Debut film for Canadian director Ariane Louis-Seize who directs an adolescent film, a coming of age film with horror comedy tinges where issues such as suicide, bullying and oppression are addressed. Sasha is a vampire who doesn't want to kill, her fangs are slow to sprout, she is oppressed by her family, except a little for her father who represents parental oppression, the desire to force her daughter to grow up according to dogmas. Paul is a bullied boy who has no friends and is depressed. Both characters are suicidal and would like to end it hence their meeting and the future story between the two. It's interesting how Ariane Louis-Seize plays with the sexual references between the two characters. Sasha is unable to let out fangs, he is compassionate and would not want to kill, the presence of Paul, seeing him in danger however acts as an erection as on such occasions the fangs come out. It is therefore the female character who has to penetrate her partner, reversing the sexual dynamic. By its vampire nature, the film has a dark style and photography, the packaging, the basic staging is actually good. Due to the tendencies that Sasha and Paul have, their character, the underlying depression and melancholy, the pace of the film is cadenced and the direction also opts a lot for fixed shots. There are overtakes that work like the one in Sasha's room where the warm light slowly comes into the background. It's a debut film so the style is to be defined, certainly some moments could have been more rhythmic and perhaps more daring could have been done with the presence of blood and the dynamics of the vampire bites. Even other moments may perhaps be a little uncertain, such as when a boy at the bowling alley going to collect the glass of the broken glass in a dynamic. However, the direction manages to instill a staging and an underlying melancholy atmosphere, even if perhaps some visual sparks are missing that Ariane Louis-Seize will be able to develop in the future, the director already seems to have a good eye. Of particular note is the good camera movement towards the end when Sasha thinks of Paul in danger of growing fangs, alluding to the typically male masturbatory dynamic. Sasha and Paul, their alchemy works, a film pervaded by this depressed air although it has lightness as it is a teen comedy but where issues that are not light are addressed. Cute, we look forward to Ariane Louis-Seize's next works with curiosity

Im part of this sub for a long time now and it feels so refreshing finding people that love games and likes to share they're hobby with others, both who can afford a game or gifts and who can't. The community its amazing and im gratefull to be part of it :D .
Today im here asking for help on getting Diablo IV! but lets deep-dive into the request a bit...shall we?
What is Diablo IV?:
Well, even if you're not an RPG or in this case, ARPG fan, you probably heard in your life about Diablo! it's probably the most famous ARPG of all times, it's been out for more than 20 years now and even with the latest up's and down's of the title in the past years, it's probably one of the best in its genre. For this reason i won't really make a wall of text about it, because im gonna be real, im a new player of ARPG's (beside playing some diablo 2/3 and path of exile years ago), the first one i took seriously was Last Epoch 1 month and half ago (amazing title, i suggest it to everyone that loves this type of games) so i don't really know a lot about Diablo IV lore, story, campaign etc. I kept spoilers away from me, because i think beauty of this genre, sometimes is to explore it by yourself without people telling you what to do and how to do at first.
Why i am requesting it now?:
As i said im a big fan of RPG's, MMORPG's and now recently ARPG's made space into my list of games that im loving and im starting to appreciate any one of them (beside Path of Exile where its still a bit hard for me, one day...one day).
I recently reached the "end" of the current Last Epoch "Season / Cycle" for the characters i made and i was looking deep into the genre, Diablo is game that i already played in the past (with diablo 2 maybe 3 even, years ago when i was a young boy) and i always had a great time playing it, also it's currently one of the two games on the market that's pretty new player friendly (like Last Epoch) and i heard/readed that they're improving the game a lot with the next seasons coming up in the next months, so this is probably the best time to jump in and learn the mechanics of this title and have fun with my friends or solo eventually, so to be prepared to the next big major content update for the game.
Im looking forward to play Barbarian class and then...we'll see heheh (im addicted to big muscle and big weapons characters ahah). I love the graphic, the enviroments, the aesthetic and the whole settings of the campaign (from what i saw on the steam trailer between last year and this week), it gives me a lot of old school rpg's vibes, also the character customization and combat seems amazing, really good to see.
Why im asking for your help currently?:
As you can imagine, right now, i don't have enough money to buy a copy of the game, even when it goes on sale still a price that i can't really afford. My job is not stable and every income i have goes towards my family, the bills and the GeForce Now subscription (cloud gaming platform that i use to play games on my old laptop, since my main computer died during the covid era and i couldn't buy a new one). Unfortunately i never had the opportunity to get the game even at launch or during 2023/early this year and it went out on sale always when i was short on money for gaming.
For this reason im asking for your help and for your generosity once again, since i met a lot of good people around here and all of them were great.

