2024.05.14 10:36 SignificantMeat3154 Keyless Fob Query

I have a question as something happened regarding my car It’s a Skoda Octavia VRS 2017 British Gas needed me to move my car so my wife did it Unfortunately she didn’t switch the car off and left the key in the house and drove off in her car. My son told me my window wipers where on That’s when I discovered she left the car running and the “no key fob “ found Why doesn’t the car A. Switch off B. Lock the doors
If the key isn’t in the car????
It’s a concern owning a keyless entry car I know but it’s more concerning the car still operate with key nowhere near it

2024.05.14 10:28 HoshiN9723 AITA for not talking with my friend’s daughter, after they saved mine and my baby girl’s lives?

So little backstory and apologies in advance, english is not my first language. 2 yrs ago I (26F) was back in my country with my partner (British 36M) and we got pregnant so we decided to go back in Scotland as there’s so much more help for new parents. The day we landed something unexpected happened and my partner got arrested at the airport, living me 4 months pregnant completely alone. I put myself together, go back to my old job for the chance to have maternity leave, but the owner of the place I was working stole 5k from me, stole my maternity leave and then closed the business passing it to her granddaughter (in this way she wouldn’t be persecuted for all the money that she stole), in the meantime I have pre-settled status so I wasn’t able to ask for any benefits and was left with absolutely nothing. My friend F55 that was working with me open her house to me and my daughter and let us stay till I was able to have my settled status and access benefits. I was doing whatever I could to help around the house, painting the rooms, deep cleaning the carpets etc. still never enough to repay that act of selfless kindness and I’ll always be in debt with her and her husband. Now, my friend has a daughter 30F that also worked with me, we were pals at the start but after moving in with them I just couldn’t bring myself to be friendly with her anymore. She’s a pathological liar, brought a drug dealer to the house looking for money, lied that her dad was in the hospital so to get out of work, takes benefits to just sleep all day and get mad with it at night, stole her dad car during nights so that she could go and sell gear. I know addiction is an illness but she refuses to see what is she doing wrong and her parents are “okay” with it, she’s been like this her whole life and there’s nothing they can do anymore. Still, is not of my business what they do with her, their daughter their lives. Still I own that family my life, but recently the daughter text me and want to be “pals” again (now I get benefits so she’s gonna be looking for money) but I don’t want her in my and my 10 months old daughter. AITA if I refuse to have any relationship with her even tho her parents saved me? I’ll be forever grateful and I would do anything for them, but I want her as far as possible from my little girl.

2024.05.14 09:53 Forxxen Where are the country skins located in the game files?

I want to slightly edit the country skin the game uses as default skin. Anyone have any idea where I can find these skins?
I am not interested in a club that has the skins, not interested in 'just put it in Skins/Models/CarSport' since this only changes it in the menu, not in the game. Thank you

2024.05.14 09:38 -pew-pew-pew-pew- Capital One Venture X Approval Odds?

Hey All, I really want to get the Venture X (yeah I know join the club). I've been gardening for a bit and wanted to ask my approval odds on the Venture X. I've searched a bit and have not found similar scenarios to me so hopefully this may help someone else out in the future.
-Preapproved for only 3 "good credit" cards with no bonuses on regular preapproval link.
Scores: EX: 735, TU, 723 EQ, 718..
Inquiries EX: 1/6 /1/12 8/24 (car loans apps). TU: 0/6 0/12 3/24 EQ: 0/6 0/12 3/24
AAOA: 4y 6m
Credit Utilization: 10% Payment history 100% New Accounts: 0/6 0/12 3/24
Currently have 1 Capital One QS Card $950 CL (they refuse to increase, one of my oldest cards). Total Accounts probably 27? Oldest credit card age 7y7m. And is actually the C1 QS card (originally secured).
Income 350k 1 active car loan.
My strategy is that I plan on freezing experian and applying for the VX. My TU and EQ look pretty strong for the inquiry and new account sensitive which may push an approval. I am unable to test this theory because if I freeze EX and run the VX preapproval I get a denial letter in the mail stating "we were unable to obtain a credit pull." If I do the general preapproval tool I only get the "good credit cards" with no SUBs. Thoughts? Also wanted to ask if the business version of VX will be easier to get approved for (I would prefer it since I am finally under 5/24)..
Thanks in advance!

