My mother has lived in an abusive relationship for many years now, we live with my step dad, his two kids, me and my sister and my mum. Throughout the years my step dad has always mentally abused my mum with threats of kicking her out the house manipulating others around us and playing victim in many situations but recently he hit my mum, she was slapped around the face then pushed her against a wall and hardback sofa. The police were called and dealt with it and put him into jail for the night, when he came home the next day we all sat down and again he played victim and claimed my mum had been pestering him and was throwing his stuff, he did not take accountability and even after I asked him to say sorry to all of us he didn’t, tonight we sat down again and it kicked off once again my step brother went off on my mum saying she’s crazy and a bitch because of the way she treats my stepdad, he also went on to say my mum doesn’t pay any bills and contributes nothing to the house, but in fact my step dad was claiming universal credit in his and my mums name and keeping all the money he was using this money for paying the rent, the illegal part of this is he claims he isn’t working when in fact he is but due to him not claiming the invoices he receives from work it seems as if he is making £0 a month when in fact he makes over £5000 plus £3000 from universal credit, his kids also both get money from PIPS which they should not receive my step brother has dyslexia and step sister has autism and various mental health issues , they both get about £400 a month each, he claims my step brother doesn’t work when he does full time, and my step sister needs constant care.
The advice we are looking for is how we can leave this house my mum does not have much money and cannot receive universal credit due to my step dad claiming it all some charities offer housing but not for me (18) my sister (24) and our dog she has spoken to many women charity’s and friends from work for advice, another issue of us moving is my mums credit score has been ruined by my step dad to stop her from moving out due to this if she was to try rent a house they would most likely deny it as her rating is so low, my mum has become severely depressed due to the current circumstances and all I want to do is help her to be safe and leave as I’m only in the house 2 weeks of the month, and legal or general advice of what we can do will help, is there any law as that entitle her to the money she was not receiving I’m not too sure what to do and I know how helpful Reddit can be any help from anyone would be very appreciated

I've had a credit card with them 10 years, always pay on time, etc. I've had 2 fraud issues in the past, a flight to Panama (I'm American and know no one there) and some online shenanigans. Recently I had rampant fraud, like 1k worth of Amazon orders and online subscriptions in the past month.
They have emailed me 50ish times and I've called them 10 times, and keep getting transferred. They need more information, yadda yadda, same shit I've confirmed repeatedly. Logged in to see balance, they also closed my account, won't refund me and want more information again?
F them. They will send me a new card if I want to re-apply? but keep same card number with fraud?
They're utterly incompetent. Just a heads up, leave now.

