I'm currently a fed who has been with my office for just shy of a year. Overall, we have a really great culture. Everyone seems to get along great and I genuinely look forward to going into the office.
A week or so ago, my supervisor and I went over my annual appraisal and they had no issues with my work performance. I was given good ratings across the board, saying that I was meeting expectations and progressing at a normal rate.
However, my coach notified me of "rumblings" from the top/management regarding my work product, being dissatisfied with parts of it and that if it continues I'll develop a bad reputation. This completely caught me off guard due to the positive feedback my sup had given me a week prior.
I'm anxious not due to the feedback but because I don't know the source. I genuinely want to improve in areas I am weak, but now I feel like I have a target on my back. Again, I haven't heard anything about this lack of performance from my supervisor, the person who also reviews all of my work.
What's the best way to go about this? Should I just put my head down and focus on putting out a better work product than before?

Overview- Sans is a rushdown/zoner, being the only one in the game. High damage, high defense, and only 1 phase, so he's pretty odd compared to the rest of the characters. He's very good however, being the one of the strongest characters in UTPR.
Health: 200 Attack: 1 Defense: 1 (310)
Pros: High defense, and great damage, along with being a zoner.
Cons: Only 200 hp, and kinda meh LMB. Gets countered by high damage characters.
Unique Mechanics: Unlike most characters, sans can dodge. It's purely visual, as you still take knockback. you have 200 dodge health before you run out, and you'll die in a single hit. sans has karma. The rate can vary upon characters, but it's most effective against the Chara's, and Frisk. Along with being free chip damage. It does NOT knock opponents out of their moves. RMB ending. sans can launch them either at the end, or a attack or 2 earlier. Always use it at the end, otherwise you'll lose free stamina regen and a couple damage. Hyper Armor: Your attacks will damage, regardless of if your stunned, except for blasters 5.
Moves: Bones is your bread. Your going to be using them to force your opponent to keep moving. Blasters are your punishing tools. Only blaster 2 deals knockback however. So use it after a LMB. Telekinesis is the punishing move. Tele 1 has 4 variations. W, which sends them forward and knocks them back for a little bit of damage. A/S, which sends them toward a blaster and knocks them back. Blaster 2 will be put on cooldown. (You can also run up to them and use Bones 5 for free damage.) Tele S, which sends them down and deals 18 damage. Tele Space sends them flying upward, deals no damage. Used for combos.
Asgore: 50/50 from my experience. You either completely zone him out, or he completely shreds your hp. As soon as he gets close, game over. Keep your distance, punish when available.
Asriel: Kinda rough in areas, overall you got the fight if you keep your distance. He does stand still for a lot of his attacks, so put them blasters to use. Again, distance is key. For his phase 2, block his fireballs, avoid Toriel's fire, perfect block Asgore, try to avoid and block Papyrus, dodge the blaster from sans, dodge the spear, and ESPECIALLY dodge Alphys. If you get hit, it's a free combo for him. Avoid the beam, and punish like in phase 1 for phase 3.
Frisk: Either you dominate or he makes you into sans spaghetti. Keep. Your. Distance. Punish them with good LMBS into telekinesis. Same deal for phase 2, but higher dps.
sans: Your biggest threat. Can't dodge forever. Keep attacking. Play offensively, combo well, and you got this.
Undyne: Pretty easy for you. Undyne mostly relys on a couple combos for her phase 1, and punish when available, don't get greedy. Phase 2 is where the fight starts. Perfect block charged 1, block regular 2, avoid 3, etc. Avoid her Spear Of Justice, as you can use blasters 5 to get around 50 free damage and karma. Same deal for true hero, but remember about bones 4 for me.
Glitchtale Chara: Do NOT engage with close combat.You will lose most of your hp. Your going to play defense for most of the fight. Keep em coming, it's a battle for stamina. Punish low stamina especially, blaster 2 out of hateball as well. Block the integrity slashes (the blue ones, 4 and 5) and you'll be fine. Keep your guard up, you got this.
Storyshift Chara: More like a annoyance until the last phase. Make good use of bones 4 into blasters, as you'll need karma. Not much to say about her first 2 phases, keep pressure on and don't let her combo. Phase 2 is a menace however. Don't be out-zoned. Use your blasters to punish greedy Souls moves, make good use of your hyper armor.
Jevil: This is going to be chaos. Play defensively and punish well. Learn how to counter his phase 1, and phase 2. Remember certain things about both. His 1 can ruin telekinesis and give him a free combo. In his phase 2, his 4 can cancel telekinesis, but It likely won't hit. Either move out of the way, or get risky and use blasters 3 for free damage. He has extremely high damage, don't let him get the better of you.
For your combo game, bones 4 is useful if it hits. Bones 4 -> Blasters 3/4 (20~ damage) Telekinesis is also excellent, assuming it lands. Tele (Space) -> Teleport -> Bones 2 -> Blaster 1 -> Bones 3 -> Blaster 3 (30-40 damage) For your lmb, you'll mostly be wanting to use your RMB ender to gain more distance. If your against a wall, use the regular one. LMB x4 -> RMB -> Bones 5 -> Blaster 2 -> Bones 6 -> Blaster 1 (20~ damage)

