I'm due to change my Mark 2. Honestly, my phone is still really good and really fast. Unlike my other phones for my Pokemon Go. Laggy. Lol.
I have 3 other Samsung Phones and other brands right now for different purposes. I'll probably keep my money and wait for s25.
I'm sad, I always use Sony as my primary Phone. I buy it since Sony Ericsson era. I stick to it cuz it's unique and nobody has it in my place. I like the 21:9 aspect ratio, 4K display, Headphone Jack, LED Notification light, Side-mounted Fingerprint Scanner, and Shutter Button.
Slowly they're removing those features one by one. LED Notification light ....gone. 21:9 aspect ratio....gone. 4K display....gone.
Oh well, life. I'll just stay as a permanent Lurker in Sony's world till they're gone or none to see. The thing is, it's not because of a bad economy or extraordinary circumstances that this thing is happening to them. It's they're own fault.

- Don't change what people love, enhance not remove
- Price it appropriately, since you admit that you don't really expect any income from this department of Sony and using it as a showcase of your technology, why not price it as minimum as possible. Let the 5 and 10 as your true income generator. Lol
- Since you don't really alter Android OS, why not copy paste google's work and tweak some special apps and operations of yours, then voilà instant update..... then repeat. Therefore it's easier for you to support OS updates for years. I know it's easier than done... But try it.

I’m new to self publishing and I’ve offered to help an author navigate distribution. We are looking at POD options.
He’s already setup with Blurb to print a hardcover book with color pages for around $40 - $50 per book, making $3 profit on each sale. I’m not sure of the trim size. (I’ve just started this project this week, still waiting for more details.)
I’m reading that KDP is a less expensive way to print and distribute. But I’m not seeing that by using their calculator.
For the smallest trim size hardcover with color pages, it would need a minimum list price of $59. Only profiting $0.18 per sale. Can anyone help me understand what I could be missing?
I was wondering if shipping cost/time could be a factor to consider but I can’t kind any shipping information for KDP. Otherwise, maybe KDP is using higher quality materials?
Any thoughts or side by side comparisons would be very helpful. We’re hoping to keep listing prices similar across sites without raising the cost on Blurb.

I bought my house 4 years ago and for a good, Covid, price but only problem yup you Guessed it HOA. I love my home and the view is amazing I wouldn’t want to sell but my HOA seems to be changing for the 3rd time to a new company and it’s so annoying. I set up auto pay then they raise prices started at $45 a month I think ok not too bad now it’s up to $72 a month my neighborhood isn’t even that great. The streets and side walks are all cracked the park playground is from the stone ages how can they justify raising prices but making our neighborhood look so shitty?

This tells us how much of the float each OI is equivalent to as a %, and how much it cumulatively is, too. We can surmise the following:
OI as of start of day, May 15, 2024 By the way, I make no mention of "max pain". That's because it's not a thing. A useful thing, anyway. 39-month LEAPSTl;dr: This "theory" is a complete and utter horseshit.The most glaring error is that the smooth brain that came up with this did not actually check if those LEAPS even existed in Feb 2021 (39 months ago). These are the farthest out OI at that time - only the Jan 2023 chain existed then: Farthest out expiries on Feb 28, 2021 691 days is 23 months. That's 16 months short. Those alleged 39-month LEAPS didn't even exist at that time. I'll do you one better - here is the option chain from Jan 2022 - still no May 2024. Farthest out expiries on Jan 1, 2022 And no, we cannot have private derivative transactions show up on a public chain, so any claims of "this was a private transaction" are also moot. That those claimed expiries don't exist makes perfect sense, of course. Equity LEAPS are only ever there 24 months out any given time, with very few exceptions. Only ones which will have 3+ year chains are indices, like SPX. A related claim is that somehow LEAPS were used by shorts to hedge. Apart from the lunacy of hedging for 39 months (lol), LEAPS are an absurdly inefficient way to delta hedge. If under pressure, shorts will hedge with short DTEs, so that the cost is not that high, and the higher gamma works in their favor. (And no, shorts are not and have not been "stuck," which is often the hope and basis for many of these absurd claims.) Clearly this 39-month LEAPS claim was the product of a moron masquerading as a market commentator. They didn't even know what they didn't know to know how wrong they were. Hilarious and sad at the same time. But not surprising, given where it came from, and their track record of pumping out horseshit that has almost never passed the test of time. Okay - for context I’m a ✨budget✨ showjumper. I bought all my tack myself as a teenager, but I bought cheap / 2nd hand shit which is no longer really working. I am SLOWLY getting through the list of things I need to replace, but I’d love to see what everyone’s opinion of what order I should replace these things. Prices are as is. Going to buy reasonably priced items with nicer leather so I don’t need to do this again in 5 years.

