So for the last 2 years I’ve been having some weird throat issues. I started feeling like I had a frog in my throat and slowly progressed over the last 2 years. It doesn’t affect my speaking voice, only when I sing or hum do I notice the issues. Obviously after Covid it got worse and I didn’t have Covid that bad. Very mild but had a bad cold. But now when I hum it sounds raspy, when I sing I can’t hit certain notes and when I try to it feels like the back of my tongue is tied and I feel some discomfort behind the lymph nodes in my neck. I do have Epstein Barr also and don’t know if this could effect as I had one case of mono last year after the flu. I’ve tried to get an appointment with an ENT but my doctor didn’t want me to refer me for some reason. Maybe due to state insurance. I have recently switched my PCP and have a different insurance and and waiting to be called from the ENT for an appt. Any opinions on what this sounds like? CBC and autodifferential have all come back normal. I have a hiatal hernia and was on Pepcid for a while because of acid reflux. I noticed today when I had espresso it felt like just the portion of my throat(behind my lymph nodes and where my tongue connects to my throat) felt like something was there and kind of tight about an hour and a half after drinking the coffee. I was looking through the photo albums at my house the other day. And I found one of me being taken out of the bath by one of my parents. There is a very strange detail though. There's a weird part of my parts down there (it's the same colour) with something sticking up. The photo is old and not in good quality but what I saw was quite strange. It doesn't look like the other picture I've mentioned that has scars there.
I don't know what it is. Another picture most likely taken after this showed a V shaped scar. And now I found this photo. Please help.
My mum has said nothing looked different but it's been 22 years since I was born and she wouldn't remember. I have other pictures of me as a baby and I don't have it. My mum said it was a hernia but it doesn't look like that.

Back in Nov of 2023 I began to experience a sharp pain in my lower right whenever I lifted, went to the doctor suspecting a hernia and they referred me to a surgeon who diagnosed me with a "sports hernia" because I had no buldge. He told me to take 6-8 weeks off, I did just that, came back into the gym with the same problem. I came back to the surgeon and he told me that I did not take enough time off, I asked for a 2nd opinion and requested a CT scan. The 2nd surgeon looked at the CT scan and said they didn't find a hernia and the 2nd surgeon also diagnosed me with a sports hernia and also told me to take more time off.
I knew something was wrong and my issue wasn't with needing to take enough time off to recover. After a week of researching occult or hidden hernias and ripping my hair out trying to find answers, I found a hernia specialist. I made an appointment with her and she located my hidden hernia and pointed out exactly where it was.
Her name is Dr.Shirin Towfigh in Los Angeles. I am mainly making this post to all the people who suspect they have a hidden/occult hernia and can't find a doctor to properly diagnose them. I had 2 surgeons who completely dismissed my concerns because they thought they knew better because I had no buldge, despite not getting better per their recommendation. I had a laparoscopic procedure done, and during the operation a 2nd hernia was discovered(they took photos to show me too which was pretty cool).
The post surgery pain sucks but the peace of mind is very nice that this hernia problem is handled. I read too many stories in here of people visiting many different doctors over months and years trying to get the right diagnosis. Hope this post helps anyone in the future who might be in a similar predicament.

Our cat, Pretzel, 17 Months, recently had to have an emergency C-Section due to some complications with the birth. We also had her spayed at the same time due to how badly the birth went as we didn't want there to be any chance of repeating the experience. Unfortunately none of the three kittens made it through the experience and she now has a Hernia.
We are currently looking for some advise as we're not convinced she has been receiving the best care throughout the experience and wanted a second opinion from a qualified outside perspective.
I've written up a timeline of the events below:
Wednesday 24th April
16:30 - Estimated time labor began
17:30 - Arrived home from work to find Pretzel in labor
20:00 - No progression with the labor, rang the OOH vet line and were told that the Veterinarian 1 (we'll call them Veterinarian 1 as we have seen quite a few different Veterinarians) this is normal and cat labors can take quite a while. See how she gets on and ring back in the morning if there is no progression.
