attorney General Merrick Garland warned Monday of mounting violent threats against election workers across the country and vowed that the Justice Department will be “relentless” in prosecuting those who threaten the democratic process. Speaking to reporters ahead of a meeting of the department’s Election Threats Task Force, Garland cited a handful of cases over the past several years in which poll workers in Arizona, Michigan and Georgia — swing states in the presidential election — have faced death threats. In each instance, he said, federal prosecutors won convictions against the perpetrators and sentences of up to 3½ years in federal prison.
“Each of these cases should serve as a warning — if you threaten to harm or kill an election worker, volunteer or official, the Justice Department will find you and we will hold you accountable,” said Garland, flanked by Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and FBI Director Christopher A. Wray “The public servants who administer elections must be able to do their jobs without fearing for their safety or that of their family,” Garland said. “We will aggressively investigate and prosecute those who threaten election workers.”
Garland’s remarks, with just under six months until presidential Election Day, came amid heightened concerns that the nation’s bitter political partisanship could spark disruptions to polling sites, intimidation of voters and violent challenges to election results. A growing number of leading Republican officials, including presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, are refusing to say they would accept November’s election results.
Since its inception in June 2021, the Election Threats Task Force has brought 17 prosecutions, scoring 13 convictions, Justice Department officials said. Among those cases, prosecutors won a guilty plea from a man who said an election worker in Michigan deserved a knife to the throat, and a conviction of a man who threatened a mass shooting against election workers in Arizona. Justice officials emphasized that they are also monitoring emerging threats, including the use of artificial intelligence to spread disinformation and propagate threats behind technology that can mask the identities of perpetrators.

Starting today I've been unable to use TV because of this issue. It Started out working fine, but now anytime I zoom out or change my time frame to a higher one TV completely freezes to the point of needing to use task manager to close the app (or close the browser tab) before being able to re-open, but then I'm stuck with the same issue being zoomed in on the 1 minute after opening it back up. Everything seems to work as normal once re-opened, but as soon as you zoom out or scroll to far (left or right) everything locks up in an endless buffer. I am fairly new to TV. Only been using it for a few months. Is this a common issue or one that any of you have experienced and might have a possible fix/tips for?
Some extra info incase it helps:

• Internet and PC are working fine
• I am using a free version TV account
• I am using the demo supercharts and am using a propfrim (The propfirm live data is coming from tradovate and is working fine without issue on tradeovate)
• I have tried and have this issue both on google chrome and within the TV windows app
• I have also reloaded, logged out/in, and restarted my pc

Any help or knowledge on this issue would be greatly appreciated :)

