So my girlfriend is with a local bank (IN) and someone in California has been able to put her now former card into their Lyft account. She disputed hundreds of dollars of charges and canceled her old card. We assumed this is where this would end.
Since receiving her new card, she has had her phone removed from the “trusted” status and she can no longer access her application. Assumedly, this person is off spending hundreds of her hard earned money. Please help answer the following 2 questions so we know what to do:

1. Should we contact local police and try to get them to start an investigation or have them reach out to CA police to start one?
   
2. How much information of hers do they likely have if they can log into her bank account and make her cell phone no longer “trusted.”

Me (30M) and my Fiance (32F) are having an issue where our females dogs started fighting about 3 months ago. Noone has gotten a real injury yet but it is getting old fast. Dogs are 7lbs, 7 y/o and 20lbs 2.5 y/o.

Hello, I am returning from about a 6 month hiatus because, lets be real we can never really quit this game. Judas, according to the Bible, was a brother & devoted servant of Jesus Christ (Mark 6:3; Matt 13:55; Jude 1). His twin (Acts of Thomas). The spiritual (divine) Christ paired to the physical (human) Judas. Jesus WAS Judas. In the Gospel of Thomas there were no miracles, no resurrections. Jesus predicted no future events, he was no prophet, no revelations or rapture. All prophesy attributed (falsely) to Jesus was culled from the Hebrew OT and retrofitted as Roman propaganda to co-opt, conflate & corrupt Judaism w/ the upstart Jesus’ movement, neatly consolidating control of both under Rome, effectively killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
So how then did Jesus know Judas would betray him? Simple, he (Jesus/Judas) turned himself in & cut a deal with Pilate to fake crucifixion avoiding further unrest in the Jewish population (exactly what you would hope for & expect from a Jesus). The deal was after the crucifix fake-out Jesus would bounce & so he did becoming St.Thomas/St.Jude traveling far & wide, converting about a billion more ppl to Christianity before dying in his 100s.

I feel like I've missed something. I cannot seem to log into a google account for my second/third user. I've tried a couple of different accounts and they all do the same thing. Once the 2-step triggers, it just never actually executes (none of my other devices receive an notification).

When I do check50, my values are coming out correct unless the correct value is 255. Isn't my if statement accounting for 255 and excess of 255 values?

Hi all, my short SPX box spread doubled in margin req since transitioning to Scwab.
I have talked to support and they are aware of the issue, but claim that I am 1/100 users with this problem and so it falls low on the totem pole ATM.
That said, this issue puts my account negative cash and prevents me from trading. Support mentioned they think a short box using ES options may circumvent the issue (though I have no clue why) and I am considering closing the short SPX box to open a short ES box.
I'm curious to hear from folks if there are any types of things I don't understand about ES options that may make this a bad idea or that I should at least consider, on the surface it sounds like a fine way to drop in a replacement but I just don't know. Out of the 5.6k I would have paid over the life of this box, it appears it will take about 2.3k to close it out now, if that information matters.

Hi all- hope someone here has an idea. We are finishing up year 2 of a 3 year DOE subcontract. Our Flowthrough just discovered that they had a mistake in their accounting and overspent. They are asking us to calculate our carry-forward amount, and send it back to them. My PI would rather they get their VPR to cover it, but is willing to cover them if needed. I have in the past, when we needed to "return" funds to a flow through, just reduced what they sent us in the following year. However, DOE is requiring a carry forward justification so I think this needs to be handled in the current budget year. I am unsure how to approach this- and of course she wants to meet about this before our grants and contracts accounting office opens.
TLDR: has anyone sent funds back to a flow through because you had carryover available and they misspent?

me (martin, 13 male). I once had a computer for more than 3 years. i loved using it even if it was slow asf. i had multiple accounts and progress in it, i was even writing a book on there, and now i lost all of it. my brother (ramiro, 12 male, but 11 when it happened), got taken his computer away aswell as mine for repairs. the repairs lasted about 2 months, and the day before we got them back, my dad told us that ramiro's computer wasn't able to be fixed because HE used it non-stop and placed it on couch material, which made it overheat and break the system. My dad told us the ramiro was going to keep MY computer, and ofc, like anyone, i complained. they refused to give it back because they said ''you have your chromebook'' which was a school chromebook. but they also tell me to this day that i can only use it for school work. (i'm on reddit, rn, so not rlly school work) and i said ''if i cant use it for anything else apart from school, then it doesnt count as having a computer. eventually i let it go, hoping i would get one for my birthday (july 14, in a month). but ofc, i dont think im gonna get it, since they already wasted 500$ for a vr for ramiro, and he cant even use it because he needs a parent account, and it doesnt work. but before, my parents said we needed to share the vr, he didnt want to so he told me he would give the computer back if i stopped asking for the vr (he didnt share). a couple hours later, he wanted the computer back, and insisting during 2 hours and pinched me trying to grab it. he gave me a shitty ass amazon tablet in exchange, and since i was so done with his shit, i just accepted. i was also mad that my parent didnt care wht i had to say. they told my brother to keep it.and its stupid, cuz this trade comp./vr was broken by HIM, even tho a couple years ago, we made a trade with a switch so i cant use it, and that trade still stands to this day. when i wanna break a trade, i cant, but when he wants to, in his opinion, we HAVE to do it.