Some interesting things: If you really need distance, use Telekinesis W while they are in the air. It won't fling them back, but it will just launch them away. Telekinesis 3's best ender is always 1. They can't block your lmb, dodge blasters, etc. You'll regain Tele 1 upon counter. Blaster 5 doesn't have hyper armor. So it won't hit if your stunned. The best non combo telekinesis move is S. My boyfriend and I have been together a year and a half and he lives in a family home with his dad (80m), brother (32m), sister in law (30f) and their 2 children (3 and 6). He was released from prison before I met him and living with his family was the best option being that we live in one of the most expensive places in the US in California and he works a blue collar job. It’s his dad’s home, but after his mom passed away the brother and sister in law moved in and have taken over the house. They all pay the dad rent. The first 6 months we were together I got along great with his family and we spent a lot of time together and my children would play with the niece and nephew. I thought it was weird the SIL would do my boyfriend’s laundry and clean his room and I told him it made me uncomfortable and said I would do his laundry for him. He talked with her about it and the sister in law decided that she hated me. I came across paragraphs of texts from her on his phone saying horrible things about me and telling him to break up with me. I was hurt and confused and texted her saying I thought we were friends, if I did something to upset you I would like to talk it out. She said she was upset about his laundry and upset I didn’t go to a Father’s Day dinner and called me a bitch and a cunt and told me to stay the fuck away from their house and her children. I was blown away by her level of anger. I have since tried to talk to her months after that around the holidays last year to work things out with the same response, she blew up at me insulting me and calling me names and I blocked her. I no longer go to his house and he has to choose between his family or me for holidays and events, and his relationship with his family has gotten strained. There have been several negative interactions with her in person. I didn’t have any problem with his brother or dad, but she hates me so much they just go along with her. She openly talks shit about me around their house and saw in a group text she refers to me as miss piggy. I don’t feel that my boyfriend has stood up for me or our relationship enough and allows his family to treat me like trash. When my boyfriend has talked to his brother and her about it, they end up fighting like cats and dogs. The sister in law is loud, stubborn, drinks every day, and is vocal about hating me and steamrolls over everyone in the house. I have also done nothing to warrant this level of anger- I suspect she has an underlying issue with me that has to do more with herself. I have thought about having him move into my apartment, but I really just don’t feel ready for it yet and it would be a tight squeeze. Is our relationship doomed with this dysfunctional dynamic?

