The Communist captain gave me a disgusted look, but then I realized it wasn't me that caused him such disgust, but my bride behind me. I closed the comms channel. xenophobic dickhead.
The tractor beam interrupted the functioning of the gravity plates that had been installed in our brand new two hundred year old ship. They were supposed to work without power for at least twenty minutes. I had paid some attention to the briefing on the ship's systems, just not... really good attention, which was regretting Nyany let out yelp of surprise. She hadn't spent months in zero g training. I grabbed her hand and since I was still bolted to the pilot's seat I easily helped her into her seat where she strapped in.
"Thanks," She smiled at me and blinked slowly. "It's been a couple centuries since my zero-g training. Felidians do not do well in zero gravity."
We sat there for a moment holding hands, getting pulled toward the big grey communist warship, watching in silent horror. I squeezed her hand, and she squeezed back.
And then from every speaker in the cockpit, an alarm started to blare.
Torpedo Alert
A high speed flash of red, I'm guessing the torpedo, smashed into the great grey slab. It came from behind and above us, and very very close. The torpedo lodged right in the protruding tractor beam emitter, disabling it before it exploded.
The explosion rocked us backward and shook our relatively small craft.
Another torpedo seemed to come from our ship and hit the communist ship in the open hole the first one made before it too detonated. Then a visible energy shield appeared around the great warship.
We received a hail from... I hoped whoever was shooting torpedoes at the commies, the computer couldn't identify the source.
Much to my surprise when the viewscreen turned on it was Terriphany, she had clearly aged, but it was very much obviously her. I thought only tortoises lived to extreme ages, but what do I know about xenobiology.
"Terriphany, I assume you're the one who turned off that tractor beam for us?" I never expected to be so genuinely glad to see a woman I had been such as ass in front of.
"No time to explain, standby for coupling." There was a clang on our outer hull and her ship coupled to mine on the docking port.
"Captain Davis, Nyany, whoever is flying up there? Those communist humans are only gonna be disabled for so long. Be a dear and start flying us the hell away from here!" She sounded older too, but determined in a way the young woman from the hot tub hadn't.
Nyany grabbed the yoke in the co-pilot's seat and took control, she punched the throttle full forward and we dove away from our attacker. She aimed us toward the Earth, we had dropped out of the RarDrive at the L1 point between the Earth and Moon. My god, the Earth. It was a covered in a thick grey cloud from pole to pole. What happened? It wasn't this bad two hundred years ago.
As I sat there bewildered at the state of my homeworld, the hatch opened and a handful of slightly-more-human-looking-than Terriphany turtle people dropped in. I was at once reminded of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...
"Hi Dad, Nice to meet you." The first one said. He had a thick bundle of cables in his very human looking hand as he leaned over the seat I was in, and popped open the console to quickly plugged it in. "We're good Mom!"
"Standby..." Terriphany talked past Nyany and me to, I guess our son? While she pressed a few commands on her console. "Alright, Nyany, could you aim us where that navicom is suggesting, and then push that big red button for us."
She aimed the ship up from my now grey world, and over the horizon. Nyany looked at me, and I nodded. She hit the button and a Rainbow assaulted us.
"Owww Fuck!" Said the adult turtle-man standing behind me.
"Leonardo, Language!" His mother chided over the intercom. "Now, come help your old mother down into that ship. I want to explain myself to your father."
Nyany and I got out of our seats. When I was on my feet the need to slap myself in the face with both hands. Nope. Awake.
"Are you okay?" Nyany's tail said she was no edge. I could hardly blame her. That was a very wild few seconds, and now we were off again, but with a bunch of turtle-people we'd never met before calling me Dad. I'm on edge too.
"No... who would be okay right now? I'm pretty far from okay." I am honest. "But I think maybe, eventually I'll be okay. It's just... a lot to process. We almost died."
"Well... lets go see what Terriphany has to say." She took my hand and squeezed it, I squeezed back.
And we walked into the back of the ship where Terriphany, my three children with her, and two of my adult grandchildren and one of their spouses were waiting, along with a clutch of eggs that I assume contain my great grand children.
