I have around 30,000 dollars of credit card debt.
One of my debts is being payed down but they are raising the amount I owe next month... which I am worried about. They issued a lawsuit against me....
So I have other creditors mostly credit cards and now I have another notice from the same company above (MIDLAND) that sent me a pre- legal notification. ..
this debt has been sold at least twice before but I haven't been able to act on much of any of my debt due to crippling health injuries. (Long term Covid / brain fog, hospitalization etc).
I am feeling a bit better to deal with this matter but I know I am deep in the hole.
SO for this one creditor... should I bother sending them a letter asking for more information. I know where the debt originally came from but I am concerned about how many times it has bounced around . Is it worth it sending them a letter requiring them to give me this information?
The other issue... I am honestly unable to pay off the entire amounts. I can maybe pay $10 dollars a month on this particular card .. (which is is around 3,000 dollars).
I had a tough time negotiating with Midland once the lawsuit on the other card occured. .. but I cannot reasonably afford another $100 dollars a month on this debt.. as of now.
I have lost a few years since the pandemic and have struggled to get back on my feet. Things have just not lined up the way I had hoped they would and now with inflation I can barely afford food.
Recommendations? Tips.

I've been on a sampling kick the past few months and tried a bunch of new things, even dragging my wife into it. I've placed small orders from a few different decant stores to try things out. It's been a fun journey and I've been learning a lot.
I was looking for something to replace Aventus for me, since I got a bad batch--I mean just awful, not just a small batch variation, but an unwearable powder bomb that didn't even smell like any of the popular notes like pineapple or smoke. Normally I support buying originals, but I refuse to pay Creed those prices if they don't use the money for better quality control and higher consistency standards. I tried but didn't like Club de Nuit, that opening is terrible and smells like cleaner, although it is nice later on. I tried a sample of Pineapple Vintage Intense and really liked it, on its own merits even though it is a clone. Parfums Vintage has a better pineapple note than Aventus in my opinion, though there are also things I prefer in Aventus.
So I placed an order with them directly to try four of their variations and see what I like most. I like that they have started from a clone and made it their own in various ways, although the selection is a bit overwhelming to navigate. My order arrived in a beautiful branded box made of really nice materials, with a wrap around sleeve. Inside are four beautifully printed and embossed cards with each sample, and even a 5th sample I didn't order was included for free. The sample bottles themselves are high quality glass with nice labels and metal caps. I have yet to test the atomizers, but they are not screw-on and I can see a bit of plumber's tape on one so I bet they are pressurized.
They all smell great so far (sniffing the atomizers) but I won't know until I try them each how good they are. I was very impressed with the PVI, so I think they will be great.
I know what matter most is the fragrance, and so far I think they are doing a great job there, even if their formulas are unoriginal. But the packaging and presentation blew me away for a handful of affordable samples. I haven't seen anything like this from other sample or decant stores, it left me a really good first impression. I hope to see them do more and more originals and could see them emerging as a unique niche brand of their own and not just a clone brand. If they take their "inspired by" fragrances this seriously, I am impressed and think they will go far as they introduce more of their own originals.

"Wolves have formally submitted a resolution to the Premier League to trigger a vote at the league's AGM in June, on the removal of VAR from the start of the 2024/25 season.
The introduction of VAR in 2019/20 was a decision made in good faith and with the best interests of football and the Premier League at its heart. However, it has led to numerous unintended negative consequences that are damaging the relationship between fans and football, and undermining the value of the Premier League brand, which include:
• Impact on goal celebrations and the spontaneous passion that makes football special.
• Frustration and confusion inside stadiums due to lengthy VAR checks and poor communication.
•A more hostile atmosphere with protests, booing of the Premier League anthem and chants against VAR.

So my story starts from when my wife's '17 Forester was starting to reach 60K miles and needed to do the big 60k maintenance service. We have taken this car into the dealer for it's services since we bought it. The price vs convenience was not bad and they gave us several free oil changes throughout the years so we kept going back. So, back to the 60K maintenance service. The service was quoted to us for $1200. I could see that I could do most of it myself. We just got new tires 2 months ago so that part of checking the tires and rotating them was out. I did the oil/filter, cabin air filter, engine air filter, spark plugs, and checked all the fluids and refilled as needed. Granted I didn't replace the brake fluids but it still looked ok to me. the big things such as the front and rear differential oil change, i haven't done it yet since I've never done it for a Subaru. Reading up on it, not any different from other diff oil changes, which I've done before. CVT fluid replacement, well, everyone says to leave this to Subaru, so I will leave it to them.
been busy so i haven't had a chance to take the car in to do the "leave it to Subaru" parts. I just received a letter from the dealer service dept to give them a call "regarding the continuation of protection for [my] Subaru that [I] serviced with [them]." So based on the in-service date of my vehicle and mileage, which i think is pretty low for a '17 (60K so far) they recommend me to give them a call and obtain a Vehicle Service Contract to protect against financial cost of mechanical and electrical repairs.
I feel like we don't need this as we do maintenance on it on a regular basis and for my car, which we bought new as well (same dealer) they never reached out to give me this 'offer'. my car is even lower mileage for it's year. '12 mazda3 with 72k miles. no issues.

