My subwoofer has recently started shutting off, at maybe 20% of its normal volume. It is moving less than a centimeter before it shuts off. As it is working the sub will hit louder one time and then shut off completely. I did note that when this happens I also see the lights on the amp flicker. Neither amp I tested goes into protect mode, I dont see any arcing, feel any heat or anything else out of the ordinary. Occasionally it will come back on while driving and then shut off again. Before the problem started late last week, this system was working without anything being changed since 2019.
I replaced the amplifier and the subwoofer with new units, one at a time. The problem persists with both equipment changes.
My question is this: For the experienced folks here, what else could be causing my issue?
I dont have a new head unit to test with, so I will have to buy one if I need to check that
I plan on taking off all of the grounds, cleaning them, and then reconnecting
I checked the battery voltage, it is at 14.3 while idling, and the battery was replaced over the winter.
Am I missing anything else that could be the culprit? Could an unrelated ground not connected to the stereo system cause an issue? Possibly RCA cables are failing?

I just beat the big green guy as 4th sin and I'm only over 2 hours into the game. But according to hltb, it says the game is 20 hours long.
There has to be more after the sins right? I'm also trying to finish the game before it leaves PS+ Extra on the 21st. Do you think its possible?

My pc has been intermittently having an issue where when I play certain games on my computer it will have a spasm and will start stuttering not only the video but also audio. For example in game my frames will drop from 200 to 20 the back to 200 multiple times a second. Once i quit the game it will sometimes keep occurring even without any background processes. I have tried many troubleshooting strategies and even spoken to multiple support companies and have gotten nowhere. I consider myself to be very good with computers but this has been happening intermittently for about a year now and I have no idea what to do. I have a rtx 3070, ryzen 7 3700x, all my games are on a samsung m.2, b450 tomohawk max motherboard. 16gb ddr4 ram at 3200mhz. For example Fallout 76 will run perfectly but when i try to run arena breakout: infinite it will start the stutter. There are a few other games that do this aswell. Sometimes a game doesn't even trigger it. The only way to get it to stop is to restart my pc. Any advice helps thanks!

Heyo. I've never really played Apex much. I have had a few games with friends around release, and I've played extremely infrequently since then because they weren't big fans of the game.
Came back because I kinda liked the idea of playing solos without having to worry about bringing a team down. I'm not great. I'd even argue I'm outright terrible. But after three games of solos, I'm not sure if matchmaking is just insane or not working.
I'm just a bit over level 20 in this game. Yet I was repeatedly killed by people 150+. I understand that level doesn't equate skill, and people could just smurf in a free game pretty easily. But being paired with people who have thousands of kills seems insane to me. It's probably a psychological thing. I imagine I'd still get wrecked by people my own skill level, anyway.
Is the matchmaking pool for solos so small that it can't fill a lobby with equally skilled players? Is it not working as intended? Or maybe it is working as intended, and the game doesn't understand that I might as well be a new player after not touching the game for a year (and barely touching it prior to that).
I have no idea. I don't remember it being this crazy when I played in the past.

How come some PS1 games run at higher FPS on Retroarch while others hover around 20 to 25 FPS? Is this variation due to differences in the games themselves, or are there settings I can tweak to improve performance? I'm not too familiar with Retroarch and prefer a plug-and-play approach, so any guidance on adjusting resolutions or cores would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for anyone who reads this and helps out! I am looking to get a projector with THE BEST picture quality and black levels possible under 3000$ (Screen Seperate), I will also be spending a lot of my time gaming on it (mostly medium paced story games). The screen size will be between 90-100" and I would prefer a UST but if it means better quality, a traditional lamp projector also works.
I was looking and ended up with either the formovie theatre or the epson 5050ub, not sure which one to get as they both seem really good and are appx. in the budget, another thing to consider is that I don't live in the usa so prices can be horrible, anywhere from 500-2000$ more expensive than somewhere like amazon or projector central. I am planning to use one of those services that have the products ship to their warehouse and then ship it internationally to your house. But would still say to keep atleast a 200-500$ overhead (not strict),
some other things I had questions about is that I will be sitting about 7-8 feet MAX away from the projected wall and was wondering if the projection might feel pixely or not that good because of sitting so close. (main reason to get a ust as I'll be able to easily adjust the image size accordinly if I have to go as low as 80" and also my celing is unmountable because of a false ceiling design and a fan in the middle covering the entire space where a projector would likely go. and I might take it with me if I go for vacation to relatives.)
so TLDR; need the best visuals projector for under about 3000$, ust preferred.
also any suggestions for a screen would be great! currently planning to get a grey ALR screen.

