Hey guys, I know it would be easier to just get a whole new laptop but... other than this charge issue I have a perfectly good laptop. At least good enough that I wouldn't need to buy a whole new laptop cause ya know... inflation and bills and stuff. My laptop still works, it's really cool and I don't really want to buy a new laptop unless I absolutely have to. Honestly, it's been around 2 years so I probably wouldn't get a new laptop anyway... but having one around would be nice since I have a preschool child and am in a coding bootcamp.
So the details: The laptop is a Lenovo Yoga (ideapad) 700-14isk. My laptop was purchased around November of 2016/2017. It ran perfectly with literally no issues up until sometime in 2020/2021. First the battery started dying really really fast. I ordered a new battery and when I went to install it I thought to power cycle the laptop. When I did that the original battery was working just fine, so I returned the new battery and it was working just fine. I don't remember exactly when it happened, but 2022ish? the laptop stopped charging and I didn't realize it until the battery died. I recently ordered another new battery, installed it and the laptop works. The problem is... The battery won't charge. Before the new battery died (because they never send a battery with full charge), I did go to the Lenovo website and they suggested a driver. I thought it odd, but went to the Lenovo center anyway and did a scan. Lenovo said all that all the drivers were up to date. Since it has been two years of course, there were a ton of windows updates and was midway through those when it died. I tried resetting the batter power settings back to the defaults and all that did was make the battery die faster. I knew that the port was loose, but when I was working on figuring out the problem, I noticed just how loose the charge port was. I though maybe I can just replace the charge port and it should be good, but I wanted to check with people that actually knows what they are doing. Disclaimer, a new charge port is only $10 which won't break the bank... but I wanted to check if that is actually the issue before buying yet another part.
Why I think it's the charge port:

1. As I stated, it's loose, but that could also be missing screws?
2. I have checked several different outlets in my house (as I did years ago when I also replaced the charger), and none of the outlets mage my poor laptop charge. I , but Reddit won't let me post it because it isn't a gif. If anyone could help me out... I would really appreciate it!

I'm trying to verify the incoming request host dns entry matches another one. If it doesn't I want to silently drop the connection. If the connection matches, I want to redirect the subdomain to an internal domain. Ie requests come in with the host value sub1.external.com:443, ssl is terminated, and then gets forwarded to sub1.internal.com:80 with proxy-protocol enabled. This is what I have so far, wondering if this is right or if there is a way to simplify.
Specifically I'm not sure how to forward with proxy protocol to the new host. I'm also not sure how to drop the connection silently as possible.
Also note, the resolver will have heavy caching so its just doing in memory lookups most of the time.

