I recently bought a Wyse5070 extended for quite cheap, with the initial goal to make it into a replacement router. However, I have since realized that I am not quite ready to go down that rabbit hole, and that some storage is much more pressing.
I have now spent many hours searching and reading about this, but I am not getting much clarity and thought I would ask here.
To set the scene:

I have about 400GB of documents/data I care about and would like to secure.
In terms of services, I am thinking about Paperless ngx, Immich, calibre-web via docker.
For documents, I am unsure whether I want to run NextCloud, Seafile, or just direct access once it is a "NAS", but that is tbd for now.
No short-term plans for media hosting/ streaming, but I am sure it will come at some point (earliest next year).
I have only 1G networking currently, and don't need crazy speeds at this point.
Due to energy prices idle power efficiency is important.
I am thinking about daily backups to backblaze, hetzner, or similar.

Basically, I would like to set up a small, power-efficient box with a few services, that keeps my data organized and save.
What I am now struggling with is how to get some storage space. From my research I can see a few options 1. Get 2 large SSDs (one via standard M2 SATA, one via wifi-slot adapter), and mirror them, using the built-in eMMC for boot/OS. + Easy, quiet, power efficient - Costly to get even 2TB drives (about 100£ each) 2. Get a large(ish) SSD for caching and plug in some USB drives (either multiple individual ones or USB multi-bay enclosure) + Easy and cheap - Low transfer speed, USB slightly less stable interface - Does not seem great, but can't quite say why. 3. Inspired by this, and this update, I could get an LSI HAB, perhaps like LSI SAS 3442 or LSI 9205-8e, and attach drives there, still with an M2 SATA SSD for caching (I think). + Should be robust, reasonably cheap - The posts above make me think that this will a quite complicated, with lots of worries about heat and power supply. - Unclear if the cards linked are actually compatible with the Wyse. 4. "Give up" and buy/ build another device, i.e. a HP Microserver, or board, case, etc separately.
I am leaning towards option 3, but even after a lot of search I am unsure how to start planning/ selecting components. Does it make sense to start with option 1 and smaller (1TB) drives to get started and set-up, and later add the HBA?
I would be very grateful for any comments or advice, and will happily update once I get "something" set up.

Installing Pokémon Masters

Pokémon Masters is available worldwide except for Belgium and The Netherlands due to bans on loot boxes.

Reroll Guide

Reroll means that you make a new account and look at what you got from your scout. If you don't like your first few multi-pulls, you delete the account and create a new one again and so on until you are satisfied.

Why reroll?

You're a new or returning player and you want to get your hands on meta Sync Pairs for easier clears.
A favourite/meta Sync Pair has been released and you want to get him/her no matter what.

How to Reroll?
If you're an existing player, delete your local data or cache first. Otherwise, do not link your account to Nintendo. Doing so will bind your Pokémon Masters account to your Nintendo profile permanently and can no longer be removed.
As of now, if you progress up to the point when co-op mode is unlocked, you can get at least 21.000 gems, the equivalent of 7 multis, earning at least 231/400 scout points (33 scout points per multi scout), allowing you to scout at least 77 Sync Pairs. Completing the following checkpoints will let you receive gems as completion rewards:

If you are not satisfied with your pulls, click on the Poryphone at the right-bottom corner in the Pokémon Center -> Account -> Delete Save Data. Repeat the above steps until you pulled the Sync Pair you want.
Now that you're ready to go on an adventure, link your account through Poryphone Menu by tapping "Account", then "Link a Nintendo Account" to save your progress. After that, try to get any free Sync Pairs as you progress:

Professor Oak & Mew: Complete his Sync Pair story and finish the bingo missions from Professor Oak & Mew Special Missions.
Rosa & Serperior: Complete all bingo missions from "Rise to 6★ EX with Rosa!" and upgrade her to 6★ EX.
Legendary Event Sync Pairs: Obtainable via Legendary Adventures. Reach the end of story to obtain the legendary Sync Pair, character-exclusive 5★ promotion tickets and event vouchers. Try to upgrade them to 5/5 20/20 as soon as possible and invest in their Sync Grids; they will be valuable assets for content clearing. Do note that exclusive materials such as Champion Spirit and Sync Grid expansion for these Sync Pair are only obtainable in event reruns, and hence event-limited.