An overview of Gukesh's performance and progress
I'm writing his name in western naming convention because unlike some other Indian names, particularly Tamil names like Viswanathan Anand where Anand is his given name and Viswanathan is his father's name, Gukesh is Telugu and has a regular surname/family name and given name. I've lived in the Telugu-speaking state of Telangana, where they write names in the western format of given name first.
Gukesh Dommaraju is a name that first caught my ear back in 2021, almost three years ago, when he played in the Goldmoney Asian Rapid, one of the events of the online chess tour. I used to follow GothamChess's awesome recap videos during the pandemic, and I remember Levy briefly talking about Gukesh, who was only 15 at the time. Then I forgot about him for a while, until some time in mid 2022, when Gukesh became one of the youngest players ever to cross 2700 rating during the Biel Chess Festival. A month later, he shook up the world with his unforgettable performance in the Olympiad on board 1, going 8/8 and winning the gold medal.
Ever since, the chess world has had an eye on Gukesh, as we were all eager to see how far this young prodigy would go. And I believe that he has managed to exceed everyone's expectations so far. I wanted to take a look at Gukesh's progress in the past year and a half. After his rise in 2022, he earned himself an invite to Tata Steel in 2023, which would be his debut in top level events and his first big test against the world's elite. Although he didn't fare too well, scoring only 1.5 points in the first seven games, he recovered well and won two games to score 4 points in the next 6 games.

In the very next month, he played in the WR Masters tournament and did super well, tying for first with 5.5/9 but losing to Aronian in tiebreaks. After that, he then had a hot streak of months where he was playing in every tournament under the sun. This includes =2nd in Sharjah, 3rd in Norway Chess, and reaching the quarterfinals of the World Cup. With these results, he broke into the top for the first time, dethroned Anand from India's no. 1 spot, and also rose towards the top of the FIDE Circuit leaderboards. Towards the end of the year, when the Candidates race became really intense, he underperformed with poor results in Qatar and the Grand Swiss, but after a disappointing showing in London, he finally clutched up and won in Chennai to top the Circuit.
I imagine he felt very relieved after the pressure of qualifying to the Candidates was finally over. In his second appearance in Tata Steel, he gave a smashing performance, winning 6 games, scoring 8.5/13 and tying for first. Unfortunately, he again came short on tiebreaks, finishing 2nd after beating Anish but losing to Wei Yi (why is Gukesh so often involved in big ties for first?). Towards the end of last year, his rating had dropped from 2758 to 2720, but after Tata Steel he was back up to 2743 and he was ready for the Candidates, his biggest test yet.
Despite all of Gukesh's successes, he was considered an underdog in the Candidates. At 17, he was the youngest player in tournament, and actually one of the youngest Candidates ever (I believe only Fischer at 16 in Curacao 1962 was younger). With players like Fabi, Hikaru and Nepo, who were playing in their 5th, 3rd and 3rd Candidates respectively, and who were all returning from the last Candidates, the trio was considered the clear favourites to win the event. And to an extent, this presumption was not entirely wrong, as all three of them scored 8.5/14, a score that was enough to win the Candidates in 2014, 2016 and 2021, and would've also been enough in 2018 and 2022. But it wasn't enough this time.
Gukesh, the unpredictable wild card factor of the event, outshone them all. Losing only one game in the entire tournament, he won 5 games, was never worse in any of his games, and he scored 9/14.
A rise to the top like Gukesh's comes about very rarely in history. I can only compare it to legends of the game like Fischer, Carlsen or Morphy. When he was just 11, a young boy dared to dream. And the rest, is history.

A awesome training tool was the PlayStation tournament section. A bunch of really good thrown in to a 16man tournament. That actually helped me alot facing extrem good tekken player. Also finding a chill community who won't cry literally 24/7 about everything In the game. Just a bunch of boys who want good ass tekken. Personal highlights were offline sessions in Berlin with a accutal pro player.
If you dont like the game. Quit! If you enjoy the grind go seek for similar people. You will improve extreme quickly.