The s*x life of my boyfriend (30m) and I (29f) had been seriously lacking for about 6/7 months. We’ve been together for two years and I understand things cool down to a certain extent, but I was very frustrated when we went two full months of no s*x. The thing is he is using korn every night. Four months ago I brought it up (lack of s*x, not korn) because his obvious lack of interest was making me feel very insecure about myself. He said it was ‘him’ and he wasn’t feeling very attractive. It’s true he had maybe gained some weight, but I really doubted his excuse and still felt it was me.
There was nothing off between us except for the fact that it was clear he was more into using korn every night then s*x with me - Getting along great, still cuddly/kissy/sweet and honestly loving, having fun together and apart. Note: His ‘apart’ mostly consists of cards at our house with like 6 other guys once a week and also basketball one night a week, but of course he has drinks with friends every once in awhile (same). We have each other’s location, never suspected any other women. Together we have dinner or drinks with friends a few times a month and a couple date nights just to ourselves.
He got a new phone a few months ago, but kept his old one and specifically used it for korn and kept it in his bedside drawer. He knows I know where it is and is aware I could look at it at anytime. After the two full months of no s*x, mentioning my frustration to him and him and him brushing it off I finally decided to look.
Checked his messages, not updated as of the last 2 months, but nothing. Checked his IG/DM’s which is still active and updated, nothing. Checked his FB messages which is active and updated, nothing. I opened up the browser expecting kornhub or something like that but was met with OF’s. The dates of him opening the account lined up with our lack of s*x. Nothing crazy in regards to money spent, but definitely consistency. From what he was sending in the messages I wouldn’t have believed it was him if it weren’t for some pretty specific details. No particular type of girl, pretty broad range. I was mostly pissed at what he was saying he would “do” to these women. Things I would have LOVED for him to do to me. So why is he telling them these things and not me? Lazy? It’s just about saying it not actually falling through with it? I can understand it all if he was also having s*x with me/putting in that effort (that isn’t apparently effort when just saying it to women online) with me. He had also insinuated that he would want to see these women in real life and for them to come to the city we live, which for me is very much in cheating territory.
That night he had plans to go out for a few drinks with coworkers, so I texted him to see if I could join. Since he works an hour away and I was texting him just 30 minutes before he would be off he said it didn't make sense for me to drive there to end up having just one drink and drive an hour back. He offered to grab drinks when he was back in town. This seemed reasonable, except he ended up staying at the bar for 3 hours, which would have been worth the drive. He didn't text me about staying longer and I would normally wouldn’t have a problem with this – I myself find this freedom important in a relationship, but of course you need trust. I texted him a few times, which he ignored and that’s something I am not ok with and does not make me trust you. I know this because I went his IG on his old phone and he had sent a meme to a guy friend during the time I was texting him so he was clearly ignoring me. I made his status able to be seen on his IG so I could tell him I could see that he was on his phone and ignoring me. I was pretty accusatory on the phone so he was just as defensive.
When he got home I said nothing and continued to not mention the OF’s. A few days later after he had used the phone a few times I opened the browser again. This time posts/conversations on Reddit in mostly swingers threads. He posted explicit photos of us having s*x (no faces, couldn’t tell who we were) and was having conversations about swinging with different men/couples. This floooooored me. The worst of it was him “trading” n*ude photos of me with different men for photos of their wives. I’m pretty sure this is where any person in their right mind would leave.
I can imagine most people would also just blow up, but I am just not comfortable doing that. I get really distracted with raised voices and people talking in circles and all the extreme emotions. So I took screen shots of the OF’s and Reddit posts/convo’s, put it in a PDF and added my thoughts/emotions/questions. Pretty much how betrayed I was, what I needed him to stop/delete/horrified by (Unauthorized sharing of photos of me), and what I think was fine in regards porn IF he was able f*ck me and keep me satisfied.
I mean I knew no matter what things would result in yelling and tears, but he started off with telling me I was ‘psychotic’ for basically presenting all the info in a power point. He knows I express my thoughts/emotions better when I type if up and I think this would give him more clarity as well. He was defensive and felt 'attacked' although I did my best to avoid that because I really wanted to have an honest productive conversation about it all. He apologized for the Reddit stuff, kind’ve unforgivable, but we’ll see. I'm fine with whatever he was wants to do on OF's as long as I am being kept satisfied – S*x is truly one of my top priorities in a relationship. The success of that has a large reliance on me feeling very much 'desired.' If there is no basis in that there is nothing for me to work with.

The only mistake I see fellow apes making is buying options with a too early expiration date. It would just be better to buy shares or later expiry date options because we do not decide when FFIE goes up drastically. Hedge funds will decide when they close their positions because it costs too much or the time runs out.
Also, please let's not judge others for when they decide what their financial freedom is. WS (or the queen of FFIE) mentioned she was just here when it pops off, and if that allows her financial freedom, we should support our fellow apes brothers and sisters in what they decide is right for them.
We are doing incredible. We are winning, and we will win. Just give it some time.

- We have a CEO and company that respects their major shareholders (which is us because we own most of the float). They've been releasing more content lately, which helps us gain more exposure and we have the greatest community of apes to spread the word.
- We have hedge funds betting on FFIE to fail, and they're doing so unsuccessfully thus far. They have failed to drive the share price down back to 4 cents (it wasn't that long ago that the price was there) and have some FTDs (failure-to-delivers) back because they're on the SHO list.
- Time is on our side. This is the important one because I think this is where most people get it incorrect.
- We own the float, which means hedge funds need to borrow shares to short it. You can see they borrowed about 3-4~ million today.
- Hedge funds need to pay interest on those shares. Currently the interest has been about 11% on average the past 2 weeks.
- If they do not own any shares, they will always need to borrow.
- If we are holding/buying and the word is spreading, the share price will increase. They also need to return FTDs they haven't paid from the previous month, which will also increase the price.
- If the share price increases, the cost to borrow the shares will increase drastically. For some stocks out there right now, the cost to borrow is in the 100% range. Check out SMFL on fintel for an extreme case.
- In time, we will bleed them out. They might buy 3-4 million shares at 11%, but are they willing to buy that many at 30%, 50%, 100% or more?

