INTRODUCTION:
When Mary (and I) were planning our wedding, we sat down and decided we wanted a small overseas wedding because it would be easy to plan and execute. In doing this we would only need to invite our closest friends and family members, totaling to around 30. As was sat down and planned out our list over various nights, this list very quickly grew into the high 90’s and we realized, this was no small wedding. The reason we landed in the 90's is that every single person in this room has had a monumental impact on our life for better, so from the bottom of our hearts thank you for joining in this very special moment with us. There are those who we would have loved to have been here, who have recently passed like XXX and XXX, they are forever in our hearts and here in spirit.
Now for the few minutes, there will be a series of thanks to very important people to both myself and Mary – can you please ensure your glasses are full and ready to go!
Please be assured that if you aren’t mentioned by name, we have not forgotten you, you’re still very important to us; however, I can’t imagine anything worse for you all and myself than me being up here for 30 minutes, so without further ado.

Hey! Following scenario: a friends runs his own business, an old school printing company (familied owned in 4th generation). They dont have any online customers and arent looking for some. But they have 2 huge customers which are buying the same product with small detail changes all the time (similar to business cards).
We could setup a Shopify and add those products + a plugin for customization and the customers could do it themselves (which would be the favored solution). My question now:
Is there a plugin to have something like a login for the shop and depending if its customer a or customer b the user which logins can only see the corresponding (his products) and not the product of the other customer?
I could of course install 2 seperate Shopify shops, but I think there must be a smarter solution.

My 29m wife 28f and I have been married almost 4 years, together a little over 4 (married after 5 months).
She has had a friend (now 38m) that she was living with when we got together for around 8 or 9 years. They hung out a lot after we got together, but she always complained to me about him. She told me he was obsessed with her and things like that.
Almost 1 year after meeting her, with some advice from friends, I told her that she needed to block him and never see him again. She agreed and let me get on her phone and block his number and all of his socials. I also confronted him the next time I saw him and told him not to contact her. He told me he wouldn't.
Fast forward 3 years and we're expecting our first child. I've been going through our expenses and seeing where we can save a little because kids are expensive. When going through our cell phone bill and checking for any discounts through work, I started looking at usage details. There was a number with hundreds of outgoing calls a month and a few incoming calls over the past few years. I used a website to lookup the number and it was the "previous" friend. I looked more into the call history and saw that most of the calls were well over an hour, with the longest being over 7.
I know I shouldn't have, but last night I got on her phone and looked through her installed apps. On her snapchat I found him. They save their chats, so I looked back and saw that they chat all day every day and have a snap streak of over a year. Most of it is talking about their days and sharing stuff they find online, but some of it is about the baby and other health related stuff. They even shared the logins for their health apps (they use the same provider).
I don't know what to do. There's no indication that their sleeping together. I looked back as far as when the baby was conceived and he was apparently out of town for work half of that month.
Should I confront her or just keep tabs on the situation?
Tldr Wife has kept contact with a friend she said she wouldn't.
Edit to add Paternity is a concern. Once I know the baby's blood type, I'll know for sure. We have opposing blood types, so that will be a big indicator for me.

Hi liebe deutschebahn-Community, ich bin gerade echt ratlos nach über 1h Warteschleifen und erfolgslosen Telefonaten. Vielleicht weiß hier jemand weiter.
Ich hab ein altes Deutschlandticket, welches ich ursprünglich per SEPA-LSM bezahlt hab. Vor Kurzem wollte ich auf ein Jobticket umsteigen, jedoch meinte eine Mitarbeiterin am Telefon, dass noch Zahlungen vom alten Ticket offen sind. Dabei hab ich nicht schlecht gestaunt, da ich der Meinung war, dass die Einzugsermächtigung immer ordentlich funktioniert hat. Und sie hatte Recht. Tatsächlich sind die Monate Jan-April (Monat der Kündigung) noch offen. Jedoch wurde das SEPA-LSM scheinbar im letzten Dezember gekündigt von jemandem, der nicht ich ist. Im Moment hab ich eine SEPA Sperre und das Inkassounternehmen dahinter kann mir nichts dazu sagen, da es dazu noch kein Aktenzeichen gibt, welches erst von der Bahn beauftragt werden muss. Ich stecke praktisch fest zwischen der nichtvorhandenen Möglichkeit das Ganze nachzuzahlen, weil mir keine Details genannt werden (können) und dass die fehlenden Zahlungen noch nicht als Problem bei der Bahn anerkannt wurden.
Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich machen kann, oder an wen ich mich noch wenden kann? Hab bereits die Hotline für Jobticket, Deutschlandticket und das Inkassounternehmen abgeklappert.
TL;DR: Kann Zahlungen eines alten DTickets nicht nachbezahlen, weil Verbleib des SEPA-LSM unbekannt und keine Zahlungsinformationen vorhanden (hauptsächlich Verwendungszweck)