Thursday 25th April
07:30 - Woke up to find the tail of one of the kittens sticking out of Pretzel.
08:10 - Rang the vets for advise as there was no progress with birthing the kitten, the tail just going back and forth. Vets advised to take her into the practice.
08:30 - Arrived at the Vets with Pretzel.
08:45 - Pretzel called in by the Veterinarian (Veterinarian 2) with her commenting "You've just caught me a I was just leaving for the RSPCA".
The vet tried to help maneuver the kitten out of Pretzel will no luck, at one point having the vets finger inside of Pretzel. Vet advised that they might need to do an emergency C-Section but they will give it one more go. The vet pulled the kitten out of pretzel, causing her pain to the point that she bit down on my partners nose and pulled her head back in pain. The kitten was unfortunately not breathing.
After this the vet gave my partner two options: either take Pretzel home and see how things progress naturally now that the stuck kitten had been removed or leave her at the Vets for them to monitor. My partner said that she would prefer to have Pretzel stay at the vet so they can monitor and provided any further assistance needed but the vet persuaded my partner to take Pretzel home instead advising that she may get on better at home in a comfortable environment.
No paid relief was given throughout the process.
09:40 - My partner arrived home with Pretzel. Pretzel went back to her 'nest' which was a crib we had set up by the side of our bed to act as a kitten box. My partner stayed with Pretzel throughout as pretzel seems to appreciate her being there for comfort.
11:40 - No further progressions with the labor. My partner called the Vet back to ask for some further advise. Vet advised to leave Pretzel on her own for an hour and call back if there is still no progression after that.
12:40 - My partner checked on Pretzel and called the Vets back as there was still no progression.
13:00 - My partner arrived back at the Vet with Pretzel and was Immediately seen by another Veterinarian (Veterinarian 3) who was extremely concerned and commented something along with lines of "She's been in labor for how long?!" before rushing her off for an emergency C-Section. At this point Pretzel was exhausted and had a rapid heart rate. This is when we also opted to have her Spayed at the same time to prevent this from happening again in future.
Two more kittens were born from the C-Section which unfortunately didn't make it. The vets did say they tried CPR on the kittens for 15 minutes to no avail.
18:15 - Picked Pretzel up from the vets after the procedure and were given Loxicom (Meloxicam) to be given to Pretzel once a day with her Dinner starting the following day.
The woman that was there at time was another new face. I'm not sure if she was a Veterinarian or not but we have not seen her again since.
She then advised that we need to book a check-up for Saturday.
Friday 26th April
My partner took the day off work to stay with Pretzel
Pretzel took her medication in the evening without issue
Pretzel would occasionally wake up 'screaming' for lack of a better word but would quickly settle back down after no more than 15 seconds so we put this up to her having nightmares about being at the vet as she didn't appear to be in any pain.
Pretzel was given 4ml of 0.5 mg/ml Loxicom (Meloxicam) with her dinner as instructed by the Vets.
Saturday 27th April
11:00 - Took Pretzel in for her check-up and she was looked at by Veterinarian 2. She removed the covering and the dressing on the stitched. At this point I mentioned that she hasn't had a poo since before going into labor. Veterinarian 2 then had a feel around Pretzels abdomen and said she cant feel anything but her not passing a stool is concerning and said we should just continue to monitor it.
I pressed her a bit which lead to her giving me some laxatives' to take home and give to Pretzel 3 times a day starting the following day (Sunday) until she passes a stool. Fortunately that was not necessary as she passed a stool shortly after arriving home from the vets.
Before leaving Veterinarian 2 said that she doesn't think they will need to see Pretzel again other than when she needs to have her stitches out. Instead we should email a picture of Pretzels stitches to them on Wednesday for them to review.