My gf (19) and me (20m) have been dating for almost 2 years. For anonymity we’ll call her “Mary” me and Mary started dating in late 2022. Previous to her I had dated a girl who for anonymity we’ll call “Liz” I broke up with Liz to date Mary. Because I felt I couldn’t trust Liz to be loyal.
Mary is bisexual which I thought was really cool when we started dating because even the small possibility of a threesome sounded amazing. When we started dating I had 2 other bodies and Mary had 0. It took a very long time for us to be able to be intimate with each other due to her being a virgin. Even after I took her v card the sex wasn’t good and hasn’t ever been very good. I know this might sound douchey. But I’ve only ever heard compliments from previous partners. I was always able to make them finish and last for 20+ minutes. But ever since me and Mary started being intimate I’ve never been able to make her finish. The douchey part about it is I refuse to believe I’m at fault. It felt like I had been roping her for our entire relationship and that in of itself made me s*icidal. Even now almost a whole year later it still hurts me to think abt. When I read those messages immediately left Mary’s house without waking her up or saying bye. I went home and played videos games with my cousin and best friend and told them what had happened. They were just as shocked and told me I needed to confront her and discuss it with her. When she woke up I texted her saying how I found the messages and wanted to break up. She apologized profusely and said it meant nothing, and said what she said abt us wasn’t true and she wishes she could take it back. I told her I can’t see her for a while and don’t even know if I still love her. I took a week or 2 away to see how I felt. I decided to take her back and forgive her. Why? U may ask. Because I love her and I want to have kids and a future with her. This is when prob my biggest regret is. That night I saw her we were intimate…a lot, and she was more enthusiastic about it then she ever had been. I knew it was about of pity. I knew I shouldn’t. I still did. Because I’m weak. She had cut off Liz and we were trying to get back to normal. I don’t remember how because that whole time was such a blur but Liz and Mary became friends AGAIN. I know I said it was okay. I just don’t remember the context behind it at all. Unfortunately. The problem is I’m very nonchalant and it’s hard for me to stay mad at things because everything feels so small to me. The reason I’m making this post is because I need to know if I’m crazy. Anyways. Fast forward to December of 2023. Me n Mary were going through a rough patch. A 2-4 month long rough patch. I just didn’t see her the same and still held resentment. We agreed to take a break from each other. The night before we broke up I went through her phone…and you’ll never guess what I found. YEP THE SAME EXACT THING. Them having an emotional affair. But this time on top of that. Mary stated that she was going to break up with me so she could be with Liz. That’s not what she told me. Obviously she said she wanted to take time away from each other and then get back together. When I saw this I was livid that this could happen 3 TIMES!!! This 1 didn’t hurt me as much because we were breaking up anyways. So when we broke up I had no intention getting back together with her. she still kept in contact with me reminding me she loved me and that she wanted to get back together. Funny part is. We were intimate more often during that time than we were when we were in a relationship. I’m sure there’s a reason why. But I couldn’t tell u. I’m sure someone else knows why.
1 of the last times we hooked up I looked through her phone. But this time I actually got a pleasant surprise. Mary said she didn’t want to date Liz and wanted to be with me. Liz obviously furious blocked her. But don’t worry not for very long. We ended up getting back together and she still to this day doesn’t know what I found the night before we broke up. We got back together in January. In February Mary and Liz became friends again. Mary continued to ask for a threeesome even after I said no. She said it would make our s*x life so much better and more fun. She wouldn’t talk to me and would belittle me whenever I would say no. She would withhold being intimate because I said no. Watching Dead Boy Detectives, season 1, episode 4. At the 29:10, Jenny Green (played by Briana Cuoco) is listening to a pretty fuckin' stellar song. So I go to the app SoundHound and hope I can get a read off of it.
Bada-bing bada-boom, Nineoneone gets tagged & the song is "Fire Escape." The label "post-punk" is slapped behind it so I come here to get more info since the interweb has let me down after an exhaustive 10 minute search where I went to Wikipedia first.
So what's their story? What other band(s) are they associated to? Is this show giving them their big break? Have been in anything else? Have been on any other college radio or Indie play stations or shows like KCRW? Where are they from (going to wild guess and say Bristol, England).