I currently have a $24k car loan with American Airlines Credit union, a $4k consolidation loan and a $3k personal loan. I also have delinquent accounts with affirm totaling $1,500. I have a charge off on my credit report and a collections of $600 total. I also have $900 on my credit card. I really want to be debt free and been researching how but It is only giving me links to National Debt Relief which I don’t wanna do. I need serious help. I opened my oldest and only account just over 3 years ago, but that card ended up getting closed because I had too long of a period of inactivity and hurt my credit score. No late payments on it.
I've been renting the same apartment during college for 3 years as well, and was late paying rent by a day or two maybe 4 or 5 times during that span.
Otherwise, I really have no credit history. My vantage credit score is 650. The agency that assessed me didn't have enough information about me to even compute their risk assessment score. For the same reason, I don't seem to have a FICO score.
This apartment is fairly nice for my area, about $1700 monthly for a 1 bedroom. I am fortunate to have a job coming out of college where this is well within my budget. I asked everywhere I toured about how they assess applicants and they all gave an income requirement (that I meet) and basically just gave a vague answer about how they then review your credit history.
I understand that I'll probably have to select a cheaper apartment because of my lack of credit history, but how do I tell if I have a shot at a given place? I don't want to keep burning $50-$100 to apply to places that I don't have a shot for.
Also, is it my lack of history or my late payments that would be the bigger issue here?

I get there and grab a few items, something for dinner, something for lunch the next day, and some paper towels and TP. I see that there are only two lanes open, the Express Lane and a lane with a bewildered cashier holding back a horde of carts and sour looking people on the far end of the store. There are a half dozen self-checkout lanes and I start pulling into one when I hear a very boomer voice, "Fifteen items or less!". Somewhat startled by his sudden demand I look in my cart and while it may have look like a lot of items it was mostly the towels and tp that were taking up the volume. "I don't have much" I say but I am immediately greeted back with "Fifteen Items of Less!" I give a little, "okay" and keep moving towards the self-checkout. Only one checkout was currently occupied so I move to the end to begin scanning. That is when he grabbed my cart and planted his white-headed self in front of it, "Fifteen Items of Less!" And points to towards the cashier. Exhausted I simple grumble and move to the caravan of souls in the other far lane.
There I wait for at least 20 minutes as the cashier is having to explain the concept of how a credit card works to a 90 year old, a kid with his mom argue over gum, and I hear call after call on the intercom, "Need help at checkout... cashier to check out."
Finally have my items and leave, after bagging them myself.

I beat it a few years ago but with the show and after beating FNV I figured I’d go back and play it again (I felt like a rushed my first playthrough of FO4). That’s just some context. I wanted to try the survival difficulty (makes me want to off myself) but after a couple of hours I got used to the whole eating and sleeping to save. Well I was doing pretty alright but I did a quest where I ended up far from any settlements no companion no water and exhausted. Then I ran into this guy named “Pyro” and I was already barely overencumbererd and so I gave in to my buffout addiction and ran where I then found this pool settlement where I got Pyro to agro on to them so I could get a few cheap shots and get rid of him. I took a few pieces of the armor since mine were already broken and kept moving to a bunker to finish the quest and go home to sanctuary. (The quest was “The Lost Patrol” if that helps). I FINALLY got to the bunker and got to the last stage in the quest. The guy offered his bed and so I got out of my power armor to sleep. As soon as I got out a bunch of random enemies spawned and I instantly died. 4 hours almost of unsaved adventuring gone. I turned it off and immediately went to bed. (It’s on the PS5 “Next-Gen” version of FO4, no mods) Can someone help me figure that out what the hell happened? Please I don’t want to have die to a glitch again. If not it’s cool. I pray to whichever go will listen to hope that doesn’t happen again. |