2024.05.14 09:08 ClayKavalier Ned Grabavoy's Track Record

Many people are calling for Ned's head lately.
I don't think he's been perfect. He has a positive reputation around the league at least as a person and businessperson. That doesn't mean he's a good scout.
I think it's important to separate hirings into categories one would attribute to the owner, the coach, or the general manager, even though it is reportedly a collaborative process and Paulson has to sign off on everything. It is also essential to note that different coaches have different systems, styles, strategies, and tactics. Players identified as having the skills, disposition, mentality, etc. for particular purposes under a particular coach may not work as well in different circumstances. For example, I'll suggest that having a slow right centerback isn't as much of a problem with a right fullback who can track back, central midfielders who can help cover, and an offense that defends higher, doesn't turn the ball over so often, and is effective in attack. Also, given the relatively sudden and unexpected departures of Porter and Wilkinson, and the transition periods between coaches and scouting/technical staff, it's important to note that there were times when there weren't people in particular roles and the styles, tactics, strategies, philosophies, etc. weren't clear or changed.
While I have no proof and Ned has expressed his enthusiasm for and confidence in Neville, I very much feel like Phil is Paulson's guy. It was said that he had a rapport with Paulson. I don't expect Ned to say anything publicly that isn't supportive. Maybe he actually believed Neville was the best candidate and maybe he still believes he's a good coach.
Using Wikipedia, I documented which players signed with the club or had their contracts extended while Ned was in different roles.
When he was promoted to Technical Director, he was specifically credited with scouting specific players. He's also credited with finalizing the deal with Evander in late 2022, after GW was fired but before he was officially GM. The rumor is that the deal was going to fall apart before Ned took over negotiations. I've italicized those players that Ned might have been involved in scouting, recruiting, signing, or extending who are still on the team. I've also indicated when I think it's pretty clear when a player was brought in by a coach because of some past association. I may be wrong about some and may have missed some. I know there is incomplete information but I only tried so hard. There are also situations where the player was technically signed to an extension in one year but it was effectively for the next season. The distinction between preseason and summer transfer window signings isn't always obvious. Also, many of these players were scouted for some time before a decision was made to sign them and an opportunity presented itself. For example, Wilkinson talked about wanting Lucas Melano for some time. I think Porter was big on him too. We had our eyes on Yimmi Chara for a long time too. Considering that, I'm not inclined to credit Ned with 2017 signings at all, and don't think he had much to do with the renewal or financial decisions until 2023.