so i don't think it's really a conspiracy at this point to say there's a missing launch trailer out there somewhere. the still from the battlepass ive edited Sir Frog Detective from is clearly from an unreleased animated trailer, and several of the voicelines currently in play reference events as though we were witness to them:
Lifeline: "You best not shove me in a broom closet again!" / "You're lucky I'm helping ya after what you did to us."
Alter, to Mirage: "Wakey wakey...I need you awake and fighting! Or I can hit you with a grenade like last time."
And whilst Newcastle's interactions with her don't get as specific or reference any one event, he seems to be really harping on her about one thing:
Newcastle, to Alter: "C'mon now, no teammate is disposable, you hear?." / "Hey, thanks! Knew you could be a team player." / "I got ya. Cuz *every teammate matters." / "Thanks for this. See? Teamwork makes the dreamwork!"*
the text for the loading screen also references several things, but I just want to highlight this one for now:
[from Horizon's POV] 'I remember the young woman in E-District, taunting me about my boy and showing me the card that got her into Apex Games.'
obviously, we have seen none of these things happen yet. so what gives? why didn't they upload this launch trailer? did they forget? are they having a licensing issue with music they're using for it? was it unfinished? deleted by the animation company out of spite?
well, i present to you my conspiracy theory:
Apex was supposed to release a new map this season. It didn't work out.
firstly: this horizon and alter battlepass screen does not appear to be set in any known location. now, full disclaimer, i straight up don't play mixtape so i'm unfamiliar with its maps. it looks to be inside a large facility or in an outdoor industrial area of some sort, though details are hard to see. i thought at first flance it was artillery on KC but the area is incredibly dark, and i don't see why a trailer would randomly set it at night. but to be honest, i don't really need to speculate if this is from an unknown area, because--
the characters reference Suotamo several times, either in voicelines or loading screens:
Alter, to Lifeline: "You're not good at this, are you? Reminds me of Suotamo."
In the referenced line from earlier: 'I remember the young woman in E-District, taunting me about my boy and showing me the card that got her into Apex Games.'
as we know, E-District / Electro District is an area of Suotamo; specifically, the power grid, which had been affected by that storm on Gaea. this area apparently contains a tower that would've been incredibly useful to Horizon, as she reflects in her loading screen:
Horizon "[...] That bloody tower in Electro District was the only thing that might've worked!"
[Mirage] "And, uh, I guess the blackouts and Void creep kinda took those out of the equation huh?"
unfortunately, i don't have any more loading screens unlocked, so i don't know if there are many more concrete references, but to me, this paints a clear enough picture:
this season was supposed to debut Suotamo. from everything we know, what happened in the trailer was probably-
Alter enters the Games, perhaps as Newcastle's teammate. She treats their third (either Lifeline or Mirage, both are equally as likely) as disposable which prompts Newcastle to make all his slightly passive aggressive comments in-game. they are in Suotamo for whatever reason; perhaps as a result of what has happened on Broken Moon, leaving the games one arena short. then one of two things happen: 1.) Alter notices the damage done to Suotamo, specifically E-Distritct and decides to make it Worse, or 2.) she single-handedly fucks up Suotamo once again.
I am leaning towards option 1, because of the way Mirage describes the situation, referencing both the blackouts occuring and Alter contributing. Whatever she does destroys a tower in E-District, and possibly endangers others' lives (cue Lifeline's voiceline about 'what ya did to us', though that could easily also be referencing Alter's poor treatment of her teammates; or perhaps her poor treatment of them occured during this moment.)
and then, at some point, Horizon pulls a gun on Alter. this could either be because Alter destroyed the tower in E-District, which she needed, or because Alter taunted Horizon about Newton.
outside of discussing the theoretical events of the trailer; Suotamo has been building up for a couple of seasons. there are many references to it in wattson's town takeover and we have been told some locations (E-District, Old Town). we also saw what looks a lot like a finished or near-finished map 6 months ago in kill code part 4.
this may also explain why the teasers for this season were kind of sparse until being dumped on us last minute: there were supposed to be map teasers, too. we did technically get the BM changes and "Olympus" crashing into BM but...this event feels, like, really understated by everyone? nobody is really reacting all that much in the lore to BM's changes except for Seer and Catalyst in the first chapter, and judging by the description, they may be the only ones reacting.
here's what i think happened: due to unforseen circumstances, Suotamo's release had to be pushed back. the original plan was for Suotamo to debut, and then for BM's map update to debut after it either in the season split or in the next season. major map changes after events like this have put maps out of rotation for a while. however, since Suotamo was unexpectedly pushed back, but BM's changes were ready to go, they decided to move it up.
this is why nobody is really reacting at all to an alternate-universe Olympus crashing into BM, and are instead referencing Suotamo: Suotamo was supposed to be, like, The Thing this season. and this season's quest may be about Seer and Catalyst discovering the truth about what happened to BM...which would have been revealed next season.
all of this means that the team suddenly has a launch trailer showcasing a map that is not in the game, and will not be coming out for a minute, so they pull it. and since BM's map changes were supposed to debut next season, they did not have a trailer for that ready yet, so now we get no launch trailer at all.
obviously, a lot of this is a tinfoil hat conspiracy. i think there is definitely A trailer out there, taking place in Suotamo, where Alter destroys something and shoves Lifeline in a broom closet and gets a gun pulled on her by Horizon, but i don't know for sure if a map was supposed to come out this season and that BM's map changes were moved up early due to its delay. but it is simply the explanation that makes the most sense to me.

A conversation with a few friends of mine some skins have certain audiences to them and certain people will pick them more than others that's just the nature of people, and sometimes these people can be fit into certain groups, and certain stereotypes which is also nature of people. So I will be talking about these stereotypes, with 4-8 champs at a time depending on how many skins they have, starting with- Not androxus- but some general skin types etc.
Let me start off by saying that stereotypes are broad, and over generalized by nature, and not everyone is the same we're not Buzz Lightyear here, at the very least these are meant for fun.

Basic Recolours

The recolours you can buy for gold often attract semi-new players those that got the champions they like and often will spend "extra" gold on recolours.
They're most likely new at the game, or at the very least their champion.
Certain recolours will be brought up again per champion if they add anything different or have a different stereotype.

System Recolours/Promotional Recolours

So these guys probably are more likely to be even newer than the basic recolours since they got them from linking accounts or following/subscribing to different social media and all that.

Mastery/Gold Skins

Assuming it's gold they're probably confident in their skill with a champion and want to display that, but with the obsidian and cosmic ones they tend to be the same as basic and promotional recolours.

Invitational/Event Recolours

Okay so we're done with recolours after this I promise but often these are old school players, often ignoring the actual quality of skins to more say that's when they were around.

Hats

Hats are kinda the same as the event/invitation recolours but they can also be found on new players who got the hat from a chest, in general if they have a proper skin they'll dump these for the skin so at the very least that leaves semi experienced players who finds the frog hat more funny than they do the cowboy cool.

