Welcome to CatCraft!
CatCraft is a smaller, adult only, community focused Minecraft server.
We started Season 1 on April 4, 2019. With the launch of 1.18, we began Season 2 in December 2021 to make the most of the new biomes. Our intention is a long term world, with a slow world border expansion as new 1.X updates are released. Currently, we're running 1.20.4, with a world border set at 15k in every direction. Our server is hosted in Ashburn, VA, on the eastern seaboard of the USA.
While we're a small-ish community (usually between 30 and 80 total active members), the admin staff is passionate about keeping the server going and providing as many quality of life options as possible. On top of having a Survival server, we also have a Creative server with world edit, as well as an Event server on standby for (a hopeful!) monthly UHC, community planned events, or the occasional ModPack. Bluemap runs on both Creative and Survival, as well as a discord Chat Bot.

Server Rules

1. Don't be a dick. I really think this kind of sums up all the rules, but I'll spell it out.
2. Don't steal shit, dupe, or grief. See rule 1.
3. We're a strict 21+ server. We are not child friendly. Swearing is fine, within reason. If that makes you uncomfortable, we are not the place for you.
4. PVP is turned on. This is not an excuse to be an asshole and snipe people. Play fair, help the loser pick up their stuff, and return all the things. See rule 1.
5. No hacking. No x-ray. No duping. No forcefield. Whatever might give you an unfair advantage.
6. Pranking is fine, within reason. Don't destroy someone's shit, or cover it with TNT and call it a prank.
7. In your application, please include your favorite breed of cat.
8. Patch up creeper holes, fully chop down trees, and don't leave dirt towers around. We all have to live here, let's try to keep it pretty looking.
9. Sign your stuff, keep the server easy to navigate.
10. Don't kill withers in the over-world. Just don't. It never goes well. Under the end portal please.

I am a Dm that is obsessed with Devils and all other lower planar beings. I struggled to find a subreddit that primarily focussed on Devils. So i created one myself. DnDevils is the subreddit that is made for players and Dm's that are obessed with Devils, or people that want to learn more about the lore of them. The subreddit is primarily focussed on Devils, but other fiends and lower planes are also allowed. If you are willing to make a pact to the subreddit i would really appreciate that. I am not a shill. But I believe in the company. So much so that I am a repeat customer and a shareholder. No, I am not brokering deals for family...my wife and I purchased these ourselves. I've had a major medical event and decided that some of our life savings was better used improving the lives of our loved ones. So the kids and parents got new (to them) cars courtesy of Carvana. My sister in law started a home daycare and we got her an 8-passenger highlander for school pickup. The wife and I picked up a 1400 mile 2021 Miata this past March because....why not? I sold a car to them in that same transaction.
Everyone is sharing their experience, so I will share mine. My Carvana experience started with an emergency need to replace a car for my brother in Texas late 2022. I didn't want to go pound the pavement all over the Austin area. This netted us a 2013 Scion xB with 51,000 miles. The vending machine was broken that day. That was sad.
The thing for me is that I am not running all over town often dealing with sleazeball salespeople. My selections aren't limited to what is on lots in the radius I want to drive to see it. I am not arm wrestling dealers for carfaxes to analyze on the spot, haggling, or trying to get them to think I am serious wearing jeans and sandals. Yes, this was a thing at a luxury make dealer a few years ago. I bought a Ford Maverick in April for my son. For those of you that know these are hard to come by and every dealer seems to think they are entitled to 5 grand over MSRP (or more on used). This was by far the best experience because I paid less than what they were going for on the lots here and didn't have to strong arm local dealers about it. I paid the $1990 shipping and still came out ahead of what I would have paid locally.
To date:
2 cash picked up from Austin, Texas and Daly City, CA vending machines.
5 Bridgecrest financed machines delivered to my door.
Sold them my 2019 Mustang GT when I did the aforementioned Daly City pickup.
Bought 200 shares of CVNA stock in December 2022 at 3.80/share.
Delays seemed to happen in 3 places: When things were left in my court (i.e. trying to push delivery out a month so I can get on a plane to receive the car or doing the manual ACH funds verification thing versus linking my bank or calling them on the phone), when the windshield is chipped or needs replacement, and when the vehicle had open recalls. Certain US states make dealers fix the recalls before they can be resold. Carvana is kind of cagey about this. Example: Our 2023 Highlander had a recall for the front bumper. Carvana replaced the front bumper (delayed it a week)( but didn't re-drill the holes for the front license plate.
One word of advice: If you are thinking about selling your car and your registration expiresin the next 60 days you will need to go renew it. I am not talking about going online and paying it. They need the actual legit DMV registration renewed and DMV receipt. I learned this the hard way and had to go stand in line to get it.
I became a Progressive customer with the first one. For each subsequent ones I logged into progressive once I finalized the order, snagged insurance and had it uploaded in 30 minutes.
Bridgecrest is right up there with Toyota Financial in terms of ease of working with.

We have 55+ communities and 38+ SPL tokens connected to the platform and just pushed a massive update that changes the entire game for EVERY NFT collection and SPL token in the Solana Network...
When I coordinated 25 people to help me with reposting and tagging other community accounts, I got almost instantly shadowbanned, both my personal account and my paid premium project account.
There is zero customer service to appeal to as the system says i'm not restricted, yet 3rd part websites do, and I've heard there have been lawsuits because of this... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Step-by-step: Access OpenVoice on Replicate here and log in with your GitHub account. Upload the audio file of the voice you want to clone where it says ‘audio’. The longer, the better. I just flew to the London Heathrow airport from Seattle and right as I was about to get on the plane the airline said that the overhead compartments were full and my bag needed to go with the checked bags. I didn't think anything of it because had already got through customs, but now am worried that it could have gotten x-rayed as a checked bag before the departure or on arrival. I had 11 rolls of film in my bag, did just lose all of it?

Character Background: (Dark elf)(male) (wizard/lich kinda thing) So they're this archmage that have been trapped in a pocket plane for centuries and nearly destroyed the world in the past. In my world elves experience a whole lot hate and cruelty by the other races. Also arcane magic, not from a divine source, wasn't largely accepted around his time (witch-hunting approach by the public and churches.) His initial plan was to bring an end to elven hate and to make arcane magic acceptable by the world. It didn't go well for him and somewhere along the line he snapped. Tale of a good guy turned evil by the harshness of the world. His whole vibe is like rot and decay. Similar to scarlet rot from Elden Ring. Wishing to purge the unclean world for the dawn of a new age where they can try again without hate and cruelty.
Character aesthetic: Tall, emaciated and handsome. Wears a cross between a wizard robe and a really early design of a 3-piece suit, but it's ragged and frayed and falling apart. Broken dimensional shackles that have scarred and bloodied his wrists. His once elven ears are scarred and uneven, clipped and mutilated to look human-like. Ever watchful piercing green eyes and a smile from ear to ear.
So that part is in stone but it's the personality that's got me stumped because I'm between a few:
A.) A smarmy charismatic guy, with witty remarks that hide a sliver of humanity behind his merciless actions (like Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2.)
B.) Cold and calculating villain, wellspoken and calm but prone to violent bursts, driven by his lust for power.
C.) Just a maniac, almost unthinking. Twisted by the centuries spent in isolation and now a philosophy-rambling savage with tunnel-vision.

My flight was supposed to take off at 11:46 am. Just began slowly boarding now (11:55 am) although they made they announcement about 30 min ago that the plane and crew were ready and they were going to board. What were the agents doing in the meantime??? Making offer after offer for customers to come up and upgrade their tickets for the luxury leg room and business class seats. All of us just want to get on the plane that we can see and that is obviously is not leaving on time. Spirit is busy trying to make more money at the last minute, and further delaying the flight. Sigh. Not bothered by the slight delay, but highly bothered by the money grubbing from Spirit that is prolonging the delay.

I’m fairly new to the hospital I’m working at. But had been a tech for quite sometime. During training all I heard from trainers and co-workers is that I can be self-sufficient right away and that I can handle being in an off-shift. An opportunity arose to be overnights and I wanted it mainly for the differential so I grabbed it and I was to move to overnights once training is over. There are still things I need to learn but it’s been steady.
Now to the issue. We were tasked to do the competency for our 7th month which is the first month after training. The learning coordinator said it’s not that difficult, just some basic stuff but being on overnight with just 3 or 4 people, you don’t have that much time to focus on your competency. About a week or two ago, I received news that my aunt (who I regard as like a bonus mom) had a heart attack and was hospitalized. They live in a different country and I felt helpless. I grew up in that country and we were really close but it’s far away that I can’t just go on a plane to see her. I sped through my competency on that week because I was trying to chase the feeling of fulfillment. Because I felt helpless with my aunt situation, finishing my competency felt like dopamine to me not realizing I didn’t really make sure I answered questions right. Nobody at work knew I was going through something. Now I got called by the QA to discuss with me that I failed a couple of modules on the competency. It’s not that big of a “failure”. I needed to get an 85% rate but I got 83% so they had me do a reassessment. I also got the wet samples wrong (there was confusion on this part because my sample was QNS and I emailed the learning coordinator and she said I could either do sample 4 or 14. I chose 14 but the next day when I did my additional testing for that competency because I didn’t get to finish the day before because I had to prioritize patient samples I mistakenly grabbed 4 and towards the end, nothing was lining up so I figured out I grabbed the wrong sample, it was just a MESS! I made myself confused because I was trying to rush it in because I wanted to focus more on patient samples)
Anyway, they made me do a reassessment but now I’m so anxious and worried with everything I do. I lost confidence and I’m actually thinking that I’m not competent because I failed the competency. I know the personal stuff should not be part of work but it can really make you emotional sometimes. It can give you brain fog and I thought at that time that I was okay. But after discussions with my S/O, he pointed out that I maybe more affected by my aunt’s situation more than I think. It’s not an excuse for making mistakes whatsoever though, I’m just pissed I didn’t realize that it was affecting me a certain way. What does that mean for me? If I fail again does that mean I get fired?

I was writing this as a comment elsewhere, but I was laughing thinking about it and I figured it was worth a post.
I live in California. I interviewed for a tech job in New Jersey when I was finishing school in 2000. There was an engineer on the other end "helping" coordinate the process. He changed my hotel and cancelled my car rental without telling me. The sentiment was nice, but I didn't get the benefit of the Ritz-Carlton or JW Marriott in Short Hills and a towncar as the people at Hertz and the Fairfield Inn insisted there was nothing for me.
The interviews went fine, aside from a guy who asked if I liked California or New York/NJ better. I said they were both nice and he said "East Coast, West Coast, you gotta make up your mind." We were a few years removed from Biggie, and it is absolutely insane that someone would say this in a technical interview.
I get a call a week later offering me a job. They tell me they're going to send me the paperwork. It never shows up. I was young, so I thought this was normal! But it was the beginning of the dot-com crash and they had paused all hiring. Probably got rid of the recruiter too. I never heard anything from them.
A month later, the guy who cancelled my reservation reaches out to ask if I'd gotten an offer. He had left that company and moved to California. I said no. He tells me "well, wear a suit next time." Not great advice for this field (really, would that bother Mr. East coast-west coast? Engineers doing interviews tend to get annoyed with candidate formality, saw it a lot), but also him trying to blame my very nice Ralph Lauren interviewing outfit that I got at Marshalls instead of large macro issues.
15 years later, I'm at a trade show to meet various customers. I go to our demo booth between meetings, and some guy walks up to one of my group's demos. I start walking him through the demo, and I crack a joke. This guy now has the angriest look you can imagine. I look at his business card and it's the same dude.
Surprisingly, he has a reasonably big job today (or had, LinkedIn profile is sus), so I guess having a terrible personality didn't hold him back.

So I am a DM and am running a short 5 session campaign where the players get to shape the world for the next major campaign. Things happened and now I have a divine face off, where the party has split and are now facing off with each other next week (Tuesday). Half of the party are fighting with the Traveler who wishes to remove the World Tree as "Its been on the mortal plane too long, a new god needs to be birthed". While the other half are fighting with the Fenrir which is guarding the tree.