With all of this info, I think we can blame Ned in whole or in part for the following current players being signed and / or having their contracts renewed:
  1. Rodriguez
  2. Evander
  3. Loría
  4. Williamson
  5. Moreno
  6. Mosquera
  7. McGraw
  8. Eric Miller
  9. Fogaça
  10. Antony
  11. Mora
  12. Diego Chara
  13. Araujo
  14. Paredes
  15. Ayala
  16. Mabiala
  17. Asprilla
  18. Kamal Miller
  19. Muse
  20. Crepeau
  21. Pantemis
  22. Sulte
  23. Zuparic
  24. Ikoba
  25. Bravo
Gee, that's the entire roster. Realistically though, I'm only crediting him for 2023 and maybe Rodriguez. He wasn't really GM until Evander at the end of 2022. GW, Paulson, Porter, Gio, and Neville all have had input and in many cases more authority in decision-making up to that point.
Which players came and went under Ned's watch should we not have signed or not let go?
And which players who are still on the roster just objectively suck and aren't MLS-level players? As starters or depth? Who doesn't even have any potential? Who has aged out? Who is good but doesn't fit the system? Who doesn't fit Neville's system but fit Gio's? Note: this is all in MLS-level terms.
  1. Rodriguez was great but is now just good and arguably doesn't fit the system. He's a second striker but we only play with one forward. I don't think the 4-4-2 we tried against Seattle was a good idea. Obviously, it didn't work. Maybe a diamond of Evander, Chara, Ayala, and Paredes. We'd need more defense to cover for Mosquera getting forward and Moreno tucking in. But I digress...
  2. Evander is good but poorly utilized and inconsistent. He plays to the level of his teammates. He's not a leader. Could he be great? Probably not as a 10. He's got flashes though, so I hope I'm wrong.
  3. Loría in my eyes isn't MLS level and hit his ceiling. I'll accept arguments that he's a good sub for the money.
  4. Williamson is good but oft-injured, and inconsistently plays to the level of his teammates.
  5. Moreno is inconsistent, sometimes played out of position, doesn't fit the system, but has potential. He takes chances, which I respect, but maybe doesn't have the best judgement. Maybe he can learn. I hope so. He tries. He's good. He could be great. He probably shouldn't be the starter all the time.
  6. Mosquera is a good winger but terrible fullback. Or maybe he's a good wingback but terrible fullback, depending on how you define the roles. Maybe he has potential. I increasingly doubt it. He doesn't seem to have the mentality for it. He's Alvas Powell 2.0. I'd love to be wrong. He tried last match. If he becomes a good fullback he'll be great overall.
  7. McGraw is good but terrible in the system, especially when Mosquera doesn't track back. He's just too slow and sometimes has poor judgement.
  8. Eric Miller is good as a sub right fullback and decent as a sub left fullback.
  9. Fogaça isn't good and has no potential. I'd love to be wrong. I like his workrate but he's not MLS quality and never will be.
  10. Antony is good, not great, and maybe has potential. His first touch is garbage, he's one-footed, and he doesn't make smart runs. He fast though. I don't think he can succeed on a shitty team like ours because he won't see the ball enough. Ideally, he'd understudy to a great winger and learn from them.
  11. Mora is surprisingly good. He's opportunistic. He's a leader. He's committed. He puts in effort. I still don't think he's a DP and I'd kind of prefer he was a subto an even better forward but it's hard to argue with success.
  12. Diego Chara. He's still very good. People who say he's lost a step are confusing his inability to cover everybody else's mistakes, and his own occasional lapses, with having lost it. He's barely lost anything. He'd look better on a team that wasn't absolute ass. It's sad for him.
  13. Araujo. I think he's good but just too slow for this system. His passing is good and he's good with the ball at his feet. His positioning and judgement seem fine, generally. I'd bet he'd look better on a better team too. I could say the same for some former centerbacks as well.