"First things first, we installed a cloak so that no one will be able to find us, at least hopefully. I put all the money I made from Disney paying me to having your children from stored DNA samples into stealth tech research. I took the pinnacle of our designs and destroyed all the research and the entire company a week before we came here to join you. This is your eldest son Leonardo, the second to hatch was Rembrandt, and your only Daughter Sofonisba hatched third. Her children with a human man, Frank, deceased, are Artemisia and Donatello. Artemisia has laid a clutch that she made with her mate, Chelon. Donatello has yet to find a mate, we all hope he can do so in whatever future we find ourselves in."
Everyone waved one at a time and when she was done speaking, I nearly lost my legs. Nyany helped me find a chair. "Get him some water, please."
Sofonisba brought a glass to me. She looks a lot like me, how can a turtle person look so much like me. What the fuck Disney-corp, Captain Tanner, whichever of them was responsible for this... I actually needed to thank. My surprise family had really pulled my ass out of the fire. I splash myself in the face with the glass of water more than I drink it, but I did swallow a little in the process.
"Okay, so that's a lot. I have questions."
Terriphany gestured for me to go ahead. And all the kids found places to sit down themselves too. Nyany stayed standing behind and beside me, her hand on my shoulder.
"So what now? How much did Disney pay you for this? Was there some sort of reality show associated with raising them too? Is Disney even still around? Why are they all named after Earth's renaissance artists?" They came tumbling out faster than they could answer.
"Disney paid Mom plenty." Rembrandt said.
"Turtin' along with Terriphany, yes." Sofonisba said. "It put us all through college. Phd's the lot of us."
"Disney named the first three of us, and we just..." Leonardo sorta trailed off.
"...carried on the tradition afterward, I guess." Sofonisba took responsibility for naming her own children in the same fashion."
Terriphany's tone took a dire note when she answered his only remaining unanswered question. "As for old Disney corp... well, they fully captured the galactic government when they went properly interspecies in their executive level. It's the Disney Way now, not the Milky Way. Humanity on Earth rebelled against Disney rule and after it was deemed the citizens had too much hope to be properly profitable for the company, the planet was bombarded from space. Most of humanity retreated violently from capitalism after the blanketing of earth in that grey fog."
Nyany was smarter than me, she asked a very good question, "So why did they try to take us alive, and not just blast us out of existence while we crawled around the solar system at near light speed?
"Oh, because the RarDrive is a bomb that will wipe out half the solar system in a single massive explosion if it's disengaged early. Old Disney was smart and vicious. This is all in your contract Captain Davis, did you not read any of it?"
"People from my time don't really fully read contracts. Just press accept or sign and assume its fine."
"That explains why the kids are such a surprise to you. I wasn't the only one you know..." She hook her head in disbelief. "The other reason to not explode you, is that you are the richest single person in the galaxy. Captain Tanner invested a small portion of your funds into buying a rather intelligent investment AI to manage your resources, and it smartly paid to upgrade itself. As a result, It the we left your AI and Disney Corp were engaged in galaxy wide commercial and financial warfare, as well as some actual warfare in terms of proxy wards. Half the galaxy thinks of you as a hero, an the other half a villain."
Nyany gave me a little shake and whispered in my ear. "Earlier when I said It was hundreds of years since my Zero-g training, I meant... from my point of view. I'm four hundred and twelve earth years old." I think she realized I hadn't properly read her bio before starting the show, but I had, it said she was twenty seven, which I now realize must have been her planet's years.
"So... now what?" I asked again.
Terriphany smiled in her turtle way, "Well If the rumors are true, then only the living Relic, Captain Davis, In other words, You, my dear baby-daddy, can take command of the AI and give it new instructions. Its current objective is to "maximize profit for Captain Davis" and the main hub will hopefully still be at the star system about two hundred light years away that we're headed to at a turtle's pace. Feel free to take some time to think about what you want to do with that information, but I'll tell you what I think you should do if you want."
"Hit me, Terri."
She smiled, and I could almost see that twenty four year old turtle girl in the hot tub again. God I was such as ass. "I think you should tell it make the star trek future actually happen."
"Yea, I think I will."
A pretty good day later, we smashed through the rainbow above a beautiful blue-green orb.

A reporter drives along a dark twisting road, to a secluded town called Halls Landing tucked away in the Appalachian mountains. He had heard rumors of a local legend about a man who lived in a cabin tucked away deep in the woods. Supposedly, those who visit the cabin come back "twisted", "broken", or "changed" a different word is used for every retelling. Sometimes those who visit are said to never come back at all.
