2024.05.14 13:48 adeity1 HR wants me to do a screenshare while purchasing flight tickets for a business trip, is it safe?

My HR(EU based) wants me to do a live screenshare while I book my flights for a business trip. I understand that they may want to avoid any errors or make sure that I am actually booking tickets but I am not comfortable completing payment while sharing my screen. Could my credit card information be abused even if they can't access OTP? I know that some countries don't have the OTP system so can someone still use my Indian Bank issued credit card without OTP? Am I being paranoid?

2024.05.14 13:46 maskuraid Does Umbris, Fear Manifest trigger exponentially when Copied

Forgive me if this is a silly question I'm new to the game and still learning, but I'm wondering if I have this ruling understood.
If I have [Umbris, Fear Manifest] on board and I cast [Rite of Replication] with its 5-cost Kicker, this creates 5 token copies of Umbris.
Each token is a Nightmare Horror that enters the battle field. Does the effect trigger on cast, and then trigger each copy, in addition to triggering the original umbris, and does the legend rule apply before or after this interaction.
As far as I understand, the options are as follows:
That or some unexpected result hits, if so let me know!
I'm eager to learn more about the game and having fun working with this commander so a small deranged part of me hopes that it triggers 31 times (unless my math is awful and its more!).

2024.05.14 13:46 Independent-Book-949 SCAM ALERT!

Had someone try to scam me via phone call last night.
They posed as an employee from Uber saying that they were calling because a rider made a complaint that “I was not the same person in the picture and that they needed to verify some information”. He then started to ask me some questions that didn’t seem too off but could, indeed, be used to verify my account (-relatively new driver here; 3 weeks ish). Asked to verify my contact email on the account, what method of payment I have on my account (card linked, routing etc), and was oddly very sympathetic. I had explained how odd it is that someone would complain because I look the same in the photos and only had one rider at that time (thunderstorms previously) and that conversation was very cordial and the pax seemed really friendly. The scam caller seemed very sympathetic and basically was like “yea, sometimes people do these things to get a free ride”.
Right before he had called, I also had accepted a new ride request and was on the way to the pickup. When I answered the scammers phone call, I mentioned that I was en route to a rider and he said “no don’t pay attention to that, that was us sending you a fake pickup to initiate verification and that wi would be paid for my time on the phone verifying. I never gave my bank acct routing info or acct info but there were a series of questions where he said “I’m going to send you a code, can you confirm it” and then I noticed a message that my PayPal password had been changed. First obvious red flag 🚩. He then asked me to confirm the amount of money in my bank account so that he could send reimbursement money as well as a bonus amount of $150. Red flag #2🚩 I said, the numeric amount of my checking account should have nothing to do with applying any monies into my account. At this, he started losing his composure “look, just verify it so that we can deposit the ($75 -previously $150 red flag 🚩 #3 and your account will be verified and you can continue driving”. At that point I knew for sure it was a scam and said, “how many people have you tried scamming already?” And he hung up.
They’re getting smart y’all. Stay alert and don’t be fooled. Stay safe out there.
Call came from: (830)205-1951 “Donald Walker” (-name said to me)

2024.05.14 13:44 ARreddit10 Two applications at the same time

Hello folks. I just applied for an SBI CB card few days back and verification done. Got an SMS saying "please allow us 11 working days to process your application". Now I'm also looking to get HSBC CB. Should I wait until my SBI application is fully processed (either approval or rejection) or shall I go ahead and apply for HSBC now itself? If I do, will it impact the approval of either of these applications?

2024.05.14 13:43 Heavy-State1115 Business newbie here looking for some business tips and wanting to hear your stories !

