I remember people asking about where the male members of fandom spaces are. Which I thought. They are on power scaling forums debating about "feats" and how every character is light speed.
look at the vs battle wiki for the encapsulation of power scaling nonsense.
like how in the Star Trek fandom the female side was in charge of shipping Fics and zines compared to the more "mechanical" male side who was debating the chronology.
Of course, it's a broad assumption with there being many males into shipping and fan-art and females into power scaling. but it's interesting how the dominantly female side of a fandom is into interpretive stuff, emotions and relationships while the male side is more "objective" obsessed with the literal text and plot.
there has to be a study out there about this.
while female fans are writing head-canons about how favorite character would interact with their SO, male fans are writing paragraph long essays on Superman vs Goku would win in a fight using physics

Motherhood. One the most demanding yet essential duties that billions of women have shouldered since the beginning of time. Yet, in society’s efforts to support this role, many unintended consequences have caused women to deviate from and postpone motherhood.
While there are the obvious reasons for delaying children: contraception, education, career plans, there are other reasons why I have been turned off to motherhood for most of my young adult life.
Growing up, many of my female role models were stay-at-home mothers. I observed their housekeeping, unconditional support of their husbands, moral contributions to the family and accessibility. I also observed postpartum depression, silent tears, disordered eating, worried nights and a lack of personal time. I admire them so much, but for a long time, motherhood scared me. It’s scary to think that once I become a mother, my body and personhood could be objectified, held hostage by idealized yet unattainable standards and evaluated by my body’s usefulness. Society’s pervasive maternal objectification causes women to self-objectify before they even become mothers.
As I reflected on this disconnect between how society encourages motherhood while simultaneously undervaluing the individual women in these roles, I was reminded of “the Madonna-whore complex.” This term, first coined by Sigmund Freud to support his Oedipal theories, describes a phenomenon that still permeates our societal views of gender. Originally meant to dichotomize female characteristics and sexuality into two parts, Madonna and whore, it is now a belief that perpetuates patriarchal oppression. Madonna refers to chaste, virtuous and motherly traits, while whore refers to promiscuous, easy and hypersexual traits. This has influenced how most men and women have internalized women’s bodies and purposes.
Women are often expected to fulfill roles and expectations that benefit men. When women are objectified, they are only seen in the role they are placed in. Society’s obsession with women’s bodies and agency is overtly seen in the sexualization of women, particularly in media. Maternal objectification is when women are seen as a literal object, a “human incubator” or “womb for rent,” and are “treated as bodies that exist for the use or consumption of others, stripped of their individuality and personality.”
Motherhood, though extremely necessary and remarkable, is undervalued. This contributes to objectification since it celebrates women for their body’s usefulness and dismisses the broad range of women’s experiences.
Once a woman becomes and shows she is pregnant, there is a cultural invitation to maternally objectify the woman’s body and identity. A recent systematic review of 23 studies on the objectification of motherhood found patterns of objectification at the hands of others and oneself. By others, many women experience a loss of autonomy especially with nonconsensual belly-touching, comments about one’s weight and appearance, and frequent questioning about when they’ll have another baby. One may cause self-objectification by adopting an outsider’s “perspective on one’s body and value.” Self-objectifying causes a disconnect between an individual and their body and correlates with postpartum depression, disordered eating, body shame, negative beliefs about breastfeeding and fear of childbirth. Even those who do not have children may start to self-objectify their body, forsaking personal identity for societal utility.
What are the consequences of maternal objectification? Women are not seen as individuals and are treated as flattened caricatures labeled as “mother.” When I was in first-grade filling out a Mother’s Day card for my mom, I was asked what her favorite thing to do was. I put “folding laundry.” It was not until I grew up that I realized how little I actually knew about my mom as a person. On top of stripping women of their unique personalities, maternal objectification also leads to isolation as some women may feel like their efforts are not enough or they do not meet the traditional stay-at-home image. This is detrimental for women as they contemplate motherhood, are in the thick of it or interact with other mothers.
So what can be done? Dr. Julie Hanks gave a TedTalk reframing motherhood from a role to a relationship. A central principle for this shift is valuing women in all their responsibilities and achievements, whether that includes motherhood or not, instead of idealizing motherhood as a role. In regards to self-objectification, women should see motherhood as a relationship, an opportunity to connect.
Another way to move away from maternal objectification is to recognize women as multi-dimensional. If mothers rely on all aspects of their identity in their endeavors, not only does their personhood remain intact but the idea of motherhood is expanded. Women can set themselves free from the false narrative that motherhood needs to be perfect. Forcing women in the Madonna-whore binary perpetuates objectification and causes harm.
Let us stop labeling and reducing mothers to a role when they are so much more than that.

