In Drake's last track where he goes into the A minor B sharp shit, I just noticed the notes that play on the piano are G#/Ab (G sharp/A flat, which is not A, but is within A minor, so sure, let's give it a pass even if no one would immediately relate the two) C (which can be called B sharp in some scenarios so that's ok) but then when he says you thought you left D flat? D major! It plays a Db (D flat), so he sounds even goofier if you catch that and this is all because some of the referenced notes just wouldn't fit in the key of the beat, which in that case I would just choose not to even bring in the piano for that section, it feels too hand holdy to begin with, like "hey this is all musical references guys!"

Hihi, so basically, as the title says, i’m looking for bra recs for an extremely close set chest. As in, even without a bra, i could easily hold a pencil between my breasts, gravity be damned. I already know that plunge bras are my friend, but i find for a lot of them the gore is still either too high or too wide which ends up being really uncomfortable after a few minutes, so i really need as low or as narrow of a gore as possible, and am hoping some of you here might have some specific suggestions. I would also prefer something either with spacer foam or light lining because my nipples always sit right at the seams of unlined bras, and since i have nipple piercings, they end up looking extra lumpy without some level of lining under thin shirts, and that’s not always the vibe.
Size info: It’s been a while since i last measured myself but my calculator size from around this time last year was UK 30E/F or US 30DDD/G. I’m currently wearing 30E and it’s been fine for the most part, but i’ve gained a bit of weight so i might end up trying both 30E and 30F, but the change hasn’t been enough to need to remeasure entirely. I would also be open to trying options in my sister size (US 32DD) for the sale of having more affordable options available (located in canada), as i am a broke grad student who’s balling on a budget rn.
Shape info: Dense tissue, round shape, centre fullness, moderate projection and i think tall roots. I’ve been having a hard time judging if i have wide or narrow roots because none of the pictures quite look like me and i apparently need to be spoon fed this information. I know that i’ve generally had poor luck with balcony styles due to wires sitting uncomfortably (both the gore and the sides) but i do have breast tissue on my sides if that means anything. Cannot stress enough how close set i am though, my breasts are naturally almost touching so gore tacking in styles that prevent cleavage are borderline painful even in the right size. I also have very little “squish” so i genuinely can’t do a high gore unless i went up several band sizes. So cleavage is inevitable if i want to be comfortable.
Currently fitting bras: Atm, my best fitting bras are the natori feathers plunge and freya offbeat moulded demi plunge, both 30E. I also have a freya fancies plunge which i thought fit well but i’ve been noticing lately that the gore does irritate me after a few hours, and that it still tacks down to my sternum but also sits a bit on my breast tissue. Not sure if it’s due to needing to go up a cup or if it’s not the right style
The wacoal b’tempted and freya hallie both look promising for gore size but i haven’t tried either on. When i look up plunge/demi bras though, most of them look like they’d still have either too high or too wide of a gore, so i’d appreciate any suggestions of where else to look!

I got diagnosed in January of '22 and I am learning more about myself and the way my brain works every day. I've always struggled with school, specifically test taking. I transferred out of a university after having spent 3 and a half years there, to a school close to home. I come from a high-achieving and successful immigrant household where I constantly feel like I am letting down my family and everyone else around me. My first semester at my new uni was incredibly rough because I just transferred there, moved back home to my parents, and started working two new jobs on top of a full-time course load. Not surprisingly, I only passed two of my five classes so my GPA was immediately tanked and I was warned of academic probation. In my second semester (fall 2023), I took minimal classes and quit my job to focus on school. Despite all my efforts, I only managed to pass my classes with Cs and one D. My GPA increased but not by much. I was placed on academic probation. I just finished my third semester last week, where I got one A-, two Bs, and one F. The class I failed was very difficult and I tried very hard to pass my exams but I ended up scoring very low on all of them. My GPA was not great by it still increased from the previous semesters. Today, I received an email from my university letting me know that despite my grades improving because my GPA did not exceed 2.0, I am being marked for dismissal. I have the option of appealing for an extended semester of probation, which entails me having to fill out forms and meet with multiple boards to plead my case. I will be applying for the appeal but I am scared that they will reject my case. I will have to take a one-year break and reapply to study at the institution. I was supposed to graduate in May of 23 originally and I was hoping to graduate in December this year when I finish the remaining classes for my degree. But now, it looks like the goalpost is moving again. I'm catastrophizing since I can't be sure that I'll get rejected for the appeal, but I don't have much hope or faith in myself anymore. I am struggling to find motivation to keep going, to keep trying. I'm struggling to make sense of my life and I feel like I've failed. This is all being made worse by the fact that my aging grandparents are issuing ultimatums that they will not visit my parents here in the States until I graduate, my parents are constantly bringing up the fact that I'm at an age where our culture and society expect me to be married soon, and I'm secretly seeing someone from outside our community who is highly accomplished and I'm convinced that he's not gonna want anything to do with a failure like me.

