Basically I've had my OnePlus 7 for a solid 5 years.
I am only now really noticing that the battery is running down. It's got quite a bit of wear & tear from the way I use it. The ring function doesn't stay on, which atm doesn't bother me too much as it's usually on silence anyways. It also fell down some flights of stairs (again) quite recently and the touchscreen is acting a bit off at times.
The thing that pleases me about the phone is that it isn't too large (vertically challenged person = small hands), easily connects to my other stuff. I am also quite pleased with the layout of things, and the system it operates on. Also it doesn't push me to buy all of it's stuff like apple and especially Samsung seems to be doing at this moment. I also quite fond of how weather proof and how "mere proof" (for lack of better words) this thing has proven to be. Yes, my phone took a diving lesson.
I use my phone quite a lot. I track locations, play games, take a ton of photo's, and also read a lot of papers.
Basically I'm looking for a solid all round phone. I'm not really willing to take on a larger phone. As it still needs to fit into my hand & pockets.q Does anyone have a better recommendation? And what are your thoughts on the models suggested?

I’m looking for an older ultra compact that allows shifting of the colour balance on RGB channels.
Most higher end models allow that, but I’m looking for something slim, small and pocketable.

The armies of Noxus have small elite groups among them that serves exclusively a specific high-ranking persons, one of them, at the orders of the grand general, Swain himself, was known as “the black capes”, composed by five members, one of them was Beatrice, known in all the empire for having the sharpest aim in the empire as a whole.
One day, the black capes were sended on a mission to solve a problem some foot soldiers were having in the Western border, some Demacian rangers were infiltrating Noxian territory and systematically taking out their patrols in crucial spots. furthermore, two Ranger-knights were part of this group, one of them being their chieftain, eliminating them would erase the danger the Demacian rangers represented for quite some time, and so, the black capes were mobilized to assassinate them, after all, Demacian rangers are not only formidable foes by themselves, but they also count with the help of their animal companions, making them even tougher opponents to deal with.
After analyzing the places where the Demacian rangers have striked, the Noxian soldiers were able to triangulate their position, a small forest in the middle of nowhere, the Demacian rangers were trying to have the highest advantage they could by fighting in terrain they had mastered, despite this, the Noxian soldiers went after them anyways, in less than half a day, all the available Noxian soldiers got the forest surrounded and the black capes went inside it.
While the black capes were exploring the forest, suddenly, something caught the attention of Beatrice's eye; a big, blue eagle, sitting on a branch. Beatrice could feel something was wrong with that bird, it was looking right at them, it was no coincidence and she soon realized it was one of those ranger's animals, she quickly pulled her bow, but before she could begin to take aim, the eagle flew away and emitted a loud shriek and, within seconds, a round of arrows came from the foliage towards them, despite the surprise, all members of the black capes could dodge them, but the others rangers jumped out of their hiding spot and attacked them, Beatrice fired skyward a special arrow that leaves a trail of red dust, that was the signal for all the other Noxian soldiers to charge towards them, even with the skills the rangers had, they could not defeat so many enemies.
The Demacian rangers started with the upper hand, attacking the black capes from all side, but that situation changed when the Noxian foot soldiers arrived, the amount of troops was overwhelming for the rangers and their solid formation quickly began to crumble with a single casualty, the rangers scatters, desperately trying to end up victorious in this battle, and Beatrice decided to climb up a tree to get a better sight range and hunt down the remaining rangers, from up there, she could see the same azurite eagle from before flying toward her, carrying a ranger with a crossbow on its talons, Beatrice attempted to shoot them down, but, despite her superb accuracy, that eagle managed to dodge all of her shoots and to jump to another branch when the ranger fired back, when Beatrice could finally fire again, she aimed directly for the ranger's hearth, but that was merely a feint, when the eagle got ready to dodge once more, Beatrice changed the trajectory of her shoot, firing an arrow that pierced through one of the eagle's wing, severely wounded, the eagle had no other option but to land, but before that, it flew over Beatrice and the ranger-knight jumped off the eagle to attack Beatrice hand-to-hand, despite not being her expertise, she was able to defend herself against that ranger-knight, while on the middle of the confrontation, suddenly, the ranger-knight whistled, and despite the injury, her eagle flew towards Beatrice once more and clawed her eyes, making Beatrice lose her balance and fall down the tree, hitting her head and falling unconscious.
Some days later, she finally woke up, but something was very wrong with her, she had her eyes wide open, she could feel that, and yet, she could not see anything. That blasted ranger's bird had scarred her eyes and blinded her. While Beatrice was still trying to figure out how to react to this, a nearby soldier informed her about the situation, they were in a carriage and were being escorted back to Noxus, they managed to defeat the Demacian rangers and kill seven out of the nine that were in that forest, but they also suffered a lot of casualties, including the other four members of the black capes. Beatrice was in shock, in a single day she had lost everything, her most powerful asset and all of her trusted companions, a mix of awful emotions started tormenting her, anger, sadness, resentment… She was unable to even articulate a word and suffered in silence until they arrived at the Noxian capital. A helpful soldier escorted her to the doctors where they confirmed Beatrice's worst fear: They were not able to cure her blindness.
After hearing that, she took a decisions, with the aid of the same soldier, she went to have a conversation with her gran general, Swain, when they arrived at his place, she was informed that Swain was already expecting her and she could pass, when Beatrice got inside his office, before being able to say a single word, she immediately fell on her knees and started apologizing for her current state while tears ran down her now useless eyes, after some time of time, Beatrice said she had one request for her grand general, for him to execute her, for she is unable to be of use to the empire of Noxus, now that her vision had been taken away.
After hearing that, Swain produced the first sound he made since Beatrice had entered his office, by sighting to that extreme request she was making, after that, he got up and walked towards her, slowly but firmly, when he was in front of her, he asked if she wished to still be of use for Noxus, Beatrice insisted that she could not do that in her stat, and to that, Swain answered by repeating the exact same question. Without even questioning what that use could be, Beatrice said she wishes to serve Noxus until the last of her days. After that affirmation, Swain placed his hand on her head. A very weirdly-shaped hand, it felt more… like a claw. Before being able to think about that for much, a strange and painful sensation went through all of Beatrice, like if a thunderstorm was happening inside her body, after that sensation stopped, she… could see again. Although overjoyed for a moment, she realized something was wrong… she was seeing herself. Swain explained he had integrated her in his flock of ravens, that their consciences are now linked and she could see through them, after that brief explanation, Swain asked this time if she still wishes to serve him. Still disoriented, Beatrice, while smiling, answered that that would be her greatest honor.

