I enjoyed watching it a lot on my first go, but there were lots of stuff I wish happened/didn't happen.

1. I don't really care for Benedict's subplot, I feel like every season he's just doing the same thing without any payoff. Maybe it's because I just haven't read the books and don't understand him enough? He's a fun character for cute family moments though.
   
2. The Mondriches... I love them. But given how short 4 episodes felt, this subplot is just one I honestly could do less of 😭 I loved seeing them winning, but please just let this man work his bar and live the noble life at the same time!!
   
3. I think (hope) that this is just a part 1 thing, but I feel like there was not enough of Lady Danbury, Queen Charlotte, and Violet. I NEED VIOLET'S GARDEN TO BE GARDENED SO HARD.
   
4. I LOVED the Fran subplot. I honestly don't mind that this is the main b plot, Fran is just so sweet and likeable -- as well as John. He is such a weirdo for running off but 😭😭😭 give me an acts-of-service man ANY DAY. He is such a breath of fresh air among the slutty men of the ton, and I believe Fran deserves the BEST. I also love that she is so into the pianoforte and just wants to get the marriage thing over with😭
   
5. Colin is giving ICKKKKK 😭😭 BUT I GET IT. When this man winked in episode 1 I was gagging and not in a good way. I was begging for him the whole time to just be back to the sweet Colin that he is, because this man is no rake. I just felt so bad for him because he was trying so hard to be more like his brothers and other men who enjoy the fuckboy lifestyle but brother this is noT YOU 😭 I think we finally saw the real Colin come back in the carriage! I can scream about this all day.
   
6. Penelope deserves a big hug 😭 (in the early episodes) and a restraining order from her mom. God I was in so much pain for her and Eloise in their scenes... even more than the Colin scenes tbh. I honestly think her great love in life (albeit not in a romantic way) is Eloise. I also think Debling is HURT (or at least his ego is) and actually liked Pen, but just passed it off as wanting a practical marriage. Please let me marinate in my delusion.

Homeworld 1 had 3 sets of rules how hyperspace could be interrupt 1: Power requirement is needed for how far it can reach if power is not met during hyperspace it stop working 2: If an objects have gravimetric anomaly AKA mission 6 and 15 with big asteroids, planets, or big ships 3: Wavefrom effects in gravity generator like Gravwell, Hyperspace Inhibitors, blackholes will interrupt hyperspace jumps
Homeworld Cataclysm The Naggarok use an experimental hyperspace drive that got pick up by the beast and its only time an hypersapce entity like that been recorded in the lore
Homeworld 2 Progenitor tech with cores and ships work different when standard drives in hyperspace, 1: Progenitor core are the only ones that can do far-jumps in hyperspace while standard drives have to do short-jump and wait to recharge 2: Progenitor core in Deserts of Kharak can pull ships into the planet materialized/crush into the sands, 3: Progenitor core give ageless immortality to those who are link up to it, 4: three cores plus Sajuuk can hyperspace from the center of the galaxy to Hiigara in 1 jump bypassing gravimetric anomaly and gravity generator, 5: Other ships around the Progenitor core can far-jump along with it
Homeworld 2 a big gameplay mechanic in hyperspace was change frigate and capital size cant jump on they own they need Hyperspace Module then you can jump as long you are close to that ship compare in homeworld 1 any frigate and capital size can hyperspace but this was for gameplay reason nothing to do with the lore in HW2
Hyperspace drives are to big for strikecraft and always need to dock in Frigate or Capital class in order to travel on hyperspace