Even if data was mostly in line with expectations. Core CPI slowed to its slowest pace since April 2021 at 3.6% y/y, or 0.3% m/m – both as expected. Retail sales slowed to 0.3% m/m, compared to 0.4% prior and expected. Core retail sales was downgraded to 0.9% m/m from 1.1% although reached the 0.2% estimate. Whilst this is a step in the right direction, it should be remembered that prices are still rising and consumers are still spending. Fed member Goolsbee added to the excitement of cuts by saying that “if decreases in housing inflation seen in April CPI data continues, that’s great”. Yet annual inflation levels remain well above the Fed’s 2% target, and we may have some more bumps in the road before they hit it. Still, for now traders got what they wanted, and that weighed on US yields and the dollar overnight. i didn’t think id ever see myself posting vents to strangers but atp idk anymore
for context i am a rising hs sophomore (f).
it basically starts with this one girl. let’s call her K. K and I used to be super good friends (like BEST BEST friends we’d go on road trips all the time and we practically lived at each others house) since the beginning of 4th grade to the beginning of 8th grade. 8th grade was when I realized how toxic she was and I basically saw how naive i was and stopped talking to her altogether.
well, ever since then she’d spread rumors about me to her friends, talk shit ab me, fat shame me (and continues to deny she did), yada yada yada
the biggest thing is she deliberately takes my friends. like there’s ppl she’s never interacted with before, sees me hanging out with them, and instantly become their bff the next week or so. im getting sick of it but i never said anything because i DONT want to associate with K no matter what because i know this is exactly what she wants.
let me make some things clear first. K is super pretty, for the record. she’s gorgeous and i will never say otherwise. the only thing is, she’s incredibly manipulative and toxic. she talks bad about her own friends sometimes and whenever someone tells said friend she always denies and switches up. she talks to people (and drops them) as per her convenience. literally half of the upper grade hates her because she’s just not a good person. she talks bad about literally ANYONE and when she’s confronted she denies and laughs about it later. she makes stuff up about people and victimizes herself and basically switches the entire situation. it’s bad haha.
but anyways, she’s always trying to take my friends away from me, and the saddest thing is, it’s working.
most of my “friends” know about my thing with her. i don’t ask much of people, and i don’t hate anyone at all EXCEPT FOR HER. the one thing i ask of people is to not be around her while they’re with me. i’ve been asked the same thing except with different people and i’ve done so happily because i care for the people i interact with. the thing is, none of my friends seem to care and actively try to get us to interact, talk about her when im around, try to DEFEND her while i’m VENTING to them, say nothing when they hang out with her and don’t defend me whatsoever, and just flat out ignore me whenever she’s around when THEYRE the one who literally called me over. i know im a massive pushover, but i have limits too and honestly they’ve been crossed a while ago.
i can’t drop any of them either, since i see them all the time. i cry every night thinking about how bad this all has gotten because i genuinely don’t know who i can trust anymore. my parents are my biggest pillars, but they can’t be around everywhere yk… when im at school, school trips, out with friends, extracurriculars, shopping…… all of these things.
all i want is for someone to have me as a priority. i’ve had so many people like that but i don’t think it’s ever been reciprocated. i’ve always had someone as a “best friend” but i don’t think i’ve ever been someone else’s “best friend.” and every time i try, K always swoops in and fills that spot up instead.
it makes me so upset every time i think about it especially because it feels like there’s nothing i can really do
i always try to be nice to everyone i meet, people have always considered me a “ray of sunshine,” “the kindest person ever,” “so sweet,” “so kind,” but they only say that for show. “i love you so much girl i can always depend on you” but i can’t depend on anyone. i have so many “friends” but nobody who would stay awake texting with me for hours on end. nobody who would invite me over to their house on a whim. nobody who would text me on a random tuesday afternoon and say “wanna go out or smth”. nobody to say “you’re my best friend (my name)”.