Hi guys, I'm 26, currently working as a civil engineer in Australia, and last year I started a business with a mate who is currently working as a commercial pilot. So, we've been working full time for around 2 years now, and quickly found out we wanted more freedom. Since we are both interested in entrepreneurship, we decided to "give this thing a go".
According to some YouTubers out there, the best way to start a business is to think about the problems you've solved in your past and make a business solving that problem for other people going through the same struggles. So, the idea we had was to help international graduates land full-time employment through our coaching program. I was an international student my whole life, and I also struggled to land a role (due to visa issues, lack of work experience, etc.), so I thought there were definitely people out there who needed help. After doing a bunch of research and looking at similar businesses that are already operating, we built a program similar, better, and cheaper. Since then, we've worked on it for a year now, until last month when we decided to quit.
So Here's why:
We've had around 10 students so far. And the results were great, we got good testimonials and we actually felt fulfilled helping these people out. One of our students couldn’t find employment even after 5 years from graduation and we helped him land his first engineering role. But despite all of these we found out two things.
  1. Most of our prospects couldn’t afford our service.
The people we were targeting mostly worked in restaurants, retail, petrol stations, and drove for Uber. I don’t want to sound rude, but we were trying to sell a costly product ($1500 for our program) to people at the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum. We learned sales along the way. We reached out to hundreds, or even thousands, of people on LinkedIn. We offered them a free first lesson or tried webinars, and we had people attending those.
However, all the responses we received were, "I can’t afford it now." We really did blame ourselves for a long time, saying "we suck at sales." But to be absolutely honest, we accepted that these people could not afford it. We even offered installment payments (payment divided into 4). But thinking now, since a lot of them earn around $1000 per week, and with paying rent and other expenses, we found out that most of these people did not have the money to join. Many of the students who joined us were either married or living with their families, which helped them to afford our program.
  1. We weren't enjoying the business.
We learned an important lesson. That your personal purpose needs to align with your business's mission for you to work through all obstacles. We learned that a business is not easy, it requires a lot of thinking, problem-solving, and hustle. And we are fine with those, but the issue was that coaching international students to help them with employment wasn't the right vehicle for us. To be honest, we didn’t really care, and it seemed like we just wanted money. I think this was the biggest reason why we failed. We weren't getting clients, so we had to figure something out, but since we weren't enjoying the process, we burnt ourselves out, and it just became a chore we had to work on after our full-time job to finish off the day.
So Now:
We now want to start something new, something we are passionate about, something we enjoy even when we're eating shit. And we figured out that it was going to be something related to entrepreneurship. This guy on YouTube, "The Starter Story" Pat Walls, is our big inspiration. So we are thinking of starting a YouTube channel similar to his, sharing stories of different entrepreneurs out there.
But to be honest, we are so stuck. We don’t really know if we are going in the right path. Whether this is all a pipe dream? So I just want to know, or get some tips. How did you guys get started? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks !

Thanks !

2024.05.14 13:42 bunnypandora2016 Your experience with the Nine of Wands.

Hey everyone x
So, without me saying who this person is to me I kept on getting lovey cards for how he feels about me ie Ten of Cups, Two of Cups and Knight of Cups etc but I sometimes pulled the Nine of Wands and I was stumped as he’s never ever been closed of or guarded around me. In fact he’s tried to get to know me on a personal level etc and he seemed a bit besotted with me hence why I started asking away. Recently, something happened where I had to protect my animals from some one and he was there and once I had left he completely had my back and went of on that person verbally and even got their volunteering position revoked. Now, a lot of people say this card is not good in terms of feelings as it represents someone having their walls up and I can see that depending on the person your asking about but am I right in thinking it also means to feel protective of someone? For those who wonder what he did in that situation, he did step in a little bit but his hands were tied due to his role but as soon as that door shut I heard him unleash the beast on that person and completely have my back and talk about how I was just protecting my pets and and he even said to the person in a whispering but shouty tone ‘YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING AND YOU STILL DID IT! I’M NOT STUPID. IT’S YOUR FAULT. HOW DARE YOU DO THAT’ and other things I can’t repeat.

2024.05.14 13:40 inflated_ballsack void is broken and needs a nerf

I don’t know what to say, I don’t want to hear about how it’s too early to tell people say that with every card that’s launched but when has there ever been a time where “let’s wait and see” has ever proven a broken card isn’t actually broken. It just gives supercell another excuse to wait 8 months before nerfing an obviously Overpowered card.
There is basically no adequate counter play to void. I mean if you play 1 elixir skeletons then you basically accept a 2 elixir void and also accept 1 void shot because even with perfect reaction time you can’t tank all void shots.
It counters skeleton army perfectly fine despite being a card that “sucks against swarms”.
Not to mention it does earthquake damage to buildings and rocket damage to single troops. and now it does poison level damage to king towers too.
It’s good at everything except a 3x sort of push. Then void is near useless, but for the most part it’s broken and needs a nerf. thoughts?

