2024.05.17 00:22 CardiologistAware830 I feel like Luca Guadagnino is uniquely talented at portraying exactly what makes men so attractive, appealing to audiences on a mass scale regardless of gender or sexuality
Thinking of Challengers, here, OBVI. The churro scene?? The hotel scene?? Them getting all nervous before/when they meet Tashi? The other hotel scene where Art is acting so babygirl?? Come on. Even just the costuming & hair for Art and Patrick feel so energetic, fun, endearing, enticing. All through the movie I couldn’t stop thinking “:)” about how much I love men and their whole deal, and I feel like that’s something missing in a lot of media that appeals to women who date men. So much of it is either the last gasps of “men are trash” or this goofy ass “written by a woman” stuff. Granted, Art and Patrick are really normal guys and are only obnoxious or threatening in the ways you’d expect a normal ass dude to be.
Even in Call Me By Your Name, Armie Hammer is one of the hottest dudes ever (AS A BLOND MAN?) because Luca seems to intuitively know exactly how to direct and style men. It’s nuts. Not a Timothee Chalamet girl myself but I’ll let the other 2 woman on this forum weigh in lmfao
There’s a lot of baggage attached to being a woman dating a man and the relationship between you & his friends & him, but let’s lut that aside and acknowledge how it is so attractive to see a man hanging out with his homies and see him excelling in a social situation that is totally dif from what you’ve seen him in. At least as long as u know when to tap out before the hang devovles into something unspeakable
anyways, men are hot when they’re being lads or maybe I’m actually a gay guy

2024.05.17 00:13 Inside_Definition758 Edits needed badly so it sounds less robotic and makes more sense!
So I wrote my own horror story in my own language problem is I translated it to English and it’s an incoherent mess here it is In the dimly lit tunnels of the underground bunker, the sound of muffled moans echoed off the cold concrete walls. The air was thick with the smell of sweat and blood, and a sense of dread hung heavy in the air. In one of the dark corners of the bunker, a group of men gathered around a twisted figure, bound and gagged on the floor. His eyes were wide with fear, and his body trembled with each sickening blow that was inflicted upon him. "Please, stop," he begged, tears streaming down his face. But the men surrounding him only laughed, their eyes wild with lust and cruelty. One of them stepped forward, his cock already hard and dripping with pre-cum. He grabbed the man's head and forced it down onto his shaft, thrusting deep into his throat. The man gagged and choked, but the man didn't care. He just kept fucking his face, relishing in the feeling of power and control. As the man was subjected to this brutal assault, the other men began to undress, exposing their hard cocks and eager balls. They took turns violating the man's body, shoving their cocks into every hole and orifice they could find. They spit and piss on him, degrading him in every way possible. But it didn't stop there. The men became more and more sadistic, mutilating the man's body in unimaginable ways. They cut and tore at his flesh, leaving deep, bloody wounds that would never heal. They shoved objects inside him, ripping and tearing at his insides. They burned and electrocuted him, leaving him in a state of constant agony. As the man lay there, broken and battered, the men stood over him, their cocks still hard and ready for more. They laughed and jeered, reveling in the sickening display of depravity they had just created. But the man's spirit was not broken. Despite the pain and suffering, he still fought, still struggled to survive. And as the men continued to violate him, he knew that he would never give up. He would never let them win. And so, the gruesome scene continued, the man's body reduced to a mere plaything for the sick and twisted minds of the men around him. But through it all, he held on, determined to survive, no matter what horrors he had to endure. In the end, the man was left a shell of his former self, his body mutilated and broken beyond repair. But even in his darkest moments, he held on to the hope that one day, he would be free from the sick and twisted world he was forced to live in. And as the men left him, lying in a pool of his own blood and filth, he knew that he would never forget the horrors he had endured. But he also knew that he would never give up, no matter what. Sahar was a fighter, and he would always be a fighter. Even in the darkest corners of the flesh garden, Sahar would never lose hope.
Sahar lay there, his body a mangled mess of cuts, bruises, and burns. He was barely conscious, but he could still hear the sickening sounds of his captors laughing and jeering as they violated his broken body. But then, something changed. The men around him suddenly fell silent, and Sahar could hear the sound of footsteps approaching. He tried to open his eyes, but they were too swollen and crusted with blood to see anything. But then, a voice spoke. It was deep and rough, with a hint of a foreign accent. "Enough," the voice said. "These men have suffered enough. It is time for them to be free." Sahar felt a hand on his shoulder, gently lifting him up. He groaned in pain, but the hand didn't let go. It guided him through the darkness, towards the sound of the voice. As they emerged from the shadows, Sahar could see a group of men standing before him. They were all battered and bruised, just like him, but they had a look of determination in their eyes. "We are the rebels," the leader of the group said. "And we are here to save you." Sahar couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had given up hope, but now, it seemed like there was a chance for him to escape this nightmare. The rebels quickly went to work, freeing Sahar and the other men from their bonds. They tended to their wounds, doing their best to ease their pain. But then, something unexpected happened. One of the rebels, a man named Kaden, approached one of the captor's bodies. He was still aroused, and he couldn't resist the temptation of the corpse. He began to violate the body, fucking it with a savage intensity. The other rebels watched in disgust, but Kaden didn't care. He was consumed by his lust, and he wasn't going to stop until he was satisfied. Sahar and the other rebels were repulsed by Kaden's actions, but they knew that they had to focus on their escape. They gathered their weapons and supplies, and prepared to make their way to the surface. As they emerged from the bunker, they were met with a world that was unrecognizable. The streets were filled with the sounds of gunfire and explosions, and the air was thick with smoke and the smell of death. But despite the chaos, the rebels pressed on. They fought their way through the streets, taking out any enemies that stood in their way. And in the end, they emerged victorious. They had escaped the bunker, and they had taken their revenge on their captors. But as they stood there, looking out at the ruined world around them, they knew that their fight was far from over. They would have to survive in this new, brutal world, and they would have to do whatever it took to stay alive. And so, they marched on, determined to make it in this new, fucked up world. They were the rebels, and they would never give up.