- breastplate: currently have a very cheap, Indian leather breastplate which fits kinda meh. It is on its last legs. Main issue is the piece between the legs is so long that it drops quite far down and I’m worried about getting a leg stuck over a jump. He hasn’t for 8 years, but still. New one would be about $250
- girth: I have 3 different girths, all of which are the wrong size (120, 125, 140) because they were all hand me downs or I was told the correct size (130) when it wasn’t. Girth is either too loose or I have to fight for my life to get the buckle onto the billets. Oh also not a single one is the correct shade of brown. A new one is on sale atm for $100 ish (instead of $300)
- stirrup leathers: I have synthetic ones. They’re shit. I also have second hand leather ones which are too long and stretched on one side. Replacement is more about aesthetics.
- bridle: pretty simple, current one is getting old (and a little gross). Cheap leather. Aesthetic purposes, mostly for shows. New would be about $200.

 | I obviously am not including all the pictures. This is how it looked from day 1 of us moving in a few months back. We should have demanded a repaint but we’re in a big rush to move in. 90% of the walls are painted with a quarter of the wall with a clear paint line. There are dents everywhere that were just painted over, and the dents that were patched are very clear to anyone. These apartments were just built in 2020, so my guess is the previous residents absolutely destroyed the walls. I wouldn’t mind if this apartment was $1k-$1500 a month, but I pay over $2,000 a month(in a rural area) and think the paint job isn’t good for that price. Additionally, the fridge is scratched from one side to the other, and the guest bathroom has a very strong musty smell. I am wondering if the apartment actually flooded at some point and that’s why all the walls are clearly repainted, but not the full wall. My mother in law has got to be one of the most horrendous humans alive. I wish I had a place to start, but in all honesty I just want to have no contact with her ever again but I know it wont be possible because my husband wants his parents in our lives.
To begin this tragic turn of events I guess I will start about a year and a bit before my husband (32M) and I (33F) got married in August of 2022. We had asked both FIL and MIL to be if they would help us with some of the payments for the wedding. My parents had agreed to helping with paying for a third of our wedding, his parents though asked what the price point would be and then assumed it would only be about $550 that would be needed. I told them that when my older sister had gotten married it was about #$25,000 at the end of the day, they had over 100 people attend their wedding as well. They looked at me and said sorry, we can't help you out. My parents, my husband and I paid for the whole wedding just as a precursor to what is about to happen.
We were finalizing our guest list, which at this point was our immediate family no extras. We were having a smaller wedding of only 25ish people, when my then fiancés mom decided to say I want my sisters to be invited to the wedding. We both talked about this and ended up saying no, she asked a couple weeks later if she could have her sisters invited and we again said no. Two months before the wedding when we had sent our invitations out for the save the date and actual wedding invitation, his parents came to our house and his mother proceeded to guilt trip us by saying "My sisters are my immediate family. If my sisters don't get invited then there will be no more relationship between us." Meanwhile my now husband should have said "Sorry mom, but this isn't your wedding so your immediate family isn't invited to a wedding that isn't your wedding." Instead he looked at me and I will just say yes I was a people pleaser. I turned to him and said "We will have to check with my parents to make sure there is enough space..." My parents were not happy with the concept of having to add another person or two to the list of people coming. In the end only one sister was able to make it.
She called us a month before the wedding demanding a rehearsal dinner with just the wedding party and parents were allowed to attend. When I heard that I told my now husband, that won't work seeing as we have a lot of people staying at our venue. The venue was hosted by my family friends, so to say the least I wasn't impressed that my grandmother, my family friends, my siblings partners and everyone else helping out with the wedding wouldn't have been included in this dinner. I said to them I will join you for dinner but if we aren't including the rest of the people at the wedding then no one else would be there to celebrate with us.
Fast forward to the day before the wedding, the in laws to be are upset they didn't get any jobs to do to help with the wedding at all. Well my MIL to be actually was given a job, she ignored it to the point where a surprise for my now husband and I were going to be getting ended up getting ruined because she was so ignorant of my moms messages and pleas to get some pictures of my husband from when he was a baby to the present time so they could create a slideshow for us. Then I asked her to do another task, which was getting wine for us and they did but that was it for anyone wanting help from them.
The evening hit and my husband and I set out to go tot he rehearsal dinner (it wasn't even a rehearsal dinner just a dinner). We got there and all night his mother complained about how no one else showed up for the rehearsal dinner. I started to tune her out until she said "I was wondering if I should just get ready at the cottage with the rest of the bridal party seeing as I am getting my hair and makeup done there anyways." I looked at her stunned she thought that she could just invite herself to someone else's home. I responded with "I can always check to see if that would be alright." The dinner finishes and neither of the in laws to be paid for dinner, instead my husband paid for the whole dinner. Happy wedding eve to us love us right?
Later that night I gave my now husbands phone a call, and I told him "Can you explain to your mom that I want my pictures with my family to be just that my family. I would prefer it if she got ready and came back to the cottage with the rest of you." He understood and explained that to her, and I thought that would be the end of the drama my MIL to be would end up doing. Was I ever wrong!
I barely slept that night having the wedding jitters, I was so excited and nervous to be marrying my best friend. The day started and my MIL to be at the time arrived, and was painfully honest with the hair stylists doing our hair. According to my hairstylist she had said "I was told I was allowed to get ready here, I was then told that I couldn't stay. She doesn't like me, she was so unkind to me I just wanted to share this day with her.." Meanwhile I am having anxiety with everything starting to happen. Honestly the only thing my MIL to be wanted to do was see me in my dress before my husband to be ever got to see it. Oh I almost forgot to mention she tried to get away with not paying my parents back for her hair and makeup, she asked me how much she owed my dad and I said for right now he has it covered but after the wedding I would let her know what she owed him.
When she returned with the rest of the family to take the grooms side of the families pictures she decided it would be a good idea to try and see me in my dress again, I literally ran into a room to hide because I wanted my husband to see my dress before his side got to see it. The rest of the day goes by without any issues though and honestly it was an amazing day minus all the extra drama.
A week goes by and my mom asks me about why my no husbands mom hadn't paid for any of the things she was supposed to pay for, I said I told her she would have to pay back what is owed. My mom reached out to her and my MIL said "Well I was told that I didn't have to worry about paying for anything. I thought (insert dads name here) had it all covered and paid for." Finally my mom got her to pay for something.
I absolutely hate her and her drama and honestly I guess that's why her name is Karen. Stay tuned for more drama from this MIL from hell.