In this subreddit I've seen my fair share of different roster predictions and whishlists, however I think many people downplay the importance that Super will have on the game. Whether you found Super good or bad as a series, it doesn't matter, because it is undeniable that it will be rightfully heavily pushed by this game for a variety of reasons, even at the expense of older fan favourite content from BT3.
The point of this post is to specifically highlight some Super characters that many people downplay when I think they have a fair chance at being playable in the base game; just like Bergamo, Kakunsa and Whis were downplayed by the majority of people before their inclusion.
Of course, from this list are excluded those characters and forms that are either already confirmed (like base Jiren) or that everybody take for granted (like GoD Toppo). Furthermore, I'm only considering characters and forms that appeared in the Super anime or in the Super movies, as I think that the manga characters/forms will unfortunately be off limits. Finally, I am not saying all of the following characters are going to be playable for sure, but don't be surprised when at least 1/2 will be.
Now, let's start in general order of appearance:
TAGOMA The most important of Frieza's henchmen during the anime RoF arc. I can very well see him making the cut just to cover that portion of the story effectively. If we can have lots of Frieza minions from the Namek saga, we can have at least one from RoF and he is the most logical pick.
JACO Another character that debuted during the RoF arc. Now, of course he actually debuted in the DB spinoff bearing his own name, but he became a staple of the DB canon thanks to RoF. Jaco, in my opinion, is more than just a crossover character, he is a DB one, and I think an important one at that. He warns the Z-fighters and helps them during the RoF arc, he was helpful during the U6 Tournament saga and he then returned with a blast during the Moro arc (without even mentioning some other cameos here and there).
CHAMPA While Beerus was a shoe-in, Champa is the second most likely GoD to become playable. He is important in at least two sagas, he cameoed before and after them, the fans love the guy and he has showed a lot of moveset options throughout the anime and manga. He was also already playable in other games, so he is a given for me.
VADOS The second most important angel. While we didn't see much of her fighting when compared to Whis, she still is quite important and especially popular. She is also playable in other games, so if they want they can make her happen.
BOTAMO The first U6 team member. He was a rather important character in two sagas, which would help the devs squeeze two story mode fights with a single character. He has also a unique mechanic that would make him a very fun character to play as. I honestly see no reason why he shouldn't be playable.
FROST FIRST FORM Frost is a shoe-in, or at least his Final Form is. I see many people forgetting his previous ones, but in his first appearance he sported a base form that I think has the potential to be here just for the fact of not wanting to have Frost starting out in his Final Form.
FROST THIRD FORM The same arguments made for Frost's First Form can be made here, as he fought against Goku with his Third Form and it is possible they would want to recreate the whole fight for the game story mode, or just to complete the Frost set. However, I agree that this has the lowest chances out of the three main ones.
MAGETTA The same arguments made for Botamo can be made for Magetta in my opinion, if not more so. Now, imagine if they implement a mechanic that gives superarmor to him, but the more he gets insulted the more it weakens. People still talk about the Devilmite Beam mechanic from BT3, imagine the videos that will be made about Magetta.
MONAKA The Mr Satan of DBS. He isn't an essential character but the same can be said of Mr Satan himself who is indeed confirmed to be playable. It would be nice to have him both for completing the U7 team from that arc and for the hilarity that would ensue.
CORRUPTED MERGED ZAMASU I've seen many people say that this particular version of Merged Zamasu won't or shouldn't be playable, however, this form was predominantly featured in the anime and it even already became playable before if I'm not mistaken, even before normal Zamasu himself. In my opinion, if we can have things like Mecha Frieza we should also get Corrupted Merged Zamasu.
ANDROID 18 (SUPER) I think there is still a possibility that A18 gets a Super variant like her brother. This version was recently added to Xenoverse 2, she fought quite a bit from the ToP onwards, enough to create new moveset and interactions, and, as confirmed by the official DB games IG account, A17's Z variant name is just "Android 17", so the fact that A18's Z variant name is just "Android 18" isn't an opposing factor here.
BELMOD Beerus is a must and Champa is highly probable, but the third most likely GoD is Belmod. He was highly involved in both the anime and the manga, even more than Sidra or Quitela, making him a prime candidate in the case they want more GoD representation.
MARCARITA Even less involved than Vados, but if Belmod is in and they want a third angel as well, Marcarita is surely the one to go, even if they would need to get a bit creative with her moves.
DR PAPARONI While everybody agree that Agnilasa will be playable, I think we shouldn't dismiss the mind behind the hulking titan himself. I can see Dr Paparoni acting like a mix between Babidi and Shin from BT3, in the sense of him using Borareta, Koitsukai and Pancea in his moveset, while also being able to transform into the fusion Agnilasa.
KOICEARETA The other half of Agnilasa. This is the initial mechanical fusion of Borareta, Koitsukai and Pancea, a strong one at that, who managed to hold its own against U7. I can see this character being in for the same reasons as Dr Paparoni would, but it probably has the lowest chance out of them three.
KATOPESTRA Despite him not being neither the last man standing of U3 nor their strongest member, he managed to carve a popular niche inside the fanbase. He still appears to this day in other games as playable or as an event, and with his mode change ability he would be very interesting gameplay-wise too.
GANOS BASE FORM U4 from the ToP is probably the trickiest (no pun intended) universe to choose a fighter from. I still think each universe will have at least one playable character in there and Ganos, the U4 leader, is probably where the money's at, being one that the fans happily remember.
GANOS TRUE FORM In the anime Ganos also sported a new form. With this, not only he has an interesting design, but he also fought in a memorable episode against Roshi. I find it impossible for the devs to add Ganos without both of his forms.
DAMOM Damom is the green bug from U4, one of the few ToP characters directly created by Toriyama and who was given extensive coverage in both the anime and the manga, managing to even score some big eliminations. He would be the perfect U4 pick if it wasn't for his miniscule size. If the developers manage to find a way to represent this fighter without issues then I can see him being in the base game.
CAWAY A U4 fighter that has not size issues and that wouldn't need at least two slots to be properly covered, one that is quite popular and that is playable in at least another game already. While I think that Ganos and Damom are the right picks for U4, I wouldn't be surprised if they go with Caway just because it is easier for them and more appealing to the fans.
MONNA Another U4 fighter that has not size issues and that wouldn't need at least two slots to be properly covered. While she is less popular than Caway, she fought more and she was well-received by fans thanks to her fight against Cabba that triggered his SSJ2 transformation. She could be a valid alternative to Caway.
MAJORA Very similar reasons to Monna. No size issues, no more than one slot needed, fought enough to create a valid moveset, his fight with Krillin was very well-received. Majora was also on the ToP intro, like Damom and Ganos but unlike Caway and Monna. I think he is less likely than the former ones I mentioned, but he is still a possible U4 representative.
KALE BASE FORM As it was with Frost, some people say that we won't or shouldn't get Kale's Base Form, but I disagree. Considering her transformations, it would feel so strange to leave out her standard look. Some people complain about her lack of moves, but she has showed some feats in Base Form, especially in the manga retelling of the ToP, and I am sure the devs can cook something out of it in order to have her default state in.
SAONEL The first of the two U6 Namekkians. He is advantaged by the fact of being a Namekkian and a U6 team member. He and Pirina were also the last fighters from U6 and they had a wonderful couple of episodes dedicated to them. His body is also similar to Piccolo's which may help the devs developing him.