I made sure to stop using my credit cards 90 days before filing but about a month ago there was a charge on one of my cards (the lowest debt one I owe at least) that for some reason charged me $7 for something on Amazon. I remember I could have sworn I used my debit but it locked onto that card and I got a message saying "though you don't have enough in your card to get this item, we allowed this transaction to pass" which I didn't want. Phone plans in Canada. Everyone gets fucked over because telus or virgin mobile or whatever make you pay $60 for texting, calling, and 1 gig data. If you are lucky you can get 10 gigs data for that. I have a very rare plan on a provider called chatr. My first plan was 10$/month for texting and calling. then I used to pay 25$/month for 2 gigs data and texting/calling. They upped my cost last year to 27$/month. And now they are offering all these new deals to me, since i never change my plan. I can get texting/calling and 50 gigs of data for only 29$ a month. So apparently the data to cost rate is very low, but they still inflate everything so much. I had to pay an extra 17$ for 2 gigs data, then they jangle the fucking deal of +48 gigs for an extra 2$ a month. Fuck you chatr, you will probably make my plan cost that much anyway in the future.

So i started switching regions to buy games. Im travelling and right now i´m physically in Nicaragua.
Here is what i did (in a spawn of 3 days or so)
- I started with the Eshop in Spain and changed to Japan, added funds through giftcard, used it all.
- Changed to Norway, bought NSO + expansion
- Changed to Chile, and then the issues started. I couldnt use any of my 4 chileans card. Tried with VPN, on the console, nothing worked.
- Went back to Norway to try to purchase the game, the same european card i used to buy the NSO didnt work any longer
- Went back to Chile and left the eshop there before contacting Nintendo
- A couple of weeks went by, and i swapped to Argentina to buy another game, i used an argentinian´s friend card, and it didnt work.
- Went back to Chile, tried to buy the game with the same card i know worked last time, AND AGAIN IM "BANNED" from buying game with any payment method in any eshop i try.

I booked porter flights for my family a while back, thinking buying early was a way of getting cheaper tickets. Unfortunately, the tickets have decreased by 60% making us pay over 2000 extra - feeling pretty sick to the stomach now - that's after a few panic attacks.
Anyhow, I can't get any of my money back so I'm trying to figure out if I can cancel my tickets and rebook them and get a credit that we might be able to use in the near future (unlikely).
But now my question is about travel insurance on my credit card, if I cancel my tickets and rebook them using the credits, would I still be covered? My credit card (mastercard Roger Elite) says the full trip has to be on my credit card and it would still be just the tickets were changed. Would I still be covered?

Anyhow, I can't get any of my money back so I'm trying to figure out if I can cancel my tickets and rebook them and get a credit that we might be able to use in the near future (unlikely).
But now my question is about travel insurance on my credit card, if I cancel my tickets and rebook them using the credits, would I still be covered? My credit card (mastercard Roger Elite) says the full trip has to be on my credit card and it would still be just the tickets were changed. Would I still be covered?

I am looking to get a credit card and my goal is mostly to save on online shopping and travel (lounge access). I just want it to be easy to get. I’m okay with LTF reccos or paying a nominal yearly fee.
The catch is my CIBIL Score doesn’t exist.
Although I somehow managed to get an Axis Flipkart card approved but only a 50k limit. ATP I’m scared of applying for more and getting rejected and that affecting my score.
I make around 11 LPA (if that’s relevant)
Any suggestions/ recommendations is appreciated. TIA 😭💕

I'm sure there is an answer to this but I'm having a hard time finding a solid one. I applied for a credit card a month ago and had it mailed to my physical address. I tried calling the company to have them mail it to my PO box they said they were unable to it has to be a physical address that I live at. I waited 14 days and had it resent adding my PO Box # in the second line like
Lowspeed John Wayne 12 main Rd # 123 Smalltown, NY 12345
It's been almost 14 business days again and I still haven't received it. The CC company was willing to change the address like this but it took a lot of talking and I'm not sure what the next step should be if the card doesn't arrive soon, I am pretty sure it already got booted back as undeliverable. CC company offered to close my account the first time which will hurt my score. Is there anything I can do to get it delivered? If not what can I do to stop this from hurting my credit score?