The Hyperspace Core in the original Homeworld was a copy of what was found in the Khar Toba and it's size was increased 12 fold to accommodate the mothership's mass. So if the core is proportionate to the mass of what needs to be moved this would make hyperspace jumping a moon impossible without a core of sufficient size
When the Kalan Carrier materialized into the asteroids Imogen is surprise they can do that even though Rachel in Deserts of Kharak record and log the effects of the Core pulling ship the same way then later at the start of mission 12 Imogen mothership can do the materialized without any explanation in how she can do it
To explain how Hyperspace tunnels work cause homeworld 3 didnt, the writers taken the gameplay change in HW2 for hyperspace and made it into the lore, the Gateship is a acting hyperspace module sending others ship that cant jump anywhere in space, the problem with this is she seems to know stellar object positioning across the galaxy at all times and can open hyperspace tunnels to use them as weapons. Karan needed the mothership sensors and fleet intelligence in order to do jumps.
It was never stated that you can hyperspace objects without any type of hyperspace systems that is attached to the object, its been always needed a drive/core or gate to move in hypersapce for example strikecraft is always needed to dock before jumping or they get left behind, There no explanation how the queen moving things through hyperspace its just made up
If the queen get the 3 other cores to get infinite power that can move the stars how can 3 cores of the queen plus karan other 3 cores have the power to move stars by going the core proportionate to the mass with the Gateship is far to small for this
In mission 11 Engineerings said they needed transfer significant personnel to get Khar Sajuuk combat-ready but imogen can use the hypersapce bandwidth to move it dont know what that even means like control the system with hyperspace this was never use in past games cause Karan could of use that to being the pride of hiigara with them not leaving it behind at Balcora Gate
The Incarnate Queen seems to be able to see the entire galaxy in real time, how she does this is not explained, it extends beyond the areas that are under her control. She seems to know stellar object positioning across the galaxy at all times and can open hyperspace a great number of tunnels with pinpoint accuracy to use these objects as weapons, some videos appear to indicate she is using solar flares.
===Incarnate queen plans make no sense===
Using hyperspace as a weapon sound like a good idea but the big problem with that is Hyperspace Inhibitor is a thing that most factions can use even pirates, back in homeworld 1 the Taiidan made massive ones near Hiigara to stop anyone from hyperspacing on top of the planet
After she defeats karan and the fifth fleet just full on stop to continue controlling the gate network and just waited around for 20 years then attacks the galaxy with hypersapce dont know why she waited that long
First she want the 3 cores to unlock the gate network even though she already have complete control of it force you to go where she wants and she can use hyperspace tunnels
Second she want to more Navigators to rule beside her cause she feels lonely even though Bentusi were around as long as her
Third the 3 cores dont unlock the gate network it was Sajuuk the Key ship to have access to the network her plans completely apart without it and she never mention Sajuuk in anyway to her plans
In mission 7 you abuse the incarnate by the gate with many turrets and mines if the queen can use hyperspace tunnels to send them why use the gates the incarnate lost many ships
The Sybthetic Cores are a complete copy of the Progenitor Cores so why didnt the Queen was able to do the same thing getting infinite power for the hyperspace gate network
The Queen wants imogen to find Karan so she can find the Cores but in missions she trying to killed imogen mothership in every opportunity possible
===Hiigaran command plans make no sense===
After karan mothership and the fifth fleet went missing against The Anomaly so what is the next step command takes is waiting 20 years for The Anomaly to return sending a half working mothership with no fleet support to stop it where karan and the fifth failed
Command use the Sunrise on Kharak Protocols to cut all communication between you and Hiigara until the mission is complete which is dumb cause karan and the fifth failed why do they think this plan is going to work this time cause after beating the incarnate you are trap in outer-ring with no way back