Oh I almost forgot to mention she tried to get away with not paying my parents back for her hair and makeup, she asked me how much she owed my dad and I said for right now he has it covered but after the wedding I would let her know what she owed him.
When she returned with the rest of the family to take the grooms side of the families pictures she decided it would be a good idea to try and see me in my dress again, I literally ran into a room to hide because I wanted my husband to see my dress before his side got to see it. The rest of the day goes by without any issues though and honestly it was an amazing day minus all the extra drama.
A week goes by and my mom asks me about why my no husbands mom hadn't paid for any of the things she was supposed to pay for, I said I told her she would have to pay back what is owed. My mom reached out to her and my MIL said "Well I was told that I didn't have to worry about paying for anything. I thought (insert dads name here) had it all covered and paid for." Finally my mom got her to pay for something.
I absolutely hate her and her drama and honestly I guess that's why her name is Karen. Stay tuned for more drama from this MIL from hell.

This is the plug on the wall where I will mount the TV, with a corresponding set of the same plugs over the other side of the room. Wondering how best to hook in HDMI peripherals (PlayStation, chromecast etc) to the tv while keeping the cables hidden?
Obviously could go straight into the back of the TV but I won’t be able to hide the cables so was wondering if the HDMI to Ethernet boxes are appropriate or any tips to look out for (eg do the cheap boxes do the job as there are huge price variances)?

I work at a big post company. When I joined, the creative leadership was running it. Prod was almost like a support role. This kinda made sense to me since the final product were frames. But there was a cool bond between the VFX Sup and the Producer. EOD VFX sup was the boss of the show however. Studio leadership was very senior heavy industry veterans, but yet again more artist and sup rather than production.
Fast forward, strikes etc , good guys left, good producers left and we ended up on the other side. Prod heavy as leadership. Cutting corners, skipping lots of steps to hit the ground running, needles to say lots of work sent out to India due to price. Quality dropped , clients not happy.
How do we keep a good balance ? Do we have to keep a balance ? Too many cooks in the kitchen or not enough? Does prod heavy will always mean low quality, does creative heavy mean no profit ?
What do you think ?