Scandium can impart high strength properties to Al alloys which allows for reduced weight designs (compared to traditional Al alloy) and components for a wide range of defense platforms and other military items. Al-Sc alloys exhibit increased resistance to high temperature and corrosion when compared to common Al alloys. Of further interest, is the high weldability of Al-Sc alloy. Alloys with high weldability can reduce manufacturing labor and other costs associated with joining components and structures. Al-Sc alloy can be especially useful when used as a powder or wire in additive manufacturing. Potential DoD applications for Al-Sc alloy include the production and sustainment of missiles, aircraft, space launch vehicles, satellites, solider systems, military ground vehicles, marine applications, and other weapon systems (e.g., small arms and artillery). While Sc metal has many attractive material characteristics, its cost is frequently considered prohibitive for Al alloying purposes compared to other alloying elements. In addition, the supply of Sc metal and compounds is limited and highly concentrated in a small number of foreign countries including China and Russia. As such, there is reluctance to develop wide scale uses for Al-Sc alloys for many applications including DoD weapon systems and large-scale non-defense applications (e.g., commercial aviation and automotive manufacturing). In the United States mining operations for Sc ore are being planned and developed to feed a domestic supply chain and, recently, new sources of Sc now exist in Canada (an important member country of DoD’s National Technology Industrial Base). There are also established defense industrial base companies and other businesses in both countries that can significantly contribute to development and commercialization of Al-Sc supply chains for both military and commercial applications.Given the important properties of Sc, and in anticipation of increased affordable domestic supply, DLA is interested in engaging small businesses with the capability to develop and expand expertise and industrial base production capacity of Sc-containing materials, especially in areas relevant to the supply of Al-Sc alloy components for DoD end-uses.Specific materials, processing and manufacturing areas of interest include:
Research and Development (R&D) efforts selected under this topic shall demonstrate and involve a degree of risk where the technical feasibility of the proposed work has not been fully established. I’ve never been more confused about who I want to draft. It’s changing on a daily basis almost, and sometimes more than once per day. There’s no clear tiers beyond Sarr, and there’s no perfect prospect.
Considering there are so many possibilities with this pick, including trading it, I wanted to organize my thoughts, then I figured I’d share it with you all.
These are the top 10 most considered prospects as far as I can tell from the chatter on Reddit and Twitter. These are in NO PARTICULAR ORDER.
Reed Sheppard (Combo Guard)
- Why he’s a Rocket He's the "Advanced Stats Darling" of the draft class, and addresses what is currently Houston's biggest need (shooting). Nice hands on defense. Showed out at the combine with "sneaky athleticism". Smart player and good passer.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket He's undersized, at 6'2" with a 6'3" wingspan, weighing-in at 182 lbs. Despite being a bit of a menace in passing lanes, he gets blown by on-ball & will be targeted by opposing offenses. He only took 4.4 3PA per game in college, which is quite low for a 58% shooter. Will he be able to get his shot off in the league?
Stephon Castle (Guard/Wing Hybrid)
- Why he’s a Rocket Castle is a winning player with outstanding size & length for his position, boasting a 6'9" wingspan. He's the best POA defender in the class. Ime loves switchable players.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket Wasn't much of a shooter in college, despite having excelled in the 3pt shooting drills at the combine. Unless we're confident he can develop a respectable shot, how do you add another non-shooter to this team?

