Months and years trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I have a great psychiatrist; I've tried many, many medications for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD. I believe I'm on the right meds bc when they work, they work well! The problem is that every month I cycle through ups and downs, and let me tell ya...the downs are lowwwwww. I barely function. I'm a mom and a yoga teacher, a student, and we're getting ready to move across several states. I struggle to make it up the stairs and sometimes just lie on my yoga mat, face down, and cry until I fall asleep. Reading these threads and doing my own research made me hopeful that my appt with gyno would go well today. I hadn't seen this doc and she's the head of the practice, so I thought I was seeing the most experienced and knowledgeable practitioner. WOW! She was terrible. Wouldn't even let me finish a sentence; wouldn't let me consider PMDD or PME (I think because she doesn't know what they are). She's a "hormone specialist" but didn't consider testing my hormones again since they were done in November. She didn't know what SSRI's were and had to ask the PA-in-training.
In the end she gave me a pamphlet for medical weight loss. I broke down and cried, which was embarrassing for me bc of shame stuff--to which she showed NO empathy, so I felt even more dumb. I told her my sudden weight gain was a symptom of something bigger and she would not listen to a word of it. She calls herself an OBGYN and hormone specialist, but I came to discover that she's mostly a medspa MD that occasionally delivers a baby or two. Still feeling hopeless and dreadng tomorrow as I know I'll wake up and hit my daily "wall" by 9am; after which I will barely be able to keep my eyes open. Can anyone speak to something similar? Any success stories showing me there is hope???

For American teachers, have you ever seen anything in your curriculumabout the nuclear testing the US did in the Marshall Islands?
I teach Micronesian history in the FSM, and after preparing lessons on this, I find it insane (and unsurprising) that there’s almost nothing about it.
We spend lots of time on the bombs dropped in Japan but the scale of what the US did in terms of the bombs but also medical experimentation, I believe, deserves recognition.
So, I’m curious, has anyone ever taught this or seen it even referenced in your curriculum for American History?

Hey everyone, looking at the title, definitely not my proudest moments haha… For context, i’m a STEM student, and obviously, I worked hard to be in my degree in highschool, and worked hard enough to go to a nice uni and do a nice degree. Recently, I’m enrolled in a physics class and have been cheating on weekly tests. I guess the moment I got asked “have u been cheating” and i replied “no?” I decided today, I want to finally change out of it. I’ve been cheating on my tests for 3 weeks, and, don’t feel great about it, in fact i feel disappointed. Because I normally don’t condone myself doing it, but getting good grades, gets to me and thus even if i study a lot i guess i don’t study correctly, because my efforts aren’t reflected in my grades.
I attempt to do the practice questions were given, but i’ve been stressed out of my mind, that I just cannot do anything without cheating in it. And honestly, I don’t want to make it a habit. To some extent, i’m a disciplined person, I follow my schedule , study when I need to study, and try to work hard. I really enjoy chemistry, and my grades truely reflect my hard work in my opinions But for physics, i guess it becoming difficult, made it so hard for me. I found it interesting, but i’m just having a hard time. there’s no one around me that can really help me, and also the fact that the center we have help with, they’re not the best.

So I've been on trt for about 5 years now. Few months ago felt not as responsive as much. Tried multiple different amounts and frequencies. Last few months I even added hcg. Still no improvement. Tried hcg at 250units twice a week, 500units a week, etc. Yes balls came back but still no libido and sense of well being. Even without hcg I've had great numbers. Test ranges from troughs of 600s to 1200s. E2 ranges from 20s to mid 30s. With hcg I was at 800 t and 23 e2. When I got on a few years ago I was probably just stressed with a failing marriage, overtraining, diet, etc. Don't get me wrong, I made great progress with the energy I got. Going from 170 to 195lbs and pretty lean at being 6 1. Fertility is not an issue as I've had a vasectomy and already have 4 kids. Im just looking to get my libido back, sense of well being, and not have to take cialis which I think no longer is as effective for me anymore.

Yes I workout 5 times a week, eat pretty clean, cardio with zone 2.