Rate debate: A hotter-than-expected reading on US economic output, combined with a hawkish tone from Fed officials in the minutes of the central bank's May meeting, prompted investors to scale back expectations for interest rate cuts again. Investors are now pricing in fewer than two cuts for the year, and debate has shifted to whether or not the Fed will make its first cut by September. As of Friday, markets were pricing in a 50% chance the Fed doesn't cut in September, a noted shift from the 70% chance investors had priced in a month ago, per the CME FedWatch tool. Goldman's chief US economist David Mericle pushed its predicted first cut from July to September, but reasoned that his team still views these cuts as "optional" given the strength of the economy. All else equal, signs of strength in the economy "lessen the urgency" for the Fed to cut, Mericle reasoned. With earnings season largely over, Truist co-chief investment officer Keith Lerner told Yahoo Finance the discussion around the Fed, inflation, and economic data will once again take center stage for markets in the near term. "That just makes for a more volatile market," Lerner said.
A fresh check on prices: Inflation's trajectory remains crucial to the Fed's rate-cutting timeline, and markets will get an update on any progress on Friday with the release of the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index. Economists expect April's "core" PCE, the Fed's preferred gauge that excludes the volatile food and energy categories, clocked in at an annual gain of 2.8%, flat from March's increase. Over the prior month, economists expect "core" PCE rose 0.3%, also in line with last month's change. Another economic growth update: US economic growth for the first quarter of 2024 came in far weaker than economists had expected. On April 25, the Bureau of Economic Analysis's advance estimate of first quarter US gross domestic product showed the economy grew at an annualized pace of 1.6% during the period, missing the 2.5% growth expected by economists surveyed by Bloomberg.
The secondary reading is slated for Thursday, and economists believe after down revisions to retail sales data in February and March, the GDP number will fall to 1.3% in this reading. However, Bank of America US economist Michael Gapen wrote in a note to clients that this shouldn't be an ominous sign about the health of the US economy as final sales to domestic purchasers remains strong.
A solid earnings backdrop for the rest of the year is one of several factors many strategists are citing as they revise up their year-end targets for the S&P 500. But Deutsche Bank chief equity strategist Binky Chadha told Yahoo Finance while people are "talking bullish," equity positioning hasn't shifted much in the past three months. Deutsche Bank's measure of positioning shows investors are "overweight" equities but not to the "extreme" levels seen in 2021 and 2018.

I am having a hard time deciding which hospital is best to give birth at. We did IVF through NYU Fertility and had a great experience but are still uncertain whether I’m on board with feeling comfortable with their maternity ward. I am 16 weeks and am trying to decide if I should switch from NYU to Cornell. I know it’s kind of late to be making this type of decision.
I think the biggest pros/cons are:
Pros/Cons for NYU - We like and trust our doctor but don’t see her often because of the rotation. Feels sometimes like a factory and constantly feel that they are too busy. - Have been told there is a 10% chance that we have a shared room after delivery (big con for me). I keep reading mixed reviews as to whether it’s common to get a private room or not or if it’s sort of lip service. Anyone give birth there recently?
Pro/Cons for Weill Cornell - we are guaranteed a private room - Cornell has higher rates of c-section which I really don’t want to get or feel forced into because the hospital is busy (37% vs NYU at 29%)
I have to admit that the private room is a big thing for me, I can’t imagine sharing a room after delivery as I am just a more private person in general, but also know how important it is to be with a doctor you trust when push comes to shove.
Anyone have experience at either hospitals? This is my first pregnancy so feel a bit lost as to what to prioritize.

I just started playing a couple days ago. I read somewhere that it is best to try to go for infinite in pool 1, and to not upgrade cards beyond collection level 175 or so until you've achieved infinite, and then use credits and gold to quickly get pool 2 cards. Well, I didn't read that until I hit collection level 194. Since then, I've stopped upgrading cards and am trying to build my credits. The problem is I seem to be stuck in bronze. My win rate is probably about 50% at this point, and I keep sliding back and forth but not really progressing. I've tried a zoo deck with Onslaught, various reveal decks with Odin, a discard deck with Apocalypse, and some hybrid decks that use Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl. I've had some success with all the decks, but also a lot of failure. I don't think I'm a bad player, but maybe I am lol. I honestly think I'm just running into other players who know how to play the game, and I also keep getting screwed by crappy locations too. I see quite a few cards in my games that aren't from pool one; could my opponents be more advanced than me? In any case, what should I do? Should I keep trying to go for infinite and maybe get there sometime in the next decade, or should I just go ahead and upgrade cards and go into pool 2?

