Iso is by far the weakest agent in the game, so let's take a look on how he could get buffed. It's rather difficult to buff Iso to be honest, because there are rather limited ways to do so:

• Iso's vulnerable ability is already a good ability and doesn't need a buff. Even if you wanted to buff it, there are not a whole lot of good options available. Make it faster is an idea I've seen floating around but it's already pretty fast and it really wouldn't do anything to make Iso better
• Iso's ult doesn't really need any unique changes either, maybe you can reduce the cost by one but there are really limited options available to buff his ult without making it a completely free kill. It's also just a decent ult already
• Iso's shield is finnicky and could definitely use a buff. I think making it so you don't have to pre-activate the ability and could just shoot the orb on kill anytime is a huge quality-of-life change but honestly doesn't really move the needle in terms of Iso's viability. The shield kind of just is what it is. There's really not a whole lot else you can do with it, it already tanks one instance of damage. You can't make it two instances without it becoming broken. Making it last longer won't do much to help buff Iso out of F tier. I saw on TenZ's stream when he was talking about Iso buffs that he thought of an idea where the shield could tank a stun as if it was the instance of damage. It's a definitely cool idea, but overall this would not buff Iso by any significant amount. How many times a game will you actually have an Iso shield up and then get stunned? I'm betting less than once a game. Maybe once every two games

Which brings me to really the most obvious ability to buff: Iso's wall. The wall is just bad. There's no use sugarcoating it. It's one of the worst, if not the worst, abilities in the game. Why is it so bad? One of the reasons is because you can't stop it whenever you want like Harbor's wall. This makes it almost completely useless on defense, as you can't block off a chokepoint with it to delay/stop an execute. It also lasts a pretty short amount of time at just 4.6 seconds when fully formed and is narrower than Harbor's wall.
This leads to most people suggesting the wall be buffed to work like Harbor's wall where Iso could stop it anytime he wants. However, I don't like this idea and I don't think Riot likes it either because it takes away from the uniqueness of both Iso and Harbor's walls. Other basic ideas include making the wall wider or having it last longer. These basic ideas could definitely be good changes, but I propose that Riot should lean into the anti-bullet shield idea of the wall and also make it block projectiles. This would work like the buy phase barrier where projectiles such as Killjoy mollies, Raze nades, Sova darts, really any projectile would just bounce off the wall.
I believe this change could make Iso viable even in coordinated pro play. In fact, this buff may have the biggest impact in pro play but would be a great buff across the board at all elos.
For starters, this would make Iso much better on defense. As soon as a site exec starts, Iso can just drop the wall and suddenly the Sova dart bounces back in Sova's face, the Viper molly drops to the floor, etc., etc.
This buff would also have the funny additional benefit of denying lineups. When you see that Brim molly flying at the spike, just throw the wall and suddenly the lineup misses and you can stick the defuse.
But the greatest impact might just be that this change could maybe make Iso viable on Lotus. In my opinion, Lotus was already one of Iso's better maps in ranked as it is one of the few maps where his wall in its current state can be useful on attack. It's decent at denying the default C long peek while your team takes mound. B site is one of the only sites where the wall can actually be fully utilized to cover waterfall while you exec because it's such a short site. Iso also has some decent plays on defense as his vulnerable is very useful to combo with a Raze nade every round on defense to fight A, and it is not as valuable as an Omen flash so you could always do it every round (plus he has two of them).
The Lotus meta has always been to heavily fight for A rubble control. Some teams always do it, some teams do it less, but all teams do it pretty frequently and have multiple set plays for fighting A rubble. Even during ranked games across all ranks people know to fight for it on defense, throwing Raze nades and Omen blinds.
If Iso's wall was buffed to reflect projectiles, he would be extremely valuable on Lotus attack as he could throw the wall on A every round to completely shut down any defender aggression. The wall serves a dual purpose as you and your team can get across to rubble for free behind cover. You would essentially get easy rubble control every round for 200 credits.
If we're talking specifically pro scene, having that free rubble control may already be enough to make Iso a niche pick. However, this could also have the added benefit of allowing teams to switch from Omen to Brim as their primary controller. Some teams already have shown that they prefer Brim, such as NRG or Navi, although it is still considered a niche pick. One reason teams go for Omen is because of how good the Omen flash can be for fighting for A. However, if teams used Iso they could use the Iso vulnerable instead and also pick Brim without having to sacrifice all of the capabilities of the Omen flash.
As a final note, I know that some people will probably complain about how it is too OP if you can just drop a wall and completely shut down a Raze rocket or Deadlock ult, but do remember that a simple Kayo knife can already do that.

