So this is gonna be a long one. My ex and I legally divorced many years ago, finally, after she got pregnant with another man's kid. Someone who she had been dating for 2 months. It was a rough marriage, but also one I dragged out, badly not wanting to put our children through a divorce. I had a hard time letting her go, as she was my first relationship. I had a full-time job that required extensive commitment and required much of my time. Luckily, my job was flexible, and I was able to watch my kids while my then-wife would run off for weeks at a time, going to parties, doing drugs and, unbeknownst to me, having intimate relationships with other men and women. I realize how this sounds, but she was pretty open about drugs and partying, making it seem like a life crisis. And here's the kicker: she told everyone that we were in an "open relationship", a term I was too nieve to have heard of, and which her friends took at face value. It made her friends less likely to talk to me, thinking I was some weirdo. She was literally often times gone for WEEKS at a time. And when she's come back, she'd clear out the bank account. When we separated, it was because she left me and our two kids to move in with her "new boyfriend", which lasted for a few months. Long enough to be considered abandonment. Then it was move, move, move, until she got together with her new boyfriend, who knocked her up. I tried to give her a fair custody deal, in part because I was stupid, and in part because I was led to believe that, as the mother, she had a huge advantage with custody over me. For years and years, my ex-wife moved from place to place, taking advantage of me and badmouting me and screwing with me at every possible oppertunity. A few years back, there was an incident where she was convicted of abusing our children, leaving many physical markings on our son, who was 5 at the time. In exchange for her completing anger management and parenting classes, I didn't press for full custody. Now, years later, she started telling my son that she didn't commit the abuse, and that she didn't deserve to be on the child abuse registry. She moved in with her sister in November, then got kicked out in January. It was around that time that my son confided in me that, 1.) His mom didnt deserve to be on the child abuse registry, as she "didnt do it", and that 2.) I was the one who caused our relationship to go south, by avoiding my parental responsibilities, going out and partying, yadda yadda. Basically all the shit she did to me. In fact, I was trying to make money and be a full-time dad for our two kids, while she ran off and did these things to me. We are now in a place of her trying to go after full custody, and her trying to poison and twist the minds of our children. This has gotten much worse since she was ordered to pay $200~some~odd a month for child support, because the Court has a requirement that someone pay when the kids are on state assistance. The amount was significantly less because the Court had to impute my income. Since June of 2023, when I got diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that goes after my brain, I have had $0 in income. It's a hard disease to diagnose, but Ive gotten several second opinions, had eight MRIs, and all the experts agree: I have multiple sclerosis. My income was imputed at over $9,000 a month, while U survive off the generosity of my family. The only drama I have with them is related to how I used to defend my ex wife and let her walk all over everyone. Previously, I supported my family through hard work, bringing in, maximum, around $1500 to $2500 a month, but have struggled to get back to the point where I can work. Disability is no help, they just keep denying me. They don't want to hear about a 29-year-old with ongoing massivr fatigue problems. The Court tells me I need to be on Disability to have my income adjusted. I think my ex-wife is drugging one or both of my kids, possibly through second-hand cannabis use, but am legitimately scared to make such a claim. Every time someone has made a claim against her, it's come back to royally bite them in the ass, somehow. Meanwhile, she refuses to hold down a job, despite having a perfect-working immune system and seemingly unlikited energy, and now that she's been ordered to pay child support, the parental alienation has increased 10-fold, with my kids coming home three out of four weekends (her timr) needing to be "reset". They cuss and swear at me, as their mom has "no rules". I'm at a loss, what do you do in this sort of situation? I do have an attorney, who told me he doesn't think she'll ever be able to get 50/50, but I still worry about this, to the level of it effecting friendships and relationships with my family. I seriously have people that hate me because I put up with her. And I try, so hard, to be a good dad,, and to be always fair and not to crap-talk this woman. And with a few nasty lies, their mother seems to just uproot and wash away everything I've done, like it was nothing. It's just so defeating. They're six and ten, and I got on the most stable drug I possibly could, and have been working with physical therapy trying to get back with it. The drug