OBNI U10 was probably the most forgettable universe from the ToP, with Obni, their last man standing, being the only exception as he showed a cool mechanic during an emotional fight. Since I am sure they want to represent all participating universes, Obni is the perfect pick for U10.
KAHSERAL The strategist of the Pride Troopers and the most likely one to become playable outside of the main three. He has a good combination of moves and he could also call the other U11 members for attacks. I think roster size and universes representation is what is really keeping him down.

With the wide agreement that the audience seems to have about the last episode being staged to help fulfill Tom’s redemption arch, what accountability do producers have to the audience and other cast members (like Ariana) to acknowledge their role in coordinating w abusive and unsafe people to manipulate the audience and the cast?
We reference production, but who are they specifically? If the show is going to be so heavily written and directed by them, why don’t we consider them cast members worthy of specific critique like we do the ones whose faces we are familiar with?
Is it time we treat production just like the other cast members who we consider worthy of examination and critique? Some say that if you choose to go on a reality show then your life is “fair game” for discussion. But if we consider the writers and producers part of a cast, just like any theater production, shouldn’t we critique them by name just as much? Especially if they make choices to redeem abusers?

I got extorted because of engaging a service that i havent met or does anything
Here's what happened:

1. I engaged with someone offering sex services on social media, I didn't know them or their family and i didnt meet up with the services provider.
2. The service provider, Person A, asked for payment, but the meeting got canceled, claiming hospitalization. Then Person A introduced Person B and person C, supposedly a family member.
3. Person B demanded money to protect their dignity, alleging Person A was underage. Despite trying to negotiate, they refused, insisting I had malicious intent.
4. Facing threats to file a report if I didn't pay for hospital bills and family matters, I decided to report the extortion to the police. However, there hasn't been much progress in the investigation since then.

Most of the convo i talked to is Person B claiming to be the brother. we managed to talk alot and he says he wont report me to the police and im not to sure what to feel. As firstly the Person B family kept saying they will report me if i dont pay bills and family affairs.
The convo stopped when i seeked help from friends and family.
Im abit nervous as what kind of charges i get.

I've been slowly buying giftcards and adding them to my account so I could eventually order a ps5 or a used macbook off amazon. This morning I finally had enough to go ahead with the order, and i did so.
However, about an hour after placing the order I got this email:
"We have canceled your order and voided the Amazon gift card balance used in the purchase.
We took these actions because you tried to use Amazon.com gift cards that are in violation of our terms and conditions. We cannot reissue the Amazon.com gift cards or reimburse you for these funds. Please note that if you purchased your Amazon gift card from a retailer, or obtained it from a third party, they won't be able to reissue the gift cards or reimburse you for these funds."

From some quick research, I realized i'd been flagged by the fraud detection algorithm of amazon. Luckily I had receipts of the giftcards in my email (from coinsbee and g2a) and immediately sent them to support with an explanation of my situation. i also wrote a similar email to [jeff@amazon.com](mailto:jeff@amazon.com) which I learned from this subreddit. ONE IMPORTANT THING: MY GIFTCARD BALANCE WAS IMMEDIATELY RESTORED, CONTRARY TO THE EMAIL.
A few hours later today, I started a live chat with an amazon CS rep and after a bunch of re directs i was told that I'd be cleared in 24-48 hours by their gift card team and would be free to re order the item. HOWEVER, in the midst of this live chat, i received an email that read as follows:
" Hello,
For your security, we canceled the following orders since we could not confirm your information:
-- Order number: -- Items in order: Video Games
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you still want the items, you will need to place a new order.

Account Specialist Amazon.com"

i asked the cs rep I was talking to that if the last part "if you still want the items, you will need to place a new order" meant that I could re order right now, without waiting for a reply from the gc team, and he said that'd be okay. Does this mean I can go ahead and place the order right now? I don't want to be permanently banned.

Free trade enhances the economic strength of countries, thus free trade should be a strategic asset in self-defense. Let’s be rich and safe together.
There are many reasons to have free trade agreements with countries that we don’t have a defense pact with but free trade with free nations should be a minimum standard. It’s not just the United States, of course, NATO allies don’t all have free trade agreements with fellow NATO members. So how about a North-Atlantic Trade Organization? You could call it NATO for short.