My last cycle was 28 days. I haven’t really been tracking my ovulation but given how my energy levels changed a couple of weeks ago, I really thought I had ovulated right at the 14 day mark. Unfortunately, I also had sex on the 14 day mark(protected.) I did have a cone biopsy 2 months ago, but have had 2 pretty normal periods since then. I’m at the 31 day mark since my last period now. I’ve had longer cycles, but I’m just a little paranoid. I took a digital test first thing this morning, it was negative. I am not having any pregnancy symptoms. I just wanna know where my damn period is. I’m honestly not even sure if I am able to get pregnant this soon after surgery. I just like knowing what’s going on with my body, and now I’m feeling really confused. Maybe I didn’t ovulate this time, but if that’s the case what is going on with the spotting since ~25 days?

 | A while ago I made a post about my subwoofer woes and recently wound up getting a used but in pristine condition M&K MX-145 subwoofer on OfferUp for $100. Once I got it home I did the sub crawl around the available spaces in my apartment and found what I THINK was the best placement, but I’m still not happy with the sound. I’m really having a hard time to get it to blend smoothly with my mains and when it plays sometimes it sounds “wobbly“ or maybe rumbly. Sometimes it sounds like it’s coming in waves instead of one smooth sound…It really doesn’t feel like the bass is “coming from nowhere”. I’ve tried placing it where my old subwoofer was and even placing it behind the couch in a corner, but it seemed to place my main listening space in a bass null void and the bass sound was TERRIBLE. submitted by xansabar to hometheater [link] [comments] I read really deep into it online and read sound some guides online. I messed with the gain switch and Audyssey calibration to get it to a -9.5 dB level, when I originally had it at the 12 o’clock noon “reference” setting that everyone says to start at I keep getting Audyssey levels of -12 dB which means it’s too high. I wound up having to keep the dial at about the 9 o’clock setting, anything else was waaaay too loud. I also tried the standard THX “80 Hz crossovers across the board” setting and it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. When I listen to frequency sweeps or test songs on YouTube the bass response is pretty smooth and doesn’t seem to be too wonky. Is there any way to fix this? I have attached photos of my Audyssey readings and settings, as well as pictures of my placement and listening space. Would a custom EQ curve fix this maybe? Is there no way to fix the sub in this position? Or, hopefully not, is there something wrong with the sub? I’m running with Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume both set to off, the bass became too much or seemed overloaded with any form of bass boost from them. I (f,43) met a lovely fellow online (38) on a friendship app. We switched to a texting platform and talk sporadically. We have never met irl and live very far apart.
Approx 2 months ago we started messaging regularly, but he is a parade of red flags : avoidant, ptsd (veteran AND wife cheated & left), uses sarcasm more than I'd like (which makes texting convos difficult) and self-professed unempathetic, temperamental and neurodivergent.
I'm no picnic myself, with : depression, anxiety, anxious attachment and overly empathetic. All things considered, I like him as a human and very much want the best for him. I also believe we both find each other physically attractive. However, I think he is incapable of wanting the best for me, which leads to other inconsistencies, such as texting / communicating (which is so challenging with him), a constant push-pull as he avoids me / disappears, seems sarcastic to push me away, then sweet (for him) as he kind of "pulls" me back in.
I put time & space between us. He contacted the very week was geographically relocating. We rekindled a bit and I asked if he wanted my new ph # (answering direct Qs.... Another one of his more avoidant areas). He said nothing and a few days later, he texted. I wished him a good summer and said goodbye. He asked why I was going NC and I said bc of new ph #. He then took my number and said I should "push my way in". I literally hadn't even fully asked the words "are you sure?" And he said "yes". I told him he would regret it (as I like to text) and he told me he doesn't regret things.
He texted a few days later so I verified this, asking againif he still wanted me to "push my way into his DMs". After ignoring the Q and forcing me to repeat it, he confirned Yes. I've messaged him "good night" twice and got back the hugest smiley face from him, so I know the bit I've given so far, has been well-received, but I'm still holding back.
He is a self-proclaimed avoidant and a dude, so I've always tried to be considerate of his time and need to be alone. I told him it works both ways and he could text me too, but, big surprise, mostly crickets.
Here's the problem : his messages are sarcastic, they feel designed to push me away, they're only a few words long...... ALL the things that scream "he's not that into you". Ultimately, I'm texting him more bc he's asked me to, but to what end? If he is going to continue to be kind of rude, I don't want to stay his friend. If he is so anti-social that he just needs to interact with me for practice with other women, then I'll step up my game. If he simply wants attention and validation from me, ain't nobody got time for that. I'd ask this shit of him directly, but I don't have pliers big enough to pull those teeth 🤦

