Pretty much done with my setup for now. - Larsen 6.2 speakers - Topping D90se DAC - Topping pre90 Preamp - Hypex Nilai500 Monoblocks - Small HP pc for audio streaming/chromecast ultra (when I'm lazy or having a party)
Pretty satisfied with the sound for now! Super pleasant sound from these Larsen speakers. Originally bought the 4.3, but I liked the sound somuch that I ended up upgrading within a month. Very big soundstage for the size. These are small floorstanding speakers at a towering 75cm each!
But this room. Dear lord. 3.2meter tall ceiling and completely square. Most mid punch and bass goes up and away. Still very happy with the sound, but will be getting a much better room to play with in some months.

Will be used for gaming and UFC/Streams at the same time. I have 2 32inch 1440p monitors stacked. 64GB of RAM is necessary for heavily modded games such as Skyrim Elysium Remastered, it eats 32GB of RAM like candy. This is not the reason for a new build tho. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I’ve been informed today that I can’t affix anything to the walls or furniture, not even with tape. I also have to line the tables with tablecloth.
What are some budget-friendly and doable things I can implement to spruce up the space?
So far I have plans to: - sprinkle fresh rose petals atop the tablecloths - bud vases for flowers - vases for bouquets - helium wedding balloons - confetti balloons on the ground (helium is $$$! Places near me charge $2-3 per basic balloon)

I'm selecting parts for ~3000€ PC+Case+Monitor for a specific scientific software. I'd appreciate your help in maximizing the performances I can get from the budget.
Here's the recommended software specs:
Here's the enterprise solution listed in software specs pdf. I have no idea how good the proposed enterprise machine is as I have no idea how old the software specs are:
Monitor is 21:9 ~ 27/29". No gaming stuff, it just need to contain a lot of windows and plots. I selected the cheapest decent monitor in range.
Not required but nice to have:

2024.05.16 20:21 tiger38220 Suggestions for a CPU upgrade from a Ryzen 3 1300x

I am looking upgrade my PC for the future. Currently I have been using a 1300x for almost 6 years (which Im surprised Its lasted this long lol). I need a CPU that can carry me through another 6-7 years as I'll be going to graduate school so lots of chrome tabs open (Because of too many youtube videos on standby to watch) and the occasional games (overwatch, valorant, Crusader Kings 3, GTA RP, Civilization 6, potentially Baldurs Gate 3)
My first path was going to be upgrading my CPU a few years ago and then GPU to follow. Would it be worthwhile to get a ryzen 5 5600( or /x) at this point or save up to the 5700x3D? Since I'm still on a B350 Mobo the upgrade path is straightforward can get huge gains from a 1300x. Thanks for the suggestions!

2024.05.16 20:20 Godomir1 Zero views after reinstated YT account

So today I got my hijacked YT channel reinstated (recovered) after 3 months since being hacked, I got all videos back and I'm still monetized (Im a small youtuber with 9.4k subs)!
What worries me is the thing that since I got back (12 h ago) Im getting 0 views so far (I used to get 4-5k views on daily basis) and some of mine videos are over 1 M views.
Will this change? Or videos are just kicked off algorithm?

Have anyone else got this problem that your trees or production buildings change places? This has happened already 3 times for me. Today 2 of them happened. My one building was basically just swipped to other direction and one other building was slightly in different place, but not far away.
I don't think I have been that clumsy it would be me. I haven't gave access to anyone else either to play for me.
I tried to look up support page but there basically aren't informations about anything similar and chat is currently accepting only certain kind of help requests. I'm not sure if I'm hacked or is this just technical issue or is my phone's touch screen having problems??
Anyone has similar?