The reporters first stop would be the Due Drop Diner for a quick breakfast. He takes his seat and quickly decides on a cup of black coffee and the classic bacon and eggs. The waitress brings his meal to him. "We don't get many visitors here, what brings you to our neck of the woods?" The waitress, who's name tag read Stacy, asks in a very prominent Appalachian accent. "Well, I'm a reporter." The man answers. "I'm actually here to report on a local legend if you're not to busy." Stacy's face and demineaner suddenly shift. She goes pale and her warm smile and cheary personality fade for a moment to a look of anxiety, before quickly switching back. "I'm sorry but I can't talk right now, I have other tables to get to." She hurries off to one of the two other patrons in the Diner, who were here before he had arrived.
Dispite his strange encounter with the waitress he was determined to find out more about the local legend who driven so far to learn about. Yet, everyone in town seemed to react the same way, either dismissing the topic, changing the subject, or finding some reason to leave. It's as if no one wants talk about it, as if it's a secret.
After deciding that it might be a waste of time, he stops into an old country store, run by an older man he hadn't seen around town much, if at all. After purchasing a few items and turning to leave, the man speaks up. "You're that reporter right? The one the folks are so antsy about?" He turns back to old man, he has long grey hair and a thick beard to match. A pot belly coverd by a white tank top and overalls, and a voice that sounded like he smoked a pack a day sense the age of 6. The reporter replied "Yeah, I just wanted to know about the man who lived in the cabin, tucked back in the woods somewhere. Everyone always acts so dismissive and dodgy." Almost on instinct, the only man replies. "There's an old sawmill at the edge of town, behind it you'll find a walking trail. Head up that trail for about two hours. At the end you'll come to clearing, with what your looking for right there." The reporter, had been writing down what he could and hoped he could remember the rest. "Man, your a life saver thank you so much, you probably just saved my entire trip!" The reporter turns back to leave excitedly, before he can make it to the door, the old man says one more thing. "Just remember son, legends exist for a reason. " The reporter hastely made his way to his car, quickly turning the key and heading to the saw mill.
Something strange he noticed, however, was that everyone he could see, was watching him drive. Stopping any and all activity, just to stare him down as he made his way up the winding road. Men, women, even children. As if trying to force the car off the road.
He parked his car and made his way around the abandoned saw mill, until he found a break in the fence, with a trail leading up the mountain. After a grueling two hour walk up the trail in silence, he found it. A small clearing with an old cabin. The cabin was dark and decrepit compared to surrounding greenery. It looked as if it had been their first centuries, almost completely untouched. Feeling as if his hopes might've been dashed, he slowly makes his way to the front door, still panting from his hike up the mountain. He Knocks on the door, and to his surprise, after a few minutes, the door opens. Standing in the door way looks to be a man in his early 20s. Short, Dark brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue flannel, a pair of jeans, and heavy black boots. All of which look relatively new. The reporter, camcorder in hand, was expecting someone much older than the man that stood before him, and before he could get a word in edgewise. The man flashes a smug grin and speaks. "Let me guess, you want to hear about the man on the mountain." The reporter, having his plans laid bare before him, answers still tired from his hike. "uh yes, I had heard of the legends and thought I'd come see for myself. The towns folk seem pretty reluctant about giving me directions though." The man leans on the doorway, crossing his arms. "Yeah well, you know how it is. Superstition can cause people to act strange and weary, especially around new faces." His grin turned into a more friendly smile. "But where are my manners. The names Dean, and this old cabin was built by my great great great grandfather. He was the man on the mountain you've heard about."
The reporter, as excited as a city boy can be after hiking up hill for two hours straight. Smiles back at the man, excited to learn what this man might know. "Well, what happened? Why are the towns folk so weary of this place?" The reporter asks eagerly, his legs shaking from exhaustion. "The man on the mountain was cruel to say the least. He'd lore people up here, he'd carve weird symbols into their skin, mutilate them, dismember them. Some say he could even twist up someone's soul, change them in ways no one, not even god can fix." There was a moment of silence between them, before the man speaks up again. "Well, you're probably tired from your hike all the way up here. Come inside I'll get you a drink and we can talk more about it." The man steps aside to let the reporter in. The doorway was dark, as if swallowed by some impenetrable void. Regardless, the reporter enters the cabin, the door closes behind them. The lock clicks. The reporter never comes back.