- Why he’s a Rocket For one, his name is Nikola… Other than that, he's a 6'6" legitimate PG who has contributed to winning in Serbia at only 18 years old. He's a great finisher at the rim with elite body control and a talented playmaker who excels in the P&R.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket He's not a shooter, and it's not certain what he could offer in an off-ball role. Houston would have to be committed to his role as a lead ball handler enough to relegate Amen to the wing, and it seems too early to give up on him developing a viable handle. Topic also has a knee injury history and is currently injured, so he may be difficult to evaluate.

- Why he’s a Rocket Size, length, mobility, rim protection, shooting upside - what more could you want from a prospect? He could play behind or beside Sengun. Great fit and probably the best prospect in the draft period.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket He probably won't be available at 3, and it may not be worth trading assets to move up for yet another raw young player, despite the fit & ceiling.
Donovan Clingan (Center)
- Why he’s a Rocket A two-time NCAA champion, Clingan is a beast of a human standing 7'2" and 282 lbs with a 7'7" wingspan and a standing reach of 9'7". Maybe the best interior defender to come out of college in years, he could be the perfect yin to Sengun's yang, coming off the bench to take away the paint from opposing offenses.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket Using a #3 pick to draft a backup to the team's best player could be considered a misuse of the asset. Houston is already fairly deep at center, with Steven Adams, Jock Landale, and both Jabari and Jeff for small-ball lineups. Clingan is also an "old school" center, and the league is moving to more athletic and mobile centers.

- Why he’s NOT a Rocket While he may have more tools than Clingan to be used in more ways, he's not nearly as dominant at defending the paint. There are questions about his motor & some compare him to Christian Wood. Taking Ware would also require finding the right trade partner - will the asset gained from trading down be worth it?
Zaccharie Risacher (Wing)
- Why he’s a Rocket Risacher is a lengthy 3&D wing who can finish and shoot (40% from 3). You can never have too many of those kind of guys in the modern NBA (so they say). Having another floor spacer could be helpful, especially one with a pro comp like MPJ. He plays in a Euro league, so he's faced tougher competition than any of the guys in college have.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket With Dillon, Jabari, Tari, Amen, and Cam already on the roster, how do you find minutes to give this guy? His FT% is barely 70%, so is the shot real? Euro leagues don’t play many games, so there's a small sample size. He also may not be available, as many mocks have him going 1st or 2nd overall.
Matas Buzelis (Wing)
- Why he’s a Rocket With good handles & nice footwork for his size, he can create his own shot. Matas has one of the highest upsides of the class and pro comps like Franz Wagner are enticing. He's also a good shot blocker as a help defender, which could pair well with Sengun. If he bulks up he could probably play 2-4.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket Matas is coming from the G-League Ignite, which doesn't exist anymore mostly because it was deemed a terribly broken development program. He shot very poorly throughout the season and plays with an aversion to contact.
Dalton Knecht (Wing)
- Why he’s a Rocket Quite possibly the best movement shooter in the class, Knecht can also score from all three levels. He's an NBA-ready 6'5" with 6'9" wingspan who shot 40% from 3 in college as the focal point of an SEC offense. With other scorers around him, his 3P% could get even better in the league. A late bloomer, Knecht's journey started in JUCO before going to a mid-major and then dominating the SEC his senior year.
- Why he’s NOT a Rocket He's 23 years old. His defense is sus, which seems to be mostly a matter of effort considering he aced the lateral movement drill at the combine. I’m hoping to take an online college to get my bachelors degree in interior design. I graduated this month with 2 college ready scores and 2 college credit scores on my GED (I’ve been homeschooled since 3rd grade!)
So far I’ve looked at online colleges from here (https://www.accredit-id.org/accredited-programs/#states) After doing a bit of research, I’ve eliminated the Academy of Art, Rocky Mountain and Yorkville University. (i don’t think my financial aid will cover schooling from Canada) I’ve also been looking into Ohio University but their online program isn’t CIDA accredited yet and that’s a bit worrying.