Hey there! Short disclaimer: English isn't my first language, errors may occur!
For context: I am currently in my first year of art school (comic department), and I wanted to hold a presentation about my all time favourite comic (which, as you may have guessed from the title, are the Sonic idw issues). Our teachers are pretty chill, the presentation is not mandatory, so I can have a little fun with it.
What I know: I have read pretty much (almost) all the sonic idw issues (I haven't read all spin-off mini series). I also read some issues from the archie comics! I looked up most of the artists and spend a few hours (I wish I was joking) starring at my favourite panels and analysing them. I have a basic understanding of how a comic is made (still a beginner tho).
The main point: I mainly want to talk about the process of how these comics are made. I know some basics, but I was wondering if there are any good articles or interviews you would recommend to check out. I also want to include some things from the archie comics and talk about the differences between the idw and archie comics (story writing, composition, inking, lettering, etc...). Even fun facts would be super helpful! At first I was planning to yap 2 hours about my favourite pages that have awesome inking, colouring and/or compositions. But I want this presentation to be atleast a little bit informative x'D
I honestly don't really know how/where to start since it's a pretty broad theme. Any help would be super appreciated! :D I know this wasn't super detailed, but I really don't know how to start this small project of mine :')

I was having a small cup of plain yogurt with a touch of honey on it for my own upset stomach after having to take antibiotics and she was sitting there hiccupping and licking the air and, in desperation I held out my spoon with a little yogurt on it and she licked it clean.
Her hiccups stopped! I looked it up and found a few recommendations that yogurt sweetened with honey was good for dogs and now it's become her go to medicine when she's got an upset tummy.