Androxus

It's fair to say that Android is the poster boy of paladins and since he's relatively old he's got a lot of skins over the years and he's got quite the audience, I mean really he's the guy they show on the splash art of the game like imagine little Timmy seeing his older brother playing Androgenous "Who's the cool guy with the revolver and horns?" And his brother is like "That's my main Abolitionist" and then next game Timmy is playing Angrosist.
And they're very against nerfs every time pretending it'll kill Ambrosia and every time he's just fine maybe the fact he's got a solid baseline kit means he's not struggling when nerfs come knocking. Either way it doesn't stop the complaints.
Often Anglo (Okay the bits running thin) players take themselves seriously, whether you should depends, and depends alot. But he does inevitably attract edgelords, assholes, and blowhards.

Exalted

Exalted Andros tend to hold themselves in high regard but at the same time tend to suck, they bought this skin since it was cheap and with it are often not that great.

Imperator

So imperator is basically the same as exalted in looks but it does have the caveat that it's actually not as readily available which means someone has to make a active choice to run this, these guys are pretty much more for simplicity and class over complexity and fancy stuff, this means you'll see them play pretty good Andro where they'll stick to the stuff that works rather than flashy montage worthy stuff, they can do these but they more prefer understated competency over flashy nonsense.

Screech

This is a hat that actually has a stereotype since it's not apart of a chest it's from the deal of the day that makes a difference to who is using it. These guys are mostly raging blowhards, they think they're gods at the game but they're not as good as they believe, like antlers they say crap but not enough to get banned. This changes to just normal tryhards when they get their hands on shattermaw, almost every Andro with this skin and shattermaw are more interested in shitting on you and moving on to the next, they really only do really good in casuals without comms, but they can get work done in ranked.

Cangaceiro

Okay so this guy either uses the Shatter Maw and same deal as Screech Andro's or they run they Huntsman's gun and if you get to talk to them in a party or something they'll cry about how the pirate skins in Paladins Strike aren't ported over to paladins. It's weird and it's specific. They do tend to be nicer and less serious than Screech Andros.

Huntsman

These are the most average Andro's in existence, they certainly exist but they're not too interesting all considering. They're not bad or good, or particularly toxic or nice or anything like that, they just exist.

Steam Demon

I mean there's a Young Frankenstein joke to be made here. But Andro's running the steam demon skin tend to be uptight and expect people to carry their own weight... Of course the chance they tend to mess up they go silent, they're not rude perse but they sure do expect a lot.

Fallen

These are the guys who listened to Nightcore- Angel with a shotgun too much and will be very melodramatic, and tend to be almost always a downer for the team, they do clutch up though so something to be said.

Battlesuit Godslayer

No one really uses this skin if they have others, really this skin doesn't sell the gundam vibes the others do maybe it's because of his waistcost flowing back there but really he just looks like a guy in a robot suit

Steelforged/Dragonforged

These Andros are just as dramatic as Fallen Andros but they seem to be in on the joke and often will more be self aware, they will be playing like some viking bagpipe metal music so it's not all good with them.

Avatar

These guys probably blame their support and will unironically quots the skin, not realizing it's making fun of them. They also probably are tickled by the fact it looks likr a Xbox 360

Modded

Now often with battlepass skins their recolours are basically the same stereotype normally but for Modded these guys have basically brain rotten themselves down to the same level with their obsession with RGB lights.

Exterminate

Yeah another skin no one uses really, unless they're really interested in the cat in his backpack otherwise it's just not really a great skin since it's just a guy in a dragon ball z kai uniform without the cool ass powers and literal royalty free music.

Grave Danger

This is Kinda like omen it's not as self aware but it's hard to take this skin more seriously than default and these guys tend to be chill but it's a newer skin so it's not exactly like there's room to have a stereotype yet, which is fair but still other skins still have stereotypes that formed same day as their release.

Golden

Now it's rare that a gold skin that doesn't change something about a character shows up but this is widespread since every Andro on earth who runs this will almost always have a bloated ego, whether it's 50 or 550 these guys are super quick to be offended and will tunnel the shit out of you for just about anything.

Ash

Ash is weirdly uncommon despite being free, probably because everyone is running at point with her and she basically loses that engagement to every proper point tank, she is a offtank first and foremost after all.
As for stereotypes there is a few thing that I've noticed with Ash's (Ashes? Ashs? Ash players) First is if they're running the default voice pack even with other skins they're definitely offtanking.
And another oddity is the Ash mains that have more than one skin tend to never properly match their weapons and skins up, it's weird but every other Ash main I see runs a different weapon and skin.

Heirloom Crest

So I bring this hat up because unlike anyone else with a hat skin no one wears this, honestly it should just come with a different version of Ronin but really this is the exception to the hatskin rule, these guys are just new players who got it from a chest and felt justified in using it because they spent crystals on a chest.