Sahar and the rebels had been on the run for weeks, desperate to find a safe haven in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. They had heard rumors of an abandoned research facility, one that was said to be producing something called "flesh gardens." Despite the warnings of other survivors, the rebels decided to investigate the facility. They were desperate for supplies, and they were willing to take the risk. As they approached the facility, they could hear the sound of strange, otherworldly creatures. They were unlike anything they had ever seen before, their bodies twisted and fused with plant matter. The rebels fought bravely, but they were no match for the creatures. They were torn apart, their bodies mutilated and violated in unspeakable ways. Sahar was captured by the creatures, and taken deep into the heart of the facility. There, he was subjected to horrific experiments, his body slowly transformed into a grotesque fusion of plant and flesh. The creatures took pleasure in torturing Sahar, violating him in every way imaginable. They cut and mutilated his genitals, leaving him in a state of constant agony. As the days passed, Sahar's body became more and more monstrous. He was no longer human, but a twisted hybrid of plant and flesh. Tentacles sprouted from his body, writhing and pulsing with a life of their own. The rebels eventually managed to escape the facility, but they left Sahar behind. They couldn't bear to watch as he was subjected to further torture and mutilation. Sahar was left to die, alone and in agony. His body was a twisted, monstrous abomination, a testament to the horrors that had been inflicted upon him.
The plant-men wasted no time in subjecting Sahar to their sick and twisted desires. They bound him with vines and roots, immobilizing him as they went to work on his body. With sharp thorns and saw-like leaves, they sliced and diced at his flesh, carving intricate patterns into his skin. They ripped and tore at his genitals, leaving him in a state of constant agony. They whipped him with vines, leaving deep welts and bruises on his skin. They electrocuted him with electric eels, sending jolts of pain coursing through his body. But the worst was yet to come. They inserted tentacles into every orifice of his body, violating him in the most unspeakable ways. They fucked him with their tentacles, leaving him raw and bleeding. As the days passed, Sahar's body became more and more monstrous. The mutated plants fused with his flesh, creating a grotesque hybrid of man and plant. His genitals were mutilated beyond recognition, his body a twisted mass of tentacles and plant matter. The rebels, meanwhile, had become obsessed with finding Sahar. They had heard rumors of his capture, and they couldn't rest until they had rescued him. They searched the wasteland for weeks, following every lead and clue. They fought off bandits and raiders, determined to reach their goal. Finally, they located Sahar's whereabouts. But they found themselves confronted by an army of flesh-plant hybrids, guarding his chamber. A brutal battle ensued as both sides fought for control over Sahar's body. The rebels used every weapon and tactic at their disposal, but the flesh-plant hybrids were relentless. In the end, the rebels emerged victorious. But they were horrified by what they saw. Sahar's body was a twisted and mutilated mess, his genitals barely recognizable. But it was too late. Sahar's body had become an incubator for countless more mutated creatures. They were waiting to be born into this twisted new world order, ruled by unnatural desires fueled by sexual violence against humans turned into living organ farms.

2024.05.17 00:13 BluebirdNo3434 In Search of a Long-Term YouTube Editor (funny, feminist, reliable)
Hi!
I am a content creator with a quickly growing youtube channel and looking for someone to edit 1-3 videos a week for me. It would be about 1.5-2 hours of footage I would be sending your way, that would just need to be narrowed down to about 45 minutes.
I don't need anything fancy like graphics or music, or subtitles since my audience puts on my videos in the background (like a podcast). The footage is just of me talking, so doesn't require much. I typically do a tiny bit of color correcting, and audio correcting --then just start hacking away at the footage. I make my own thumbnails and everything too.
Here is what I'm looking for:
-someone who knows internet humomemes. I like my videos to be pretty simple editing wise, but definitely fast paced and witty and I make a ton of internet references. So if you wanted to throw in a reference, or jump zoom, or sound effect to make it funnier--by all means, be my guest, lol
-someone reliable with a decent turn around time who is looking for a long term gig
-also, full disclosure I am an extremely feminist, liberal, outspoken gay woman who talks frequently in her videos about human rights, politics, queer topics, and mental health. So definitely someone who is on the same page as me.
-someone who can color correct my footage to make it look warm and full of color (but not too oversaturated)
-someone who can correct my audio (to get rid of as much fuzz, background noise as possible without making my voice sound robotic)
-someone who can help me cut out as many "like"s and "um"s and dead space in general as possible, also anything that's boring or repetitive (I tend to ramble)
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, feel free to DM me with your rate and some examples you might have 😊. Would love to find a long term editor to stick with me through this journey!