Rest of the day - Nothing of note other than still occasionally waking up 'screaming' as detailed prior. Pretzel was given 4ml of 0.5 mg/ml Loxicom (Meloxicam) with her dinner as instructed by the Vets.
Sunday 28th April

Wednesday 1st May (Today)
08:30 - Emailed the vets the pictures of Pretzels stitches.
10:51 - Answered a call from the Vet advising that they believe Pretzel may have a hernia and they would like her in to check on it.
16:45 - Took Pretzel into the vets to have her checked over. A surgical nurse felt around her stomach and advised that he could "Feel a hole" and "Get his whole finger in-between the muscles". He then took Pretzel to have one of his colleagues feel and get a second opinion.
He then returned roughly 10-15 minutes later saying that three of them have had a feel and can all feel the hole and she will need to be brought back in tomorrow morning (Thursday 2nd May) between 08:00 and 08:30 for a corrective surgery then they will need to keep her until the end of the day for monitoring after which we can pick her up.
Pretzel was given 4ml of 0.5 mg/ml Loxicom (Meloxicam) with her dinner as instructed by the Vets.
END OF TIMELINE
After the whole ordeal my partner and I are not sure about taking her back to that same Vets.
I guess my question is does anything stand out as blatantly wrong with how this has been handled by the Vets or is this just a shitty situation all round where standard practices were followed but we were unlucky with how things turned out.
If helpful I am happy to share the photos of her stitches taken today (Wednesday 1st May).
To my untrained eye the stitches look a complete mess. This is part of the doubt in my mind as they're the only real sign of 'Workmanship" I have to go off and it doesn't look good to me.
Though, admittedly, I don't really understand what I'm looking at to know if they are good or bad.
TLDR:
Our cat, Pretzel, who's 17 months old, went through a traumatic birthing experience resulting in an emergency C-section and spaying. Sadly, none of the kittens survived, and Pretzel now has a hernia. We're unsure if she received the best care and are seeking a second opinion. The timeline details the events, including delayed intervention by vets and concerns about Pretzel's well-being post-surgery. Despite doubts about the vet's competence, we're scheduled for hernia correction surgery but are hesitant.

Almost 2 years ago, may 17th, 2022, I was hit head on by an Escalade at 100kmh, and then hit again on my drivers side buy a fiat. I woke up 2 weeks later in SunnyBrook. I don’t remember a thing, barely anything the day prior. You wake up, you see your family sitting on chairs, you wiggle your toes.. thinking you’re not paralyzed, you’re not in a ton of pain (probably because all the drugs they had me on), just feeling heavy and confused. My sister comes to the side of the bed and she says I’ve been in a horrible accident. The man who hit me died. He crossed over the Center line and hit me head on. I had half my face reconstructed, bones, muscles, nerves. I had one of the best in the country do it. I was lucky. My face on my left side looked like I had a stroke, eye droopy, mouth, everything not to mention the numbness from the sensory nerve reset feeling like you’ve just gotten out of the dentist. Still today it’s about 50% recovered. The motor nerves were cut everywhere so I’m still learning to smile and use the left side of my face properly. My nerves recovered and are recovering well both motor and sensory and my face looks normal just a massive scar as my face was completely ripped open. The left side. This isn’t including the broken back in multiple spots, severe abdominal damage, hernia, internal organ damage, cracked sternum and ribs, wrist and The list goes on. I have a full team helping me from physio to face physio to therapy of all kinds. There’s much more to this story. Almost to much to type. It’s crazy… youur whole life you’re aware of all of the injuries that can happen to you from breaking your arm to even loosing it, maybe even not being able to walk again.… but no one could have prepared me for loosing my smile. It’s tough. It’s a sad, strange and tough injury to understand and overcome. Becoming obsessive of how and why and how can it get better and recover. Coming up on two years and still healing. More to go and I’m hustling to get my body and mind back. I put all my effort into rebuilding my body and mind in the gym which I got back to 2 months ago and building my business which keeps growing. And focusing on appreciating that our bodies are amazing, and that we can not just overcome these horrible things that happen to us, we can come out of it stronger, a new, more enhanced appreciation for life. With this mentality my family gets the superman they deserve.