Why wouldn't they, after all, who's side do you think MarketWatch, Barron's, CNBC, Jim Cramer, et al are on? Ours, the common man? 100% without any doubt they see each and every one of us as "the masses," too dumb, too banal, too immediate gratification oriented to even be considered human, just human-like, Apes indeed. These battles we fight are not a "meme stock craze," they are a "movement." GME was a "movement" stock. FFIE is too. If you understand that then you can start to understand the real potential of the price. The redistribution of wealth at their expense instead of vice versa. They want you and me to toil for 47 years putting 10% into an IRA that earns 6.5% annually with operating expenses and fees. Too risk that paltry amount against a severe market correction right at retirement, to lag behind inflation every decade or so, to watch as basic housing becomes a luxury expense. They set the rules up to keep us down, then when we find a way, they call their servant Congressman and rail for action. Then they tell you if you're not set it's because you've been lazy, didn't work hard enough, were unlucky. Sure, you can get angry about that outlook, or you can understand it and change your standard of living by using that information to understand what's going on here. I choose both.

This is very much a LNIB knife. Love the blade steel and was going to make this my daily but got a sage to take that place. I just couldn’t do it to such a nice blade. Generally im ok with the new items and new maps and changes, because imo it feels refreshing and makes the game more fun since we dont just play the same game for 7 years for example.
BUT,
As a Yasuo Yone Irelia lover, this patch really sucks and im gonna be completely honest here. Before the patch, when it first got leaked or anounced, i was sure that this wasnt the full list of items because there isnt a single AS+Crit+AD item anymore, and Yasuo/Yone has weak early games thats a known fact. People generally mix his 2 item power spike with early game but you are free to play as him, they are not "strong" early game.
Anyway as a years long Yasuo player im not here too argue if he is strong early or not with the people who i dont even know. My point is;
Now, we as Yasuo/Yone mains literally have no ideal Rune, No ideal itemization and fuck ideal, we literally dont have itemization.
And thats only because of bad item design. There are only 6 crit items, which none gives AS except PD, and guess what? PD doesnt give any AD.
So lets say you wanna rush IE as they said (lol, delusional workers ig), You have no "AS" TILL you fuckn finish that 3400 or whatever price item which btw has one of the costliest builds with its components. And fun part is this is the shittiest build you can do because now you spend 4500 (including boots) and you dont have AS, you dont have a complete Crit, basically you are shit.
So if i want to be relevant in lane somehow, there is only PD that gives AS and Crit. And guess what? Now you cant even fuckn kill the minions while every bruiser and mage one shots the whole wave, you will fight for your life with the minions to kill the wave lmao. Why is that you may ask? Simple because PD is shit for a first item, no AD at all. Like literally 0 AD. Lets assume you played incredible (this patch this is the only way to get some kills in early lane), based after that and spend all your gold on PD and Boots, congrats! When you go back to your lane, enemy AP will be stronger than you. They have fuckn unlimited options that gives them AH, AP, Mana, and hundreds of side abilities.
So technically i have to diff my lane AT LEAST 3000 gold or smt to actually feel that im ahead like wtf?
Oh lets talk about the other option(s) lol.
You can go Blade of the Ruined King and thats a good item right? Congrats now you need to wait till 30 minutes to have %100 crit unless you are giga snowballed WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE A FIRST ITEM FFS. We dont have a SECOND ITEM we dont have THIRD ITEM, we dont even have any other fuckn options which was already a problem with the old items and runes (Lethal tempo only option, items had at least a few options but it wasnt that wide as other champs like mages or bruisers for example).
Win rate for Yasuo Yone is below %50 and its not %48-49 or smt, some regions have %42, and except low elo, he doesnt even have smt like %48, Its just %42-44-45 or whatever. The champ is UNPLAYABLE, like literally you guys are free to try. Having a better match-up knowledge or having a better laning phase as a player doesnt even matter know because 0/4 Zoe will just come with her jungle and one shot you no matter what you do.
PS.
Im ok to champs being slightly strong or slightly weak but this is not about him being weak, this is something completely different. We cant build items, we cant chose a rune, We cant play our laning phase, like imagine an AA champ having hard times to clear the fuckn minion waves? Is this normal? Dont fuckn touch to Yasuo, he is fine. Just fix this stupid item problem, why do we have to pick specific and forced items? And before the patch as i said, it was already really limited but at least he was playable with that 2-3 paths of itemization.
Now we are forced to play the same way because any other way doesnt even makes sense and that ONLY WAY sucks hard, like really hard. Fix this as soon as you guys can but if i know my bois they will first buff Yasuo, then he will be fuckn too OP, then they will nerf or fix the items, and then because Yasuo became too OP, they will nerf the shit out of him like they did to other champs in the past and he will be unplayable again xd