Karan ask of you to dismantle the cores so the queen cant get them but we been shown that the cores are indestructible with surviving in crashing into the angel moon and bentusi self-destruct that disable a Keeper ship for awhile
Karan with doubt is leaving a message that only imogen can find with the lullaby taking over 20 years with luck which is out of character for a S'jet compare to Rachel brother who was capture by the Gaalsien making a sure plan that she would get the message to activate the ion satellite
Karan hide not inside the ice put park on top of a ice cliff for 20 years how didnt the incarnate found it with that much time
===Technology is ignore==
Hiigaran had Progenitor technology for years due to Sajuuk that you dont see being use it until the last mission with karan mothership has it but imogen mothership got none of it even though the ship is the sister class to it
No one used or talk about Hyperspace Inhibitor to stop the Incarnate using hyperspace as a weapon cause that would fix alot of problems
Cloaking/Sensors Distortion tech is gone forcing you to use tunnels to sneak around the enemy and there a stealth mission you have to use ice clouds to hide from the enemy even though cloaking/sensors distortion could of been used in past games
Hyperspacing is a big part of the lore and gameplay of homeworld but in 3 you dont even to use it in campaign or multiplayer
Incarnate ships are using progenitor tech but none of that was used in homeworld 2 that could of them fearful and powerful but still get beaten by a far weaker race
Defense Field Frigate or Defense Pod were important to protect your fleet from damage Hiigaran copy the technology from the Taiidan how useful it was during the Homeworld War
EMP use by ACV in Cataclysm and scouts in homeworld 2 can stop even capital class ships to bad that gone for HW3 scouts and only on the incarnate disruption corvette
===Past events is ignore===
Sajuuk is not just only the most powerful ship in the lore but its the key to unlock Eye of Aarran gate network to traveler other far away places, its just gone and ignore due to could of fix most of the problems you run into the story
Bentusi is one of the oldest ageless races next to the Progenitors who give technology to other races to uplift them to be part galactic trade routes then create the Galactic Council to help keep the peace
The Galactic Council is made up of 16 independent nations 2 of them is known Hiigarans and Taiidan the other 13 are unknown while the Tobari had some concept art or lore from dust wars
After the Vaygr war the council/nations were beaten leaving the taiidan republic and hiigaran still standing leaving up to Karan with Sajuuk being the Age of S'jet to rebuild and peace for many years
Homeworld 3 Hiigarans are the only ones fighting this Galaxy Size Crisis no other nations are mention to help out just left out
Incarnate queen dont even talk about Bentusi even though they are also space navigatotimeless race traveling around galaxies so why she didnt try to reach out to them long ago
===The new narrative of The Navigators===
The title Navigator was neven used in past homeworld games just Fleet Command of those who became part of the mothership systems
In homeworld 1 Karan was first to be part of the Mothership system to help with the mass data only a human brain can handle becoming Fleet Command while Fleet Intelligence make the analyze or tactical plans of that data.
In homeworld 2 Karan being connet to the Mothership hyperspace core give her immortality she cant age like the Bentusi hitting how the Bentusi got they immortality with Progenitor Core for discovering it first before anyone else
In homeworld 1 and 2 there was some type of close range communication telemetry with karan when facing the taiidan Emperor or Vaygr Makaan
In homeworld 3 being part of the hyperspace core give you more powers beside ageless immortality like telemetry with other Navigators during Hyperspace, seeing and feeling the galaxy through hyperspace, if more cores are use could move the galaxy at will with thought
===So many repeated lines that dont work===
sands and sinners, may the burden remain, Akadath Ferin, survivor and chains, and to be Hiigaran is to never be alone are phrases that never used in any homeworld game before just modern bad writing
In homeworld cataclysm did use phrases as will with context and fits in like Kharak forgive us, Martyrs of Kharak, Kiith's Blood and its not over used compare to homeworld 3