2024.05.14 13:37 No-Maize-5008 My Mom is Veraciously Draining

My mom has had some recent issues going on as of late, specifically mental health issues. They’ve been going on since 2022, and I don’t know what to do. My family even says she needs to stop and possibly needs help.
First off, she is exceedingly paranoid. She thinks people want to kill her, thinks someone has a bounty set for her, thinks people are following and watching her, and talks about how she might have to kill someone. In addition to all of that, she thinks my dad is trying to get her killed, and she thinks my dad’s baby mother is trying to get her killed along with my dad’s baby mother’s family. I have not seen my dad in years, and he has no idea where we live. She thinks it’s one big organization conspiring and plotting against her. She also believes my aunt on our side of the family is one of her and my aunt’s daughters. She also believes my step-grandfather is part of "it.”
She thinks airplanes are following her and watching her. I even had a friend last year that she thought was part of it because he shared the same last name as my dad’s baby mother. She claims to have visions and premonitions of what’s going to "happen.” She believes she’s a prophetess and that God chose her as a messenger. She will talk to herself for hours and randomly hit herself repeatedly. She looks out the window 24/7. She is also extremely neglectful, lazy, sleeps all day, and is always on her phone instead of spending just an ounce of time with me. We have almost crashed twice because she was too busy looking at cars that she believed were following.
Anytime we go outside, she will see someone and say they are a private detective or agent. Whenever I try to tell her how I feel about anything or tell her that I am depressed, she gets mad and will eventually tell me to stop talking because people are listening. She doesn’t take me anywhere; she keeps me sheltered and in the house all the time. I was crying and had a panic attack today, and she just stood there watching me, appearing apathetic and lacking remorse. Her first instinct was to turn the bathroom fan on instead of comforting me because once again, “people are listening and the whole building can hear.” She will call our family daily and pay more attention to them and their kids than she does to me.
She slams the door, is childish, and today she literally told me she would buy me something to make me happier. She sent me money, but a while after the money, I cried for some other reason, and she caught me crying, got super pissed, told me, “I swear to God, I’m not buying you anything else,” and told me to send her the money back right now. I asked her, Do I not have a right to feel things? She got quiet and told me she was joking about sending the money back.
We will also miss important appointments for me and she will say it is because I overslept as if she’s not the adult and the parent.
She is very callous to me and will swear at me for the smallest things, and all she does is make up lies about me and say that I am gaslighting her. I ask her how I am gaslighting her because I genuinely want to know how she feels. She gets mad at me and says, forget about. Also, whenever I am okay with her and we cuddle or lay down together, she tries to rock me to sleep like I'm not fucking 15 years old?? She even told me that I was too young to get a job. I honestly don't know what to do. My family isn't any better, and they all suck. All I want to do is leave but obviously I cannot.

2024.05.14 13:34 emotibit Is it possible to modify the sampling rate of data streams on EmotiBit?

Is it possible to modify the sampling rate of data streams on EmotiBit?
Yes! EmotiBit firmware is open source, users can adapt the firmware, including the sampling rate, according to their requirements!
EmotiBit already provides a variant of the default firmware that samples PPG at 100Hz. You can find that variant on our release page. The steps to install custom firmware can be found in our documentation (see Installing custom firmware).
Do note that the sampling rates specified in the firmware variant should match the EmotiBit Oscilloscope settings. You will need to update the ofxOscilloscopeSettings.xml settings file accordingly.
This FAQ further provides some details on how users can adapt the code to alter the sampling rate. Changing the sampling rate of the device, at its core, deals with balancing sensor polling timing and memory constraints.
The EmotiBit Architecture
2 main processes are being run on EmotiBit: Data Collection and Data Sending.
The data collection process is responsible for polling sensors and updating the internal buffers. This process is attached to the ISR (Interrupt Service Routine) and is executed every (1/BASE_SAMPLING_FREQ) seconds. It is crucial to complete polling the sensors and writing internal buffers before another interrupt is generated. In the diagram below. Ts is the time period of the ISR. It defines how frequently the sensors are polled. Tdc represents the time required for completing the data collection process. If sensor polling is not completed within Ts (i.e. Tdc > Ts), it can lead to irregular time stamping and data loss. Tdc largely depends on communication time (time required to communicate with the sensor) and the amount of data being retrieved from the sensor. Every sensor cannot be polled in this short time period so polling offsets are used to query different sensors periodically over multiple ISRs.
EmotiBit data collection and data sending timing diagram
The data sending process is responsible for reading data from internal buffers and processing and sending it to the final destination, transmitted through WiFi and/or written to SD-Card. This process is executed when the processor is not busy with the higher-priority data collection process. One thing to note, is that SD-Card write operations can have irregular write timings because of various processes performed by the SD-Card. It is therefore important to have internal data buffers big enough to accommodate the variance in these write timings. The internal data buffers are also dependent on sensor sampling rates. Having smaller buffers can lead to data losses. Conversely, if the buffers are too large, it can lead to system instability if the MCU runs out of memory during runtime.
EmotiBit has a constellation of sensors and each sensor is initialized with the pre-defined settings (in code) during setup. You can refer to the PPG sensor settings for more details. You will need to update these settings when changing the sampling rates. Please refer to the individual sensor datasheets for more information.
Additional note: ESP32 does offer variable CPU clock speeds. Higher clock speeds can lower the processing times but does increase the power consumption affecting the battery life.