We usually go visit family or have people come visit, so if the savings were decent and I didn't need the product immediately, I would order the product to a family south of the border and get it whenever.
The wait for for the item wasn't the annoying part - the comparison was. So, being a software eng, I create a Chrome extension that inserts a "compare button" on an amazon product page that compares the price on .com to .ca and vise versa using the current exchange rate.
It's also gratifying when the best deal is amazon.ca so I know I'm getting the best price.
I built it a while ago, it still works for me (I've saved over $2,000 so it's been worth it!), but I'll say it's beta since I'm sure people will find bugs.

When I relapsed months ago I didn't tell anyone, but I recently had a conversation with a family member who said that when she saw me around then I looked awful and had ballooned, and my face looked swelled up. I was also able to gather something similar from a friend who saw me a couple days after I had 5-6 drinks ("moderation") after a period of sobriety earlier this year. I know now that if I so much as have a drop of alcohol on my tongue, my face will retain a more water and I'll look fat, and people who know me will automatically know I'm boozing again. The inevitable shame from such a scenario has been very helpful in keeping me sober, it's almost like a lightswitch if I think about it/have a craving. Also low key know there might be fatty liver or some type of damage involved with that and drinking again will just make the medical problems worse. Call me soft or vain or whatever idc.

Okay, so I’ll start by saying- DO NOT view an apartment at night while the unit is only half way renovated, unless you’re in desperate times like me (24) and my bf (27)were back in November. (We have since added our daughter to our family as of late march)
We fell for a scam rental unit that is the has some of the most hazardous, dangerous and disgusting living conditions I have seen/ heard of for a legal rental unit (i say legal lightly). My partner and I have bad credit after using all credit cards and lines of credit possible to get his grandma into a home after I could not longer meet her needs as her psw. Our credit scores are around 589-600 right now. We payed 3 months in advance to get approval for this unit (1450+ utilities) which is less then 300 sq ft in London ont.
This is embarrassing but urgent I find a way out of here for my babies health.
When I came on move in day to collect the keys, it looked like a bunch of crack heads broke in and spent a few nights in the unit. There was no bedroom door (had a hole kicked in it apparently), no fridge and no stove(was a grease fire apparently) huge punched holes in the walls, throwing knife holes, a leaking ceiling (it was raining) no breaker box panel, no toilet handle or seat, a broken window and crazy crack head jibberish written on the walls. I asked the property manager what the heck is going on and if he’s going to fix anything- he said no, and left down the stairs. We have since fixed up the place out of pocket to make it livable because we spent over 4K in the application process to get approved. They refused to fix anything, and we had no money to move. We had made the unit livable and as I got closer to my due date I had complications and my bf needed to stop working to be here for me and our baby- eating into our savings.
Since the weather has changed, the building absolutely smells of horrid mold and mildew, we’ve seen rats the size of small dogs. In the hallway out side of our unit and by the buildings garbage, our outlets spark when it rains bc of water leaks, we hear the rats scratching in all our walls, the AC doesn’t work and the landlord gave us a black mold infested unit. That made us all very sick. I have allergies to mold and have a rash all over my body all of us have respiratory issues from the rat smell and mold( we see the doc on thurs) I could go on and on- but I just need to know-
If I withhold rent to quickly save what we need to move- what kind of long term consequences will I have. I think it’ll be worth it. Two three months tops and we are out of here and safe. We’ve tried everything we can to get the property manager and landlord to address these issues and they won’t. We’ve documented everything, we don’t want to go through the LtB and would rather move asap.
Is this the best plan I can have for this situation??