Basically, me and some friends want to play something simulating a Holy Grail War from the Fate franchise. Pvp focused, and i'll be DMing.
The starting idea is that each player will control both a Servant and a Master, and that any open slots will be filled with some NPC competitors. We'll be using DnD 5e as a base, and LetThemPlayGame's system to make the Servant sheet.
I've already made some maps, and have been bouncing around ideas in my head, like, how should i run it? Everyone on a single call, or maybe everyone in separate discord chats until their characters interact?
Honestly i need some suggestions in how to run the admin stuff

Wow, what an impressive update.
The last time I played ES2 was after it went to full release. My last update here was about how I finally pushed through and completed lunacy 1000 with my striker. At the time, I was one of the very few players who had accomplished it as evident by achievements. It was extremely difficult and took many tries. Once I hit that personal milestone, I found the endgame content had dried up. In my post I submitted feedback that endgame should be continued and expanded.
Incursions is everything I asked for when I signed off a year ago. This update breathes new life into Everspace, further fleshing out end game content for players and providing tons of new ways to play. I am so glad they knocked this out before releasing new paid DLC that extends the story.
Between the armed and dangerous and incursions updates, I had a lot of new content to digest. I was pleased the developers automatically upgraded all my prior legendary items to radiant, as it saved a ton of time. While farming all the new gear, I also realized that I was missing nearly half of the mainframe expansions. I figured there was no way I was going to be able to reach my new goal, lunacy 2000 without reliquary, unless I was 100% upgraded, so I did fucking EVERYTHING to upgrade my ship. It was nice revisiting a lot of the old locations and using the discovery map feature to track everything down.
Finally, after a few weeks of grinding, I had my ideal ship. I’ve never been a “meta” player and I knew doing things my way instead of the optimal meta way would be impossible for me without it.
So my striker has 100% starforged, catalyst upgrades, 3 active items sets, 4 radiant legendary, perfect passives and full mainframe expansions. I am an energy beam lover in any game. If you can shoot a beam laser in a game, that’s what I play. It’s one of the reasons I love Everspace so much. Unfortunately, beam weapons aren’t the most powerful, and since I don’t use aim assist on principal, enemies can sometimes be challenging to keep a bead on. Especially those damn raiders.
Well, after many tries and some luck, I was finally able to beat lunacy 2000 today with no reliquary. I am so happy with this accomplishment. I tried so many different strategies, delicately turning the knob between more damage and more survivability, until things finally worked. The boss fight was intense as hell. All consumables used, emergency shield glowing, no rockets left in the barrel and cooldowns all blown. I can proudly say I did the entire run without any cheesy tactics, and instead was constantly brawling toe to toe, utilizing all the strengths I had acquired for my ship. It was one of those few times in my gaming life that I took a screenshot at the end to celebrate.
Now that I’ve hit my goal I plan on experimenting with some fun builds and ships. I’m curious to see if I can push the envelope with some other play styles. I also wanted to share some thoughts and feedback, in no particular order, on the updated content.

• IMO incursion difficulty is right on the money. Extreme incursions on nightmare difficulty should be the hardest thing you can do outside of rifts, and they are. Enemies can hit for over 100k damage, effectively one shotting most ships. If you don’t invest in damage reduction, or min/max your stats, these events will be extremely frustrating.
• This game has excellent save scum prevention. Re-rolling stats, for example, cant’ be save scummed to get different rolls each time. However, if you find yourself hunting for a specific legendary item, it’s convenient to have 2000 tears of the mad, which can be used to save scum peak into the reliquary and then reload your saved game.
• Some clarification on stat calculation would be nice. For example, it would be nice to know if bonuses are additive or multiplicative. A classic “character sheet” would go a long way in clearing up buffs etc.
• If a “character sheet’’ isn’t feasible, how about a training dummy? Training drone, maybe? Let me just beat up on Hive a little. For science.
• Equipment loadouts would be nice in a future update for QOL.
• Escort Duty 2 piece gives 25% bonus to resistance stat, but the bonus only apples to the base? This should be updated to reflect increases from other equipment bonuses as well.
• It’s really hard to justify not using the Union Eclipse set. I think either this set needs to be applied to more weapon types or taken out entirely. 30% damage just for switching weapons is just too good to pass up. Or, create more unique weapon sets that compete.
• Catalyst: Barrage going into full effect at 10 seconds is not worth it. Maybe if there was a wind-down on the buff so it wasn’t lost immediately after you let off the trigger. Rapid and Powerful are almost always better.
• Equilibrium special effect doesn’t justify a legendary, especially with thundercore and nexus heart as competitors, not to mention the 4 legendary item limit.
• Ragnarok could be amazing but if you do area damage it becomes almost worthless, and who isn’t doing area damage? Using a flak cannon, after a few shots I’ve exhausted my destabilize buff on everyone with no hope for the legendary item to re-apply it when I finally get a chance to focus them down. Let Ragnarok reapply destabilize but have an internal cooldown, otherwise this item seems worthless at higher difficulty.
• All large ships, with the exception of the Okkar corvette, drop way too fast, while the Okkar corvette can be actually near-impossible to kill. There needs to be more balance in large ships and bosses.
• Speaking of Okkar, are you kidding me with Prime Protectors? A single prime protector can ruin your day. With a reflect build, I watched a prime protector destroy me, and an entire enemy squadron in less than a second on lunacy 2000. I understand some ships should be challenging but this bastard has been terrorizing the game for far too long. Yes, I know they already got nerfed. They need more nerfs.
• Rift difficulty with reliquary doesn’t appear consistent. I know this is anecdotal, but I’ve had times where a reliquary, which should make me overpowered and the rift extremely easy, actually made it way harder than if I didn’t have a reliquary. For example, enemy damage and HP seemed 2-3x what it should have been. I take off the reliquary and do the same rift level and can win without a problem. Other times, things work as advertised and I’m able to mow down rift progress like the game is on easy mode. I have no clue what is causing this discrepancy.
• Lastly, there is a YT of a Chinese player effortlessly clearing lunacy 2000 with an interceptor. I’m not sure how legitimate this is. If it is legitimate, then nerfs are in order, maybe no longer allowing a player to 3-stack zero-k boomers. If it isn’t legitimate, well then cheaters never prosper.