2024.05.14 13:32 Ok_Examination8346 AITA for not telling my friend who i sleep with?

i (18f) have a friend (20m) who is mad at me because i didn't tell him i was sleeping with one of our mutual friends. i will admit when he asks me what i am doing i omit that i am with the guy i will say what i am doing but not who i am with. i always have been a more private person about my sex life, especially if i am not in an actual relationship with the person. i'm not the type to "kiss and tell". he's mad at me for lying to him which i do understand, but i am not sure why it is any of his business. i haven't told ANY of my friends because it is not super relevant but i accidentally let it slip, and he's pissed. is this normal..? aita?

2024.05.14 13:31 Background-Water5358 Aita for returning my birthday gift to mother?

I (44f) returned my birthday gift to my mother yesterday. My mother is narcissistic, toxic, dramatic, manipulative, and cruel. She has treated me like crap my whole life by always putting me last, and I have seen her celebrate other female family members like my cousins or her daughter in laws by spending time with them and being kind to them. She treats me opposite. She refuses to spend any time with me. It’s awful.
Last week, she wanted to take my son out who is 5 to buy his birthday gifts to make sure his clothes fit and his birthday is in June. I refused. I’ve asked her to take me out shopping for shoes, and she says to go to the store, pick them out, and then leave them with the cashier. Then, phone her and she will buy them. Okay. Or to send her what I want. She never does anything with me.
Also, I am plus size. No shame is this. I have lost 60 pounds. She’s aware of this because I told her. Every birthday or holiday, she buys me clothes from the same store for 20 years which she thinks I should wear and they are always too big for me. She buys me shoes and sandals I don’t wear. However, she always buys my husband, my sons, my sister in laws whatever they ask for. For me, it’s never what I ask for or want.
Also, the clothes bothers me because she’s put me on diets since I was 10. I weighed 150 pounds and I was 5’6. She took me to weight watchers and said I was fat. My whole teenage years she had me on diet after diet, going to the gym and having really low self esteem and thinking I was ugly and fat until I met my husband. Her buying me these too big clothes triggers me that she is trying to tell me what I wear isn‘t up to her expectations and makes me feel insecure all other again.
Last week, she asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said I would like money even $20 because I am going on vacation this summer. She said no and she was buying me clothes from the same stores and would include receipts. I told her not to buy them because I wouldn’t wear them. It’s a waste of money. She didn’t listen to me again and bought them.
I gave her flowers on Friday for Mother’s Day with a nice card. This is what she asked for. So, she dropped my gift off yesterday when I wasn’t even home. She never thanked me for the flowers and ignored me on Mother’s Day. I opened the gift and it was clothes that don’t fit and shoes I don’t wear. So, I left the gift at her door with the receipts. No explanation.
I got a phone call last night at ten. She left me a voice mail calling me a disgusting b$tch and she was telling all her sisters I returned the gift. Then, she called me a horrible mother and she would go to cps because my kids don’t know how to talk to her. My preteens don’t want to talk to her. She embarrassed them and my one son sees how she treats me with his own eyes and doesn’t want to be around her. I’m not going to force him. She said I’m ruining her relationships with her daughter in laws. I don’t see them at all- her dils.
So, Aita for leaving the gift at her door with receipts? She said I wouldn’t be getting the $400 back she would get once she returned the gifts which I don’t want obviously.
Extra note: I went through ivf to have my youngest child. She wanted me to do gender selection and she is Catholic. She wanted me to have a girl. I refused. I ended up with my son and when she found out he was a boy she says it was the worst day of her life and she would never accept him. I also started bleeding with him 3 months into the pregnancy and almost lost him. She was shopping with my sil 10 minutes from the doctor. She refused to come and see if I was ok. This one example of how awful she is to me.