Hi there! I'm hoping you can give me some advice on managing my medical finances during these uncertain times. It's been a bit tough for me lately. I did some math and realized that my monthly auto-payments alone are coming to a whopping $640. On top of that, I still have two more bills to put on auto-payment for emergency room visits, which I estimate will cost me an additional $150. Plus, I have surgery scheduled for the fall, and I've been told that I need to pay $400 for a specialized medical assistant who will be helping during the procedure. I am not aware of any of the costs of what an excision surgery in Texas may look like.
I'm a single adult with no kids, and although I own my car and rent a room for $300 from a small family, I currently find myself struggling to make ends meet. My monthly expenses come to about $610, and after taxes, I make around $2300 per month. I'm trying to repair my credit, and I was considering getting a secured credit card to move a small payment there and pay it off every month. However, I don't have enough savings to cover unexpected expenses, like car repairs.
I wanted to know if it's worth tracking all my medical expenses to claim a tax deduction? Or would it just drive me mad?
Also, I'm curious to hear how others are managing their finances while dealing with this disease. Are there any frugal options out there that can help us?

No one cares but I’m just going to give my two cent until it gets deleted. I came to this sub like everyone else trying to improve my site and seek advice frm ppl who may have more success than me instead, got messages from ppl who eventually did scam me others attempting to. I’ve learned it’s a doggy dog world from this sub no one really wants to help they either wanna make fun of your site or try and take advantage of those who have no experience. I'm planning a Korea trip in the fall and really want to get clothes from some of the brands like 8 seconds and JustOne. I've gotten them online from Kooding (which is so much more expensive with shipping) but have a couple questions.

1. Where is the best place to go for these brands or shops with clothing like them?
2. I'm a US 0/xs, sometimes xxs but I know that the sizing there runs really small and heard sometimes shop owners won't let you try on clothing. I've also heard that they will straight up call you fat. How slim do they expect foreigners to be for that to not happen?
3. are there certain neighborhoods best for looking for clothing vs skincare products?

Hey reddit, I have a window of time off July 10-Aug 10 and I'm looking for recommendations of what section of the PCT to do during that time period. I might spend as little as 2 weeks or as many as 4, and I'm looking for the best experience possible taking into consideration the most beautiful terrain and views but also the CONDITIONS...I understand mosquitos in Oregon and snow in Washington could be a thing. I'd like to bust my ass some days, bask in swimming holes or hot springs other days...I know how to push myself but I'm not looking for pure suffering lol. What do you think?
PS. For context...
The longest backcountry I've done was only 3 days 2 nights. I took my time to do Half Dome pre-permit season (no crowds, yanking myself up the spine via-ferrata style). This was a perfect trip. Wonderful amount of challenge and rest. Best time I've ever had in my life.
The roughest/toughest day of hiking I've ever had (still great experience) was 20miles in ~10 hours, sans pack, but it involved gaining and losing 3000' of elevation, very steep ascent/descents, carrying my 60lb dog up multiple ladders, miscalculating how much water I needed, trudging through mud the entire time and little to no time to rest cuz cuz I was trying to avoid hiking in the dark. What I learned on this hike (other than don't underestimate the Adirondacks) was
a) hiking in wet conditions is 10x harder
b) i would rather do less of this kind of hiking

In terms of sheer power I’d choose the Reality Gem from Marvel. He could use it to wreak havoc on a scope and scale undreamed of. It would make Dante’s Inferno look like a picnic with Jan Brady.
In terms of what would be interesting I’d choose a combat drone from Iain Banks’ Culture universe. It’s a small but extremely powerful and intelligent robot that has any number of tools including missiles, knives, hacking, shields etc.

Hey guys its amateur hour and I tried to do something simple and it became a pain in the ass (as usual) and need some clarification.
Drilled two of these cheap mounting screws i found into some drywall and they just didnt anchor, fell right out. Only size bit i could fit snug into said holes was a 17/64. I want to use plastic drywall anchors in the existing holes now in hopes they anchor inside the wall, but cant seem to find a 17/64 anchor n screw set. Google and amazon just gives me #8 anchors as a result which by the looks of it are too small. What should i be using to solve this issue? Thanks any help appreciated.