I guess I hadn't really seen how much I'd lost until last night.
My college roommate's 50th birthday was yesterday and I went on my computer looking for photos of us to post on FB. I'll be 50 in August.
She's the one I went to Las Vegas with in July 2022 for a Jigsaw Puzzle Convention.
I've been overweight since 2005 when a drug-dealing neurologist overmedicated me when I was first diagnosed with Chiari Malformation instead of doing her job and helping me get help from a neurosurgeon. All those drugs triggered a serious case of MCAS {Mast Cell Activation Syndrome} and now my body doesn't tolerate any pharmaceuticals.
It took me 5 neurosurgeons to get help... but at least #5 saved my life because when I left the appointment with him after he agreed to do my surgery, I went home and called and canceled my consultation with #6... Christopher Duntsch... aka Dr Death. If you don't know how that is, Google it.
Even though I've been off all those drugs since early 2006 and haven't taken any pharmaceuticals at all since 2009 when I had brain surgery, nothing I did would get rid of the weight.
I'm a trained chef and I don't eat fast food or junk or premade or anything processed. I have food intolerances and allergies out the wazoo... and this process was really hard during the pre-op and liquid phases because I couldn't find protein shakes or anything that didn't make me sick.
I stayed the same weight until COVID got me and then I ballooned up another 40lbs. That weight never felt like weight, though; it felt like INFLAMMATION and swelling if that makes any sense. And that 40lbs dropped off by the end of the first-month post-op

Thanks to having POTS {Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome... a common comorbid condition with EDS and Chiari and MCAS}.. and not enough SALT in my post-op diet ... which was mostly just sleep and Pedialyte for 3 days... I got in the shower, and only got one arm washed before I screamed "oh shit, MAMA"... to my elderly parents who were staying with me for a few days post-op.. and when she got in there I had passed out, was on the bottom of my shower, my head had hit the shower bench, I had sprained both ankles and tore the MCL in my right knee {my legs are longer than my shower is wide, they got crumpled up against the door and under the shower bench when I fell}
So I was completely unable to do any walking at all.. which is the only exercise I can do while keeping in mind my other medical issues.

44F, 280lbs, ovarian cancer On BP meds, Prozac, Wellbutrin.
I had an open full hysterectomy and debulking surgery on 3/20 and recovery has been going mostly ok though I seem to have maybe developed a hernia around an internal I ncision, near my belly button. (And my waistline)
I start chemo in about a week so I’m sure surgery is off the table for a while. Is there anything I can do to reduce the discomfort? Anything I should watch for or do to take care of it?

I have a lump which grew bigger over time of a month, the lump felt harder to touch specially on the days i worked out my legs. It burns when rubbed through any contact , I feel it sometimes walking , dosnt itch at all, it didnt have a colour at first but it feels more inflammed and red now. I went to the doc today, they told me it could be an ingrown but have asked for an ultrasound just to be sure (which is 2 weeks away- the ultrasound) Anyway , this started a month ago when i started working out alot more than regular. I am afraid of any hernia , and posted it here because my ultrasound is far away and I am losing my mind of the possibility of what this could be.

I see a small bulge between my upper rib cage. I can't find photos online of this. I can push it back it in. I don't have acid reflux, but I do feel like food gets stuck in my throat sometimes. I have bad bloating after every meal. I have been thinking I have SIBO, but I don't have health insurance so I can't get any diagnostics done. Could this be a hiatal hernia?

I have a fully retractable umbilical hernia. When it’s fully out it like the size of my thumbnail.
I train at the gym, l moderate intensity pretty often. I do jujitsu 3-4 times a week.