2024.05.16 23:59 mxcatgirlboy Alternatives to DriveSavers Inc?
I recently left my 12.9 in iPad Pro (2018 or 19 I believe) outside like an idiot after drawing on a sunny day, then it rained overnight. Found it the next day in the sun. All I want is my procreate files back, I have 5 years of art on there that I would love to not lose.
I went to the Apple store and a Genius (lol) at the Genius Bar (lol) told me they cant save my data, but referred me to DriveSavers because they are an Apple ally. I called them up to ask about their offerings and they told me their economical package is $700-$3,000!!
I cannot afford that currently, but I need those files back asap if possible because I have a client who needs me to upload psds of the comic book pages I’ve colored for him. They have a payment plan for the poors but maaaannnn I would love to avoid that. I know its hard to get into Apple products though since they’re encrypted.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? I’m sorry data enthusiasts I promise to religiously back up my art from now on. 😔

| I've been wondering for a while how would Poland look in this universe because so far the only piece of lore we have about it is that Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is still a thing and Hussars are part of Antioch faction. So I wondered how would Commonwealth in this case look in this warped version of our reality. The history, events and even creatures. This is mostly a post I do to speculate about my own country. Because ape brain has it's neurons activated at Polska mentioned. Those guys already look fitting enough I think it goes without saying that Hussars look already very fitting for the aesthetic of Trench Crusade. Maybe however they look now could have them have actual wings on the battle field or maybe their horses having some wings after conducting several rituals to gain the power from the Heavens where they fight using their stupidly long lances with sabres or maybe even axe guns that were used by Polish Cavalry. No I'm not joking Make it maybe bigger. Like a shotgun with an axe handle and it can be badass weapon. But I am not stopping at Hussars because I had some other idea about how to represent this side of the world and I thought of maybe combining slavic beliefs into the Commonwealth's armies. For instance maybe with Leshy. Make him maybe wear a cross made of a tree and it could work Basically alteration of the appearance of several creatures from slavic myths with Christian beliefs. Like maybe because of the faith of the people in both of those manifested creatures that are like mixes between both. We could also maybe have a representation of certain deities. Like Trygław. Godhead? Three heads? Who maybe could be a divine creature that leads Hussars and three heads would represent each of the Holy Trinity. And then there is some of our legends, most famous of which is one about Wawel Dragon. A dragon who slept underneath castle of Wawel and has been killed by poisoning using a sheep filled with Sulfur. Dragon... Hell... Yeah that can work And that can also be brought into this world. Hell here is very much real and Devil is oftentimes associated with Dragons (honestly, unrightfully so. They deserve better. Like snakes. Stupid devil brought bad name to them) so maybe it could be changed to there being a fight against a powerful Demon deep beneath Wawel and this being one of the first instances of demonic presence before the Crusaders did a little bit of trolling. And speaking of history and templars doing trolling. I think this also brings up an interesting thing about a certain very famous battle that decided fate of Poland as a whole. Battle of Grunwald. Because Teutons were stupid bullies. Their color scheme was nice though. Because given how history changed I wonder how this battle had to look in this verse given the fate of the Crusade and Jerusalem. It could be that instead of fighting against bunch of poor man's Crusaders, Poland may have faced some demonic legion in that fight. Zawisza the Black. Real life Record of Ragnarok character. Would also be fun to maybe have The Black Knight Zawisza as maybe some important knight in that period as well. The man was an anime character with his deeds. No Joke. Where is he? Also given that this takes place in 1914 I wonder where this absolute lad is right now. Because you can't have Poland in this time period without Piłsudzki's magnificent moustache. Also bears. Because we had a Polar Bear in WW1. There could be a War Bear unit So... that was my ramble on some ideas... This is pretty much ideas of my ideas about how Poland could be represented in this setting. And sorry Lithuania for not mentioning much about you in this post given that you are a half of this Commonwealth there. I just genuinely do not know much about you. But I know you have this. Hill of Crosses This could make for an amazing imagery in this setting. So yeah... this is the post. Some ideas about Poland. Hope this was not a bad read. submitted by AzraelSoulHunter to TrenchCrusade [link] [comments] |

2024.05.16 23:52 Coyote_Havoc Gallóglaigh: Fáilte Abhaile
First Previous "Arran of many stags, the sea strikes at her shoulders, companies of men can feed there, blue spears are reddend amongst her boulders. Merry hinds are on her hills, juicy berries are there for food, refreshing water in her streams, nuts in plenty in the wood." -Agalllamh na senorach- "Don't say goodbye, wish me luck and a swift return."
Sorcha's words echoed in Robert's head as he watched the transports race the local star into the sky. Robert was the last to leave the cargo bay, wanting to remain in her presence for as long as possible. It was childish now that he thought of it, but it had earned him a long, deep kiss and a promise she would come back to him soon.