mir wurde gesagt hier kann man mir sicher helfen, denn meine suche nach den nächsten Buch stellt sich als schwer heraus. Oder meine Google Suchen sind schlecht. Oder ich bin nicht mehr so im Thema drinne. ICh habe die Scheibenwelt nun mehrfach durch, und brauche nun neues Material. Aber das finden fällt mir schwer. Früher nahm ich nur die Bücher aus der Bibliothek und las die. Aber leider lässt die Zeit bloßes ausprobieren nicht mehr so zu. Also bin ich hier. Zuletzt habe ich Rotfuss den Namen des Windes durch, und hätte mir mehr Details mit Felurian gewünscht. Eines meiner liebsten Bücher von amals war "die Steine der Wandlung" die Stelle mit den Hund prägte sich sein.
Nun suche ich das nächste Buch - oder noch besser die nächste Reihe - die da was bieten kann.
tl;dr: Gesucht werden Fantasy Bücher, High Fantasy, Gerne mit Verwandlungsthemen (Mensch - Tier, Fantasywesen, Geschlecht, alles mögliche. Auch gerne mit Erotic (egal ob Hetro oder nicht) Am besten auch bei audible verfügbar.
Deutch am besten, ich lerne noch, oder english.

Hello. I am currently working on implementing logging in functionality using django's built in session authentication system. I have managed to get it set up and working with a view like so:

All of this and still the same results. I also tried doing it on a different browser than firefox like microsoft edge, still same results. This is how the settings.py file (the fragment concerning cors and the session cookie) looks exactly:

Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone would be able to share some thoughts or advice on a situation we're currently facing.
We've travelled form UK to France for a period of 1 month to do a mix of work (wfh still luckily) and descovering new places. We've previously been to France many times and we love it!
Unfortunately, the situation occurs with the accommodation that we were staying in. On 2nd May 2024 we arrived at our accommodation and everything seemed to be nice and clean with no issues. We paid the accommodation - which is a business - trough bank transfer (also a written contract in place).
On 9th May we discovered some insect bites that were rather ugly looking on both our bodies and decided to further inspect the property. To our surprise we discovered bedbugs - for this I have photo evidence.
We have informed the owners of the apartment (they own several apartments in a building which appears to have been a hotel back in the day) and they firmly suggested they are happy to treat the room with some chemicals and cold water spray for the bedbugs to go away - they have done this promptly and also have replaced the bed frame and mattress.
Following day we discovered even more bites and decided to leave the property to mitigate the health&safety risk as well as the risk of carrying the bedbugs back to our property. They have provided a written statements upon my request detailing the day we have left and the reason.
We have found alteranitve accommodation, bagged all our belongings in bin bags and sealed them in order to take them to steaming/high temp drying to make sure there are no bedbugs left before checking in in the other property.
The initialy accommodaiton owners agreed to refund us but the remaining of our stay but are now deducting quite a lot of fees for cleaning/administration/etc which were not mentioned in the contract nor verbally when we checked in.
I have suggested that they should not only refund the remaining nights full, but should do for the full stay as we're now incurring quite a few extra costs for literally cleaning all our belongings (and we have a lot as we drove and are staying in France for 2+ months).
Do we have any legal stand here? I have researched online and can see that there is a possibility of a Small Claims Online for up to 5000 EUR but unsure how to proceed.
Do we just take the loss and accept whatever they want to refund us to minimise the hassle?

