If you want to do this, you MUST install each addon INDIVIDUALLY and apply them to the correct custom folders AND IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER. I will mark them as such. You may also need to prioritize certain addons by adding a certain letter or number to the beginning of the filename. I will mark when to do so. Finally, if a note reads "(Follow Instructions)," you must follow the written instructions provided by the mod developer. All addons are on GameBanana.

Ok so people will use DOG as an excuse for saying the Advisors are very weak and before I got downvoted into oblivion by many DOG fans and say things like "But DIdN't DOG EaSilY kIlL aN AdvISoR WiTH HiS BaRe hAnDS?!" Or "YOu dIdN't LoOk aT ThE eNdInG Of EP2." Now I am gonna show you proof.
To all those people and DOG fans who didn't PAY ATTENTION CLOSELY to what happened to the Advisor that was about to kill Alyx but was stopped by DOG (since everybody were more focused on Eli Vance's death than that Advisor) in the next scene the Advisor quickly scuttle and fly away as blood was coming out of it's mouth (look at the image above) before the first Advisor also escapes after killing Eli meaning DOG only INJURED it not KILLED it also DOG was able to jump and attack the second Advisor because it was too busy and was concentrating on Alyx so DOG caught it off-guard so of the second Advisor was being very careful it would catch DOG in midair or before he jump on and attack it from the roof using it's telekinesis (since the Advisor hasn't use it's tongue-like appendage on Alyx yet) would simply throw him to the side or crush parts of his body using it's telekinesis before throwing him just like that barn Advisor in the barn scene where it was able to bend a barrel effortlessly using it's telekinesis and so will goes the same for DOG before the second Advisor refocus back on Alyx.

I’ve been working on a personal rendition of Half-Life 2 that takes elements from both retail and older eras of Half-Life 2’s development and wanted to get feedback on how you would personally like to see some of the characters from earlier eras portrayed. Here I’d like to specifically ask about Eli Maxwell and Captain Vance, as I’ve taken a unique approach to adapting their characters compared to how they are in the “source” material.
Instead of having Eli completely absorbing Captain Vance’s character, I’ve instead separated the “Vance” from the Captain, so as of now they are Eli Vance and Captain Maxwell. In my retelling, I want to keep the fathedaughter relationships and story aspects that Alyx and Eli have in retail, but still keep Captain Vance’s storyline and The Conscripts. I’m still currently working on how to adapt Captain Maxwell further to be a more compelling character now that Alyx has been separated from him, but I have a few ideas already brewing.
I’d love to get feedback on how you feel about this approach, and about their characters in general! What do you think makes their characters compelling in the beta? Do you prefer Eli and Alyx’s parental dynamic or would you rather see the Captain’s parental dynamic with Alyx be developed? How do you feel about the name of Maxwell being switched?
Any feedback or additional ideas would be greatly appreciated and I can’t wait to develop this project more and eventually share it with you all!