To start off I am 18 years old as of writing this thread and five years ago both I and my brother were removed from my mother's care and placed into foster care. The reason being I ran away with my brother who was two years old at the time was because of the severe abuse and almost torturous conditions me and him were living under. Constantly beating, biting, punching and kicking me.
I remember on a few occasions were she beat into my skull with a metal spoon and I started bleeding and too matters worse this was before we were heading off the barbers so my hair was bloody and oily and it stung every time the razor would come into contact with the wound.
Things got so bad that I remember many times as a child being 8-9 years old and asking Allah why was I given such a horrific mother? What did honestly do to deserve this? even worse I asked Allah to end my life. My mother has been assaulting me since I was 4 years old. My younger brother was born when I was 10 and I remember holding him for the first time I've always been an only child so I was pretty happy to have a younger brother however who knew life would become increasingly harder after this
A year after my brother's birth she began
Whenever she was feeding him and he vomited she snapped and beat him like there was no tomorrow and there I was forced to watch the entire thing incapable of doing anything. I stood there and watched my baby brother being brutally beaten into submission and I couldn't do anything about it. This continue for about a year and a half and she advanced to hitting my brother's head and choking my brother in order to prevent him from throwing up but that just made it worse but then again it also lit a spark in me and the possibility of maybe running away.....
I thought about it over and over and was a very dangerous task to do but I couldn't,
I couldn't watch my brother being completely dominated like that. I grew numb to the beating I got; I didn't mind it anymore but not my brother, watching him hopeless like that was worse than anything my mother ever did to me. I planned everything out and ran off with my brother unfortunately we were caught by my aunt and you can guess what happened but I ran away again with my brother until we were caught by the police and I explained everything which then my brother and I were taken away from my mother's guardianship and placed in foster care and my mother was investigated.
I remember seeing my mom a year later after school which was a very awkward reunion to say the least but she started to break down and apologise but to be honest I couldn't care any less and this all happened when I was 14 and I haven't seen my mother since
I very recently left foster care which was a bag of trauma itself but I moved in with my father both he and my mother divorced when I was 7 and know he has his own wife and kids (my brother and I have two different father btw). Very recently my father has been pushing me to go and see my mother and when I ask him why he's only argument is 'because she's your mother' I argued with his poor reasons and how he never understood anything since he was never really there and his opinions are invalid. My father constantly brings it up and it's starting to become unbearable.
I asked my father one day 'Is a mother allowed to curse at a child' and he responds saying yes it's her child and this told me everything I needed to know about what he think about this situation.
His logic is that a mother can do anything inhumane to a child and make the child's life a living hell and the child is just supposed to sit there and take it because she's his mother. He even added that I should go to my mother apologise to her and that I am in big trouble with Allah at the moment; if my mother dies right now angry at me the my akhirah will be doomed?
What a ignorant and brainless way of thinking- she does a poor job at raising me and because I decided to take me and my brother out of her care in fear that she would one day inflict enough damage on my brother that'd she kill him it's my fault?
This is the same issue I had with my relatives everybody sees me as the villain and her as this innocent saint who's done no wrong. My mother's sister who was my aunt forced me to damage one of my sexual organs as a punishment and despite all of this my father still believes I am in the wrong and I shouldn't have ran away. I'm really starting to hate him he chose the perfect wife to raise his little kids and they live their best lives yet he continues to remind me of my unforgivable action of abandoning my mother who he chose to have a child with
I'm just so sick and tired of people weaponizing Islam and trying to make me feel bad about what I've done saying 'Your kids will do the same to you when you become a parent'
Even when I visit Jummah and listen to the Khutbah they always regurgitate this constant notion of respecting your parents and by all means I have no issue with and I understand that parents and seniors in generals are well respected in Islam no problems at all but they always neglect the privileges children have over their parents and all this does is create parents who are practically egomaniacs and use Islam to justify their despicable parenting
In all honesty I don't ever want to see her face again and even hearing her name is enough to irritate me, I'm constantly told to forgive her for the sake of Allah and even that I don't want to do
My brother was diagnosed with autism when I was 15 I was in a very dark place when heard the news my experience in foster care was bad enough and they separated me and my brother and now he's got autism it did nothing but completely amplify my hatred for her my brother won't be able to do certain things others can do and I know kids can be mean so he'll more than likely have a pretty difficult time in school. Maybe she hit his delicate head to hard as a child rewiring his development? or maybe I'm just coping

