I'm looking to drafting a bodice block for myself. I've found plenty of free tutorials and a few online books that could do the job but they all use the imperial system. (Cries in mainland european ...) It throws me for a real loop. I can't make it through the steps. Somehow my measurement conversion is always off/wrong.
Where can I find some good resources in the metric system for drafting a bodice block?

I posted recently about a bad experience buying an office chair. I tried to avoid buying from amazon since then, but here we are. I needed a specific notebook and bought it in a local online store, but they sent me an email saying they were out of stock and offered to refund me if i was in a hurry.
So yes, i cancelled that order and purchased it in Amazon. So total list price is 23€, and i have free shipping costs if I add up to 35€. So i add couple of things i also need (printer paper / USB high speed cable) and i'm set for the purchase.
Now, i reach the payment options and i don't get the "standard shipping" option (that is required for the free shiping) for all my products (in fact, is kind of random, sometimes is the notebook, sometimes is the cable, but never all three). So i contact support by chat, agent checks and sees everything is ok, then she instruct me to proceed with the purchase, pay the 3,99€ shipping costs, and later she will reimburse me, she asks me to send screenshots, and tells me that she lets everything written and as far as i receive the products to contact them.
So i contact them once received, assuming this was just a direct reimbursement and after being transferred to 5 different agents and a supervisor, the conclusion is that "as i selected the xxx shipping option, i'm not eligible for a refund"... unbelievable. Even if the option xxx was the only available, even when this was the Agent direct instructions, and even when i had the chat history to demonstrate all this.
So i'm really pissed, this is just 4€, but the lying, the waste of time, and the absolutely lack of service orientation of these guys is just too much for me. tbh i'm really done.
My petty revenge started today, I had another need, an electric brush, and I purchased it in another store. They will loss much more benefit from me than the f*g 4€ they just stole.

I have recently made a AI based youtube shorts channel for kids. It's doing great so far. Tbh this is the first time I got some youtube success. Kids' channels are growing the fastest on YouTube. Channels like Cocomelon get more views than Mr. Beast. This is the first video I made for this channel. Everything from script to audio and video is done with AI. Here are the steps I followed
First go to ChatGPT. Now that 4o is free for everyone we have better outputs. We use ChatGPT to generate rhymes or songs. 4o is great at it. The prompt:
Can you create 10 children's rhymes of 4 paragraphs each that are educational and entertaining? Please include a variety of topics such as animals, space, fairy tales, everyday heroes like firefighters and doctors, seasons, and important life skills like sharing and kindness. Each rhyme should be catchy, easy to understand for young children, and incorporate fun facts or moral lessons where applicable. Feel free to introduce imaginative characters and vibrant settings to make the rhymes more engaging.
You have 10 poems now. Go to Suno .com and create an account, you can use google. Now from the create page, select “Custom Mode”. Copy paste one the the lyrics/rhymes. For style of music I used, “children rhymes song”. Give a title and click on “Create”. The results are surprisingly good! Download the audio.
On to the last step. Go to adobe express. From dashboard go to animate from audio or just search on google, “adobe animate from audio”. Select a character and background. Upload the sound file. Wait till the video is generated. You have your rhymes video ready. This takes like 5-10 minutes only for the whole process.

Hello! Looking for new gaming friends, prefer 25+, but definitely at least 18+! I'm into a variety of different games and always willing to try new ones, I have over 400+ games and Xbox game pass ultimate. I'm looking to find some friends that like to chat in discord, play games and whatever else. I'm not working right now, so have a lot of free time on my hands, I play at all kind of hours just not early morning and usually late into the night/early morning so would be awesome to have some people to hang out with at night! Recently lost a lot of my gamer friend group slowly over time and am looking for more as I really do miss that.
The main games I am playing right now are

So I am into a large variety of games, the main things I don't like are horror games, and builder survival games (haven't found one i overly like). Gaming is a very social thing for me and I really enjoy talking with people, laughing and just having a good time. I don't care at what level you play at, as long as you don't expect me to be really good. I'm not really terrible at any of them, but I'm not overly great either. I just usually like to farm things, kill things, and have fun while chatting about whatever and advancing in whatever game we are playing in at whatever pace!

I was on only Lamictal for 3 years. Due to online bullying I was put on Zoloft too. That made me feel as big as Free Willy and depressed (go figure 🥴). Started Prozac. At first, I was like a new person. Now my eyes are swollen and I’ve gained all the weight back I lost the first few weeks. I don’t sleep. And I have anxiety.

No relocation bonus given in offer letter even tho 150 miles away from home address. HOWEVER, Graebel Relocation Services is saying in the F&Q PDF that it may be given 30 to 45 days away and will be lum sum of 7k.
Have 1 week exactly to decide on accepting or declining offer.
Hey Everyone,
I just got my offer letter from Amazon as an L4 Area Manager (University Hire) and idk I'm not exactly happy with my salary. I'm in FL and the state have a extremely have a High COL and rent. Even when moving away from South FL, I was surprised to read my offer letter has the lowest/minimum in terms of salary of 62.5k. I thought maybe it be like NY or CA where I get higher salary to justify the means of living. I thought I would get 65k as like a happy medium.
I read the terms of the AM offer letter and it says that the salary is not negotiable. In the letter, Amazon says the following:
"Our team believes in providing the best offer up front ! The compensation for this position was crafted and approved by our finance team prior to the start of the season.
This value was determined based on the position’s responsibilities and the cost of living surround your assigned location.
No part of your offer is negotiable."
Normally I would accept it and move on but is it worth reaching out on that or will my offer be revoked? I'm concerned in surviving with rent, groceries, bills, student loans and etc after taxes using a online salary calculator for FL to get an estimate biweekly & monthly. Can I trade a couple thousand in stocks for a boost in salary?
Should I just take the L seeing I have no other job offer and just hope I get promoted to L5 in a year so I can feel more comfortable in salary before trying to pivot to corporate once I finish my contract/obligations for sign on & relocation expense?
Am I stupid for pausing at the salary and not immediately agreeing to the terms that is sent in the middle of the night since beggars can't be choosers?
Do you still keep your stocks when pivoting to another Amazon career field such as corporate or will the amount vested be eliminated? The letter makes that confusing to know since it says if you leave before stocks gets vested, you will lose it.
Finally, can I move my start date since it's Early July. I think it's Prime Week in July so I'm assuming I be blacked out if I try to start in late July or early Aug?