  14. Paredes. He's good. He's developed and grown on me. He's pretty consistent and generally puts in effort. He rarely pisses me off. I'd hoped he'd develop into a 6 but that's apparently not to be. I think he's hit his ceiling. He's a great rotator or sub. Not a star.
  15. Ayala. He's good. Could become great if he can stay healthy and get more development. I'm worried about his injury history. He's a bit small and can get pushed around a bit.
  16. Mabiala. He's just too old and slow now. Good dude. Maybe his last extension was too long. I think the tactics are especially bad for him but he wasn't good enough last season either. Father Time just caught up faster than we expected.
  17. Asprilla. Is he good? I don't think he really is. But his moments of sheer genius, his workrate, and his heart make him great. As a sub. Flare counts for a lot. I love it when Asprilla dazzles.
  18. Kamal Miller. He's good but too slow for the system.
  19. Muse. No idea man.
  20. Crepeau. He's great but we sure haven't given him a chance to be great for us yet.
  21. Pantemis. He's good and could be great.
  22. Sulte. I've only ever seen him be awful. I wish him the best but have no reason for optimism, especially since Muse came on.
  23. Zuparic. He's the best player in the league, obviously. He's good. Maybe he was great once. He's not good enough for the system at least. If Neville ever substantively changes tactics I think he could be solid for us again. Seems like his attitude may be a problem though. Who knows what to believe?
  24. Ikoba. Absolute mystery to me. I assume the worst from context clues. Wish him the best. I think he, Sulte, and all who came before underscore how wretched our academy system is. Who do we blame for that? Does it matter? I think it does. I'd love to develop cheap players we could sell to reinvest in the club.
  25. Bravo. He's great. He could be brilliant. He makes the occasional mistake but that's the price of greatness. He takes risks. He's a fighter too. Love this dude but he still gets underrated and shit on. We're so much better with him on the team. How often do we have good fullbacks, especially a left back. Him, Moreira, and Villafaña are kind of it, right? Farfan showed promise but bringing Jorge back stunted his prospects with us?
I think we are less than the sum of our parts. I don't think too many of our players are scrubs. We have too much invested in central midfield, centerback, and keeper. Central midfield was complicated by injuries and Chara's insane longevity. Our poor DP signings hurt our ability to move on from them in terms of timing and money. Ivacic was still on the books well into the last transfer window. Mabiala is taking up roster and cap space. Zuparic is questionable. McGraw and Araujo just don't seem to be good fits for the system that Neville is trying to implement. Kamal Miller isn't either but Neville doesn't realize that. I'll suggest that Mosquera not defending hurt the CBs last season too, along with the missing attacking DPs.
I don't know what we can realistically do about our problems near-term. I don't think Nevilleball works even with a right fullback who can defend and faster centerbacks. That would help. But the lack of off-the-ball movement, lack of ball progression through midfield, lack of creative runs, poor passing, low pressure, shitty zonal marking on set piece defending, not closing passing lanes, not stepping to the ball; not making incisive, line-splitting passes; not communicating, poor rotations, not making the final pass or taking shots in the box, passing back all the time, slow build-up, not covering the far post, injuries... It's a lot. Some of these problems predate Neville, so he ought to have accounted for them and adjusted accordingly. The FO has denied lack of talent is a problem. That leaves coaching and attitude or mentality. Attitude and mentality often come back to coaching IMHO.