This is a long story and if you do read through it and can offer advice it would be greatly appreciated.
I can't find too much if anything similar to my experience. I'm wondering if anyone heard about this and any advice?
About 6 months ago I got a call on my phone from RBC on the call display. It was spoofed but I didn't know it. The person on the phone asked me if I used my debit card to purchase an iphone in Ontario. I said no, and he said it's not a problem these things happen all the time, they will cancel the purchase and send me a new card.
This is not too out of the ordinary for me as I had my credit card have unauthorized purchases several times in the past. The weird thing was this time it was a debit card.
Then he said he can not ask my debit card number but a recording will follow and I should key in my debit card number. This was my major mistake. I know never to give a credit card number, PIN or password but for some reason I never thought of my debit card number to be a major issue. Like what if I lost it?
Anyway after I did that he came back and I asked him to mail the new one to my bank. He said no he would mail it to my home and told me my very old address. I told him no, it's unacceptable mail it to my bank branch like always. He then hung up on me. I didn't give any other info.
Minutes later I got an email from RBC saying my password has been changed! Then another saying my email has been changed. I quickly tried to login and couldn't so I called RBC Security.
As I was talking my email inbox got 1000's of email newsletter sign up confirmations per hour. About 12 000 in total by the next morning. It's a business email so it ruined everything and I couldn't find legit emails but that's besides the point.
The goal of doing that is because it was their hopes I would not see the emails from RBC.....but lucky they came first. it's called a Spam Bomb.
RBC Security said they would help me change my password back and I was able to reset it. Only minutes later while still on the phone....I had logged out and then tried to log back in....And he said this is strange. he put me on hold. He said there was someone on another call with the call centre claiming to be me and getting the password changed! He somehow was passing all the authentication and fooling the agent into changing the password.
So he put a block on the account meaning nobody can call in. Not even me. No passwords or access codes, nothing. The only way I could deal with RBC is going into the branch.
No money went missing. I guess I caught it just in time. Nothing was changed in my accounts. But I still cancelled all my credit cards and got new ones. And I got new account numbers for my bank accounts.
As I had to do this at the branch it took several visits and anytime I needed to ask a question Id have to go in person. I changed my phone number and even to do this in the back end systems beyond online banking I had to make an appointment. Fun fact RBC has to wait on hold forever also, no special access lines.
After changing my accounts I changed my phone number because they kept calling back. Changing your phone number nowadays is a major undertaking as I have 100's of websites many with 2 factor auth that I had to change. I also changed all my passwords unique without any matching.
After all this....I travelled to Japan. In fact I travel 6 months of the year to many countries. I decided to log into my online banking using a VPN. Big mistake. The system thought I was fraud and it locked me out. And I can't call! Luckily I have an account manager who knows me well and we could verify that way but most people don't have this.
Another time my debit cards weren't working anywhere in The Philippines and I couldn't call in. It was Christmas and my account manager wasn't available for 4 days. I had no cash. What a disaster.
So when I got home....I had to take this call block off. It's just not working. It had already been 2.5 months and my computer was factory reset, I purchased a new phone. I had really done everything I could.
I travelled to several countries and no problems, everything is working normal and perfect.
I take security very seriously to the point of paranoia. And I also know all the scams. I don't get fooled easily and used to have a hobby to mess with the scammers heads. But even this I don't do anymore because they probably put me on some sort of list or something.
Since then Ive been very private.
Then yesterday....I get an email saying my email has been changed. Lucky no spam bomb. I tried to log into RBC and it didn't say wrong password, it said account it locked.
I called RBC Security and they said I need to go into the branch with ID and they wouldn't talk to me.
I did so. They said someone called in and passed the verification. And convinced RBC to reset my password for them. This is infuriating because there are notes saying that I am a victim of account take over and to proceed with caution.
Again no money is missing but I need to change all my accounts and cards again. And I'm leaving to Africa in a few weeks.
I now have that call block on the system and can't release it otherwise the scammers will just call back and convince RBC to change my password again. What can I do about this?
I had the idea to change my debit card number. They will change the account numbers and credit card numbers but not the debit card number. Changing this number I think will solve all my problems. But no matter how far I escalated this. They won't do it. Not a chance. To me it seems the most logical way to start fresh as they are using that info to the agent.
So I opened a new account with another bank. I'll use this as a travel account and fund it with what I need. But with RBC I have many investment accounts, business accounts, several high end credit cards. You name it. And TD banks credit card for travel doesn't seem to match the power of RBC Avion which I accumulate tons of points with my business. Which is why I can travel so much! So in other words it's not easy to switch.
But anyway Does anyone know how they are passing the authentication so easy? Nobody knows my 3 secret phrases. Not even my wife. RBC usually have voice authentication, I guess that failed. Or they recorded me?
And also the hacker originally repeated my old address but I never gave a new one. When I do call RBC they usually ask my address and things about my account that I am likely only to know. It's so strange.
How can I get out of this mess?
Does anyone have any success having their physical debit card number changed? Any other advice?
I feel one day if this keeps happening I could be out money.
Would I be protected and refunded?
While I admit I did get fooled into giving my debit card number it wasn't my pin or password and they were the ones who tricked RBC over and over. And Ive taken all reasonable preacuations to secure my account since then.
However having this severely restricted account where I can't call in and since I travel 6 months per year as you can imagine I can't do this long term.

In my apartment the bathroom exhaust fan and the dryer vent all merge together before going outside. 2 Bathroom Exhaust fans both merge into the dryer vent before running outside.
I know this isn't up to code... but how big of a deal is it? It's an electric dryer for what it's worth - but does this mean that the dryer lint is getting pushed into my inside air?