Ronin

Ronin Ash players kinda just suck, it can be a matter of many different things as to why these guys struggle, they could suck at shooting people, they could be bad at positioning, trying to point tank, they're using their abilities at shit times, they could be great with all of that and still they'll have a terrible deck and talents.
These guys just suck

Xenobuster

Xenobuster Ash players tend to run into fights they shouldn't and lose, this more or less comes from the overuse of shoulder bash, otherwise they're probably running knock back spam, they're most likely to be found on TDM Throne or Abyss trying to wait around corners to throw you off. They will go spastic if you buy sentinel.

Street Style

These guys are meatheats, they're less interested in actually capturing the point and more just want teamfights, the objective and space are biproducts, as such you'll see these guys with really selfish buys, and decks, and they'll steal kills with slugshot, they're not doing it intentionally but they are rude.

Ska'Drin

Ska'Drin Ash players often properly play Ash as offtank and for the most part are good sports, it's nice enough at least when these guys are working with you, they will probably ask for someone to point tank while they do their thing.

Scorned

Another recolour with a different stereotype, these guys are also playing Ash as offtanks but their also raging assholes, and will bitch and moan from just about anything, whether it's their fault or not they'll yell at their team, though at the same time they are probably making space, and do their job well enough

Draconian Huntress

As mentioned earlier Ash mains tend to be rather rare, and the amount of people who'd go out of their way for this skin is rarer, these guys pretty much are guaranteed to be Ash mains or at the very least skin collectors. As for gameplay it's hard to say since I've seen like 4 people use this skin

Atlas

Atlas mains are pretty much obsessed with telling you they're Atlas mains it's like telling people you don't play fortnite or something. Like good on you mate, but I and I'm pretty sure most of the world don't really care. Skill ranges wildly and skins for the most part don't really change that.

Chronomancer

So uh this skin no one uses, you'll more likely find a Atlas running default with this Skin's gun, it's weird it's specific and I have no idea why it's like this... Oh yeah because Atlas looks awful without a beard.

Legionnaire

So Legionnaire Atlas is kinda a situation like Grave Danger Andro mostly because the skin again looks kind of goofy, though for the effort put into it, it's at least nice. Still these guys take themselves just as seriously as the skin does.

Corrupt/Vile

Most of these guys just suck like sure there's bound to be a good Corrupt or Vile Atlas out there but every one I've seen just sucks. It's a bloody shame since they're nice skins.

Azaan

Azaan doesn't really have too many skins to talk about but at the same time most people aren't exactly Azaan mains he's kind of a back pocket kind of champion.

Forgemaster

These guys actually main Azaan, and they're quick to get defensive on why they pick the shirtless Azaan skin

Dark Drake

I don't get how anyone understands this skin, it's so garbled and just nonsense, there's no real stereotype but I did find out that this skin has the same voice actor as Freddy Fazbear...

Barik

Again Barik mains are a rarity and, nost of the time I only really see last/bottom picks grabbing Barik and doing really nothing all game but cry about their team not carrying them.

Hi-Tek/Stonecut

If a champion has access to their pre-reworks skins and in general just older skins they're often on the cheaper side and really are just bought by newbies due to this, that's really it outside of the odd end nastolgia tripper.

Team Fortress 2

So you get this skin in a way that's similar to promotional recolours, and it's more or less exclusive to steam, it's a safe bet that a TF2 Barik is new at the game and on steam, that's it.

Swashbuckler

Pirate skins often invite people into running teams of pirates skins, outside of that Swashbuckler Bariks tend to more or less the point jockey they live on the point they die on the point.

Steel/Dragon Forged Barik

This guy listens to diggy diggy hole and probably runs some stupid deck that relies on a gimmick these guys are here for fun and will probably do something cool, maybe?

Betty

Betty is new-ish and so she only has the one skin, Betty kinda is the easy version of both Willo and Dredge without the impact of either, this means Betty attracts bad players.

Dragonette

Bowsette meme aside this is Betty's only real skin and so it's kinda broad to say anything but I assume once she gets something else it'll attract... A certain audience.
So yeah 5 champs, feel free to suggest anything for future champions I'll probably see or agree with them.

I've been looking back at much of the media I consumed early on and there's inappropriate age gaps, werid power dynamics, ECT. I think this groomed and primed me to be more vulnerable but also seek out inappropriate relationships.
I was sa'd at 9 by a 14yr old boy who was my brother's friend and seen as a part of the family. I did have a crush on him and spent much of my time around him and my brother but I never started any form of flirting with him. I actually began feeling uncomfortable the more it seemed he was accepting my feelings and normalizing physical contact. I did struggle a long time feeling like it was my fault because I liked him. Sadly I was sa'd multiple times before this incident as well by multiple boys so that certainly also has a part to play.
And tbh I've never dated my same age or younger. I have dated older men mostly because it's just what feels normal and right. I think that taste has many factors but media definitely may be one.
I just think it's crazy looking back at these shows I watched and how their seems to be a normalization of large age gaps, waiting until they turn 18, some incest or borderline it and even some of it doesn't have very clear consent or no consent that is never addressed.