EX Gear Type Chart

Note that these co-op stages only drop 2★ Gear as the highest rarity for their corresponding Gear Type. 3★ Gear is restricted to Type Gear Events and Pokémon Masters Day every month, and it can be obtained in the time-limited event shop and in the General tab in exchange for 3★ gear material co-op stage drops.

2 Why hasn't my Pokemon evolved? It's at Level [X]!
Evolution requires an evolution item available in the Training Area (Evolution Material Area). Upon earning the Evolution Materials, you need to go to the Sync Pair Stories to trigger the Evolution Story.
3. Should I save to do 11 multi-scouts instead of single scouts?
You can now get x11 units instead of 10, so yes, but we strongly recommend you to save gems for Poké Fair or Master Fair banners (which has a higher rate for 5★ characters).
4. How many gems are required to receive a Sync Pair of my choice?
36.600 non-paid gems (or 36.300 gems + 100 paid gems for a daily single pull), which is the equivalent of 400 scout points. Scout points do not carry over between banners.
5. What does [X]/5, [Y]/20, etc mean?
When you obtain a Sync Pair, they're at 1/5 Sync Move level. Rolling a dupe of that Sync Pair, or using a Move Candy will increase it by 1 level. 3/5 is the minimum for most sync pairs to complete their full Sync Grid, but some Poké Fairs have grid expansions that require their Sync Move to be completely maxed out at 5/5 for their full Sync Grid.
At the same time, Sync Pairs are at 0/20 Potential when they're just obtained. Giving Sync Pairs Powerups will raise their Potential and stats. When a Sync Pair is given 20 powerups, their star level will be increased. Getting a unit to 5★ 20/20 is mandatory for it to further upgrade to 6★ EX (if it has one).
6. How do I Unlock The Level cap of my units?
Training Area (Cap Unlock Area), (Cap Unlock Area 2), Exchange in the shop, Events.
7. Where do I get the manuals to level up my sync pairs?
Training Area (Level up Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, random drops in Trainer Lodge.
8. How do I get Sync orbs?
Training Area (Sync orb Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, Champion Stadium Master Mode (6K & 7.5K), random drops in Trainer Lodge.
9. What are Theme Skill and how do I get items to power them up?
Theme Skill is a new ability that raises the stats of your Sync Pairs if any of them has a common position, type, region, trainer group, or other features with another pair (or pairs) in the same team. Skill Spheres, which can be obtained in Theme Skill area and Champion Stadium Master Mode, are required to upgrade them.
10. What Lucky Skill should I roll for [X]? How do I get Lucky Cookies and Scrolls to unlock a Sync Pair's Lucky Skill?
Refer to Sync Grid Builds & Lucky Skills (by u/MomoSpark) for more details.
In general, the choices of Lucky Skills follow the roles of Sync Pairs:

Strike:
- Critical Strike 2 (3★ Crunchy)
- Weathered Warrior 3 (3★ Deluxe) if used exclusively in weather
  - Boosts the damage of attack moves and sync moves but not max moves
Support:
- Vigilance (3★ Creamy), unless the Sync Pair already has Vigilance in their kit
- Head Start 1 or Adrenaline 1 (both 3★ Deluxe) for -3 sync countdown acceleration
Tech:
- Refer to Strike if the Sync Pair's kit is Strike-based (e.g. Marnie & Morpeko, May & Swampert, P Serena & Whimsicott, etc.)
- Refer to Support if the Sync Pair's kit is a tanker and/or a healer (e.g. Prof Oak & Mew, SS Leaf & Venusaur, etc.)
- Head Start 1 or Adrenaline 1 (both 3★ Deluxe) for -3 sync countdown acceleration
Sprint:
- Head Start 1 or Adrenaline 1 (both 3★ Deluxe) for -3 sync countdown acceleration
- Refer to Strike if the Sync Pair's kit is Strike-based (e.g. Nemona & Pawmot, Paulo & Lycanroc Dusk, etc.)
Field:
- Refer to Strike if the Sync Pair's kit is Strike-based (e.g. Victor & Spectrier, Variety Giovanni & Rhydon, etc.)