At the moment I feel like I have no lower abs, I’m trying to sit up, twist, raise my legs etc. and my lower abs are already at failure. It’s been 2 weeks.
I’ve had the hernia for maybe 8-12 months and it’s slowly getting bigger, but I can still push it inside. How likely is it that my hernia has caused my lower abs to and have no strength to them anymore? (maybe split open?) Or do hernias not work like this and it’s likely something else?

Real quick I just want to make it clear that I am not blood related to this sister however we were both adopted by the same parents and there is a big age gap between us. I am 19(F) and she is 43(F)
PLEASE READ THIS PART IF YOU WANT TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE STORY:
When I was born, my real mother was a heavy fentanyl addict and my real father was also into drugs however I don't know what kind. I was taken away from them at around 6 months old and was placed in foster care until I was 2. I then was adopted by my great aunt and great uncle who were in their late 40s to early 50s. They loved me the best they could but by the time I was 4, my mother got sick with corticobasal ganglionic degeneration. I don't want to get too much into that sickness but long story short, it kills your brain cells and paralyzes you.
Anyway, my dad started to drink and get very aggressive with me and my mom. He would slam her into the walls, the chairs, the floor, anything.
Just because she couldn't stand by herself and her only way to communicate was through screaming and drooling (she drooled A LOT) fits. This understandably made him stressed out. He had a sick wife who couldn't care for herself and needed around-the-clock care and a young daughter who couldn't do anything and had a full-time job as the owner of a big company. This DOES NOT make what he did acceptable of course.
I didn't get much attention from them after she got sick so I was always alone at home unless I was at school. I remember between the ages of 5-9, my mom tried to spend time with me but I didn't want to spend time with her because I was scared of her screaming fits that she had about 8+ a day (no I'm not exaggerating I promise). I hate myself for that so much. She was so kind to me and all I did was push her away. I will never forgive myself for that.
2014-2018: (I was 13)
We finally got one of those caregivers for old people with health problems. She was horrible. I won't go into detail about it but I will speak about a few things. She stole my mom's car for about 2 years after she had already died (we got it back don't worry), her money, my dad's money, my great grandmother's ring, invited herself on our family vacations, and just did not care for my mom whatsoever. My dad was VERY bad at putting his foot down with anyone to the point he couldn't fire her because he didn't want to deal with it. My mom tried to tell my dad how horrible she was to her but he wouldn't believe her. This happened till the day she died. So in total about 4 years. She was in the hospital by herself for a week until she died of kidney failure.
2020: (I was 15)
2 years later, one day my dad started having pain in his hernia that he had left untreated for about 13 or so years. He does not like doctors so he refused to go to one (I do not know why but I had theories of why). About a week later he came home from work early which has been normal for him this past week and I was talking to him about something cool that had happened the day before while my back was turned. When I turned back around he was just laying in the chair he was in and I was confused at first until I started seeing white foaming stuff coming from his mouth. I then screamed and called 911. They put me on hold and switched me to multiple people at a bunch of different times. They finally got to him and took him away. He died because of a heart attack on the way to the hospital. I often blame myself because the hospital was just right outside my neighborhood and if I could have picked him up and put him in the truck, maybe I could have saved him.