The port where they had been dropped off was located on a cliff overlooking the sea, and the golden light of dawn was echoed on the incoming waves. Beyond the tarmac, grass and bushes grew unhindered and thin trees towered over the terminal. Robert led the 449th toward the building which was built to resemble something out of a story book. A faux thatch roof hung over white walls resembling rough hewn stone while a clocktower with a black slate roof rose from behind. It was a beautiful example of deceptive architecture to give a weary traveler a sense of tranquility. The main concourse radiated the same fairy tale charm with shops lining the interior between cobblestone walkways and a grassy area with long wooden benches under manicured alder trees.
To the casual observer it was a welcome distraction from the busy day to day worries of modern life, to the former convicts who were used to concrete, reinforced walls and armed guards it was heaven on earth. Robert's troops ignored the benches to lay in the soft grass, a luxury unaffordable to the soldier and the convict alike, drawing looks of curiosity from travelers as well as shop workers and Robert had to fight the urge to join his men in this simple pleasure. Finding a seat on a bench, he sufficed himself by running his left hand through the soft blades where the unit colors had been planted.
"How long have you all been fighting?" A stranger asked.
"Feels like forever." Robert replied feeling a pang of guilt at not telling the whole truth.
"Just passing through?" The stranger inquired.
"Here to stay, at least for a while I hope." Robert said.
The strangers face brightened and his eyes reflected the smile that he wore.
"Fáilte Abhaile Óglaigh," He said before continuing to his gate.
Gallóglaigh was the only word Robert knew in Gaelic, and it became apparent that he would have to learn quickly as other people took notice of the rag-tag unit relaxing in the grass. Gallóglaigh meant young soldier he surmised, so óglaigh probably meant soldier, but 'saighdiúir' as well as 'laoch' was also directed at him and his men. Laoch sounded bad, but the people who said it smiled and shook hands with him. 'Saighdear' sounded like 'saighdiúir' and he had no idea what 'ghaisgich' meant, but every face told them how happy they were to meet them. 'Tha gaol agan ort' and 'Is Breà liom tú' found their way to his troops, mostly from women and a number of them tried to pronounce the words themselves which caused more confusion and a few impromptu lessons on pronouncing the words followed by a kiss on the cheek or forehead.
Robert was seriously considering reigning in his troops when he heard a more familiar language from a weathered older man with an amused smile.
"May I assume you're Colonel Grant of the 449th?"
"Yes sir." Robert replied.
"Perfect, I'm your escort, Brian McMurray," he said, "whenever you're ready please follow me."
Robert was able to contain the enthusiasm of his rowdy batch of heathens before they could caused any trouble, to the further amusement of their escort, and they wove their way through the port with the expert guidance of Brian McMurray who led them to several busses waiting just outside the passenger entrance. Troops were filed onto four of the vehicles and Robert was guided to an open deck with his officers while the lower deck of the front vehicle would carry the remaining troops. Brian sat in the front and swiveled his seat around to address them.
"I do apologizefor not having an air transport to meet you, but the MacSweeney family was able to charter these coaches at the last minute." Brian said as the coaches began to move.
"MacSweeney?" Hobbs said under his breath.
"Shut up Cyrano." Robert ordered.
"It's alright Colonel," Brian said, "Yes Captain, Laird Collin MacSweeney, Governor of Arran. Have you heard about him before?"
Hobbs eyes grew wide and he shook his head to indicate he hadn't. Robert turned a shade of red, Jacob and Derrick had the common sense to hold their tounges. Thomas on the other hand...
"Collin MacSweeney, son of Aaron MacSweeney, current lord of the MacSweeney family. Descending from Suibhne O'Niall, chieftain of Argyll. Aaron MacSweeney, settled Arran with the last Gaelic speaking people from Ireland and Scotland in order to preserve their heritage."
"Thank you,Captain Reed." Robert said, half relieved Hobbs had been bailed out, and half curious how Thomas knew so damn much.
"Rather impressive summary I must say," Brian replied, "anywho, the languages you were having trouble with and the history of this world will be made available to your troops, please do study it to prevent any unfortunate misunderstandings. We should be arriving in Brodick Castle shortly."
"If I may," Robert asked, "What is the history and population of Arran?"
"Certainly," Brian replied, "Arran Colony was started with the last 1000 Irish and Scots Gaelic people on Earth. With a bit of hard work and luck we settled the planet as an agriculture world, primarily ranching but expanding into other crops and fishing as well as natural textiles and some light mining and mineral refinement. Today Arran has a population of just over four million."
4 million, from the look of the small port town which hugged the harbor you wouldn't know it.
"And the port city?" Robert inquired.
"Brodick." Brian explained. "The harbor on this island is almost an exact match of Brodick on Earth, so the island was named Brodick as well as the city we just passed through and the MacSweeney family have called it home ever since."
"Brod..."
Robert shot Hobbs a murderous glance before he could finish and the rest of the trip was conducted in silence.
The chartered coaches pulled onto a gravel driveway in front of an amazing castle, built stone by stone into an exact replica of the one on Earth. Troops were ordered to disembark and form ranks below a massive tower that loomed regally over them. An equally impressive man exited to greet the arrived troops, wearing a fine wool suit and a red and black kilt shot through with yellow covered slightly by a leather sporran with polished silver trim. Robert waited for Hobbs to call it a skirt, and was thankful that he remained silent.
"Fáilte Abhaile." Laird MacSweeney said in a neutral tone.