So back story here and it’s LONG.. buckle in.. We purchased a home in rural Ontario, in a small hamlet with about <100 people. A majority of our neighbours are Mennonite- specifically to the right and left of us. There is a new subdivision right near us, and expansion is bringing a lot of people from all walks of life. So I wouldn’t say we moved into “Mennonite” territory.
We purchased the house in June - and upon closing our left side Mennonite neighbour had put up a 9ft fence on closing day, a couple inches from the property line - and did not inform us he was planning such. It obscures our backyard access from our left, but again it was a surprise on closing. Ok, we moved in and got over the Fort Knox wall, and decided to just leave it be and not make waves as new owners. He said he wanted his privacy, our driveway is shared, we understand that the homes are very close together.
Then this same neighbour informed us he had bought the small parcel of land behind us, and that he would be doing whatever he wanted with said land. A parcel that creates an L shape around our property. We were upset, and asked him if we could buy the land off him, he refused and stated a ridiculous price tag it was thrice what that dirt patch is worth, but he knows that. So we conceded and decided to let it go.
We noticed that there were some more items on the list that were a bit shady of our left neighbours, including a barn shed that was built too close to the property line for its size, and for our lot sizes. Think 20x25 by 17ft tall. Massive. Not code. Likely not permitted. I mentioned this to him in passing - he threatened if I called bylaw on his barn that he’s a Mexican Mennonite… whatever the hell that means.
Fast forward to another month, left neighbour planted corn in behind our backyard. It was nice to look at, I was pleasantly surprised that’s what he was doing w the parcel so we just went about life…until…a smell. Sitting outside in my yard I suddenly felt I was transplanted into a cattle farm. I couldn’t figure why my house was COATED in flies. So I decided to take a stroll around the corn he had planted and found 3 calves. In 1/8th of an acre/parcel of land. Directly down wind was our home and worst of all, our drinking well and the property is on a slope. I was furious. I immediately approached him and told him to remove his cattle - that it’s not allowed in a residential setting, and he told me, that it’s zoned agricultural, and he will remove them “when it’s convenient for him.” I was not impressed by his behaviour, he basically brushed me off as if it was his land and too effing bad for me. So I waited. And waited. 2 months passed by and my backyard was officially unbearable of smell. I called bylaw. They instructed him to remove cattle immediately, and he did within 7 days. Now he knows it was me, as the right neighbour (also Mennonite) to the other side of us is close with him.
This lovely Mennonite sandwich we have here - was also partaking in cattle maintenance and also didn’t inform us, but there were multiple occasions honest conversation could have happened. During bylaws visit - left neighbour was told to get rid of his chickens, which he did and then brought back. Here’s where right neighbour comes into play. They also have illegal chickens, and use our back yard as an egg freeway to trade and swap things for chickens, eggs, whatever. This happens all day. At various times. No problem even when we’re privately in our hot tub or sitting by our fire. ZERO CARE for our privacy. Front yard is just as open - but they would rather use backyard where they’re bothering us.
So… I called bylaw again. And put a stop to chicken egg freeway. What do you think? Am I the only one who would handle this situation this way? Aitah?!