I'm on doesn't make flu or covid more severe or risky, specifically because my favorite little human petri dishes are very likely to bring something home.I have no history with drugs or alcohol, or any criminal record. My name certainly isn't on the abuse registry, and I havent had an issue with CPS since I was married. I cannot tell you how many times I went out of my way, on my own dime, to provide two-way transportation to foster the relationship between these kids and their mother, believing it was best for them. I thought, maybe, eventually, she'd grow up and be a mom. For a while, I believed she was. All the while, I gave her money for food, a few times for rent, new car parts, installed by me, appliances hauled and paid for and installed, by me, trying to just help her out. All this only to find out years later that despite her not having these kids hardly at all, she was claiming that they lived with her full-time to get more assistance, and even today, she is the same crap-talking liar I had only previously seen glimpses of. After my son told me what his mother had said, I requested a copy of the previous abuse record from CPS, and come to find out, not only did she refuse the free parenting and anger management classes she was offered, even though we agreed she would take them, but she also tried to say that I left the markings on the children when CPS investigated, amongst other games. Our youngest corroborated the story perfectly to the CPS investigator at the time, according to the report, which concretely confirmed the details. After their mother refused classes, CPS ended up adding her name to the naughty list of child abusers. I strongly no longer believe that her having custody time at all is best for the children. What would you do, or have you done in a similar situation? What pitfalls do I need to avoid or not see coming? Additionally, how do you go about secretly drug testing your 10-year-old? Is there a more obvious answer? I am currently custodial, at about 80/20, with many times where she didnt take them during her time, but I fear what's in store for these kids in the coming months, when we transition to the usual 50/50 during the summer. This is a follow up to my previous post. We're both almost 21 and we had dated for almost 3 years since we were 18. I was blocked everywhere after his vague and quick dump text but I managed to contact him to find out why, because our last "fight" was him getting mad cause I took a nap and didn't answer him. And I asked why, his reasoning was that he realised he doesn't want a relationship. He said im beautiful and a great person, that he hasn't felt even one hurtful thing with me and that he would marry me. Yes, he doesn't want a relationship with me, but he said im a girl he would marry. I guess it's that easy to discard your "wife". Altough his reason for ending it is valid, I can't help but be mad. Why did you pursue me? Why did you tell me you love me and tell me how we'll live together next year when your apartment in my city is ready? Why did you stop me from breaking up with you a few times before? Why did you kiss me from head to toe (literally) telling me how in love with me you are? During those 1,030 days, didn't you think ONCE if you want a relationship right now? The worst thing out of all of this was him comparing this break up to his break up from the 10th grade in high school. This one month "relationship" he had with a girl from his class. The worst thing is, he emotionally cheated on me with this same girl. When we were already dating for a few months, he had called her and told her that he loved her. I found out many months later and something in my naive stupid teenage brain back then decided to forgive him and take him back. Huge mistake. It was even kind of funny, 3 years versus a month with no intimacy involved. He said that he got over the her back then and that he will get over the heartbreak now. We've been doing ok. I feel and see his remorse. I have zero trust and he has been incredible about allowing me every ounce of everything I need as these weeks develop, post. We're going to make it through this, over this and beyond this.
But... do I tell? It's one of the last things I feel I need before I can start putting her out of my life and mind, and truly work on reconciling and rebuilding us/trust. And I don't even care what comes of it, except to go to bed tonight knowing... he now knows too. We're even.

I'm not very good or understanding of scripts. I've looked at a bunch of scripts online that say they can do it, but when I try to add them I get errors, or don't know exactly how to make it work to do what I want. The coding of it confuses me and I really need a simple one, or an explanation of what I need to change to make it work.
I'm basically trying to find a way to have a sheet with permit expiration dates autofill and update only once a week to get around the loading times and upload limits. Right now, my IMPORTXML function for each permit tries to fetch the info too often and after a while every cell ends up as "Loading..." or "#N/A" because of the upload limits. I really only need them updated once a week since they expire every two years.