Hi, David here!
"Actions speak louder than words." This is especially true when it comes to creating attraction. Since talk is cheap, women have developed excellent BS detectors for evaluating a man based primarily on his body language, actions and behaviors.
The first thing you should communicate is a vibe of comfort and confidence. Nonverbal ques and how you say something can communicate much more than the actual words you that you say.
Comfort and confidence in an interaction implies prior success. A guy who acts nervous, rushes his words and is constantly afraid of "screwing up" an interaction is communicating that he thinks a girl is out of his league and that he suffers from a scarcity of similar options.
However, a guy who does not need the other person’s approval, is willing to walk away, or at the very least not chase a girl or act desperate / hungry, implies that he has options. A guy does not actually need to be in abundance or have many options to appear attractive. He must simply show and display the behaviors of someone who does. This primarily done by him not getting overly excited, trying to rush an interaction along before a girl changes her mind, showing a fear of loss, or trying too hard to impress.
When it seems to a person that you are trying to actively and intentionally impress them, they may think that you are overcompensating for something else. Imagine what the behaviors of a self-secure, confident, high value man who had tons of options and was living in abundance would look like. Would he actively be trying to impress a girl he liked? He would simply make his intrigue in the woman known and believe that as she naturally gets to know him in a conversation, that there is no reason that he is not good enough. He would not feel the need to actively try to sell himself.
You can’t logically convince someone to find you attractive via your words alone. The emotions/feelings of attraction are better elicited via attractive behaviors which are harder to fake. And when it is created through your words, these words must be deemed as being part of an honest conversation and not only being said for the sole purpose of making the other person like you. Otherwise the person may dismiss you as just telling them what you think they want to hear.

Vegapunk said he was not able to perfect the mother flame, and when Luffy goes into Gear 5 it seems to activate the robot but not completely, so what if the missing component to both is a merge or some sort of interaction, combining the power source of the mother flame with the energy of joy boy to be able to actually control and use ancient technology and have an infinite power source. We have theorised Luffy transformation isn't complete and he still has parts and forms of Gear 5 to unlock
Theres nothing definitive that would prove this but if both the mother flame and Luffy gear 5 came into contact, it could create the perfect mother flame vegapunk was trying to create due to absorbing some of Joy Boys energy, the missing component that VP couldn't replicate. It can be backed up with VP statement about energy being in the air and constantly collected on Egghead.
Luffy coming into contact with the mother flame could potentially give him extra power and energy, allowing him to unlock parts of his awakening, potentially a near gear 5th form or ability

For those of you with no patience to read
After releasing two more dlc in the style they did thrones of decay with patches afterwards.

Add cinematics and opening speeches.
Change end times
Create lore filled victory conditions that combine with the unique item battles to give purpose and story to the campaigns.
Unique turotorials for factions.
Add read alongs to the lore page in the faction selection menu

So I am on reddit alot reading a lot like most of us here, Outside of some of your "extra curriculur activities" that some of you may have that is. I think it's clear for us here that play wh3, it's easy to say that we all have a ton of opinions that would make wh3 better.
Let me also say. We will never all agree and there is always room to improve just about anything in life let alone games.
With that being said. I a long time gamer at this point do not expect anything to be released perfectly. Most games that drop now a days that aren't small time indie games. Have bugs and fixes that need to be done. So I think this last dlc CA dropped was wonderful. It is obvious that to get the right touch they need us, the players to let them know what's going on after a release. So I think they are headed in the right direction currently.
Anyways. I think if they drop two more dlc similar to the last one. Then there updates for the bug fixes and slight balance changes. I think a lot of us would be happy.
With that being said. I think that before dropping the rest of the dlc's after (like nagash and such) that maybe it would be best to focus on some other things in the process. But not needing to be in this particular order btw.