I just finished Doom 64 the first time and so I decided it would be cool to look at some of the trophies and cheat codes, among them, they talk about two levels, “Fun” and “Hectic”. I completed Fun but I don’t know how to get to Hectic. Is it in the Lost Levels set of missions? Hey everyone, I'm back for yet another daily guide! Sorry I didn't get around to one the last couple of days - I tried on the 14th and oh boy was that hard. I gave up half way through because I ran out of time! Thankfully this one is much better because I still had my sanity by the end!
As we've previously found, reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). As per usual, sorry about the reloads - it'd be much easier if there weren't any, but I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload. Also there's at least one place where I've said to quit to menu and continue - I don't think this is the same as a reload, so maybe don't reload and just quit to menu instead?
Also, as we've found out, it looks like different browsers have different RNG. I use firefox when making my guides, but if you use chrome, there may be some small differences here and there. If you do use chrome and have some differences, let me know - I'm trying to get some evidence so I can figure out what the changes are and see if there's a way to nullify them so we can have a single guide for any type of browser :)
I haven't had a chance to fully test this yet, but I've got a test going in the background. Until then, there might be some reloads or whatnot that I've missed
ALSO ALSO: we're still trying to figure out exactly what the relationship with reloading is. For now, if when you need to reload, reload once you've chosen your pokemon for the battle, as, on average, that's when I would reload. I don't know if it'll make a difference, but it can't hurt to try and see what happens :)
As per the others, I'm still learning about all this, so sorry for any mistakes I've made - I probably missed at least a couple of reloads, but hopefully I got the majority of them.
A couple of things to note: There's a DNA splicer on wave 38 rewards. I've never used it before and asked the discord who would be some good options to use it for, and people were saying it probably wasn't worth it. If you want to fuse some things together though, go ahead! I will say that if you do, I got offered a Garchompite on wave 41, so if you want to fuse two pokemon together, make sure to do it with garchomp first. That said, taking the DNA splicer may change your rng so you may not get the garchompite, but I'll leave that as an experiment for you to test :)
Lastly, it seems like there's a bug in the game - I've heard it's best to change the "EXP Party Display" to "Normal" as if it's not on normal, sometimes moves you've learnt will disappear when you exit to the menu.

• This depends on how much time you have to dedicate to re-rolling. In general, all three of the beginner banner characters are great, and you have options of doing shortelonger re-rolls, as per this guide.

Q2. Why is my answer incorrect in for the trail puzzle?

• Try to answer with proper letter casing - the answers are case-sensitive.

Q3. When is the daily reset?

• The game resets at 10:00 UTC, please refer to this timer.

• Yes, pity should transfer over to the next banner of the same type.

Q5. How should I build my team?

I’m a high school freshman (15M).
I was caught with pepper spray in my backpack this week and was suspended for 4 days. My hearing is on Friday.
I was passing through the density detectors in our school when they went off suddenly. The detectors can be really sensitive at times and they go off even if you have binders or books in your bag. My bag’s been checked before without issue but this time they found my pepper spray.
The person who found it didn’t think it would be a big issue but I was later told to see the assistant principal in his office. They made me write a statement about why I had it in my bag. The school is known for how shitty it is and there were about 2-3 gun sightings in the first month of being there. To cut it short I wrote that I heard the place was dangerous and thought I needed protection.
I’ve been bullied in the last 4 years by one guy. We fought in 5th grade and I’ve attempted to ignore him the last few years. In 8th grade he assaulted me for getting his attention so he could get out of my seat. Ever since then I’ve been avoiding him and even changed classes. I’ve been carrying the pepper spray for peace of mind. I told them all of this and they made me give them a name.
They then brought me to the principal where I explained what I wrote and why I felt this way. They were more upset at the comments I made about hearing about fights and the unreliable density detectors than me carrying the pepper spray. They had me suspended until Tuesday and told me that there would be a hearing this Friday. My school allows students with high grades and little absences to be exempt from taking the exams. Having this many suspensions means I have to take them if I am allowed to remain there.
My family is relatively chill about the situation and are trying to fight for me. According to their code of conduct “Weapon Possession” typically results in alternative school for a designated amount of time but depending on the circumstance could lead to expulsion. My mom was already planning to move out of our house and probably change schools as well. So having this happen during the last week of school sucks.
My aunt and uncle are involved with the school system and are telling me to write a statement. They also said that the lightest I could get off is disciplinary probation.
My family is telling me to say that I lied about being bullied to get a lighter punishment and that I had it for protection because I live alone with my mom and I made a mistake bringing it there. They also said that repeating anything I said in the previous statement would only lead to them throwing the book at me because it implies intent to harm another student.
The pepper spray was in a pocket in my bag that could be overlooked among the abundance of other zippers surrounding the bag. I think I could argue that I forgot I left it in there while trying to hide it from my parent.
Any advice on how I should move forward and how this may affect my future with colleges and such will be greatly appreciated.