I have about 80 employees, so 80 rows. Each employee has two different permits. The below examples are just for one of the permits, but would need to update both columns, so about 160 different cells. People get added and removed often, so there is a good amount of shuffling and could be more or less than 80 people at any given time.
The setup for the sheet is basically this:
I have column named "Permit Number" which has a hyperlink to the webpage of the person's permit that has the expiration date.
=HYPERLINK("website.com", Permit Number) 
Then I have another column called "Expiration" which displays the expiration date. The IMPORTXML function pulls the webpage from the Permit Number hyperlink cell (C3 in the below example), then gets the date from that. Also note that each permit has its own webpage and unique URL.
=IMPORTXML(INDEX(SPLIT(FORMULATEXT("C3"),""""),2),"/html/body/div[2]/div/article/headediv[2]/p[4]","en_US") 
As I said, this works perfectly at first, but unfortunately it tries to update too often and leads to errors. I want to find a way to have the script just fetch the dates, then instead of providing that information, actually copy and paste it so that there is no constant fetching of data.
I also acknowledge that trying to run more than like 20 IMPORTXML functions at once usually leads to delays, so if there is anyway around that, I would love to know.

Hello, I'm quite new to inventory management softwares, and I've been looking into some, but struggling to find what I need, without it just being overly expensive for our needs. One of our more real needs, aside from just basic inventory counts, is being able to sign in/out items to our "customers".
Now our business is working with college students, and we let them borrow items that we have( Powerbanks, sporting equipment, tools) and currently we just write down on paper who signed out what, at what day/time, and when returned.
Ideally what we would like is the following example situation - a student comes up, wants to borrow a power bank. Our Customer Service Rep, would then grab our scanning device(phone/tablet), scan barcode of item being borrowed, followed by entering in the students information, date/time and preferably being able to take a picture of either the student or their id. Then when the item is returned, just scanning the barcode again and that it.
We have 3 campuses we would like to be doing this system with, so being able to keep the items from each campus separate, but able to move them between each campus on the back end would be extremely beneficial.
Currently I've started to set up some of this with sortly using the free version, but I'm struggling to find how to sign in/out items without it just being assigned to a pre-created person.
Any help/recommendations would be extremely appreciated.

So I have had pimples/acne since I was like 15, around 8 years now. I havent ever been diagnosed with acne and fortunately I dont have cystic acne or anything like that.
I want a girl, but I dont want to go on a date because of my pimples.
I am sick of feeling trapped by my skin, its so not fair - I always think positively about my skin that one day I will have perfect korean skin, but as hard as I try... it never comes.
I have tried literally EVERYTHING under the sun, that is natural or an easily accessible topical, and have forever avoided pharmaceutical drugs, however I am so sick of it, I almost dont care for the consequences of them anymore.
I havent tried many prescription topicals, only 1 and it made my skin burn like crazy.
I have combination skin and its sooooo sensitive its no joke.
Anything you can think of when it comes to diet and lifestyle, I have tried.
I currently am living such a strict diet/lifestyle, for 2 months and right now I am having one of the worst breakouts on my neck and jawline I have ever seen,
For the last 1.5 years, I have hardly eaten any dairy, milk, bready products - try avoid gluten.
I work out almost every day, go for a walk every day, I work from home and my business does well so I don't stress about money, I drink 3-4L of water a day. I never ever ever drink anything else other than water, I refuse.
Right now my diet is less than 20 ingredients (and it has been this way for 2 months)
chicken, turkey, rice, potato, capsicum, onion, garlic, grapes, mandarin, egg, egg whites, salt, virgin olive oil (expensive as possible)
I kid you not, this is what I have eaten for 2 months while working out almost every day, walking every day, getting some sun almost every day, drinking 3-4l of water per day.
As for my skincare routine, I wash my face morning and night, and moisturize after.