I did some testing with a donut probe and it exited at 290ish with 50ish seconds dwell time and it passed 4 wash tests. Does it need an exact time?

For context, I had my 2 week follow-up and the tech noted that there is still tissue, while the obgyn said that it is probably just blood clots and that we should schedule a follow-up in 4 weeks. I still have been feeling nauseous and my test is still reading as pregnant (which the ob said isn’t out of the ordinary.) I don’t have bleeding, though, I do have fatigue, massive gas and the occasional sharp pain in my uterus area. I’ve been reading people’s experiences post d&c and doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary.

Backstory as to why I tried so many fanny pack carries, I have pretty bad sciatica pain so I can’t wear belts for extended periods of time as they flare up the pain.
I have owned all 4 of these below, I’d say the most popular bag that’s obviously not on the list is the Vertx S.O.C.P and the reason I did not purchase it is due to the size and it’s kind of ugly. I’ve seen reviews of it and it looks way too bulky for my taste. I prefer something more simple that blends in with everyone else’s fanny packs commonly worn. I also prefer wearing them crossbody / over the shoulder and not around the waist, again due to sciatica.
Out of the 4 below I gave away the Elite gunner and Vertx long walks. I mainly use the 945 bag as my regular EDC with a shield. I use the Vertx Everyday pack with a Ruger LCP II for days I will be out all day as it’s way lighter.
Has front and rear pocket.
Cons: It can fit a stock Glock 19, but an optic gets caught up a little bit, I could rip it open reliably in practice about 7 out of 10 times, when you’re life depends on it that is not good enough for me and it’s why I run a shield instead because it never gets caught up on shield.
The front and rear pocket is on the smaller side with no organization slots/ pockets but can still easily fit a phone or wallet. There is option for additional side pouch, but that is too much going on for me.
It is EXPENSIVE, I’m sure a lot of the cost is that it is only sold with their holsters, you have the option to buy additional holsters but you do not have the option to NOT buy a holster. I mean it’s nice to have a dedicated holster for your fanny pack but if you have bought other packs like I have and already have Velcro backed holsters it is a bit steep.
The pull tab is a bit small for my liking, wish they had the option to make a bigger pull tab. My hands are on the larger side (2XL gloves) but still relatively easy to open. Would also be better if pull tab was a different brighter color for low light conditions.
Pros: Very nice and thick materials, easily rips open. Fits a Glock 19 with optic and light easily. Has nice large pocket in front with some organization slots. Pull tabs are a brighter color compared to bag so can be easily seen when trying to draw.
Cons: It’s not too bulky but it has a hard cardboard insert that cannot be removed which adds rigidity but wearing something rigid is not comfortable and makes it protrude from your body more.
The Velcro patch is small, every other pack on the list has the interior fully lined with Velcro but this pack is just a smaller square which limits where you can mount your weapon.
No rear pocket.