My mother ALWAYS was very very controlling. While in school, always wanting to know what I did in class, how was my day, the name of my friends, etc. But ok, that wasn't that bad. When I started college (2020 🤡) she wanted to know everything also. I studied in the morning, they would pick me up because I still didn't had a car license and getting the bus was a "little" dangerous because of, well, 🇧🇷. And they would always say "why you need to stay on the campus?? We are not going to get you in the middle of the afternoon because of traffic" or some BS. Then came the pandemic, only got worse. My father on the political side, denying the vaccines, my mother completely paranoid with the virus (kinda of understandable) and my sister who married and got out of the house a few years back debating 24/7 with my dad because she is from the health area.
Always that I do something out of the ordinary she just makes as I've killed a person. Such drama. Now I just said to her I'm traveling with my GF to a nearby city and she went "OMG We can't catch a break, when we think everything is OK you do this" and just shut her face off as someone in the family just died or something. And yes, she refers to herself as "we". No, she isn't non binary or anything, I just think she has such a weak mind that can't say "I don't like it".
Why? Because she says the road is dangerous to there (it isn't). Bro I have my license for almost 3 years now, and rode about 30.000Km and a few trips with different cars. I know how to handle myself. She doesn't trust me. She doesn't like if I do anything that she doesn't agree or think "is right". She asks me constantly about my GF and her family, my friends, my coworkers, EVERYTHING. You know why? Because if I say to her "Xavier likes coffee". Bro, on her BIRTHDAY, we went to a restaurant and I ordered some fried shrimp (the price of regular two plates) because we like as a family but my parents love sea food. I paid it. I'm not kidding, she went about 3 weeks saying stuff like "...I have a rich son that work's at ____" because I bought some shrimp.Just because one time I got my GF to some nice restaurants she does the same. As if I was paying 1000$ per plate. And she talks with so much irony that honestly, doesn't even make me mad anymore. Just sad.
The problem is: I can't go out. I can't get out of my house. The car is mine but if I wanted to sell it to have some cash to start financing a home (don't want to because the car is one of the only forms of freedom I have) I can't. Because the car "is mine". The documents are on my name but you know how it is. They paid for it, it's theirs. Even if legally speaking isn't. Housing is so fucking expensive. Even the first payment (we call it here "Entrada") generally speaking is 20% of the total value of the house, then you finance it for 15,20,30 years depending on your situation). And yes, you can pay that years and years before 30.
The thing is, 20% for a house nowadays in my city in around 50K (300K apartment). My wage is 2,5K/month. How on earth can I do this? Simple, I can't. The only cheaper alternatives are on another cities which is a problem because of my university and job (hybrid).

My mom said to me "Why won't you sell this drum? You don't even play anymore" well because I'm fucking depressed that's why. She could so much say to me "look, you look sad, why won't you go and play a little? Might cheer you up" or something. Boy I would kill to get this type of love from them.

Hey people, just found this community and I really need some place to talk with people that understand me (hopefully). Don't worry, I'm not going to end myself or anything (despite the title).
22 M living with my parents. I'm brazilian so the whole "get out when you are 18" isn't a thing around here. My parents are both from the 60's so old fashioned would be an understatement.
Do you people also stay locked in your room form majority of the day? Because I do. I work fully home office in a company so I have the "best" excuse.

I’ve been putting off buying a new mattress for about 6 months now, but my back pain has flared up again recently. Was planning on buying the classic Purple, but the price has increased like $300-$400 in that time, and I really don’t feel like it’s worth that.
I’m now considering one of the Tempur-pedic supreme from Costco but am not sure whether to get the medium or medium hybrid.
I currently sleep on a 9+ year old coil mattress with a 2 inch gel memory foam topper. I’m a side sleeper (F, 24yo, 5’7”, ~125lbs) and I wake up with lower back pain every single day (slightly reduced if I sleep with a pillow between my legs). I’ve tried taking the topper off, but the mattress itself is too hard and I wake up with shoulder and hip pain.
I’m thinking that since I’m on the lighter side, the all foam medium would be better, but I’m worried about not having enough support for my lower back, and being in the same pain I am now, especially over time as the mattress breaks in.
Can anyone who’s had either of these share your experience and sleeping position, weight, etc for reference?

TL/DR: Kid’s keep disrespecting my boundaries. The youngest one think she’s entitled to play with my dog whenever she wants and expects me to let her get away with it.