"Apologies sir," Robert replied nervously, "but the men don't speak much Gaelic yet."
"No worries," Laird MacSweeney said, "but 500 does not a regiment make."
"No sir." Robert replied. "We are what's left from Diani unfortunately."
Laird MacSweeney nodded quietly. "We shall have to remedy that. Carry on."
Robert rendered a salute "On the orders of the Terran Military, The 449th Infantry Regiment has been reassigned to Arran SIR!"
Laird MacSweeney returned the salute and began to speak.
"I know who you are and where you came from. I expect all of you to act like civilized people, not the convicts you were previously. Think carefully how you conduct yourselves here on Arran. Housing accommodations for the command staff will be here at the castle, company commanders and enlisted will be housed temporarily in a hotel in the city. This is your second chance gentlemen, you will not recieve leniency from me or my people."
Laird MacSweeney paused momentarily to let the warning sink in.
"With that being said, you are owed three months of pay, which has already been taken care of, and I believe a week furlough is in order to acclimatize you to Arran. Be responsible and respectful, but please enjoy yourselves. Colonel Grant."
Robert nodded and rendered salute again before turning and shouting "DISMISSED!"
The unit cheered at their freedom, but returned the the coaches in a somewhat orderly fashion. Robert tensed slightly at the thought of what they might do if not under watch, and the hand placed lightly on his shoulder made him flinch inside.
"Calm yourself Colonel," Laird MacSweeney said in a gentle tone, "You have a lot of work ahead of you yo get your unit properly organized, but you've done an excellent job considering."
"Thank you sir." Robert replied. "If I might ask, what does Fáilte Abhaile mean?"
Laird MacSweeney chuckled as Robert turned to face him.
"We shall have to remedy that as well." Laird MacSweeney replied.
"Fáilte Abhaile means Welcome home."

Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought hi , and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valour

2024.05.16 23:43 LordXamon Vanilla-friendly mod recommendations. QoL, performance, retextures, and more!
Let me share my 3000h of modded wisdom with you, my fellow vanilla comrades. My attempt here is to provide you with as many as possible improvements to the base game while keeping the style, balance, and content as vanilla as possible. As they say, when it works the best is when you don't realize it is there. I guarantee you that after playing for a while with these, you will no longer be able to tell what's from the base game and what's not.
You don't know how to mod? Maybe this
very basic guide will help. Please, note that many mods come with options to tune up your experience. It is recommended you give them a look.
You can find the steam collection
here. Be aware that some of these mods require the DLCs. You don't have the DLCs? Just don't use the mod.
Dependencies:
- Harmony + Huglibs. Required by so many mods, you may as well be done with it and always have them.
- Vanilla Expanded Framework. While not as radically necessary as the previous ones, it's still a dependency fairly common. And this one actually does cool things on its own, like loading new modded factions without having to start a new game.
- XML Extensions. You won't be able to access the options of some mods without this.
Performance
- Dub performance analyzer. Enable the optimizations and override options, you can ignore everything else. If you want to disable alerts, use rocketman.
- Rocketman. By default, it should be good enough. This mod also allows to disable alerts you may don't care about, like, dunno, tattered apparel or unhappy nudity. It is recommended to run adaptive move occasionally (in stat cache settings).
- Performance Optimizer. More hacker magic. If you don't like the UI changes, you can disable them in the options. This mod does more performance stuff aside from that, so use it anyway!
- Performance Fish. You will have to install this mod manually, since it's not available in the workshop. You will also need to install its dependencies, Fishery and Prepatcher. Please, be aware that at the present there's an issue in which linking storages crashes the game. However, this can be prevented by disabling "TryFindBestBetterStoreCellFor" in the options.
Minor changes
- Optimization Meats. Unless you really want dozens of different meat types for some weird role-play reason, this mod will reduce the bloat on your kitchens.
- Better Animal Tab
- Better Info Card
- Conduit Deconstruct. A button to exclusively dismantle power conduits.
- Disable Automatically Select Travel Supplies
- Improved Need Indicator
- Map Preview. You can reroll as well!
- Prepare Landing. You can search world tiles matching your conditions. Goes great with Map Preview.
- Medical Tab. An easy way to overview your colony health.
- More Harvest Designators! e.g. harvest only fully growth plants.
- ModDiff. Great improvement of the mod mismatch screen.
- Pharmacist Temporary Update. Instead of always using the best medicine, now your pawns can use the appropriate medicine for the situation. No longer will they spent glitterworld meds on scratches!
- Smart Turret Covering. Fixes an issue with turret covers.
- PawnTargetFix. So that the autotarget prioritizes the closest enemy.
- Poisoned Food Stack Fix (Fix). Fixes an issue with meal stacks.
- Priority Treatment Ressurected. Doctors will finally prioritize keeping your pawns alive over taking a nap. Disable the option that prevents injured pawns from performing surgery, it has issues.
- QualityBuilder. You can set up a target level for furniture, and your pawns will reconstruct it until it's achieved. If I remember correctly, it's enabled by default for all new furniture? You can turn that off in options.
- RPG Style Inventory Revamped. Much better looking inventory.
- Replace Stuff. Allows to directly replace buildings, without having to deconstruct first.
- Research Tree. A better research tree.