A bright flash of blues and whites spat a greyish black object into normal space a mere one hundred Clicks from physical asteroid cloud that provided a natural barrier into the Lurix system. USN Olyvia’s drives instantly flared to life, and she made for the outer edges of the asteroid field with a purposeful stride. The senior Crew was at hand, having alternated shifts so they were well rested for this endeavor. Captain Correllus Grarzia shifted in his chair slightly, watching with interest as his star helmsman switched from his standard control configuration to a more “analog” twin joystick and pedals. ‘The kid really should be piloting a fighter’ he mused just as the young lad turned to look at him. “Ready, skipper”

“Take us in. All ahead slow.” Cory ordered calmly, before keying up the ship wide broadcasting channel. “This is the captain. We’ve just entered the Lurix system. Rig for silent running. I repeat, rig for silent running.” All across the ship, nonessential systems were shut down; their lack of electronic signature aiding the stealth coating on the bulky former troop transport. In engineering. Patrick, Cammy, and the rest of their section powered down a large portion of the larger systems onboard.

Life support was set to emergency backup, with old school oxygen candles lit in special housings that allowed their life-giving emissions to be circulated throughout the ship. Each major section of the vessel had their own supplies of these low-tech solutions, and Olyvia carried enough of these candles to survive for several days without functioning life support if needed.

Only a few were lit this time, using them as an augmentation to allow for minimal use of their perfectly functioning life support systems; and Cammy returned from the compartment just in time to aid in shutting down two thirds of Olyvia’s fusion reactors. This was not usually part of the silent running protocol, but Cory had added it for this mission. While they knew where their target would be, they still knew very little about what defenses awaited them inside the system.

Patrick keyed up the mic, “Engineering reporting in, silent running.”

*acknowledged* came a voice back. And Patrick leaned back in his chair just as Cammy arrived. “Well, that’s that.” He sighed.

Cammy stepped behind his chair, rubbing his shoulders for a second, “candles are lit. Two per section. At this rate we won’t run out for a year.”

Patrick chuckled, standing before looking over at his team, “sandwiches are in the mess hall. Half go now, half after. We’ll wait and go with second shift.” The team nodded and soon. The room was half as full. “Hurry up, and wait” Patrick mused, and turned to the rest. “Hold’em anyone?”

Over the next several days, shifts were kept short with a high rotation frequency. Olyvia picked her way through the natural minefield created by a destroyed world, slipping between the dead planetary shards with deadly caution. She ran quiet, with all but minimal deflectors shut down, and a single detuned laser online on each of her flanks as a last resort against impacts. Cory, Jesse, Patrick, and Cammy met regularly to keep tabs on the ship’s progress. The admiral’s transmission had reached them in time, and the four of them, plus Jacky when she could pry herself from the infirmary, worked to formulate a plan to get into the freighter without killing everyone. They had Hera and Jacobs reports, but those reports also admitted to a certain degree of incredible luck on their part. Things could have gone very differently, and the murder of the freighter during the admiral’s capture operation hinted at a change in tactics from their foe.