Hit us with cinematics and opening speeches for all the factions. Bring that back. Not just the factions being touched in the dlc's.
Change the end game scenario situation. I understand the point of the end game scenarios is to make it less "steam rolly" and throw in a nice curve ball allt you. For me it does just that. But most the time I don't play with it on. From reading most of your post. It seems others have thoughts of them being meaningful. So like most things in life, the best things have real purpose. Most players enjoy games that immerse them and give them depth. So I think adding true purpose in the end game scenarios would be great for most of us. Maybe instead of just boom spam doom stack, it be boom give a few stacks to order or to chaos, make them allies and bring on a tide.

This may however not make sense for some factions who usually stay independent like green skins, even tho in the lore technically Grimgor was working for the good guys. But it was for his own purpose. Now this particular category I feel like I really don't have too many ideas for. But if it were to be a focus and some polls were to be released on the matter. I think it would settle down the community a little, for those that are getting "bored" of the current situation.

Since wh3 is the largest total war I believe to date with the most playable factions, that also have the most unique variety compared to any other total war game. I think a very ambitious thing to do. Would be to then go back to every factions, and completely change the Victory conditions. Not only change them. But give them a very great lore specific goals. If they take victory conditions, and there current unique battles (the ones that you normally obtain your lord items with) and bring them together. I think we can give every faction it's own little immersive lore filled story.

The trick how ever is to make it so the AI controlled factions don't become predictable from this situation. Which for that idk how it would go. But you don't want players to be able to predict, oh I know Vlad is going to try and aim for this because that's part of his victory condition, Because maybe that makes the game easier? But imagine if you will that along your usual conquest, you have goals. That not just unlock items like we currently have, but also faction based rewards like how they do with skarsnik, queek, and belegar. I think making it so the battles can't be teleported too (this I am unsure of), and make them go along with your victory conditions. Could be great. Imagine your playing belegar you take eight peaks and a nice speech happens and you claim that condition properly. Basically instead of it feeling like an instant royal rumble we bring it all together to give an amazing lore filled mini objective based campaign. Not that your stuck doing it btw. If you still want to conquer in another direction by all means. Hell maybe make rumble mode its own mode. So basically it turns off all that stuff, victory conditions and all, at the menu you check off a box and you just load up and go straight to conquering. But for the rest of us, and I'll boldly say most of us. It feels Grindy and too simple for what Warhammer has to offer.
This can be applied to faction based mechanics as well. Grudge books, elector count system, even triggering waaaaghs. Anyways for those who have played Warhammer battle march, you'll see that a game like total war could greatly benefit from some good lore filled objectives. I however do not think it would be wise to do it in the same way and make it more linear like battlemarch.

I thought why not have little intro for the factions, kind of like the tutorial. Which btw I love that they did give us a nice tutorial in this game. Without giving the player a running start and expand your territory in the beginning of a campaign, instead make it it's own thing. Example, you load up Karl Franz (stupid umie), his amazing cinematic plays then he says some really great speech when you get on the map (referencing 1.) and instead of just that first initial battle with the initial enemy. It's more like "zoomed in" on the map, so like the tutorial is not going to shape the map at all. It's just a quick this is who Franz is and how this faction plays sort of deal. A little lore, a little lord how to guide, a little faction how to guide. Maybe make it skipable? Or make it a box you check before loading up if you want to play it, have it start before the cinematic and speech. But the current tutorial is more battle specific. This would give each faction a more interactive guide not just a here read this, and give you a nice little story. Not to mention it can feel like it unlocks the faction and it's mechanic.
When your looking at a faction you have three tabs. The Lord details and such, the starting position and the little lore page. I would love that you could click a button and the character or maybe the old man thats been in the three titles reads the lore for us. A simple nice gesture for ca. This is not just for the lazy people who don't want to read, because I how ever did read them all. I even read them to friends when I am talking to people about Warhammer fantasy. But I am sure a lot of us would love to just be able to sit back and listen.

I think that adding 1 through 4 will change how dlc is released because obviously they have to add these things as well like the cinematics and stuff. But it will make that dlc feel less like oh here is just another faction obstacle for my campaign. Just more map clutter.
If they ever released a total war: Warhammer 4. One thing they could for sure do is fill out the map more. Like does anyone imagine how beautiful the forest was in wh1 wood elves dlc campaign? Imagine if the whole map was zoomed in, with its entire map. Then obviously they can add the small factions in that might not have enough lore or units to make them playable. But they can ty into other people's victory conditions. And be apart of faction stories during the tutorials and unique battles and such.