- RimHUD. The best mod of the whole list, it will save you A TON of clicks.
- RimSaves. Overhaul of the save menu.
- Show Known Techprints on the trade screen.
- Show mechanoid weapons on the info screen.
- Smarter Construction. No more babysitting pawns when building walls.
- Stack gap. By default, pawns constantly refill storages. With this mod, you can configure it so that storages are refiled only when they're empty.
- Sun Lamp Honesty. Fixes an issue with sun lamps
- Just Put It Over There. Traders will deliver the merchandise, instead of dropping it on the ground.
- Trade Ships Drop Spot. Mark the spot in which orbital traders will deliver the merchandise, instead on whenever they feel like it. Doesn't work inside animal pens.
- Trading Options. Configure how frequent you want the traders to be.
- WVC. More work modes for the mechanitor.
- Save Settings. Allows you to save and load storage, production, and clothes settings. Works cross-save!
- No Max Bills. Removes the bill cap on workbenches.
- Better ground-penetrating scanner
- Colored deep resources
- Common Sense. Feel free to configure however you like it. I prefer it like this.
- Dubs Mint Menus. Improvements to a bunch of menus.
- Better Pawn Control. Improved management policies.
- Animals Logic. A lot of useful animal-related improvements. Disable the meat option if you're using Optimization Meats.
- Non uno Pinata. Pawns don't drop items when downed. Configurable.
- Bulk Smelting will save you precious time.
- Stonecutting Extended. The same as the previous mod, but for stones.
- Electric Stonecutting Table. To speed up the stonecutting even more.
- Faster Smoothing, a must for all mountain/underground out there.
- Do Your F****** Research. You can order pawns to research.
- Go the Fork to Sleep. You can order pawns to sleep.
- Meal Radius. Configure how far pawns will search for a table to eat.
- Home radius. Configure the size of the automatic home area.
- Smarter Visitors. Visitors will leave if things get dangerous.
- Custom Guilt Duration. Executions in vanilla are a pain because the guilty status goes away too fast. Now you can configure it.
- Dress Patients. Allows dressing of downed pawns.
- Way Better Romance
- Hunters Use Melee
- Injured Carry. Allows to rescue not downed pawns, no longer you have to wait for the bleeding to down them.
- Not My Fault. The player is no longer responsible for unrelated deaths on the map.
- Deep Storage + Simple Storage. Improves stockpile management.
- Pick Up And Haul. Improved hauling.
- While You're Up. Complement for the previous mod. Keep in mind that these two mods will trivialize part of the challenge by freeing a lot of time from your colonists. Just, dunno, turn up the difficulty a notch or something.
- Trading Spot. Marks where you want traders to stop on your map. It's a must if you use a desired path mod (I don't know if they have been updated to 1.5 yet).
- Vanilla Base Generation Expanded. Improved NPC base generation.
- Cut plants before building
- Psychic Harmonizer Lag Fix
- Fellow Ideology players, you're welcome.
Mayor changes
- Dubs Bad Hygiene. Plumbing!
- Vanilla Temperature Expanded. Lot of useful temperature-related buildings, as well as proxy heat, a very cool mechanic. Some buildings are redundant with the previous mod, just don't research the ones that you don't want.
- Death Rattle + Biosculpter Patch + Life Support. Changes the behavior of mortal wounds so they're not instakills.
- Dynamic Flooding. Inundations!
- Some Things Float. I recommend disabling the chance of pawns loosing their footing.
- Layered Wall Destruction. Walls aren't just destroyed, they become debris. Note that there's an issue in which the debris will spawn home areas.
- Yayo's Combat. Combat overhaul. You can disable the ammunition system if it's not your thing.
- Character Editor. Allows you to edit and save/load pawns.
- RunAndGun. Allows to use guns while moving, with penalties to accuracy. Don't enable the dual wield or search and destroy modules, they won't work.
- EPOE Forked. Fills in the gaps of surgery content in the base game. I recommend disabling the additional workstations and enabling direct crafting only. Less micromanagement, more fun.