There are exceptions to some Sync Pairs. For example,

Iris & Haxorous favours Lessen Confusion 9 (2★ Crispy) to increase DPS under confusion with Confusion Boon 5 in grid.
Serena & Delphox and most other sleep-inducing units favour Troublemaker 1 (3★ Crunchy) to increase the accuracy of sleep-inducing status moves.
Zinnia & Rayquaza can go for either Dauntless (3★ Creamy) to mitigate SP ATK debuffs after each use of Draco Meteor, or Weathered Warrior 3 (3★ Deluxe) to stack with her weather-based multipliers.

Lucky Cookies and Lucky Scrolls can all be obtained in Battle Villa (Single Player & Co-op), Blissful Bonanza, and Legendary Gauntlet. Legendary Gauntlet can provide unlimited 3★ Lucky Cookies as well as Deluxe Cookies exclusive to that mode after each successful stage clear, and their drop chance increases with longer win streaks.
11. What are the Sync Move effects of 6★ EX Sync Pairs of different roles? Who should I promote to 6★ EX first?
Each role gives different effects to Sync Moves when upgraded to 6★ EX.

Strike: Sync Move becomes AoE. (Its power is not reduced against multiple targets.)
Support: Sync Move raises sync buff by +2 instead of +1 when it is used for the first time. (Each sync buff increases damage output by 50%.)
Tech: Sync Move power x1.5
Sprint: Sync Move reduces the user's sync move countdown by 3.
Field: Sync Move applies a field effect before dealing damage and extends its duration by 50%.

Support is usually prioritized for promotion to 6★ EX because its EX effect effectively doubles the damage of all allied sync pairs after first sync and is more widely applicable across most game modes, and the increased stats from raising the support's Potential greatly enhances its bulk to tank stages.
For Strike, if its kit has a very high DPS (e.g. SS Red & Charizard, Diantha & Gardevoir, etc.), or includes a powerful Sync multiplier (e.g. Steven & Metagross's Haymaker, Barry & Empoleon's Inertia, etc.), you are highly recommended to upgrade it to 6★ EX to apply the damage to all opponents. This applies to Tech as well, but only if the unit is a Sync nuker (e.g. Marnie & Morpeko, May & Swampert, etc.).
Since Field applies a field effect that can boost its own damage and potentially that of its allies as well, upgrading it to 6★ EX is also recommended. Sprint enables faster sync buffs and usually come with innate Sync Move multipliers like Tech, but its EX effect does not improve damage as directly as the other roles.
Promoting Support-type units to 6★ EX is not a must, but it's always an added bonus, especially if their Sync Move can provide any additional effects via passive or grid skills.
Always remember to upgrade Rosa to 6★ EX because the materials are obtainable for free.
12. Which Sync Pair should I use my candy on?
Refer to Which Sync Pair Should You Give Your Candy To? (Infographic) (by u/MuddyDummy) for more details.
Always save your candies unless the Sync Pair is exclusive to Seasonals, Poké Fairs or Master Fairs. Most Sync Pairs are usable at 1/5. You can always "accidentally" pull the unit you've been looking for from the normal pool, but you never know when limited Sync Pairs will rerun again. This may not apply to Sync Pairs that are your favorite.

Error 20103 — Please check your connection and try again: Usually caused due to lack of connection or sudden disconnection. Try playing the game in a place with more stable connection.
Error 10102 — An error has occurred. Restarting the game: This error is often triggered because it detects your phone is rooted, or that you are using external applications which allows opening multiple accounts on the same device. For rooted phone users, make sure you hide your rooted status.
Game crashed mid-battle: Restart the app and clear your cache. This option is available in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.
Does Pokémon Masters work on emulators? No. As of now, PM is not compatible with any of the emulators (including Bluestacks, Nox, etc.) However, playing two accounts on the same device is possible on Android by cloning with Island.

