Hey all,
Does anyone have an idea if the following problem is network or PC related?
During team fights, my game slows down, almost like slow motion for a few seconds, and then suddenly it runs at 5x speed back up to date again. Happened for the entire game with Nova so obviously I missed every single shot.
I'm running a RTX4090 and 7900X so I don't see how this could be due to PC issues.
Does internet lag cause this sort of effect?

I decided to get an overview of average discussions and questions asked in kenya and nairobi, 99% are about relationships, sex, and gender wars. Nothing constructive. Nothing educative. Nothing.
I realized this a while ago when I needed suggestions/different perspectives from strangers (to eliminate the element of biased views from friends and family). What would be a better platform to get that other than reddit? None, I thought. Unfortunately, I had to let that slide after going through previous posts on our two subs which told me 'hapa hutapata jibu, most people here are jokers, content thieves from twitter so originality is not guaranteed, and you are likely to encounter unwarranted rudeness.' Epuka hayo.
Before judging us Kenyans, I decided to reconn uganda and tanzania and I noted a very huge difference in their discussions. For a moment I wished to be among them, but I am stuck with you guys.
Scrolling down to posts as far as four days ago, I encountered only one relationship post on tanzania and it was asking if dating sites in that country are functional. I encountered none of that genre in uganda. Other posts are about politics (very few actually), investing advice, travelling, INTERNET OUTAGE UPDATE (I put it in caps coz there is nothing like that in our subs na we were all affected), budget suggestions, etc.
They also have tags to show that a question asked need only serious people to engage, and they engage. But here, we only share vibes and inshallah. Nani alituroga?

So someone called me using a mobile number. The agent was telling me about the BPI and Robinsons merger and telling me stuff about a new card, I think? Then she asked for my birth date. She didn’t ask naman for my cc details. Just the birth date. Then she proceeded to tell me about points from the Savings account and setting up a GoTyme account as well. So is this a scam or not? 🥲

So Ive had a problem since Sunday (I think) where my drivers crash, and then it cascades into everything. Streamlabs, Destiny, then discord goes down too. Ive updated the drivers, still did it, downgraded to two previous versions to see if that would help but I still get the same series of errors. I started logging everything going on, so Ill post what it gave me in here if that helps anyone. Im a little bit desperate at the moment simply because this PC is one of my few sources of income at the moment, so I hope it can be fixed. Tried multiple places, even the AMD forums, but it goes flagged as spam for some reason by them. Thank you all in advance.

Listen to the soft and the technical skills that are demanded in the setting of target roles or the industry.
• Locate the Gaps and Use Self-assessment and compares it with the skills that are required for a job through research. Search for places where one is not able to meet the expectations or where he/she does not have that particular skill or experience. These gaps show the areas of improvement and help in the formation of new skills.
• Carry out the task of identifying and analyzing the main gaps and hence, form a concrete action plan on what to work on first, according to its significance and the possible effects it can create on the career targets. Thus, an action plan should be formulated to tackle each of these gaps. In this way, you may join courses, attend workshops, get mentorship, or do hands-on work through projects or internships.

Evaluation of the skills gap is a continuous activity since the job market and the industry needs are always changing. Through the constant analysis of skills and the proactive solving of any gaps, one will be in a better position to handle career changes, be up to date, and achieve professional goals.

Been applying to various online platforms now for 3 months, from upwork, olj ph, indeed, linked in to international company sites, I'm only a SHS grad kase bread winner ako and pagod nako sa BPO for almost 5 years, nakaka drain yung industry, di naman sa di ko kaya yung work load or anything pero i feel so underpaid as i feel na I have the skills of an above average person and it's depressing kase ive been living paycheck to paycheck, like ikaw yung tatawagin ng kapatid mo to help with their BAR Exams or ng family members to troubleshoot their computers etc bwahahaha but anyways point is im very tech savvy, fast learner, resourceful, with experience on many tools, C1 CEFR naman english ko even C2 with spoken, but so far, i feel na time only passes without anything happening, I'm starting to feel hopeless and im under debt now, first time ko to, rock bottom lmao. Ayoko naman bumalik sa corpo BPO.
Actually got an interview yesterday and i passed, was informed na they're gonna send me a contract kaso i read reviews na scam daw pala yung company, it's Haulla so yon isa nanamang dagok ng kapalaran, lmao.

