im trying to find the diagram for the specific speedo ik most functions wont work but some will just have no idea what wires are what

2023.05.17 07:33 PersonalityPitiful23 Tomos Streetmate turn signal stays on all the time.

The left rear turn signal on my Tomos Streetmate says illuminated whenever the engine is running. I checked the leads with a multimeter and they were fluctuating between ~1.2 to ~3.4 volts.
Does anyone here have an idea as far as what this could be?

My left turn signal stays on whenever the bike is running, both front and rear. Right signal is fine. I don’t think it would be the flasher… I’m thinking a bad ground somewhere, but I’m not sure where to look. Thanks for any help

First time posting. Had a question that hopefully this community could help me with.
Very interested in buying a moped for work/personal use. Do a ton of driving, mostly short distances. Longest would be a 15-20 mile drive from my house. Never owned or drove a motorcycle before.
There is a 2007 Tomos streetmate for sale in my area. They are asking 1800 for it. Has performance mods, 80cc big bore kit, MaySpare Racing Carburetor, techno exhaust bullet performance pipe. its a 2 stroke, so you have to mix. When the current owners got this it wasn’t running, they rebuilt the whole engine and it only has about 150-200 miles on it. everything runs perfectly smooth (so they say). I believe it pushes 55. however it has a dent/ crack and a hole in the storage tank, due to original owner.
Is this something that’s reasonably priced and a good starter bike? Would love any feedback.

2022.08.13 03:00 bgus5028 2010 Tomos Streetmate dies with throttle

I got this bike pre owned. The previous owner said that he did a 70cc mod and it ran great when he had it. It sat for about a year until I got it. The bike ran great except it wouldn't idle well. But would never stall/die. After I cleaned the carb and replaced the air filter, I can get the bike to start every single time but as soon as I touch the throttle it dies. Sometimes I can get it to rev 200ft down the road but then dies shortly after every time.
I have:
replaced air filter
replaced fuel line/fuel filter
replaced spark plug
adjusted idle and fuel/air screws to default and tried to fiddle with them with no luck
cleaned the carb literally 25 times
One thing to mention - the first time I cleaned the carb i screwed the throttle cable in backwards so maybe i fucked up the cable/needle?
Possible fixes:
new carb
new float bowl
new throttle cable
Any help would be appreciated
Its a dellorto PHVA 14 DD carb

2022.07.03 01:43 idkidk82 Need help with A55

My 2008 Tomos Streetmate R has recently not been going as fast. It has a biturbo and stock cylinder head. I just changed the transmission fluid and worked on the plug but it still isnt going as fast. Just a few days ago it was hitting 40 and now its barely reaching 35. Any advice?

The previous owner sold me his Tomos streetmate with many mods included (exhaust, 70cc kit and carb). The moped is still very cherry (2000 kms) (~1200 miles). Should install the kit now or when I need a rebuild?

So, this is much newer than my garellis, and I feel dumb. Can't get it to stay running. It will idle fine. But as soon as you start to get going it'll sputter and die. Can you just bypass the oil oil tank and use premix in the gas tank? What's going on here lol. It's a 300 mile bike. Beautiful condition, ready to start riding it.

Hello, so i've been working on slowly my 08 streetmate, after jetting, new pipe and a lower 26x28 gearing, i still have 25-30 limit on my mph according to the tomos speedometer and seems accurate enough. working with the discord server and some guides, the cdi box for a55 are restricted as well? can't find any concrete infomation as some people dont have issues going 35+ with stock gearing and exhausts.