Could I have handled this differently?
I am a 29 female, mainly working for myself and with a family member from time to time. I have a couple of activities in the evenings that I do for myself after my work day. A friend from one of my activities passed away on May 8th, 2024. I take care of animals (horses, dogs and cats are my main clients), I watch after and take care of these animals while their owners are away, elderly or when a family emergency happens, I do my best to be there for them and their animals.
I'll try to pack as much detail as I can but keep it fairly short. I've been doing this kind of work for about 3 years all together. One of the people I have worked with is moving on in years has some mental handicapps and an aging dog. The owner, (I'll call her M) has a small breed dog 12yrs old. I have helped them since I started working in this field. I started out walking the dog a couple times a week every couple of months. And about 18months ago M had surgery on their eyes and I began feeding and walking the dog. Part of this dynamic is that every few months they have a bad go of things and I get the burnt of frustration, hurt (emotional and mental) along with the degree of their physical pain verbally thrown at me. I have my own mental challenges mainly anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and depression (treatment is a work in progress for myself). After each of these "episodes" I feel tremendous dread, anxiety, hesitation, and a great level of doubt mixed in with a fragile state of confidence. But each time about 5 to date I have attempted to work through them, things even out then another episode. Important additional information: been feeding the dog since the start of the year when M had a medical emergency. (2x daily, with short walks weekends included)
This last one, I had a flexible schedule for the day (Saturday) and M has always had a window of time for me to be there in. Was with another client dog on a longer walk and thought I had committed with M that my timing for the day may be a bit different than what we normally planned. I get done with the walk to see I didn't actually send the message. I communicated then that I was on my way. From one client to the other is about 40 minutes with good traffic. I got to M's house an hour after when I would normally be there. I enter and see M struggling to prepare dinner for the dog. I ask if M would like me to take over along with the first of 4 apologies. I did, then walked the dog as usual. Was asked by M to come talk, so I sat with them. Where I was burated/scolded for my conduct for 10 minutes, then went to bring up my over all character and ethics. Some things that M said are as follows " I don't pretend to know your ethics and how to tend to run your business, but I am disappointed and feel violated by your conduct" and " I don't care about my comfort but when my dog becomes uncomfortable and is verbally expressing their need to go out I can't condone it" and i quote "I am fragile and not mentally able and to feel taken advantage of, is unacceptable". M continues on in the same tone. Spaced in between these comments I apologize, owning the fact that "I should have called or confirmed that my message went through. That I can only aim to be better, learn from this situation and that sometimes us humans make mistakes but all we can do is learn and move forward". M then states " I am unsure if I feel comfortable with continuing with you or finding someone else would be better. I don't have many friends that are able to help me and I have come to depend on you. I am dying and need more consistency in my life." I responded "I am sorry to have you feeling this way, but you need to do what you need to for yourself and your companion. I feel that given your tone and phrasing that you have made your decision and I will respect it and no longer have you as a client. With this said I need to leave for my next meeting." I received a message from M the following day asking me "If I could come gather a sample for their upcoming vet appointment. That they are sorry for being harsh and disrespectful. That they have no one else to help and that they hope we can possibly talk about continuing on with me providing care for their dog." I responded "that I no longer feel comfortable with being a provider for their dog, that I don't feel safe in the environment. However if she needs the assistance that I will be there for the dog, they have done nothing wrong. But I will administer care and be promptly leaving." M respected my response, but the day of my being there asks about "the usual walk and feed on Saturday this week." I responded with " I will get back to you, I have another meeting in 40 minutes."
My family says that I made a situation worse, that I was unprofessional and that M's mental health was negatively impacted.. I'm not saying that they are wrong about the mental health part.. but where does my happiness, mental health, and overall well-being come into consideration?
Was I unprofessional and at my wits end or did I protect myself? Could I have handled this better?