Those browsers are not in the Applications folder, I've no clue where else to look.
This may have been caused by my automation projects which use those browsers for testing, although I've already moved them off of my mac, performed a restart, and they're still there.

Its a funny but interesting site documenting the different types of people that exist on internet message boards or social media places. The problem is that the site was created about 20 years ago now, so its fairly outdated. Over the last 20 years, many new words, phrases and terminologies have been created, or old names have been replaced with new names. Ive comprised a list of my own observations, and if you decide to read them, you will obviously realise that i was thinking of certain people when i wrote them lol. Here they are.......
Ad Hominem
Ad Hominem is an unwise, but yet a loud and effective warrior. Ad Hominem can rarely respond to debates and arguments with well thought up counter arguments, they just rely on name calling instead, like bigot, racist, misogynist, fascist, homophobe and transphobe. Sometimes Ad Hominem is able to rally up a dogpile against their adversary, and thats when and only when they're a dangerous warrior. Ad Hominem is usually either a far left wing person, a woke person or a militant feminist
Bent moderator
The only time Bent Moderator is not a short lived warrior, is when the place is run by a Bent Admin. Bent Moderator has their own list (in their head) of what people they like, and what people they dont like (usually based upon the person’s political and social stances). As you can obviously guess, Bent Moderator is a very villainous but powerful warrior, as they can use their moderator powers totally to their advantage. They can nuke any thread as and when they like, and they can suspend anyone as and when they like. Bent Moderator is very inconsistent with the sites rules, they will let those they like get away with murder, but will suspend those they dont like the very second they say boo to a goose. Bent moderators days only become numbered when the sites Admin becomes replaced, or the site is closed entirely.
Cloak & Dagger Moderator
Cloak & Dagger moderator is Bent Moderator in disguise, with a sock puppet account. Bent Moderator will sometimes become so petty and so overzealous, that they will use a sock puppet account of theirs where they will pretend to be a regular user (non moderator). They will use this sock puppet account to bait another warrior into breaking the sites rules, and then when they have, they will log back in again with their moderator account and issue a suspension on their adversary.
Elitist
Elitist is an incredibly snooty, arrogant and egotistical warrior. They have perfected the art of putting themselves on a pedal stall, like they are the ultimate authority on the interest that they are passionate about (i.e. music, sports, movies or politics). Elitist believes that they are the ultimate know it all, the be all end all, and it should be them you should always go to, like they are a Wikipedia on legs.
Elitist does sometimes get validated by the other regular warriors, which ultimately of course is not for the greater good.
Im Always Right (or Last Word)
As you can guess, Im Always Right never concedes that their opponent has a valid point that is as good or better than their own. Im Always Right is a mighty (but stubborn) warrior of attrition. Im Always Right always has to have the last word, their tiny precious little ego just will not comprehend that sometimes…..sometimes….they are wrong and someone else is right. Im Always Right will debate and argue until their dying breath (if need be). They only win because their opponent throws in the towel. But on occasions when Im Always Right appears as if they are coming off 2nd best, then they will resort to changing positions of the goal posts, backpeddling or just plain make excuses for themselves.
Militant Vegan
Militant Vegan is a very strong warrior, considering that they have made it be their lives to keep debating the validity of their ethical lifestyle to others, and de-validating the ethical lifestyle of non vegans. Me Too
Me Too deserves their own separate entry, as opposed to Big Dog & Me Too. Me Too’s are aggressive warriors, but relatively weak warriors (their replies rarely consist of more than 2 lines of text). Me Too’s are only effective when they allie themselves with Big Dog, or they join in with a dogpile.
The Dogpile (instead of The Swarm)