Normally when it comes to disputes between expats and locals I take the expat's side but when it comes to Indian expats I feel differently. In my experience doing business with people from India, specifically tech workers, they always overpromise but underdeliver, they try to change the price mid project, and sometimes they just outright lie or try to force you to buy. I remember I was getting bids to fix a recurring problem on one of my sites and some expansion and the woman asked to take a look to she could give me a 'proper estimate to fix the problem sir'. I was smart enough to only give her limited access but she logged in, claimed she fixed the problem and demanded payment.
Then there's the fact that many of them take advantage of poor Filipinos with their predatory lending schemes. One top of that I question how much they truly do contribute to the Philippine economy because they're just soooo cheap. I dated a girl who was a tutor for an Indian family. I remember she asked for 70 pesos for fare to get home after they increased the Jeepny fares; but despite living in a mansion they wouldn't do it! Plus they were severely underpaying their other household help. When it was time to eat they ate food from S&R but they gave the workers the cheapest crap they could find.
As a business man myself I want to say that I get it. The saying "You don't get rich by writing a lot of checks" has some truth to it but at the same time there should be a common sense limit to one's frugality that these people just don't seem to have.
In short I'm glad the BI is cracking down on them. I never thought I'd cheer on the BI for anything but this is a rare exception. I'm sure not all of them are like this but plenty of them are, based on personal experiences and hearing experiences of others.
Oh and before someone throws at the "r" word I'll just say that if Danish people were coming here doing those things I would feel the same way about them.

I lost over 2000 euros on an app called Steemmax. A girl I met on a dating app claimed she could help me make money with Bitcoin. Initially, I invested a small amount (under 200 euros) and made 80 euros profit. She then convinced me to invest more for greater returns. I became suspicious and tried to find information about the website, but at that time, there was no data available (now I know it was created only 3 months ago, despite her claim of 7 years of trading experience exclusively on this app). She persuaded me to invest an additional 2000 euros, but when I attempted to withdraw, I received a warning: "Your withdrawal behavior is abnormal, please contact online customer service." I reached out to them, but they claimed the app was undergoing maintenance and assured me I could withdraw my funds after 72 hours, which was not true. During this time, I asked the girl if she could withdraw her money, and she claimed she could do so normally. Now I realize I've been scammed, fortunately without losing more money.
Here's her strategy:

1. The scammer is a Chinese girl whose root is Taiwan (I'm unsure of the validity).
2. She engages in friendly conversation and feigns interest to gain your trust.
3. Then she convinces you to invest with her to make money, starting with a small amount.
4. You purchase USDT on Bybit to order crypto and then withdraw it on Steemax.com.
5. She helps you make some profit and convinces you to invest more to earn greater profits.
6. When you attempt to withdraw your money again, you receive a warning, and your money is lost.

I should have been more cautious, but without any warnings about this website, I want to alert anyone trading with this app.

My bank (Westpac) blocked my internet banking access while I was overseas. I have been able to get access restored for my laptop but the bank says I need to go to an Apple shop and get a factory clean of my iPhone before I can use my phone to access my account.
I really didn't understand what I am required to do. The person just kept telling me there had been a scam attempt and my phone isn't safe. Does anyone know what I need to do, noting that I don't live anywhere near an Apple Store?

I (20f) and my ex (21m) broke up on my birthday kasi I found out he cheated on me again with the same girl (F18 na now not sure ano age niya before) from December 2022 (they were a situationship on 2020 after we ended our talking stage then after things ended with them, he courted me and we became a couple)