And I have to say the 2nd, 3rd(besides the last 2 episodes) seasons was a waste of my time.
Only started getting interesting with the world building half way through the 4th and then 5th season and actually have more interesting character development.
2nd, 3rd was just a awful trauma loop I skipped alot of it because it was just horrible and frustrating to watch I just didn't care anymore. I was about to quit half way through season 3.
Wish they spent more time with June on the outskirts working with the resistance and then her family on the outside adjusting and working more with the eyes and what's left of America.
Loved the ending of season 5 and interested to see how the story develops with June and Serena working together (maybe). Their dynamic was always interesting to watch and kept me on edge. Idk how a sociopath like Serena still managed to evoke empathy from me also while having none for June in some parts. Crazy how a show was able to do that

Today after finishing Persona 5 Royal, I completed Persona 5 strikers. I feel there is an empty void in my life now. The Phantom Thieves really stole my heart. What a great written story arc. Iam really going to miss the adventures I played trough, but I will have some really good memories about these games (both Royal and Strikers where my introduction to the IP).
I know there are other spin offs but the gameplay and artstyle just don’t give me the vibe I got with Royal and Strikers.
I’ll take a little break (cause these games are looong!) and might jump into Persona 3 and 4. But for now I just wanted to share my appreciation about this amazing game(s). Everyone who loves a good story with great characters and has not touched these games yet is really missing out, easy top 3 of my favourites of all time 😉

One of the age-old questions of the Internet that still persists to this day is one with many layers. It confounds the jobless, strikes fear into the hearts of those with multiple Reddit accounts, and makes even the seasoned interactive text-heavy visual and audio lawyer entertainment enjoyer question if the truth is worth seeking: “SO I JUST HAD THIS SHOWER THOUGHT, RIGHT, SO LIKE WHAT IF TGAAA 7 TOOK PLACE WHEN WOROLD WAR 3 IS HAPPENING, LIKE COOL, Y’KNOW, AD THEN THE GAME IS ABOUT WHO DIES LIKE IN MY LEAST FAV GAME Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc? so who dies in the game, guys :BrushelSmile:? Aaaaand ‘Post!’”

No, I’ll actually be honest: these days, I have no clue what anybody online or otherwise has had to say about this series in damn near half a year if not more. I no longer give a fuck about having a stake in anything Ace Attorney unless it’s an actual release that I can judge for myself at this point. I’m well and truly over the period where some of my most crushing sadness was motivated by not everybody liking the thing I like enough, and that’s exciting. But it also means the end of this rankdown will be like the end of a very long, laborious era in itself. So as a special treat, consider this following cut not just dedicated to Susato, but to many of the women in her role across Ace Attorney history.