2024.05.14 09:03 lucillemcgillicudy How Crystal REALLY earned her money!

Listening to today’s podcast, Holly, Bridget, and Marston all seemed to cast doubt on how Crystal earned enough money to purchase 8 Los Angeles properties while living at the mansion.
They criticized her presenting herself as a “girl boss” and “building an empire” and seemed to imply that the money came straight from Hef.
I don’t like Crystal at all, but I had an issue with this. I don’t think it’s all that mysterious how Crystal built her property portfolio or earned money.
To me, it seemed like all 3 of them- Holly, Bridget, and Marston, were just jealous of Crystal possibly making wise financial investments that grew her portfolio, and maybe bitter about their own perceived lack of financial success.
When Crystal was on the Bethenny Frankel podcast, Bethenny was astounded that Crystal managed to become a millionaire while living with Hef. Bethenny said something like “I need you to explain exactly how you did that, step by step!”
So Crystal explained. She seemed very uncomfortable but she explained, and gave numbers.
She said that she got a job DJ’ing once per week in Vegas and that she was paid $7,500 per gig. She said that she promoted detox teas on Instagram, once or twice a week. She said she was paid thousands per post, and quoted the $7,500 figure again. She said Hef had no idea she was making money from Instagram and she hid it from him.
She said before on a couple different podcasts that the allowance was originally $1k per week but that it was raised to $2k per week and then raised again. I don’t remember her giving a number for what it was raised to at its highest, she seemed evasive about that.
I believe that unlike Holly and Bridget, but similar to Kendra, Crystal was in fact allowed to do club appearances for money. I don’t know how much she made from those so I’m not even going to include that in the calculations.
But even just with those 3 income streams- $2k per week allowance, $7.5k per week DJ’ing, $7.5k per week Instagram sponsorships- that is $17k per week!!! This is $884,000 per year, and presumably she would have been earning this for at least several years. She was at the mansion for a long time. She wouldn’t have been earning this much every year, but she could have for a few years.
This is absolutely enough money to purchase multiple LA homes, one at a time, over several years! Furthermore, I believe Crystal’s mother was a real estate agent long before the mansion. I remember seeing on a website Crystal said that she also got her real estate license. I don’t know if this is true but this is what she claims. I don’t think Crystal was selling homes to clients or anything but I can believe she had some knowledge of real estate.
Holly said in the episode “I took a class in real estate investment at UCLA, and I know she wouldn’t have been able to buy those properties herself, blah blah blah.” I know Holly brings up this online class constantly and fancies herself a real estate expert, but she is not the only person who knows about real estate! If both Crystal and her mom had real estate licenses, presumably they also knew a thing or two.
Holly purchased her first investment property after a few years of living at the mansion. She bought a property in her hometown in small town Oregon. Crystal’s first property was in Los Angeles. Obviously a Los Angeles property is going to appreciate much faster than a property in a small town in Oregon. Presumably the house could have increased in value by several hundred thousand dollars in just a few years.
I’m just saying- it’s not that far fetched that Crystal could have built a property empire through her own good decisions. I agree with a LOT of the criticisms of Crystal, but not this one.
By the way, Bridget bought a Los Angeles house after moving out of the mansion, lived there for many years, and eventually sold it at a loss. This was surprising to me. You’d think after that 10+ years it would have gone up in value, especially in a city like Los Angeles, but apparently she bought high and sold low. I don’t think Bridget has real estate savvy, so it’s obviously easy for her to criticize Crystal and downplay her achievement.