Ich brauche mal etwas Input, ob andere sowas erlebt haben und in wie weit ich mich hier selber hinterfragen sollte.
Drei Gespräche (GF/Gründer1, GF/Gründer2, HR-MA)
Lief alles meiner Meinung nach gut - offen, nett, wertschätzend. Gründer2 hat sich recht gerne selber reden gehört, hat viel über seine Karriere vorher als Dozent erzählt und darüber, dass er sich jetzt neuen Aufgaben in der Firma zuwendet, weil Prozesse und der Operationsbereich nun absolut super aufgestellt sind, etc.
Vielleicht noch zu erwähnen, die Stelle war hier als Kundenberate-manager bezeichnet, aber Account Executive, Account Manager o.ä. wäre eigentlich passender, aber egal - Beratung, Discovery, Stakeholdermanagement intern + extern, bis zum unterschriebenen Vertrag.
Dann noch eine Aufgabe, am Montag erhalten (3 Fragen zu praxisnahen Problemen aus dem Berufsalltag in der Firma). Natürlich nur subjektiv zu beantworten, da ich die internen Prozesse nicht kenne, aber in der Präsentation am Freitag gute Diskussion, für mich alles bekannte Themen.
HR hatte die Stelle mit 50-55K beziffert, ich hab 60K + 10-20% variabel genannt. Telefonanruf noch Freitagabend mit Angebot 60K+5K Zielbonus (also kein variabler umsatzabhängiger Bonus), aber erst nach Probezeit.
Hab mich bedankt und mir Bedenkzeit übers WE erbeten.
Ich fand ehrlich gesagt alles super bis hier her, fand das Gehalt auch absolut angemessen für die Stelle und die Firma, hatte schon wirklich Bock drauf. Nun habe ich bei meiner vorherigen Stelle mehr verdient (betriebsbedingte Kündigung nach 10 Jahren) und der Job danach (45+20 Split) macht keinen Spaß und ist ein absoluter Grind.
Nicht sofort einen Salto zu machen sondern es etwas sacken zu lassen fand ich auch ganz normal. Es denkt sich irgendwie nochmal anders darüber nach, wenn man quasi eine Zusage hat.
Am Montag habe ich dann wie verabredet GF1 angerufen (Rückmeldung zu Angebot). Ich wollte schon versuchen, ob nicht vielleicht durch Benefits (steuerfreie Sachbezug, Jobrad-Zulage, etc) noch etwas mehr drin ist und auch die Gestaltung der Zielvereinbarung etwas im Detail besprechen und außerdem, dass ich mich gerne in den nächsten Jahren noch weiterentwickeln möchte und das für mich ein wichtiger Faktor ist. Ich mag eben keinen Stillstand.
Das Gespräch ging super schnell zu sie wäre sich jetzt nicht mehr so sicher wegen meiner Motivation und sie bräuchten jemanden mit wirklich Bock etwas zu bewegen und sie müsste sich eventuell nochmal mit GF2 besprechen.
Hab dann nochmal meine Motivation zum Ausdruck gebracht und versucht das ganze noch etwas aufzulockern, dann aber gesagt dann läge der Ball wohl jetzt bei ihr und ich warte dann gerne auf die Rückmeldung.
Weil es mir keine Ruhe gelassen hat, habe ich dann später nochmal eine E-Mail geschickt, in der ich nochmal mein Interesse bekundet habe etc.
Am nächsten Abend irgendwann um 17:30 ruft mich dann GF2 an.
Man hätte ihm einen Zettel hingelegt zum Rückruf, ich hätte wohl angerufen und wolle Rückmeldung zur Absage.
Ich sag nein, mir wurde nicht abgesagt, ich warte nur auf Rückmeldung generell zum letzten Gespräch mit GF1.
Von da hat er dann mehr oder weniger leicht passiv aggressiv angefangen mir alles aufzuzählen, was an meiner Präsentation nicht gut war. Als wolle er mir das Gefühl geben, dass sie mir mit dem Angebot (über ihrem eigentlichen Budget) sehr entgegenbekommen wären und ich froh sein müsste, dass sie in Erwägung gezogen haben, mir einen Job anzubieten.
Schon sehr weird.
Nach der Beendigung des Gesprächs habe ich natürlich meine Herangehensweise schon sehr in Frage gestellt. Vielleicht hätte ich im Gespräch des Angebots zuerst klar machen müssen, dass ich dankbar bin und Bock drauf habe und nur noch ein paar Details klären wollte.
Aber vielleicht hab ich auch irgendwie Glück gehabt... was meint ihr? Schon mal ähnliches erlebt?