I currently have ghoul v3, and all my other races are v3 or below. I have a mirror fractal and found blue gear already. After I get ghoul to v4, will I need to look for another blue gear for each of the races? Because I want to get Levi shield but don't want to get rid of my mirror fractal if I still need it.

I have blue cross and blue shield that I have been paying for privately since January. I only got it because I was having a baby in March. The hospital bills have came and blue cross has paid their part of it… my question is, can I cancel my insurance now? Will that affect the paid portion of the hospital bill? I truly do not want to keep paying for the insurance and I barely can afford it. But if they can retract their payment to the hospital… then I obviously will keep paying. HELP. I know nothing about insurance!!

I’m so glad this sub exists because I’ve been annoying everyone in my life with my theories about these two … I figured this would be the right place to post my speculation/lyric breakdowns of songs that they may have written about each other, split into different posts for albums for ease of reading.
Starting with Reputation (2017) – I imagine the failed relationship with Matty was still fresh for Taylor during the writing/recording of this album. Her reference to her “longings locked in lowercase inside a vault” definitely made me look back at Rep in a way I hadn’t before (and I do think we’ll see some Matty-coded vault tracks on TV”. That said I don’t want to erase her other relationships, especially with Joe, so I’ll make notes of where I think I’m either stretching for a Matty connection or I think there are multiple muses.
Special mention to “Getaway Car” which feels like another (fictionalized?) response to Robbers but the story she tells is very similar to her fling with Tom, especially given the third man in the song. I usually claim it for the maylors anyway bc who cares about Tom. Let me know what you think.

conclusion: I believe ...Ready For It? is a response to Robbers and reveals M and T's similar romanticism (sometimes toxic but so addicting). The mirrored stylization of ...Ready For It? and Question...? makes me think the latter is a continuation of the former. The mentions of “island breeze” and “we’ll move to an island” have made people believe this song is about Tom Hiddleston but other lyrics, namely “younger than my exes” pretty clearly contradicts that.

I knew what the song was about, I had felt that about someone before and I got to write an episodic, mini movie about the subject"

I am a 26F and currently in a situationship with a 21M that is also a coworker. We met randomly one night while I was going home and he tried to chat me up in the break room. Usually I ignore guys coming onto me, but he stood out and I couldn’t stop thinking about him. We kept running into each other, and even when he would talk to other girls, he would stop and say hi to me. I must add: he is very popular with the girls. Eventually I initiated conversation with him and asked for his instagram, through there I got his number. We went on a date a week later, but I wasn’t sure it was a date because I had just got out of a 8 yr relationship, so when he tried to get near me and invited me to his place, I declined. Fast forward, he stood me up on the 2nd date and another time I tried to just hook up (but I think he didn’t know that’s what I intended). I messaged him shortly after and admitted I didn’t want a relationship because I am not ready for one and I didn’t end my relationship because of him, which it seemed so from his pov. That I am just looking for something physical and he showed interest in that.
A month later, he messaged me out of the blue and he tried to hook up last minute. I declined, but I told him to try again and we started messaging a lot on snap and even exchanged some dirty pics. One day I saw him with another female coworker and felt he saw him looking, but it was because I realized why I was getting dirty looks from that girl. I felt awkward and messaged him later that night saying I’m not jealous and don’t care what he does, I just don’t want it to be awkward with us. He admitted he doesn’t know what I was referring to, and that girl is just a friend. The next day he finally made a date to hook up and followed through. It was a nice experience and we did it twice in one day. We cuddled, chatted, and he bought me some food. When he dropped me off, he said he wanted to do it again and even kissed me to say goodbye. He proceeded to message me everyday and always came up to me at work. He even checked on me when I got injured at work. A week later I set up another day to hook up and he sounds very eager through text. He messaged me through the day, and then cancelled last minute because he still wasn’t feeling well from an intense hangover. I didn’t believe him considering the past experience and didn’t take it too well. The next day at work, I gave him the cold shoulder but realized how unwell he looked. I felt bad and bought him an electrolyte drink to say sorry, and it made him very happy. A few days later I message him and we had a funny conversation about work drama and I explained why I get so nervous around him at work because I don’t want to get him fired if people were to find out the truth (he is in a leadership position). I proceed to tell him about a time my coworker told his best friend (his best friend of 10yrs works with us) that I thought the bf is charming. He left me on read when I told him that, and I called him out on it asking if I said something wrong. He admitted he prefers I keep those compliments to myself because that’s his family, and I thought it was so weird, but told him sorry I crossed that boundary. That same day at work, he saw me from far away and walked straight towards me to say hi and ask how I am doing, despite him having to monitor as a lead.