I feel like I'm supposed to be mad at them and hate them but I just don't. They did their best and to be honest it just wasn't the right time to take me in. However, I appreciate everything they did for me even tho I was a brat at times. I appreciate that my mom spoiled me even tho I was rude to her and scared of her because of her sickness. I appreciate all the little things my dad did for me. I miss everything about them and I would give anything to have them back, even just for a day
THE MAIN POINT OF THIS STORY:
2020-2022: (I was 16)
When my parents died I went to live with my sister. I didn't originally want to because that meant I was moving away from the place I had lived in for the past 13+ years but I didn't think it would be that bad. I was wrong. She has lied to the police about me attempting to kill myself (I have never been suicidal in my life) and physically hurt me (on rare occasions but still). She has also gaslighted me, manipulated me, and emotionally and verbally abused me. There is more but I do not want to get too much into the minor details. I had so much evidence on my old phone as to why she was a bad guardian and I couldn't live with her and I had sent it to my assigned attorney for her to help me in the situation I was in. I will admit I did have loud outbursts towards her at home when I didn't feel heard but that did not happen very often. They didn't do anything. After she got full custody, She sent me away to a treatment center in Utah called, Second Chances in Southern Utah (SCINSU). I was there for about 16 months. I went in on May 5th, 2021 and it closed down on September 9th, 2022. Here was my experience:
Not sure where to start with this one so I guess I’ll just start off with something random. The way I got there was by being gooned. It was terrifying having two big adults take you out of your bed at 3 in the morning to a strange place and not tell you anything about it. SCINSU drilled into our heads that if we don't follow the rules of SCINSU, even in the outside world, we would be deemed as unhealthy and bad people and that over all we would not succeed. When that kind of narrative is shoved down your throat for so long, being told that you won't move up in the program or go home. It starts hurting you mentally and emotionally and it makes you think that what they are saying is true. She almost never came to family therapy and never wrote me a single letter. She claimed that it was because "we talk to each other once a week for 30 minutes so there is no point". I felt so left out because of all the kids that would get about 4-6 letters throughout the week and I got, none. One family therapy I do remember was when she told me she used my money (I had 30k in my savings) to pay off her debt, another story she had was she used it for my dog and her vet bills (she has been perfectly healthy and has never had any serious issues, and now has changed the story to using it on my first 2-3 months of SCINSU. She had also told me in another one that my friends did not care about me and it sent me into this spiral for most of my stay. Oh and the fact that while I was there in my time of 16 months, over 5 male staff had been proven to be predators and grooming us because they were attracted to us minors. They took advantage of us when we were vulnerable and when she was told about everything that had happened, she didn't even bother to talk to me. The fact that when we all had to call our parents about the whole predator situation and everyone's parents wanted to talk to their kids, except for her, is so upsetting to me… she screamed at me through the phone saying “I told Ms.Kite (not her real name ofc) I specifically did not want to talk to you” and I responded with “I'm sorry-”. Then she hung up the phone. One of the times I needed her most and she couldn't be there. They said that they didn't know and didn't have a clue about anything but there had been girls and staff (the good ones obviously) warning the previous director about the behaviors and actions these predators had done and what did he choose to do? Nothing. I have no idea if the older staff had a background check or not. The newest ones however did not get background checked. Background checks were not properly done, especially with male staff so no wonder why girls were being preyed on. What doesn't make sense to me is that some staff would get fired for being too nice, getting too close to us, etc. Some of the staff that we felt safe around and that we could go to when we had an issue were fired within a week or two even got fired just for us being “too attached” to them but 25+ year old men who try to date us are okay to stay right? There were times when they overmedicated us to “fix the problem”. There were times when they didn't give us meds at all because they thought we didn't really need them, even if a doctor prescribed them. A girl had even ran away from the program and got pregnant. When she was found about 2 months later and went back to SCINSU she was given a pill and forced to take it to have a miscarriage. She found out she miscarried the following morning. She and her parents were never notified about this pill either. This is just OUTRAGEOUS to me! I just can’t believe the awful staffing they had there and all the regulations the state had made and they were not being followed yet no one said or did anything!
It ended up shutting down on September 9th, 2023. It is a long story but to make it short, the owner is a domestic abuser and abused his wife and kids.
To be honest, there is SO MUCH MORE but that is what I remember from the top of my head. Let me know if I should go into more detail about anything else I remember it in the comments!