2024.05.15 09:46 creeprincee SOLUTION for Google Nest Protect can't connect to xfinity 2.5G wifi

Hey! I have been through it for the last couple of weeks trying to figure this out like many others. I reached out to xfinity tech support multiple times on all ends and was always given incorrect information. They couldn't seem to understand that the bands need to be on their own individual isolated channels, not supported up thru 2.4-6 G. On their end, they're not seeing that the bands are not individual like we see it in our Xfinity app. I think some of the confusion is that on the consumer side we don't know that band steering is being used, and we would like to have control over our own functionality rather than xfinity automating everything so we cannot change our settings. Or the devices should just be compatible. There is *no longer* a separate "NETWORK NAME - 2.4G / NETWORK NAME - 5G" different login setting. It's all the same network name and password you setup. Anyway, most of the advice I have seen in all the forums asking the same question was also not helpful to solve the issue. But! I figured out how to fix this finally and everything is up and running. I also had trouble during my initial gateway setup after starting service where the app was not working at all and the connection setup always failed. It was ultimately because the error notification kept saying "must use WPA3 password." I told the customer service specialist multiple times but they were going to send someone out because it wasn't working. The problem was that the security mode for the password type was not set correctly in the settings. I had to select WPA3 Personal Only, then I could proceed to change my password and continue with the setup to finally allow me to login and connect to the internet service/network and not just the router. If you're having issues during setup with your new service where your gateway modem is working and connected but you can't connect to the internet -- go into your app settings and make sure that the security mode you selected for login to your network is the one your device requires you to use (WPA2 or WPA3). I think this is because my devices are newer 2019+ apple and require the newer protocols. I'm going to try to make a video to explain it at some point to show. The problem with the smart devices that require the 2.4G band is a similar issue. (The problem isn't unique to Google Nest devices. It can be any 2.4G WPA2 device, like a Dyson smart device, a Ring door cam, Smart TV, etc). There are a few different steps you have to take:

  1. go to your xfinity app and do the following: wifi > wifi details > edit wifi settings > security mode: WPA3 - Personal Transition (NOT PERSONAL ONLY). This is necessary because the older smart devices that require the 2.4G IPv6 protocol will also require a WPA2 security protocol and cannot "see" or find WPA3 networks. When you select transition mode you allow the network and device to automatically communicate with one another based on which one they use, either WPA2 or WPA3. If it is set to WPA3 Only, then the WPA2 devices will not connect, and if set to WPA2 only, the WPA3 devices will not connect. Note that there is a toggle function that says "split bands" -- THIS DOES NOT WORK. It will automatically undo itself no matter how many times you toggle it on and select save. Don't worry about it.
  2. login to a web browser and type in 10.0.0.1 (from your home network. not remotely)
  3. under username and password type: username:admin / password: password. This is universal at first. Next you will change your password to whatever you want it to be. The username will always remain "admin." Note: the login is NOT your xfinity login info or your network login info.
  4. Select: connection > wifi . You will now see a page with the individual bands: 2.4G, 5G, and 6G. Select "edit" next to the 5G band and toggle "disable" > save settings. Do the same to disable the 6G band.
  5. Next go to: connection > status. You will notice that your 2.4 G band is now the only one "active" and the other two are disabled. You will also see that your security mode was changed to "WPA3 Personal transition" mode. You will notice an indicator count for what devices are connected to what band.
  6. Select the "firewall" dropdown from the lefthand menu. Select "IPv4" and change this security setting to "minimum security low." Save settings. Now select "IPv6" and change this setting to "custom." Make sure that no additional "Block _" boxes are checked. Save settings.

Now you should be able to find your network on your device and connect the device to wifi to finish your setup process! For me, I had to reset the Google Nest Smoke Detector following the reset settings. I also uninstalled the Google Nest app. I turned my phone off and back on. I reinstalled the Nest app. I did not have to uninstall and reinstall the Dyson app. My iPhone and Macbook automatically still joined the network no problem because the login info is the same due to the band steering. I just got a notification on my Macbook saying that the WPA3 protocol was changed and said ok. For my Dyson hot and cool air filter I was able to pair the device and the network finally showed up. I followed the settings in the app and now that the network knows the "MAC address of the device" it is stored in the network's memory and they can find and communicate with each other now. Same with the Google Nest. If it doesn't work right away just try another time and it should work.

Important: the reason they automatically merge the bands and steer them is because the 2.4G is more unstable. This is true. You might notice that the connectivity will drop out occasionally for the devices which could explain why it might take another try to finish your setup. Don't worry about it. It will reconnect on it's own.

Now that your smart devices are connected and setup is finished, and your network knows their MAC addresses, you can revert all the changes you made to your network settings to go back to full functionality (2.4G-6 and increase your firewall security standards back up to your desired level. You just follow the reverse order of what you just did. Keep the 2.4G as is of course, but select: "5G > edit" and toggle enable on. Do the same for 6G. Now all your bands are turned back on and you have full access again. Go back to "firewall" and change the IPV4 and IPV6 settings. You will see on the top menu bar in the right that your security is back to "medium."