Mike Reed originally named this “The Swarm”, but message board mob mentality is now officially known as “dogpiling”. As it is relatively common for message boards these days to consist of a large congregation of like minded people who like surrounding themselves in echo chambers, dogpiles usually occur when a loan warrior comes along and expresses a thought or view that goes against the grain (the accepted view). The Dogpile is all about strength in numbers (like 10 plus ppl vs 1 person), and The Dogpile serves itself as a form of gaslighting, that can make the loan warrior end up believing that what they said was either very invalid, very stupid or highly offensive. Dogpiles usually largely consist of Me Too’s. Taking on a dogpile is nearly always futile.
The Flouncer (or The Resigner)
The Flouncer is not among the strongest of warriors. When The Flouncer gets too overwhelmed or feels the good fight is not worth fighting anymore, they will rely on a final swan song (so to speak). They will announce that they are leaving the message board/chat room and that they are never coming back. The Flouncer expects this to be met with much sympathy, and plea’s of “no please dont leave”, but it’s more likely to be met with masses of ridicule. The Flouncer usually returns within 1 or 2 weeks, claiming they had a change of heart, or decided they wernt going to let their adversaries win.
The Google Debater
Google Debater is a warrior that has it in their head that if they can find a website page (through a Google search of course) that looks authoritative and backs up a narrative of theirs on any given subject, that it equals, they have substance that objectively proves them right. Google Debater however does not recognise the logical fallacy with this (like Appeal To Authority), where mightier warriors will call him/her out on for. It is possible to find a web page on the internet that will back up almost any narrative there can be
The Obsessive
The Obsessive, is a warrior that must have an enemy, preferably a perpetual enemy. Its the only reason they come onto the internet for. The Obsessive will make their chosen enemy live rent free in their head, and they will spend all their free time (which is lots of it) obsessing over this enemy. Going out of their way to find out all internet activity the person has done, what other social media platforms the person is on, and they will use these learned informations to try to have as much of a detriment on the persons real life as much as possible. Whether it be doxxing them, trying to get them fired from their real life job, or even swatting the person. Obsessives are mentally unhealthy (even mentally unwell), dangerous and an overzealous warrior of attrition.
The Snowflakey Terminator
The Snowflakey Terminator both sadly and unfortunately is a very common weak warrior nowadays. There are plenty of snowflakes on the internet these days, but The Snowflakey Terminator will use the report and flagging functions on any social media place as their own private weapon. Whenever they see a view or opinion on any social media place (whether it be a text post or a video) that they dont agree with or it hurts their feelings, they will do whatever they can to get the post or video removed, like they think “it hurts my feelings” or “well i dont agree with it” is a valid reason for the removal. Very often The Snowflakey Terminator will get their way, and will always go unpunished, whether they win or lose. Despite the name, The Snowflakey Terminator is a weak warrior, because they can only ever win by getting their adversary unfairly disqualified.
Toxic Teacher
Toxic Teacher is usually a female warrior that is a rather clever troll. Toxic Teacher will keep reminding everybody that they are a teacher for a living in real life (or some other profession that involves care or authority towards vulnerable people), and them doing this of course is a sneaky means to an ends. Toxic Teacher will generally come across as an unsavory, unkind and mean spirited person, and often a bully. This attitude of theirs will of course result in other warriors rising to them, because of their supposed profession. When this happens, Toxic Teacher will be laughing behind her keyboard realising how she has cleverly gotten a rise out of people.
White Knight
White Knight is a villainous and irritating male warrior, who gives others the impression of himself that he has never seen or spoke to a woman ever in his life (except for his mother and sister). White Knight behaves as if he is under compulsion to defend and suck up to every female warrior he see’s, and is quick to start on other males just because a female he likes is involved in an argument or heated exchange with that male. White Knight is nearly always a disingenuous person, where he will turn on the female that he use to white knight for, the very second she says no to something, or falls out with him.