They have supported me and given me everything I need materialistically and do what they are supposed to as parents in that aspect I am very grateful and appreciative of that. in no way shape or form will I ever complain ab them giving me food, shelter, clothes etc. I’m not seeking to be coddled or get sympathy either i just need to know if it really is that bad or am I tripping.
🔬emotionally manipulative & guilt tripping parents will be their own demise. lol. finally dropping that mask you have with them, making them look at themselves and see the torment i had to mentally internalize & take on over the years > sitting back & letting them continue their behavior and control to keep destroying your identity & self continuing to deal with immense shame, guilt, sadness, and anger because you know how they are and you think theres no point in opening up to them or telling them what they do wrong bc they always do the same shit & continue to blame you for everything. note this though when I finally released all my years of internalized emotions on them and started texting them very knowledgeable shit about themselves, how they treated me, my mom trying to control and ruin me and my girlfriends relationship when we first got together (+ we have continued to be together for 1yr and 3 months still going strong she ain’t ruin shiiiit) & shit talked my gf for no reason at all. When I started texting paragraph after paragraph (+ texting them back and forth.) I was met with my mom thinking something isn’t right regarding my mental health and telling my dad and brother she thinks something is wrong with me again (she was surprised how I could speak so knowledgeable bc I barely even interact with them anymore) them texting my phone asking if everything is okay and they are worried ab me (she’s also made many comments before this situation like “you seem like you need to get back on ur medication you’re being irritable” etc when clearly that was the correct response to some fucked up comment she made i’m sick of that shit.) (sorry that was lowkey irrelevant but holy shit). them throwing what they do for me as PARENTS in my face, blame shifting, manipulation, lying, her saying she has no acknowledgment of ever treating me like that over the years, trying to ruin our relationship, or saying any of the vile shit she said about my gf. OH and how she thought It couldn’t possibly be me that’s writing these exceptional level paragraphs and she thought my gf was controlling me and making me send all of that to my parents(me texting her ab this shit went on for like 3 days, 3 days of her not taking accountability for anything, lying, trying to manipulate by making me feel bad as well and she had the nerve to say “it feels like i’m being abused” GIRLLL STOPPP HUH im still confused ab that one) it’s honestly sickening and baffling knowing ppl can think & say shit like that. i’ve been so detached from them since I was little (never knew why at the time) but THIS makes that detachment 100x worse and I feel like that’s a GOOD thing for me even though the outcome wasn’t what I wanted, bc i’m feeling free, released, not pint-up, etc most importantly more like I can finally be MYSELF!!! i’m way more comfortable in who I am and my Identity now at 19 could you imagine that like damn (just hoping it’s not temporary)!!! just putting this out there in hopes that someone else going through the same thing or similar will see and maybe help them a little. now i just gotta move out.
⚛️ she can’t see how what she says to people effects them drastically and takes 0 responsibility and acknowledgement of doing so and passes it off as “you don’t know me” “i’m a good person” “i have a good heart i love everybody” etc or blame everything on me for examples “we do everything for you” “you’re going to treat us like that when we sacrificed so much for you” etc um .. yeah they signed up for that when they decided to have a child so it’s fucked up to throw that in my face. THEN she loves to do this the most playing the victim card “you’re abusing me” “it feels like you are abusing me” “we feel like we can’t say anything right we are always walking on eggshells around you it’s exhausting” she knows damn well I’m not abusing her in any way shape or form that’s disrespectful to many people who actually had to go through and endure actual abuse. “do you want to hurt us? is that your goal” “you’re destroying the family” “you’re destroying our marriage” etc literally used to be all the timmmme when i was going through sh and stuff too. i didn’t do anything wronggggg all I did was speak up for myself FOR ONCE (bc it’s been YEARS) ab the shit she does and how i’m not okay with it i internalize literally everything (that’s y it took years. just sick of their shit idk what to do). low and behold after all that expressing I get met with all that blame shifting and lying. the reason why i never open up to her is bc when I do ever since i was little she always blamed me and made it seem like this whole other thing so hell yeah i’d rather internalize then talk to her that’s a way better option than getting met with guilt tripping and shit what else could I do but internalize n doing that fucked my head up BAD. there are MANY more examples of what else she would say and my dad too but i really think he’s brainwashed by her so idk that’s just off the top of my head .. lmao. she makes me feel so insaneee i even feel like i’m exaggerating and making a big deal n being too sensitive writing all this😵‍💫. there’s SO MUCH more context but fuck all that i typed enough. thx for coming to my ted talk🕷️.