2024.05.14 08:35 baikaldeep Islands (short story)

Nothing special, feel free to leave feedback.

A year before I left Boston, we went for dinner one night. It was after ultimate frisbee, and Boloco was the only place open. We were still riding high from the last time, when we'd gotten everyone to swim across the Charles. Some kids from MIT had been eating grapes as they walked across the bridge, and I'd convinced them to throw some to me to try to catch in my mouth. They missed a few times before throwing down the ziplock bag, and I was able to throw one to you, which you caught.
So this time, I'd joked we should climb the fence to the reservoir and see if we could eat burritos on our backs as we swam across, like otters. You liked something I'd said, so instead of rushing it with Boloco, we wandered the grocery aisles to savor the planning. In the end, you'd proposed making a little boat by turning the frisbee upside down and duct taping two water bottles beneath as pontoons. "We could make smores," you said leaning toward me. We bought a tiki torch that we sat in the middle and then piled the rest of the frisbee with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate squares from Hershey bars. Before we left, you ran back to your car to get a sharpie. You wrote "S.S. More" on the side of one water bottle. I posed for a photo.
The platter was awkward, and we dropped a couple pieces of chocolate in the woods. But we got through the fence easily. We broke sticks for our marshmallows and you lit the torch with a lighter from your car. I remember there were these little fish that would nibble at our toes in the shallows. It was unpleasant, but it didn't quite hurt, more ticklish. I was a more confident swimmer, so I pulled the jump rope, swimming on my back, the other hand balancing my marshmallow over the carcinogenic flame.
At some point out on the water, the wind picked up and blew out the torch. We treaded water several minutes as you tried to get the lighter, wet from where you'd stuffed it into your underwear, to work. At the other side of the reservoir, we stood and those little fish nibbled at us, and you shook out the lighter hard, and lit the torch. We ate as much as we pleased, laughing the whole way back. You took a turn with the jump rope.
That summer we drove up and stayed at the cabin your great uncle owned in Maine. The cabin itself was a converted boat, where your uncle, a local politician from Florida, spent his summers with his obese wife. They were the legal guardians of your cousin, whose father disappeared again after relapsing. It was early autumn, and you'd said it was too cold to swim. But we'd go down and jump in the water with your aunt and uncle, who were convinced the cold was soothing to your aunt's gout. I taught the little boy to skip rocks, but I got him in trouble by talking in character as Scarlet O'Hara during a game of Clue, which he wouldn't stop imitating for the rest of the afternoon. His grandfather sent him outside until he stopped. When you and I went to look for him, he was trying to split logs with an axe in his flip flops. We told him not to do that because he could lose his toes, and I told him that voices were only funny for a short time.
You and I didn't sleep in the old boat cabin, which was expectedly small. Instead, we slept in an L in a 12'x12' shed with a light bulb, which hung on an extension cord from a truss. We talked until 3am or 4am, about everything, work, girls, childhood, and the things that we'd done that had finally dragged us into sobriety.
The next morning, I'd said I wanted to see if I could swim across Lewis Cove and back. As soon as I said it, you were in. You were so lean from running all the time, and before we even got past the boats and the lobster traps, you were struggling from the cold. I'd suggested going back or even climbing out on one of the docks holding traps, but you refused. In the middle, you were worried about making it across at all. I figured I could carry you, but without a float, I didn't think I could carry you very far. When we finally got to where we could stand, you got out and tried to warm up. I stayed in the water, swimming back out a little because for some reason I thought a lobster might pinch me. Eventually, I realized how violently you were shivering. So I got out too, and we decided to go find the road and try to hitchhike back.
It turned out to be one of the islands scattered along the coast of Maine. Luckily, the restaurant, the only thing on the island, hadn't yet closed for the year. The staff, who lived on the island in warm months, were shocked to see us on their day off. You asked if they were planning to take their boat across the water anytime soon. "If you're already making the trip, maybe we could carpool?" you suggested. Two of them gave us a lift in a little boat, making thinly veiled comments about the stupidity of summer people most of the way.
The next day, you slept for hours with a fever. Your aunt was angry that I'd been a bad influence. I went back out and tried to complete the round trip swim. I did it carefully, keeping my head out of the water most of the time and swimming a modified breaststroke. I thought maybe a fast pace would help keep my body temperature up. On the other side, I kicked off the rocks and swam back, and it was cold, but I was fine. Back at the cabin, you were awake and gave me a hug when I came in. We looked up the swimming route on your phone and saw that it was indeed an island, a mile and change round trip. That night we bought a few lobsters from some place along the road, which your uncle boiled in seawater.
A few weeks later, you'd tried to set me up with a girl you knew. You showed me a photo of her, a knockout blonde from Florida. You said you'd been telling her all about me and had sent her my website, and that she wanted to visit Boston and meet me. You told me what a good person she was. "She does little things you'd do, like whenever she has spare change, she goes and puts it in the coin return of vending machines so that it'll make someone's day." I asked why you weren't dating her, but you brushed me off. We started arguing somehow at Bukowski's, some comment I'd made because you'd said she routinely got favors from an infatuated ex. I'd told you it sounded like trouble, and that remembering that beauty is fleeting was why I hadn't slept my way through the ultimate frisbee club yet. We ended up finishing our White Trash Cheese Steaks in silence.
I left Boston with some girl the following summer. It fizzled in weeks, but it was years later that I realized how much you loved me. My ex-wife had been organizing photos, and had come across the picture you took of me holding the frisbee boat. She was always jealous of other women, and she asked who I was smiling at in the photo. 2024.05.14 08:24 ThrowRAsleepycat2020 My boyfriend M25 called me F23 a pig and I'm not sure how to get over it?

So some background to the situation: I am proud to say ive been recovered from bulimia for round 3 years now, this is something I have spoken about with my boyfriend because body image and self confidence is always something I have struggled with in recovery due to gaining the back weight! We have been together only a few months and he is polish im british :)
The situation: we work together in a pretty stressful job and had just finished a night shift. My boyfriend suggested we drive to get a gregs for breakfast and try to stay up that morning to reset our body clock. I drove to a nearby gregs everything is fine until im eating a sausage roll (which are very messy) and he says 'your like a pig' im completely in shock?! I told him how offensive that is and he goes on to say im eating like a pig bit its a joke? I didn't finish my food and drove back in silence until he says im sorry that it made you feel like that but you shouldn't react like this when you know I wouldn't mean it in a horrible way??? All I wanted was a sincere apology not blaming me for my reaction, anyway I drop him off at home and tell him im going back home, and he says bye slams my car door then doesn't message me for the rest of the day
Im completely fed up I don't know if I am overreacting because of my past eating disorder but I feel he has no care or understanding for my feelings. I don't nt know what to do as I have no friends to speak about it