Once a week I do a nose pore strip and a hydrating facial mask - which admittedly irritates my skin a little but never breaks out after, always looks much more hydrated and tight the next day or two - so I keep doing it.
This is getting beyond a joke, I have tried so many different things.

I know Spain recently updated the law, giving teleworkers working in spain (even if they do not work for a Spanish company) the option to register as "non-residents" for tax purposes, but I can't seem to find a similar update in Pais Vasco.
Anyone have experience with this? I saw that the 15% exemption has been increased to 30%, but how to actually qualify still seems a bit ambiguous?
I've also seen that the so called Beckham Law supercedes regional provisions - so maybe just sticking to that is the best?

I'm in my thirties, but have only recently realized my father is a narcissist. It was hard to figure out because he exhibits behaviors of a Covert Narcissist. He's a major love-bomber, especially after he's fucked up. His rage is biblical and when he sees red, he'll destroy whatever is in his path. When angry at my mother, he ran through her china set (from her deceased gma) and shattered them all against the wall. When angry at my brother, he ripped a monitor from the desk and chucked it down the stairs. When angry at me, he grabbed me by the shirt and threw me against the wall. Countless inanimate objects in our house were obliterated by his fists, some purposefully so for their sentimental value.
Another fun aspect about my NDad, is that he's a Phd. trained psychologist and has been practicing for 30+ years. His emotional manipulation is lethal, he has all the tools.
We went NC Fall of 2021 when our family doctor was arrested for sexual assault.
Among the doctor's many victims, one was my siblings, we'll call them Jordan. When it was happening, my father didn't believe them, despite Jordan saying how "gross" the doctor was and how they didn't like how he interacted with them. When Jordan said they wanted to change doctors (at 16, 10+ years into the abuse), my NDad didn't help. He thought they were overreacting. My mother helped Jordan find a new doctor.
Ndad continued to see the doctor for years, and only stopped once the doctor was arrested and stripped of their medical license. When the news broke, he never brought it up with my Jordan. He just pretended nothing happened, until my Jordan finally confronted Ndad.
When they did, he flipped out. Ndad called Jordan an asshole. Told them "you were speaking in code, how was I supposed to know?" Screamed at Jordan to be nicer. Ndad was hurt that Jordan would suggest Ndad was a bad dad. Jordan hung up, and my Ndad never called back. Reminder: Ndad is a therapist. I don't think that meant he should have seen the signs, but shouldn't he know how to navigate afterward? Shouldn't he understand that his child's health is more important than his experience?
I heard about this, I'm very close to Jordan. When I confronted Ndad on his behavior he said, he deflected. He took some credit for things, but never the big stuff. Never anything that would suggest he acted deplorably.
I kept initiating conversation over the period of weeks, trying to understand. All I wanted was for my Ndad to say sorry. To do something human like "Hey I fucked up. Big time." But the more we talked the more he twisted the narrative. It started with the small poking of holes in Jordan's story, then slowly easing into "it was all a big misunderstanding" and "really we all fucked up, you know?" and finally: "Well you know how Jordan gets. They're very emotional."
It got to the point where I felt like I had to choose whether to believe Jordan or my Ndad. I chose Jordan. Because I know who my father is.
I took space from my Ndad. Shit was crazy in my life, I quit my job, I had just decided to move across states with my then girlfiend (now fiancé). All the while, my Ndad was sending me emails about how awesome I am, how great I am, how much of a hard worker I am, how intelligent I am, and how much he misses me and that his children are what's most important to him, and that it really sucks he doesn't have a relationship with his kids. More than anything he "wants me to heal on my terms, and prays for that healing." During this time, he kept sending emails about "interesting news articles" and books he was reading. Pretending nothing was happening.
In the winter, I told him that I was moving to another state with my fiancé, some 1,200 miles away. Nothing. All the while, he kept emailing me every two weeks or so his "interesting" news articles and updates on what he was doing in life.