So I recently made my first post here on this subreddit and my first post in general ( still new on Reddit even though I made the account years ago ), about getting a change from Tilidin to Tapentadol. I was taking Tilidin for my back pain for 10 years and Doc and I came to the conclusion that it is time for a substance change without increasing the overall dose too much. It is often heard that just changing around the substance is helping many people in dealing with their pain and Doc was not opposed to it, luckily. ( Found myself a great one ) Now I been to the doc again to discuss the latest ECG and blood test. Nothing worry-some there except a low-ish hemoglobin, and I told him about a pain I don't really get controlled for the last 4-5 weeks. It's right between my shoulder blades on the spine including the muscles left and right from it, and it makes walking and sitting a tragedy, but worst, totally messes with my sleep.
I do take 150mg of Tapentadol in the morning and evening and it was always really effective in what it did, just that this pain always punched through again after some hours. The IR Tapentadol I had ( 50mg/pill ) was not the best help. I had to take two sometimes three to tackle it so I can sleep, or move right after waking up from pain. He doesn't like me being dependent on so much IR medication, which I can totally understand ( the IR comes with a high, which makes an addiction "worse" and so on ), so the decision was made to change the substance again.
The surprising part is, that he went very high in the list instantly. Not a small jump to Morphine or Oxycodone, no. I will now test some Fentanyl Patches for a month. Damn. I have a lot of respect for that. Being from the medical field I know of its potency, and also dangers, so while I am thankful, I am also approaching the whole situation with a lot of respect. It's the 2nd lowest dosage of patches you can get, so we didn't go overboard there, but it still is a significant jump. That said I am happy that he listens to me and we approach everything on a professional non-judgemental level. After having been through years of terrible experiences with doctors in my youth. It's reaffirming and makes me happy / good for my psychological well-being to have such interactions. I am "excited" to see how this will turn out. I have high hopes for it and don't mind at all going over to patches and away from pills and IR pills. As I told my doctor: " I don't get happiness from being high, I get happiness from being able to live my life and do the things I love without pain stopping me from doing them. " I still don't have a proper diagnose, which is sad, but I get more than proper treatment ( many different medication , physical therapy, soon psychological therapy and so on ) so I really can't complain. A new set of diagnostics will be done in a few months in a special clinic focused on muscle / spine / etc pain. Maybe that will shine some light in the dark.
So...that was a lot longer than expected. I don't have any friends to share this with, so I thought I share it with you people. The ones that are the most likely to understand. I'm confused with what Gege is really doing with them.
I think Nobara is a great character and I'm fine with her dying in Shibuya, as we already explored a lot of her character in a relatively short amount of time spent with her thanks to great characterization throughout the Goodwill, Death Painting and Shibuya arcs. But he decided to not confirm her death. Not even letting it ambiguous, he made it explicitly clear there was a chance she could be alive. That's really confusing to me because FUCK MEGUMI he actually didn't have to do this at all and created an awkward situation where she's either dead (and the moment in itself was way less impactful for no reason, why leave a doubt?) or alive but was left totally unmentioned for 3 YEARS now.
Well almost unmentioned outside of that one page where Yuji finally thinks about her directly post-Shibuya and there's absolutely nothing done over this. Like genuinely nothing Yuji, Legumi or Hana does or says ever since that panel from chapter 210 really deals with that very interesting and sad thought Yuji had about Hana and Nobara, and before that the only thing we had in that direction was the panel where Hana and Yuji are having some banter at Legumi's expense after he asked his sister who just woke up from a coma to sleep (???).
It's made even worse when you consider how bad Hana of a character Hana really is She is fairly bland, as soon as we get closure on her, it's just giving the origins of her kindness and attraction to potential man, which might be here to justify her huge fuck-up vs Sukuna but that really doesn't work because we never really got to witness any sign of her stupidity/emotional vulnerability beforehand, which seems like it would be needed since basically nobody expects a JJK character to fall for something this stupid. Worst part of all this? She literally does nothing after besides just being a tool to unseal Gojo. So we don't explore how she feels about screwing up or Legumi getting possessed, or how other feel about her afterward. Nothing about the Nobara connection in Yuji's eyes either?
And I don't buy the "Jujutsu sorcerers are just cogs that's why Gege is this cold in his character treatment" kind of excuse for characters being this blatantly mechanical narrative tools. 1- Gege actually wrote strong character interactions and made them feel really human many times 2- There are dozen of stories dealing with this kind of themes that don't fall for this. Just to give my personal favourite, Jojo part 5 very explicitly talks about how everyone is a slave to fate and how everyone is a small part of a larger struggle towards good, yet has some of the most humans characters in shonen and they're all fleshed out.
tl:dr: the handling of Nobara's death is weird, Hana sucks ass, Legumi Lushiguro sucks and the Nobara connection was really weird and seems like it will really amount to nothing at all