Today, we come together to celebrate the extraordinary life of Rusty Henderson, a man who defied convention and left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Rusty’s journey was a tapestry woven with adventures, friendships, and a touch of mayhem that made him truly unforgettable.Born and raised in the heart of East LA, Rusty embraced life with a flair that was uniquely his own. From his days as an unsigned professional skater, where his enthusiasm far outweighed his skating skills, to his fashion statement in oversized corduroy pants from Goodwill, Rusty was a trendsetter ahead of his time. Even his escapades in Tijuana, spending nights in local jails, added to the legend of Rusty Henderson. But Rusty wasn’t just about wild tales and questionable choices. In 2012, he stunned the world by triumphing in the Paris to Peking rally race, showcasing a determination and grit that few could match. His circle of friends was equally impressive, counting luminaries like Barack Obama and Jay-Z among his closest companions.

Despite his rough edges, Rusty had a kind heart, albeit in his own unique way. He never turned down an opportunity to leave his mark, whether through tattoos, memories, or even the occasional run-in with the law—earning him an "aggravated assault" charge that added a touch of drama to his story.Rusty discovered serenity in unlikely quarters after a decade of self-reflection in a maximum-security prison. A piece of gum that Rusty had borrowed was returned with sincerity; this was a symbol of his newfound gratitude and peace, and it marked the end of his journey and his reunion with Allah, whom he had sought his whole life. As a last act of rebellion, Rusty settled down in Portland, Oregon, and he embraced the city's eccentricities and allure with his usual zeal. Rusty may have appeared to be inactive, but his influence was profound. His stories, laughter, and unfaltering loyalty will be deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Beyond his eccentric sense of style and daring exploits, Rusty's individuality was evident in his musical choices as well. A hip-hop artist as eclectic as Rusty himself, his sound was a delightful combination of the laid-back vibes of Eek a Mouse and the quirky charm of Weezer. Humor, introspection, and a good amount of irreverence were all elements of his music that reflected his chaotic but full life. We can not help but picture Rusty grinning naughtily as we think about his journey, knowing full well that he is probably not making his way to heaven's gates but rather causing chaos wherever he goes. Rusty, your distinct hip-hop legacy will continue to thrive through the joy, reminiscences, and music that you left behind. Rusty Henderson, the friend whose presence brightened our lives, the rally champion, the jailbird with a golden heart, and the skater who could not skate, is leaving us today. The many vivid chapters of your extraordinary life will keep Rusty's memory alive in our memories and hearts. Rusty Henderson, may you rest in peace. You were one of a kind, and we will always remember you and the music you created.

*Indeed, game is very beautiful but unfortunately lack key elements which keep the users engaged in game eventually, players get bored I guess. After beating a few clubs it has become very boring. I hope there were more events, more cars like the latest Cars are lambo Huracan and R8 which are like 10 years old model. Most importantly for me personally I hope they add pursuit mode in this game, we need cops on this game which help us earn money and gold of possible. After beating a few clubs the only best part is to just drive in an open world game...

Wrong way tesla driver. Is the car supposed to be smarter than the driver or the driver smarter than the car? Both failed. Golden CO April 2nd 2024
I saw this tesla coming down this very well marked road in broad daylight the other day (OC). Head on. He was moving towards us about 20mph when I got the phone out. About 4 people had to dip in behind me to get out of his way so he could cut across the concrete median about 300ft down the road. I didn't catch where he started his blunder or if he decided to quit being British, maybe he knows best?
Are tesla cars supposed to prevent this? Are tesla drivers supposed to stop the car from being a liability? Either way you've got a moron in the seat and a moron at the helm of the company. The double negative didn't cancel out but did put me in danger. Thanks Elon!

2024.05.14 06:47 Latter_Quit5023 AITAH for using my boyfriend's "hall pass" he gave me on the "wrong" person?