2024.05.16 20:09 MegaEv 800 - 850€ Budget, Gaming PC

Hello guys, I need help building a new gaming PC for myself.
My current one is a Ryzen 3 3200G paired with a GTX 1650 Super, but recently the performance has been decreasing, the CPU been getting really hot and sometimes it spikes to 100% usage and it makes lots of noise.
Besides that I wanted to be able to play some heavier games, like RDR2, Cyberpunk, etc, and maybe start streaming.
My budget right now is around 850 euros, I've been looking at some builds with the RTX 4060 paired with an i5 12400f, but firstly I'm scared that it could bottleneck, and secondly I'm fully open to suggestions and maybe would rather invest into a better CPU that might be future proof, like the Ryzen 7 5700X3D
Mainly for gaming, internet browsing, use of photoshop/illustrator and probably streaming.
The games I mostly play are esports games (NBA, WWE, FIFA), FPS games (CS2), and Session: Skate Sim, but as I mentioned before I'd like to be able to play RDR2 and SpiderMan games, some heavier stuff.
When it comes to Photoshop and Illustrator, it can be irrelevant because I don't need them to run to their maximum, I just do some designing stuff for my clothing brand.
As of streaming, I never streamed before but it's something I'd like to do if I had a PC capable of doing it, the games I'd be streaming would be Session, CS2 and esports
Ideally 800€, if it needs to get to 850€ it's completely okay, and the maximum of maximum i'd give right now would be 900€, but only if it would be really really worth it
Within the next 2-3 weeks
Tower with every component besides storage, I already own a 1TB SSD

Kingston 1TB SSD, Razer mouse and Headset, CoolerMaster keyboard and LG 165Hz monitor

It’s been one year since my (partial) Disney Adventure with my boyfriend and I’m getting sad from the reminders lol! I want to go back! We did two days at Disney – Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, with a day at Disney Springs. (Two days were at Universal Studios).
Day 1, Monday May 15
Magic Kingdom
Made it to the Magic Kingdom just before it opened. Started off with Jungle Cruise for our first ride, then Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. Didn't want to buy anything just yet but found some cool stuff to purchase later. Had some food (hotdogs and potato barrels aka tater tots lol) after Winnie the Pooh (which had a super long line) and Princess Carousel. Met Cinderella and another princess that I didn’t know. Did Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of Progress, and PeopleMover (that was broken down so we had to wait on that ride for a bit). Really cool when it was up and running and we saw the behind the scenes of Space Mountain (which was down for most of the day so we never rode). Hit up Mad Hatters Tea Party, Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pans Flight and It's a Small World, then Riverboat before dinner at Crystal Palace with the Winnie the Pooh gang. Did some shopping as we made our way to Main Street and got ready for fireworks. If I didn't take pictures, I never would have thought the day happened.
Day 2, Tuesday May 16
Hollywood Studios
Began the day with Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway, which was fun then Tower of Terror. Never again. Scary galore lol. The guy beside me kept grabbing my leg until I showed him the handle lol. Then we went to Toy Story Land and did the Alien saucers and Toy Story Mania (forearms grew that day). Had lunch at Woody's Toybox and had a brisket grilled cheese, it was really good (and more potato barrels). Took in the Indiana stunt show and then went to Star Tours, MuppetVision before making our way to Star Wars land for the two rides there. If I was Star Wars fan, I'd have lost my mind. I was so impressed with the production value and the scenery. Really really great stuff, very super impressed. Had some drinks and eats at the Cantina and it was "authentic" stuff so it looked weird but tasted normal lol and closed out with Beauty and the Beast and then dinner at Mickey and Minnies restaurant and met all of them.
Day 3, Wednesday May 17
Went to Disney springs and bought some Lego sets (first ones ever, I got the Cinderella Castle lol) and had some chicken at the Guy Fieri quick service restaurant. Pretty chill day.
And that’s about it! I regret not buying the Anniversary LoungeFly backpack that I saw everywhere and kept saying I wanted it but my boyfriend said I didn’t need it (which is true) and that it doesn’t hold anything except a toothpick (which is kinda true). Bought a bunch of other cool things though so I guess it’s alright lol! Miss it a lot and can’t wait to go back (already abstractly planning things out). Thanks for reading!

2024.05.16 19:58 Current_Mousse_7308 I want to run a (ideally non boring) swarm of Wretched sorrowsworn. In kind of a cod zombies style 😅 Any suggestions?

One of the PCs has a link to shadowfell. And after being bitten by a werewolf, the shadowfell BBEG has an exact pin on his location. This acts as a direct window into the material plane, be it small.
Sidebar his mother signed a deal with a shadowfell demon in order to save her son when he was a baby. (his own backstory) but recently, she broke her pact. And the demon is after both him, and his mother.
The wretched will be drawn to the pc (who is unconscious in the initial stages of dealing with the bite)
So the rest of the party need to protect his body, while he of course battles internally with his own demons (probably alongside the mother he never met) and, I guess the wolf within.
I think three phases of very story driven and narrative combat, that will consist of essentially, at least 2 waves of wretched horses/minions/grouped togethesimplified/ pack tactics/ cleavable enemies.
In-between rounds the party can fortify defences etc.
And then I guess round 3 will be a final shadow creature that the wretched have paved the way for. I'm kinda doctoring the situation for the PC in question to wake up for round three and be the hero of the day. He hasn't really had his "moment" yet and this will be so cool.
But... There is alot of moving parts here and I think it can be done. Does anyone have any experience with something like this, or things to avoid (someone will likely say the whole session is a bad idea but I really want to stress how I wanna do it equal parts combat and story RP).
I'm open to all critiques so let's go.

I know this is a silent hot topic but when I say take 5 min to make a call to make a difference I mean it! Much stronger than the "spammy" emails they get regarding these topics.
I called my local congressman DC office yesterday to talk about the CCP drone act, the assistant who took my call said I was the first to call in / hear about this. That alone is concerning (I'm in a busy Orange County district for Mike Levin)

I am enjoying this game(i played this game for more than 2 months and spent around 200 bucks for some events(like farm fest something, or pet event etc...) I am using Arbalest mysthinc+0 and CP 740K. I still don't have s hero and s gun so i am waiting for aero dice event and want to get lulu and CR.
I want to share my routine and see other guyz playing style.
(First of all, I am buying monthly pass, it's essential when we pay money in game...) 1. Any free resources - Shop - get free stuffs(like weapone chip, equipment, diamond, and gold - Sign in Daily bouns - Daily Missions and Weekly Missions(somethines skip for suvival time... cuz i don't have enough time to play even 20 mins...) - Camp supplies and free robot fragment((from collectible-Titanium Allomatter) and get a free ticket of collectible. 2. Daily Trial - Apex - I play it only one for real and 2nd, 3rd time i just died cuz of time saving.. - Arena - use 5 tickets for fight and sometimes buy tesseract on shot - Testworks - sometimes play because I can not defeat some levels.. - Boss Conquest - i play 3 times without moving(cuz I got 100 tokens per one play and i get 100+100+100+180 tokens every day without time comsuming and energe comsuming. I sometimes buy some collectible fragment or weapone chip, or robot ticket when I see robot event - VB : play 2 times per day and get only Blue rewards.. but it's worth it. - Honor area : use 5 tickets and collect tokens 3. guild things - donation(funds 3 and coin 5 times) - Guild defence - some day i will buy neuro things on guild lv 10(current guild level 8 :)

2024.05.16 19:41 Wide-Bar1953 Chronic Sinusitis-Not recovering after surgery-Neuropathy Issue

I had nasal surgery 3/21 for a deviated septum and balloon sinuplasty. I am autoimmune and have been having chronic sinusitis for over a year. After my surgery I started feeling worse and Dr started me on antibiotics then two rounds of steroids (Prednisone) which made things worse. The Dr then started me on a steroid nasal spray and allergy medicine (Levocetirizine) which didn't make a difference. The ENT is now referring me to a neurologist for neuropathy and my Rheumatologist is requesting a biopsy for some type of neurology related symptoms. Has anyone gone through something similar? Any suggestions?

Howdy folks, hear me out here! There's always new releases coming out for PC tech and I'm well aware that "timing the market" isn't really a thing... but I'd like to try.
Context:
6-7 years ago, I got an intel 8700K + normal mobo, 32gb DDR4, 1080Ti... and I've been using that for gaming ever since. Granted, the 1080ti from 2017 has REALLY held up so far, even allowing 1440p gaming on medium graphics nowadays... I suspect that the thermal paste on the CPU / GPU has come and gone as it's been giving me some overheating issues recently. I still can play on 1080p with low graphics and helldive with my friends often, I just wish that the game wasn't looking so muddy lol.
The reason I haven't been looking at much of the gaming PC building world is because during the covid period, I completely transitioned over to a Macbook Pro workflow for my photo/video full-time work. Back then, I couldn't wrap my head around spending even more money on a rig just for gaming, as I didn't need the pure processing power for my work exports/rendering on a windows machine.
What I want to do:
Now with the overheating issues and the fact that I have some ✨diSpOsAbLe iNcoMe✨ I'm thinking of getting a new tower to do some more graphics intensive gaming. Think 1440p / 4K gaming in cyberpunk2077, Helldivers2, Starfield etc. I have SGD2-3k (1.4k - 2.2k USD) to get a new tower, and hopefully it can last me 5-6 years of gaming before becoming a potato.
When should I take the plunge?
Someone told me that with Computex around the corner, it would be a good idea to wait it out and see. Would that be a fair point, considering that I am willing to wait 3-4 months? I've heard good things about AMD and their value proposition and am likely to go with them. If anyone has any build recommendations on items i should definitely buy / anchor in the build, I'd be happy to listen! Cheers folks!

2024.05.16 19:36 GoogleMo How are low-mid roster able to pug the latest raids?

Pretty much title but kind of a rant too. I noticed with the recent pass, pugging ivory and akkan hm are even bigger chores than they were previously. Too much competition or maybe too little supports which make everyone extra picky? Is there any way i can improve my pug experience as a 154 roster lvl player with los18? Does hell title do anything? Most my 1580+ have multiple lvl 9 dmg gem and some have 1 lvl 10 dmg, 2% demon dmg, 1800 or close mainstat. Already got my sp from horizontal. I only join parties that are around my ilvl/strengh to make the raids more interesting competing for dmg (and also since you dont get much say in the matter anyways when gatekept in 199/200 lobbies). Whenever im bored enough to check who got in instead, i see worse gems, +/- 5 ilvl and as is the case 99.9% of the time, 250+ roster and los30 which is all these pugs care about since to them roster level = skill.
I mean i understand 150 ish roster with los18 is seen as 'high risk might jail' but i have already done all towers but powerpassed my other 9 characters with 3600 hours in the game and still treated like someone who installed yesterday. I didnt want to do story for roster lvl because the only reason i havent burnt out so far is by skipping most of the boring content besides maybe a few chaos dungeons per week. I have managed to clear theamine 1-3 weekly alive till the end with 14-16m dps 1611 no elixir los18 in g3 only due to my friend pulling the "can i bring friend" card (they are 200+ rlvl los30). Otherwise i end clearing theamine g3 in legit 14 mins but spending 30x more time in g0 if none of my friends happen to be online or there is no activity in lfg discords. Just end up alt f4ing and playing helldivers/stellar blade since pugging the higher content with majority veterans is too much of a chore when 99% of them gatekeep you purely due to roster lvl/cards. You really dont want to come back from a long day of lectures/classes + part time job to ur 2hr free time just to waste it on nothing. This is really affecting my enjoyment of the game because i have always really enjoyed the combat and hated everything else. I would still be only playing pvp and ignore pve if it was still alive cause it was too much fun and was equalized with no gatekeep. I would have los30 already if there was less rng or if i could trade 5 legendaries for an Los card that i actually need. I am actually 22 selector and much closer to klc30 than los30 which is just dumb.
To me this little info on profile seems like something to protect whales maybe, since if u had something like logs in-game or something like opgg from league you could just check how good they are instead of having to rely on something as worthless as roster lvl and cards. If you could see that this full lvl10 200+ roster 6% demon dmg los30 deals less than some roster 150 or that he keep dying on repeat in raids, then you wouldn't take him and that very good customer may just spend a lot less in the game. It just sucks that i am 100% confident in my class and skill, but it still doesnt matter since the game profile doesnt show actual performance in raids. The only fast lobbies in 1600+ are on my support. Im just curious for any advice/other peoples experience because i would prefer not to quit this game and continue playing casually. The sad part about all this is the best pve lobbies ive been in that dealt great dmg were the least gatekeepy and accepted me in 20-30 seconds, with a large amount of them usually having hell titles. The ones that my friends sometimes drags me into that are the type to gatekeep 5-6% demon dmg were below average and dealt less dmg with much more gear (40 set). Anyways, it sucks that the majority of pugs just are too insecure to let me in when they see that roster lvl on my profile despite everything else being good. Also creating own party doesnt work, ive been there already multiple times and no one wants to join you, let alone a support when they could join the 200+ rosters instead.