We stopped messaging as much, and today I messaged him asking if he still wants to be fwb and he said yes. Then I followed up I want to try again since I was so nervous last time, and then he just left me on read…. It’s been a couple of hours, and usually he responds pretty quick after opening messages…. However he has been leaving me on read more often and I am so confused. He is so hot and cold. Am I overthinking? Is he playing games? He is so young. I was fired form my job in February and lost my insurance which was BCBS FEP. Before I lost that insurance, I had some imaging work done for a medical issue that I am dealing with. That imaging work was done in March under BCBS. I officially lost the insurance in April. During this time I had an appointment with a specialist scheduled in May and I figured that would give me enough time to sign up for marketplace insurance. I managed to get signed up with United Health Care Silver Plan at the end of April so I would have insurance ready for my appointment in May. When I was looking for the insurance, I filtered the results to show the specific specialist that I had the appointment for and the hospital/medical center that the specialist works at. Marketplace (Healthcare gov) showed that the doctor and facility were in the network for this plan. I bought the plan and was happy thinking that everything should go smoothly for my upcoming appointment. This is where things start getting confusing. I got a call from the hospital (I believe it was the department of the specialist that I needed to see) saying that the insurance that I have (UHC) will not cover anything at all including initial visit, imaging, surgeries etc. I broke out in an instant sweat. I told her that the marketplace website said that this doctor and facility were in the network. I ended up rescheduling to late June. I keep having to push this appointment back due to the insurance issues. I called UHC to confirm whether the hospital/specialist was showing if they were in the network in their system. They did not really help much. The rep said something along the lines of "A primary care physician needs to send a referral to the specialist and they don't have it in the UHC system. The thing is I had a referral sent which is why I had an appointment to begin with, it was just sent when I was enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP. Basically my question is: WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? Should I file some type of complaint to get the money that I have paid for the plan? What's the point of having a plan that doesen't cover anything. I only went with this plan because of the affordability and the benefits. It has an $1800 deductible and I was pretty sure I will need some surgery. It said on the website that the facility and doctor were in the network. Should I cancel the plan and look for another plan through marketplace? I am currently unemployed and living off savings for now. I really am trying to see a doc soon because my medical issue wont allow me to exercise or exert myself. I know this may sound like I am all over the place but I am needing some advice. Also this is taking place in the state of Alabama. Just looking for some advice on what to do next. My wife has been on sulfasalazine for over a year and recently developed a new flare. Doctor is pushing Entyvio infusions very hard and we are concerned about the cost. We have a high deductible plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC (with HSA).
We’ve registered with EntyvioConnect but haven’t heard anything back yet.
Do we just wait for them to reach out? All we provided was an email address.
Success with copay assistance seems widespread based on my browsing of the subreddit. Anyone been denied that’s on a BCBS plan?
Is it likely l really will just be paying $5 per dose plus administrative cost? If so, we can manage the $250 or so per treatment a few times a year. I think this would put us at about $1K a year out of pocket.
I know I will only get solid answers from actually going through the program but I’m trying to set our minds at ease by collecting input from this community.