Hi guys. Firstly, burner account for obvious reasons. Secondly I want some.... outside perspective on this.
So I (31F) have been dating my boyfriend John (37M) for close to a year. John has a really great job but has a pet project living his dream of putting a music project together. You would never know he has no formal experience but he has a great ear and he found a really great musician to start off. A beautiful talented young woman by the name of Tammy (25F), whom John has no interest in romantically because, well... he is with me and is happy with me.
Now Tammy is bisexual and it's no secret she has a crush on me. Always hugging me, wanting to put her arm around me to take selfies with me, always complimenting me. I am not uncomfortable with it and neither is John because he feels it's just harmless affection between between two new besties.
One day I ask to speak to her in private and I tell her that John has this weird thing about wanting to lick my armpits during sex (I don't mind, just I never had a partner doing... that before and it actually feels good) and I asked her if she ever had a partner focus on it. She says no, but asks if I can raise my arms up. I do, and she says "I can see why John likes to lick them, even your armpits are gorgeous." She always makes a point to gush on me. Sorry for the TMI, btw.
When me and John got in the car later that day I tell him what I talked to Tammy about. He said, and I quote, "We all know her lesbian crush on you. I know you say you're hetero, but if you ever want to scratch that lesbian itch I am giving you a hall pass.... a lesbian hall pass where I will not consider it cheating as long as it's with another girl." I tell him thanks but it will never be used, and that's the end of it....
....Fast forward to a month later and John is out of town for a work thing. Tammy invites me out to go clubbing with her, and I accept. We go and have a great time, dancing, then she suddenly leans in and kisses me! At first I was taken aback, but then I remember the hall pass and decide to kiss her back. Well let's just say that we couldn't wait to get back to her place and just lay into each other.... she also got why my BF liked my armpits. It was my very first time doing anything with a woman and although I enjoyed the experience, I think I would rather be with my guy.
When John got back the next day, I couldn't hold back and told him I used the lesbian hall pass. He asked, "Who was the lucky lady?" When I tell him it was Tammy, he got quiet, then said "Of all the women you had to pick Tammy?" I told him he didn't say she was off limits or anything so why not? He told me, "What you did was like clicking the unsubscribe link in a spam email. It doesn't do what you think it does. By having sex with her, she is likely going to think she has a shot of being with you as her girlfriend." I tell him that's silly, she knows I am with you.
A couple of days later she comes to my house and tells me that she really likes me and that night confirmed her feelings for me. I tell her that our night together was a one-time only show and I am with John not to mention I am not really into women (Alcohol was involved). She burst into tears, left in a hurry and John said she called him and asked to take a break from the pet project. My friends that I told are saying I am the asshole not for using the hallpass but for deciding to use it on John's partner knowing her crush. But AITAH if John didn't tell me up from the start not to use it on her?

Hello all! I’m looking for some recommendations about the next card to add to my travel portfolio. In particular, I’m traveling to 3 countries in Europe late August/early September and would like to cover as much of it on points as I possibly can. Especially hotel rooms as the price of those can add up quickly. Including my credit profile below to help with recommendations.

2024.05.14 05:54 Just_A_Guitarist Was the Forza photo community better in FH4?

Hi! So I was looking in the photos in fh4 bc I was bored and wow dude the photos are beautiful! Like I was shocked at how beautiful and colorful and the variety of photos too, some were barn finds and others were recreations of Ford V Ferrari and a lot of em were very colorful pictures of cars with that old British architecture cozy vibe. So in your opinion, did photography peak in FH4? I personally think it did

2024.05.14 05:13 Total_Bag7642 Where to live in NJ as a young professional?

22M here, I will be moving to NJ for work and I am trying to find a good area to live in. My work is around the Princeton area so I would prefer to be somewhere close to the NJ transit line (easier to go to NYC). But I will have a car so I am fine with a <30min commute. A lot of my work-adjacent friends are living in Jersey City or NYC but that's too far for me.
I don't have any friends in the east coast since I've lived in the west coast all my life. So far, I am considering Highland Park/Brunswick area. Maybe even Philly. I want to get your opinion on what would be a good place for hobbies (sports/gym), bars/clubs, events, and overall a social place to hang out with people my age (unlike the geriatric Princeton). Thank you!