My best guesses/what I would do:
Xavier McKinney: field general, green dot, do everything, a little box, a little post, a little split, a little slot.
Bullard: every thing X does but no green dot. I think Hafley will blitz Nixon and pick up Noxon's man a lot.
Evan Williams: mostly box, lot of blitzes, subs for Bullard on run downs, plays some underneath Zones and occasional man against TEs but not much.
Kitan Oladapo: box only safety and dime LB, blitzes a fair bit. Underneath Zones. Very occasional man vs. larger TEs. Subs in for Bullard in even more likely run situations. Dime LB.
Williams and Oladapo probably have more limited packages than above because the rookies, but the could work towards that.
Quay and Coop will do everything. Lot of blitzing. Hopper will alternate with McDuffie at SAM. His primary role will be to take on blocks.
Though I expect the run fits from the safeties will be quite a bit better this year since we'll have a safety closer than 20 yards to the line of scrimmage.
Also Williams, Hopper, and Oladapo's primary jobs will be to cover punts and kicks.
Gutey has really assembled a great roster and I think we finally have a DC who can use them properly.
I'm fired up, boys!!!*

2024.05.14 09:17 NekoJustice Roll20 Battle Report 2: Mayhem In The Metro Area!

It's going to be way easier to get you guys battle reports more consistently!
Today's battle report is the lowest point score I've ever played; a 300 point duel inside an urban setting! Perhaps this is a small part of a larger engagement of sorts?
This game features a unique layout that would be hard to replicate in physical play; a bridge over a deep river. The dark blue of the river counts as Deep Water terrain; furthermore, it's the lowest level of elevation, so the pavement, bridge, and buildings (which are High Ground anyway) all count as High Ground against the river. The centermost control point is the bridge's center, making it a deadly choke point!
Being an ultra low point game, squad composition is absolutely crucial. You have very little to work with, so you need to maximize your forces with what's available.
Principality of Zeon
Yours truly is running the Zeeks again. My strategy is simple; lock down the center lane, and try to buff cannon fodder to punch above their weight class. I've chosen a Zaku I Sniper as my unit to build around; I've upgraded them to an Ace, and made them my Commander. I'm going to give him Grand Strategist and Commando, making him extremely hard to target, able to give my Zaku I's and II's free Focus Actions en masse, and lock down the center lane while on top of a building, trying to cover my advancing forces.
Earth Federation Forces
Daisucc again is my opponent. He has a smaller team with a diverse set of weapons; three GM Ground Types, and a GM Striker Ace as his Commander. His Ace has Elusive and Close Combat Expert; both very complementary to its strengths. However, that's not what has me worried; it's a close combat Ace with Decimator. This is actually an extremely potent choice, because he could easily use Tear Through The Ranks on a unit with a highly proven track record to swing Momentum in his favor, putting us at a difference of FIVE if successful. We're only starting with three! I will need to play this very, very carefully.
Round 1
In a rare turn of events, I win the die roll! I distribute my Focus Actions to my Zaku II’s and a Zaku I. I start off with an artillery barrage, trying to force Daisucc’s hand. He responds by targeting the cover of his assailant directly, blasting down the building and toppling it. Uncool, man!
I push forward with a Zaku II, trying to get pressure on the bridge. He sends out his Machine Gun GM, and puts a few rounds into him. Fortunately, that means my Zaku I Sniper can cleanly…
…not kill the GM? Didn’t roll as well as I’d hoped, because my opponent pops two Momentum to save him. Bleh. Fortunately, my Zaku II survives the Beam Rifler attacking him, and my other Magella Cannon Zaku II finished off the Machine Gunner. His GM Striker vainly fires off his Machine Gun before taking cover behind a… we’ll say an exceptionally large… truck, of sorts, on the bridge. My Zaku I’s take up High Ground positions to conclude the Round.
Round 2
This round was a blur, because it mostly involved a lot of people shooting at each other, missing, and just barely being out of one another’s ranges. Our strategies have us at odds; he needs to advance to cause havoc, but I have the range and numbers advantage, 3-to-1 at this point. I need to hold back until the right time, or the Striker Ace will make victory impossible, using my larger team size against me. He manages to knock out my Zaku II on the bridge, but has to retreat behind cover in order to not get wiped against my many High Ground Zaku I’s with Focus Actions. It’s tense!
Round 3
My opponent wins the die roll. He advances his Bazooka GM out from cover, and knocks out a Zaku I that had crossed the river with Full Throttle last round. However, the other Machine Gun Zaku II on the bridge responds by jumping on the “truck,” using the Accelerate Pilot Skill to get the position, use a Focus Action and High Ground to get four free hits, pluse another three from Rapid Fire…
And rolls a bunch of crits! He has enough movement to hop down to protect himself.
We’re getting somewhere now, but there’s a problem. See, my higher quantity of forces leaves me with the distinct risk of my opponent earning too many Victory Points to win, especially if I can’t nail down the Striker Ace. At this point, my opponent is actually tying the game 2-2… and the Striker could turn this around very fast.
This is emphasized by the Beam Rifle GM popping on the building it’s behind with Accelerate, putting a clean hole in the cockpit of my Zaku II with a Magella Cannon across the bridge with Tactical Advantage, and hopping back down. 3-2. Shit.
I continue to jockey for positions, moving my Zaku I Sniper off its perch with Full Throttle, with a new strategy in mind…
Round 4
I win the die roll, and push my Zaku I Sniper forward JUST ENOUGH to get my opponent at 25.3 inches away. This is a crucial distance for the Zaku I Sniper; just within Sensors Range, just outside of Rapid Fire. This is the ideal kill distance… and also allows me to Target Lock, and shoot through the Striker’s cover…
But it lives! Augh! How?!
I lose another Zaku I. 4-2. Victory is looking poor, unless I get that Striker Ace, which would put us at 2-5… another Zaku I manages to use Rapid Fire and a Focus Action to knock it down. It’s real close to the GM Striker… this could be rough.
But, as my Magella Zaku II pops its Focus Action to get an extra hit on him, the cover of the Striker collapses! This is the crucial thing I needed to clinch the win! Exposed, it rapidly capitulates to Focus Action enhanced Machine Gun barrages, securing the win.
Conclusion
This was a fun, tense game! I feel that this could’ve swung in a different direction entirely if I wasn’t playing really conservatively. If my opponent had brought even one Artillery Cannon on a Ground Type or a Guntank MP, this could’ve been a very different game! Even still, his units were capable of much higher damage than my many, many cannon fodder units, and it was only through careful planning did I prevent my opponent’s lethal strategy from properly going off.