The lotus leaf is listed as the greatest cleaning agent known to mankind in wikis and was the religious symbol of countless religions. when dirt is wet and becomes sticky mud it dries caked on and stuck and traps or allows for other air or splashes or spills to sort of stick. nanotech is so much smaller its like a big warehouse of crates having dust settle between them and by wiping and buffing and polishing around you remove some of the dirt hopefully most of it and get it underneath it will go right through and under about anything, got a tarpaulin or umm curtains over the window spray the curtains and unseen fine nanotech SHINES the window beautiful perfect coatings. the thin film is like nonstick frypan stuff but not the teflon stuff its safe diamonds arent teflon so the moisture and dirt wont stick as much and easily clean off or sorta slide down? nanotech like INKS and alcohol dyes (food coloring) or other paint pigment powders and !SOME! clearcoat polishes over a certain hardness rating which are safe for homes as under sapphire 9H or 10H it might be some sort of waste product cheap being sold as something like SCOTCH GUARD which may or may not have those long lasting microplastics which could be tiny serrated or jagged. If something is 9H or 10H diamond or sapphire hardness the few enamels or epoxys that bond that strong are small enough and dense that their structure is so tiny it slips through and under inside things and can reinforce them but doesnt damage round cells in organisms. the same way glass cleaner must be diluted and used everywhere as glass is porous and prehistoric volcanic obsidian glass walking spiders can walk up glass with special microhooks in their feet for the holes in glass look a bit like a golf ball dimples everywhere with tiny hole looks like hair lines through it like imagine those office ceiling panels with the holes in white particle board. So glass cleaner cleans out the gunk or else your windows will have a brownness you struggle to clean out of the glass without a deep penetrating cleaning agent that comes out looking a bit like brown river water thats discolored from the porous rocks in the water having umm tiny microorganisms yep rivers of brown. So a tiny drop of glass cleaner or a couple drops in a spray bottle or a bucket of water and maybe some one or two drops hydrophobic glass coating or quickpaint coat and a tiny drop or two or a single spray of PLASTIC AND LEATHER RESTORER
with these drops of stuff in water in a spray bottle or bucket you maybe wanna find something with a high % percentage of surfactants on the back of the detergent/soap bottle to wipe out germs and uhh its the cleaning component in all bubbling detergents the sort of science and cleaning and germ killing powers of it. Some floor cleaners made for timber floors that might be a little streaky and say like a polish or cure or something that maybe gives timber a little bit of a darker look when used regularly and appears subtly more expensive looking like hardwood but isnt carbonizing its a type of cellular structure bonding that reinforces not prehistoric torture the wood into looking blowtorched carbon stuff chemicals its a cleaning product disenfectant that protects and polishes but it needs some sprays of water then a spray or a few drops then buff it in and then dust mop it dry as its got some mild ANTISTATIC which helps lift up dust.. i found one that cleans like magic at my asian supermarkets but im not recommending specific brands over the other its the science of cleaning. then maybe put in a couple drops or up to a teaspoon of 10H hardness and like spray your laundry on the line or your carpet or whatever.. i do everything.. some products not 9H or greater will use some unsafe superglues which ignite cotton fabrics into flames or other things.. now house construction products like liquid nails brown glue for holding timber together might have a clear version called liquid glass that might be for window glazing or whatever i hadnt checked if its safe to use on fabrics and other surfaces the POINT of it is the NAME might say liquid glass but its maybe not silicon dioxide that the florist uses to keep their plants fresh for 2 weeks longer liquid glass as in THAT liquid glass like on your phones nanotech liquid screen protector you apply several coats of one each day then reapply every 8 months the cheap stuff.. some of the auto ones for cars can last 9 or 10 years. i found lots of bargain store looking products of sites like aliexpress or maybe amazon with brands like glassxkare or fantastic XML and adams polishes for tiny vials of 50ml or less of 10H hardness affordable or fantastic XML for like a big 500ML 9H hardness spray bottle that when sprayed into a spray bottle of water and glass cleaner and a drop of hydrophobic coating and plastic and leather restorer and a tiny drop of timber floor polish cleaner that may or may not make it a tiny bit streaky or splotchy the hydrophobic coatings may also be too hydrophobic you can tell if your spray bottle wont suck up water because the water cant enter the tube but if you spray a couple spray bottles of such tiny drops the nozzle will clog and not spray anymore.. nanocoatings can be tricky i dunno what to do. if its scratch protect films make it streaky and require buffing power tools and youre not loud big tools like me maybe aim it at carpets and couches rather than windows and do those without the floor polish. I've found no sort of uhh possible forseeable reasons for any health issues and my stuff looks and FEELS amazingly better, i think bathroom toilets or tiles or shower and tap fixtures or.. walls and floors and furniture and clothes.. i think id only not try spraying my drinking cups and cutlery but i honestly think i might need to drink the stuff its THAT GOOD. my cats LOVE IT! its kinda scary awesome.. i tried brands of plastic and leather restorer and quick paint coat and hydrophobic glass coating from HGKJ black and green labels. I couldnt tell you how safe it is, i just struggled as im a disability pensioner and saw our really old house falling apart and this damn near reversed a few decades off it and brand new snow clothing and jackets and throw rugs i bought felt BETTER THAN NEW i mean ridiculously better than new. ancient poisons used to clean HALF as good and were feared for being too good and too cheap. But diamonds and liquid diamond are naturally occuring hot springs reactions and the reason monkeys stay in there. its literally pretty much good for all life.