September - October 2022: (I am 17)
Once I was back in Texas, I found out she had extended custody for the rest of my life until the courts say otherwise. Mind you I AM NOT DISABLED AND I AM PERFECTLY HEALTHY besides PTSD ofc. She booked me a hotel room that I stayed in for a month while she was trying to find another treatment center for me to stay in. The silly thing is that she didn't want me to go back to the house I lived at. On the first night, I am not completely sure why but she granted me access to her laptop whenever I wanted. I used this as an opportunity to reach out to my friends to see if she really was telling me the truth about them not caring about me. I am so glad I did because what I found out was shocking. They all texted me everything that happened with photos and videos of them even driving down about 4-5 hours to my house to find me MULTIPLE TIMES!!! They even had photos and videos of their conversations with my sister and she told them nothing! I kept this secret for about a week until I decided to message one of my lawyers about something and that is when I got caught. He told her that I was sending him emails of questions about the guardianship she had over me. She got very upset and took the laptop away from me but thankfully I still had my VR headset and my Xbox that she brought from home and even the computer downstairs in the lobby that I could use to contact my friends. Now because of the Laptop situation she had hired people who work with old folks with dementia to watch me in this hotel I remember being told that I didn't match anything that my file told me and that they very much enjoyed me and I was not a horrible kid like they were told about so they pretty much just let me do whatever as long as I told them where I was going. After the laptop situation, I maybe saw her 3 or 4 times just because she had to drop off something/pick up something from the hotel room and just ignored me and did not want to have any interaction with me it was a very lonely draining 31 days...
I finally got into a place and was there for 11 months. I turned 18 there but because of the extended guardianship, I was not allowed to leave and was still seen as a minor. I graduated high school there on September 15th, 2023, and left 3 days later because of some issues with my sister
September 2023: (I am 18)
We found an Independent living program in Salt Lake City, Utah and it is not that bad but it's not the best either, however, I was grateful to be out of residential treatment centers. She dropped me off here with my stuff and about 2 days later blocked me. Never gave me a reason as to why. I struggled with getting an ID and getting all my documents because she wasn't sending them (she finally did ofc). The ID was $23 and the program I am in could have helped me because they pay for things like that but because I came in with about $4.87 they said I could do it on my own. I didn't have any way to make money besides selling my MTG cards and playing my guitar in the streets until I found out I needed a permit for that. It took about 3-4 months to get the money needed for my state ID
In conclusion,
Right now I am 19 and I am just trying to remember how the real world works and to be honest it is very hard but I just need to take baby steps and it will get easier over time. I have a job at Jimmy Johns now and it took 6 months to get it but I am happy to have it! Gives me something to look forward to! :)
I feel like she resents me because Mom and Dad left everything to me and left her nothing. I don't know why but I feel like she probably treated them the same way she treated me and that is probably why I maybe only saw her 3 or 4 times in the first 15 years of my life until the day she took interest in me.
I don't think I can ever forgive her for putting me through all that stuff for the past 3 years and to this day. As a kid, I dreamed of going to prom and other school dances with a handsome boy for as long as I could remember and having all these crazy stories from high school with all my friends, and just living like a semi-normal teenager. That will never happen now and I will never get that back. She also refuses to give me my stuff back unless I keep a job for about 3 months and pay her for everything and all these little terms and conditions. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay considering everything she has done and all the money she has stolen from me but I don't know how else I'm getting anything back so I will just have to do it. She wants me to become a ward of the state so she doesn't have to talk to me anymore or be responsible for me. This will be happening on April 1st. She believes everything she has done to me is okay and justified as well. Wish me luck guys. I'll update you all as soon as possible. <3

I've noticed a small bump near the umbilical area of my puppy and I'm concerned about what it might be. It doesn't seem to be causing any discomfort, but I want to be proactive in understanding if it's something I should be worried about. Here is a photo of the bump.
Just went to the vet and she was so relaxed and told me to wait for her to grow, that’s too soon to tell. Could it be an umbilical hernia or is it just part of the natural healing process after an umbilical cord falls off? She's still very young and hasn't had any other health issues.