I moved to Texas in August of last with who I thought was a good friend of mine that I met in Colorado 3 years ago. At the time of moving, we got laid off of our jobs in Colorado so we thought that would be the best time to do so than ever. We did. We both were able to get retail store management jobs here, a house to rent, no problem. However, she owns a condo in Colorado and thought it would be a good idea to rent the rooms to her previous work colleagues to cover her mortgage while she's renting here in Texas.
About a month into moving here, we both found a significant other for ourselves and generally stay at their houses more than our own. Big deal.. whatever. We're adults. Fast forward to March, she starts telling me she has to move to part time at her job only working 2 days a week. Me being the supportive friend, I tell her to look for another job ASAP. So, she does.. at Colonial Life.. a 100% commission based job that doesn't even pay you for training or the work you do at their office prior to being licensed to sell life insurance. That leads to her saying "I can't handle 2 jobs so I have to quit." She quits the job that was paying her even though it was only 2 days a week.
April 1st comes along, she tells me she's officially gone into debt. The work colleagues who were supposedly her friends decided to quit their jobs.. become couch potato's and not pay her rent. Here's the kicker. She has no actual lease in place to enforce anything therefore they can just live there rent free. She obviously has to pay the mortgage there for what they didn't pay PLUS the rent here, so she somehow managed to do so.
April 25th comes and she tells me she can't afford to live here and needs to go back to Colorado; continuously asking me to find someone to replace her on our lease. Say less! May 1st arrives.. she tells me she is going to be late for rent by 8 days. I told her to take it up with our landlord... so she does, by lying and saying WE both got laid off and had to find new jobs. BRUH..... I am on workers comp, not laid off. I still manage to pay my rent with how low my workers comp benefits are and juggling personal bills. Then when he tells her there's a $100 late fee, she supposedly gets a loan and pays the rent.
May is here and now I'm putting all gas no brakes on finding someone to replace her because I have a lot of stress in my life due to the work indigent I encountered.. I don't need anymore stress. She wasn't able to pay $25 of the WiFi bill so she told me to cancel it but instead I paid it and changed the password. When she found out, she flipped shit and told me how fucked up it was because she can't work online now... for Colonial Life who doesn't pay her for the work she's doing. Lol
A few days ago, I asked her if she's going to have money for her half of electric or rent. She told me no, her account is negative but is hoping she "closes a $20K deal at work" in a week. Nope.. I'm not being strung along until the last day of the month for you tell me you can't pay your half of rent. She then proceeds to ask if I found someone to replace her and I told her I'm working on it. I then asked her if I do find someone, is she able to sign herself off of it if our landlord agrees.. she says "Yes, I told you that already." SAY LESS!
Today, I finally got confirmation of someone to replace her so I called my landlord, explained everything without the extra drama and he said he can make it work but wants to meet in person so we can all agree on it to make sure it's not just me telling her to leave. When I told her this, she FLIPS OUT because I didn't consult her about it before I brought it up to the landlord, tells me I'm kicking her out, that I'm fucked up because now she has to throw her stuff away, take her cat to the shelter and live in her car. I told her to stop worrying about finding money to pay rent and take the money and go back to Colorado... but Colonial Life has her so fucking brainwashed that her reply was "No because I'm about to make thousands."
Now she's giving me a hard time about signing herself off the lease even though she asked 4 times to help her by finding someone to replace her and when I do, it's my fault. Our lease is up October 31st.. my landlord was barely okay with agreeing to replace her because there's about 5 months left but would rather do so than us not paying full months rent.
Fuck off. Worry about sorting out your crippling debt and vape addiction rather than trying to make me suffer financially because you are.

I booked a couple of hotels and rental cars through the Delta Vacations service since it was cheaper and they advertised that you could get miles from booking with them. It's been 2 months, and I'm not seeing any sign that these miles were applied to my account nor any trace of them in my transaction history. I know they said to wait eight weeks until the miles hit your account, but should I just keep waiting or reach out to customer service? I have the confirmation emails for each of these trips if that helps.

Throwaway account. I started a job 2 months ago in PR. This role was a huge step up in my career and I was thrilled. My team seemed great and the schedule was hybrid with majority remote. That’s all changed now.
A senior employee who oversees me seemed really cool at first. She’s 44, I’m 28, and we hit it off. Shortly after me starting, she changed for the worse. There’s instances she talks to me in a passive tone, rejects my ideas, and talks to me like I’m a child (literally). I’m now only civil but nice.
This week, I asked to meet with Director to discuss a schedule for my son who will be on summer break. I was NEVER (not once) given a set schedule nor expectations of days to be in. I asked numerous times. Naturally, I followed my teams suit which is 1-2x in person. Well, Director and Sr employee met with me and said they want me in office 3x a week. Which is no issue… had I been given expectations when starting. I assumed the flexibility would allow me to be home during the summer more.
Now I’m scrambling to find child care and everything is full. I asked my boss if she would be willing to 2x a week due to this situation and she got upset with me and firmly told me “We like you but we need to find a solution. At the end of the day, this is a business.” — to add, they all joked about how often I went in person at my old job and I have it made now.
I’m very upset and overwhelmed. I feel like they did a 180°. I’m timid and hate confrontation. They both seem annoyed with me. Am I over-reacting?

I'm now a 3rd year medical student, and have about $20k in federal student loan debt. Was working the last 2 years so was able to cover the rest of the costs. Stopped working now, and won't have an income until 2 years from now that will be about 65-85k (residency). I have about 20k in a ROTH IRA from the last 3 years (~2k gains maybe). Would it be worthwhile to just pull money as needed from this account versus taking out additional student loans since the interest rates are quite high right now? However, I understand the importance of taking advantage of this tax-protected account for the future. Thanks for the advice!