(plastic and leather restorer see leather deep conditioner but better and sorta similar to glass cleaner but a sort of UV protect oil and reinforce that adds the rich deep black color back to PU leathers and those vinyl anime girl figures yellowing from the sunlight and UV will becomes their original selves again or old yellowy car headlight covers get fixed up but so do most paints and timbers and other things. but you wanna seal it in with a nano coating when cleaning it out plastic and leather restorer is used in plastic manufacture and when you peel those clear plastic film stickers off shiny new products they help prevent its slow gradual evapouration and why they look so nice and black and arent just to prevent scratches. several days later plastic and leather restorers super shiny rich deep 'wet hair look for your black pleather chair' will seem to have worn off but its UV protect and other things will still be there and some polishes waxes or coatings can help keep it and its colors and UV protect there a bit longer well the look the restorer itself keeps it like how it was quite a while years? till it goes yellowy or faded again.)
So when we look at the water beading on lotus/lily pad leaves and things, ancient people used saps and old polishes and obsidian blades arrowheads since dinosaurs era. which with 200 times sharper than steel knives carbon nanotech its super dangerous deadly and was mostly all used up and we swapped it all out for modern glasses and glazing and safety glass so we dont slice our selves into piles of body parts on invisible pieces. Since the days of ink and whetstone nanotech advanced impossibly high particularly in volcanic hot springs countrys with samurai swords and caligraphy brush ink. Trying to find the scientifically safest and best possible cleaning products super affordably that might be useful for washing clothes, cars, metals plastics and other things.. are strangely not at the home hardware stores.. you see synthetic diamonds been on the gem market for centuries but too expensive to produce till modern different approaches with lasers and different gas precipitation with super high electricity concentrated over weeks or months or special electrolosys solutions will slowly layer and create diamonds but the diamond solution precipitated that grouped to each other or doesnt perfectly slot into the sort of tetris like bonds of the outer layers of the diamond a bit like diamond growth needs spaghetti O's and we're raining alphabet soup at it till with a bout 30% of the letters having a good chance of sticking. every few hours the solution of sublimation precipitate is swapped out creating a couple oven trays of 'liquid diamond solution' 10H hardness brightness and shines up glass with a thin film of diamond giving it moisture modest water resist we can use graphene to increase water resist and 10H+ hardness and apply hydrophobic coatings.. So who makes lots of these liquid finishes and what are they used for? Most are produced by a car race track owner who insists they protect their cars before taking them out onto the track or a speck of dirt or sand might scratch up the paint. But if i wanted to like power pressure washer spray it up onto my roof tiles and thin out some of that lichen and make them more uhh watertight leaks arent a concern but it might prevent a terrible future. anybody know why its not already a thing and there isnt countless guides on the ideal ratios and stuff? i mean its about as expensive as laundry detergent concentrate and used to be in most of those still is in some developed countries.. its what makes american movie sets look so umm bright and shiny and polished and awesome and makes mansions look like mansions or wealthy look and feel and its where LUXURY COMES FROM. is my cheap poor persons attempt at cleaning my own home not good? even if its mildly bad i think i'd use it forever. ESPECIALLY on things like 100% bamboo bed sheets i bought cheap ones from an australian online retailer and a few coatings of sprays and they felt and looked so dang shiny and awesome. Some bottles of the stuff claim 6 drops coats the car but remember many are diluted or not full strength or dont last long as advertised or a big bottle 500ML might be 3months to a year.. rather than tiny medicine bottle 50ml or 30ml sized 3-5 years most i guess, you need to keep applying a coat very often but having it not be streaky or buffing it in is tough so i maybe shaved years off its coating and thinned it out and just apply a bunch of coats as often product claims 9H its only a tiny % the whole spray bottle and needs many many applications to approach that but it is POSSIBLE theoretically. remember all glass cleaner is blue colored so when you dilute it with water you shouldnt have it fully color the water too much or its TOO STRONG. 