The core reason why Ace Attorney might just have an assistant problem is more of a byproduct of the series’ formula than anything else, and no, it’s not because of any interchangeable similarities in each of their characters per se. It’s more about how, especially in comparison to the male protagonists of each game, the arc of their woman assistants is generally muted almost to the point of being treated as afterthoughts. Both Athena and Rayfa, simply by virtue of having arcs with allusions to their stories being present elements that are worthy of focus throughout their respective first appearances instead of only being mentioned in the eleventh hour, are characters that represent a huge step forward for a series for which this should ideally equate to a small step. However, like as not, for much of their appearances, these assistant characters typically end up filling a role, intentionally or otherwise, as stand-in mothers, sisters, or girlfriends for Ayana more than actual characters, the emotional struggles of Maya and Trucy in particular only ever being deemed relevant towards the end of the final cases of AA1, T&T, and AJ. But just take a timeout for a second, because as much as I’ll continue to speak on this issue further, let’s not be unfair: it’s worth noting that “the series formula”, places men in a similar but more escapable conundrum.

The terms and conditions for defining what constitutes a “filler case” is not universal, but it’s very easy to see what would be considered a “main plot case”, and thus what could be “non-essential” for a given AA main plotline to function. But from a character progression standpoint, each male character that has been slated to have a massive character-defining arc receives the vast majority of that development over the course of a single case each, and any exceptions are rare. AA1 Edgeworth in 1-4, Phoenix in 2-4 & 3-5, Godot in 3-5, Apollo in 6-5, Ryunosuke in TGAA2-5(??), etc. Obviously character-defining moments will mostly be in the finale and of course there’s brief instances of foreshadowing to set up the background for each of these developments, but because so much is weighing on the final cases to do all sorts of heavy-lifting, the protagonists themselves can feel like real deadweight on a case-by-case basis until they very suddenly have a story where their specific presence as characters matters (particularly Phoenix’s role in 3-2 and 3-3, as well as Ryunosuke throughout much of TGAA2, stick out as examples for me where playing as them feels like going through the motions). I highlight this to suggest that, despite the fact that final cases may be exceedingly long, the assistants are not the only characters competing for relevance in the surprisingly tight window of these final chapters. The difference, however, is as I’ve already stated: the protagonists largely are given greater opportunity to have their conflict be foreshadowed, lightly or otherwise. A brief flashback to Phoenix’s class trial and a few sentences about his resulting personal conviction in 1-2 informs his character early and presents an incident to be expounded on later whereas Maya is left with an sudden and just as abrupt inferiority complex and overt depression arc for all of one case, and 5 hours of her continued presence elsewhere never presents anything about her inner world that’s deeper than the surface level (despite her supposedly having that depth). Only one of these arcs from AA1 is out of nowhere and could be reasonably described as an afterthought. The disparity between the relevance and tasteful treatment of the protags’ stories as opposed to their assistants’ has subtly existed since the series inception, so as the subject finally pertains to Susato herself, the actual truth I intend to divulge here is that this gap has become the widest it’s ever been, and at the perfect time for it to suck the hardest.

The Naruhodo bloodline may have a family allergy, but what is expressed about Ryunosuke’s life and journey in Great Ace Attorney: Adventures gives him one of the richest internal progressions of any lawyer, each case being an essential, valuable experience in defining how he thinks about his profession and who he will become. Ryunosuke provides a generally strong point of view to see each case from, meanwhile, with the exception of her reaction to Kazuma’s death and yet again a sudden inferiority complex to occupy the distant background of the final case, I could be fooled into thinking that Susato doesn’t have any interiority at all. Cut to the second game, and even in a different circumstance where Ryunosuke himself feels as though he’s playing second fiddle to more interesting characters, even when the Mikotoba history is more paramount to the plot itself this time, Susato’s presence once back in England is made even more concerningly irrelevant – her father coming from behind and almost stealing her thunder entirely. It’d be staggering for this character that tries to symbolize the new outreach of women’s rights at the turn of the century into someone so easily removable if it wasn’t so unsurprising. Anyway, what’s important is she’s nice and has a real job, unlike you.