So, there are kids that live in my neighborhood who are ages 12m, 11f, 10m and 7f. The 12 and 11 year olds are siblings, the 10 and 7 year old are not. Let’s call the siblings J and T, and the other two R and A.
J and T like any typical brother and sister duo are always fighting on and off. They used to play with each other outside with other kids, but because J is almost a teenager, he prefers to stay inside and game with his friends. Also funny fact, R has an older brother that also games and can often be heard screaming when he loses a match. It’s quite hilarious!
Anyways T, R, and A have been playing together and whenever I step outside I am polite and we have small chats about their day and other things. Sometimes I offer them snacks. I mean who doesn’t like a free cookie?
But here is the problem. Though I am 24, I look like a child. I’ve had to tell the kids more than once that I can’t “play” with them as I am an adult. Not too long ago, I lost my puppy and was devastated. The kids loved her and were at school when this happened and I’m glad they didn’t see what I did, because it was traumatic. My poor baby was hit by my mom’s jeep and she died almost instantly. I just sat there holding her paw crying because I knew she was gone. Just typing this is so hard for me but it’s part of my story. I miss her every day and I cannot stop blaming myself for her death. She was laid to rest in my backyard and I haven’t went to sit with her because I know I would break down again.
Lucky, I was given her little sister from the same litter from the sweet guy my dad got her from. I say “little” because my baby was WAY bigger than her littermate, and the puppy I have now was actually the runt. I was so happy, told the guy thank you over and over and snuggled my new pup. In response she gave me kisses. She sat in my lap the 30 minutes it took us to get home, and cried a few times. Each time she did I would snuggle her and tell her it’s okay and she eventually fell asleep. We’ve been best friends ever since.
Unfortunately for the very first week we had trouble with her. My poor baby had severe separation anxiety and would cry and howl and would refuse to sleep without me with her. Because I am attached to a medical device I couldn’t afford to let her sleep with me as she has tugged on both my infusion set and site (I have an insulin pump) and whenever she did, it hurt. Bad. We almost gave her back and her behavior changed drastically.
She has learned when I leave, I’ll always come back. She has learned it’s okay if she doesn’t sleep with me. She always waits patiently for me to come back home or to wake up. I am always greeted with a tail wag and one happy puppy.
The kids have met her and love her. We have a special enclosure outside for my puppy where she can run and play. The problem is, A has come over more than once and let my puppy out without asking. My dad has caught her each time. This freaks me out. There are several large dogs in our neighborhood with breeds that are considered dangerous and if they aren’t with their owners, said owners get arrested for putting children and other pets into potential danger. One of these dogs literally ate two of my kittens. I am not kidding. Legitimately one of the most gruesome things I’ve ever seen. I cannot imagine losing my baby to those hellions.
A also after letting my puppy loose will often wonder off and my puppy will follow her ACROSS the street which only increases my anxiety as I remember her sister’s death and I would absolutely lose my shit if my puppy got hit by a car. An important thing to note is that A has been dubbed as annoying by older kids and parents because she constantly bothers people wanting to play regardless of age and will just stay in people’s yards until she is forcefully told to go home. My mom and brother do not like this child because of this.
Each time A has done this, both my father and I have gently told her to ask before she takes my dog out to play and that though my puppy is sweet, she could potentially get bitten if she overwhelms her or that she could get in trouble if my dog got hurt or killed.
Did this little girl listen? No the fuck she did not and today was my final straw.
I was laying down and was falling asleep in bed when my dad alerted me that A again took my dog out with her usual excuse. I. GOT. PISSED. I jumped up and threw on some shoes and stomped out to the porch. T and A were playing with my dog. I didn’t yell but said in a stern tone to stop taking my dog out without my permission and that I was going to talk to their parents if this happened again. I told them there is no telling when my puppy gets aggravated by being constantly bothered and they could end up bitten and I also didn’t want her getting hurt or killed. I made a promise to take good care of her. A gave her the usual excuse of wanting to play with my dog with T claiming it “wasn’t her idea.” I was shaking so bad from being angry that I accidentally sliced my finger while preparing my puppies lunch. R who was there saw and heard everything later told me that the girls don’t listen to any adults.
I’m still angry. I have the right to be. I have a feeling this is gonna happen again and ISTG if the parents don’t do anything I’ll take legal action

The swipes occurred on both highs and lows, but yesterday something different happened: a reclaim of the HOD swipe. Reclaim of HOD swipe = buy.
With CPI data, $NVDA was finally able to break above the heavy 910-920 liquidity zone. This is great and all, but the CPI data was the perfect addition to sustain the market's momentum, and maintain a strong market cycle. During a strong market cycle, bullish themes (repeated behaviors) are front of mind.
$NVDA had one major theme today: dip buying. Dip buying in a strong market cycle/strong $SPY flows was the perfect recipe for $NVDA to run and capitalize on the long side (longing a call).

Entry #1: Roll up from yesterday's position (+$610)
Entry/Exit #2 (not pictured) AND Entry #3: Bad cut on Exit #2; I am far from perfect and this is one example of where I need to get better, I paid the price and reentered my initial position for $90 worse on Entry #3 (-$90)