weird thing is other games are good around 20 to 30 ms but in chiv its above 200 not only for me but few tothers in game as well any update broke this .
also after auto balance fix lobby are always around 20 players before that i was put in 64player

I was looking into handheld PCs as a way to game on the go, but I already have a switch. Then I looked at my laptop (a 2015 MacBook Air) and decided it could use an upgrade. As someone in the apple ecosystem, it seems difficult to switch out of it (l have an iPhone, a basic iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods, however i do have a surface 7 pro that I really like using for school), and move onto a windows laptop that can actually game (apart from low settings Minecraft on my current laptop).
People complain about their phones and computers not syncing well if their two different OS, which I understand… but my computer is so old that it struggles to do anything with my newer iPhone, so this isn’t a big concern for me. Especially since I already have a surface 7 tablet.
I’ll mainly be playing multiplayer games, and AAA titles on this new laptop.
So my questions are: People who have switched, are you enjoying the windows laptops better? Any recommendations for a gaming laptop that can handle light schoolwork applications (mainly graphing and analytics tools) sub $1500? Should I stick with Apple and get something like a steam deck for gaming?

2024.05.14 22:36 PyroKinese Almost a week left! Id like to share my initial team comp & reasons for why i picked them based on all the info i got from since CBT2. id like to hear your opinions/idea's or your own team comps.
My First Team
Main DPS: Rover
Sub-DPS: Sanhua
Support: Verina
I intend to use this team comp for hologram & also as one of the teams for tower of adversity since both Rover & Sanhua Skills have AOE damage capabilites + Echo AOE damage.
Sanhua is my fav character & i wanted to main her from day one, but ive come to the conclusion as for my team the best way forward is just going with another DPS like Rover instead of a Sub-DPS buffer to buff Sanhua. part of the reason for this is due to Sanhua's Skill CD (Resonance Skill) which is 10 seconds & her highest basic attack damage multiplier being behind the 5th basic attack in the attack chain which can be annoying to pull of successfully/constantly during intensive boss fights when you have to dodge or parry causing the attack chain to be interrupted. Most of her damage comes from her Resonance Skill & Resonance Liberation anyway.
Why use Rover instead of a Buffer like Mortefi, Taoqi, Jianxin? or DPS like Lingyang??
been saying this since CBT2, she's the fastest buffer in the entire game with her inherent skill buff 20% attack. she already is fast at concerto energy build up + the game (CBT2) had a weapon with a passive that can give additional concerto energy when using a resonance skill which can reduce her onfield time even further when you need to proc her outro skill for the "15% all damage" buff. so i just rather have her now than later.
im gonna get yinlin only if i can secure enough pulls for Jhinsi & hopefully (Pls kuro) Jhinsi will be an actual compatible team mate for Sanhua which then ill replace with Rover. when i can for my 2nd team i hope to build one around Chixia. funny how the 4 Star's are just too damn interesting ^^

- To my knowledge most support character's take too much onfield time (apart from verina) to generate Concerto Energy. there were some 4 star weapons that does give additional concerto energy but how helpful this is im not sure + the damage loss/gain impact it would have but more importantly you need to get it first to be able to use it.
- Rover taking onfield time to generate Concerto Energy is worth it (imo) since he/she does very good damage and generally has a fast uptime on Intro/Outro & has a 6 Second Skill CD & an AOE Ultimate (A true 5 Star MC imo)
- Sanhua's Intro Skill is a direct self buff (Inherent Skill) for her Resonance Skill, so needs someone onfield to gather concerto energy & Trigger Intro/outro before swapping into Sanhua for max damage.
- Rover's Outro Skill effect "Time Stop" will help even if in the slightest to succesfully break the ice Sanhua's skill creates close to the enemy for extra damage. (bosses move around alot)
- No Lingyang cause Im picking Verina for my first 5 Star (some other time buddy)