Mackenzie’s Privateers had liberated several freighters since they began operations, keeping to their cover as “pirates” by leaving nothing big enough to betray their secrets behind. A few of the other captains had left pieces of inoperative Unity tech, strategically damaged and jettisoned after the fight, as red herrings to convince both the Vorath, and the Thermians that these “pirates” had somehow gotten ahold of Unity warships.


Cory stepped into the cargo bay to meet Patric and Camorra. They were tinkering, carefully he hoped, with one of Olyvia’s harpoon missiles. It was a project triggered by Cammy’s brilliant, if outlandish, idea. “We know these freighters all ran the same codes, and the same infrastructure in their computer cores. Why can’t we hack it. Human computing should be perfectly capable of it.” Cory remembered her words as he stepped up to the two, “at ease” he waved them away as they threatened to salute him, “how’s out little project coming.”


“See for yourself” Patrick smiled handing him a data pad.

Cory took the offered device, quickly scanning through the data, “All I see is Olyvia’s system logs. Did you give me the wrong one?”

Patric smiled evilly, “that is coming from the missile, we found a common power regulator chip that dam near all Delmar freighters use in their integrated core management. Our mole here mimicked that regulators protocols to get into one we installed in a conduit over there” he pointed to an open panel. “It’s designed to cycle through several common chip sets and protocols to get access.”

“You hacked Olyvia?” Cory asked, eyebrow raised in a combination of amusement and irritation.

“Well, “Cammy said calmly, “we had to test it, and Oly’s the only ship close enough…”

“I see…” Cory mused, “it will have to do, we will be reaching the edge of the field in three days, how many of these can you have ready?”

Patrick scratched the red stubble punctuating his jaw line. “Hmm two, maybe three, including that one.” He winced at his captain’s expression, “took us a minute to get the virus right, sorry.”

Cory sounded to himself like a broken record, “I guess that will have to do as well. I’ll leave it to you.” He turned to return to his office but was interrupted half way there by an urgent request for his presence on the bridge.

Jesse rose to greet him as Cory stepped into Olyvia’s command center, and he nodded towards the ready room off to the side. The two of them quickly stepped inside and Jesse closed the door. “Jesse, what’s this about” Cory asked, settling into his desk chair.

Jesse, his first officer, and battle born brother looked at him seriously, “The first of our stealth probes have made it into the system proper….. It’s not good” He tapped at his data pad before handing it to his captain, “The enemy is doing something big down there, and we don’t know what. What we do know, Is that there are three heavy cruisers in orbit, and three more destroyers in floating patrols around the system.”

Cory scrolled through the pad as his first officer made his report, pausing at the same information on the planet’s surface, “These are military installations. This makes no since. We haven’t had a use for Lurix in millennia. It’s always just been a haven for aquatic and semi aquatic species. Why didn’t our intel warn us of this.”

Jesse nodded grimly, “I don’t know for sure, but I have my suspicions.” He reached over, tapping at the tab to open a particular file Cory had yet to find. “We found these in orbit as well.” He pointed to a pair of Delmar constructed freighters, parked in orbit over the marsh world. “I authorized a single transmission to a single drone, uploading Patrick and Camorra’s hacking program into it, and we sent it to one of those freighters... this is what we found.”

Cory opened the indicated file, and felt bile rise in the back of his throat as he watched. “Ready a tight beam, send it back the way we came, Towards Simo.” Jesse looked at his captain in understanding. The risks of transmitting this close to the enemy was a grave risk. Measured against the information they just witnessed; however, it was an absolute necessity. Jesse took the offered tablet, “The Admirals need to see this…. Both of them.”

Clint Stevens groaned as his communicator beeped from his desk. It was a very early morning on a weekend, and Frie had let Natalie stay at her grandparents for the weekend. He quietly slipped from the entanglements of a profoundly comfortable Delmar goddess he had somehow been gifted with as his wife, and silently cursed the inevitable destruction of his plans. The Com was linked to his computer console, and Clint tapped the file as he sat down.