That summer, I had my uhaul packed, quit my job and was about to move away from my home state, away from Ndad's state. I still hadn't received anything about it from my NDad. So I asked him, "Did you see that email where I said I was moving away?"
At first he pretended that he he never got it, so I forwarded him the email (of which he replied to with his news articles). He said, "Oh, that one!" then jumped into his love bomb routine: you're the best, you're gonna do great, you're so smart. Etc.
I was confused. How can a father who says that their children are the most important thing in the world to them, ignore the fact that their child is moving away? And if his children are the most important, why does his narrative always take precedent?
I told him: I was hurt. It hurt my feelings that I told you I was moving away and you said nothing. I was confused. It doesn't add up.
He wouldn't even respond. Just moved past it. Pretended I said nothing. Moved onto other topics, "Hey check out this podcast!"
I doubled down and asked him why he didn't respond to my question.

It's like nothing's happened. He just wants to return to business as usual. He wants me to come to the wedding and pretend for him that everything is fine. He wants me to just forget everything that's happened. It's always about him. Always.
When I received the email, I felt nothing. Like stumbling upon a complete stranger's invite. I truly wish him happiness. I hope he has a nice wedding. I'm just not going. This feels like another tactic, another instance of him just wanting to move on. He did it in the past with "being in town" and a medical scare he had.
I don't know why I wrote this. Maybe to just vent. More than anything, the part of his narc personality that makes me crazy, and makes me second guess myself, is his ability to "move on." Makes me feel like I'm the one with the problem. It's like he's just waiting me out, hoping I'll get tired of this whole thing and accept him for who/what he is. But I can't. I can't stand the sight of him. And I can't imagine having a conversation with him.
I seldom identify with this notion, but as a man, I have 0 respect for him. Father to son, human to human, how can a man treat someone they "respect" that way? Truth is, I want nothing to do with him solely because I don't respect him.

It's been a long time since I last used Reddit, but this has been on my mind lately and I wanted to know what other people think about this since It's a really sensitive topic for me and I just can't stop thinking about it.
I (16M) have my best friend (19F) who broke up with her boyfriend (17M) some months ago, I'll call her Lucy, and her ex, Jack.
A lot of things happened for them to break up, I'll try to keep it short.
First of all, Jack and I met when I was 12 through an Instagram group since we both liked art and that stuff. Lucy was already my friend by some months by that time, and we both hated Jack. He was extremely racist, homophobic, transphobic, everything. There was not a single good thing about this man. He used to sexualize me for being a trans guy, commenting gross things on my posts whenever it had my face, and much more.
And for some reason, Lucy and him ended up dating. I don't know how. But I accepted it since she was my best friend and thought "well if she's happy then I'll just keep up with it".
At the same time, I was in a relationship with a guy (16M), through the internet. I'll keep it short, he sexually abused me, deteriorated my mental health, cheated on me 3 times, and this is just the beginning.
Lucy and Jack knew about this, but Lucy couldn't help me because I was 12, whenever she would've talked to me about his toxic behavior I'd just brush it off because I "loved him" and he was just confused or whatever excuse I'd find to keep him as the good guy.
And including Jack wouldn't let me and Lucy talk a lot since he would get "jealous" saying that he "wanted to be my best friend" and not her. He would check her chats and see our conversation and TEXT THROUGH THEM to try and talk to me when I wouldn't answer him.
Time passed by and I got off that relationship when I was 14, met someone else at that time and started dating them. But it was kind of toxic too, we broke up once because I couldn't communicate properly, then he came back and asked me to try again, he broke up again with me because "distance wasn't his thing". So I let him go.
He made a lot of gross comments about my at the time boyfriend, and kept sexualizing me and trying to make my boyfriend leave me just because "he was there first."
I had it and blocked him, I spent months having to deal with his non stopping messages about how sorry he was through Lucy, since she was kinda by his side.
Well, some months ago he broke up with her because, in his words, he couldn't handle being with her because he still missed me a lot and the fact she was my best friend made him feel miserable.