I've been feeling a little bummed out lately. I always try and stay happy and see the best in things. But.. I've just been so alone. Most of my whole childhood and adult years have been spent feeling lonely. I grew up surrounded by cornfields which was peaceful but also has a lonely aspect to it. My family never really were close and never did anything as a family really. And part of it too is the fact that I never had any neighbors my age to interact with. But aside from that, my adult life has been very lonely. I'm just always by myself. I barely have any meaningful adult relationships or experiences, or even any friends.
I work a 3-11 job in building maintenance at my company world headquarters building which I love, but again it's very lonely. I work the off shift so the building is always empty. I don't get normal social interaction with people my age or a chance to build relationships. I only have 3 older men as co-workers and we are mostly in the basement away from any people on the floors from knowing our existence. I always walk the floors and see office people laughing and chatting with their coworkers and I just don't have that kind of experience. And just.. no one knows I exist really. Everyone probably assumes I have a lot of friends, but I'm struggling inside with being so alone and trying to meet people and get past the "hi how are you?" "I'm good thanks" stage. Most people don't seem to want to talk beyond that. And most women are already in relationships and thus it would seem weird to approach them in an office setting trying to get to know them deeper. But man those "hi how are yous" are the only real interactions I get during my day.. so thus I decided to come here lol. Rant over, sorry! I promise I'm not a downer. 😅
Now for some things about me!
I am left handed which is pretty cool. I'm not much of a party person or a drinker, I much prefer a quiet night at home and maybe a beer or two on a weekend but that's about it. I am simple and stay out of drama and trouble and don't get much into politics or other things that cause drama with people. I much prefer a relaxing campfire and a night at home and to just let the world keep on turning haha.
Physically I'm 180 pounds, have brown hair, green eyes, and a typical build. There's a few pictures on my profile.
Some of my hobbies are:
• Photography
I have a Nikon D200 and D5500 that I love to shoot with. I love nature scenes, abstract, black and white/goth kinda photography, sunsets, etc. it's so fun to just let your mind explore. It's not about what camera you have, but those who are behind the camera!
• Cooking and baking
I loveeee to cook and bake! I enjoy making various meals but also love to just have a frozen pizza once in awhile or something like that. I recently made homemade chili which turned out great. I love to bake, especially in the fall! I love pies, cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. I restored a vintage KitchenAid mixer that needed tbe gearbox rebuilt. Eventually I would love to practice home canning my own food.
• Music
Oh my gosh, I like so much!! Alternative rock, punk, post punk, electronic, synth pop, psychedelic rock, hard rock, etc. I am very non judgemental and open when it comes to music. My three current favorite bands are Type O Negative, Joy Division, and the Cure.
• Nature walks and camping
I really enjoy camping, making fires, and relaxing by a campfire. I love to take walks outside and just enjoy the beauty and simplicity of nature. It's wonderful, especially in a world so focused on everything digital.
• Repairing things
I'm a maintenance guy and one of my hobbies is electronics repair so I am good with my hands and just all around good at troubleshooting and fixing all sorts of things around the house. Last week I helped my elderly neighbor get his tractor started, it needed a new component in the starting circuit. So I'm pretty handy which... Comes in handy! 😂
• Autumn 🍁
This isn't a hobby per say, but man do I love the fall!!! It's my absolute favorite time of the year. Oh my gosh. The beautiful colors, crisp cool air, misty and foggy days, rain, lack of bugs, being cuddled up with a candle or by the fire drinking a tea, etc. I love it! There's only two seasons for me. Fall, and waiting for fall! Haha.
• Scented Candles and incense
Going along with my love for fall, I absolutely love candles! I have like 30 something lol. 😂 Currently my favorite are WoodWick, which are owned by Yankee candle. They have such a soothing crackle and the scents are great! I also love to burn incense from time to time as well. I have cottagecore hippie vibes.
• Old houses and architecture
I love old houses! Especially 1900s and Victorian era homes. Old homes have so much character to them and are just so beautiful from a time when people took pride in their craft. I strongly dislike the modern cookie cutter cheap construction of homes today. I would love to live in an old home one day. I also love their architecture and uniqueness, as well as architecture of old cathedrals and other buildings.
• Relaxing
Basic I know, but sometimes on the weekend I just love to get cozy in bed and relax and put on a YouTube video or an album! 😊
That's about it for me, I'm a pretty laid back and simple person. My ideal person is someone who is respectful and honest! I am very straightforward and open minded and would hope that you are as well.