Strike: Sync Move becomes AoE. (Its power is not reduced against multiple targets.)
Support: Sync Move raises sync buff by +2 instead of +1 when it is used for the first time. (Each sync buff increases damage output by 50%.)
Tech: Sync Move power x1.5
Sprint: Sync Move reduces the user's sync move countdown by 3.
Field: Sync Move applies a field effect before dealing damage and extends its duration by 50%.

Common Technical Questions/Errors

Error 20103 — Please check your connection and try again: Usually caused due to lack of connection or sudden disconnection. Try playing the game in a place with more stable connection.
Error 10102 — An error has occurred. Restarting the game: This error is often triggered because it detects your phone is rooted, or that you are using external applications which allows opening multiple accounts on the same device. For rooted phone users, make sure you hide your rooted status.
Game crashed mid-battle: Restart the app and clear your cache. This option is available in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.
Does Pokémon Masters work on emulators? No. As of now, PM is not compatible with any of the emulators (including Bluestacks, Nox, etc.) However, playing two accounts on the same device is possible on Android by cloning with Island.

Hello,
I beat the game on Merciless. I ran it again on NG+ because i missed a social link.
To get my other party members to 99 i beat the reaper multiple times. I gave Elizabeth the bloody button.
I haven’t done any other requests.
I’m not able to fight her despite me searching on the web and the only requirements are “Defeat the reaper” or “play on NG+”.
Please help.

Hi all! So I know this isn't a big deal but it's driving my OCD crazy. When you go to load a character, is there a way to override the order they're in somehow? My main character WAS at the top of the list where I want him but I deleted him to restart because I messed up a couple quest lines and wanted to get everything possible in one NG without doing NG+. Now my main is showing in the #2 slot, even before characters I made before him. So I can't for the life of me figure out what dictates the order they're in, and even more I can't figure out how to (if possible) get my main character back in the #1 slot.
I'd really appreciate any help with this as I've tried searching all over the web with no luck except for a few reddit threads that didn't give me the answers I am looking for. Much appreciated!

🤖Better and faster LLMs via multi-token prediction: New research

New research, apparently from Meta, has proposed a novel approach to training language models (LMs). It suggests that training LMs to predict multiple future tokens at once instead of predicting only the next token in a sequence results in higher sample efficiency. The architecture is simple, with no train time or memory overhead.

The research also provides experimental evidence that this training paradigm is increasingly useful for larger models and in particular, shows strong improvements for code tasks. Multi-token prediction also enables self-speculative decoding, making models up to 3 times faster at inference time across a wide range of batch sizes.
Why does it matter?
LLMs such as GPT and Llama rely on next-token prediction. Despite their recent impressive achievements, next-token prediction remains an inefficient way of acquiring language, world knowledge, and reasoning capabilities. It latches on local patterns and overlooks “hard” decisions.
Perhaps, multi-token prediction could bring a shift in how LMs learn. It could equip LLMs with deeper understanding and complex problem-solving capabilities. (or Meta just wasted their compute.)

Anthropic launches an iOS app and a new plan for teams

Anthropic, the creator of the Claude 3 AI models, released a new iOS app named Claude. The app enables users to access AI models, chat with them, and analyze images by uploading them.

Google's AI advancements may have urged Microsoft's billion-dollar OpenAI investment

Internal emails have revealed that Microsoft invested $1 billion in OpenAI in 2019 out of fear that Google was significantly ahead in its AI efforts.
Microsoft CTO Kevin Scott sent a lengthy email to CEO Satya Nadella and Bill Gates stating Google’s AI-powered “auto complete in Gmail” was getting “scarily good” and added that Microsoft was years behind in terms of ML scale.
The emails, with the subject line “Thoughts on OpenAI,” were made public on Tuesday as part of the Department of Justice's antitrust case against Google. A large section of Scott's email was redacted. Check out the email here.
Why does it matter?
While some might call it paranoia, the well-timed move has undeniably paid off– the initial $1 billion has now turned into a multi-billion-dollar partnership with OpenAI.
While the email-surfacing highlights the growing scrutiny of competition in the tech industry, it also makes me wonder if Microsoft's investment in OpenAI could have influenced the overall direction of AI research and development.