2024.05.16 23:42 longdistamce Here is a way to get your Credit Karma transactions in a CSV file. Tutorial retrieving transactions from Credit Karma based on Month using Javascript code (No coding experience)
Since I have been getting messages randomly, I figured this might be helpful. This is created off another users post from here
https://www.reddit.com/mintuit/comments/197g5nz/use_a_script_to_extract_transactions_from_credit/ Anyways I will try to make this beginner friendly with step by step instructions. It isnt very hard, you just might do somethings on the browser you haven't done before. High level, all were doing is running some code that will help us download what is on the screen of Credit Karma transactions
Steps:
- Go to https://www.creditkarma.com/networth/transactions
- Go to Dev Tools Console, you can use any of these methods
- Right click anywhere on screen, select "Inspect", go to the "Console" tab
- If using Chrome on Mac, shortcut keys to open the console is Command + option + J
- Screen should look something like this (keep in mind you want to be on the Console tab highlighted in red):
https://preview.redd.it/fevrs155yu0d1.png?width=2130&format=png&auto=webp&s=50fdec232261f3fd4a126140908aef1cbb869a51 - Copy and paste this code into the console:
function convertDateFormat(inputDate) { // Parse the input date string var parsedDate = new Date(inputDate);
// Extract day, month, and year var day = ("0" + parsedDate.getDate()).slice(-2); var month = ("0" + (parsedDate.getMonth() + 1)).slice(-2); var year = parsedDate.getFullYear(); // Construct the new date format var newDateFormat = month + "/" + day + "/" + year; return newDateFormat;
}
function extractNumber(inputString) { // Use regular expression to match the number with parentheses, dollar sign, and commas var match = inputString.match(/\$(([)]+))/);
// If there's a match, extract the number, remove commas, and convert it to a float if (match && match[1]) { var numberWithCommas = match[1]; var numberWithoutCommas = numberWithCommas.replace(/,/g, ''); return inputString.startsWith('-') ? -parseFloat(numberWithoutCommas) : parseFloat(numberWithoutCommas); } // If no match, return NaN or handle it according to your requirement return NaN;
}
function extractNumber(inputString) { // Use regular expression to match the number with or without a dollar sign and optional minus sign var match = inputString.match(/-?\$?(\d{1,3}(,\d{3})*(.\d+)?.\d+)$/);
// If there's a match, extract the number, remove commas, and convert it to a float if (match) { var numberString = match[1].replace(/,/g, ''); var extractedNumber = parseFloat(numberString); return inputString.startsWith('-') ? -extractedNumber : extractedNumber; } // If no match, return NaN or handle it according to your requirement return NaN;
}
function extractAmount(element) { const selector1 = '.row-value div:nth-child(1)'; const selector2 = '.f4.fw5.kpl-color-palette-green-50 div:nth-child(1)';
let amountElement = element.querySelector(selector1); let temp = ''; if (amountElement) { temp = amountElement.textContent.trim(); } else { amountElement = element.querySelector(selector2); temp = amountElement ? amountElement.textContent.trim() : ''; } return extractNumber(temp); // return temp;
}
function extractTransactionInfo(element) { const transactionInfo = { dataIndex: '', description: '', category: '', amount: '', date: '' };
// Extracting dataIndex transactionInfo.dataIndex = element.getAttribute('data-index'); // Extracting description const descriptionElement = element.querySelector('.row-title div:nth-child(1)'); transactionInfo.description = descriptionElement ? descriptionElement.textContent.trim() : ''; // Extracting category const categoryElement = element.querySelector('.row-title div:nth-child(2)'); transactionInfo.category = categoryElement ? categoryElement.textContent.trim() : ''; // Extracting amount // const amountElement = element.querySelector('.row-value div:nth-child(1), .f4.fw5.kpl-color-palette-green-50 div:nth-child(1)'); // temp = amountElement ? amountElement.textContent.trim() : ''; // transactionInfo.amount = extractNumber(temp); transactionInfo.amount = extractAmount(element) transactionInfo.transactionType = transactionInfo.amount >= 0 ? 'credit' : 'debit'; transactionInfo.amount = Math.abs(transactionInfo.amount) // Extracting date const dateElement = element.querySelector('.row-value div:nth-child(2), .f4.fw5.kpl-color-palette-green-50 div:nth-child(2)'); transactionInfo.date = dateElement ? dateElement.textContent.trim() : ''; return transactionInfo;
}
function extractAllTransactions() { // Select all transaction elements in the current window const transactionElements = document.querySelectorAll('[data-index]');
// Iterate through each transaction element and extract information return Array.from(transactionElements, element => extractTransactionInfo(element));
}
function combineTransactions(existingTransactions, newTransactions) { // Check for duplicates and add only unique transactions const uniqueNewTransactions = newTransactions.filter(newTransaction => !existingTransactions.some(existingTransaction => existingTransaction.dataIndex === newTransaction.dataIndex) );
return [...existingTransactions, ...uniqueNewTransactions];
}
function filterEmptyTransactions(transactions) { // Filter out transactions with all information empty // return transactions.filter(transaction => // Object.values(transaction).some(value => value.trim() !== '') return transactions.filter(transaction => transaction.amount !== null && transaction.amount !== undefined && transaction.date !== '' ); }
function convertToCSV(transactions) { const header = 'Date,Description,Original Description, Amount, Transaction Type, Category, Account Name, Labels, Notes\n'; const rows = transactions.map(transaction => "${convertDateFormat(transaction.date)}","${transaction.description}","${transaction.description}","${transaction.amount}","${transaction.transactionType}","${transaction.category}",,,\n ); return header + rows.join(''); }
function saveCSVToFile(csvData, fileName) { const blob = new Blob([csvData], { type: 'text/csv' }); const link = document.createElement('a'); link.href = window.URL.createObjectURL(blob); link.download = fileName; link.click(); }
function logResults(allTransactions, filteredTransactions, csvData) { // console.log('All Transactions:', allTransactions); console.log('Filtered Transactions:', filteredTransactions); console.log('CSV Data:', csvData); }