His family treated me like I was their daughter, pinaramdam nila sakin yung magulang talaga at di lang pera habol sakin katulad ng magulang ko. I love my family pero mukhang pera talaga sila, even my karampot na money sa gcash noon from my work when I was 17 pinapaopen para makita na di ako nagsisinungaling na wala akong pera + nambubugbog + baliw daw ako kasi suicidal ako.
(All of these things happened while live in kami) Ff, so we broke up September 2020 kasi nagsinungalinf siya sakin na marami sila sa reunion na kasama long term ex niya. Yes, I admit gumaganti lang ako sa kanya and using these guys for distraction and validation that I deserve better.
Ff, we became a couple again. This time we were trying to work things out na. I had an on-site job around May til Sept. Nalaman ko around July, they were talking pala nung girl January til April. Di ko alam. Talked to the girl and told her pag nag usap ulit sila let me know and she said yes and di niya daw alam na meron pa something samin. While ginagawa niya to ako pa tinatawag na cheater when he knew na nakikipagusap ako sa iba. Ff, birthday ko September, galing akong trabaho and sabi ko wag na magcelebrate and all kasi sayang lang, pero he surprised me and also his family, okay na okay kami not until nakita ko yung girl na nagcomment sa post niya.
I messaged the girl again, told me na sinabi sa kanya binubugbog ko daw kaya naawa daw siya and parang nabad impression, nag uusap sila sa IG and TG, also found out he had another IG na di ko alam (may other ig siya na ako lang may alam), and alam ng friends niya matagal na kaming wala, 2 friends lang niya may alam na kami pa, ako pinagkakalat na cheater and abuser (when he did this shit to me pa nga nung nakikipaghiwalay ako), found out they were talking nung kami pa, nag aya magmeetup, plan ng dates nila but sakin wala, iniistory yung girl sa isang ig, adik sa girls playing with themselves on tg. I NEVER CAME BACK but magkasama kami and he’s courting me kahit ayoko.
Around Nov, I found a guy. And we became a couple. On NYE, di ko pinansin ex ko. Nag usap na kami na aalis na ko kasi di ko narin kaya kasi mas nababaliw ako sa ginagawa niya. On NYE, I was already preparing myself kausapin family niya ans also sorted things out sa family ko na babalik narin ako. He wanted another chance after ng mga ginawa niya. I found his phone when he wasn’t around pinatago sa kapatid pero luckily binigay sakin ng kapatid niya, found out nakikipag usap na sa ibang babae when he was literally BEGGING me and telling me na magpapakamatay na siya (he always does this pag ayoko na). Found out he had a lot of F videos of girls and pov ng guys fucking those girls.
LAHAT NG CHEATING NIYA SINABI KO SA MOM AND DAD NIYA BUT THEY TOLD ME IT WAS FINE SINCE HE WASN’T MEETING THEM PERSONALLY. Pero it was my choice daw. Ang alam lang nila cheating ng anak nila, di yung pagtatangka pag ayoko na and pananakit sakin.
After I left, pinapagkalat parin kung ano ano, parang kasalanan ko pa nagkaroon ako bf.
Namiss ko lang din family niya and the way they treat me as their own. Pero now I just checked my FB account na friend ko sila yesterday lang but they unfriended me na now. Also nag greet ako ng HMD pero wala man lang pansin haha it hurts. Nagtiis ako sa ex ko because of them din kasi sila naging parents ko when I was there na walang hininging kung ano sakin.
Ang sakit lang sa part ko na parang ganito na. May bago narin naman ex ko, and parehas kami happy. Pero masakit lang talaga sa hahahaha.

I have mailed my 2021 returns multiple times every year since that tax year to both the Utah site and rhe Austin TX site...it still hasn't been processed. The tracking always shows received. Why hasn't it ever been processed and no notices have been sent? My transcript shows notice of nonfiling for that year but all my other returns have been processed including this year's. I had to mail that year off due to my spouse receiving SSN after a certain date. What should I do next? I've definitely attempted to file quite a few times. Thanks for any insight!

I’ve been starting to have issues with my computer deciding it did not want to connect to the Wi-Fi anymore at random times. This weekend it happened two days in a row out of nowhere. I’ve updated the Wi-Fi drivers to the most recent version available on ASUS’s website site at the time of this post, and it still randomly disconnects from the internet for as long as over a month to as short as a day. Is there anything else I’m missing here? I’m not sure if it is a Wi-Fi issue or if it’s an issue with the motherboard, I bought it from a company building computers before they updated the model on their website.

Two weeks ago, my boyfriend broke up with me, and it hit me hard. I gave him everything I had but he couldn’t give me the emotional support and availability I needed in return. All of that after emotionally submitting myself to him for two years.
I’ve been trying to pick up the pieces and move on, so I decided to go on a date tonight. I was hopeful, excited even, to put myself out there again. But guess what? I got stood up.