2024.05.14 13:30 BrutalBodyShots Credit Myth #11 - Closing a loan will tank your credit.

The impact to a credit score when a loan is closed will vary from profile to profile. Some profiles will see a score drop, some will see no score change at all and some will even see a score increase. The only people that ever post about it though are those that see a score drop, which perpetuates the myth that closing a loan will [always] tank your credit.
It's important to understand WHY a score may change when you close a loan. The scoring algorithm looks at aggregate installment loan utilization, quite similar to how it looks at aggregate revolving utilization. If you have more than one open loan, closing one will result in a change to your aggregate installment loan utilization. Your utilization percentage may stay relatively similar, or it may increase or decrease significantly. How it changes would determine the impact to your score (drop, stay the same, increase). If you have just one open installment loan, when it is closed you lose the benefit of the open loan with respect to the Amounts Owed slice of the Fico pie. It's similar to if you had just one open credit card and closed it; you'd see a score drop there as well due to losing your only available credit of that type.
In the situation where one does see a score drop following the closure of a loan, it's important to understand that you didn't actually lose any points relative to where you started. If your score starts at (say) 725 and you open a loan, as you pay the loan down over time your score may rise to (say) 755 just prior to paying it off. These bonus points are being awarded to you from the Amounts Owed portion of Fico scoring for possessing a significantly paid down loan. When the loan is paid off, those bonus points are eliminated. Your score may drop to (say) 730. That 730 however is still > 725 where you started, so your score didn't actually "tank" as many people put it. Had you never opened the loan in the first place, you would have never had those points to lose.
I use this illustration. A friend gives you $100 at the beginning of the month and tells you that on the last day of the month they'll take the $100 back from you. On the last day of the month they come and do exactly what they said they'd do and take that loaned $100 back. You can't make the argument that you "lost $100" because it was never yours to begin with. You're in no worse position today than you were before the friend loaned you that $100 in the first place. The exact same concept applies to the closure of a loan.

2024.05.14 13:29 No_Emu_8696 Survey site paying +16.80$ per hour, bank and gift card withdrawls, over 600$ made!!!

Ive been using Octopus Group for 2 years now and I can confidently say it is one of the best survey providers in Australia. They pay 16.80$ per hour and above, with my best survey paying 40$ in just 40 minutes. You screen out much less than other sites due to most of the qualification questions being done prior and also provides easy gift card/bank withdrawls. Ive made over 600$ from just doing surveys whenever im bored or just chilling. The only downside really to this is that the surveys can be limited, with the amount avaliable ranging around 1-10 per day however you can easily make quite a bit of money just simply spending 15 minutes doing it everyday.