Hello! This is my first time posting on here. I appreciate any and all feedback anyone can give me!
There's a little bit of context I want to give before I lay out the story, but it is all relevant:
My husband M35 (I will call him PK) and I F31 work at a private school together. He is the principal of the school and I am the secretary. Part of our salary is that we can live on campus in teacher housing. Our home is visible from the school and most of the school is aware that we live in the home.
Since I am the school's secretary, I can access the school's phone lines on my cell phone. So when I am away from my desk, I can answer calls, check messages, etc. It was after school today when my cell phone started to buzz. Someone was trying to call the school. I was already home and working on something, so I decided to let it go to voicemail – sometimes parents will call to let someone know that they are running late, etc, and I can just inform the afterschool teachers later.
The ringing eventually stopped and they left a voicemail. I checked the voicemail and it was a man's voice saying, "Hey, this is F*** You, B***. Principal PK I know where you live and––" and then it cuts off. I had to play it a few times to be certain of what I heard, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
I immediately call my husband (who is on a work trip) to tell him about this, and he didn't seem too concerned, but he did call our local Sheriff and they said they would patrol the area and were looking into the phone number who left the voicemail. I also informed our administrator, who was looking into the phone number, as well.
Does this sound like a real threat? My husband seems to think it's someone who is trolling and trying to freak people out. But the fact that he knew my husband's name and said that he knew where he lived was something that really freaked me out.
I'm not sure what to think. I'm just constantly watching outside for someone to show up. I don't want to freak out but I don't want to relax too much either. Any thoughts on this?
Just some notes:

1. The authorities were called and the phone number was given to them.
2. I searched the phone number on every reverse-caller ID website I could and the results were all people that we didn't know. I have a feeling this person used a spoofed cell phone number.
3. I can't leave my house because I have two dogs and no car.

TL/DR: My husband received a strange, threatening voicemail and I am wondering if it is a possible scam or something I should be legitimately be scared about.

I wanted to share my experience buying bras from Pepper so that hopefully others don't waste the money and can look for a more quality-controlled and honest brand.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
I first bought two XS non-pushup bras, and although the straps on one bra are shorter, adjusted they both still fit around my torso and shoulders comfortably.
However, the two 32A wireless pushup bras I ordered next had much less fabric around the torso so I had to buy extenders. I wore them out to work and realized how much the straps were digging into my shoulders (they were at max length), to the point where they were causing sharp pains in my shoulders and shoulder blades.
I explained this to support, and the response was that all the straps are the same length (not true), and that since I took the tag off already they can't do anything about it (also a lie- they had the opportunity to appreciate me pointing out multiple inconsistencies and refund me, but chose not to). And that bra was $65.
I'm very disappointed because I thought I had found the perfect cups for my small ones, but Pepper doesn't do right by the customer.

A couple of months ago when I got into a relationship I started looking more seriously into what could be causing me to be so tight.
I found out about vaginismus and it really fit everything that was going on with me.Since then I ordered dilators.At first all I could do was small but then gradually, 4 months later and after many attempts at PIV I'm now on large. I've been stuck on large for about a month, I felt that it was time to move up but XL only goes in a little and is painful after.I feel like I'm one step away from being able to have PIV.
Are there any in-between sizes or exercises I can do to help me move up to XL?

This has apparently been an ongoing issue at my job. I've noticed several dogs in the hospital and I doubt any of them were service dogs. We've had puppies, coughing/sick dogs, untrained dogs, a pit bull, dogs in heat, and today's dog - A DOG IN A BACKPACK CARRIER, WEARING A DRESS (think of those clear dome plastic backpack-carriers). That's right, a person carrying a tiny dog in a dress in the carrier. It looked scared to death. BUT at least it wasn't loose.
These are just the dogs I have encountered. From what I've heard from past discussions, I am not the only one who has these encounters.
Only one was supposed 'service dog' and I doubt that given the 'in training' Amazon vest. At least it wasn't disruptive.
Altho I have coworkers who agree with me that dogs shouldn't be present, I have been told the hospital is 'lenient' on dogs.
So now I'm wondering who to go to?? This is a certain nationwide hospital chain.

OK, I (probably) won’t. But I’m exasperated with people who don’t share the trails. Sometimes it’s a small group that insists on taking up the entire width of a 12 foot wide trail. Other times it’s people who ignore laws and let their dogs run off leash. I kind of expect a certain amount of this, but it’s becoming really common and happens MANY times on a typical ride. Recently people have started yelling at me when I shout “on your left” or “coming up,” and yesterday a group literally refused to move to one side of the trail. Even seeing more cyclists blocking the trail. I’ve been an avid cyclist for nearly 50 years and I’ve never seen it this bad.