Go back to "connection > status." You will notice that all your bands are now active. You can see the device count for how many devices are connected and to which band they are connected. This may drop in and out so don't worry if you don't see the correct total. Sometimes the nest will drop out but it will reconnect itself on it's own in a few minutes. You can verify this on your phone by: Going to the Nest app and seeing that your "Protect" or whatever device you setup is good. You can go to the Dyson app and see that it is connected and get your status updates. You can also go to the xfinity app and see what devices are connected to your network as you usually would. Again, this might drop in and out with the Google nest. But! all your settings are restored and all your devices are now fully functioning and connected to your network :) You also might get notifications from xfinity on your iPhone once the devices are finally successfully paired to your network. Cool!

Important note: you can also use the 10.0.0.1 admin tool to manually add a device's MAC address if, for some reason, you still can't get things to work. I thankfully didn't have to do this because I figured out the solution, but it was going to be my next attempt. Thankfully, the Dyson has the MAC address for the device printed on the inside of the device. However, Google Nest unfortunately does not do this and you have to already be connected in to the app to view the system info. However, you could do a workaround for that by taking your device someplace else and using their wifi (as long as it is 2.4 WPA2 IPV6) to connect and setup the device in the app in order to find the MAC address for the device in the settings in the Nest app. Then you can take the device back home to your network, reset, and try to manually add the MAC address now that you found it (hopefully you took a screenshot or something :) ) Thankfully I didn't have to do this either, but it also would have been my next attempt.

Also, make sure you keep your password settings that you changed in your xfinity app to WPA3 Transition Mode. It'll stay that way for both 2.4G and 5G. This is important because the devices still need to be able to communicate and can only use WPA2. Also if in the future you have this problem again with another product, like perhaps an older Smart TV, you will already have the WPA2 functionality enabled.

Hey! I have been through it for the last couple of weeks trying to figure this out like many others. I reached out to xfinity tech support multiple times on all ends and was always given incorrect information. They couldn't seem to understand that the bands need to be on their own individual isolated channels, not supported up thru 2.4-6 G. On their end, they're not seeing that the bands are not individual like we see it in our Xfinity app. I think some of the confusion is that on the consumer side we don't know that band steering is being used, and we would like to have control over our own functionality rather than xfinity automating everything so we cannot change our settings. Or the devices should just be compatible. There is *no longer* a separate "NETWORK NAME - 2.4G / NETWORK NAME - 5G" different login setting. It's all the same network name and password you setup. Anyway, most of the advice I have seen in all the forums asking the same question was also not helpful to solve the issue. But! I figured out how to fix this finally and everything is up and running. I also had trouble during my initial gateway setup after starting service where the app was not working at all and the connection setup always failed. It was ultimately because the error notification kept saying "must use WPA3 password." I told the customer service specialist multiple times but they were going to send someone out because it wasn't working. The problem was that the security mode for the password type was not set correctly in the settings. I had to select WPA3 Personal Only, then I could proceed to change my password and continue with the setup to finally allow me to login and connect to the internet service/network and not just the router. If you're having issues during setup with your new service where your gateway modem is working and connected but you can't connect to the internet -- go into your app settings and make sure that the security mode you selected for login to your network is the one your device requires you to use (WPA2 or WPA3). I think this is because my devices are newer 2019+ apple and require the newer protocols. I'm going to try to make a video to explain it at some point to show. The problem with the smart devices that require the 2.4G band is a similar issue. (The problem isn't unique to Google Nest devices. It can be any 2.4G WPA2 device, like a Dyson smart device, a Ring door cam, Smart TV, etc). There are a few different steps you have to take:

  1. go to your xfinity app and do the following: wifi > wifi details > edit wifi settings > security mode: WPA3 - Personal Transition (NOT PERSONAL ONLY). This is necessary because the older smart devices that require the 2.4G IPv6 protocol will also require a WPA2 security protocol and cannot "see" or find WPA3 networks. When you select transition mode you allow the network and device to automatically communicate with one another based on which one they use, either WPA2 or WPA3. If it is set to WPA3 Only, then the WPA2 devices will not connect, and if set to WPA2 only, the WPA3 devices will not connect. Note that there is a toggle function that says "split bands" -- THIS DOES NOT WORK. It will automatically undo itself no matter how many times you toggle it on and select save. Don't worry about it.
  2. login to a web browser and type in 10.0.0.1 (from your home network. not remotely)
  3. under username and password type: username:admin / password: password. This is universal at first. Next you will change your password to whatever you want it to be. The username will always remain "admin." Note: the login is NOT your xfinity login info or your network login info.
  4. Select: connection > wifi . You will now see a page with the individual bands: 2.4G, 5G, and 6G. Select "edit" next to the 5G band and toggle "disable" > save settings. Do the same to disable the 6G band.
  5. Next go to: connection > status. You will notice that your 2.4 G band is now the only one "active" and the other two are disabled. You will also see that your security mode was changed to "WPA3 Personal transition" mode. You will notice an indicator count for what devices are connected to what band.
  6. Select the "firewall" dropdown from the lefthand menu. Select "IPv4" and change this security setting to "minimum security low." Save settings. Now select "IPv6" and change this setting to "custom." Make sure that no additional "Block _" boxes are checked. Save settings.

Now you should be able to find your network on your device and connect the device to wifi to finish your setup process! For me, I had to reset the Google Nest Smoke Detector following the reset settings. I also uninstalled the Google Nest app. I turned my phone off and back on. I reinstalled the Nest app. I did not have to uninstall and reinstall the Dyson app. My iPhone and Macbook automatically still joined the network no problem because the login info is the same due to the band steering. I just got a notification on my Macbook saying that the WPA3 protocol was changed and said ok. For my Dyson hot and cool air filter I was able to pair the device and the network finally showed up. I followed the settings in the app and now that the network knows the "MAC address of the device" it is stored in the network's memory and they can find and communicate with each other now. Same with the Google Nest. If it doesn't work right away just try another time and it should work.

Important: the reason they automatically merge the bands and steer them is because the 2.4G is more unstable. This is true. You might notice that the connectivity will drop out occasionally for the devices which could explain why it might take another try to finish your setup. Don't worry about it. It will reconnect on it's own.

Now that your smart devices are connected and setup is finished, and your network knows their MAC addresses, you can revert all the changes you made to your network settings to go back to full functionality (2.4G-6 and increase your firewall security standards back up to your desired level. You just follow the reverse order of what you just did. Keep the 2.4G as is of course, but select: "5G > edit" and toggle enable on. Do the same for 6G. Now all your bands are turned back on and you have full access again. Go back to "firewall" and change the IPV4 and IPV6 settings. You will see on the top menu bar in the right that your security is back to "medium."

Go back to "connection > status." You will notice that all your bands are now active. You can see the device count for how many devices are connected and to which band they are connected. This may drop in and out so don't worry if you don't see the correct total. Sometimes the nest will drop out but it will reconnect itself on it's own in a few minutes. Bonjour,
I was wondering whether anyone would be able to share some thoughts or advice on a situation we're currently facing.
We've travelled form UK to France for a period of 1 month to do a mix of work (wfh still luckily) and descovering new places. We've previously been to France many times and we love it!
Unfortunately, the situation occurs with the accommodation that we were staying in. On 2nd May 2024 we arrived at our accommodation and everything seemed to be nice and clean with no issues. We paid the accommodation - which is a business - trough bank transfer (also a written contract in place).
On 9th May we discovered some insect bites that were rather ugly looking on both our bodies and decided to further inspect the property. To our surprise we discovered bedbugs - for this I have photo evidence.
We have informed the owners of the apartment (they own several apartments in a building which appears to have been a hotel back in the day) and they firmly suggested they are happy to treat the room with some chemicals and cold water spray for the bedbugs to go away - they have done this promptly and also have replaced the bed frame and mattress.
Following day we discovered even more bites and decided to leave the property to mitigate the health&safety risk as well as the risk of carrying the bedbugs back to our property. They have provided a written statements upon my request detailing the day we have left and the reason.
We have found alteranitve accommodation, bagged all our belongings in bin bags and sealed them in order to take them to steaming/high temp drying to make sure there are no bedbugs left before checking in in the other property.
The initialy accommodaiton owners agreed to refund us but the remaining of our stay but are now deducting quite a lot of fees for cleaning/administration/etc which were not mentioned in the contract nor verbally when we checked in.
I have suggested that they should not only refund the remaining nights full, but should do for the full stay as we're now incurring quite a few extra costs for literally cleaning all our belongings (and we have a lot as we drove and are staying in France for 2+ months).
Do we have any legal stand here? I have researched online and can see that there is a possibility of a Small Claims Online for up to 5000 EUR but unsure how to proceed.
Do we just take the loss and accept whatever they want to refund us to minimise the hassle?
