Was out to eat at an Indian restaurant and ordered veggie samosas. It was just my friend and I. He had already eaten so he wasn't ordering food. I literally told the waiter: "One order of vegetable samosas". Those exact words. One order comes with 2 samosas. For some fucking reason, when the food came they brought two plates with 2 samosas each. He said "Lamb samosas?" and I said "no, I ordered veggie" and he said "Oh, here you go" and put the other plate in front of me, and the first one in front of my friend. Mind you: we only put in 1 order of samosas total. I have no idea why they brought us 2 orders.
The samosas they gave my friend were sprinkled with a red powder and were definitely lamb. Mine were not sprinkled with anything. I figured this is how they differentiated them. I took a bite of one, it was filled with curried potatoes, peas, etc. So when I went to eat the second one I took a bite and only after swallowing did I notice a: the bottom side of it had that red powder on it, and b: it was definitely filled with ground meat. I had already swallowed at this point but I was fucking pissed and horrified.
I called the waiter over and was holding it together. I wasn't going to blow up on this guy, but I kept telling him "I AM VEGAN! I DON'T EAT MEAT" The gravity didn't seem to register with him at all. All he heard was "Oops, I gave this guy the wrong order". He took the plate away and sent over 2 free beers. But it was too late. I kept trying to tell them how serious this was. But it was not getting through. I was kind of surprised because it was a very vegan-friendly restaurant. The menu was labelled very clearly, and it's in one of the most vegan-friendly cities.
At the end of the meal he actually had the audacity to ask me to scan a QR code and leave a review of the restaurant. I haven't left it yet. It sucks because the rest of the meal was outstanding.

5.Turning off all firewalls / defenders / antiviruses / antiexploits / adding exceptions.
6.Installing origin with ea app block prevention patch.
7.Trying to install the game with origin... just gives an error after 75gb of download and starts again.
8.Using different hard drive to install the game.
So after nothing worked when i had 98% of download ready i paused it in ea app... went to the folder of apex install and copied all to make a backup... then proceeded with download... after it removed everything i copied backup to the install folder and ran origin to fix it... it removed the extension type that downloads make to make it normal files without any python scripts... then ran EA app to try to repair... after all of that its still downloading but instead of 80gb its downloading 25gb of data that its removing over and over... doesnt matter what i do... Whats bad about it is that i can stop ea app at 99% then go to old origin to hit play and game will start with EAC running and i can play 1-2 matches before it gives me engine error... Is there any way i can solve this problem? Or its impossible to play this game at all today? What can i do to even start and play the game normally?

Hi all, I have been lurking on this subreddit for a while and thought I would leave my views on an LLC service I have been using for the last few years; Northwest Registered Agent.
I think maybe this one goes under the radar a little compared to some of the other names with bigger marketing budgets. Maybe I am wrong.
Anyway, let's start with who they are.
Headquartered in Spokane, Washington, Northwest Registered Agent is primarily an LLC formation service. With operational offices throughout all 50 states they have quite the presence. They have been around for over 20 years and have a well-established reputation within the industry.
Actually, I'll jump to something I saw on the website: The Northwest Registered Agent Guarantee.
Basically, Northwest offers a 100% Error-Free Guarantee:
“We form hundreds of LLCs every day, and each filing is backed by our 100% error-free guarantee. Although extremely rare, in the 20 years we’ve been in business, we’ve learned that mistakes do happen. Should an error occur, we’ll file every amendment required to make sure your company information is accurate (at no cost to you).”
I've not had to call upon this, but it is reassuring to know that I can if anything goes wrong.
Okay, let's run through exactly what the service offers:

Services provided by Northwest Registered Agent

LLC Formation:
For a fee of $39 plus the state fee, Northwest facilitates the creation of LLCs, including checking name availability and filing the necessary paperwork with the state government, typically known as the Articles of Organization (or similar titles in certain states).
This fee also covers the provision of free Registered Agent service for the first year. Additionally, Northwest provides complementary services such as Annual Report reminders, mail scanning and uploading, and lifetime customer support with each order.
Pricing for LLC Formation
For LLC formation, Northwest Registered Agent charges:

Northwest offers Registered Agent service free of charge for the first year when hired for LLC formation. Subsequently, the service renews at $125 per year. A Registered Agent accepts legal mail (Service of Process) and state notices on behalf of an LLC.
Federal Tax ID Number (EIN):
For $50, Northwest can obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the IRS for clients with a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). For non-U.S. residents without an SSN or ITIN, the fee for obtaining an EIN is $200.
LLC Operating Agreement:
Northwest provides LLC Operating Agreements, which detail ownership percentages and management structure, for $50.
Additional Services:
Northwest offers various additional services, including obtaining a Certificate of Good Standing for $50, necessary for registering an LLC as a Foreign LLC in another state, and providing Certified Copies for $60, required in certain states for the same purpose.
They also offer a free trial for a business phone number, with a renewal fee of $9 per month if the service is continued.
Furthermore, Northwest assists in setting up merchant accounts for credit card processing, with pricing dependent on transaction volume.