2024.05.14 13:29 Nostalgia_town [BOATS] Tale of a train journey

It was a winter morning, and I was standing on the railway station of Adityapur, one of Asia’s largest industrial hubs in the outskirts of Jamshedpur, formally known as TATANAGAR, the city known for TATAs & their steel. I updated my current whereabouts to my mother just before boarding the Tata-Gua passenger train, sounding her on my expected time to reach home. I was visiting home after 2 months, the longest interval in the 3.5 years at NIT Jamshedpur due to my business around hosting the first alumni meet of NIT Jamshedpur and a 15-day train travel across India through Jagriti Yatra. I was just carrying my laptop bag as it was a usual 2/3-day trip and I just had my Compaq laptop, a change of clothes & charger to be precise beside my small blue denim wallet & a Samsung smart phone. In 2012, smart phones were just stepping in and my brother-in law was generous enough to lend it to me to take pictures of the places I visit & the events I attend during Jagriti Yatra. Jagriti Yatra is a train ride across India with 600 yatris from different countries, different walks of life who embark on this journey to learn about various social & business enterprise. In that day’s train journey, I was travelling with a batchmate who would get down 2 stations before mine. We’d travel together many times during the four years, and we’d always take the morning train instead of the evening one. It was a passenger train which was always very crowded, and it passed through many small stations in that belt which were dimly lit, these stations were primarily existing to connect industries to the mining towns of Noamundi, Barbil, Jhinkpani and had goods trains plying with iron ore, limestone, cement, so evening trains seemed unsafe for girls travelling alone. Jhinkpani was a small town in that belt with a cement factory, ACC Cements, and a residential township for it. My dad had booked the station trip which was a Maruti Van to ply the resident of the colony from station to the colony which was around 3 kms away & there was no public transport available in this route. I was waiting to board the train all excited to show my parents the pictures of the Yatra clicked on the borrowed smart phone, I’d also met my sister and niece at Visakhapatnam while we visited Akshaya Patra mega kitchen and I remember getting clicked a cute photo of me holding my niece at the station but my excitement was short lived as soon as I kept the phone in the small zipper pocket of my laptop bag. I was modestly dressed in a kurta and leggings, without pockets of-course, pockets are a recent phenomenon in women’s Indian clothing. So, my phone and wallet were always kept in the bag.
As I boarded the train along with around 20 other people from that gate, I felt a sudden force pulling me back, but I managed to steer my way inside but with an eerie feeling, I quickly reached out to check the tiny pocket immediately only to find that both the wallet & the borrowed phone were gone. A shiver ran up my spine and I started to feel numb. There was Rs 200 in cash in that wallet which was a month of pocket money, my SBI ATM card and college i-card. Now, having zero cash, no phone I went about near the gate to see if I can find it, I spoke to couple of people but barely anyone knew Hindi, and it struck me real hard that reaching home was my single motto now. Although scared that I would be scolded by parents for being reckless, I had a sinking feeling as to how would I break this news to my sister & my brother-in-law whose smart phone I’d lost, what would I do about all the lost contacts that I’d woven so meticulously while organizing the alumni meet, what of the memories that I’d captured during the Yatra. My brain started to fizzle with all these entrapping thoughts when my friend shook me to bring me back to the dreaded train which was my reality then and I started planning my next course of action. I first called my mother from my friend’s phone to tell her about the loss, she comforted me and then she informed my dad to arrange a vehicle from the station, the trip was booked but it’d sometimes leave passengers if there are more people than capacity or not turn up due to technical glitch in the age old van that was used. My friend got down at Chaibasa and my heart started racing more as people around me in the train knew my situation and vulnerability and I tried to pose a strong and confident front. The train took more than 20 minutes to travel 17 kms but for me it seemed like ages, the sight of Jhinkpani station never made me so relieved. I quickly deboarded the train, holding on to my bag tightly this time and found a friend waiting there in his Maruti 800. He happened to have met my dad while coming to the station for a personal work and my dad asked him to pick me as well. I finally reached home travelling without a phone and a penny in pocket, my mom was so glad to see me safe and sound. I was taken aback a little to see her overtly calm demeanor at the face of such an adversary and having no concern whatsoever for my lost phone or the wallet. She prayed and thanked God for my safe return and narrated about her dream which she saw about me the previous night. She was very disturbed by it, and she’d been praying from dawn that day for my well-being as the dream was a very bad omen for me. She felt relieved that it was only few items that were lost, and I was completely unharmed. Mother’s love manifests in mysterious ways I thought while gobbling on my favorite sambar, rice that afternoon. Meanwhile, my dad deactivated my ATM card and arranged an old makeshift phone for me to be used in the remaining two months of college. When I sit back to think, I always think about my mother’s reaction and feel relieved that it happened, may be a way to appease myself of the guilt of not thinking through that somebody must have noticed me putting the phone in the small pocket and chanced upon it in the crowd while boarding. To compensate for the loss of phone, I gifted my sister with a digital camera after I started earning 4 months down from this incident. From then on, I never kept anything valuable in such obvious places in public while I maneuvered my ways in Delhi’s metro or the local trains of Mumbai, in the buses of Visakhapatnam or in the streets of Paris. I hold my wallet tight and my phone close.

2024.05.14 13:27 browncurrent importance of mathematics in econ

25M LSE aspirant- is it incredibly important for one to be good at math to study econ, let alone at a prestigious institution like LSE?
all my life I've been very average at math, to say the least. studied advertising in my undergrad, but i developed a keen interest in business studies, eventually surface level economics since the past couple years, majorly compounding to the VC ecosystem
am i thinking too far ahead of myself? or do similar individuals exist?