Im a 1991 baby and the world is much different now. But within the past 15 years seems like the media has a strong presence of demonic ideology. Like Hip hop/pop constantly talkin bout "demon time" or you see a lot of witches and witch craft in the music videos, rock has been like that like since it started lol but just got that whole fire and underworld theme,
Anime at least the ones i used to watch, the popular ones got some type of demon stuff goin on from Naruto, Black Clover, Demon Slayer. (In all three of the series they befriending the demons,in DS bruh sister a demon) But even like the fictional scary movies and shows like the new Candyman or Abigail got that super demonic vibe , Van Helsing and the Originals, had to stop watching those, thought they were gonna be more innocent like Twilight, siiikkkeee The cool looking phone games and platform games like Hades, demon souls, or devil may cry (i used to be scared to play devil may cry as a kid) every lil RPG game got a demon in it
I recently gave my life back to CHRIST and my eyes opened up to how desensitized "demons" have become to the world well at least in America. And nowadays i hear kids talking bout demons like they pets or pokemons or somethin, like whats goin on its gettin normalized. Do ppl understand what a demon is and/or its purpose or what it represents smh, They're here to "kill, steal, and destroy" but i bet a non-believer will say they dont exist, but they do and its a big spiritual warfare going on, this why you see the virtues of this country(US) digressing every year, we done fell far from being a Nation under GOD

So I'm on Youtube watching something about Christians studies then an ad pops up for a perfume i guess called Alien or something but the chick aint look like n alien she looked like some sexy dbz thot from the hood demon chick wit long crazy purple nails, crazy purple hair n eyes , theres purple lightning everywhere, made me laugh like what the heck lol that caught me off guard, (example of spiritual warfare devil knows thots used to be my weakness) but this seems to be the new Theme of the world everything just demonish, oh yea forgot this was a question, but why is this?

Marvel Snap has 272 cards at the moment, and 20 deck slots. That means it would take 240 cards to make 20 decks, and that means that you could, theoretically, make those 20 decks without ever using the same card twice. My goal is to make all 20 decks, play at least 20 games with each, and come back with the results, but I've run into a bit of a wall. Marvel Snap may have 272 cards, but I only have 256 of them, and I was hoping you all could help me finish despite my gaps. I am able to make 18 decks using what I have or will have in the next few weeks, but I realized I couldn't make a competent Mill deck without Zemo or a competent Lockdown deck without War Machine.
Using only these cards, can you help me make two more decks?
Aero, Cable, Captain America, Crossbones, Cull Obsidian, Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, Gladiator, Goose, Iceman, Jeff!, Juggernaut, Kingpin, Kraven, Legion, Lizard, M'Baku, Magneto, Maximus, Mister Fantastic, Namor, Orka, Polaris, Professor X, Red Hulk, Rogue, Silk, Skaar, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man, Stegron, Storm, Titania, Vision, Warpath, Werewolf by Night, Yondu

Hey everyone, normally I wouldn't be the one asking this question. Southwest just changed my flight, I had a reasonable flight leaving MCO at 12:40 and was going to be a total duration of 5 hrs 20 min, of which there was a one hr layover. The flight times look completely different than before, now there is a 10:10 flight with a duration of 5 hr 30 min OR the flights that leave after 2:00 are all 9+ hr durations. Is 10:10 too early for a flight, I think I know the answer but I really don't want to get home this late.