The file opened, beginning with a grim looking Corellus Grarzia who made an intro statement that froze Clint in his thoughts. Before he could begin to prepare himself, images flooded in that turned grogginess into razors edge consciousness ringing with a white hot fury. Frie was ripped from her slumber instantly, reaching for her biometric pistol safe as a response to the unbridled rage she experienced from her husband. It took her a moment to realize that they were not being attacked, and she rushed from their bed, neglecting even basic decency to be by his side.

The two of them watched the Horrors unfold. Children… small children of multiple different races, stacked in a freighter’s hold like cattle, being thrown food like one would an animal. Massive screens played, promising safety and full bellies should they only but kiss the hand of a severe looking Vorath female. All who had not, were treated to daily ice cold sprays mixed with random beatings. He watched as desperate older siblings attempted to shelter their kin from the abuse, often times paying the ultimate price for their valor.

Clint and Frie were spared a further assault on their senses by a beeping light, indicating an urgent call from Clint’s adopted brother. Frie slipped out of view, reaching for a night gown as a furious Mac, accompanied by an equal parts shocked and livid Lyrian, appeared on screen.


“You’ve seen it” Clint stated. There were no barriers between them, no formalities. Only pure truth.

“I have,” Mac rumbled. “Why is it always kids..”

Clint shook his head, “I can have a battle group there in two weeks. It’s not soon enough, but.”

Mac nodded sharply, “I’m redirecting everyone not on critical missions. Simo and Kid are already there with Olyvia. Wisconsin is enroute. We will await your arrival….. Clint…” Clint’s eyes met Mac’s in a joined promise that reached across time and space.

“No, there won’t.” Clint answered, responding to Mac’s unspoken statement.

A week later, The Chancellor Thomas Durrant of the Sol Federation perused the latest transmissions from Unity space. He was due for reelection this coming fall, and it was a close race. His opponent was labelling him a Warmonger, as he was an outspoken proponent of a more active role in the struggle against the Vorath, and it was working. The points were closing in the polls, and The Chancellor had not come out on top with the latest debate results. Humanity simply was not interested in further conflict. For the first time in human history, the vast majority of the Human race was content with peace.

The Chancellor took a sip of his mug as he opened a file from Admiral Stevens marked priority, but not top secret and promptly spit the contents in his mouth back into the mug. It was a complete file on some kind of intelligence operation, and Durrant almost wondered if it had been sent to him in error. The gruesome cover video dispelled that notion as the leader of Humanity itself watched horrors thought long dead play out in front of him. Several minutes later, he closed the file, and opened a message prompt.


“Viktor, are you up.” He typed.

*Yea, Tom. I’m up, the campaign ain’t gonna run itself into the ground.*

Durrant snorted at the dark humor, “Viktor, I was sent something. It changes… everything” he typed, attaching the cover video, and the longer form surveillance recording he had found inside the file from Clint. Several minutes passed in tense silence before…

*Jesus Christ, Tom.*

Tom Durrant took a long slow breath, “Do you still have your man at The Post.” He paused before sending, knowing what he was asking.

*Yea… yea I do, Tom. Are you sure you want to do this. This has ‘it will blow up in my face’ written all over it.*

“I know, but this bigger than me. Do it, and announce a press conference to follow if The Post runs with it.” Durrant typed and sent the last message, closing down his console. He stood slowly, feeling his age for the first time in recent memory, and walked heavily to bed.

The Post ran with the story. In the next 48 hours, the “leaked” scenes of tortured children, some barely more than infants ripped its way into Humanities Psyche. The revelations of what exactly was going on behind Vorath lines assailed Humanity, spurring many to call for blood, and Others to cry hoax. Around and around the political commentators debated, and redebated the shocking footage.

Chancellor Thomas Durrant followed through on his word, and was now stepping up to the platform and the Microphone as promised. He stood there for a full minute, meeting the eyes of as many of the hundreds of reporters before him as he could. The weight of his expression prompted a flurry of flashes as camera drones captured the image. I’m a high school freshman (15M).