I’m sorry, I know it’s another complain post but I just don’t know how Supercell thought it was fair to create an event like this.
1) Club event I mean I know that making it tied to club was to promote social interaction between players but if half the clan gets <30 eggs in the whole event it kinda undermines the ones who actually play to get the rewards, not to mention those who after 15 eggs already have one buzz skin so their gigantic brain thinks that they have the right to not contribute anymore to the club. I for one wasn’t in a club before the event (I took a break some time ago so my club rightfully so kicked me) and I don’t have a lot of friends who play so I entered the first club that seemed active and it kinda is, but half of it stopped playing in the middle of the event.
2) Mutations I love them but Ruff’s and Rico’s were a mistake. In the balance changes they said that they nerfed them but that clearly wasn’t enough, I know they’re not made to be balanced but I want to have fun, not to fight an Undertale boss that thumbdowns you after spending all the match in a corner spamming shots towards the wall. The other mutations are fine, some are clearly better than others and I don’t think that’s a problem, they’re temporary after all, but those 2 are in every match and really difficult to counteplay around, not impossible but man
3) Godzilla mode itself Everyone knows that the Kaiju is ass but it’s still a fun gamemode, OR IT COULD BE IF IT WASN’T FOR THE 2 RICOS I PLAY AGAINST EVERY MATCH, not to mention my randoms that think playing Frank or Hank is a good idea. And the rewards. OH GOD THE REWARDS. WHY DID THEY THINK THAT A RARE STARR DROP AFTER EVERY LOSS WAS FAIR. This is made worse by the fact that underdog matches still count as losses, thank you lvl 8 Otis that didn’t realise the bug was fixed 2 weeks ago. I don’t mind the trophy aspect of the mode, trophies are worthless anyway and even more so with mutations, but the rewards really needed to be buffed or maybe more frequent, because 5 rare drops and 1 egg every 5 days is kind of lame if you ask me.
4) Eggs As today I opened 65 eggs, and I got 37 mutations. Nearly all of them, and I used only Brock’s and Stu’s for some time before dropping the mutated gamemodes entirely because I wasn’t having fun dodging bullets every match (I only use Brock for City smash). Mutations being kicked by eggs rewards was stupid, not to mention that to win the Godzilla mode you NEED to least one good mutation, and the meta for that mode is even smaller than the normal mutated modes. I got 4 mithic eggs and all of them were rare skins, some of them I’ll never use because they’re worse than the base model (and I refuse to be part of the blackbird Edgar gang) and only 1 legendary, which was Robo spike, arguably the worst epic skin in all of the event. I bought 12 eggs because I had some spare gems and wanted to help the club while also getting some extra rewards but that’s a a hell of a mistake. I know I’m unlucky, but maybe the odds needed to be a bit higher, or maybe a threshold for some guaranteed rewards would be nice.
Conclusion, I don’t want to harass supercell for this event, I know they had the best of intentions with it and they aren’t gods that came from space so obviously they can’t predict the future and make everything perfect, I’m just sad that we need to rely on luck to get the rewards more than anything.

Hi, just started IFS in order to then go into EMDR. I have become more self aware of how different parts interact with my day to day. I just have a really hard time identifying them, and labeling which is which. The past few months, I have been having uncontrollable crying and struggling to turn it off. It could be in the middle of the night, after any disagreement with my husband, etc. For context, we had an incident involving betrayal some time back that I’m not quite over.
Lately, whenever we are actually doing great and have a sweet moment, all of sudden I’ll get an overwhelming wave of sadness and have to step away to bawl my eyes out. It’s happening every single time now. The truth is I’m actually close to getting over the betrayal (it wasn’t full on cheating). But this reaction is really keeping me stuck.
I’m reading a lot and researching, but thought I would throw it out here, in case anyone has any insight or point me in the right direction or gone through the same. Thanks!

I'm 15,000 hours deep on dayz, a lot of that on official on console, moved to PC about a year ago, proper fan boy but I struggled to find a server on PC that really gives me that dayz buzz without the cheaters of official. You know, the thing we all fell in love with dayz for, the adrenaline, that knowledge that when you're playing a server with 1 other guy on it and you're still bricking it at Tisy while you find that one magazine you need.
I wanted a server that gave me that buzz, that kept me guessing, wasn't easy, didn't give me all the guns, the food, the armour on a plate and most importantly had the longevity. Vanilla for me is just too plain now, there's nothing to do on a quiet server when its too easy to get geared.
But, I think I have found the ONE. The best Vanilla+ server I've found is DAT (Day After Tomorrow) - it's not too old so the pop is still low but for anyone who is a proper dayz fan boy but wants a little extra, it's quality, the pop doesn't matter when there is always something to keep your attention, to find, to avoid, to shoot.
I've played loads on places like spaggies, zero, basically vanilla, northmens etc etc but none of them hit that mark - either because they're too vanilla and theres no longevity, or they have things like markers, traders, easy food, too many guns, too many types of clothing, ammo, armour or in game maps that make life too easy for the autorunners or just have skyscraper bases and stuff that is just too un-dayz, for me anyway.
The best parts about DAT is the AI, the grind, the underground proper secret squirrel bases and the tiered loot system that doesn't give you everything on a plate, literally took 5 days of solid looting to find the materials to build my tier 1 base, quality stuff and I still have not seen at least 50% of the guns, armour and attachments I know exist - somewhere.
The bad points are the pop being 2/3 during the weekdays, 5/6 in evenings and 8/10 at the weekends, and there are probably a few too many POI's but other than that, it is honestly the best Vanilla plus server I have ever played, it keeps you guessing, gives you things to go 'wow' at all the time and isn't easy to get the best stuff. I'm probably 100 hours in now, in a squad of 3 and haven't seen so many items, still find stuff we didn't know existed and still amazed by the AI, the work that's gone in and the way the admins actually listen to feedback and implement.
Hoping the pop will grow, but honestly even with a few people on, the random AI encounters and the fact the EVERYONE has to keep on their toes looting to grow means interaction is never far away.
FYI, I play the server but not affiliated in any way. Just want more people to know and play on a server that is trying to fill the big void between boring vanilla and the current batch of "vanilla+" servers that just lose that Dayz feel we all fell in love with.

Bases have been simplified. There is no vanilla building and no crazy monstrous bases built by massive groups. Our bases are underground, that’s right, find a shovel and start digging. Think of them as just big stashes OR someplace to wait out the cold night if you're afraid of the dark!
Modded guns, but NO tappers (unless you’re poorly geared of course the everything is a tapper). We aim to keep the DayZ feel but also have some fun toys to play with.
Chernarus, in our opinion, is a beautiful map but it was always too clean, and not apocalyptic enough. We have modded the map to give it a different feel.
We are adding custom areas to the map, some of which you will know about, and others that you will have to explore and find on your own. Our goal is to give people a reason to veer off the “usual” loot route a little. There are parts of the map that people literally have never seen because there is no reason to go there!

Please be sure to change your in-game name in either DZSA or the Vanilla launcher, which ever you are using.

Hey guys, I have recently grown a lot professionally and have begun interacting with people in a higher wage group. They carry themselves quite well the way they dress, their accessories and have fantastic in social interaction skills.
Mind you, they are not like the folk you see on Dubai Bling. I am mainly talking about people like bankers, lawyers and Entrepreneurs.
I am having difficulty fitting in with these people and am not able to show my personality in an optimal way. I have had a casual approach to life and have never bothered to develop myself properly. However, at this stage of life to break the plateau and grow I am going to need someone who can help me dress well, teach me table manners, how to be professional while maintaining my genuineness (This is the hard part)… basically how to human.
I know I am throwing a Hail Mary but there aren’t many good options here in Dubai and most of them are just stylists.