Pros and Cons of Northwest Registered Agent

I don't want to turn this into a mega review, I started this post actually want to highlight the fact Northwest have been pretty damn good for my LLC needs.
Here's the some of the pros and cons all the same...
Pros of Northwest Registered Agent:

• Private Address: Northwest Registered Agent offers the advantage of keeping your address off public records, a feature exclusive to their service.
• Customer Support: Their customer support is highly regarded, providing assistance for any inquiries you may have.
• Competitive Pricing: Northwest Registered Agent offers reasonable prices, with potential discounts available such as the LLCU discount.

• Data Privacy: Unlike many competitors, Northwest Registered Agent does not sell customer data, prioritizing the protection of client information.
• Strategic Locations: They have offices strategically located in states with publication requirements like Arizona, New York, and Nebraska, potentially saving clients money on compliance.

Cons of Northwest Registered Agent:

• Pricing: While Northwest Registered Agent may not be the most budget-friendly option, quality service understandably comes at a slightly higher cost. Having said that, there is a low priced option without frills if you still want to use them.

It's worth noting that in comparisons with other LLC filing companies, Northwest Registered Agent consistently performs well, with no significant bad reviews that I have managed to find.

Overall Thoughts

Overall, strong customer service and expertise in the industry is probably the main reason to choose Northwest Registered Agent.
They also prioritize client privacy by keeping addresses off public records and refraining from selling data to third parties.
I have to say, after my own experience of using Northwest Registered Agent for my LLC I can confidently recommend their services. It's been enough for me to step to write this put it that way. :)

Lawyers, small business owners, anyone who could help answer some of my questions welcome please. I also am looking for some support as I feel completely alone in unknown waters. If anyone has walked this path before me or has helpful knowledge I would be very grateful.

Plan:
-To start a small business of upcycling blankets and other second-hand fabric by sewing. I would also like to knit and crochet pieces too, so it’s an art/ craft but the outcome is accessories such as tote bags and clothing items. I have many art-related ideas too and don’t want to limit myself too much. From what I’ve read, I believe this best would fall under the NAICS (code 44-45) more specifically 458000- clothing, clothing accessories, shoe, and jewelry retailers. (Feel free to correct me)
Background:
-I am a woman in my early 20s and I still live at home with my family in a home that we rent. I don’t have any assets, I don’t own a car, and I don’t own a house. The only person wanting to do the business is me alone. I’m taking a break from working an actual job at the moment and want to take a chance on this business idea. I don’t have anything to lose right now. I do not have a home office but only my bedroom that can turn into a space for me to sew which is the main thing I will be doing in the business I start. I have hope in this business idea and want to be able to provide income to help my family more. The hope is keeping me alive and everyone starts somewhere don’t they?

My questions<

1.When starting out should I do a DBA or and LLC?
-I have read up on this a lot the last few months and still can’t reach a conclusion. DBA $30 if I file thru mail, and LLC $135. DBA mentions “principal place of business” and that would be the rental property where I live truthfully. Sec.609.48 of the Minnesota 2023 statutes is scary to me because I would never intend to violate that and end up in jail or paying huge fines. My dad has a dedicated office space, and since cowork spaces exist for businesses, I know I technically could use his address instead of my home address…. but that does not feel truthful since I only would be working and sewing from my room at home so I know it must be wrong.
2.Privacy?

• The biggest block and concern for me because I plan to use reels on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok for promoting my business where people will see/ know what I look like. I don’t want people to be able to track down my home address. I have been stalked by men before many times so I get very worried about my privacy for starting a business especially as a young and single woman.

1. Sole proprietor?

-Is the best option to just operate under my legal name so no DBA is necessary or LLC? Should I just start? It feels like I am getting ahead of myself. I could rent a P.O. Box and use that as the sending address for items that I sell to protect my home address, right? Do I maybe only need to seek permission from my landlord? Sewing is something so small though, not like I am doing mechanic repairs or metal working on the property.