Oh well.
Time passed by and some weeks ago Lucy told me she found something I might wanna see, when I checked her messages she had sent me screenshots of her ex talking shit about me in a DISCORD SERVER. I guess he was having another conversation when he said this because things before don't make sense, so I'll quote exactly what he said to like a hundred of people in that server about me:
" Oh yeah, I had a friend who fell in love with a 17 year old chilean guy when she was 14. I mean, 14 when she started dating him. But I guess they actually started having something when she was 13."
The others changed topics, and he kept on talking, but now about my newest ex.
" Because she was a dumbass blinded by love and she forgave him 3 times. She doesn't knows how to live without someone's love. "
Again changed topics, and he talked again.
" And she had the audacity to stop talking to me just because of her boyfriend. Just because he was from the USA and German. Just because she's a gold digger, to get a better future and blah blah blah."
" But then I'm the bad guy, he breaks up with her because he got bored and when I do something slightly bad I'm blocked from fucking everywhere, and the fucking stupid bitch forgives him and not me."
"So she's just a bitch with no self-love."
First of all, I wasn't 14, I was 13 when that guy was 17, and started "dating" when I was 12.
Second of all, he changed the whole story to keep as the "cool nice guy" in front of his friends. And not only that, he used female pronouns on me knowing I've been a trans guy since I was 9. There's no excuse to call me "she" when he knew from the moment he met me.
It's humiliating to know he told everyone about it, and I got an Instagram notification about him taking screenshots of old NSFW drawings I did of me and my groomer when I was 13, and showed to him because I didn't know who else to tell since Lucy wouldn't talk to me because of him.
I feel gross and I honestly don't know what to do. He texted all those things on December 2023, and it's been months since then but I don't know if I should do something. I feel like letting go is the best option but I can't stop thinking about how he's just spreading the SA I went through to everyone and I'm just here, suffering the consequences of it. Since when I was 14 I went through the same at school because of my cousin who looked through my phone and found erotic pictures of me and conversations I used to have with my groomer and told everyone the next day. I was harassed for months.

Hey everyone, so I just wanted to share about this blind date I went on with 15 girls. It was quite epic, lasting about an hour and a quarter. Let me dive in without giving away too much because, you know, can't spill all the tea on each conversation as this post will be super long. So, about a month before this, can we talk (those guys who make card decks with questions for games? )They announced a blind date edition, and I was intrigued. Being someone who doesn't usually approach women upfront or without a friend, I decided to dare myself and try this random thing. It cost UGX 80,000 which came with an alcoholic cocktail, a non-alcoholic drink, and snacks like meatballs and other stuff I don’t remember.
I didn't go expecting to find love; I just wanted good conversations and to see how it'd turn out. I've been watching a lot of blind date videos on YouTube, like on the Cut's series "The Button," and it seemed exciting, more about the conversations than love. So, I signed up and told my friends because I couldn't go alone to something so scary—like, who does blind dates in Uganda, right?
I showed up at Milk and Mar in Kololo, a beautiful place with a beautiful view,I did celebrate my birthday with one of my exs in the past before in that same place so it was firmiliar .My two friends and I were the first there, then a guy walked in, thinking he wouldn't find his friends but found us instead. He tried to be discreet, but it was funny to see his reaction.
Later, an older lady walked in and gave us sweets, which felt like a way to bribe us to give her some leverage ,until the organizers arrived. There was a bell in the middle of the room and those cocktail like tables on the sides ,the ladies remained seated while the men moved each time the bell rang, so we all got to chat for about 5mins - 7min .All the ladies were awesome and we had really good conversations. There was just one girl who was really keen on leaving with a potential date, which I didn't quite agree with. I believe friendship should be pure, without a strong expectation of dating.
Overall, blind dates are actually pretty cool, and while most Ugandans might find them weird, you can still enjoy a conversation without the pressure of dating. So, if anyone here wants to go on a blind date with me with no expectations, hit me up in the DMs!