2024.05.01 11:00 uppercuthard2 Not in "tutorial hell" but stuck in "where do I even start" hell

TLDR at the end
I'm a 2nd year comp sci engg undergraduate. I have done a few web dev projects with django, some other basic projects in python using tkinter, pyqt5.
I have always wanted to get into ml field ever since I learned about it in the 10th grade.
Started searching for resources to learn ML in 10th grade. Found out that python was the preferred language for ML, so did a switch from Java to python. Learnt python from this app/website called sololearn. Practiced tons of BASIC & EASY python questions on Hackerrank, to increase my familiarity with the quirks of the language.
Then I realized that sololearn had their own machine learning course. I started learning ML through that, and that's where I was introduced to the mathematics required for ML. For some reason the basic statistics was easy to read....but my naive and inexperienced brain could not comprehend/learn it. So I just read the course, and answered the mcqs after every chapter. Nothing stuck to my brain though.
I completely left reading about ML during my 11th and 12th grade as I was preparing for competitve exams. Again once my 12th grade was over, i refreshed my python by taking CS50P an was surprised to go through it pretty quickly.
I kept exploring more and more for resources for learning ml on reddit comments, posts, from insta ads, youtube ads etc.
I tried kaggle's tutorial series about numpy, pandas and intro to machine learning. Wasn't satisfied with it(i.e. didn't really grasp the concepts). Tried ANdrew Ng course on coursera, gave me some understanding, but I was so uninterested because of the lack of application to support my learning(There weren't many exercises or problems). Know a bit about deep learning from learning from Nvidia's fundamentals of deep learning course.
TLDR: I have saved so many comments, roadmaps, posts and bookmarked so many links and books recommended by people on reddit, linkedin, instagram to learn about machine learning, deep learning, mathematics, cloud services required for ML, that even before I get stuck in tutorial hell, I am stuck in a "where do I start" hell. and I eventually end up procrastinating. My goal for the end of this summer is to know the concepts of ml, solve some problems from textbooks and implement ml models in kaggle or other platforms and also learn the maths behind DL and make DL projects with pytorch.
It's too ambitious, for 3 months..ik. But I want to at least be on the right track

Field: Sync Move applies a field effect before dealing damage and extends its duration by 50%.

Common Technical Questions/Errors

Error 20103 — Please check your connection and try again: Usually caused due to lack of connection or sudden disconnection. Try playing the game in a place with more stable connection.
Error 10102 — An error has occurred. Restarting the game: This error is often triggered because it detects your phone is rooted, or that you are using external applications which allows opening multiple accounts on the same device. For rooted phone users, make sure you hide your rooted status.
Game crashed mid-battle: Restart the app and clear your cache. This option is available in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.
Does Pokémon Masters work on emulators? No. As of now, PM is not compatible with any of the emulators (including Bluestacks, Nox, etc.) However, playing two accounts on the same device is possible on Android by cloning with Island.

2024.04.26 15:00 ChemicalEuphoric First Blind Playthrough Woes - I missed so much

Hey folks,
Felt like I needed to express my experience and also wonder if I'm alone in the mistakes I made during a first playthrough.
I've absolutely loved going into DD2 blind, scarcely looking online for help until the realization hit me today. I'm 40+ hours in, level 52, and I've been in the unmoored lands for the past few hours. I evacuate Venworth and Battahl. Then go to the elves, get met with a seemingly impossible quest to convince the big honcho to evacuate only to realize after searching the web that huh... I missed out on the entire questline from the elves that would let me evacuate them to begin with.
I think ok, I guess that's why New Game + exists! Only to then get to the volcanic isle and realize I had explored absolutely none of it and not even realizing it was there after killing the giant, never unlocked the wayfarer nor the magic archer and had nothing to do with the fine folks around there.
You see I got kinda mislead by the game I feel like. I have been side-questing for the longest time, only to begin having a few dedicated main quest sessions which felt to me like ''oh there's going to be a lot of content there, no fear that I will end the game without noticing''. But that's just what I did ultimately XD. The volcanic isle seems to be just passed the triggers for the final quest. So I set on the path of the final quest without realizing all that was there for me to explore. I slayed the dragon, got to the umoored world, and it all felt like a fever dream only to realize I locked myself out of the content because I'm now at the end game phase with a broken world all around me.
At this point, I'm tempted to rush the umoored world only to get back to NG+ because I missed so much.
TL:DR: The main quest felt like it was so quick to accomplish that I locked myself into killing the dragon and reaching the end game without having properly explored all I could.