Hi, I'm not a very active poster in Reddit so my writing may be a bit sluggish. Please ask me for clarification for anything I wrote in an odd manner.
There has been something on my mind for a long time, ever since the early WvW restructing betas, and I am eager to hear other people's thoughts and opinions about it. (I haven't seen anyone mention this notion so I've decided to step forward and make this post!)
I've been playing GW2 since the early days, and a major portion of that time has been spent in WvW. I'm a part of a very small guild and we spens the majority of our time roaming, scouting, smallscaling & lowmanning enemy population or providing support for zergs/raisa/GvG's.
At least in my case, I have mixed feelings about some players/guilds in our server, but it still feels like home, and whenever our server is winning and climbing the tiers, it always feels like our guild's ops had its impact in tipping the scales.
I personally feel like that feeling of fame may lose some of its charm with the upcoming changes, as the teams get mixed and rematched and even if you win the matchup that week, it feels less immortalized and long term that it does now.
In the long run, it may hurt retention with smaller guilds/individual longtime roamers and scouts who are not a part of a large guild. (And yes, people could join larger guilds, but some people are comfortable with their current way of playing and old habits may die hard, in particular older players with introvert tendencies)
One of two answers I could come up with which would retain that feeling of success and fame is a leaderboard for guilds who are active in WvW.
Each matchup, a guild can qualify to get a chance to appear it in following a certain level of activity/participation.
Once qualified, score will be awarded based on the place your team finished with.
Overtime, guilds who are active and were winning a lot of matches will take their spot on the top of the leaderboard.
The number of members would not matter, only that your guild was active and that you ended up in the winning team often.
Inactivity in a match would cause decay, so in order to retain your spot in the leaderboard, your guild must keep playing actively, similarly to PvP.
The other solution which involves no fame but could still encourage "caring about winning the match" is to award the active player for currency based on their team's place in the end of the match and introduce cosmetics or titles purchased with that currency. People who are actively victorious will be able to gain those faster.
I can definitely understand if larger guilds or GvG orienated guild members may feel differently than I do. I hope this still made some sense to you and you can at least sympathize with my notion!

Hi there, my dad (58) was rushed into emergency surgery a little bit over a month ago. He had an aortic dissection. He was heavily sedated post OP and endured a stroke in between all of this. ( not exactly sure when ) besides that, the surgery was successful and doctors were pleased with the results. After 12 long days days in the ICU he finally moved floors, and made his way to a rehabilitation center (inside the hospital ) to learn how to walk again and strengthen his left side, which was effected during the stroke. He was 100% mentally there. He was in the rehab center for 3 days until he suddenly went into cardiac arrest. Doctors said it took about 20-30 minutes to get him back, before he went into cardiac arrest again. This time it was much shorter. It's been 9 days and he is no longer on sedation. He is on a CPAP and triggering all his own breaths. He opens his eyes, twitches, blinks but that's about it. He doesn't track, or listen to commands. He gets an MRI tomorrow to assess the damage. I guess I'm just looking for some insight, advice or to hear someone relay their miracle story. I know every brain is different but I'm wondering what's considered a " normal " time frame for him to be making progress if he's going too?