In 8th grade he assaulted me for getting his attention so he could get out of my seat. Ever since then I’ve been avoiding him and even changed classes. I’ve been carrying the pepper spray for peace of mind. I told them all of this and they made me give them a name.
They then brought me to the principal where I explained what I wrote and why I felt this way. They were more upset at the comments I made about hearing about fights and the unreliable density detectors than me carrying the pepper spray. They had me suspended until Tuesday and told me that there would be a hearing this Friday. My school allows students with high grades and little absences to be exempt from taking the exams. Having this many suspensions means I have to take them if I am allowed to remain there.
My family is relatively chill about the situation and are trying to fight for me. According to their code of conduct “Weapon Possession” typically results in alternative school for a designated amount of time but depending on the circumstance could lead to expulsion. My mom was already planning to move out of our house and probably change schools as well. So having this happen during the last week of school sucks.
My aunt and uncle are involved with the school system and are telling me to write a statement. They also said that the lightest I could get off is disciplinary probation.
My family is telling me to say that I lied about being bullied to get a lighter punishment and that I had it for protection because I live alone with my mom and I made a mistake bringing it there. They also said that repeating anything I said in the previous statement would only lead to them throwing the book at me because it implies intent to harm another student.
The pepper spray was in a pocket in my bag that could be overlooked among the abundance of other zippers surrounding the bag. I think I could argue that I forgot I left it in there while trying to hide it from my parent.
Any advice on how I should move forward and how this may affect my future with colleges and such will be greatly appreciated.

I thought I was above falling for scams, that I was alert and careful about what I clicked and believed. But in the span of two weeks, I got my credit card locked and fell for one of the easiest scams ever. I’ve never felt more stupid and humiliated in my life.
So it all began with a text saying that I had unclaimed rewards points waiting for me to redeem. I actually did have points outstanding on an account, but I was curious why the balance was suddenly so big. Still, it was a great deal, I just had to add a a bit of money to get a smartwatch. So dumb me clicked the link and filled out the necessary information, including my credit card. I have 2FA on online transactions, and I immediately got a text that flagged a suspicious transaction for more than a hundred times the amount I thought I entered. Right away, I called the bank and locked my card. I thought that was the end of that, and I would be more careful about clicking things willy-nilly without verifying the site. I would be getting a replacement credit card in the mail and it would all be fine.
Flash forward two weeks and I get a call from my bank right before my lunch break, telling me that my new credit card would be coming in a few days time. But before that, they’ll have to give me a cashback on my accrued rewards points since it won’t be carrying over to the nee account.
Claiming rewards points? Huh, that was familiar. Oh well, there’s nothing sus about this. They gave me their name, after all. So what if they asked me to pull up my banking app and keep it open, coincidentally preventing me from checking my e-mails? I’d have to watch out for the money after all. So what if they asked for the last digits of my savings account or my username? They didn’t ask for the password. So what if my bank has said several times not to share OTPs or log in details ever? This was them calling me, after all.
Idiot.
I fell for the same thing twice. Somehow, despite having what I thought was common sense and self-preservation, I gave them just enough personal information for them to hack into my banking account. I willingly sent over several authorization codes because I was in a hurry to get something to eat. I ignored the part of me that questioned why they would need so much of my personal information. I ignored the world telling me that this was a scam — the call dropped four times and the authentication codes kept expiring. I stubbornly pushed through and got to watch in real time how a scammer got 30k out of me, all my savings for that account. They had the audacity to make the transfer’s description “thanks, ma’am!”. They even waited for my reaction before hanging up.
I thought I was smart. I thought I knew better, but I didn’t. I’ve never felt stupider and more humiliated in my life. I had to call the bank and explain how I was an idiot and fell for such an easy trap. I had to tell my friends that I couldn’t hang out because I didn’t have anything to pay for travel and meals with. I had to tell my parents that their supposed responsible kid let all their savings get stolen from them, and that’s not something they’re ever going to forget.
Not that I would let them. I deserve the reminder that I’m a reckless idiot.
TL;DR: I fell for the same obvious scam twice and all lost all my savings. I thought I was smart enough not to, but clearly I wasn’t. I’m fully aware that this is the stupidest thing anyone has done to themselves.