Now before I start my story, I guess I’ll describe how I look. Maybe this is relevant to my story, Idk, but I’m pretty short, like 5'4", with kinda slim, medium-length hair, and I look very young. People always say I look 14–16 years old, though I'm 21 years old. But anyway, not too long ago, I started working as a janitor at a refinery, and I think this older gentleman in his late 40’s might be a creep. When I first met him, something about him felt off, it seemed like his aura wasn’t good, like I got that gut feeling that he’s not a good person. Now I’m not a spiritual person in any way; I already had my traumatic religious experience, but it definitely felt uncomfortable. Well, months go by, and I’m cleaning one of the lunchrooms by myself, and he walks in and strikes up a conversation. Now I don’t remember what the conversation was about, but I remember he said something, and I smiled. When he saw me smile, his smile immediately disappeared, and he got all awkward and nervous, which I thought was very weird. But since then, I feel uncomfortable when I’m around him, so I try my best to avoid him as much as possible. So if I see him and he says hi, I just greet him back and try my best to go somewhere else to clean. Well, months go by without anything happening, just the usual greetings here and there, until my supervisor switches our groups around, and on my new route, I have to clean his office at the end of the day. So one day I go to the room where his office is to clean it, and at the time I didn’t know his office was in that room because the time I go there to clean everyone has already clocked out. Unfortunately he was there in his office, well after I greeted him, I start taking out the trash from the cans, he comes to the fridge next to me and opens it, looks for one second, immediately closes it, and says something along the lines of “Yeah, I had to stay a little bit overtime, so I’m just here putting in the time into the computer,” which I immediately notice is his excuse to talk to me by “checking” the fridge, which I thought was very weird. He then starts asking me how the weather was when I came in, this and that, all while with a blank, nervous face. So I answer him as fast as I can so I can finish my task and leave. I tell one of my coworkers (A), and he tells me that’s how he is with everyone—a very nervous and awkward person, which I guess, but Idk, I just don’t buy his weird demeanor. Until there was this one time, which was kind of recent, where he was in front of one of the entrances to the building where my break room is. A little explanation: I go through that entrance because it’s more convenient for me than going all the way around the building to the other entrance that’s directly connected to my break room, but unfortunately, his office is right next to the entrance I go through, hence why he was there, but he knows that I always go through that entrance. But I didn’t want to deal with him that day because I had to come in early and I was very tired and sleepy, so I just went ahead and went the long way around to the other entrance after greeting him back. Well, me and my coworkers (B&C) go to work and come back to the break room around the usual time we clock in, and that guy ends up showing up. Now he doesn’t work with us; he’s just the timekeeper for our company. So he comes in through the door to my right and starts talking to my coworkers (B&C) that I came in with, then he makes his way between me and my other coworker (D) and is on my left. The whole time he’s there, I ignore him because I didn’t want to deal with him, and I was texting my coworker (A). Then he makes his way to leave by walking between me and coworker D. Now he has plenty of room to go through; he can move sideways to pass through, but as he passes through, he rubs the back side of his left hand all over my left shoulder for a good couple of seconds as he’s passing by. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, because he obviously did that on purpose, like he was getting back at me for avoiding him. Unfortunately I know there’s no bases for me to possibly tell HR about this incident, He will just make up a bunch of excuses and they’ll believe him because he was just “passing by” and “accidentally” brushed his hand on my shoulder. As sicken as this is, I’d probably have to wait until something more serious happens to actually tell HR. Though I will say I tell coworker (A) about how I feel so he has my back, if the unfortunate were to occur. Now I did tell this to my mom and sister which they comforted me but it seems like I’m at a roadblock that can potentially get worse. Any advice?