// Function to scroll down the page function scrollDown() { window.scrollTo(0, window.scrollY + window.innerHeight); }
// Use this function to capture transactions and scroll down with a limit of 3 scrolls async function captureAndScroll(scrollLimit) { let allTransactions = [];
// Capture transactions in the current window and scroll down until the scroll limit is reached for (let scrolls = 0; scrolls < scrollLimit; scrolls++) { const newTransactions = extractAllTransactions(); allTransactions = combineTransactions(allTransactions, newTransactions); scrollDown(); await new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, 1000)); // Wait for content to load (adjust the delay if needed) } // Filter out transactions with all information empty const filteredTransactions = filterEmptyTransactions(allTransactions); // Convert transactions to CSV const csvData = convertToCSV(filteredTransactions); // Save CSV data to a CSV file saveCSVToFile(csvData, 'transactions.csv'); // Log the final results logResults(allTransactions, filteredTransactions, csvData);
} async function captureTransactionsInMonth(targetMonth) { let allTransactions = [];
while (true) { // Capture transactions in the current window const newTransactions = extractAllTransactions(); // Combine newly captured transactions with existing ones allTransactions = combineTransactions(allTransactions, newTransactions); // Check if any transaction is in a month prior to the target month const priorMonthTransaction = newTransactions.find(transaction => { const transactionDate = new Date(transaction.date); return transactionDate < new Date(targetMonth.getFullYear(), targetMonth.getMonth(), 1); }); // If a transaction in a prior month is found, stop scrolling if (priorMonthTransaction) { break; } // If no new transactions are loaded, stop scrolling if (newTransactions.length === 0) { break; } // Scroll down scrollDown(); await new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, 1000)); // Wait for content to load (adjust the delay if needed) } // Filter transactions for the target month const currentMonthTransactions = allTransactions.filter(transaction => new Date(transaction.date).getMonth() === targetMonth.getMonth() && new Date(transaction.date).getFullYear() === targetMonth.getFullYear() ); // Convert transactions to CSV const csvData = convertToCSV(currentMonthTransactions); // Save CSV data to a CSV file saveCSVToFile(csvData, `transactions_${targetMonth.getMonth() + 1}_${targetMonth.getFullYear()}.csv`); // Log the final results logResults(allTransactions, currentMonthTransactions, csvData);
}
// Usage example: Capture transactions for March 2024 const targetMonth = new Date(2024, 2); // March is 2 (zero-based index) captureTransactionsInMonth(targetMonth);
- Press Enter, you should see your screen scroll and continue till it reaches the end of the month (this might take a minute or two depending on how many transactions you have). For example, in the code it specifies new Date(2024, 2); // March is 2 (zero-based index) so the screen will scroll until it reaches February 2024 and then downloads the file for March 2024 transactions. Depending on your browser settings, the file should download once the code is done scrolling and running
If you would like to specify a different month, you can change the "2" to whatever month you need accordingly, example: May would be "4"
Let me know if you have any questions or any other requests and I'll try to make it

2024.05.16 23:36 graizen67 can someone help me find the jacket?
I've seen the jacket on the person on the bus and I'm trying to find it but no luck so far
Its a dark green men denim trucker jacket, it has brown leather collar with thin leather lines along the pockets with rivets on the edges of the pockets
No zips, just metal buttons, cuffs on the waist and wrists, the sleeves and body are relaxed and somewhat baggy
There's no visible branding except for the metal buttons and either pressed-in or stitched logo on the upper right torso area the same dark green color as the jacket
the logo started with D and seemingly had big "O" somewhere in the middle of it but I couldn't make out much else because of the purse strap
any clues on the brand would be appreciated, it all happened in northern france and I'm a tourist so I couldn't just walk up and ask the person

2024.05.16 23:31 CyanideRT Printer for small office
What would you like to accomplish?
Network monochrome laser printer for a small office (about 6 workers) with average about 300-500 pages a week. Duplex printing capability a must with reasonably priced / high yield toner. Prefers fast time to first page printed.
Currently using a Kyocera Ecosys P3155DN (bought refurb), whose toner lasts a long time on OEM toner, but now printer is having trouble with frequent paper jam (already >500k pages printed) & also hate the long wait time to first page (about 30-40s). Looking to try different brand with good reliability & affordable toner so probably Brother like HL-L6210DW
Minimum Requirements:
- Budget: up to $500
- Country: USA
- Color or black and white: black/white
- Laser or ink printer: laser
- New or used: doesn't matter
- Multi-function: no, just printer function
- Duplex Printing: yes
- Home or business: small business (6 people)
- Printing content: text
- Printing frequency: 300 pages a week
- Pages per minute : not sure but don't want to wait forever for first page to print
- Page size: letter size
- Device printing from: windows PCs on LAN/WLAN network
- Connection type: LAN/WLAN

2024.05.16 23:24 aldr618 If Anti-semitism matters, does anti-Whitism, anti-Goyimism, anti-Palestinianism matter? If not, why not?
From
henrymakow.com:
https://vaticancatholic.com/secret-letter-from-the-the-central-conference-of-american-rabbis-revealed/ "the dumb goyim will fight while we profit"
I want to know, in 2024 in Western countries, is the rule that we should all treat each other with respect and be color-blind to race or culture or nationality in terms of fair treatment and respect, or does it only matter if particular favored groups are respected? And why?
What happened to the concept of all men being created equal?
Congress's Antisemitism bill disrespects the concepts of equal treatment under the law, and freedom of speech and religion.
This is a slide back into the Dark Ages where heretics to the current ruling monarch or church were burned.