I don’t understand how people accept the mess that is this games net code and latency. I have never played a game as unresponsive and sluggish as 2k. It is actually mind boggling how few people ever bring up the delay you feel playing this game. Maybe you get used to it over time but it is actually unacceptable. I haven’t played in about 2 weeks and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this game has the worst latency I’ve ever experienced in my 22 years of life and thousands of hours on videos games. It is not even close. I am personally insulted for all the people who play this game and the people who spend absurd amounts of money on this game because this experience is absolutely abysmal. Howdy, y’all! I have a bit of a complex ask to propose, but I need help in simplifying a shortcut I have that deals with keeping me in check as far as daily activities, such as making sure I take my meds/supplements or brush my teeth (ADHD has been a bit brutal to me). I have a shortcut already, but it’s a bit on the rough side since I have no idea how to code to make it easier on myself. Here’s what I’m trying to do:
An alarm goes off that I’m unable to snooze, and I acknowledge it. The shortcut tracks the time and sends it through, and I’ll get information appropriate for that time via. a vocal reminder and a pop-up reminder. Right now, it’s a loooot of “if” statements in the shortcut, a lot of text boxes that feed through to the end, and loose time tracking (since I can only get an “if” statement to work with “contains HH:” with the HH being the hour in 24-hour format). I’m not even able to get the full extent of what I need out of this shortcut since I’m limited in knowledge and can’t figure out How To Shortcuts all that well.
What I’m looking for in this shortcut is: • Accurate Time Tracking, not By The Hour • Displayed and Spoken Information at Appropriate Time Windows • Easy to Modify in case of Medication/Routine Adjustment

Like the title says, pros and cons should be tied to MOs.
Obviously the pros of MOs rn are medals and spreading managed democracy to the galaxy and the cons of not completing them are we might eventually be fighting to defend the sol system.
But humans are notoriously bad at dealing with slow, imperceptible threats (think climate change), and really great at mobilizing to address immediate issues (think the massive manufacturing spin up during WW2).
So we need some immediate incentives both positive and negative to work for on MOs.
Here is the idea:
Planets have various research facilities, manufacturing plants or resources on them, and defending them or liberating them gives associated buffs and nerfs.
Some examples I thought of just off hand:
This planet manufactures 1/2 the total CPUs for turrets, losing this would increase turret cooldown (or decrease accuracy/fire rate, etc). Then there might be a planet much closer to home that manufactures the other 50%, so if we get beaten back that far we might lose them entirely.
On the flip side another MO might be: “our scans indicate this planet has an abundance of the plant used to synthesize stims, capturing this planet will allow us to send all helldivers into battle with extra stims if we liberate multiple.
The options are endless, from losing the planet that harvests ice for energy weapons and thus losing them entirely, to capturing an automaton planet with weapon factories that increases projectile weapon dmg by X%.
Pros of this idea: -Gets players really pushing MOs
-Gets players engaging with the lore and galactic war because it has an immediate effect on them. Helping keep the community thriving.
-Might encourage players who have completed warbonds and capped medals to work on MOs which benefits new players again keeping the community alive.
-Will serve as a “meta breaker” and encourage more play styles as weapons/strategems get buffed or added or nerfed or removed.
-Can provide an ingame/lore justification to patches
Cons:
-Player toolkit needs to be somewhat balanced, because you can’t have a weapon removed if there are no other viable options.
-More work for Joel
-Behind the scenes game/coding/engine/dev stuff I have no idea about

I’ve been tasked with a project at work to create a database in Excel to manage all grievances received by our company. However, the requirements are a bit specific and I could use some help from this community to get things right.
Here’s what I need to accomplish:

1. User-Friendly Input Form: I need to design an input form that allows users to enter data without interacting directly with the cells. This form should take the information and populate the corresponding cells in the database.
2. PDF Generation: Once the data is entered, I need a way to generate a clean and professional-looking PDF report from the information stored in the Excel rows. The output should be formatted nicely, similar to how invoicing software works, avoiding the raw cell format.

Specifics:

• The input form should be easy to use, possibly with dropdowns, text fields, and date pickers.
• The PDF should pull data from specific rows and columns and display it in a formatted manner, including our company logo and consistent styling.

What I’ve Tried:
