2 sets single head VS 1 set dual heads embroidery machine?

2024.05.29 03:59 BAi_Embroidery 2 sets single head VS 1 set dual heads embroidery machine?

2 sets single head VS 1 set dual heads embroidery machine?
2 sets single head or 1 set dual heads? How to choose? If you also confuse, check below article, I can help you find answer.
#1 Advantages of 2 sets single head embroidery machine
1.1 Flexibility
In terms of flexibility, 2 sets single head embroidery machine are more flexible than 1 set dual heads machine. If you have 2 sets single head embroidery machine , you can finish different patterns separately. In today's custom apparel and embroidery market, small batch apparel customization has become the trend, and usually these orders will not exceed 20 pieces, at this time, 2 heads single head can help you finished orders easier.
In addition, if you are switching the type of embroidery frequently, then you can also consider purchasing two single head machines in order to save the time of switching accessories and increase the work efficiency. For example, if you need to embroider caps and garments, you can save time. Because the cap embroidery and garment embroidery device accessories are not the same, cap embroidery need to be equipped with a cap drive, clothing embroidery need to be equipped with armrests, easy to follow up the embroidery frame, if you are two single-head machine does not need to go back and forth to replace these accessories.
In terms of space layout, single head machines have many more options than dual heads machines. Compared to a single head embroidery machine, a dual heads machine is much larger in size, which puts a demand on the space in your studio. If it is difficult for your workspace to accommodate a dual heads machine, then opting for two single-head machines will suit you better. You can place them separately, in several corners of the room, and some customers even place a single-head machine in a small area in their bedroom.
1.2 Stable order production and safety guarantee
In actual use, if you encounter some problems and need to solve them, it will be safer to have two single-head machines than one dual-head machine. You can contact with engineer to get help to fix the machine issue. Meanwhile, other set single head machine also can help you continue to finish orders. At least will not delay too much.
1.3 Business Growth
Budget: Your purchasing power is often related to your budget. If your budget is a little tight, it is recommended that you start with a single head, and when your orders continue to grow in the future, add another single head, or dual heads. This will help you start your embroidery business quickly,It is also safer and more secure for your investment.
1.4 Ease of movement
Friends who own embroidery machines know that the embroidery machine itself is very heavy, the volume is not small, like a single-head machine of BAi, from the handling to the installation of two or three people, not to mention the dual heads machine, if you want to carry a dual heads machine, you may need five or six to help, but also need to rent a machine to assist, and is an additional expense. If you have the need to convert the site, then try to buy a single-head machine, which can save you a lot of labor and expenses for future handling.
#2 Advantages of 1 set dual heads embroidery machine
Dual heads machines are often used for mass production of the same embroidery design. When you have an order of 50 or more embroideries and they are all of the same design, you may want to consider getting 1 set dual heads embroidery machine.

2.1 Price
Considering the price, the price of 2 sets single head machines is a bit higher than 1 set dual heads machine, the exact price difference depends on the brand of the machine. You can consider it according to your budget, for example, BAi's machine, a VISION V22 will cost you $6099 for self pickup and a dual heads VISION V22-2 will cost you $7799 for self pickup.
2.2 Productivity
In terms of productivity, two single-head machines require one more step of operation than one dual heads machine. For example, if you are also embroidering two garments, the dual-head machine only needs to operate one control panel to control the two embroidery heads to embroider together, whereas the two single-head machines need to operate the control panels of both machines separately.
It's worth mentioning: if your embroidery orders are struggling to be completed by a single-head embroidery machine alone, you may want to consider a dual-head machine. It is important to note here that purchasing a dual-head embroidery machine requires consideration of factors such as budget, production needs, workspace. Therefore, you should conduct a thorough research and evaluation before purchasing to ensure that you can fully utilize the advantages of a dual head embroidery machine and meet the actual needs.

2024.05.29 03:34 Any-Willingness8436 What should I do now?

I need advice 9-1-1 I (f45) and my partner (m43) met 19 yrs ago through a mutual friend. It was love at first sight and we started talking and we both fell head over hills and decided to move in together since we couldn’t be apart for more than a week. We finally made the move and moved in together. He had a descent job and I was on the hunt for any kind of job. Since I had 2 daughters 9 and 5 at the time. He had 3 children m7 f5 and m of literally months. At the beginning it was bumpy but any new relationship is. It took about 10 yrs for our family to finally cope in between his family his ex and me with my daughters. A month into me moving with him 3 hrs away from my family he was laid off his job I had been looking for a job since day one so finally one day I found a job as a waitress working graveyard at a restaurant at a not safe area. I struggled since the biological father of my daughters cut ties after I moved he came to visit once or twice and then he vanished. We struggled financially for a long time. I was new on the online job search thing but I suggested he posted on Craigslist his painting since he’s a magnificent painter. It was a hit it. It went too good I left my job to help with the driving since it was mostly out of town. I got too bored that I asked to help him so it wouldn’t take too long. Our days were 10 hr days we did the murals for about 8 or 9 yrs. We argued constantly over simple things. So I told him I love him but I couldn’t do it any more. I started working from home doing clothing alterations it didn’t pay a lot but it helped. He then open a business selling and repairing video games and consoles it did good for a few yrs and he started an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop. He is very creating smart and extremely talented. I then started helping a friends mom doing alterations at her bridal shop that was next to an embroidery place that actually shared a room and the stomps of the machines hypnotized. As soon as there was a chance I got the opportunity to work there as well. I’ve been jumping from job to job to help with the expenses of the house and the shop my partner still owned. At his apprenticeship he had a slip and was fooling around with this other female it ended. He finally decided to close ip his shop bc it just wasn’t working. When he finished his apprenticeship he went on and decided to open his own shop. He got his keys December 2019. Most expenses fell on me since he had no income at the time. He was working very hard to get the place standing it was a mess he demolished painted installed plumbing electric the whole 9 yards. He opened his doors June 2020. We couldn’t be any happier. He is also a musician so he would get gigs all the time. I have to mention I was doing the house work the kids rides the cooking and when he needed me I was there all while I had 2 jobs I would take the kids to and from school and drop off my step kids too (I hate the word step kids) they’re my children too. Any how September 2020 he got this new gig job and by October same yr he didn’t want me to go see him play when he was blocks from home. He started acting weird like dressing differently and caring about his looks I had my suspicions but he would always tell me it was just in my head. I could see his call logs and I found out who he was talking to it was the lead singer of this new band. I confronted him and he said I was crazy. Ok. I kept seeing weird behaviors and talked to him about it since we are not legally married I offered to open a relationship since it would be months at a time w/o intimacy he said no cause nothing was happening. There were times he would take my car on a Sunday nights and act mad so he won’t come home. He ever told me once he couldn’t remember where he parked my car so he left it 2 hrs out of town which caused me to call off work many times. I was loosing my mind I knew something was wrong and I did everything to fix the situation. I decided to place a tracker in my car so he won’t have to strand it again. Next weened he took my car again and left it by the airport all night. I confronted him with pics of my car where he had left it and he admitted he carpooled with this other female that is married should I add. FF to may 17 2022 I got a hold of all his ig user names and passwords, he was talking to at least 6 females but I didn’t confronted him this time that day I had a terrible migraine and was feeling aweful I needed to rest my head and be calm so I went home he rejected me as if I was a piece of trash I sat up and told him it felt like he didn’t want to be with me so I asked him to leave he got up and he left. Right away he started dating this scumbag not the singer but this other person. He had a dinner date may 18th with a 26 yo and on and on. All in a span of 2 months after he left my home. We started talking again and we were fine I told him everything I felt and how much he had hurt me he told me I didn’t deserved that and no I don’t. When he moved out and finished fooling around he got this god and I loved her she was the sweetest dog. After my second job I would go to his place and puppy sat for him he would help me financially when I needed and things were working out it was like we were dating. September 2023 we got into a huge argument and things were bad I went zero contact for a month and it was bad. Until. He had one of his panic attacks and called me to take him to the er so did I saw the dog again and things were calm for over a month. By December same yr he gave me a check I couldn’t cash, on the 23rd I went to his place to return the check and give him his Xmas gift it was a large print of his dog on a makeup trip we did in march it wasn’t much but it was with so much love. He didn’t let me in to see the dog he said I was not welcomed he opened his door about an inch and the dog came out running to me. He called the cops on me I explained the situation and they talked ti us individually. I left and had Xmas eve with my children. I forgot to mention that my youngest f22 and his daughter f21 are currently living with me. Xmas day I was home alone and he calls me I pick up and it was him he was stressed he said that his dog was acting weird since Saturday she couldn’t bark she tried but was just wizzing we rushed her to a hospital 2 hrs away we came back without her she didn’t make it on our way back he told me that the day he called the cops on me she ran to his room sat in a corner and just looked down. He spend the rest of the week in my place I didn’t know what to do but be by him and help him. He decided to get another dog he just turned a yr I love that dog too. I’ve spent the night at his house every other night to help with the puppy while he works. I still had 2 jobs and his place is about 20 mins from mine. About 3 months ago he asked me to lend him some cash so he can get a car to play with so I did. 2 weeks ago my sister invited me to celebrate my nieces graduation and I asked him if our youngest had a date for his and he said no so I told my sister I was attending. Last Wednesday my kid told me he had a ceremony ticket for him and another one for me I arranged as crazy as it sounds to ask for Thursday off to drop off my daughter to my sisters which is 3 hrs away saw my mother for 20 or 25 mins and started my drive back because on Thursdays we take his dog to the street fair so by 1 pm I was back in town I took a quick nap and started getting ready for the fair. He calls me at 7 pm to ask if everything was ready I said yes I’m just getting his cooler ready we take ahi’s bowl a portion of kibble ice packs snacks and a spray bottle. I couldn’t find the spray bottle. I went to my car to check if it was there and I saw him pulling up in his truck I asked if he could come over and kept looking I check again and he walks right inside so I closed up and went in with him I told him I can’t find the spray bottle and he lost it he was cussing out the spray bottle and I was in shock I mean dollar tree has them we can replace it but he was mad at the bottle. He had been doing this same thing for 3 weeks he looses it and he goes into his bedroom extremely upset last time he was like that I let him know I can’t do these kinds of arguments they’re ridiculous. I told him I needed to go home with my dogs and I left. We have a mutual friend that has a dog like ours and that night he posted a pic of both dogs and the lost spray bottle was hanging from the side pocket of the wagon. I texted him Sunday so I could go see the dog and he said ok I spent an hr with I walked him and ate snacks then I left I called him yesterday and he said he had 2 walk ins so I visited the dog for 2 hrs walked him played with him and ate snacks. We both as an agreement we talked about me quitting my second job and puppy sit and he’d pay me what my second job did and so he can get hands on on his shop it’d be a win win it’s been very slow like scary slow and he needs to build his portfolio so we all happy. I talked to him about a bill I owe is 1200 and he said we’ll figure it out well it’s due today since things aren’t smooth I texted him and asked him to please call me he said about what I said about the dog and other things he asked is something wrong with the dog I said not really but we need to talk and he said there’s nothing to talk about I send him a pic of the bill and it’s due date which is today and he said not my problem ask for a loan or something. He owes me 2k I was trying to figure out how we can still help each other and he told me I was harassing him and that I can’t come see the dog and he will get a restraining order. I know his financial situation isn’t good but neither is mine he blocked me again. I know he’s a narcissist and very self centered. His actions don’t have an affect on me but the dog does I’m afraid something would happen to the dog like it did to the other one. I can’t say I don’t care about the money but I barely make ends meet for myself nor can I say I hate him I want him to be ok and succeed like I should too. I know it’s toxic that is why I left. I sent that payment today on time but now I will be behind on all my bills including my rent and car payment. I don’t want to go to his house I don’t know what I did wrong. All I’ve done is is be by his side when no one is he has literally no true friends and he’s not close to his children on his son graduation I was there there was his grandma his stepdad his biological mom me sitting next to her my stepdaughter her boyfriend and then him who got there 30 min late and on the phone for most of the ceremony.

2024.05.28 22:43 Chaos_Sea The Island Rating System makes NO bloody sense.....

So today, the ONLY things I done in the game to the island:
1) Add a waterfall behind the museum. Moved a bush in the way, not got rid of it.
2) Fixed the annoying shape of the big pond I have in the back of my island. Added a mini island in the center and plopped a statue on it.
3) Finished placing Marcel's fence.
4) Placed a frozen drink machine in my farmer's market I'm working on
5) Put a pathway going in font of my flower containment fence openings so they couldn't use those grass blocks to pull a jailbreak on me when I decide to switch over to Beautiful Island Ordinance.
Aaaaannnnd that dropped my island by 1 star😑 I worked so hard to get it to 4 stars. There's plenty of bushes planted and some flowers growing in fenced in yards too. So WTF?

2024.05.28 21:06 WabbajackedWacko Adventures with an Interdimensional Psychopath 41

***Lily***
We all just stare at it for a while, waiting to see what it does. The first person to make a move is Wabbajack, inching his way closer towards it. As he gets close, he pokes it. As he does, I could swear it makes a squeaking sound.
He gasps as he picks it up. At that moment, I notice that the tail stays close to the ball of fluff, kinda flying around it. Maybe it has a set distance? He then proceeds to squeeze it a couple more times as it squeaks. “This is amazing!” He yells, squeezing it some more.
Eventually, it spins around to face him. It opens its mouth and out comes a tongue flying out like a frog and connects to Wabbajacks face. The rest of the body then comes flying towards his head as it bites his head, knocking over Wabbajacks hat.
I hear a muffled, “Aww. I was having fun. Oh well, got to admit though, it’s feisty.”
“It seems to be a Umoya Vulpes Uhane.” I hear to my right. I turn to see Mogsten looking into a book. “Fascinating! This seems to be the only other time that there has Ever been a recorded sighting of one. There is almost next to no information on its capabilities here.” He adds. He then slams the book shut as he exclaims, “I’ll pay whatever you want for him!”
I then hear more muffled noises say, “Wow! This guy must be really rare for Mogsten to offer anything. Still, first, Lily, how do you feel?”
I look back at the ball of leathery fur that has Wabbajack’s head in its mouth. I feel… something. I put my finger to my chin as I say, “I don’t quite know what I feel right now honestly.”
Wabbajack continues to try and speak as he says muffled again, “Well, familiars are rare, and the experience is different from person to person. Just don’t try to rush it and things should make sense I imagine. What do you want to name this fella?”
I don’t know honestly. But, first things first, “Could you get it off your head now? It’s hard to hear what your saying.” I say.
“Wait, Wabbajack has been talking?” Mogsten asks.
“Well, yeah. Haven’t you heard him?” I ask.
Mogsten looks at me funny and then back at the ball of fur. He then walks over to it and kicks Wabbajacks foot out from underneath him, knocking him down on his back. He then goes up to the fox ball and whispers into its ear. For some reason, as clear as day, I hear, “Can you hear me whispering Lily? Nod if you do.”
So, I nod.
“Fascinating!” He says. He then snaps his fingers as Gourdsten hands him a notepad and a pen. As soon as they are in his hands, he starts writing down some stuff. He stops to look at the fox ball and holds up the notepad to it. “Anything?” he asks.
“What?” I yell back.
He then shrugs and goes back to writing notes.
“Can I get back up now?” Wabbajack says, still muffled.
I rub my temple, wishing that the fox ball would just get off his head.
Just as I think that, it hops off and starts to walk towards me. Well, waddle may be a more accurate word. Or, whatever it is called for how gators walk. It then stops in front of me and tilts its head. Its tail then connects to the body and, as it does, the body stretches out, taking a noodle like shape. It then flies up and wraps its body around my neck! It yawns, and I think I hear it snore. Funny, like it is now, it’s kinda like a scarf. Although the breathing I feel from it adds to the soothing effect as well.
“Spectacular!” I hear Mogsten exclaim. I look towards him to see him fervently taking notes. I also happen to see Wabbajack had gotten back up, put his hat back on, and was walking over here as well.
“I’m amazed. It looks like this was a success.” Wabbajack says.
“Of course! Who do you think I am? Some amateur?” Mogsten says, not taking his eyes off my living scarf.
Regardless, the leather belly provides a good grip while the fur is Extremely soft. I could see myself falling asleep as well if I wasn’t busy trying to process everything right now.
“Welp, it all worked out. You got a familiar and Mogsten is one of the few who successfully summoned it.” Wabbajack points out.
Mogsten shoots up as he realizes it too as he says, “Yes. YES! I DID! People will come from everywhere to see my wares and request my talent!” He then starts dancing along with Gourdsten.
“Although, you’ll have to up security if people keep requesting familiars.” Wabbajack mentions.
The dance slowly comes to a stop as that fact sinks in and Mogsten says, “Blast.” He then snaps his fingers as he says, “I can provide a questionnaire and a test, that people will have to pay for as well! Oh hohohohoho!” He laughs as he starts dancing again.
Wabbajack just shrugs and turns back to me. He asks, “Well, introduced you to about most of the important places that are around here, all that is left would be the furniture then. Unless there is anything else you can think of?”
As I start petting my living scarf, I try to think really hard if there is anything else I need to know. We got equipment, some magic books for me to study, my mark of sentience, a familiar, had a fight or two with Wabbajack, and met his family. I shrug and say, “No, I actually think that was it.”
He wipes his forehead as he says, “Thank goodness. I can’t tell you how crazy today has been.”
I can’t help but let out a chuckle as I say, “You think it’s been crazy for you? It’s been one new concept after another for me.”
He looks at me, chuckles, and says, “Fair enough. I almost forgot that All this must be new to you.” I had just gotten changed back when he then walks to the flap leading to the front as he says, “Well then, shall we get some furnishing?”
I nod and quickly chase after him. As we exit the store, I decide to ask Wabbajack some more questions as we peruse the bazaar for any good furniture being sold. I ask him an important question, at least to me anyways, “Why do you do this job? With your talents and skills, you could do whatever. And don’t try to sell me on that Monster of Monsters thing. Don’t you get tired of it?”
He stops, sighs, and tilts his hat down as he explains, “Well, if you really intend on traveling with me, then I guess you’ll have to know sooner or later. Let me ask You a question first however. Do you think nothing good could come from death?”
I look down as I answer, “Well, I mean, there is always another way, right?”
He responds with, “True, but I have learned why being a hero is as disastrous as the destruction they prevent. If I had to guess, Silkie probably told you about That, right?”
I quickly try to look away but realize, I immediately sold myself out.
“I thought so.” He says. He then follows up with, “There was a reason for that. There was a warlike nation growing in power. The reason for that is that none of the other nations were taking it seriously, so they pillaged and plundered as much as they like. Now, what is the best way to convince a nation’s leader that an “insignificant” threat is an actual one without them laughing at you?”
I look up and try to consider.
Before I can however, he continues, “I played the part of the nation about to destroy everything, and…assassinated… that infant. When the king and queen discovered their child killed by, what reports believed was one of those “barbarians”, they then took the threat Very seriously. They beefed up security and their guard. When the nation was invaded, instead of being wiped out, they defended themselves and crushed the opposition. I admit, it haunts me most nights. The crying, the sadness, then the stifling quiet. I hated it. But, they didn’t have the time for me to convince them conventionally. That is why I do these things, so others don’t have to. If they were defeated, then the warlike nation would have just steamrolled over everyone else. Now, tell me, what happens when a culture developed entirely around killing others runs out of things to kill?”
I ask him this time, “Is this a rhetorical question or do you want me to answer it this time?”
He shrugs and says, “Only if you want to try.”
I sigh and start thinking about it. “If a culture based on war ran out of people to fight… then they would try to look to improving their lives, right?”
He pats my head as he says, “You’re a genuinely good person. If that was how it worked, I would hopefully be out of a job. No, unfortunately. Nine point nine times out of ten, they just start killing each other. Point zero five percent scenario that they manage to start invading other dimensions. And the last of it, would hopefully improve their lot.”
“That’s so sad.” I mention.
“Welp, that is why I am around, I imagine. I wish I could save everyone but then, it becomes a cycle of dependency. If they can’t manage to take care of themselves, then when the rock holding it all up disappears, then things just go back to being as bad as they were before. Sometimes it winds up being worse than before. So, while I am impressed of true-blue heroes, I don’t envy them. That’s why I take orders from my boss. He promised me that, if I listen to him, he could help me protect entire dimensions. And the best options are sometimes the darkest ones. And who better to wander the darkness than someone who just about everyone hates already?” he asks while pointing to himself.
While he says that cheerfully, I swear I could sense a sadness to it as well. As I think that, my familiar floats over to Wabbajack and starts licking his face.
“He-e-ey. Easy there. Didn’t think I was that tasty.” He says as he tries to wave it off.
“Wolfie! Stop it!” I say without thinking.
It looks back, tilts its head, and floats back to being around my neck.
“Wolfie?” Wabbajack asks.
“Yeah… I guess. I guess that is what I decided to name it.” I say as I pet its fur.
I hear him chuckle. I respond with, “What?”
“Nothing.” He answers. He then waves forward as he asks, “Well then, shall we continue?”
I smile and walk forward. I then see him catch up immediately. When he does, Wolfie then starts wagging her tail, I think.
“What’s he so excited about?” Wabbajack asks.
“She. And I’m not sure.” I respond. I have a suspicion but, there are still too many variables to answer before I can start providing answers.
Wabbajack puts both his hands up defensively as he says, “My bad.
Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” I tell him.
We finally reached the bazaar and start looking around. As I am looking around, Wabbajack smacks my back and says, “That guy looks promising.”
I look over in the direction that he points, and I see a turtle person wearing some very poofy-looking robes, puffing smoke from a long oboe-looking pipe. Behind him, is some sort of tube-like machine. Wabbajack walks over to him, so I follow shortly after him.
As soon as he goes up to him, Wabbajack asks, “Excuse me good sir, what would you be selling here?”
There is a pause, he then lets out some smoke, and finally says, “Nothing.”
“Nothing?” I ask.
Another pause and he responds with, “Yep.” He then let’s out some more smoke.
“But then, what is this stall here then?” I ask.
As there is Another pause, I realize that this must be their shtick. He then answers with, “Fabrication.”
“Fabrication? You actually got a permit for that?” Wabbajack asks.
One pause later, he answers, “Yep.”
I look to Wabbajack and ask, “What is Fabrication and, why is it such a big deal?”
“Fabrication is a SUPER advanced form of blacksmithy. As long as you have the materials, you can determine what gets crafted, how it gets crafted, and what it looks like. The only catch is that it depends on the materials. Don’t expect to get golden bricks from grass. That requires rewriting at the genetic level, which you would have to be a master alchemist for that. Even I don’t have the means for fabrication. Although, the alchemy stuff can be pretty fun once you get past all that boring stuff. Not to mention profitable.” Wabbajack explains.
“Wait. You can’t do Fabrication?!” I ask in astonishment.
“Well, I could if I had the materials and patience for it. The time it takes to be permitted to fabricate Anything takes an unrealistic amount of time. I made it about halfway through before even I lost my patience.” Wabbajack answers.
“Why did you stop halfway?” I ask.
“Staying in a classroom for half a millennium alone, being told the yes and no’s of fabrication tends to make a lot of people go mad.” He continues to explain.
Before I can express my disbelief, we hear a very slow laugh, followed by, “Wimp.” I look over to the turtle man in time for him to blow some more smoke.
“You got me their old timer.” I hear Wabbajack say.
“Wait, why does it take so long?” I ask.
“Fabrication is a very meticulous process. Possibly the most meticulous. Not to mention, as I am sure you can imagine, it would be Very profitable for whomever can pull it off. It’s one of the most closely watched professions in all of Spiritopia. Not to mention, if someone of dubious morality decided to fabricate items, chances are that a LOT of bad things would come of it. You have to really have to be discerning when you break into the business. But, if you manage to pull it off, you are held in VERY high regards. Almost untouchable.” Wabbajack explains.
I then hear another, “Yep.” And another puff of smoke.
I then look at the turtle man and ask, “Does that mean you could make us some furniture?”
There is a pause as he looks me up and down. After a while, he says, “Nope.”
I am shocked. I ask, “Why not?”
Pause, puff, and says, “Inexperienced.”
I tilt my head down as I say dejectedly, “Oh, I see.” Wolfie also lets out a sad “hmmm”
Wabbajack then asks himself, “What about me?”
He then looks him up and down as well. This time, he scratches his chin. After a while longer, he says, “Yep. But I’ll charge you more than usual.”
Before I can exclaim my disapproval, Wabbajack says, “Deal!”
As I look to him aggravated, I then hear the turtle man say, “What would you like?”
Wabbajack looks to me as he asks, “What would you like? I imagine some drawers with a vanity mirror, a better bed, some sort of entertainment, maybe even a closet?”
I exclaim, “Wait just one minute! Why would you willingly pay more than normal?”
“Like I said, it’s a profession held in high regard.” Wabbajack explains.
“That.” As the turtle man starts to say something as well. “That and your reputation as Mr. Happy. But, I do like to make my own judgements as well.” He continues as he then lets out another puff.
“There you go.” Wabbajack says, pointing towards the turtle man.
I sigh and say, “Still strikes me as unfair.”
The turtle man laughs again as he says, “Inexperienced.”
Wolfie lets out a growl.
“Easy now, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Let’s not get upset over the finer details.” Wabbajack responds with.
I let out another sigh as I say, “Alright, fine. All the things you mentioned sound good.” I then puff my face.
Wabbajack then lets out a laugh as he says, “Alright. Don’t worry, if you don’t like something about it, we could always come back and change it now that we know someone who can fabricate stuff.”
He then looks at the turtle man as he asks, “Before we talk business, may we exchange names? My name is Wabbajack.” He then puts his hat to his chest and offers a small bow.
Pause, puff, and he says, “Polite. My name is… hold on. Been a while.” He then scratches his chin. He then goes, “Oh! That’s right. Thomas is my name.”
“That’s a good name.” Wabbajack says.
“Flattery won’t lower the price lad.” Thomas says.
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Wabbajack responds.
I then put my finger to my chin as I think and start seriously thinking about what I want my room to look like. I honestly want to start pumping ideas but, as I think about it, I don’t really know what I want everything to look like, let alone what it would look like together. Especially since it has become very apparent that my level of fashion sense is not quite up to snuff as I once thought it was.
As I am thinking all this, I hear a meat-ripping noise that snaps me back into reality. I look towards the sound and I see that Wabbajack had ripped his arm off at the shoulder and is now holding it towards Thomas. I naturally let out a scream.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!” I yell.
They both look at me and Wabbajack asks, as nonchalantly as ever, “What’s up?”
““What’s up?” You RIPPED your ARM OFF!” I point out.
He looks at the arm he’s holding out and points at it with the arm that he Should be missing as he asks, “This arm?”
I look back and forth and the realization must have been obvious as he then asks, “You forgot about me being able to regenerate, didn’t you?”
I blush as I say, “Yeah…”. I snap out of my embarrassment as I think to ask, “But, doesn’t that still hurt?”
He just shrugs as he asks, “Yeah, why wouldn’t it?”
“Why did you rip your arm off then?” I ask in response.
“Because, we will just simply come back when you understand what would work best for you want for your own room and style. But, for now, this would be the perfect opportunity to give you a device to access the same font of information I have access to And a means of travel if we ever get separated somehow.” He explains as Thomas takes his torn arm and examines it.
Before I can say anything else, we hear, “Five currency…”
Five currency? Just five or five million? It couldn’t be so cheap after he said he would charge more than normal, right?
Just as I think that, Wabbajack says, “Awesome, here you go.” As he hands him five of those matte dice.
“What happened to being more expensive?” I blurt out.
Thomas just shakes his head as he just says, “Inexperienced…” Again.
Wolfie lets out another small growl.
“Now, now. Calm down. Fabrication isn’t expensive by any means since the customer has to provide the materials themselves. So, Fabricators can’t honestly charge a lot since they aren’t doing a lot.” Wabbajack explains while Thomas throws the arm into his machine and starts hitting buttons.
“That makes sense” I think to myself.
Next thing I know, Thomas throws me this small calculator like device. I look down at it and, while it does have the shape of a calculator, the symbols on the buttons are fluctuating and where the screen is supposed to be is this oval like projector lens and on the front-facing side is this little bulb, like what you would see on a remote control.
The confusion on my face must have been apparent as Wabbajack says, “Don’t worry, just fiddle with it and sooner or later you’ll figure out how it works.” He then pats my shoulder.
He looks back over his shoulder and says “Thanks Thomas, we will definitely be coming back. Phenomenal work.” He then gives a thumbs up.
Thomas lets out a puff after giving us a smug smile.
Wolfie takes his scarf form and wraps around my neck as Wabbajack pulls me along by the arm, he asks, “So what next?”
I put the calculator to my head as I honestly try to process everything that’s happened. Not to mention all the studying and practice I have to do just to make everything feel normal. All I can think to say is, “Maybe… it would be best if we go back home?”
“Yeah, that sounds good honestly. It’s getting late and your body needs rest to process everything that’s happened. It must be… well, actually shoot. It IS a whole other world from what you are used to. Best to take it slow. Even though today hasn’t exactly gone smoothly. Yilimet should also be done with all his shopping as well.” He says, using air quotes around shopping.
I guess the air quotes are because Yilimet has been cooking for a household of people with no sense of taste for who knows how long now. As I let out an audible gulp loud enough to make Wabbajack laugh.
With how crazy today has been, I expected the walk back to that spot with the two guards to be even more eventful but, nothing. Everyone pretty much just kept their distance for the most part. I think most were also just heading home.
As we get there, I see Yilimet holding an unusual number of bags as he says, “Hey you two, you wouldn’t believe the news I heard! Someone managed to summon a familiar after all this time and it didn’t go on a murderous rampage. Crazy, right?”
“Crazy, sure. Let’s get home. I’m sure things are going to be a bit more interesting than usual from here on.” Wabbajack says as he cuts open a portal home.
Interesting? Beyond a shadow of a doubt. I can’t help but feel like that, even by his standards, there will be quite some exciting and fascinating adventures ahead of both of us. Just as we all walk through the portal home together, Yilimet asks, “Hey, where did that fox come from?”

Hello! My dad and I are looking to get a machine so that he can make custom polos for his golf trips with my uncles and so that I can sell embroidered shirts/patches of my artwork. We’re not looking for anything super fancy and are hoping to spend less than $500. Does anyone have any suggestions for newbies to machine embroidery that will be within our budget?

2024.05.28 19:27 seraleev_viktor How to Generate $3,000 Per Day with Mobile Apps, and Lose Everything in a Flash Thanks to Apple

Four years ago, I decided to launch a startup and began creating my own mobile apps. On September 20 last year, they started bringing in over $3,000 a day (90% of which was on iOS). The very next day, Apple removed all my apps from the App Store and blocked my account.
I sent appeals, showed evidence, screenshots, and even sent a pre-trial claim, but was mostly ignored. Now I've filed a lawsuit against Apple, and for now, the iOS market is a no-go fpr me.
I want to speak out, but I don’t want to complain. Instead, I can share how simple ideas brought me good profits. Maybe someone will be interested and avoid making my mistakes.
First idea
The first app was super simple - you upload two before/after images and get a short video with a slide effect.
First version of the app
My wife, who was a nail tech at the time, suggested the idea because she wanted to create content to attract clients. She couldn't find any apps for creating before/after videos in the App Store. I didn’t believe her, we almost ended up arguing, and I went searching to prove her wrong. Turns out, she was right (as always).
I persuaded a friend to help develop the app. It was 2019, we spent a couple of months developing it, and within a year, it was bringing in $100-200 a month. My friend thought the idea was unworkable, so I bought out his share for a token amount.
This happened on February 26, 2020, right at my 30th birthday party. I sold a stake in a common startup and used part of the money to buy out my partner’s share in the before/after app. I had about $10k in my pocket.
The next day after the party, I sat down to redesign the app and think through new functionality.
First takeoff
I was lucky to quickly find a talented and affordable freelancer. We rebuilt the app almost from scratch in 1.5 months, costing me $2,000.
What we did:
After update
Before this update, the app gained a couple of hundred montly downloads in its first year. But a week after the new version was released, there was a surge in organics.
Around the same time, I hired a marketing specialist for $400/month who launched the first ad. And boy, did it take off. We spent $200-300 on the first campaign, and within a month, I was maxing out my credit card to buy ads. All campaigns paid off. We used only one source, Apple Search Ads.
Search Ads doesn't have extensive targeting options, so we didn't fully understand who our target users were. Then we were contacted by an influencer saying “let’s launch a dog grooming contest.” It wasn’t very clear who would be interested in that, but no problem, let’s do it.
As a prize, we gave away premium access to our app, just three promo codes. The return from the contest was phenomenal. It brought in $2,000 net, and I discovered a whole new world. A huge number of people are willing to invest any amount in their beloved doggos to brag about the results through our app. I was shocked that a simple idea like this one worked SO well.
After the contest, we doubled for three more months in a row, and then reached a stable growth of 20-30% per month.
Screenshot from App Store Connect
I still remember the moment I woke up, picked up my phone, and the app had earned a thousand dollars overnight for the first time. I was psyched, thanking the universe, the users, Apple, and the iPhone itself.
Six months after the redesign, the app was bringing in about 200 times more than the original mark, $34k instead of $100-200 a month. $25k on iOS and $9k on Android (the Android version was made three months after the redesign).
As a result, I started receiving offers to purchase the app. I refused until I heard, “name the price.” I don’t know why, but I said $410k and after five days, I received that amount into my account.
It seemed like an unimaginable amount of money to me; I couldn’t believe what was happening. Only two years later did I realize the real value of the app at that time was at least $1 million. You know how it goes, do as I say, not as I do.
To tell you more, the app’s still alive and it’s making good money without any updates. It paid for itself in 8 months and has been deep in the green ever since.
I planned to continue making apps with this money, thinking I could expand. It’s going to be smooth sailing from here on out, right? Absolutely not.
Landing
In 2021, my family and I moved to Chile, where we still live. We like it here, it's a beautiful country, pur children are growing up here, our daughter was born here, and we want to get Chilean passports. I sold everything back home - a car, an apartment, a plot of land, all my stuff.
I started chasing my dream of making a serious video editing app. I thought, now I have money, I'll start figuring out a "real" app. Life is beautiful and amazing.
I hired new devs and went to work for a year and a half. The first release turned out to be a failure: organic users never came, and the cost of attracting one user never fell below $10. Competing with the free CapCut was impossible.
There were also parallel attempts to make other things. For example, an app for designing your Instagram feed. The first version of the app was growing great, but I thought with new features like collaboration and delayed auto-publishing, I'd find the key to success.
However, reality was harsh. I spent six months just communicating with Facebook to gain access to the API methods I needed, only to find that Facebook kept changing things on the inside, making the app’s features unusable.
In the end, I didn’t even earn $1,000. I spent almost all my money working tirelessly, but nothing ever took off.
Insights and the crash
Crisis makes you think. I realized my strength was in niche apps and decided to return to where I started: small apps covering specific needs without any unnecessary noise.
I made the Boomerang app, regardless of the fact that Instagram already had this feature. But I made a separate app, and it started to grow.
There was also an app filled with beautiful fonts for designing social media posts. An app for creating Reels. Once I realized my strengths, things started to look up again. I returned to the idea of collages. Every app began to make money. Whew!
Screenshot from my company website
Overall, the account had six apps with an above 4.5 stars average App Store rating. On August 21, 2023, I received a notification from Apple that they had removed my app from the App Store and were going to shut down my account if I did not correct the violations within 30 days. Not any specific violations, just “violations.”
I sent Apple evidence, screenshots, and offered access to the source files, but I was either ignored completely pr got an auto-reply. I was sure this was just some kind of mistake and waited for an answer. We continued to make updates and worked on new features. On September 20, the apps earned more than $3,000 in 24 hours for the first time and were removed by Apple the next day.
Payments were suspended, and I had $110,000 left in my account.
I was stunned.
The first appeal was rejected, the reasons for the blocking were unknown, and it was unclear what to do. I immediately submitted a second appeal. Eight weeks of silence and again a refusal.
I lost everything I worked for in a single day..
I started a petition on Change.org and shared my story in a tweet that gained significant traction. Someone from Twitter published my story on Hacker News; it became #1, collecting more than 400 comments. I received hundreds of support messages in my dms, and only then did Apple finally send an explanation.
According to them, my account was frozen “for association with a previously closed fraudulent account.” Of course, I had no connection with fraudulent accounts, otherwise I wouldn’t even be sharing the story in the first place. The only positive reaction to the hype was the return of $110,000.
I started my little investigation. The “fraudulent” account may have turned out to be my old account, which once contained the first app for creating before/after videos. The very same thing that started it all. I continued to pay $99 for this account because it is dear to me, it’s nostalgic and a part of my life.
Just before it was closed, I tried to publish a card game based on the popular game Never Have I Ever on this account. This concept seemed ideal for me to master interface solutions when moving from Swift UIKit to Swift UI.
But recently, other things have come to light. We found a company of former partners with an identical name to mine. Apparently, Apple connected me with this company that I didn't even know existed. But I can’t know for sure because there is no feedback from the corporation. Any letters with any arguments and documents are ignored.
I had to sue, but that’s a whole other big story. Communication with Apple is gfar from being related to development; maybe I’ll tell you about it someday.
What's next and what about other stores
90% of our profits came through Apple. We're now fully focused on Android and have grown 4x in 8 months, but it's still not enough to cover all development costs. I don’t make enough money to continue supporting the team. We're holding out for now because finding developers who understand graphics and video is difficult (by the way, a good niche for devs who are not sure what to try next).
The growth on Android is also related to the market's quirks: the Android audience is many times larger than the number of iPhone users, but not every Android can render a new video from 12 frames.
Back to my story. Next will be a trial, petitions, and pleas. I hope my experience will be useful to someone because I am not the first and, most likely, not the last to find myself in this situation. Corporations don't care about individual developers. Even if they are left with nothing.
It might sound trivial, but don’t put all your eggs in one basket. The larger the corporation, the less attention it will pay to you. With Apple, after blocking, you lose the opportunity to even talk to support on the phone. Text appeals only.
In fact, I communicated with the answering machine for a whole month until I was blocked. At any moment, you can lose everything you have - your account, apps, users. With the snap of a finger, what you thought belonged to you will disappear.
The only thing I realized is that only public discussion of the problem and the courts can somehow induce them to change their policy towards developers.
In the meantime, I’ll go get ready for the next update.

Denver 10 case recap
Awesome break, did this one live on the Denver card show floor Sunday. The recordings are on YouTube and Instagram if you want to rewatch. 36 beryls, 32 emerald, 26 garnet, 4 amethyst, 4 ruby, 2 aqua, 4 sapphire, 2 cold foil, 10 meta rare, 2 series 1 holo, 2 series 1 metarare gemstones. The 4 sapphires were the biggest surprise, as was the lack of golds. 🤷‍♂️ also only 2 cold foil, I think we had 7 in the Dallas break. This break was definitely a gamble. Some hit it big and some went hitless. The numbers to the right on the spreadsheets column are the gemstone hits. Everything is sorted and getting shipped out today. If you have not hit me up with a address that will definetly speed things up. Thanks to everybody in this community. This has been a blessing to put on for ya. Striving to do better every day. Jay

2024.05.28 14:08 bearspringson Top Web Design Trends to Look For in 2024

Top Web Design Trends to Look For in 2024
Top Web Design Trends to Look For in 2024

Introduction

As we move into 2024, web design continues to evolve at a rapid pace. Staying current with the latest trends is crucial for businesses and developers who want to keep their websites engaging, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. This year promises a host of exciting innovations and shifts that will shape how users interact with the web. From the integration of AI to the rise of minimalistic designs, these trends are set to redefine the digital landscape.

The Rise of AI and Machine Learning

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are increasingly becoming integral to web design. These technologies enable personalized user experiences by analyzing behavior and preferences. For example, AI-driven chatbots can provide instant customer support, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. Predictive analysis helps in tailoring content to meet individual user needs, making websites more intuitive and user-friendly.

Minimalistic Design with Bold Typography

Minimalism continues to dominate web design trends, but with a twist. The use of bold typography is becoming more prominent, providing a striking contrast to clean, simplistic layouts. This trend emphasizes the importance of readability and clear communication. Utilizing ample white space ensures that content is uncluttered, allowing for better user focus and interaction.

Dark Mode Design

Dark mode has gained significant popularity due to its aesthetic appeal and reduced eye strain for users. Implementing dark mode can extend battery life for devices with OLED screens and offers a sleek, modern look. Websites now often come with a toggle option, allowing users to switch between light and dark modes based on their preferences.

Voice User Interface (VUI)

With the growing use of smart speakers and voice-activated devices, Voice User Interface (VUI) is becoming a vital aspect of web design. Optimizing websites for voice search involves understanding natural language processing and ensuring content is easily discoverable through voice queries. This trend enhances accessibility, making it easier for all users, including those with disabilities, to navigate the web.

3D Visuals and Animations

3D visuals and animations add depth and interactivity to websites, making them more engaging. Tools like WebGL and Three.js are widely used to create stunning 3D graphics that captivate users. When implemented effectively, these elements can significantly enhance the user experience by providing a more immersive and dynamic environment.

Neumorphism

Neumorphism, or soft UI, combines skeuomorphism and flat design, creating interfaces that appear tactile and lifelike. This trend uses subtle shadows and highlights to mimic physicality, giving digital elements a realistic look. Design tools like Figma and Adobe XD support neumorphic designs, helping designers create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Sustainability in Web Design

Sustainability is becoming a key consideration in web design. This includes using eco-friendly hosting services, optimizing energy consumption, and designing for longer hardware life. Green UX involves creating efficient, user-centric designs that minimize environmental impact while maintaining high performance and usability.

Augmented Reality (AR) Experiences

Augmented Reality (AR) is revolutionizing web design by merging the digital and physical worlds. AR can enhance user interaction, offering unique and engaging experiences. Whether it's virtual try-ons in e-commerce or interactive product demonstrations, AR integration is expanding the possibilities for web design.

Micro-Interactions

Micro-interactions are subtle animations or design elements that provide feedback or enhance user experience. These can include button animations, hover effects, or loading indicators. When done right, micro-interactions can make a website feel more responsive and interactive, keeping users engaged and informed.

Asymmetric Layouts

Asymmetric layouts break away from the traditional grid structures, adding visual interest and uniqueness to web designs. 2024.05.28 10:57 MooseyJello Dream machine opinions? $2k

My grandma stumbled upon a savings fund that she forgot she had. She’s thinking of giving all us grandkids a chunk of money. Now, the amount of $2,000 was thrown around and she was encouraging me to pick out a nice sewing machine since I’ve started the hobby about 2 years ago.
I do some quilt top quilting, and have been loving trying to make my own new wardrobe. I sometimes work with thicker fabrics like denim and canvas. Not really into embroidery.
Is my best bet to get a nice $1500 sewing machine and use the rest for a serger? Any recommendations? My MIL is a quilter and crafter and loves her Juki and Pfaff and her Babylock. She also has a beast of a Bernina longarm.

2024.05.28 04:58 MaggiesMomma0913 Rope Baskets: Am I the only one struggling?

I have been sewing for YEARS, but am more self taught than anything... I also have a 6 needle embroidery machine, so I feel that I am pretty confident on sewing and embroidery machines, but I am struggling with these baskets!!
I made 3 the first weekend I attempted, and LOVED how they turned out! (Pics 1 & 2) I did break a few needles, but they looked awesome, and all fit together, and were a great gift for my step-mother.
Since then, I can barely stitch 5 zig-zag stitches before breaking a needle, or having it stop halfway through the rope, like it hit cement or something... I literally have broken > 10 needles and I haven't even gotten to the sides of the bowl yet. (Pic 3. Base is about 4" across right now.)
Details: I am using 1/4", 100% cotton braided rope (https://www.knotandrope.com/products/1-4-solid-braid-cotton?variant=40301142769764) , heavy duty needles, and 40 wt Rayon thread. (i looked for 50wt, but they didn't have any at Walmart, and this is the same I used for the first 3, so I don't see why it should be a problem, but I could be wrong).
I am using a Zig-zag stitch, and have tried everything from the default 3.5mm wide, to 6.5mm, thinking that could be part of the issue, but it keeps breaking at pretty much the same rate - constantly!
Since this roll of thread is wound horizontally, I even made sure the spool is upright, to make sure it isn't straining while coming off the spool. I have even slowed the speed down to a crawl, and it still jams up...
Does anyone have any advice? I REALLY loved the bowls I made the first time, and would LOVE to make more. I just don't understand what I could be doing so wrong!

2024.05.28 02:24 Fragrant-Tip-5573 Seeking Resume Feedback for Transition to Bank Teller Role

PLEASE HELP!
I'd appreciate some feedback on my resume. I'm applying for a bank teller position and transitioning away from photography and graphic design. I've previously applied for administrative assistant and bank teller roles but wasn't considered. Interviewers often focus on my experience as a wedding photographer and my graphic design background, which I get is the majority of my experience. I’m from a small island with no networking other than the highly saturated and low paying photography/graphic design field.
Besides a cover letter tailored to each application, how can I shift the focus away from my photography background? Or is this a good icebreaker question? The usual questions I get is why I no longer want to be a photographer and why I'm applying for a role so different from photography. It gets tiring to explain that I know how to answer a phone, use a fax machine, count cash, and other basic office stuff.
My explanation is that the pandemic has shown the instability in the tourism and wedding market, and I’m looking for a upward mobility in a more stable career. I also explain that while the job is different, my approach to photography involves skills valuable for a bank teller role. I excel at customer service, understanding customer needs, and delivering results promptly.
Most times, interviewers ask if I’m still a photographer and how much my rate is or if I can do social media. Please help me.
Resume Details: Font: Arial Nova Font size: 10 All Margins: 0.5
TL;DR: Transitioning from photography to bank teller. Need resume advice on shifting focus away from my photography background in interviews.

2024.05.28 02:00 WantonKerfuffle Hardware acceleration active according to system, but not used by programs

Hi,
I'm planning to switch completely to OpenBSD for day-to-day tasks and set up a Lenovo ThinkCentre with a Ryzen 2400G (Vega 8 graphics) for that. I successfully installed and set up Xfce. I noticed very high CPU usage and choppyness during operations which should be hardware accelerated (e.g. video playback) and started to investigate. According to everything I could gather, the OS tells me that GPU decoding is enabled while the programs (tested with Firefox, Blender and VLC) don't seem to be able to use it.

In Firefox, I tried forcing hardware acceleration with these settings: media.hardware-video-decoding.force-enabled layers.acceleration.force-enabled But I believe that this issue lies somewhere else, since the other mentioned programs can't use hw acceleration either.
During setup, I accidentally nuked /etc/X11/xenodm/xenodm-config and had to copy it from a slightly older (I think it was 7.3) install. It now looks like this: ``` DisplayManager.auth.Dir: /etc/X11/xenodm DisplayManager.errorLogFile: /valog/xenodm.log DisplayManager.servers: /etc/X11/xenodm/Xservers displayManager*resources: /etc/X11/xenodm/Xresources
DisplayManager*authorize: true DisplayManager*startup: /etc/X11/xenodm/Xstartup DisplayManager*session: /etc/X11/xenodm/Xsession DisplayManager*reset: /etx/X11/xenodm/Xreset DisplayManager*authComplain: true DisplayManager._0.setup: /etc/X11/xenodm/Xsetup_0 DisplayManager._0.startup: /etc/X11/xenodm/GiveConsole DisplayManager._0.reset: /etc/X11/xenodm/TakeConsole DisplayManager.*.authName: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 DisplayManager*autoLogin: user
```
Another, perhaps related quirk is that my monitor, when connected over HDMI, doesn't get recognized as an ultrawide. I compensate for that using an xrandr script which Xfce calls on login.
Disabling that script doesn't allow hw acceleration either.
One user on Reddit had a similar issue whicht hey could fix by disabling ReBar, but my ThinkCentre doesn't expose an option for that in the UEFI. The only GPU-related settings in the UEFI are the dedicated DRAM portion for the GPU (512 MB) and IOMMU (tried toggling it, already).
2024.05.27 23:44 Designer_Ad7332 New To Embroidery! Need advice ❤️
So, I have been cross-stitching for a few years and have recently picked up crocheting and decided I also want to pick up embroidery. I do have a sewing machine but I quite honestly don't know how to use it and I don't even know where to start when learning.
I have done a few practice stitches with embroidery but I was just wondering if I could get some pointers? What's some advice you would give to someone who's new to the hobby? For reference, the fabric that I got was one of those two yard packs from Walmart which is 100% cotton and I've been using DMC floss since that's what I have but that's also what I've seen be the most common used
2024.05.27 20:47 Chance-Peach1960 Comment faire pour régler le mauvais rythme car pris ma famille.
Bonsoir, Je vous écris aujourd'hui car je ne sais plus quoi faire pour régler la mauvaise pente que prenne ma famille. Je suis une f(26), l'aînée d'une fratrie de 4 enfants, j'ai quitté le cocon familial depuis un moment pour construire ma propre famille.
Mais depuis les choses sont devenus très compliqué pour ma mère, qui je le dis est trop gentille avec mes frères et ma sœur. Avant elle pouvait compter sur moi pour m'occuper de la maison et côté éducation pour mes cadets car étant mère célibataire elle n'avait pas d'autres choix que s'appuier sur moi. Mais depuis tout ce que je faisais elle se retrouve à le faire seule en plus de son travail.
Cela veut dire qu'elle se réveille à 3h du matin pour travailler, rentrer à la maison ranger, faire le ménage, la vaisselle, la lessive, les courses avec son chariot et la cuisine. Tout les jours.
C'est arrivé a un point où pour essayer de l'aider je lui ai ouvert un robot aspirateur laveur mais cela a créé une autre tension car mes frères se plaignent de devoir vider le réservoir de l'aspirateur. Le dernier m'a carrément dit que j'aurai du acheter ceux qui se vident seule en se chargeant, alors qu'à l'époque où j'avais acheté le robot il y avait pas des modèles comme ça. C'est a un point où quand on leurs demandes de jeter la poubelle ils se plaignent alors que les grosses poubelles sont juste en face de notre immeuble.
Aujourd'hui ma mère leurs a demandé d'arrêter de changer de vêtements tout les jours car ça lui fait des grosses machines surtout avec leurs pulls ils se sont encore énervés. Pourquoi ? Car ils disent qu'ils n'ont pas de vêtements à part leurs pulls et ma mère ne veut pas qu'ils les mettent car un il fait chaud et deux avec sa petite machine ça lui demande de faire 3 machines par jour et d'aller à la laverie les sécher au moins une fois par jour et trois elle considère qu'ils ont des vêtements. On leurs demandes du coup de trier leurs vêtements pour se débarrasser de ce qu'ils ne portent pas. Ça crée un problème encore.
Elle subit dans cette maison tout les jours et ça va de pire en pire.
Pour information mes frères et sœurs sont tous grand le plus jeune à 15 ans.
Donc comment faire pour régler cette mauvaise dynamique que ma famille a pris. Laisser ma mère faire tout et se prendre des crises à chaque fois qu'elle essaie de leurs faire comprendre que ça va pas ils sont tous contre elle.
C'est a arrivé au point qu'une fois pour rigoler en rentrant elle dit vous aurez préféré que je reste dehors et un de mes frères lui répond oui se serait mieux. Tout ça parce qu'elle est passée devant la TV et qu'il a perdu.
Ils lui manque de respect, ils lui font la misère et ne se rendent même pas compte des mots et des actions horribles qui lui font.
2024.05.27 20:37 smilingbubble_ Sewing machine and embroidery combo for under USD 1.5k?
I’m looking to upgrade my basic Brother sewing machine I got 15 years ago to a sewing/embroidery combo machine. I’m located in Southern California (LA/OC) and don’t mind trading my current machine in for a discount. I mostly make dresses and costumes from my machine. Some of my past sewing projects can be found in my Reddit post history.
Wishlist: - Under $1.5k for a new or used machine - Embroidery area to be at least 5x7” - Wireless compatible or automatic threader would be nice but not necessary
2024.05.27 20:21 Agling Are higher-end machines actually better at sewing?
I am looking to buy a pretty good quality sewing machine with embroidery capability. The higher end models go up in price extremely fast and have additional embroidery capability, but it's not clear whether they are also better as a sewing machine.
Let's look specifically at Brother. Is a machine like the Brother NQ3550W or one of the innov-is machines better at actually sewing than a lower-end but still good machine from the same company, like the SE2000 at less than half the price? More robust motor and internals, for example?
Or looking at another company, is the Husquvarna Viking Ruby actually better as a sewing machine than a model like the Topaz, that costs multiple times less.
My application: Right now my wife has an entry-level Brother machine and she sews a lot. I would like to spend a few thousand dollars on a really nice machine for her (and me). I can see how embroidery features change with price, but it's really difficult to tell which machines are better for sewing, if any are.
Suggestions? Am I even looking at the right brands?
I'm in the US and open to buying used or whatever. Upper limit of my budget would be something like, maybe, $4,000. Really, it's more about whether it's worth the money than if I can afford it.
I’m very new to machine embroidery. This is the biggest piece I have done so far.
I’m still learning my machine but I’m making progress.
2024.05.27 19:06 cplkm Brother innovis 1000
I just purchased a used machine and while waiting for it was teaching myself to digitize my logos. I then wondered how I get my own designs onto the machine. I didn't see a USB port in the pictures or mentioned in the manual online. I know it takes the embroidery cards. Do I have to upload into a card or am I missing something? Thanks for any help!
(...) elles font partie aujourd'hui des armes les plus redoutables du très large catalogue de machines minières du constructeur et pour cause car ses grandes pelles hydrauliques minières jusqu'à 660tons pour le moment sont en train de défier la concurrence mondiale comme jamais auparavant!. Des pelles de hautes productions, à très haut rendement, à efficience sans équivalence, à taux de disponibilité record, à robustesse et longévité garanties, à coût d'exploitation parfaitement maîtrisé et aux performances globales qui ne souffrent nullement de la comparaison bien au contraire. D'excellentes machines pour les utilisations les plus intensives dans les plus extrêmes des conditions et qui font leurs preuves en toutes situations en de très nombreux exemplaires en service et pas seulement en Chine et en Asie. En effet le fabricant par un choix stratégique reste plus ou moins discret sur la destination des exportations desdites grandes pelles mais il faut le savoir elles sont opérationnelles sur tous les continents et par d'importantes commandes. Un exemple avec sa nouvelle 570tons (vidéo) qui si elle n'est pas encore officiellement sur le marché est pourtant déjà livrée en plusieurs unités et avec une production actuellement en site d'assemblage de quatre unités en équipement rétro. Cette 570tons pulvérisant des records en tous genres et inégalés par la concurrence. Tous les grands modèles de la marque enregistrent une progression commerciale majeure avec des ventes et donc y compris à l'export en forte hausse, des pelles haut de gamme, très modernes et novatrices, aux avantages et atouts exceptionnels et associées à une assistance technique mondiale du constructeur particulièrement réactive et efficace H24. Les matériels miniers de la marque sont aujourd'hui des références et référencés chez les plus grands opérateurs internationaux du mining et ses grandes pelles à fort taux de croissance ne font que confirmer du savoir-faire spectaculaire et indépendant de la société sur ce segment au combien important.