Hello everyone, I've recently found my self asking this question? I'm in the USA and live in California. Where the norm to tip is 15-20% Recently ive discovered more and more restaurants have automatic service. I found my self at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. For those unfamiliar, it's when sushi comes to your table on a small plate delivered by a conveyor belt, and the order is placed on an iPad. So other than being shown to our table and drinks being brought, we had no interaction with the server. The problem is that things like this are becoming more common. For example, I was at a Korean barbecue place where they delivered my meat with a robot. I fear with AI that it's going to get worse. So My question is what percentage do I tip at places with automated service? So far I've been doing about 10%.

TL,DR: I really like the way monsters use Fate but I think the player options are a little weak in compared, and I'd like to see some player Fate options that are a little more exciting than a bonus to a roll.
I'm going to preface this by saying I love the Fated Actions of the enemies, I think they're a really cool and interesting spin on regular Legendary Actions, gaining a boon by expending a resource which the players then get access to and can give back in return for a boon themselves. Way more dynamic and interactive than the usual "I pass your save, eat a dick".
All that said, Fate seems pretty DM-weighted. A bonus to an attack roll or saving throw is fine for the players but when the bad guys are using Fate to summon two more bad guys, +3 to your attack roll doesn't quite stack up, even if it does turn a miss into a hit. I suspect each PC will eventually get a Fate ability, or they will get access to them through Mark's Relic system, so this inadequacy will be addressed but if not, here's my two cents.
I think a bonus to attacks and saves isn't exciting enough and the "DM bargain" aspect isn't well defined enough - Mark can just straight up say no, and if I'm not wrong I believe that has happened already. My solution is more Fated Actions for the players.
Fated Resistance - When you are forced to make a Saving Throw but before you roll, spend two (or three?) Fate to automatically succeed.
Fated Action - Spend one Fate to move up to your speed as a reaction at any time.
Gambler's Fate - Spend one Fate to expand the Critical Range of your next attack roll to 18, 19 or 20.
Fated Attack - When you take the Attack Action, spend one Fate (or two?) to make an additional attack.
Alternative Fated Attack - When you make a weapon attack with advantage as part of the Attack Action, you may spend one Fate and forego the Advantage for an additional attack.
Right now Mark is kind of pushing the players to use their Fate by creating monsters that can steal Fate if they don't spend it, but that feels a little wrong to me. There should be a real risk/reward to using or preserving Fate rather than using Fate just to avoid losing it, but right now the boons players get from Fate are almost negligible and the monsters can steal it from them anyway. I think, if the Fated bonuses players had were good enough, you wouldn't need to steal Fate from them because they'd use it even if they knew the enemies had something good to use it on as well, and if the players tactically retain Fate to deny the enemy their Fated Actions, that coordination should be rewarded. Just my two cents, but hey, tell me what you think, if you have better ideas for Fated Actions, hit me with them, I'm going to try implementing a more defined system like this in one of my games soon and I'm happy to hear your thoughts.

-New Engine with many new features (DX12 support, FSR, Next Gen Consoles, DLSS TBA)
-New Map with new biome to show the power of the new engine
-New SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE.
I'm telling this because many people only speaks about "where is the new engine", when the most important question is HOW is all that going to happen.
If you migrate a simple website with some GB of webmail data, is already a little pain in the ass and many things can go wrong, imagine if you are going not just to "migrate" a game, with all the users data pool, but you are going to INSTALL a new engine in a new SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE. So, some logical questions are:
-How many time would you need to make a decent QA with the new engine at that new Data Center?
-Are you going to migrate the actual game with the actual data first to test all the IT issues that are implied in that step? or are you going to fresh install the new engine and then release to production so a QA process begin?
In any case, I see that the new server infrastructure could be the most important test because it carries a lot of weight in time and QA processes. Now, add to that, the testing with the new engine, new map, all the previous content translated into the new lighting, textures and such variety of new stuff that will render differently.
All this just so say: why the f... they haven't put in motion a PR strategy to keep all the super excited and passionate fan base informed about the time lines?, sothey can comunicate about the importance and not little difficulties this fundamental and maybe, the most important inflection point in the franchise, carries by itself, and with that, generating some awareness towards this crazy community (also taking notice that devs them selves were the ones who let the dates roll like crazy dice on a rooten table of Lower de Salle).