Ever since, I haven't had any luck with my prints. When I changed the FEP, I reset to zero, re-leveled the bed, and made sure everything was all cleaned up before reassembling. I even did a test of the lcd screen to make sure that there were no holes. I reprinted the cones of calibration to make sure all my settings were still accurate and that turned out perfect. Everything seemed like it was good to go. However, I've had no luck getting any of my prints to work out. you'll see in the photos, but it's like the bases print just fine, but when it gets to the models, everything freaks out. I've tried adjusting my lift speed, the transition layers, wait before print- basically anything I could think of. Anyone have any ideas on what's going wrong here? I've printed this model before I changed my FEP and it worked out just fine, so IDK what's changed. I've included images of the failed print and my settings. I hope someone else has an idea, cause I'm running out of other things I can change! EDIT: One thing I didn't include because I didn't think it relevant, but the printer is in my garage and I live in central FL. Hello everyone, by the title it’s definitely not my proudest thing to ever put on here. I’m a STEM student who in highschool, has never studied chemistry and physics nor, didn’t cheat during any tests or exams in highschool. But as soon as I went university, everything plummeted I guess. I’m still 6 months ish fresh into university and am highly disappointed in myself that I have to cheat on weekly tests just to make myself feel better by passing the test. And tbh, i’m genuinely concerned for myself, because normally I wouldn’t do such a thing and i’m scared of this pressing on my grades forever.
I got asked today if i was cheating and bluntly said “huh, no?” and just went on with practicing our test. This was probably the first time in 3 weeks I hadn’t cheat on a test, and the prqctice test was nothing like the questions which made it even worse for me. I always prepared beforehand practicing the questions, but suddenly mid-test Id always blank out and freak out, thus ending up resulting in cheating.
The thought of cheating disappoints me so much, so I want to change it as quick as I can before it becomes a habit. I’m so stressed out of my mind, and the subject i’m cheating in is physics. Don’t know if that makes it worse or better, but i’m completely terrible. I try my best but I just always get overwhelmed and panic and don’t know what’s wrong with me.

I found out I am pregnant with an IUD (paraguard). My last period was 4/4. My periods are not regular, they use to be every 30 days but since a miscarriage in september it has not been regular). I am going to the doctor tomorrow to remove the IUD. I have been spotting the last couple of days. I went to the ER yesterday and this was their diagnosis HCG blood test was: 897.1Ultrasound: “Pregnancy of unknown location. No intrauterine or ectopic pregnancy visualized. Differential diagnosis includes early intrauterine pregnancy which is not yet visible, nonvisualized ectopic pregnancy and missed spontaneous abortion. Correlation with serial beta hCG levels and follow-up ultrasound is recommended.”I have an idea of what this means. But can someone explain it?

Nikkei faces important technical testJapan’s Nikkei 225 faces an important technical test, pushing back to towards a resistance zone it’s been unable to break for weeks. With risk appetite rampant and softer yen helping to juice the earnings outlook for exporters, if Nikkei bulls can’t reclaim the ascendancy today, when will they ever?As discussed in a note late last week, the Nikkei’s recent performance has been anything but convincing from a technical perspective, attempting to push back towards record highs struck earlier in the year without really going anywhere. Volumes are declining and upside momentum lacks the impressive thrust seen earlier in the year. Curiously, the strong positive correlations with USD/JPY and US 10-year bond yields evident over recent years have vanished. As seen on the daily, another roadblock frustrating bulls has been downtrend resistance running from the record highs, constantly thwarting attempts at topside breaks since late March. One failure after the next has seen futures slide and hold below the 50-day moving average, along with horizontal resistance at 38900. So, I wait to see how the price action evolves before deciding on the appropriate course of action.Should futures fail again at the downtrend, shorts could be initiated with a stop above the level for protection. As noted, bids below 38000 have limited losses to this point, making that an appropriate initial trade target. Below, 37750 and 37000 are the next support level after that. If futures were to break and hold above the uptrend, traders may want to consider initiating longs with a stop-loss order below the level for protection. 38900-38950 would be the first trade target, a zone including horizontal support and 50-day moving average. I just started working on pipelines and I am trying to change the build output of the pipeline to match what I have in VS which is set to 'Minimal'.
Currently I am getting 100+ warnings when I run the pipeline which I dont need.
I have read many things online regarding buildArguments, verbosityPack: Minimal & verbosityRestore: Minimal etc... as well as being setthrough the UI (instead of yaml)
but I just cant figure it out.... Can anyone tell me how I can change the verbosity level to minimal on the below yaml file please?? as currently im pretty sure it is set to detailed as im getting alot more than I need, thank you for any replies