Here's what happened: So I, a 15M, have a class at school called "Media Studies", or MS. I was in there, doing my assignment, with my friend, who I'll still call William, a 15M (and yes, he's now doing fine after the attack). My teacher, who we'll call Mr B since I genuinly forgot his last name, came over to me and said "What are you doing?" I responded saying "Sir, I was doing my assignment, as you told us to." I was startled by the sudden yelling as I've experienced lots of yelling throughout my life and don't take it well. I went outside anyway, following Mr B.
When we got outside the classroom, Mr B said "Listen here OP, I know that you were talking. Now be honest before I sent you to the RTC room", RTC stands for Responsible Thinking Classroom by the way. I gave him a "screw you" type of look before saying "Alrighty, listen here, mate. I was never talking. There are security cameras, microphones, and witnesses to support my claim. I never talked, I don't talk during Media Studies due to you being so damn strict." Mr B then yelled at me, telling me that I can't 'disrespect' him because of his 'status' within our school community., I was go pissed off, and almost went into a BPD episode, but then the HoS (Head of Students) came in and said "Mr B, come with me immediately. OP, calm down, we don't need any BPD episodes right now." I managed to calm down as Mr B was taken away. I heard our HoS scolding Mr B for what he did, as our HoS was watching everything on the CCTV footage and listening to the microphones. I never ended up getting in trouble, but we did get a sub teacher for the rest of the lesson.

Hello reddit, I'm using an expendable account so as to not have my name tied up in this for embarrassment sake.
I'm 20 and male. I met a girl a little over a month ago and we started dating and having sex. We dated about a month before it became blaringly obvious this wasn't gonna work out. She started her last period (menstrual) on the 24th of april and it ended on the 28th. The last time we had sex was the 28th after bleeding stopped.
Fast forward to May 12th, exactly two weeks since we had sex and her menstrual ended, I receive a text saying "hey OP! hope everything is well, just so you know i'm taking a pregnancy test today because i missed my last period, and i figured i should tell you because you were the last person i slept with. i'll let you know how it goes". I call her and ask her how she's missing her period since she just had her last one two weeks ago and while dating she told me she had normal routine periods. She tells me her app says she's 3 days late.
She takes a pregnancy test. A clearblue brand one with the blue plus and it comes back negative with a very very very slight positive line, however the test window is super yellow. Like it looks like an old test yellow. I ask her if she has another and she says she's out and then a minute later texts and says she all of a sudden found an extra. She takes it 10 or so minutes after the alleged first one and jt comes back completely negative but this time the test looked normal. The window was white.
A series of conversations have occured since then and I will summarize some suspicious topics overall:
-She texts me on mothers day (May 12) about possibly being pregnant
-she texts me that she has a suspicion, before she even took a test
-claims she's 3 days late 14 days since her last period ended. -the first test is super yellow and looks like an old test with an evap line and yellowing
-i wore a condom, she claims she has an iud, and I didn't finish in.... so I don't understand how this could even be possible
-says she doesn't have a second test and then suddenly finds one
-she held me on the phone call regarding the possible pregnancy and discussed our relationship and got me to apologize about it ( I mean I apologized naturally but I think thats what she wanted)
-she adds me back on snapchat out of the blue today (may 14th)
-I ask her to keep me updated on period. She texts the next day and says she started cramping pre menstual but then today she texts me out of the blue and tells me she was blackout drunk last two weekends and is worried. She then tells me she stopped cramping today and might not be having a period.
I'm absolutely petrified that she's pregnant, but obviously with how safe we were that seems to be impossible and the timing of her cycle. Nonetheless running through every scenario in which it could have happened. Everyone in my life thinks she's seeking attention or trying to get back with me and there's no way she's pregnant. But I'm not entirely sure. Looking for someone on here to weigh in. Much appreciated.

i am level 133 and have almost 500 hours in the game, i was copper before ranked 2.0 and solo que but now with my duo ive climbed all the way to silver. i really. REALLY want to actually improve. so does my duo. but it feels impossible and like the knowledge creep is faster than i can learn. i warm up with arcade and do 1v1's with him. i practice my recoil and tracking but it all still just feels like shit. emptying half a mag into someones chest and not getting a kill, then they hit 2 shots on my legs and its gg. so i try to keep my mouse positioning head level and anticipate where i want to aim before i peak a corner. still gets domed by someone in spawn with ACTUALLY no recoil. but its not been for nothing, i still have a 1.2-1.4 WR and a 1.1 kd this season, he has a higher wr on average but only a .8 kd. we both practice with the ops we play the most and a lot of the time our silly shenanigins gets us wins, but thats slowly come to a halt and idk what to do, neither of us are burnt out (at least im not and he is always saying how much he wants to actually really get good). i have a good setup and ok ping, i just dont know where we are going wrong all of a sudden, dropping donuts and losing game after game after game. usually we have a game or two where one of us pops off and ends up as top frag, but again, thats been slowly stopping and i REALLY dont want it to. i dont want a cure all or someone to tell me that the ranked system is jank, im fine with climbing slowly. and ive watched dozens of videos on how to improve and do my best to take them to heart, im thinking of maybe hiring a coach to watch us play and give feedback but maybe that can be done with a vod review. idk where to start, i dont want our progress to stagnate and i wanna know where we are going wrong

for some background, we started working together about a month ago; the organization is focused on youth development, and a part of that is developing leadership skills. I’ve always been naturally very quiet and avoid being center of attention as much as I can. As I’ve been able to get closer and less shy around my crew I work with, I’ve been getting more and more active in group discussions. My coworker, Z, is the opposite; super talkative and outgoing guy. We both have the same position as members and no prior experience with the org. Recently he’s been cold calling on me during discussions if I don’t have input right away/ volunteer to lead group activities immediately. When he does this it makes everybody turn to look at me and forces me to do something. I understand why he does it since I am one of the less talkative people in the group, however there’s another member on our team, who is equally as quiet and I have never personally seen Z call him out to participate. The two crew leads we have don’t cold call on me the way he does either. It’s been confusing since I do participate in discussions when I have something new and of substance to say; along with activities, it makes me uncomfortable to lead them but I know I should every once in a while. This has been making me feel singled out and like I don’t have the autonomy to participate for myself since Z will call on me before I can even get the chance to say something on my own.
Today Z worked completely separate from me and rest of the crew, I haven’t spoken to him once but when I was asking my coworker during lunch why his sandwich bread looked like it was put on upside down (silly I know) he said something along the lines of “gosh, OP is so argumentative today!” (This is not the first time he has said that either) one of my team leaders clarified I was just being curious and he dropped it. When Z does things like that or calls me out I try not to reply anymore but it’s been bothering me more and more everyday it happens. I’m debating talking to my supervisor about it but I’m worried of it becoming a big thing. Z is objectively very funny and likable so I’m worried if the rest of the crew finds out I’m having an issue with him they’ll start picking sides or start disliking me in turn. Again, the org is also focused on leadership skills so it could just him exercising it. We never work together and I’m so much more familiar with everybody else on my team so it could be that too. I’d appreciate any form of advice/perspective on this, there’s a couple very arbitrary reasons I don’t like him besides what I just mentioned so maybe this is me just trying to pick out more issues. Hear me out on this, been thinking about this concept for a while. not sure on the grenade pistol since that one can be a cheat or too OP carrying way more grenades.
The concept is this for regular sidearms that makes it fair and not too OP or nerfed. . .

• You can only pick up the same sidearm you carry.
• Accuracy is the same as Exo-suit where its along the side of the cross-hair center.
• You have now 2 guns but also takes twice as longer to reload.
• One handed perk is will be optional depend on the sidearm.
• Hip shooting will depend on the sidearm.
• Ammo you carry will be shared or equalized depends on the mags it carry but it won't doubled.

I love playing couch co-op games with my homies especially since its so rare these days that games even facilitate that. but having access to the odin 2s giant swathe of games has opened a new world for couch co-op. My only issue is figuring out whats the most cost efficient way to play these games on a tv screen. I watched gaming corps review on the original odin dock and the input delay would be a no go for me. theres not alot of information out there so I was hoping you excellent gamers could help me out.

With that being said let's get to today's vote!
Today is day 28 of tier voting and today we will be talking about the OG Ghost Pokemon from all the way back in the first generation that has long been a fan-favorite and competitive staple. Gengar has a typing that was unique to its evolutionary line all the way until the generation 9 DLC added the mythical Pecharunt with the same type combination. On top of that its base form has a really good Special Attack stat and a very good Speed stat to go with it despite being pretty frail defensively. Its Mega form boosts that Special Attack and Speed to ridiculous heights and even gives it a little more bulk to work with as well. On the flip side, this game gives its Dynamax form a little different stat spread which trades off some of its Speed to give it some surprisingly solid bulk on a Pokemon which hasn't been known for its survivability historically. Gengar has a good movepool with good coverage even before this game gives it even more options to choose from in the form of egg moves. Although its Passive Ability isn't the greatest (mostly since it doesn't work on Boss Pokemon, however it does synergize with Mega Gengar's ability well) with those stats and movepool it really doesn't need its Passive to still be strong.
(Please note that Pokemon with Mega/Dynamax evolutions will be tiered as one Pokemon and not tiered separately for their Mega/Dynamax form. Different variants such as Alolan Persian vs. Kanto Persian will be tiered separately however.)

S tier: Top tier, can make or break your entire run, essentially the cream of the crop
A tier: really strong but not quite top tier, maybe slightly outclassed or has a slight weakness holding it back
B tier: solid choices that can make it to your endgame team, might be reliant on team composition to truly function well or might just be outclassed as well
C tier: usually early-mid game Mons, ones you don't really want to take to end game if you can avoid it, usually pretty decently glaring weakness but something redeeming enough to keep from F tier
F tier: no reason to use in end game unless you're doing it for a meme/joke
Abstain/No Opinion: this will be a voting option mostly just in case someone accidentally votes and then can't remove their vote (I've noticed that happens on Reddit sometimes) or for Pokemon people haven't unlocked/used to their full potential yet. If Abstaining votes outvote each individual tier then the Pokemon will be tabled for the time being and another vote will open up for it later (can mostly see this happening with Legendaries).

Zekarias peeked out from behind the door, watching the assembled legion.
"I cannot do this."
He turned and smiled at his Hammer, resting his usual gentle hand upon her shoulder.
"Can't implies an inability. You have the ability. But compared to the likes of Horus and Fulgrim, public speaking was never your forte."
Ferra snorted as she stood up, her necrodermis hands resting on the door console.
"Have you any advice for me, Anvil?"
Zekarias smiled before locking eyes with his lover.
"Be honest. Be your usual, blunt, and frustratingly honest self. Sincerity is a strength. Especially when tempered with tact. But I won't instruct you any further on the things you fail to grasp."
Normally, Ferra would scowl and tighten her grip on Forgebreaker. But to Zekarias' delight, Ferra Manus laughed, using her hammer as a support.
"Indeed! Perhaps I should've made you my scribe instead to craft those lavish speeches to sway my sons!"
"Ah, but then who would stand up to you and insult you into making better decisions?", Zekarias retorted.
"Don't make me coat your hands in Necrodermis, Anvil."
The man made an exaggerated gasp and clutched his hand to his breast.
"Perish the thought!", he exclaimed, "For whose hand would your new ones hold in the morning? Where then shall I get my pleasure of stroking your face at night before we rest after a hard day's labor?"
Ferra scoffed at his theatrics and bid the machine spirit to open the door, her thoughts straying to her Anvil's advice.
"Be seated", she bid her sons. As they did so, she gazed at their shield arms. All of this. To honor her? After the last battle brother had taken his seat, Ferra returned her attention to the congregation.
"I have heard reports of late, indeed spanning centuries ago during the Great Crusade, that to honor me, you have been removing your arms and replacing them with augmetics. While I am flattered that you wish to be like me and possess iron hands of your own, there is a fact lost on you that has twisted your ritual to honor me and turned it dangerously close to a mania."
"That fact is quite simply that these are not my hands", she continued, gesturing to her necrodermis arms, "These hands are strong, to be sure, and I have created a great many things for Mankind. And that counts for something. You forget, my sons, that the silver on my arms comes from a beast I vanquished. It is the mark of a great evil that I ended, and yet it persists within me."
Ferra paused to collect her thoughts, catching Zekarias' eyes gleaming with pride.
"I would have struggled to remove them then. I did not remove them because I had learned to depend on them. The fault was with my mind. I had relied on the augmention given to me by my metal gauntlets, so much so that the flesh beneath them was little more than a distant memory."
Another pause to collect her thoughts, remembering her second most sacred oath.
"For many decades, there was not a way for me to remove the metal from my hands. But I had sworn long ago that when the time came, and a cure found, that I would strip the unnatural silver from my arms and instruct you, my sons, to do the same. For by relying on the metal and works of the machine, we have begun to doubt the natural strength of our bodies. Hatred of what is natural is the first and greatest of the corruptions. I bid you, my sons to recant the gifts of the machine and relearn the mysteries of flesh, bone, and blood."
"Yes, indeed", Ferra said as she began to wrap up her speech, "In doing so, I shall weaken myself and the legion, but nevertheless, it must be done. For these iron hands have created great things, but they are not mine."
Ferra awkwardly left the podium, leaving most of her sons in confusion. Of course, she informed the Dreadnoughts and the Iron Fathers of her decision, and both stood behind her decision. But what if..?
"And you said I was good at speeches", Zekarias chuckled. Ferra huffed and extended her hand.
"Are you ready?"
Ferra paused before the door to her personal chambers, a whirlwind of thought racing through her mind.
"I don't know."
She gazed playfully at her Anvil, looking him up and down.
"But what I know for certain is that tonight, my hands will be of flesh and bone again. I will want to experience touch again. I will want to experience you."
Zekarias laughed as realization of what his Hammer was saying dawned on him.
"I suppose I'm not the only one doing the stroking tonight?"
Ferra shook her head and opened the door.
"Come. For in this forge, the Hammer must fall upon the Anvil and create something beautiful and natural. Indeed, for I will show you why the Iron Hands were not made for rest."

I have been learning rust for a while now, I believed if there’s a project that I can work on would be a great way to implement the concepts I have been reading. I come from DevOps/SRE background, in my line of work it’s common to deal with remote hosts, configure/run automation etc., in short, running commands on the remote hosts. So I have made a project for myself to work on during weekends and late nights, create an application which will be running as a service on remote hosts and users can submit commands to it instead of obtaining a session, with this idea I have started to write code and it is finally at a stable state now: https://github.com/chandrakanthkannam/run-it
This application runs on a remote host on specific port and users can submit commands via http instead of getting a session to it. When running remote hosts in a private closed network, this can be useful tool.
The main drive for building the application is to learn rust, and I have definitely learned things while implementing the concepts I have been reading on rust docs. I just wanted share my experience and motivation which lead to build ‘run-it’

I know I said in my last update that I would not reach out to any new leads for the moment, but I couldn't resist!
So I won't go into too much detail, but I found a new lead that seems promising and I wanted you guys' opinion.
So I was looking up variations of "Belarusian indie rock before:2011" and "Minsk indie rock band before:2011" on YouTube (which as another user pointed out was how the Kenya Dance song was found). I stumbled upon this YouTube channel for an act called Dreamlin based on Minsk, whose title reads "Dreamlin: We have a band and sometimes film others." I thought, "Okay, what are these other bands?" In their videos, they have some songs by a man named Andre Karp and his bands including Pranayama.
Here is a live performance of a song by Pranayama called "What Am I Got to Do If I Love You?". If you ask me, I think the drums and the vocals sound similar to WMT (at least more similar than most others I have been listening to).
So I said "Why not?". I reached out to Dreamlin with a general inquiry via email, and to Andre Karp and Graffiti Bar Minsk (the venue where the live recording was made) via Facebook Messenger. Dreamlin responded to my email very quickly saying simply "no idea, sorry". I have not received replies from Andre or Graffiti Bar and I do not want a lot of people reaching out to them (especially since I messaged Andre's personal Facebook account).
So what do you guys think? Here's some more songs by Andre: "Like a Stone", "My Sweet Sister", and a documentary he was in called "Made in BY" about counter-culture in Belarus under Lukashenko's government. This very well may not be WMT, but either way I do like Andre's music.