80s people cleaned 80s glazing which maybe radium or lead tincture as radiation blocking films were often lead or radiation lined literally as a radiation shield was a.. film of radiation so it lasted years and needed double or triple glazing for expensive high rise buildings and cleaning heaps of smoky 80s glass dredged out horror mud floods of brown sludge that got them accused of dirtying things, though 80s squeegee thingys are really bad unless you reverse them and press down on a microfibre cloth with them for good even pressuer and a nice streak free clean using the back black rubber blade part to make a thin line of glass cleaning cloth good contact i previously saw reverse squeegee you mount cleaning cloths into specifically but searching i cant find to buy it when i tested it out at home with a squeegee that doesnt clip in like that. are there special tools you guys use? whats the secret? also the purple ceramic graphene ones seem awesome but maybe arent quite close to 9H either.. the bright shine of 10H or 10H+ on tiles and glass.. when apply hydrophobic it looks like zero application of anything somehow its gone for days. does anyone have a more ideal ratios specific or specific active ingredient amounts by weight or dilute with stuff that isnt water to help it keep its years of coating? does using a power washer make it not last? or last longer? or apply streaky splotchy? if its splotchy would more coats over weeks get it all consistent?
the liquid diamond stuff is in many countrys water or whatever.. but uhh concerns about silicosis maybe arent a thing at all if you cough it feels like its cleaning your lungs not harming them. Silicosis happens when criminal retards enter a sandblasting sealed room containment to steal the literally raw materials from factories or whatever or they use water cutting and sand blasting and CNC machines and sharpening blades constantly without sealed enclosure vacuum air scrubber filters. thats what wrecks those benchtop workers also they maybe mixing or breathing wrong epoxys and resins or dont seal them with the correct sealants and polishes and finishes.

Full DISCLAIMER that I have not read any of these series. They have been bought either new or used and have been sitting on my bookcases this whole time. There is varying degrees of yellowing from series to series and volume to volume. Most have some degree of normal shelf wear. There may be ripped/marked pages or even missing pages (although I doubt it as most of the volumes as you’ll see in the pictures are in overall good to great condition).
They have been kept away from sunlight (blackout curtains on the bookcases) and my apartment is a non-smoking apartment.

Started with 75 blue tilapia fingerlings almost a year ago. Five died over the first couple of weeks and then everything was stable until about four weeks ago. Fish grew, plants grew, water chemistry remained stable.
Then, we started seeing tilapia die off, some with visible lesions. Water chemistry was unchanged. Tried the following over the next days and weeks:

• Stopped all feeding for a few days to see if that would have any effect
• Next two 50% water exchanges over a period of a week
• Then an antibiotic water treatment I found at a pond store
• Pulled many of the plants from the beds in case there was a pocket of anaerobic bacteria somewhere or rotting roots
• Also pulled the pipes for the bell siphons and cleaned out any debris (some roots from vegetation we'd grown in the beds and small bits of leca)
• Sprayed the surface of the leca with 3% hydrogen peroxide several times
• Most recently tried Fritz Bacter Shield

The die-off has gotten much better, going from a high of losing four fish in one day to one fish per week, but I'm not sure what else to try now. Water chemistry remains good. I don't know of any water testing companies that could diagnose micro-organisms in the water. I tried finding a veterinarian who dealt with fish but there isn't one in my state.
Some of the tilapia who died have lesions or "blushing" that could be bacterial, but could also be parasitic or viral. I don't know tilapia enough to recognize the difference, and what I've read on other sites seems inconclusive. Other tilapia died without anything visibly wrong.
I'd appreciate any help from the community. I'd love to know what I've done wrong or am doing wrong and fix it before I lose many more.

Hey,
I have an interview tommorow for a fast-casual style restaurant in Florida (US), in a customer-facing position.
What should I wear to the interview? - Jeans and a blue t-shirt (well fitting), - jeans and button down plad shirt, or - khakis and a button down plad shirt?
Any other recommendations welcome. It's my first time interviewing for a fast-casual restaurant, so I'm not completely sure.