I’ve been doing Rover since November and as of recent multiple potential clients are trying to negotiate pricing at the meet and greet. I just met with a client who asked what my nightly rate is. I said $55. She then said she would pay me $50 cash instead for each night. I’m so confused why clients try to tell me what I should be charging when they see my rates clear as day listed on my rover profile when they reach out. So frustrating.

The title pretty much says it all. I'm wondering if there are any agency owners who targets local businesses, and would be interested in a profit sharing collaboration with us.

I know there are many similar competitors in the market, but our biggest value propositions are:

(2) Lower pricing - Although it's a recurring subscription, our pricing starts at $3.99/month when our competitors maintain at least $40 per card. The lower price definitely helps us to convert more sales, and I was surprised to learn how much of customers were willing to pay monthly than a big lumpsum money.

Anyways, we've been doing some great sales figures with 4~15x ROAS on Meta & Google Ads. And we've been getting approached by marketing agencies and restaurant consulting firms(?) for reselling partnerships.
We've had some good success with the agency partnership for a while, and I wanted to see if this structure is something I can scale here on Reddit.
The standard profit sharing rate we've been implementing is 30%, and we are also sharing the recurring profit for eternity, unless the client cancels the subscription. I am very happy & open to negotiate a more favorable rate, depending on client volume, etc.

I plan on buying a new construction this summer in a subdivision where there are a slew of home builders (so the ones with model homes/sales people) with quick move ins
when i bought my current house, it was also a new construction but it wasn't made by a big box builder and i just clicked on "i want a tour via redfin" and just used whoever the agent assigned to it was. my experience was n't bad or great but i ended up getting the home slightly less than the listing price....
does the commission model work the same way with big builders? or is it a "your mileage may vary" type situation? I'm assuming if i use a real estate agent they (builder) will pay the commission? who pays the sales person?
could i automatically get a better deal doing it alone OR is that going to be dependent on my negotiating skills?
FWIW, i do think ill use a real estate agent mainly because ill be brand new to the city and they will have connections/relationships that we'd leverage (like inspectors)

I received a warranty extension letter for the intake line / partial-load ventilation valve.
My check engine light came on 1 year ago and I barely made it off the highway in severe weather. On April 19th 2023, my mechanic knew the exact issue, as he had already replaced tons of these valves on my model, and said it is an extremely common issue.
My repair was for Crankcase Vent Valve / PVC Valve for $1835 here in Calgary.
My vehicle falls within the guidelines for this warranty extension. I called the dealership to confirm with the parts department that this was the same part, thy said yes, talk to service. Service department at Lone star Mercedes wanted nothing to do with me. I called mercedes benz canada, the customer service representative had nothing other than the scripted sorry you're out of luck. I demanded to talk to a supervisor and the supervisor said that I could have called for Mercedes roadside assistance if I wasn’t able to go to a dealership for my repairs. I told him my car was not under warranty at that time so I would not have paid for absurdly priced roadside assistance or taken it to Mercedes regardless. He proceeded to tell me his hands are tied multiple times and will not recognize the validity of another mechanic’s diagnosis/repair. I did speak to a lawyer who said theres isnt much he could do for me. But suggested I find some other people in the same situation as me and use social media, google reviews, write a letter or email directly to Mercedes, in hopes of stirring up some negative attention.

I have had a sample of Grand Soir for a few months. So sweet, one of my favorite vanilla frags. Some people get grandma vibes from it but I wear what I think smells good so idc. Love it, lasts FOREVER. But the $375 price tag on grand Soir is just crazy, and I most likely won’t be buying a full sized bottle ever…
because UNN Sugar Leather is honestly better imo. $117 for a 50ml is way more in my price range, the opening is very very similar with the same sweet vanilla from grand Soir, but the leather notes after are very subtle and switch it up from the grandma vibes you might get from Grand Soir. It’s like if you took TF Ombre Leather’s dry down, and mixed it with Grand Soir’s opening (and a little bit of the almond from Guerlain’s L’homme Ideal EDP although I might be tripping about this part).

I'm curious if any of you have recently bought a new vehicle from a dealership in the area and had any luck with negotiating the price. I know for a while during covid the best most people seemed to get was just buying at MSRP.