His 26th film. Based on stories from the 2000 collection Rope Burns: Stories from the Corner by F.X. Toole, it stars Eastwood, Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. The film follows Margaret "Maggie" Fitzgerald, an underdog amateur boxer who is helped by an underappreciated boxing trainer to achieve her dream of becoming a professional.
Paul Haggis wrote the script on spec, and it took four years to sell it. The film was stuck in development hell for years before it was shot. Several studios rejected the project even when Eastwood signed on as actor and director. Even Warner Bros., Eastwood's longtime home base, would not agree to a $30 million budget. Eastwood persuaded Lakeshore Entertainment's Tom Rosenberg to put up half the budget (as well as handle foreign distribution), with Warner Bros. contributing the rest.
The film had an incredible run in limited release, breaking many records for Eastwood's career. It eventually earned a fantastic $216 million worldwide, becoming his highest grossing film ever. It received critical acclaim, and it was named as one of his greatest films. It won four Oscars: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (for Swank), and Best Supporting Actor (for Freeman). Eastwood became one of the very few directors to make two films to win both Best Picture and Best Director.

I have had many resumes thru my short career, yet have never bothered putting any soft skill at all in it. I’m in the opinion that most soft skills just take up valuable real estate on your resume for nothing.
1: Soft skills should be shown thru interviews and included subtly in descriptions of past jobs instead of just being a bullet point. Anyone can put “time management”. That’s worth jack if you show up 5 minutes late to your interview. And if you show up 15 minutes early anyway, then they’ll know you must have decent time management without you needing to put it on your resume in the first place.
2: A lot of soft skills can’t be proven before starting the job. For instance I have Python and Financial Analysis on my resume. Interviewers can, and have, ask me specific questions about analysis or Python to gauge my actual experience. It’s much easier to bullshit a question like “how would you handle a touch coworker” than “explain which Excel functions can slow down large financial model recalculations”.
3: more so for people with a lot of stuff to cram into their resume, it’s so much better to even put volunteering work than soft skills. Volunteering work speaks more about your character than “•honesty” ever can. I’d go as far to say HOBBIES are a better thing to put than soft skills.
I’m not an HR professional though so I’m open to debate.

Let me start out by saying I started out a new SSF journey for the first time ever in my 20+ years of playing this game back in January I’ve only done online ladder & nl up to this point but I wanted a fresh restart and solo farm. So my main build right now i s a lvl 94 lightning Sorc, I also have a smiter I made for Ubers and a blizz/fireball mf Sorc I made for extra socket quests and to farm nm Andy for sojs..
All my toons are fully geared, everyone has a torch & anni and pretty good high end gear (infinity, hoto, coh, grief, exile, cta, etc. you name it i got it!) the last & only thing I’ve needed for my main character was a griffs so about 3 weeks ago I decided to drop everything Ive been doing on the game and exclusively farm for it.. and so I’ve been relentlessly farming pindle, pits, thresh socket & other t85 areas and my favorite tz spots but no luck
Fast fwd to today TZ Andy was rolling around from 1-2pm and I was home today so I had it all planned out, was going to get the kids down for their naps right before 1 and go nuts for an hour.. well 1pm rolled around and things didn’t go as planned and I wasn’t able to get on until 1:40.. corruption was beginning to fade I gave up hope with 5 mins left.. then Andy dropped me this beauty! Never have I found one myself before only have acquired online via trades and I couldn’t be happier
Now I’m speed running a barb through norm because I’m out of socket quests and I want to do a barb at some point so I can drop a nice 5/5 lightning facet into it and be on my way!