c) abandonner la santé pour aller en DCG (compta). oui c'est un domaine qui m'est inconnu, mais je me dis que j'ai réussi à aimer les sciences car je les ais travaillé ? pourquoi pas la compta ? pis si je suis destiné à faire un métier qui ne me plaît pas, autant que celui ci soit plus concret, avec une plus grande embauche, et avec une évolutions en terme de salaire plus "assuré" ? finalement je me dis que si j'ai le courage de penser a médecine, c'est pas étudier quelque chose de full nouveau qui devrait m'effrayer (au sinon c'est médecine que je devrais abandonner)?
d) les épreuves du DCG peuvent se passer en candidat libre, je pourrais aussi tenter de rester à la fac au cas où j'accroche pas du tout au monde de la compta, et bosser à fond pour avoir le dcg en même temps ? comme j'aurais plus mon option santé ("médecine") ça va diviser par deux mon travail lié a la licence rajouter les cours du DCG va juste au final me donner la même quantité de travail que j'avais de base cette année.

How do I handle an annual evaluation that is merely "meets expectations" with no supporting data when there is also an "exceedingly exceptional" promotion offer at the same time?
Instructions on the eval form state they are to provide reason for the rating. The remainder of the form is blank other than the rating added by Boss. There is a lot that is supposed to go into the evaluation - reasoning, professional development, etc...
Boss won't back down on adjusting the evaluation, even though I have data supporting my claim of exceeds expectations. They're claiming it's only based three months of observations since they started (they actually started 6 mos ago) and they won't increase the score no matter what. Some of my data covers the relevant months. They also said almost no one gets exceeds expectations (how can they be so sure of that if this is their first annual review process with us?).
On the other hand they offered me a promotion (title change but at same payscale I'm currently at with raise to top of scale and 2x the work of anyone else with the same title). I asked for info on potential salary growth in the future and they were annoyed. I feel like the evaluation is retaliatory b/c I didn't immediately accept the offer.
I"m very confused. How can they give me a mediocre review one one hand and offer an exceptional promotion on the other? I don't know whether I should bring this to HR's attention or if that would make things worse with this person.

The defamatory statements made by Mr. Dong were serious and relentlessly repeated. He posted videos, sometimes multiple times a day, in which he accused Mr. Pham and Fastboy of various forms of criminal wrongdoing. In particular, the oft-repeated allegations of fraud and money laundering were serious and baseless. Mr. Dong did not restrict his statements to Mr. Pham and Fastboy. He made disparaging remarks about Mr. Pham’s wife and Mr. Pham’s lawyer. Mr. Dong’s incendiary posts were calculated and sustained, and spread over multiple YouTube channels.Now, what did Mr Dong say?

His only evidence to support the truth of the many defamatory things he has said about the plaintiffs is a photograph of Mr. Pham posing at a military cemetery in Vietnam, which he says supports the truth of his statement that Mr. Pham is a communist. Even if such a defence had been properly pled, this evidence does not support the truth of any of the defamatory statements made by Mr. Dong, including the statement that Mr. Pham is a communist. Fair comment has also not been pled, although in his closing submissions Mr. Dong submitted that his YouTube videos were in the nature of commentary and analysis, not statements of facts. If the defence of fair comment had been pled, the burden would be on Mr. Dong to prove that: (a) the comment was on a matter of public interest; (b) the comment was based on fact; (c) the comment, though it could include inferences of fact, was recognisable as comment; [and] (d) the comment satisfied the following objective test: could any person honestly express that opinion on the proved facts?
...While it is possible that there is some public interest in the activities of Fastboy, Mr. Dong’s statements are not based in fact, are not recognizable as comments, and do not satisfy the objective test: Mr. Dong’s opinion [...] is not an opinion that is honestly justified on the proven facts. Therefore [...] he would not, on the evidence, have succeeded in bringing himself within the framework of this defence.