I recently graduated from college and I'm struggling to find a job. It's really demoralising for me receiving rejection letters, I'm a big gamer and playing games is the only thing that has kept my morale up during these tough times. My financial situation is pretty dire right now, I can't afford to buy a lot of new games.
I'm currently looking to buy Horizon Forbidden West on my PS5. This is my 22nd attempt at requesting for this game. I played the first game on my PS4 and loved it. The standard edition of the game is currently on sale at $49.99. I'm looking for a $50 PlayStation gift card of US region.
GAME SUMMARY
The sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the Western United States recovering from the aftermath of an extinction event caused by a rogue robot swarm. The player can explore the open world and complete quests using ranged and melee weapons against hostile machine creatures.
Basically the game takes place in the far future where humanity almost gets destroyed by their advanced robotic creations. But it seems humanity have sort of gone backwards with their primitive clothing, implying that they haven't got the previous knowledge of their ancestors. The first game Horizon Zero Dawn, the protagonist Aloy discovers secrets about what happened to humanity, and its sequel is the continuation of this first game where she explores the far west of modern day america.
WHY I'M INTERESTED
The reason why this game appeals to me is the setting. I find it soo interesting how humanity was able to be on the brink of extinction and somehow managed to survive (I can't anymore due to spoilers). And after surviving, civilisation sort of went backwards instead of continuing on from the ancestors. I watch a lot of lore videos on youtube about this game, and there are many different stories hidden in the game world which tells us different perspectives of people on the situation. Even though its humanity that is in trouble, everybody has a different view on how to tackle the problem. But this is only touching the surface, there is also the robot machines created in these giant cauldrons that is a big mystery to this day.

Wallace was kinda clutch tonight and as a rookie that is fantastic. Felt he had a few rookie fouls...but shit his play on both sides were pretty solid to my eyes.
Do we see him taking a starter in the series just because I think he matches better on defense? Does giddy get for continuity? Also called on the crucial in bound giddy would come in and do it. The one and only thing you can't take from him is that boy is an awesome passer.
Thoughts on changes going into game 5?

hello!!! the urge to find this childhood movie that i used to watch at my grandmas before she sold her house suddenly struck me the other day so any help would be greatly appreciated, here is what i could dig out of my cave of memories:
the intro/studio intro (because im very sure there was more than one movie with this intro) was a man leaving work & riding a bike to a little boy & girl (could have been their dad or a babysitter idk) & they lit a candle & pulled out a book (i remember it had that 00's glow to it but that could just be child brain)
the rest of the movie was 2D animated like it was handdrawn, it was the story of what i believe was the snow queen but ive never watched it
the thing about the evil mirror smashing & the shards went into a kings eye & he saw everything as ugly & everyone as mean a shard goes into a little boys eye (im very sure he was brunette) & he becomes nasty to his girl bestie & grandma
he ditches the girl & starts playing with the evil little boys in the town then he leaves (i'm presuming to find the queen?) & she goes to find him she gets trapped in a cottage surrounded by flowers next to a river by a witch lady & she combs her hair to sleep then she either runs away or is freed to find the boy
i remember an igloo tower sort of building in the middle of a snow storm & there's a guy with his reindeer & i think he lends her the reindeer
don't remember much else BUT i remember that ouroboros was in it (OOH I THINK HES WEARING IT AS A NECKLACE MAYBE)
